  • Greater God to Overdeity for "Gabriel", Intermediate God for a lone Alternate and 6, Lesser God for Stanley and Overdeities as a whole.
  • Symbol: Their true "face", a completely pitch black featureless head except two eyes resembling human ones.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Being creatures who will screw your mind up and toss it into shredder metaphorically just by directly interacting with them, ALL of them being evil, Torture your mind heavily by telling you truths about existence that you should not know, Being defacto-demons and Satan posing as humans and an angel, Shapeshifting by choice to mimic humans, Killing and replacing the people they mimic, Sometimes failing at pretending to be humans.
  • Domains: Shapeshifting, Deceit, Insanity, Torture
  • Allies: The Impostors among the Crewmates, Chernabog, Damien Thorn, Dis, Giygas
  • Rivals: The Dark Matter Horde

  • Annoys: Kevin McCallister (6 only)

  • Student: Nothing There
  • Complicated Relationship: Sr Pelo
  • Person of interest (The Preacher only): Kiara Sessyoin
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Melkor, most Satans

  • A beautiful temple would suddenly appear in the House of Dread and Valor. Even with its promising appearance, three generic adventurers were sent in like always. They found that the temple belonged to...Gabriel?! But didn't he have another one? Somewhere more fitting? The adventurers backed away slowly, but then the gate slammed shut. Oh no, no, no, this was very clearly a trap. Gabriel would keep on making demands, harsh and irrational ones that the real deal would never make. After a bit, he paused. He said new creatures will enter the Pantheon, ones that won't be noticed. The adventurers used that time to bust through the gate with the gear they were given and escape. Outside the temple, the gods asked them about what was inside. "There was a person who pretended to be Gabriel!" One of them said. "And they made odd requests too." Another one added. The other two agreed and supported their accounts.
  • The Alternates are entities from the biblical times, the destroyers of God's message. Satan took upon the form of Gabriel, attempted to manipulate Noah then killed him once he did not submit. And from that day on, the Alternates and "Gabriel"(the new name Satan had took up as a mockery of the original) have manipulated, killed and strayed humans away from God using their shape shifting and deception. Along the way, a few of them had made names for themselves, one who was known for stalking a man named Thatcher along with racking up quite the kill count, a stealthy undisguised Alternate named N that attacks from the shadows, the imposters simply going by "Cesar" and "Woman". On top of that, some entities have decided to help the Alternates. Stanley, a being that exists in the realm of TV, being able to create Alternates out of children's imaginations and 6, a technology manipulating monster that can move and tamper through any electronic device. Said 6 also has an Alternate lackey of his own, nicknamed the Preacher which is supposed to look like a nun...but failed. Either way, the Preacher is sent to 6's targets to drive them insane.
  • As soon as Jebus had found out about the existence of the Alternates, he was cross. In his rage, he immediately attacked the temple that belonged to the Alternates. Busting down the gates, he'd come shooting everything in the room, making sure anything that was hiding in the darkness was not going to escape his divine wrath. He put up a great fight, showing no fear or hesitance at all when facing them, slicing them down despite any form they took. But unfortunately, due to their nature and the Pantheon being capable of reviving deities, he almost always fails in his crusades and is defeated. Each time when Jebus returns from a visit to the temple of Analog Horror, he must be checked thoroughly for any signs of M.A.D or being an Alternate. They don't want a repeat of that incident again when an Alternate got ahold of the halo Jebus uses...
  • The aliens masquerading as Crewmates running the Skeld respect the Alternates, being very similar creatures who are arguably more successful in their task. They've collaborated with the monstrosities of Mandela County, letting them join them in pretending to be Crewmates and sabotaging the ship, much to the dismay of the real Crewmates. Fortunately, when a Crewmate ejects themself out of the spaceship it is very clear who they are dealing with...which causes utter panic and mayhem in the ship. Some gods have admitted loving to watch the Crewmates frantically try to find out who the Alternate is as they have chaotic arguments, all while the alien Impostors kill in the background.
  • Nothing There has disturbingly begun meeting the Alternates. The creature, as soon as it detects an Alternate in its vicinity goes silent each time an Alternate approaches it. These "meetings" happen weekly, with them consisting of unintelligible noises, with a few blurts of "hi", "greetings", "how are you" and such in different voices from both creatures. Some who have observed this have advised interrupting these meetings, afraid that the Alternates were teaching the creature how to behave and talk like a human. Those requests turned into demands once they heard the Alternate side of the conversation utter "smart". But ever since a lesson was thwarted, it is much rarer to find Nothing There and an Alternate together. Some fear that the lessons are now private. The other notable thing that might be Alternate-related is that each time when Nothing There escapes, there's always someone nearby, yelling and whistling that Nothing There stays close to yet avoids.
  • There is a strong hatred between YHVH and the Alternates. He hates how the Alternates have butchered and thrown their Earth into chaos, as the government attempts to cover it up. Couple that with the fact that they also destroyed their version of God's message, and you got one strong burning hatred. The Alternates on the other hand are cocky and frequently mock Him, especially "Gabriel", the one YHVH hates the most for being Satan himself and pretending to be Gabriel.
  • The Alternates have very much taken advantage of the Mandela Magazine made by Sr Pelo. 6 has spread it around every place with a functioning screen, spreading disinformation about the Alternates intentionally. The less bright gods see the video as an accurate representation of the abominations' nature, and have attempted to defeat them using the methods shown. Let's just say they were surprised when the Alternates were not threatened by guns, be easily scared off, throw them a party or just act zany. They also did not expect that 6 was both the guy in the TV and the pizza delivery man, and the fact that the Preacher is a separate creature. How did the Alternates repay the creator of this video? By tormenting him whilst cornering him in his own temple so he can make more of course! Sr Pelo has now gone insane multiple times and developed a fear of anything being in the dark.
"I swear, if I see one more dumbass try to poke those things in the eyes, I'm gonna freak." - Sr Pelo upon witnessing Skid, Pump and Ooga Booga all meet their fate in a row after poking N in the eyes.
  • Carrion has had some run-ins with Alternates before. It was confused by the M.A.D effect they had, which made it more paranoid, insane, along with being aware of [REDACTED]. The Monster preferred to steer clear of the Alternates' path after failing to consume them, and can be found attempting to consume various gods which could be deemed "resistant" to the Alternates' ability to inflict M.A.D upon their victims. Though, it is unknown if Carrion holds any negative feelings towards the demons, or just trying to consume them as a part of its endless desire to eat. But considering how there is a possibility it gains the desire of whatever it consumes, some believe that it may become much more sinister than it already is if it actually succeeded in consuming an Alternate...
  • Upon learning of the Alternates and how the one on the top was Satan, Rosemary feared them, scared of her having to go through being raped by Satan again. The Alternates knew of this and took great advantage of it. Constantly knocking on her door while yelling at her in the voice of her husband Guy, silently and sneakily cornering her in the middle of the night whilst leading her to believe it was simply claustrophobia, randomly having faces of the cultists while watching her from the dark, and finally, showing up right in front of her and pinning her down off long periods of time. What results is not rape, but Woodhouse offing herself due to being inflicted with M.A.D. After each death, the cycle restarts. But Rosemary has noticed this, and, while extremely paranoid like Alternates want her to be, she usually has decently powered god guarding her from them. Though this doesn't always work out, considering how the Alternates are known to be stealthy.
  • Some have suspicions that Stanley and 6 are one in the same, both having some level of power over technology. After a new tape was discovered, titled "Vol. 4", it seems like this theory holds some weight. At the very least, 6 could be copying Stanley every once in a while...or Stanley being much, much more deformed and disgusting than what meets the eye. Stanley and 6 both deny this, but it could easily be taken as 6 trying to keep up his ruse. Either way, they both are working to the same goal and it wouldn't matter much if they were the same.
  • Chernabog and the Alternates seem to get along well, as well as two aggressive evil forces can be together. "Gabriel" has allowed Chernabog to command the lower Alternates on occasion, but this permission usually doesn't last long as Chernabog always attempts to kill a few Alternates to permanently make them his minions, which he fails to do so. Despite that, they still work together as to go on with their plans to defeat common enemies. Sometimes "Gabriel" rewards Chernabog some souls of those who have succumbed to M.A.D, but other than that, they're partnership is purely professional. The Alternates themselves who are commanded by Chernabog usually do not mind, but when the lord of darkness gets a bit hostile, they are not afraid to fight back.
  • The Alternates have spoke a bit with Melkor and Damien Thorn. While they rarely get to meet due to the fact that the Alternates are usually never seen in broad daylight, when they do, it becomes a meeting of planning whatever the most evil, dastardly, and destructive thing man could not even comprehend. Whilst the lesser Alternates just sit back, make a few comments here and there, "Gabriel" and 6 frequently as the ones making plans. Despite Melkor's status, "Gabriel" shows absolutely no fear when talking back to him, overturning his demands, and mock him. This usually results in the conversations becoming quite heated, with the two threatening to kill each other. Damien Thorn on the other hand seems to be perfectly calm and fine when talking to his kin, even when in serious danger over some small dispute. Whether it be the fact that most of the Alternates are technically his siblings, that he has enough entities to defend him, or something else is unknown. Whatever it is, the talks are sometimes unsuccessful, but still yield some worth assuming that it's the reason as to why they keep happening.
  • The various Satans of the Pantheon find "Gabriel" extremely hard to work with, seeing as how he keeps on insulting them, making fun of them, and constantly shoving his victory over God in their faces. While "Gabriel" does refrain sometimes such as when interacting with Dis, he is an absolute jackass when speaking to other Satans such as the one that lost paradise, or Lucifer. Whilst they do tolerate him most do the time (most of them learned the hard way that they did NOT enjoy being flooded with Alternates), he does sometimes get his face (when he has one) bashed in. Even then, they still work together due to the fact that, admittedly, "Gabriel" is very helpful.
  • Poor Lucifer is the absolute laughing stock to the Alternates. They don't even drive him insane, they just mercilessly bully him. The game designing demon is constantly kicked around, laughed at, and essentially treated like living garbage. Some say that "Gabriel"'s laugh in Vol. 4 is actually taken from the audio of when he saw Lucifer for the first time and not his actual laugh at the time. Lucifer is afraid to even leave his temple now while the Alternates out, fearing what they may do to him.
  • The house of Machinery and Technology try their very hardest to keep the Alternates at bay, due to their ability to tamper with modern technology. They install brand new and specialized firewalls and anti viruses, hire moderators and admins, and the like just to make sure not a single Alternate gets in and screws the whole damn place up. Even the house itself seems to be hostile to them, trying it's very best to obstruct their movement within it. The few times when an Alternate has managed to get in have resulted in the whole place going haywire until someone manages to kick the demon out.
  • The inhabitants of the subhouse of Angels are swift and powerful when it comes to taking down an Alternate. As soon as one enters the area, they are immediately met by a barrage of holy thunder. When an Alternate does seem to manage to evade their attacks, each deity is inspected to see if they still have a holy aura (except the Satan there, of course), and if not, are immediately attacked. Some believe that this is simply them protecting their territory. Some believe this is done out fear that that the Alternates will take over the house just like they did with earth.
  • "Gabriel" only:
    • When "Gabriel" found out that the another, not dead Gabriel was in the Pantheon, he prepared to defeat him and take on his identity. Little did he know that Gabriel himself also knew a little trickery... most of the times when "Gabriel" attempts to kill Gabriel, he is met with a rebuttal of his own medicine, deception. Heck, after one of the many battles "Gabriel" and Gabriel had, Gabriel proceeded to take on "Gabriel"'s identity and ruled the Alternates a bit, having some fun making them unwittingly walk into doom or take on disguises which could be easily foiled. Though there are a few times where "Gabriel" somehow succeeds, the deities always watch him very closely, waiting for a too sinister of a trick or too many pranks involving near-perfect disguises.
"Gabriel": I know what you love, I know what you fear.
Gabriel: Oh, so you must know that my greatest fear is having that haircut. Gabriel points at "Gabriel"'s head.
    • Archangel Micheal was extremely furious upon finding out about the Alternates. The ones he hates the most is "Gabriel". Satan wearing the skin of his fellow angel, Gabriel. He was even more enraged upon hearing about all the atrocities "Gabriel" did, such as murdering the real angel, subjecting Jesus to a Fate Worse than Death and ruining God's message. That said, "Gabriel" knows well to avoid Micheal, but still frequently taunts him. He does occasionally make attempts to kill him, though he fails most of the time due to the support Micheal has from others, and even if he does, he does not find Micheal dead for long (in his perception of time at least. You'd be surprised by how little a few years are to beings his age) because of the House of Life and Vitality. But other than that, "Gabriel" is simply another monster that Archangel Micheal hates more than average.
    • When the Alternates had found about Noah, they were surprised. Even more, when they found out he was a healthy strong man. "Gabriel" took the most interest, considering the fact that he was the only one of the group to have ever met Noah. He frequently comes to deceive him, knowing how he still has influence in the Trope Pantheon. He can much more easily give him M.A.D compared to the Noah of their world due to the fact that this Noah isn't exactly sane. When "Gabriel" succeeds, Noah frequently preaches on twisted versions of the Bible, Torah and Quran. Though, the Pantheon usually quickly catches on and attempts to help him regain his sanity. When Noah isn't affected by M.A.D, he openly denounces the Alternates. But every night, he still checks under his bed for "Gabriel" in fear that he was waiting to pounce and drive him insane.
    • When the Chosen Four got wind of "Gabriel's" plan, they saw it as another repeat of Giygas' plot to destroy the world. As such, they vowed to be prepared for the event where he sends the Alternates to kill them. As far as Ness, Jeff, and Poo are concerned, their top priority is equipping Paula with better defensive gear, as Paula is at the top of "Gabriel's" shitlist due to her prayers defeating a similar creature of evil.
  • 6 only:
    • The Intruder is permanently banned from the house of Childhood and Adolescence, considering his history of abducting thousands of children within short amounts of time. It doesn't help that his favorite method is something kids sit in front of a lot, TV. Special security measures were placed just because of him, purposefully low-tech and primitive ways of stopping him stretch across the halls of Child Archetypes and Child Behavior. There is a "TV break time" each day, which is made to make sure 6 cannot enter children's temples when he is active. As soon as Kevin had found out about the Intruder, he was not afraid, begging the Intruder to come after him. The older gods, those who have seen what 6 does without being at risk, keep on telling that 6 is not like what he faced before. This annoys the boy, wanting to move freely. He appreciates the ingenuity that goes into the specialized traps though, and has helped in making a few of them.
  • N only:
    • The Thing is considered a "weak, deformed pitiful failure" by the Alternates, more specifically the one who encountered it. When it first made contact with them, it was with an N, hiding in the darkness of the Thing's temple. One would assume that the Thing would've immediately absorbed him, but nothing like that. All it resulted in was the poor Thing gnawing and clawing at N, only to be met with strong hit to one of its vitals each time. Once the Thing had enough and couldn't continue, N left the area, deeming the Thing not worth impersonating. The Thing did follow N, but they quickly turned into a wolf and ran near the house of Demons so the Thing would instantly be incinerated while N would be left alone by those who do not care for wolves or know their true demonic nature. Some are disturbed by this encounter, if the Thing can't absorb an Alternate, then what the heck is an Alternate made up of?
    • The Oni, while it hunts in a similar to manner to N's, N looks down open it because "it still reeks of Man". When they first met, they immediately slammed into each other. The result was simply the Oni ramming into N, who would only whisper a few words, causing the abomination to go insane and promptly kill itself. N on the other hand was unscathed. It did take some notes though, interested in how the Oni managed to hide in places that were near impossible to even be in. Considering how the Alternates may or may not have less or more dimensions than 3, some have became paranoid that an Alternate can now be hiding anywhere. Some gods have brushed it off, claiming that the Oni is still manageable and that the Alternates are already damn near undetectable, being able to hide in plain sight somehow without disguises, so there is no point in worrying in their opinion.
  • Stanley only:
    • The imaginary group of friends of the Pantheon once saw Stanley as a promising, great ally who just wanted kids to experience happiness. Oh how far it was from the truth, they still think about how Stanley even gained their trust when he made abominations that took children's lives. Stanley, however seems to be blind to this hatred and keeps on trying to befriend them. His show is constantly airing around them, the same prerecorded words played with a few differences. It has gotten to the point that all of them, Bloo, Wilt, Eduardo and Coco just immediately ring a bell to tell either Durkon Thundershield or Sonia Strumm to shut it off.
    • He frequently has "crossover episodes" with SCP-993 and Pennywise. Pennywise usually is an actor in the episodes, while Stanley or Bobble host it depending on who's show the episode is on. They teach the secrets of existence, the torture of the damned within hell, the gruesome tragedies of war, and other wonderful things of the world! Pennywise gives the kids a good scare and a lesson about safety whilst walking alone outside late at night. "Remember to run in a straight line when being chased. Throw your phone away so you attacker will pick it up instead of chase you and go back home to use it for their own purposes. Once you do that, stand very, very, very still." What great advice. They are currently trying to start a GoFundMe to broadcast a new show where there great adventures, life lessons, and messages will be spread around the Trope Pantheons!
  • The Preacher only:
    • Despite its appearance, the Preacher is meant to be copying a nun. At least it's trying to. When it reached the Trope Pantheons, it wanted to get a good idea of what the local nuns were so it could kill them and and attempt to take up their identities. Let's just say it was very, very, very confused upon encountering Kiara. To it, she was no nun. But after watching and stalking her more...it had slowly learned that she was demonic. This sparked some interest, not a sexual one, but a malevolent one. To the Preacher, Kiara would be an easy target, and a convenient one too. Not much restrictions, and no holy attitude to take up (what qualifies as "holy" the to the Preacher is definitely not Kiara). Add that with the many other deities she lures in using sexuality...it would be very easy to drive many, many people more insane than they usually become when following Kiara. Kiara herself on the other hand has little to no knowledge about the Preacher, mistaking it for yet another admirer from afar in the rare occasions she would even notice it. She has tried to approach the creature various times, but all it resulted in was it disappearing. The Preacher, as of now, is simply waiting for the right chance. For Kiara's sex cult to reach its peak, so it can mold it into an even more twisted version of itself that furthers the Alternates' plans.
  • Thatcher's Stalker only:
    • Interestingly, and perhaps unfortunately, the Slenderman itself and a stalker who just so happens to be an alternate seem to be on good terms. At least a twisted far cry of it. They have a habit of stalking the same target at once, with Thatcher's Stalker chasing down the poor victim, whether it be one of the poor fools mentioned on this profile or someone else, right to the Slenderman, when the victim is promptly murdered. It has gone on ever since they first made contact. Some wonder if the stalker has somehow driven Slenderman to do its bidding, that Slenderman groomed it to follow its orders, or if they actually are working together. Whatever it is, it has proven to be extremely effective. Technologically advanced gods are instantly taken down with little resistance, and even the greatest of survivors cannot triumph against this duo without going extremely insane, far more than a victim of Slenderman or M.A.D. Slenderman has interacted a bit with the other Alternates, but has stuck to just working with Thatcher's Stalker.
  • "Woman" only:
    • Glenn Quagmire is very, very, very well known for the fact that he'll screw anything that's female. A certain alternate has taken advantage of this multiple times. Quagmire frequently gets calls from what seems to be random women about casual sex, which he used to accept. Little did he know that all those calls were from one alternate, and that the location he was given was merely different names for the temple of Analog Horror. He fell for the trick waaaayyyyy too many times he should've, at one point one of the calls was literally just "woman" giving him M.A.D and Glenn blindly listening to it. Eventually he learned his lesson, never answering the calls. Well, kind of. As long as it's a different voice and phone number, his brain in his pants is the one thinking. When Quagmire screams in pain, horror, fear, and terror in the temple of the Alternates, the gods nearby simply ignore it. He's had many chances to fully learn to avoid what he calls a pure nightmare and "one heck of a trap in both ways".
  • "Cesar" only:
    • The alternate mimicking the man known as Cesar is quite known for taking advantage of friendship to reach its goals. So, when it came across the OMORI friend group, it saw an opportunity. Using the identity of their dead friend, Mari and standing in the distance as a way to lure one of them in, then killing the poor child who just so happened to be the one to be the one lured. "Cesar" would then take upon their form, and return to the friend group. It frequently takes advantage of the resulting attention, since, to the OMORI friend group, it was just a friend who went missing and came back. It would invite everyone one by one, and slaughter them. This went on for a bit until the OMORI friend group eventually caught on to what was happening. Needless to say, they are extremely afraid when one of them goes missing. No need for even more trauma with a supernatural nightmare monster mixed in.

      "nothing is worth the risk."

    The Evil Entity
The Evil Entity, the Unholy Unexpected Eldritch Being (The Nibiru Entity)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_evil_entity.png
The Entity's true form.
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: His coffin
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portifolio: The Cause of Everything Bad in The Series, Corrupts Anything Around It, Doing This While Still Sealed, Deep, Evil Voices, Hams It Up Like Nobody's Business, Omnicidal Maniac, Responsible For All The Costumed Weirdos, Completely Evil, One of The Darkest Villains In The Franchise
  • Domains: Elder Gods, Corruption, Destruction, Vileness
  • Herald: Professor Pericles, his top minion.
  • High Priest: S O U L
  • Allies: Molag Bal, The GUAD, Bill Cypher, The Dark Matter Horde, Solaris, Nyarlahotep, Shuma-Gorath, Yapool
  • Enemies: Mystery Inc. (Including Scrappy Doo), The Bedtime Stories Crew, The Investigation Team, The Ghost Stories Gang, H.P Lovecraft, Dr. Strange, The Good Ultraman Deities, Kirby
  • Unimpressed With: Dark Gaia
  • Crystal Cove was a weird place. As the Scooby Doo gang could attest to, the place was crawling with weirdos in costumes looking to make a quick buck, as well as useless adults too busy with their lives. It came to its natural climax, however, when the devious parrot Prof. Pericles aimed to release his "master" from the depths of the town. Eventually, he managed to free him, and the result was The Evil Entity (Often called The Nibiru Entity), an evil member of a race of benevolent Eldritch Abominations who seemed to destroy the universe, the thing responsible for the state of the town, and unlike the gang's previous costumed freaks, was far more powerful than anything they had faced so far, something that no-one could've seen coming. Eventually, after it destroys Crystal Cove and eats everyone there, the gang manages to destroy him, erasing him from existence and undoing any corruption he had done in the process.
  • One day, the gang had just busted a mystery caused by a mysterious villain, which was business as usual. The odd thing was, this particular villain was awfully ruthless by their standards, even nearly blowing up the House of Celebration out of spite. When they finally caught the villain, they were naturally shocked to find out that it was none other than Scrappy Doo of all people. Whats more, he seemed outright traumatized by what had transpired. While the gang was wondering what had come over him, seeing how he also had no memory of the crimes he committed, Fred suddenly had a worrying idea, one that they had to visit a certain Dr. Strange to confirm. And indeed, the doctor confirmed that the worst had happened: The Evil Entity had arrived. Thankfully, it seemed to be still sealed, but considering the damage he was capable of when he was before, it wasn't very comforting to them. The gang is now ready to take on anything that the Entity could throw at them, though Scooby and Shaggy would at least rather confront it with a tank than deal with it in person.
  • How is he in the Pantheon? You can thank Molag Bal for that. He was thoroughly impressed by the fact that a villain like him can be in such a lighthearted franchise, not to mention how unexpected he was, and thus, with the help of a few of his more powerful allies, managed to recreate the Evil Entity. However, there was a catch: he would ascend still being sealed in his sarcophagus, and would once again have to manipulate his way to freedom. To compensate, he gained a new power: the ability to manifest a hallucination of his true form, useful for more direct communication. The Entity, for the most part, accepted these conditions, as it had been able to free itself before, and surely it can do it again, especially with more evil deities around. And yes, he has considered that someone could put up a fight should he be freed, and is looking for a way to rectify that by making some allies.
  • While he's still technically allies with Bal, he would later find much more fitting allies in the form of the GUAD, an alliance of similarly omnicidal beings hell bent on destroying everything. While The Entity would rather ravage the universe by himself, he nonetheless realizes that having allies in a world where heroes are just as powerful as villains might be a good idea in the long run. The GUAD themselves were happy to accept him into their ranks for the most part, though the whole "Being sealed deep underground" thing showcases a problem with actually destroying things.
  • One such ally is Bill Cypher, a psychopathic being bent on turning the world into his own playground. Seeing how they were both currently incorporeal beings looking for a physical body, they decided that working together might be the best idea for now, though seeing how they have different goals, one could imagine that a huge fight would break out if they do succeed. Naturally, it has made enemies with Dipper and Mabel, and while corrupting their pig Waddles probably wouldn't help him too much, he senses great potential in Gompers of all people, stating that there's something strange about that goat, something Bill agrees about.
  • Its MO is basically that it corrupts whatever mystery solving team steps foot near it, starting with the Team Pet and going up from there. This has made the Pantheon's many mystery solving teams unite against him:
    • The Investigation Team has dealt with beings as powerful, if not more, as the Entity, so it was no surprise when they started opposing him. In particular, it has shown an interest in Teddie, seeing how it's the closest thing to a Team Pet that the team has. He figures that if he can get his perverted personality out of the way, he could be a powerful agent. Teddie, naturally, wanted nothing to do with him, even after the Entity tried bribing him with the promise of a "Beautiful Wife to call your own".
    • He has also gained the attention of the Bedtime Story Crew, who at first were thrilled at the opportunity to document a being like him, especially considering its past as the Token Evil Teammate to the Annunaki. However, the thing was counting on them to be thinking this, as he then proceeded to slowly corrupt them into coming further and further into his sealing location while hiding it as a simple documentary. It wasn't until Mystery Inc. intervened that they snapped out of it, and made them realize just how bad of an idea it was to even acknowledge the thing existing, destroying the remaining footage they made of the documentary.
    • It had an... interesting interaction with the Ghost Stories crew. Or, rather, their cat, who's mind he invaded in order to corrupt him directly. The Entity though that corrupting what seemed to be the most normal Team Pet of the bunch he's encountered would be an easy task. It wasn't until he actually got around to corrupting it that he learned the truth: the cat was already possessed by a incredibly snarky demon, and one who had no interest in joining him. Or at least, thats what The Entity managed to get out of the interaction, as it was mostly just the demon insulting him and flipping him off. To say that the Entity was genuinely baffled by the interaction was an understatement. Doesn't help that the cat later told the rest of the crew, meaning that he had to deal with them as well.
  • Managed to make allies with The Dark Matter Horde, a horde of similarly terrifying beings in an otherwise lighthearted setting. It has promised them that he'll let them rule and corrupt whats left of the universe after he destroys it, something the Horde agreed upon. That would be fine for him, if it wasn't for the fact that their arch-nemesis was Kirby, a small puffball who's known for basically killing Elder Gods before breakfast. With this in mind, helped out by one of his more recent adventures hinting that his origin is far more cosmic than one would assume, has made the Entity genuinely worried. It has since put the puffball near the top of his priority list, alongside Mystery Inc. themselves.
  • Another being he's gained the interest of is Solaris, a cosmic being that was split into two versions of itself, Mephilis and Iblis. This is thanks to the fact that they too were erased from existence upon being defeated. The Entity has since lended his hand to helping the two become one again. It is not, however, impressed with Dark Gaia, who he condescendingly considers to be "An oversized earthworm who was defeated by a mortal and minimal outside help". And no, this has not endeared him to Dark Gaia in the slightest, knowing when someone is insulting it when it hears it.
  • Any cosmic horror would inevitably be compared to the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and The Entity was no exception, having been compared to a combination of Nyarlahotep and Yog-Sothoth. As expected, both of the entities have struck up an alliance, with Nyarly being fine with any way of devastating the universe, though he has entertained the idea of also freeing Yog, so that they, in his own words, "Tag-Team the universe with two elder gods, side by side!"
    • Because of this alliance, he has decided to visit their creator, Lovecraft himself, and thus manifested in his dreams one fateful night. In it, he boasts that the universe will be destroyed the second he's released, and promises that Lovecraft would be sparred if he pledges his allegiance to his cause, clearly not intending either following up on that promise, or taking no for an answer. To his alarm, however, Lovecraft was completely unimpressed with his threats, having heard that threat about a few hundred times already, and tore into the cosmic entity that it was nothing compared to his creations, or even the ones from the Pantheon, and is ultimately "An oversized earthworm who was defeated by some mortals and minimal outside help". It has never bothered the author ever again, although some gods could swear that rampant swearing could be heard underground that night.
  • While not quite dismissing him to the extent that Lovecraft did, Dr. Strange also doesn't consider The Evil Entity to be anything special, often taunting it with the nickname "Discount Shuma-Gorath". While he is perfectly willing to take action against the thing, expect Strange to be spewing out snarky insults in the process of fighting him.
    • What does have him concerned, however, is that the aforementioned nickname inspired him to seek out the aforementioned Shuma-Gorath, the extremely powerful (And somehow even hammier) elder god that's able to freak out Dormammu. Shuma, happy to discover new ways to screw over the universe, was delighted to help out The Entity with his plight. The Entity is a bit annoyed with Shuma constantly boasting about his power, but otherwise it's a worryingly stable alliance so far.
  • He has also made an alliance with the monster maker Yapool, who relishes in human despair and creates monstrous creatures out of said negative energy just to cause more misery. The Entity, who specializes in bringing the worst out of humans, has recently been lending a hand in creating a few of them, resulting In more dangerous creatures than ever before. As a result, this has gained the attention of Ultraman and his fellow deities, who are more than happy to lend a hand in stopping him, having faced threats of his scale before.

Intermediate Gods

    BEN
BEN, Unholy God of Internet Short Horror Stories
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d39ac4ca0986ac42b2b5eb99fd88b8de.png
  • Intermediate God... maybe.
  • Symbol: A disturbing Link Statue.
  • Theme: The Song of Healing. Played backwards.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Started the 'Creepypasta' Trend, Haunted Game Cartridges, Nightmare Fuel, Contagious A.I. (?), Eldritch Abomination (?), Sealed Evil in a Game Cartridge, Bleeding Into Reality, Nothing Is Scarier, Worsening the Emotional Torture, Big Bad
  • Domains: Fear, Technology, Otherness, Nostalgia, Water(?)
  • High Priests: The Crew of the Laughingstock and Zalgo
  • Allies: Majora (surprisingly enough), Slender Man, Giygas, Phazon, Spooky, SCP-993, White Face
  • Rivals: The Outsider, Richard, AM, .GIFfany, Pony Island
  • Enemies: All other The Legend of Zelda deities, good and evil and those from other media with an accompanying Creepypasta, (Insert Name Here), Lain Iwakura, Mr. Rogers, Noah Kaiba, The Lyoko Warriors, Sombra, King Kong, Ben Tennyson, AM's five victims, The SCP Foundation, The Protectors of the Plot Continuum
  • Unknown Relationship with: Alex Mercer, most Outer Gods, The Sleeper
  • BEN is an enigmatic figure. His nature, actions, ultimate goal and origin; all complete mysteries. Many gods and goddesses offer widely differing explanations for the creature, but there is one thing they all agree on; at some point in time, a boy named Ben drowned. (for a sinister purpose of a moon-worshipping cult...)
  • BEN appeared in the Pantheons soon after an odd event in the House of Gaming: a mortal follower playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask noted that the game had started to glitch up, referring to him as "BEN". When he resets the game, he was greeted with the words, "You have met a terrible fate, haven't you?" He mentioned hearing the Song of Healing played backwards before passing out. Since then, that copy of Majora's Mask has been confiscated and quarantined in a temple under Hermaeus Mora's supervision. That hasn't stopped the entity inside that copy from getting out into the corporeal world...
  • While BEN’s domain is Creepypasta in general, his specialty is the corruption of innocence; that is to say, creepy and unsettling takes on old, nostalgic pieces of entertainment. Suicidemouse.avi, Squidward's Suicide, Dead Bart and all manner of ‘lost episodes’ and ‘game hacks’ spring from BEN.
    • This ended up gaining the eternal enmity from the The Legend of Zelda deities, good and evil due to BEN tainting a copy of one of their titles to terrorize anyone hapless enough to play it. Other deities, like Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob and Bart Simpson are also horrified that BEN's influence has reached their shows as well. The GUAG is currently trying to find more effective methods to keep BEN's said influence at bay. (Insert Name Here), being every Creepypasta protagonist ever as well as the reader has every reason to fully oppose BEN.
    • To spite the Zelda deities even further, BEN often appears himself as Link with a creepy face or the Link Statue. Part of it because his followers always see him like that and part of it is just for screwing with them.
  • There is one Zelda deity that BEN can find a footing with; the God of Evil Masks, Majora. Like BEN, Majora also likes to torture others for amusement and they have sinister plans for their victims, though BEN is a lot more secretive about his. Majora is disappointed that he can't truly control BEN like a puppet, but he became ecstatic once again since his alliance with Yuuki Terumi since he found another dark entity to relate to and the feeling is mutual for BEN. Who knows what kind of horrible fates they would bring to the entire Pantheons...
    • Being a fellow entity with fame from the creepypasta circle, Slender Man is seen with BEN a lot. Let's not think about their meetings. BEN also joins Spooky as her new scarer and attraction in her Haunted House because she gave him more opportunities to terrorize more people. And Giygas also has an Odd Friendship with BEN, probably because their true forms are incomprehensible. Not everybody wants to know what BEN's true form is...
    • Other malevolent entities BEN finds kinship in is White Face (for assaulting the player directly by haunting his game) and Phazon (a fellow creature capable of corruption) after Majora introduced him to them. BEN on his own met SCP-993 who also corrupts childhood innocence to the point of evil. Everybody started fearing what would happen if BEN teams up with or uses his newfound brethren...
  • Being an enigmatic entity, BEN gained rivals in The Outsider and Richard. All three have their own unknown agendas (though BEN's is easy to guess) and who knows, maybe they'll use each other for such...
    • Both he and AM have a penchant of torturing others, though BEN wants the suffering out of amusement while AM does so out of sheer malice. Due to the difference in expectations, they became rivals instead. That hasn't gain BEN brownie points from AM's own victims who see him as no better; they try to stay away from BEN just so that he'll never get any ideas of haunting them.
    • Very rare, but BEN does get compared to the Outer Gods due to his unfathomability and also capable of driving his victims mad. The Outer Gods hasn't said anything about him yet. Considering that The Sleeper also corrupt its surroundings, a select few began fearing of a combination between the two...
    • The SCP Foundation has been working with Hermaeus Mora (albeit the alliance is uneasy) on containing BEN completely, causing him to hate them for stopping his hauntings. The Protectors of the Plot Continuum also hate BEN for not only his usual threat but spawning endless terrible OCs that serve to fulfill every horror fangirl's wet dream which some are trying to intrude into the Pantheons. Surprisingly, even BEN agrees he doesn't like Fangirls too much.
  • Being a creature born from The Internet, he has gained the ire of Lain Iwakura and the Lyoko Warriors who sees him as no better than XANA. Noah Kaiba is horrified that a threat more worse than him actually exists, and Sombra not only sees him as an obstacle to her plans but a horror as well.
    • .GIFfany sees him as competition since they both get out of their game to reach their victims and the Lucifer of Pony Island is also jealous of BEN for that reason. Nobody wants to think about BEN and .GIFfany assimilating into something worse...
  • Mr. Rogers finds him everything he stood against since he wants happiness from remembering childhoods, not ruining them. Ben Tennyson is FURIOUS that he shares a name with an irredeemable evil to the point of unintentional mix-ups; not to mention having creepypastas of his series from BEN's influence.
    • Has a very confusing beef with King Kong. Probably has to do with April Fools' Day...
  • Alex Mercer, it seems, has something to do with whatever is happening in BEN's universe. Mercer himself has not been reached for comment on this matter.
  • While BEN is biding his time for an opportunity, the other gods try to diminish his threat by bringing up the horrible Narmy memes coming out of terrible creepypasta like 'hyper-realistic blood' and 'WHO WAS PHONE?!'. Even BEN finds them amusing, but later on annoying as the jokes escalate.

    Madotsuki
Madotsuki, Goddess of Explorer Horror

  • Intermediate Goddess potentially Overdeity if she were to wake up and in her Evil form
  • Symbol: Her shirt pattern
  • Theme Songs: Yume Nikki's Title Screen Theme or the Save Theme
  • Alignment: True Neutral, with some hints of Evil
  • Portfolio: Eyes Always Shut, Desensitized to Horror, Never says a Word, Hikikomori, Unknown Age
  • Domains: Dreams, Surrealism, Horror, Knives
  • Heralds: Sabitsuki, Usotsuki, Chie, Me, etc.
  • Allies: Frisk, Ness, Kirby, Sayori (DDLC), Sumireko, The Wind Fish, Steven Universe
  • Enemies: Giygas, Monika, Freddy Krueger, Atropos, Ruvik, Mara, Hypno, Vaermina
  • Tolerates: Haruto Tsukishiro, Soldier #25954, The Inception Crew, NiGHTS, SCP-990, Azathoth
  • Opposes: Darkrai, Ysera, Sigmund Freud
  • Opposed by: Sans
  • A mysterious young girl who spends most of her time dreaming. That's not to say that she's unconscious, however, given that the Pantheon itself appears to be her dream at the moment. She is a silent individual, with no clear goal whatsoever. She is usually seen exploring the surroundings without interacting much with anyone, although she has no qualms about stabbing anyone who gets in her way or, sometimes, on a whim.
  • Her personal dream world is known to be a dark and strange place, often featuring surrealistic landscape (even more than most of the house of Dreams), gore and sometimes downright Freudian imagery. Despite this, it seems to be where she is the most at ease, and certain deities have found certain places in the dream world to be relaxing indeed.
    • Several deities have shown interest in the more dark side of her dreams, including the House of Slaughter visiting the Eyeball World and Freud visiting places such as the Numbers World or the Infinite Road. Madotsuki usually reacts violently to anyone entering her domain without her permission, including well-meaning entities. This puts her at odds against most deities capable of manipulating dreams.
  • Seems to dislike Monika, due to her using her powers to force her own friends to suicide, something she has almost experienced in the past. On the other hand, she seems to sympathize with Sayori, even if the latter finds the little girl to be a bit off-putting.
  • Due to their similar origins and status as Heroic Mimes, she is often seen with Ness and Frisk. Notably, she opposes Giygas alongside Ness, due to the abomination reminding her of a certain trauma hidden deep within her dream. While Frisk generally appreciates her, they are worried about her tendencies of stabbing monsters on a whim and thus try to keep her away from their friends from the Underground.
    • Flowey has taken interest in the girl, due to her similarity with Chara. However, Madotsuki ignores him at best, if not outright attempts to murder him.
    • For the same reasons, Sans is very wary of her, especially when she is around other monsters.
  • Steven projected into her dreams by accident, and upon bumping in to her, immediately apologized for walking into her dreams without her permission. Surprisingly, she accepted it, and the two ended up becoming friends. When Steven's asleep, they like to race each other on occasion, Steven using his rocket shoes and Madotsuki using her fast-travel effects.
  • Madotsuki is extremely protective of her dream journal. Not only does it keeps all of her memories of her dream, but last time it was destroyed, she went on a rampage and almost destroyed the entire dream world. Needless to say that she doesn’t want it to happen again.
  • She seems to tolerate the presence of other dream-walkers in her own dreams, such as Haruto Tsukishiro and Agent # 25954, as long as they don’t interfere too much with her own dreams.
    • Due to both being isolationist individuals who escaped reality through their dreams, she seems to respect Sumireko quite a lot, with them even visiting each other’s dreams (which is Gensokyo for Sumireko) on occasion. Yukari is keeping an eye out for both, given their frequent travels through the barrier.
    • She absolutely hates Freddy, due to his habit of invading her dreams and attacking her in them. However, Madotsuki is not as vulnerable as most of the killer's victims, so these encounters often end up as a brawl between the two.
  • Madotsuki finds Kirby to be absolutely adorable, despite not expressing it so clearly. She allows him in her Dream World from times to time, where he will usually copy the ability of a few denizens to match Madotsuki's effects.
  • Will react extremely violently against anyone with a history of rape or anyone wielding strong sexual imagery, for some unknown reasons. Thus, she tends to avoid the House of Love, particularly the Subhouse of Lust.
  • As Madotsuki was dreaming herself into this world, and due to her Dream World now being connected to the Pantheon, it is believed among many deities that Madotsuki waking up could cause the temporary destruction of the universe. Parallels have been drawn between the girl, the Blind Idiot and the Wind Fish. Precautions have thus been taken to ensure that nothing would cause her to wake up, whether willingly or not.
    • Her status has drawn the attention of the GUAD as a potential tool for the destruction of the world and of the Magical Girl Sisterhood as a potential new member, on top of keeping her in check. Madotsuki hasn’t shown any desire to join either group, however.
    • She has actually been seen in company of Azathoth quite often. No one knows how she manages to keep her sanity intact in its presence, although some theorize that she simply can’t see it due to having her eyes shut all the time. She also seems to be on good terms with the Wind Fish, due to facing her own nightmares in her dreams. Although unlike him, Madotsuki would rather stay in her dreams than wake up, so being trapped in her own dreams wouldn’t have bothered her as much.
  • By taking advantage of the fact that she is constantly dreaming, Hypno once attempted to eat her dreams. Not only did they taste awfully bitter, but Madotsuki, being still conscious, retliated immediately. The two still cannot stay in each other's presence for long to this day.

There's a legend around here. A killer buried, but not dead. A curse on Crystal Lake, a death curse. Jason Voorhees' curse. They say he died as a boy, but he keeps coming back. Few have seen him and lived. Some have even tried to stop him. No one can. People forget he's down there, waiting...

  • Portfolio: A kid who seeks revenge on him and his mother and turned into a slasher killer, a dedicated survivalist while he was human, rumored to appear every Friday the 13th, mentioned as a legend, then turned to life horror figure, absolutely does not die especially when he becomes a revenant, grows more sinister by age, from a poor child with a skull deformity to a killer of about 200+ in kills, uses the camp to his advantage, mentally retarded but can improvise, loves his mom throughout his life, not malicious but has a childlike mindset, has a general fear of water all around, has three variations (Slasher, Relentless, Unstoppable)

  • Enemies: Anybody who steps foot at Camp Crystal Lake, Laurie Strode, Sidney Prescott, Ash Williams, the Kombatants (especially Liu Kang)
  • Camp Crystal Lake. The lake was once occupied by many people back in the day and a playground for children, has been abandoned and left empty due to a few incidents. Legends say that a relentless man who was thought to be dead emerges in the camp every Friday the 13th, that those who encounter him in the camp disappear, never to be seen again and those that do escape, which is few and far between, live to tell the tale. A death curse, as some would say. This was known as Jason Voorhees' curse, the man that would terrorize anyone who visited the lake and then some. His legend would come true following an incident in the reopening of the camp in 1979 and it would all turn to hell after that, as the curse of the killer ravaged the teenager visitors to leave the camp alone. Despite the first incident leaving one person alive, the sequence of events after the first incident would become the precedent for the level of horror and killing the masked killer would pursue against his victims, thus the legend born.
    • The first event was not done by the real Jason, believe it or not. That was done by his mother, Pamela Voorhees, who harbored a great grudge against the counselors who were supposed to watch over her son, mind you Jason had a lot of mental issues when he was a kid. That same time was when Jason drowned in the lake, likely due to the supervisors' incompetence. This very act drove his mother on edge and murdered the people who were supposed to watch over her child as well as having a desire to close Camp Crystal Lake by any means necessary and rid of visitors while also fueling her paranoia, grief, and desire for revenge. The opening of the camp by 1979 made her return, this time with murderous intentions as the people have not learned from the camp's history. While the event marked another tragedy for those keeping up with the place, Pamela's death would all be in vain, as it turns out that Jason is living on the other side of the forest, safe and sound, well until his mother was confirmed dead. The death of the only person that cared for him would be the catalyst for the next series of killings, all of which would cement the killer himself: Jason Voorhees.
  • Jason's life was never a pleasant one, even when he was a child, due to his disabilities that made him different from the rest of the children. He was described back then having a skull deformity known as Hydrocephalus, thus having a larger shape on his head. This was also on top of the problem of him mentally retarded, hence his childlike behaviour even past his age. His mom brought him to Camp Crystal Lake due to her being hired as a cook and unable to find anyone to take care of a young Jason at home. That brought with it a host of other problems as the kids constantly bullied him for being dumb (more of him staying with his mom than with others), combined with the people supposed to watch over him instead leaving for casual sex, had the bullies leave him to drown in the lake. He did survive, but Pamela's mental state got worse and resulted to the first string of murders. It was only after her mother's death that Jason took the moniker of a masked killer and kill all to please her mother and protect Camp Crystal Lake.
    • A series of mass murders began on the summer of 1984; some would consider this to be Jason's debut as the eponymous killer after the death of his mother. It all started with the killing his mother's killer, the supposed Final Girl. Then 1984 rolls around and a new group of teenagers are hanging around the Camp, with him stalking them and determined to kill the trespassers. He kills a cop and a drunkard, as his second and third victim respectively, then murders the six-would be counselors as planned. Encountered by another teenager who discovered the shrine of Pamela Voorhees, she would discover Jason's first weakness: his dedication to his mother and was confused when said teenager wore his mother's clothes. After killing one of her friends, he disappeared and was nowhere to be found, until months later where he would be sighted once more on Higgins Haven, near Crystal Lake where another set of murders occurred. After the same killing spree, he was found supposedly "dead" in a morgue alongside his 10 victims where he arose for one last streak of bloody murders, meeting his end at the hands of Tommy Jarvis. 26 bloody murders were added to Jason's 10-body killing spree, totaling to 36 kills in the span of one year. That would however not be the last of his appearance.
    • With Tommy Jarvis under massive hallucinations of the already killed Jason as well as becoming a near copycat, he decided to face his fear and make peace with the already dead corpse of the killer but was suddenly resurrected when a lightning strike revived him, creating another series of murders within Camp Crystal Lake. With Tommy forced to find a way to kill him once more, he lured him into the lake and decided to drown him and succeed in doing so, making the lake a water prison for Jason while he brought with him 18 people to his body count and creating a string of resurrections. Years later, he would be brought back to life once again by a telepath by the name of Tina Williams who accidentally brought him back to life, triggering another series of murders until their eventual confrontation, leading to Jason bringing 15 more victims while brought back in the lake to drown once more, and was brought to life again by electricity, taking his killing spree to Manhattan of all places and adding 17 victims to his total kills. Even his death by chemical drowning did not stop him as he is later brought back to life, and his mask merged with his face, eventually gaining the power of possession and killed some more victims on the way to getting a new body. However, this time around, after his death he would be placed in hell and would stay in a perfect recreation of Camp Crystal Lake where he would kill his would be targets, had he not been interrupted by the claws of Freddy Krueger who used him for his new plan.
    • The rest of Jason's history can be described as "What if Jason Voorhees encountered Freddy Krueger and Ash Williams?" This is the best summary for the next events after being dragged to hell as Jason and Freddy would fight as the Springwood Slasher had plans to use Jason as a catalyst for his return. Despite his best efforts and his exploitation of Jason's weaknesses, he won and decapitated Freddy's head but not before the latter stayed in Jason's conscience, where he manipulated him to using the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and attracted Ash Williams, the hunter of the Deadites. With the combined efforts of the survivors of Jason's murders, the FBI and Ash, they stopped the now merged Freddy/Jason, empowered by the Necronomicon and the Deadites and freed all the souls accumulated by the two, including the depowered Freddy. As Jason is defeated, the voice of his mother confirms that Jason will never die and by 2008, the words bore fruit as his body was recovered and heavily experimented on for about 450 years, where he would make a resurgence on The Grendel. To put it simply, he was revived in the future, got more kills, and was thwarted, this time for good. And for those counting the kill count of Jason's history? The count could be about 200 victims, perhaps more by the time he was discovered years later in the future.
  • The ascension of such horror legend was inevitable. With all the various deities that represent all kinds of horror from ghosts, zombies and eldritch beings, slasher villains were among the missing bunch, though this may attribute to the lack of popularity for such an old genre. The Gates of the Pantheon was not even where Jason arrived, instead he came from hell, where the hellish lords proposed on bringing a menace to terrify the Pantheons. When the lords arrived at a throne made up of dead bodies, most of which could be the killer's victims, they found their perfect match, the old legend known as Jason Voorhees was the person the demonic entities sought, and a sight did they behold as the Pantheon was shook in fear of the curse coming back to life. In addition, his temple, Camp Crystal Lake, has been established in the Pantheon, making it a restricted area under the fear that several visitors and even some Pantheonic deities may enter the Camp, unaware that anyone who enters the place will become the next victims of Jason's long list of murders.
  • In the world of horror (or more specifically the film type), Jason stands among the brightest and well-known. His combination of a simplistic design and popular kills as well as a simple motivation made him instantly recognizable to many deities both in awe and in terror. Even past the film type, many can recognize the sight of a regular man with a machete and a hockey mask to see the legend take shape. The more Darwinist deities often sees Jason's kills as reasonable kills and sees him as a hero who weeds out the week and dumb. Most of the respect towards Jason can be seen with the House of Theatre and Spectacle and even has a special seat in the House, as he, Norman Bates and Michael Myers are noted to being the main figureheads of slasher horror films, with Bates being the cited origin and Voorhees and Myers being the ones that lead the genre to the mainstream. Roger Ebert says otherwise however, being the harshest critic to Jason in the entire Pantheon and giving most, if not all his films horrendous scores, even coining slasher films as "Dead Teenagers Films".
  • The popularity of the renowned killer also shares with its people's fear. After all, since the Pantheon brought who is essentially one of the most persistent killers, that would mean anyone could be fair game in his list. True to such, there are many reasons for people avoiding his wrath past his notability, for instance, being able to kill the first Final Girl, or at least the person responsible for killing his mother, his status of persistence against his victims, how newfound powers and resurrections cementing the former, and history from a man who wanted to keep the camp to himself, to becoming a slasher in a cyborg, oh yeah and do not forget his foray in New York, which frightened everyone how a well-known serial killer blazed through one of the most populated cities in the world. In short, there are many reasons for others to avoid Jason and it is mostly because they value their lives rather than watch as a machete beheads them in fear.
  • His temple is a recreation of Camp Crystal Lake, all the way down to how the grass is laid. Said temple is one of the least visited, both by visitors and Pantheon deities alike due to his tendencies of killing anyone who even tries to set foot in the camp, which is how most of his victims occur his presence anyway. Most mortals do not make it out alive and the ones that do usually have help from someone in the Pantheon with the possibility that both the poor mortal and the deity Samaritan might end up having their carcasses placed under a shrine. Oh yeah, since this is his perfect rendition of the camp, it includes the shrine of his mother, Pamela Voorhees, of which he constantly praises and visits every day. Not surprising since his past and his entire life was thanks to his mama, including his killings.
    • If anything, all those killings and his motivation boils down to two reasons: territory and revenge. Territory comes to anyone who enters Camp Crystal Lake, as well as being a Home Field Advantage due to being a local of the camp. Revenge comes to the death of his mom as her killings and her death would trigger the hatred Jason needed to pursue those who wronged his mama. That's right, despite all the killings and fear, Jason still loves his mom first and foremost, more so than anything and anyone who is stupid enough to either diss on her shrine or using her against him (demonstrated by Freddy of all people) will get a first-hand look at decapitation.
  • Impossibility to kill aside, it is said that Jason's persistence came at a price: sure, he knows the ins and outs of the camp and can track his prey easily, his mindset is still his childlike self, meaning he still has irrational fear over something, in his case water in all its forms. This also explains why it hinders him from killing anyone younger than 17 and tends to lash out at times. Being revived as a revenant did make him sturdier than a regular human, but it removes many of the intelligence he once had as a human and can just simply face tank anything in front of him. That said, he is technically not immortal, he just has strong regeneration and strength to back him up, and as one has shown in his last appearance in space, atmospheric heat is enough to burn the son of a bitch for good.
  • When it was revealed that he survived well into the future, he managed to get a hold of upgrades. Originally frozen multiple times, he was removed from his frozen shackles and attacked, proving to be still deadly in the already far future, though his old durability became no use after a cyborg rendered him near dead, until he entered a medical bed and received a new upgrade in the form of Über-Jason. Bulletproof, capable of teleportation and boasting an impressive weaponry, many survivors were utterly at dismay of his newfound form, though this would be his last appearance due to burning in the Earth's atmosphere. As compensation, Jason only unleashes this form under extreme circumstance.
  • The history of him killing the final survivor of his mother's rampage Alice Hardy was proof that Final Girls is not immune to Jason's presence, special mention to her since she killed his mother and became the killer he is known for. This reason is why Laurie and Sidney are most wary of Jason other than their own respective pursuers. The duo has been hard at work training their clergy on how to survive an encounter with him, but most attempts have come short unhelped by Jason's multitude of powers that renders death meaningless to him. Oh, and the Pantheon's status quo only makes things worse as he can just kill them again, again and again. The only thing they can do is warn other survivors about his presence, which was eventually heralded by Ash William's arrival, the only person who faced Jason and survived. Ash's shock to hear of Jason's return has him dedicated not just in taking down the Deadites and Freddy Krueger but him as well, killing him, however, will take a monumental effort.
  • One can deduce that he may have some animosity towards other serial killers of similar kind but that may not be the case. Other than his desire for revenge and territorial behaviour, he bears no evil towards others, which is different compared to the scale of other serial killers who directly feed on fear and relish in their victim's deaths. The exception to this rule is Norman Bates, due to his status as the one that gave birth to the genre, he is in. He has no reason to kill him and respects him to some degree. The other killers however treat him as a threat, mainly because Jason might end up killing their planned victims and most importantly, themselves. Freddy Krueger and Leatherface being the proof that such animosity does not exist.
    • Freddy Krueger is perhaps the closest to Jason in terms of an archnemesis. Being dragged in hell was bad enough but being a pawn to the Springwood Slasher ticked his boxes. Even the teenagers that saw Jason's fight with Freddy agree that he is the least malicious compared to Freddy. That said, Freddy has not forgiven him for failing his greater scheme for more souls, and most importantly, has not forgiven him for beheading his head, determining the winner of the two, as well as failing in their fight against Ash Williams. In return however, Freddy has laughed at the fact that some unknown Entity has brought him in a new playground for new potential victims, while Jason is left with nothing. He does not mind, at least he can put Freddy's decapitated head in front of the sign at Camp Crystal Lake for good measure.
    • Completing his lack of animosity towards the other slasher killers, Leatherface was on the fence when he saw him once again. They had a rivalry in the past when they thought that they would be likely allies until it was clear that Leatherface was more loyal to family than "friends" and fair enough since even he has more loyalty to his mom than to anyone. The normally emotionless Jason attacked Leatherface for his betrayal and has been in bad blood against him, all the worse when the two must share tropes related to them as slasher villains and eventually reached to its tipping point upon a visit to another realm.
    • Other serial killers have also harbored a grudge against Jason, as he has the fame, respect, and the largest number of kills by any other serial killer of his kind, with Michael Myers competing with him over who gets to kill certain people, likely due to Myers having the second highest kill count of around 120 and Jason eclipsing him by a large margin of 200+ kills (and then some by 2445). That said, he was very, very displeased when the Entity invited many horror figureheads in a new place where they can live out their killer fantasies, including his archnemesis Freddy, Leatherface, Myers and others including Amanda Young (taking the moniker of The Pig), Pyramid Head, Nemesis and Pinhead. In addition, the Entity also had a few killers of its own roam free in the Pantheon. Jason lashed very hard about the fact that he was not invited to a place that seemed right for the type he is and decided to install his own asymmetrical experience with positive to mixed results.
  • Jason is no stranger when it comes crossovers, as his experience with Freddy, Ash and Leatherface has shown. What most did not expect that he would be a visitor to Earthrealm and came across many interesting targets. They are a lot stronger than his usual marks, but he has shown to the gods of the universe that he is very capable of handling his own and even has replica heads of all the Kombatants he has personally faced, this also shows that Jason has the capability to fight against gods and win, making his fear even more present. In an alternate timeline, he caught the attention of Earthrealm's new emperor, Liu Kang, who wanted him to fight in his planned invasion of Earthrealm. Anyone who has seen his fight with Freddy can see where this will end at as he choked him to death with his own intestines, though it was not permanent due to being undead. The real Liu Kang is now far more wary of succumbing to his own hubris. He would thank Jason, but there is no way he will be getting anywhere near him without good reason. This realm however became the tipping point in his rivalry between him and Leatherface, making the two strong rivals for facing the Kombatants in different timelines.
  • Unlike Freddy and Leatherface, he has no problem with Michael Bay producing a reboot of his series. The film harkens back to Jason's human life but without all the zombie powers and regeneration, instead going to his old roots of being a territorial type but with a far more cunning strategy and resilience, even having a network of tunnels underneath Camp Crystal Lake. He is one of the few people he spares but is disgruntled when he realized that a planned sequel would never come out, meaning he still must wait for a 13th Friday the 13th. Bay had no comment and found the coincidence all too matching.
  • Fear is a powerful emotion, both in fear against your opponents and fears that the person has. Few people inspire fear among others and Jason's legend still brings a chill to anyone, bonus points if they have personally met him and lived to tell the tale. When he arrived in the Pantheon, a yellow ring came across camp and accepted him into a new corps, one that stuck fear among their opponents. Sinestro was notified of Jason's addition to the Yellow Lantern Corps and was heavily reminded when Scarecrow was added to the Corps. While Scarecrow may not be present, Jason can heavily fit as a worthy substitute but must deal with the fact that Jason is dormant unless someone steps in the Camp. The potentials of Jason being empowered by a Yellow Lantern Ring could be devastating but seeing that the Pantheon is filled with many forms of possibilities, such idea is not far-fetched and could be in the making.
  • His temple has been expanded to the House of Villainy, under Villainous Appearances.

  • Jaime Height is an ordinary university student who likes to hang around with her boyfriend, Hugh. Aside from rumors about gruesome deaths and the presence of a killer, things seem to be fine for Jay. Then she has sex with Hugh in his car... only to be told by her boyfriend that with their intercourse, Jay will now be the target of a supernatural entity who brands someone who has sex and would chase them down for as long as possible until they can kill their branded target. Additionally, said entity can take the form of whoever person or figure they desire, as told by Hugh, before leaving Jay to fend for herself, telling the girl that having sex with another person is the only way to make the entity give up branded target, only to set its sights on the newest victim. Even with all the knowledge given to her by Hugh, Jaime goes through a claustrophobic and terrifying experience in trying to keep her safe from this entity all whilst dealing with paranoia and the pressure of needing to have sex to save herself. She receives help from some university friends like Paul Bolduan, Yara Davis, Greg Hannigan, and her younger sister, Kelly. The group continuously proves to be unable to avoid the entity's persistence, even killing Greg as his intercourse with Jay made him a target, only to resume its focus back on the girl. The group would eventually triumph by luring it into a swimming pool and electrocuting it, alongside Paul firing two bullets, though that wasn't without an intense struggle. Although Jay, Paul, Yara, and Kelly seem to be at peace, there's no certainty on what exactly happened to the entity...
  • Although Jaime and her company seemed to have been safe, there was no telling of what happened to them afterwards, especially as information arose that "It" had indeed survived from being shot and electrocuted, ready to make its pursuit once more. And woe to anyone coming to learn of its tale and reputation, as this entity would be confirmed in the Pantheon thanks to a series of bodies being identified and recovered that had cases of misaligned limbs, splintered bones jutting out of the victims, and evidence of extreme sexual assault and injuries. Many were terrified of a new phenomenon killing scores of people as well as being unable to pinpoint a suspect until Jay herself was ascended via an invitation, though without a reason as to why she was chosen as a representative for the Pantheon. However, it didn't take long for the poor girl to be horrified by what was going on. She and her friends panicked at the idea of having to deal with "It" once again, though the entity has been focusing on other targets lately. In time, a team of supernatural deities and agents have been sent to ensure Jay's safety as well as learn more about "It" in the hopes of someday finding a way to permanently neutralize the mysterious sexual predator. As for "It" a new hunt was just beginning for the invisible killer.
  • Although the entity quickly saw itself becoming incredibly feared in the Pantheon, the very fantastical nature of the divine realms also made it one of many invisible threats and, as a result, isn't an entirely unique enemy to contend against. Regardless, the entity's fear factor and reputation manage to persist; "It" is a supernatural being who almost nothing is known about and the only witnesses to "It" are too traumatized to properly afford any key information about it aside from ideas on how to avoid being killed by "It". The only thing that's known about "It" is that it wants to rape and kill people as brutally as possible and that nothing is stopping "It" from enacting its pursuits. It may be slow, but it never gives up chasing its targets, not to mention its ability to shapeshift into other people in an attempt to catch its victims off-guard if possible. You either Run or Die, there's no middle ground, though there are some who intend to subvert this and are devising plans to finally stop the entity in some way.
  • While she isn't the sole survivor of the entity, given that she had to with her friends to save it away from her and eventually incapacitate it, Jay still feels traumatized by the events and often finds it very difficult to open up about the events she was involved in. She also tears up whenever she has to recall Greg's death as she feels incredibly guilty and thinks that she was responsible for his death, given that she had sex with Greg moments before "It" ambushed the poor boy. Despite what she claims was a terrible thing to have done, she is sympathized by others as at the very least, she admitted her guilt and really wished things turned out differently. The feeling of being followed and threatened at all times with something Sidney Prescott and Laurie Strode could easily relate to and though the other two ladies eventually toughened up against their aggressors, Jay still felt rather meek and more visibly tormented. That said, Sidney and Laurie agreed to look after the younger girl as a friend and mentor, hoping that they could teach her how to stand up and fight for herself as well as better her confidence, a sentiment that Jay was happy to agree on. Sidney and Laurie also confided that they can be fearful and scared too, but they've made a point to always stand their ground and want to impart that knowledge to Jay. The Masons, namely Harry and Heather, have dealt with sexual and consensual horror before, and while their circumstances were different, they did come to support Jay as they can understand the feeling of dread and anxiety she had to face over confronting her fears and guilt.
  • Jay isn't the only one to be branded for death by a supernatural entity, though this doesn't really do anything to deter her concerns and her feeling of dread and uncertainty. If anything, while the Pantheon has given her a new group of friends who are willing to help and look after her, she's just as scared of the idea that a new unseen force might start chasing her down, though fortunately, she hasn't seen much of "It" pursuing her, even if her paranoia is kept alert at all times. Learning about the idea of Death being angry to kill a bunch of people because they evaded their intended death was a frightening tale to think about for Jay and sometimes wonders if the same fate would befall her, even if she does her best to think happy thoughts and just hang out with friends. On a positive note, said story attracted her to a collection of survivors that included Alex Browning, Kimberly Corman, Wendy Christensen, Nick O'Bannon, and Sam Lawton, all of whom were similarly unnerved by Jay's story concerning the entity, but would still get along with the girl on the account that they know how it feels to be relentlessly followed. Jay also found another friend in Mei Misaki, a girl who had to fend for herself alongside her friends when she was placed in a haunted classroom that slowly killed its students off until a very specific student was killed off to stop said curse, though both girls would rather try to make the best of their current situation in the Pantheon.
  • Prior to her assault by "It", she had a habit of engaging in promiscuous sex with her partners, though overall, she was an affable and polite girl who simply did her best to get along with her given company. But ever since then, the idea of sex torments her and while her relationship with Paul has blossomed into a romantic and sexual one, she still faces a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty. She has visited the House of Love and Affection and admits that the place can sometimes give a sense of comfort and relaxation, but the key word here is sometimes, as when it comes to the more explicit Halls and places, she often freezes up and has an emotional breakdown regarding past events with her and the entity. When she decided to express her thoughts on the matter, she admitted that it took her to a happier time when she was a carefree and excitable girl, making her chuckle and smile a bit, but the moment Greg showed up in her mind, she panicked and sobbed, still feeling that she indirectly killed him. That, and she freezes up on the idea of having sex with anyone, even if she consummated her feelings with Paul, afraid to brand others to the entity's hunting spree. The House, in general, is willing to accept Jay's anguish and guilt as they do recognize that her lingering troubles still persist and they're open to looking after her in times of burden. Jay's friends and sister, on the other hand, are open to going and enjoying the House for its amenities, though all of them, especially Paul, are careful about how to engage in their preferred activities as they, too, want to make sure they don't indirectly lure "It" into the House and cause unwanted mayhem.
  • While little is known about the entity, the most important aspect is common knowledge; "It" is a horrific rapist and it prefers to kill its victims by sexually assaulting them so violently their bodies break and give out from shock and whatever ruptured muscles/organs and broken bones that are inflicted. It's no wonder "It" is considered the most dangerous rapist in the Pantheon; while there are more powerful deities and beings, they have other matters and ambitions to place their focus on; "It" solely exists for the sake of finding and sexually assaulting whoever is branded to be targeted by the entity. Although "It" is limited in scope, there were some notable rapists who took some degree of interest in the mysterious being; Femto of the Godhand, formerly Griffith, noted that "It" had a tendency to act somewhat similar to some of the more depraved apostles when it came to catching their prey and wondered if the entity may be an apostle or at least something similar. Molag Bal, the Daedric Prince of Scenes and the infamous "King of Rape" was more open and rather impressed by the tenacity and ferocity "It" displayed and would have delighted for the opportunity for the entity to come to Coldharbour to bring about more "fun" in his realms and while a bit bummed out that it doesn't respond to anybody unless they're in the way of its prey, Molag Bal still likes to observe "It" if he has spare time, eager to see which victim is he about to violate to death and whether the said victim would be condemned to Coldharbour where Bal would have his time to indulge in his fun. Symbolically, the way "It" brands its victims appears to be a take on sexually transmitted diseases, with the entity representing the "disease" aspect of such. The idea of such does make sense in context, but is clearly an uneasy one, though the Padres de la Muerte (more specifically, Anton Arcane, Thrax, and their allies) are rather chummy about the subject.
  • One of the most notable quirks that "It" possesses is that it appears invisible to virtually everyone but whoever it brands as its target, which makes an already relentless rapist an even more horrifying force to deal with as, to the uninitiated, the branded may sound like a crazy loon when trying to describe and talk about the entity and very few taking the matter seriously until it's too late. At the very least, High, Jay's former boyfriend and former bearer of the entity's branding, was kind enough to tell his girlfriend about this information and more before departing, even if the main reason was that "It" killing her would mean Hugh is back to being the killing target. While most invisible beings didn't really pay much attention to the entity, Doctor Griffin, on the other hand, took a good deal of interest and felt that he had a competition against a mysterious sexual violator on which "invisible villain" could carve the most notoriety, a competition that "It" couldn't be bothered to care about. Naturally, Jay saw Griffin with revulsion and disgust, though from her experience, she had the misfortune of encountering Adrian Griffin, who proved himself as dangerous as the entity, and an overall vile man with a litany of crimes. Griffin's thoughts on Jay alternate from being indifferent on a normal day to lusting and desiring to torment her as Adrian.
  • Outside of its unique physiology of being invisible to everyone except for those who are branded to be hunted by "It" and for being the most determined rapist in the Pantheon, the entity isn't the most well-known when it came to what most saw as the faces of horror, though that's but a trivial matter for the Entity, for it is only concerned with what it wants to do. Freddy Krueger has shown some interest in "It", finding his killing style to be very interesting, and was also impressed to see how it could impersonate their target's loved ones as a way to surprise them and because it apparently enjoys it, as demonstrated with Greg, whom "It" killed by impersonating as his mother to catch him off-guard. Beyond that, Freddy would like to participate in whatever the entity is doing mainly as a competitor, willing to see who is the better killer. He'll even taunt "It" if he could, knowing that the entity's invisibility doesn't cover the fact that "It" could become noticeable via covering or seeing any tracks "It" leaves behind. Pennywise, a monster who also tends to assume forms to attack and devour his victims, noted that "It" has a similar style in being a predator, but also found the entity to be boring in the sense that it doesn't put much effort in trying to personally terrify its victims as Pennywise feels that it makes killing them all the more satisfying.
  • As "It" is a supernatural entity with very little known aside from the personal experiences of Jay and her loved ones, it didn't take long for urban horror stories, myths, and rumors to spread about the "invisible/shapeshifting killer rapist". Unfortunately, not many tend to believe in these sorts of tales, but those that do not only take it seriously but take whatever precautions necessary to at least capture and detain "It" as quickly as they can. The SCP Foundation has been the most prominent organizational force in regard to gathering information and location details regarding the entity, though they had a hard time interviewing Jay and her loved ones due to her trauma, even if they assured they were trying to help. The foundation has collected a good deal of intel since regarding "It" and there have been a few manhunts in locating the entity, which they consider a Keter level. The entity's nature as a sexual predator also caught the attention of the Chaos God of Lust, Slaanesh, but the Prince(ss) of Excess disapproves of "It", mainly because the entity might prove a negative influence on Slaanesh's followers to start raping its targets to death, which goes against its main belief of indulging yourself in excessive hedonism and acts of lust. This is not for moral reasons as Slaanesh isn't coy about sexual violation, mainly that murder and bloodshed are more aligned with Khorne and the Dark Prince(ss) doesn't want its own followers to start taking notes from its rival Chaos God.
  • They're also found in the Hall of Lustful Behavior.

The Bedtime Stories Crew, The Deities Who Specialize in Horror Web Originals

The Crew, as drawn in their typical Deliberately Monochrome artstyle.
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: The Bedtime Stories Logo
  • Themes: Undaunted, Ice Demon, and Crypto
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Domains: Horror, Unsolved Mysteries, Black and White, Nightmare Fuel
  • Portfolio:
  • Allies: Gordon Freeman, The Ghostbusters, Mystery Inc., Sam and Dean Winchester, The Ghost Stories Cast, Nate Adams, The Question
  • Enemies and/or Those that they're also heavily interested in covering:
  • Opposed by: The Silencerz, The Men in Black, The SCP Foundation, The Global Occult Coalition, XCOM, The Black Ops
  • Oppose: Kenji Setou
  • Established in September of 2015, the Bedtime Stories crew uploaded their first video in January of 2017, which covered The Unsolved Mystery of the disappearance of 3 lighthouse keepers at Flannan Isle off Scotland. Unlike most other channels that focused on the same topics, theirs was unique in that, instead of simply narrating throughout the video, it was instead accompanied with Deliberately Monochrome images of the titular island as well as the lighthouse keepers in question.
  • Their members are, in order: Richard While, the Narrator, Mikey Turcanu, the artist, George Foster, the website editor, and Simon Andrews, the primary writer.
  • Another thing that set them apart from similar Youtube channels was their emphasis on Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane, where rational explanations were given alongside several of the more outlandish or interesting theories for a mystery. One of the best examples of this is the episode focusing on Flight 19, which disappeared in The Bermuda Triangle. Unlike most other depictions of the incident, which often featured wild conspiracies ranging from being unwitting Dimensional Travelers to being the victims of Alien Abduction, they took a far more mundane and rational take, where Lt. Taylor had mistaken a set of islands for the Florida Keys, and ended up becoming an Unwitting Instigator of Doom by having his men run out of fuel over water and be lost to the sea.
  • Ultimately, this new storytelling technique would pay off, as subsequent videos and topics began to look and sound far scarier, with the artwork improving gradually. All the while their views and subscriber count increased, with many saying that they're far better in telling these stories than most other, similar channels.
  • At first focusing mostly on the supernatural and the paranormal, they gradually branched out into other, no less nightmarish, topics, ranging from Nazi superscience or their research into the occcult, to more mundane Serial Killers or disappearances.
  • Among the most famous (or infamous, if we're really being specific here) unsolved mystery cases they have covered include: The Men in Black, the aforementioned Disappearance of Flight 19 in The Bermuda Triangle, purported Wendigo sightings, and the mysterious sinking of the SS Ourang Medan.
  • Their ascension is rather uneventful, with the four of them being on Earth one minute, and then ending up in the Pantheon in another. Almost as if they were Dimensional Travelers, not unlike The Man from Taured...
  • Not long after their ascension, they begin coming across some of the very creatures they have covered in their videos, most notably the Wendigo, which promptly begins attacking them. Thankfully, they're saved by members of the SCP Foundation, who immediately recapture the escaped beast. Unfortunately, they're then held captive by them for a time due to them knowing about their existence. When the Foundation members realize that they're harmless, they let them go.
  • Despite opposing their activities in inadvertently exposing the existence of aliens, Agents K and J come to find their take on The Men in Black to be pretty amusing. The Crew themselves are rather surprised that they're rather chill people to be around with. Rather than neuralyze them, they opt to let them continue narrating their take on their organization.
  • Members of XCOM, upon getting hold of their videos on aliens, are surprised with their rather thorough attention to detail. It culminates to the point where their members interrogate the Crew for intel on the alien encounters that took place during The Vietnam War.
  • Other organizations, such as The Silencerz, aren't exactly happy with the risk of being exposed by the Crew, and subsequently begin watching over them with their X-88 recon drones as well as Silencerz cars stalking their headquarters on occasion. This doesn't go completely unnoticed, as the Crew at one point witness a seemingly-ordinary sedan morph into a silver and purple car, then vanish from plain sight not long after. It ultimately backfires for the Silencerz, when the Crew begin researching on their known appearances in the Pantheon. Thankfully for the organization, there isn't enough information to confirm this existence, and so the episode covering them ends on a rather ambiguous note.
    • With their video covering the Silencerz proving to be a hit, they decide to make a follow-up video on their Arch-Enemy, the Racing Drones. This time, they do manage to very much confirm the Drones' existence, with them providing theories as to their origins.
  • With a ton of new potential topics to cover in the Pantheon, they decide to start by covering supernatural or paranormal creatures lurking within the Pantheon, starting with Spooky and the Specimens. It...goes surprisingly well, thanks in part to them choosing to research about them from deities who have already encountered her and her minions, rather than going to the Haunted House where she resides in. And not long after, their video on her becomes a hit, with 100k views in less than a week. And unlike their previous videos, the Crew presented evidence that undoubtedly proved the beings' existences.
  • Eventually, the Crew discover the existence of an entire House dedicated to Extraterrestrials. Unsurprisingly, they decide to cover some of the more mysterious and/or hostile cases. From a distance of course, as they're all Genre Savvy enough to know the fates of many of the people they have covered. Given that among their number are The Combine, who also have allies in the form of ADVENT from other houses, this was probably a good move.
  • Following up on their coverage of Spooky, they eventually discover the House of Undead and Phasmata, which excites the Crew even more. Of the sub-houses, they take the most interest in Ghosts, due to already having covered numerous hauntings in previous videos, as well as the aforementioned Spooky. Unlike their previous ventures, they actually visit this particular sub-house in person, thanks in part to many of the deities there being good-aligned.
  • When not covering ghosts or aliens, they cover Serial Killers in detail. Jack the Ripper earns most of their attention, mostly due to this case being one of the unsolved mysteries out there. Other killers that they plan on covering include the infamous Hannibal Lecter and Manny Pardo, the latter of whom would probably enjoy the renewed infamy given that he's an Attention Whore.
  • Another set of topics they've also extensively covered include Sea Monsters, Sinking Ship Scenarios, Ghost Ships, and other related maritime tragedies. With the Pantheon being as massive as it is, there is, again, no shortage of things for the Crew to cover.
    • On one hand, there's creatures such as the Lagiacrus and the Plesioth, sea monsters known for sinking ships deliberately. Given that they've covered similar creatures in a previous episode of theirs, it was a spectacle for them to witness firsthand just how powerful and majestic they were up close.
    • Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman are also very much in the Crew's spotlight. Given that their ships are inspired by the Flying Dutchman legends, which they have yet to cover, this makes a lot of sense.
  • Are rather surprised that many of the Nazi wonderweapons that they've covered in their videos are actually Real After All here in the Pantheon. Rather than getting this information firsthand, they learn all of this from OSS operatives like Lt. Karl Fairburne and Lt. Mike Powell, who are all too happy to give them declassified information of several now-realized Nazi projects. The only Nazi deity who's even willing to approach the Bedtime Stories Crew is Rudolf von Stroheim, who tells the Crew about Nazi Generals such Heinz Böhm and Johann Schmidt, who have developed Super Prototype heavy bombers capable of feats considered impossible for their time. The Crew, understandably, are quite shocked, given that the capabilities of the Valkyrie and the Horten Ho.XVIII make the Junkers Ju 390 look normal by comparison.
  • In addition, they've also covered the Imperial Japanese Army at one point, specifically how a battalion of 500 Japanese were mysteriously killed in a swamp off the Burmese coast. Hearing about Metallia, The Swamp Witch, attacking both American Marines and Japanese soldiers venturing into a certain swamp has the Crew decide to make a follow-up video to the aforementioned one. In keeping with the themes of some of their previous videos, this follow-up slash sequel is called "There is Something In The Swamp".
  • On the side, they also decide to make alliances with other good or neutral aligned deities who are also experts in the supernatural and paranormal. It ultimately ends in...mixed results, to say the least. While some like Mystery Inc. do prove to be trustworthy allies who also help debunk for them several mysteries while also giving them some valuable topics to cover, others, such as the Ghost Stories Cast, aren't so helpful, to say the least.
    • The Winchester Brothers, meanwhile, are more than happy to give them more material to work with, even introducing them to some of their Angel allies.
    • The Crew as a whole also form a friendship with The Question, a fellow Conspiracy Theorist. Unlike Kenji Setou, his sources are more reliable and often have good reasoning to them. It's mainly from him, in fact, that they got their information regarding the Silencerz from.
    • Nate Adams, despite being a relatively average young boy, manages to gain the interest of the Crew after telling them about the Yōkai, something that they have yet to cover in their videos. It also helps that they have yet to cover supernatural stories from Japan, The Man from Taured notwithstanding.
  • Are rather opposed to taking sources from one Kenji Setou. The latter, having watched several of their videos, often takes the time to email them about a "Feminist Conspiracy" happening. Of course, Rich and the others do not take him seriously, and eventually stop replying and block him altogether.
  • When the rest of the crew are not covering their usual topics for upcoming videos, Rich takes the time to explore the Pantheon. Eventually, he comes across Gordon Freeman. Having been a huge fan of the original game where Freeman debuted in, he becomes overjoyed that his hero from his younger days is now real. On the flipside, he isn't exactly thrilled about the existence of The Combine, the Headcrabs, the HECU, and the Black Ops being in the Pantheon as well. In particular, the Black Ops now want the Bedtime Stories Crew silenced for knowing too much.
  • After all is said and done, the Crew come to a brilliant realization: since they've pretty much vanished off the face of the Earth and somehow ended up in Another Dimension, they can now do a video on themselves. And so, the Crew get to work, making brief biographies of thesmelves while recounting how they mysteriously ended up Trapped in Another World. It, like most of their videos beforehand, ends with Richard While's now iconic narration.

Rich: "So what are we to make of the Bedtime Stories Crew's disappearance and subsequent ordeal in the Pantheon? Is it just some elaborate hoax conjured up by some guy on the internet? Is there some truth to the whole account? Or, is it a little bit of both? Unfortunately, thanks to the ambiguity and suddenness of their disappearance, as well as the lack of credible sources regarding to their fates and subsequent accounts, we may sadly never know the answer."

  • In an oddly clean part of this Hall, anyone who enters their temple will see a computer with a video game that starts with a warning screen about the experience being not for children or for those easily disturbed. Whoever plays the game is then thrusted into the shoes of an unseen protagonist joining a literature club with a bunch of cute girls at a Japanese-style high school. The computer has different profiles so that anybody who plays has their own personal playthrough.
    • One day, however, something extraordinary happened. While (Insert Name Here) was tinkering with the game files in search of clues on Project Libitina, a stray bolt of lightning from Discord that was deflected by whoever he was fighting with struck this temple, zapping the computer and its occupants. Because it was Chaos Magic, not only was no one hurt, but it also opened a portal from its screen and its four characters popped out and onto INH and Anon. Thankfully, neither of them came out to be Accidental Perverts since both were female at the moment. Also, the computer got busted beyond repair.
    • After everybody got on their feet, as soon as Natsuki and Yuri pulled themselves together, they instantly made to assault Monika for all the things she did to them, hearing of them from Sayori after their Golden Ending, and Monika would take them as she felt she deserved it, but they were blocked by INH and Anon, giving a chance for and telling Monika to explain herself, which she did.
    • After explaining how she came to be aware of her world, her jealousy for not being canonically available as a love interest in the game, and how she came to realize the folly of her actions, everybody came to realize something else; while Sayori and the others came from the "happy ending" where Sayori says goodbye and thanks the player for helping everyone by Save Scumming to take all the available paths, Monika is from where the player didn't, and upon discovering the same things she did, her game's Sayori grew possessive and would've repeated the same behaviours Monika did, and Monika — seeing no happiness in that path — decided to delete everything as a Mercy Kill, and Anonymous corroborated it with a copy of her final letter to them in that path.
    • Once everything has been cleared up, being the new Club President, Sayori had the final verdict for Monika's fate: believing her story, and and feeling for what she went through, it was decided that Monika stay in the club*, though no longer as the Club President. Yuri decided to trust that Sayori knows what she's doing, whereas Natsuki huffed, commenting that if it's true that the Pantheon at large knew of Monika's actions, their reception of her would be punishment enough. Monika accepted the terms, knowing it will take a long time to earn their friendship once more after what she did.

  • Applies to the club as a whole or two or three of its members:
    • After it was made obvious that their temple now held the game's four characters in the flesh, the Club's temple was revamped accordingly, with a main club room, and hallways leading to their bedrooms. And then, their Literature Club was opened once more, with Sayori as the new Club President, Yuri as the Club Vice President, Monika as an "Advisor", and Natsuki as a Senior Member. And this time, they found to their surprise that there were actual members signing up, some just to see the girls (even with full knowledge of Monika's sins), and some for actual literature. That said, it just doesn't feel the same without their original love interest, (Insert Name Here), whose escapades in the Pantheon don't permit them to stay with the Club for long.
    • Without the game keeping her from having a chance, Monika has now joined in the rivalry for INH's affections with the rest of the club members.
    • There is another Literature Club in the Pantheon under the House of Narrative, but those aren't exactly looking for new members, given they have other concerns.
    • Ever the book lover, Twilight Sparkle was one of the first applicants for the club. While her poem proficiency is remarkable (given the nature of musical numbers), she does veer a little to the academic. And given her and her friends' track record in terms of redeeming villains, she's willing to give even Monika a chance.
    • As a side effect of their method of ascension, not only do Monika and Sayori no longer have their domain-modifying powers (though their Medium Awareness still remains), the traits she tampered with linger in Natsuki and Yuri, though the effects on the latter are more apparent in the form of an increased obsession with self-harm and knife obsession.
    • A lot of the mean-spirited gods like to make jokes to the girls about unfortunate events that happened to them while they were mortal (ie "How's it hanging?", "Knife to see ya!", and "You look like you've got a crick in your neck.") It offends them greatly given Monika was responsible for these, she and Sayori have told the other two, and the ex-Club President doesn't like being continually reminded of her sins and often comes to the defense of the offended.
    • Many deities with abusive parents, depression, self-harm, or any combination of the three reach out to most of the girls that are in the club. Natsuki, Sayori, and Yuri appreciate their kindness and love.
    • The club have specific favorites when they play Super Smash Bros. Melee. Yuri mains Marth, Natsuki prefers Pikachu, Sayori likes all the characters but would choose Yoshi, while Monika sticks with Fox.
    • Knowing what it's like to be stuck in a game's storyline, the girls pity Stanley's situation and oppose the Narrator (especially Monika, who had been denied the chance to be a Love Interest until she forced her game to and sees his attempts to deny choice reprehensible). That said, the fact that the Narrator himself is just another puppet in his game does give them conflicting opinions.
    • Both Sayori and Yuri got to meet Simon Henriksson, another teenager who may be even more messed up than both girls combined. Like Sayori, he suffers from depression and also committed suicide at certain points in his story because of his fragile state of mind while he also has a cutting problem like Yuri. They have asked him how he coped with both his mental health and disability but hesitated to tell them to follow his treatment. God knows what would happen if they also write a book that would trap them in their own mind like Simon did.
    • As another deity who is an expert in surprisingly creepy antics, the girls really did their best to steer clear of Baldi whenever possible. Unfortunately, this ended up in vain as Baldi managed to find them during a club meeting during school and forced them to answer his questions, including an impossible third one. In an effort to save the girls, Monika decided to answer the question herself to have the other girls escape as Baldi focused on just her. While no one else besides Monika and Baldi knows what happened next, the results of this action did end with the other three girls antagonizing her less and acting more friendly towards her.
    • Eventually, there came the Plus re-relaease, which revealed the Side Stories and the Metaverse Enterprise Solutions. While the former is actually just an Alternate Universe, info on the latter revealed another startling fact; their simulated world is part of an experiment to determine how people would react to the fact that their world is a simulation, like in The Matrix, that Monika's fourth-wall awareness is part of their plan, that the Side Stories world is a "control group" AU, and that the MC is a creation of Monika's as a way for her to interact with the player. There's also a theory that Monika, after seeing what Project Libitina is doing to her friends over there, intends to pull a Glitchtrap, escape the system, take over an employee (but unlike Afton her intentions are Chaotic Good), and do what she can to rescue them. However, without any further information on Team Salvato's next project, the DDLC girls as they are now are unchanged, except for now being aware of all of this.

  • Exclusive to just Monika:
    • Due to its odd reputation, the Literature Club has its fair share of enemies, back when it was still a simple temple with a computer game. The Katawa Shoujo girls don't like them because high schools like where they came from shouldn't be horrifying. Kids and skittish people throughout the Pantheon are all scared to death of the place. Dipper and Mabel in particular are uneasy about it due to a similar situation happening to their mortal friend Soos. Speaking of Monika, Ashi attacked her on sight over what she did to Sayori and Yuri. The young woman was restrained by other Pantheon members due to their fear of how Monika might retaliate, which is none since she no longer has those powers
      • After finding that out, she settled with a death threat once she managed to corner her, though Monika taking the threat seriously without any fear (aside from the logical one that comes from being confronted by an ex-assassin) or panicked self-justification quelled Ashi's resolution for the briefest of moments before leaving her be with her haunting words.
      • Of course, with the changes, some of said people who didn't like them have come to the club, leaving their contempt to just Monika as they stay away from her, and express their pity for the other girls. The easily frightened people still stay away from the club though due to their fear of Monika.
    • When offered to join the Yandere Squad, Monika refused for two reasons. 1) She didn't believe that she was doing anything wrong at the time and 2) While she's escaped the confines of the Literature Club, she's rather remorseful over what she's done and refuses to associate with them.
    • Flowey and Monika meet with each other every so often. The two have told each other about the lives they had before ascending to the Pantheon, and as a result, have found some similarities in their experiences. It's claimed they also seem to enjoy exchanging ideas about spooky faces that they can pull off to scare the crap out of people. In reality, though, Flowey pities Monika for what she suffered through, which sort of mirrored the time-loop he first woke up in as Flowey, and he can see how it's more painful for Monika as Flowey never had as much power over his game as she did over hers, which only made the feeling of powerlessness even worse. Flowey found redemption because he had a real identity prior to his resurrection in a flower that he was restored to (however temporarily) thanks to Frisk, while Monika found it thanks to (Insert Name Here) making her realize what she was doing wrong. Now, Flowey hopes help to her just as Frisk helped him.
      • As a result, she's become a confidant in Flowey's secret, though she's not officially part of the group that also know since 1) (Insert Name Here) is among them and things are weird between them, 2) Frisk has conflicting opinions on Monika, and 3) Sans distrusts her for what she's done and isn't as believing of her redemption as Flowey is. Yet.
      • Having the same fears of being left alone without anyone to play, Monika (and Flowey) were acquainted with White Face. It wanted to relate with her on the sense that they were obssessed with the player character and tried anything to keep them with them forever, but ultimately were both were deleted from the game because of that. But there was a difference between them; White Face never realizes the error of its ways, while Monika does due to lingering in the game somewhat even after her deletion. She doesn't want to be involved with White Face as a result, but she does pity it.
    • One prank onto the club by the Itazura Griefers comes in the form of playing Lou Bega's "Mambo No. 5" in the temple and replacing all the girl names in the song so that only Moni(k)a remains. Everyone can agree it's in poor taste despite being funny.
    • Now free from the confines of the game, Monika often takes time to visit the House of Music to practice the piano. Passersby will occasionally hear echoes of a piano in the halls, even though there are no pianos in the club room.
    • Monika is one of the few gods not from real life that has a Twitter account.
    • Would not mind having a rapper join the club, and thinks the genre is a form of literature. She finds it more challenging than poetry in some ways.

  • Exclusive to Sayori:
    • In regards to White Face, one of the "toys" he likes to use is a…noose. Naturally, as a victim of it, Sayori doesn't like that, mostly because to White Face's victims either you are their friend forever or you hang yourself.
    • Sayori can be caught striking up a conversation with Sans, mostly about new comedic routines to cheer their friends up and help stave off their respective existential crises (while the girls are free from their game now, learning that they were game characters at all was still quite the shock, as well as learning what exactly the Trope Pantheons is about). Rumor has it they're going to start a "Stepford Smilers Anonymous Club" for people with similar issues.
      • In regards to Papyrus, he's of course well-liked once everybody got over the shock of his bombastic personality.
    • Sayori is advised against doing any house cleaning; nobody wants another house fire, even though her depression that's the cause of her clumsiness isn't severe anymore.

  • Exclusive to Yuri:
    • Several knife wielders took the wrong conclusion upon hearing of her collection of ornate knives. She avoids them at every opportunity.
    • People notice that no matter what Yuri wears, her sleeves are always covered, and that she's insecure about them. Those with special visions to see through them can detect cut wounds…
    • As an avid fan of tea, Yuri frequently visits the Jade Dragon. Iroh has taken a liking to her and often offers her new kinds of tea to enjoy while she reads.
    • Whatever you do, please do not mistake her for a purple-haired boy with the same name as her. It will end badly.

  • Exclusive to Natsuki:
    • Hearing of her cupcakes, Pinkie Pie instantly decided to become friends with Natsuki, though the short girl was initally too overwhelmed by the sight of a (cute!) pony with much more energy than Sayori (and her own share of issues) before giving in to her glurge and reciprocating the friendship.
      • Sometimes, she even goes out with Pinkie to hang out with her other friends and fellow Equestria deities.
    • There was one incident at the club where a Lolranger member (it's at least known that it was a human member) nicked the Ox Talisman from Jade Chan and gave it to Natsuki, resulting in a sudden buff body, causing quite the uproar and a viral sensation, but Twilight was on hoof to stop any potential extra damage from the former little girl's panic. Of course, there was a high chance it wouldn't have resulted in that at all and just plain give her Super-Strength (on top of her already above-normal strength), having done the buff thing only once for Jade, but that would've been just as hilarious. Natsuki later commented that she would've used her buffness to give Monika a scare, but said member wasn't present in the club at the time, and Sayori wouldn't have allowed it.
    • While she still has a manga stash in the club room/temple, it's not that secret anymore since there are more members who support her claim that manga is literature.
