Solty Revant
Solty Revant
Voiced by: Momoko Saito (Japanese), Carrie Savage (English)
- Curtains Match the Window: Green hair and eyes.
- Diving Save: Done multiple times.
- Easy Amnesia: After hitting a metal beam headfirst, Solty can't remember her past or her real name.
- Fanservice: Her frequent backside shots.
- Happily Adopted: By Roy. This is actually why Rose initially rejects Roy after finding out she's his daughter.
- Healing Hands: It's not as perfect as the trope usually is, but it's better than the alternative.
- Hidden Eyes: Just before going badass.
- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: With Roy.
- "I Know You Are in There Somewhere" Fight: To Rose. It works.
- I Owe You My Life: The reason Solty starts following Roy around.
- Lethal Chef: Solty starts off this way, but improves dramatically with practice.
- Line-of-Sight Name: Solty, from the brand name of a phonograph.
- Living Emotional Crutch: For Roy.
- Megaton Punch: The use of Solty's Power Fist.
- Motor Mouth
- Power Fist: When it starts vibrating.
- Really 700 Years Old: Due to being a gynoid Spaceship Girl.
- Robot Girl: Initially assumed to just have a lot of cybernetic enhancement, Solty is revealed to be one.
- Rummage Sale Reject: Solty picks the... unusual outfit after Roy says he "loves it" without looking at it just to get her to pick an outfit.
- Taking the Bullet: Solty actually catches a bullet, carrying the momentum into a backfist on the attacker.
- Unusual Ears: Solty's are long, pointed, expressive, and the same color as her hair. Kasha actually asks if it's some sort of new fad.
Roy Revant
Roy Revant
Voiced by: Joji Nakata (Japanese), Christopher Sabat (English)
- Alliterative Name: Roy Revant
- Anti-Hero: Initially. He changes as the series goes on.
- Birds of a Feather: Roy and Miranda are this considering they're both people widowed by the events of the Blast Fall that killed their respective spouses and end up having young charges to parent over to give them a reason to keep living. This is invoked by Miranda to get Roy over his angst over chasing away Solty as part of a "Reason You Suck" Speech against Roy for chasing away someone who cares about him. It's also used as the reason the two end up falling in love with each other.
- Diving Save: Done multiple times.
- Fond Memories That Could Have Been: Solty's aloof and coldly distant adoptive father frantically pleaded for his little girl to not go through with the suicidal Heroic Sacrifice to save the planet, even going as far as telling her that he would take her to the amusement park like any father would his daughter. She simply smiles with tears in her eyes, and says that she's happy to have been his daughter, and bravely steps into the shuttle to her doom.
- Heroic BSoD: After Rose's "death".
- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: With Solty.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Manly Tears: Roy sheds some genuinely believable manly tears when it's known that he might lose one of his daughters, Solty, because of the events of the final episode (staying after the credits shows that Solty survived).
- Sadistic Choice: In the Grand Finale, Roy is being forced by Ashley to choose between Rose and Solty, both captured. Roy takes a third option and shoots his own arm with his free hand so he wouldn't be forced to shoot. Ashley shoots him instead and a very pissed off Solty and PowerArmored Rose free themselves.
Rose Anderson
Rose Anderson
Voiced by: Masumi Asano (Japanese), Colleen Clinkenbeard (English)
- Bio-Augmentation: Eventually, Rose is revealed to be this and why she looks different from when she was Roy's daughter Rita.
- Brainwashed: It is never really clear if Rose was or was not, as the series even mentions that would be a bad idea because it could hamper her performance. It can be assumed that it may have been used earlier on her to prevent her from contacting anyone.
- It's later shown to be at least partially More than Mind Control: a product of Ashley carefully justifying his cause to Rose, and as far as it goes, the Jerkass Has a Point: he is attempting The Starscream against a renegade AI that wants to control humanity. It's only when things really went wild that she decided to see things for herself and set up her turning back around.
- Faking the Dead: She's actually Roy's daughter Rita, whom seemingly died. She has this again when the clock tower crushes her.
- If You Kill Him, You Will Be Just Like Him!: Everybody present pulls this on Rose to keep her from killing the man who murdered her best friend when she was just a child. It works but as soon as Rose is out of sight and earshot, her brother Larry kills the murderer anyway.
- "I Know You Are in There Somewhere" Fight: With Solty.
- In the Name of the Moon: She likes to do this.
- It's Personal: In the episode Revenge.
- Just Like Robin Hood: Rose and her brothers become thieves to help provide medicine and other supplies for the 'unregistered' residents.
- Tempting Fate: After Rose and Roy reconcile with Rose telling Roy that she's happy to be his daughter, Rose comments that this was easier than she thought. Cue the clock tower exploding and her getting crushed beneath it.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Rose holds Roy at gunpoint in the middle of a busy sidewalk, and no one but Solty reacts.
- We Help the Helpless: Her with her partners.
Miranda Maverick
Miranda Maverick
Voiced by: Sayaka Ohara (Japanese), Stephanie Young (English)
- Alliterative Name: Miranda Maverick
- Birds of a Feather: Roy and Miranda are this considering they're both people widowed by the events of the Blast Fall that killed their respective spouses and end up having young charges to parent over to give them a reason to keep living. This is invoked by Miranda to get Roy over his angst over chasing away Solty as part of a "Reason You Suck" Speech against Roy for chasing away someone who cares about him. It's also used as the reason the two end up falling in love with each other.
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Miranda doesn't just hit Roy to bring him out of his Heroic BSoD, she beats the tar out of him. It's stated that this isn't the first time concussive maintenance was applied.

Yuto K. Steel
Yuto K. Steel
Voiced by: Hiro Shimono (Japanese), Chris Patton (English)
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Yuto is eccentric and a little perverted, but he's absolutely skilled at what he does.
- But Not Too Foreign: Implied, given his Japanese first name, yet English surname.
- Chivalrous Pervert: He tends to watch over Solty with dirty thoughts, but he's a good man.
- Implied Love Interest: For Solty, given he's the only guy aside from Roy in the group and her closest male friend.
- Made of Explodium: It's not actually an example of Readings Are Off the Scale. Yuto just plugged the machine directly into the main power line to give it more power (not a good idea).
- The Smart Guy: Fairly knowledgeable about machines and other things.
- Smart People Wear Glasses: The only one who wears glasses in the group and a fairly knowledgeable young man.
R.U.C. Personnel
In General
- Amazon Brigade: The four ladies definitely qualify.
- Dwindling Party: Downplayed Trope. Sylvia, Celica, and Ashley are killed and only Accela and Integra are left alive at the end of the series.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The four girls are all tight-knit. When Celica gets fired, Sylvia goes to confront Ashley. It ends with her killed, much to her companions' horror.
- Fanservice: Bonus goes to Integra and Sylvia, given they're the oldest of the four. And they know it.
- Theme Naming: They're named after cars.
- Villainous BSoD: The girls have this after witnessing Sylvia get killed. Celica though has the worst of it.

Ashley Lynx
Voiced by: Nobuo Tobita (Japanese), Jason Liebrecht (English)

Eunomia
Eirene
Eirene
Voiced by: Sumi Shimamoto (Japanese), Wendy Powell (English)
- We Have Reserves: Eirene believes that all that is needed to preserve humanity is to collect its data, AKA, their DNA samples. If the current humanity becomes too unruly to be kept alive, then she believes they must be destroyed so that she can just restart humanity from the samples. Solty argues that humanity is more than just data - they're also people with lives.

This happens constantly during his episode until the last time, when he tries to hide the fact that he loves her, even when he knows he'll die soon. After he dies, Solty begins to use that saying from then on, to remind her of him.
- Spirit Advisor: Will serves as a sounding board for Solty's introspection.
