    Davoth the Dark Lord

"The Dark Lord is the leader of Hell's armies. Not a king, but a warrior of the Dark Realm. The fiercest among them, as only the strongest could rule the demons. He is you, in their world"

Davoth, Dark God of The Fear Towards Mortality (The Dark Lord, The Nameless One, The Lord of the Fourth Age, The Malicious One, The Lord of Hell, The Dark One, The, Infernal Master, The First Primeval, The Father, Satan God God)

  • Interest in: Immortal deities
  • Complicated Relationships: The Khan Maykr
  • Pitied by: God, The Love that Moves the Stars
  • The history behind the origins of the Dark Lord have been shrouded in complete mystery for many millenia. Initially thought to be the unstoppable general of the forces of Hell who was in cahoots with the Khan Maykr in order to boss their respective forces, the intentions of the Dark Lord were very different. In truth, Davoth was once known as The Father, the supreme ruler of Jekkad who was a benevolent entity that created life in the universe. But his love for his creations was such that he feared they would all eventually die and leave him alone, prompting him to research the secrets of Eternal life to a point where he lost his focus and grew increasingly violent, prompting the Maykrs to betray him and ascend one of their own as The Father. This betrayal only worsened the Dark Lord, as he became increasingly more evil and fell to a point that he became the supreme leader of Hell, formerly Jekkad, with the goal of completely ravaging the universe and make everyone be part of hell in his twisted crusade to discover the secret of immortality.
  • After his death at the hands of the Slayer, many thought that the Dark Lord would never come back. That used to be the case until someone recovered a strange red orb and placed it in the chambers of the House of Life and Vitality with the Dark Lord emerging once more. With his arrival the forces of hell have grown stronger and he intends to continue his crusade here, even if he knows full well that Slayer has already been in the Pantheon for a long time, patiently waiting for his return and to settle things once and for all.
  • His arrival bolstered the strength of the Demonic Forces in the Pantheon, especially the ones from his own universe. The Dark Lord however, chose to join any particular Grand Alliance and chose to strike on his own instead. Particularly speaking, he has a huge beef with both GUAL and GUAD, who naturally conflict with his goals. GUAC on the other hand would have suited him if it weren't for the fact that mindless chaos, while suitable for the demons he commands, serves little purpose to his quest and considers Lucifer a child wasting his time trying to be the big man, even if the circumstances behind the origin of both are not that different.
  • His universe seemingly lacks angelic figures unless you consider the Maykrs, which Davoth isn't exactly fond of. Per usual, most angelic beings oppose by virtue of being the leader of Hell but the revelation that he was the true Father and essentially God didn't sit well with many of the angels in the Pantheon. The fact that he was once benevolent has certainly bothered some of them as well.
    • Speaking of the big man himself, several versions of the almighty have different opinions on Davoth. For once, the God the Flawed Creator certainly sympathizes with the aspect of having flaws and caring for your creations but thinks the Dark Lord grew too obssessed with his goal.
  • While his history with the Maykrs is a bit of the shaky one, him and the Khan Maykr are still on relatively good terms if only because they oppose the Slayer. Some believe the Khan Maykr is unaware that the Dark Lord planned for the Maykrs' fall for eons by shaping the Doom Slayer in his image and orchestrating the events that lead him to doom Urdak under the demons' grasp.
  • The concept of death in the Pantheon is one that interests the Dark Lord but it being not that different from how his forces operate in general he grew generally uninterested in trying to figure out how to exploit and his subjects ran rampant anyway. That said, he is seeking to gain the secrets of eternal life from other sources and the Hall of Forms of Immortality was a good start but he had no luck with how the house seemingly prevented his forces from setting foot.
  • As his title would imply, he is terrified of death but not in the way you think. Davoth himself cares little about his own death, his fear stems from his own creations dying out and leaving him alone to wander eternity, which drove him to the tyrant he became today and as such, he is naturally opposed to any force of death. The usuals, like Dhuum, consider him an utter fool to try and go against the concept of death. Others, like Death of the Endless, pity him for how misguided he became even if he ultimately is opposing the inevitable and surprising consider he himself is naturally eternal. The Dark Lord hates them all equally for what they represent and even intends to kill them to see if that brings any potential result that benefits his quest.
  • Perhaps one of his biggest opponents besides the Slayer is none other than YHVH. The Great Will is understandably baffled that the Dark Lord used to be considered his counterpart and even has sided with the notion that the Maykrs were right in betraying him. Davoth just considers him a delusional fool with no care for his own subjects and even though he became just as much of a Bad Boss, he still at least has a more reasonable goal. That said, Lucifer has expressed interest in helping the Dark Lord take care of YHVH, he even has been employing some of his demons during his absence but Davoth brushes him off as a rebellious brat that has a bone to pick with the Great Will. That comment only amuses Lucifer and he has been quietly watching the Dark Lord combat his sworn enemy just for his own amusement.
  • And if you thought his emnity with YHVH was bad, his pantheonic arch-nemesis would surprise you. Davoth despises what Nekron represents and considers the Grand Alliance he runs to be just mindless drones bent on pure annihilation for the sake of it, which Nekron found rich coming from the Dark Lord. Their respective forces have duked it out numerous times and each time it only ends badly for the Pantheon as a whole. That said, the Dark Lord managed to ally himself with the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za that also oppose the GUAD though the catch was that their methods definitely didn't align to those of hell. And considering each group is planning to turn on the other, its a matter of time before that deal goes sour.
  • Other demon lords were very welcoming of the Dark Lord given the legends told about him. He and Dis consider each other equals but both came to be from very different circumstances. Dis only cares about himself while the Dark Lord is well known from going down his path through his unhealthy attachment to his creations and even with these glaring differences, the two still decide to work together towards a common goal of getting rid of the opposition. That said, The Love that Moves the Stars pities the situation that landed Davoth into becoming what he is now and while he cannot be excused for his actions, no one should deserve to be punished for an act committed in the name of love (though many would disagree).
    • Though his most notable alliance was with Sargeras, a being whose history resembles his own. Both were once in the side of good that eventually underwant a dark path. Sargeras definitely doesn't care about the Dark Lord's goal of giving his subjects eternal life but values his strength and the relentless might of his forces and the Dark Lord feels the same about for the Burning Legion.
  • Zamasu often uses him as an example of a worthless god, one that failed both his universe and his purpose and that his love for mortals was a glaring weakness that he should have discarded to truly be the absolute ruler he was supposed to be. On his part, Davoth just thinks Zamasu as nothing but another divine brat whose overzealous nature reminds him too much of the traitorous makyrs that betrayed him so understandably, neither of them get along at all.
  • "You bring violence and war to thwart the Dark Realm, but conflict was born in Hell. It is inevitable... a fire that fuels creation and gives purpose where there is none. Stand and fight, Slayer. Honor your true God. Fight, and show me your purpose"

    Neera Li
”I suppose this is worth our attention.”

Regent Neera Li of Shang-Tu, Goddess of Being Improperly Paranoid (The Frost Knight, Panda Girl, Scary Lady, Lady Neera, Lieutenant Neera (formerly))

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/character_neera.png
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Her ice staff
  • Theme Songs: Jade Creek 1, Jade Creek 2, Minor Boss Battle, Neera’s Theme (Beta), Neera’s Theme
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (Formerly Lawful Neutral with moments of oblivious Lawful Evil)
  • Portfolio: An Ice Person, Misplaced Paranoia Which She Learns To Weaponize, Contrasting Sequel Main Character, Undying Loyalty to the Royal Magister and all of Shang-Tu, Only Sane Woman to Lilac, Carol and Milla, Took a Level in Kindness, Not So Above It All, Has a genuine fondness for Milla who she warms up to, Mighty Glacier, Earth Elemental, Purple Is Powerful
  • Domains: Ice, Law, Order, Good, Paranoia, Earth
  • Herald: General Gong
  • Allies: Commander Torque, Weiss Schnee, Blaze The Cat, Tangle the Lemur and Whisper The Wolf (The latter of which she also pities), Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles The Echidna, Sally Acorn, Rotor Walrus, Cream The Rabbit, Shadow The Hedgehog, Maria Robotnik, Po, Mulan, Aqua, Terra, Ventus, Sly Cooper, The Panda King, Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Crystal, Princess Zelda, Judge Dredd, Sub-Zero, Krystal, Sayaka Miki, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ky Kiske
  • Fire-Forged Friends and True Companions with: SASH LILAC, CAROL TEA AND MILLA BASSET (The latter of which is her Morality Chain)
  • Enemies: LORD BREVON, Fecto Forgo, Philip Wittebane/Emperor Belos, Dr. Eggman, Esdeath, HYDRA, Toffee, Prime Minister Honest, Penelope Mouse, Abaddon The Despoiler, Oryx The Mad God, Ragyo Kiryuin, Marx, Shan-Yu, Vanitas, Black Doom, The Joker, Porky Minch, Seryu Ubiquitous
  • Opposes: All Criminals, Regardless of Alignment, Magolor, Gerald Robotnik
  • Good Counterpart to: General Serpentine
  • Neera Li is one of the Generals of Shang-Tu, serving under the Royal Magister alongside fellow General, Gong. Very distrusting of the gang at first, she has them imprisoned, but by the time the Magister found that she was incorrect and their claims were true, havoc had already broken lose. Neera was defeated by Lilac, Carol and Milla in the Jade Creek when she tried to prevent them from escaping, for one. Lilac would end up tortured in the Thermal Base and Neera found her near-dead upon barely escaping being killed by Lord Brevon and had others heal her. Eventually, after helping defeat Brevon’s forces and the brainwashed Prince Dail in Battle Glacier, she stays on the ground to help finish the fight while Lilac, Carol, Milla and Torque storm the Final Dreadnought. She ended up nursing Milla back to health after she was forcibly mutated by Brevon and bonds with the girl.
    • Three years later, Brevon’s two generals who were still on Avalice even after he left, General Serpentine and Syntax, and Merga, all make their move to destroy the planet, and Neera officially allies herself with Lilac, Carol and Milla, who she’d grown closer to over the course of three years. Neera Li was distrustful of everyone around her except for Lilac, Carol and Milla during this journey and waiting for her suspicions on certain people and events to be true or not. Most of the time it was the latter, but she was well aware that she could be wrong. After having to deal with Serpentine and Syntax alongside the others, she loses her cool for the very first time when Askal betrays her and Shang-Tu and Merga conquers it, causing her to try and storm in and fight her herself, only being restrained by the others. Eventually fighting Askal and defeating him, she restrains herself, decides against killing him, and helps Lilac, Carol and Milla defeat Merga, who Neera addresses with sympathy upon learning of her past via a message left by Cordelia. When Syntax hijacks the Bakunawa and begins to try and harvest Avalice’s moon and then wipe out all life on Avalice in Brevon’s name, the four and Merga work together to destroy the Syntax-Fused Bakunawa. In the end, the Royal Magister decided to stand down from his position as Regent and Ruler of Shang-Tu, and offered the position to Neera Li. Shocked and reluctant at first, she accepts when her friends encourage her, promising to remain faithful to him and ensure a better future for their people.
  • One day, the House of Dread and Valor came under attack by some of the Eggman/Robotnik Empire’s forces. The ones attacking consisted of many Badniks, an Egg Genesis, hordes of SWATBots, Thunderbolt The Chinchilla and Vermin The Cybernik. Sticks the Jungle Badger, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sally Acorn, Rotor Walrus, Knuckles The Echidna and Miles “Tails” Prower came to help the defense. Even then, once they had been dealt with, though not without some difficulty, but unfortunately, a replica made from a replica Phantom Ruby appeared, and it was of a foe the latter two never wanted to see again…Commander Brutus, who Eggman and his incarnations kept under their control with a threat of destruction should he attempt to double-cross them, as they could do so with a simple move using the machine Modern Eggman built to do this, which was powered by the replica Ruby. Brutus handily overpowered all of them at once due to his Made of Indestructium nature until Tails remembered that Brutus was explicitly weak to Liquid Nitrogen and Ice. Striking a "Eureka!" Moment and remembering talks he had with Lilac, Carol and Milla, he quickly managed to convince Shadow to use Chaos Control to teleport them both to Dragon Valley before Tails took off towards Shang-Tu. Eventually, they returned, alongside a female panda, who was Neera Li. She yelled one word.
    • Ice, frost and mist emerged from the staff she held, Tails creatively used a device he picked up from the House of Machinery and Technology, getting in and out quickly thanks to Shadow, to break most of the attacks down into Liquid Nitrogen as it was the only way to damage his impenetrable outside. The Liquid Nitrogen covered the Invincible Badnik, who was currently grappling with knuckles, before he received a strike to his chest from the ice Tails didn’t melt, which was followed up by a Chaos Spear fired by Shadow. Thanks to this Combination Attack, Brutus took genuine damage in this fight for the very first time, and everyone piled upon him and attacked the wound across his chest. Eventually, they destroyed him from the inside, and as thanks, Tails properly had her ascended to the Pantheon but warned her of future attacks against her from Eggman in retaliation, but also told the Panda Girl that they and Sonic (who was currently busy fighting Metal Sonic, who was serving as a distraction, elsewhere) would be there to help. While she prefers to work alone aside from Lilac, Carol and Milla, she accepted this as she had warmed up to the latter and has begun to grow out of her loner mentality, and witnessed firsthand how tough it was to bring the Phantom Brutus down. She then headed towards the Hall of Game Mechanics after learning that Lilac, Carol and Milla resided there, unaware of a showdown against a Masked Boy and a certain snake that begun taking place there at the same time as her arrival…
    • …In which she arrived too late after the fight concluded, and ran into Milla, who was busy protecting any defeated people as well as providing support for others against any remaining Unversed. Milla recognized her almost instantly, but Neera quickly reminded that it wasn’t the time to talk at the moment, but they proceeded to do so once the remaining Unversed were dealt with. While Milla was surprised at her arrival, she was questioned by the Hound about how she got there. While explaining the situation that happened at the House of Dread and Valor. She sighed in annoyance when Milla told her that Serpentine finally managed to follow her, Carol and Lilac to the Pantheon, but figured it could’ve been worse; At least it wasn’t Syntax.
  • Milla was very happy to see her friend ascend, and quickly reintroduced her to Lilac and Carol after the damage caused by the fight against the Masked Boy, who was Vanitas, and General Serpentine, was dealt with. Lilac and Carol were happy to see their friend in the Pantheon, though the latter is still mildly annoyed that she called the Dragon Girl running off, as she put it, to be “Pulling a Carol.” She became Fire-Forged Friends with Carol and Lilac, and bonded with Milla Basset over the span of the three years between Brevon’s attack and the Merga incident. When told Torque was in the Pantheon, she opted not to meet him at the moment considering they didn’t interact much and one of the times they did, he was wrongly imprisoned, and unlike with Lilac, Carol and Milla, she and the green extraterrestrial never got to know each other after that. A small part of her, however, was curious as to why he was there in the Pantheon given what the three told her about him. And she had the displeasure of discovering why a few days later. Torque was in the Pantheon because Lord Brevon was also present there, and he was trying to track down and help fight back against Lord the Evil Overlord. She quickly decided that they all needed to meet together to discuss it, and how Brevon was almost certainly The Man Behind the Man alongside Vanitas to the attack on the House of Gaming. Torque told the four that he’d deduced Brevon had Serpentine gain an official position to strengthen his own forces, which Neera agreed is likely true. However, between the atrocities he’s committed in space, on Avalice and in the Pantheon, she has vowed to help bring the tyrant down for good.
  • A firm believer of preserving Law and Justice, Neera Li distrusts many of the Pantheon’s reformed criminals and villains, so she keeps her guard up around them. Some like Zuko have accepted that, knowing that trust and redemption has to be earned, some accepting and believing it faster than others. While she is not under the Felony Misdemeanor or All Crimes Are Equal mentality, she does still wish Lilac and Carol did get some form of punishment for their time in the Red Scarves even if the consequence was small. That being said she tends to see regular criminals as something she’ll leave to others with one exception; The Joker, who once became ambassador of Iran and while he has no powers, has learned of how dangerous he can be. She’s been working with Batman, who is also an Improperly Paranoid person on the side of good, on finally locking him away. She has also vowed to protect her land and Kingdom, something a few people have learned the hard way ever since she ascended.
    • One such incident that occurred ended up with Shan-Yu trying to invade Shang-Tu with his armies. It didn’t end well for him. Unlike Neera, he had no options for long range attacks, and he really didn’t want to turn into a Heartless again any time soon. He ended up imprisoned in the dungeons, though it didn’t last thanks to Porky Minch, who was interested in working with Shan-Yu, having some Pigmasks blow open the wall. She’s well aware that Esdeath wants to fight her to prove her Ice abilities to be superior, and has begun preparing the Kingdom of Shang-Tu. She really can’t stand the general’s immense Sadism. However, she did cause Seryu Ubiquitous to have a Villainous Breakdown when she froze Kuro…and then demonstrating her power of ice, shattered him and his core with her staff. There wasn’t enough left of him to keep helping his master fight Neera. She, admittedly, did try to reason with Seryu, recognizing how she used to act in the girl, and when she refused and tried to kill her, she shattered Kuro and knocked her out before handing her to some of the Pantheon’s proper authorities as she doesn’t want to deal with the political headache or potential war that the Empire could gladly cause her. She escaped from her cell a few minutes after she woke up. This incident only made Esdeath more interested in fighting her.
  • Neera Li is not afraid to use underhanded tactics to come out victorious over her opponents, and ESPECIALLY if she’s angry or they’ve made it personal. She, while firmly on the side of the good, will not show restraint to her foes beyond not killing them. She’s…paranoid regarding people around her, including those with criminal pasts, and she hasn’t been right about it all that much. The one time she was, it led into the Darkest Hour of the adventure against Merga. That being said, the biggest crime one could commit in her eyes is treachery for a malevolent person or purpose, and she knows all too well what that’s like because of when Askal betrayed her and Shang-Tu to Merga. It took all of her willpower not to outright murder him after she confronted and defeated him. As traitors are first and foremost on her list of enemies, Penelope Mouse has all but earned her scorn, and even though he’s a criminal, she’s willing to work with the Cooper Gang against her. Yes, she hates treachery that much, and it helps that the Cooper Gang, unlike most criminals, isn’t malevolent but benevolent, saving the world multiple times, defeating Clockwerk being the most notable instance.
    • Abaddon the Despoiler, Marx, Ragyo Kiryuin and Oryx The Mad God disgusted her even more due to them selling out EVERYTHING around them. She knows she can’t defeat any of them in a fight, though Oryx’s minions aren’t so lucky, and she once ended up having to help Kirby, Meta Knight and King Dedede keep Marx, who was utilizing his Marx Soul form, from stealing the Dream Stone. Fecto Forgo’s taken an interest in her but hasn’t acted yet. After he Failed a Spot Check last time he went after people from her world, one of them having been hanging out with Kirby when he attacked, he decided he’d rather be patient and strike when he’s absolutely sure nobody can get to him in time. She sees Specimen IDF86 as a disgusting monster who deserved everything that happened to him. And she isn’t wrong at all. She doesn’t trust Magolor either, given he tried to conquer the universe and possibly beyond, even if he’s gone straight. At the moment, though, she’s been trying to help keep the Master Crown from coming into the Pantheon after The Reveal of its sentience.
  • Regarding racists and conquerors, she vehemently opposes Emperor Belos. His absolute hatred of anything non-human, and even then hating any human who’s confirmed they don’t agree with his ways, was absolutely deplorable and reminded her of Merga’s worst qualities. She knows full well he’ll want to destroy Shang-Tu and as a result of all of this loathes the man. Toffee outright despises Magic and Mewmans and wants to slaughter them, and she doesn’t have a high opinion of him either. HYDRA, however, is the worst offender in her opinion. Their refusal to disappear into history, their many, many obscene crimes and depraved members, and just how deep the organization runs caused her to lose her stoicism briefly. Last but not least is Porky Minch, a childish brat who tried to kill all life on Earth because he was bored, and is absolutely infuriated with Fassad, one of the boy’s heralds, for betraying his family and the planet.
  • While she opposes Gerald Robotnik for what he’s done, she won’t outright try to kill, fight or bother the man given Maria’s ascension caused him to heavily rethink what he was doing and ultimately stop many of his plans, at least the ones that would result in complete and total Omnicide, in her name. She actually is fairly close to Maria, though Shadow tends to keep an eye on her. Regarding others like Tails or Sally, she pities them because of that one time Fiona Fox betrayed them, and can relate to it. Blaze The Cat, however, she got along with the most. While she’s a Playing with Fire type rather than having ice powers like Neera, she noticed that their meetings with Sonic and Lilac respectively were very, very similar. She was outraged upon learning what Mimic did to Whisper and offered to help the Wolf, who she feels sympathy for, and her friend Tangle should the Octopus ever arrive.
    • Of course, with friends from there, she was also bound to gain enemies as well. Black Doom, a Galactic Conqueror and Evil Overlord alien much like Brevon, she learned about from Shadow and her own friends, and his goals are far more intimate than Brevon’s ever were. She’s enemies will all of Eggman’s incarnations, though the SatAM and Archie ones hit the top of that list for her due to their betrayal of the Acorn Kingdom and coup to Take Over the World. A coup that succeeded, and they each ruled the world for years on end with not many people around to stop them. She also opposes the Modern Eggman for similar reasons. Of course, given how she ascended, she knows not underestimate the man or his creations as that’s a surefire way to get herself killed.
  • An avid user of ice, she was bound to encounter others who were the same. While Esdeath is interested in fighting her, she ended up meeting Weiss Schnee. Weiss, while not an ice user in a traditional sense, favors that king of Dust and noticed some similarities between Neera and her older sister Winter, who Weiss hopes comes some day. She’s also befriended Sub-Zero, Krystal and Crystal, the latter of which after a rocky start…involving ice and magic flying everywhere in the Hall of Water and Moisture. Weiss in particular has become a sort of Morality Chain for the girl much like with Milla, and while not related to ice, both Fluttershy and Cream the Rabbit have as well after the Hound introduced the Panda Girl to them.
  • The Royal Magister having given up his position to Neera, she’s found herself relating to many of the Pantheon’s royals. Zelda sees herself in the Panda Girl, and Princesses Celestia and Luna are more than willing to help her if she asks for it, and Neera managed to become allies with all three of them. While annoyed with the aforementioned Dedede’s Jerkass tendencies, she noticed that he does ultimately care about his people, and the Waddle Dees like him right back. She would do anything provided it doesn’t harm anyone who isn’t villainous or doesn’t have anything to do with Shang-Tu to protect her land and her people, and while Dedede was helpless in the face of threats like Sectonia, Star Dream and Fecto Forgo, caring for and willing to stand up for your citizens is a quality she respects. Even though they aren’t royalty, this is also why she respects Meta Knight and Kirby so much for helping the citizens of Dream Land and ultimately keeping the ones around them safe, even if she’s a bit weirded out by the latter’s ambiguous connection to Void Termina.
”It would be my honor to accept this duty. I will not fail our people, nor leave our lands undefended.”

Lesser Gods

    Lord Djibril
Lord Djibril, God of Dirty Cowards

  • Symbol: The LOGOS Logo
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil/Stupid Evil
  • Portfolio: Hate Sink, Bad Boss, Lack of Empathy, General Failure, Hair-Trigger Temper, War for Fun and Profit, The Sociopath, Dirty Coward, Evil Is Hammy, Diabolical Mastermind, Psychotic Smirk, Would Hurt a Child

  • Allies: Nobuyuki Sugou, Ali Al-Saachez (for now), Muruta Azrael, Sundowner, HYDRA, Millennium, SHOCKER
  • Headbutting Villains with: Ryoma Sengoku
  • Enemies: All heroic Gundam deities (especially Kira Yamato, Lacus Clyne, Setsuna F. Seiei, and Aila Jyrkiäinen), All Ascended Toku Heroes, Axel Almer & Lamia Loveless, Ryu Hayabusa, Yuuki Konno, The Punisher, Batman, Kiritsugu Emiya, Dexter Morgan, Kaito Kumon, Bowser, Raul Menendez, Jason Todd, Daffy Duck
  • Evil Counterpart to: Valvatorez
  • Opposes: Piglet
  • Opposed by: Shinn Asuka, Makoto Itou, Kotonoha Katsura, Sekai Saionji
  • Hate is a word that can easily be used to describe this man. Djibril shares as much, if not more, hatred towards the Coordinators as his predecessor, Muruta Azrael. Many others hate Djibril not for how remorseless he is in what he does, but also for not being as competent as Muruta. There's also the fact that Djibril retreats without regard of his soldiers whenever things turn south for him (and he tends to come back later with more apparently dangerous plans).
  • Like Muruta, Djibril has found work at SHOCKER, having a role similar to that as Muruta's. However, Djibril is even more difficult to work with given his tendencies and there have been instances where his (arguably idiotic) actions have cost SHOCKER some battles against various heroes. Both Doctor Shinigami and Ryoma Sengoku had cited this as the reason why they can't tolerate working with Djibril.
    • Regardless, Djibril was able to get Nobuyuki Sugou to work alongside him (provided that Ryoma is not in the same room as them). Djibril has even mentioned that something about Sugou reminded him of Neo Roanoke, whom he relied on for his plans.
  • For the most part, he tends to be in a room that contains multiple TV monitors, presumably to hear about other going-ons throughout the Pantheon. It is in that room that Djibril carries out his plans and whenever he isn't at SHOCKER's headquarters, he usually communicates with his allies from that room.
  • Unsurprisingly, his actions made him an enemy of Gundam heroes (of particular note is Aila Jyrkiäinen, who hates him over the whole brainwashing thing). What is a little more surprising is the fact that a number of other Gundam deities who aren't that heroic also hate him. In particular, Treize Khushrenada finds Djibril to be despicable on multiple levels.
  • One notable rumor about Djibril is that he often gets involved in wars just to make a profit. Regardless of whether that's true or not, he's found a pretty good business partner in Sundowner, who has occasionally helped Djibril with getting enough funds to make more superweapons.
    • Djibril's presumed attitude about war also earned him the animosity of those who hate war such as Kiritsugu Emiya. They've even gone as far as to cite Djibril's actions as to why war is a horrible thing.
  • The Toku heroes, primarily the Kamen Riders, quickly decided that he is a threat to be eliminated after learning of how he worked for LOGOS, a terrorist organization not that different from SHOCKER in terms of cruelty.
  • Many war commanders, especially the good-aligned ones, detest him for not only his poor treatment for his mooks, but also for not being that smart. Even Mori Motonari, who is notorious for his disregard towards his subordinates, doesn't like Djibril at all for lacking any sort of style whatsover.
    • This animosity against him is also shared by those who are mooks working for someone and it can be argued that their hatred of Djibril is even greater than that of their hatred towards Muruta.
  • As someone who is responsible for making a program that takes children by force and turns them into dangerous soldiers, Djibril earned many enemies from those who are protective of children. In particular, people such as The Punisher, Jason Todd, and Dexter Morgan are more than willing to take down Djibril if given the opportunity to do so.
  • The fact that Djibril often leaves whenever he's about to lose earned him a lot of enemies. One notable enemy in that regard is Yuuki Konno, who hates him for being so underhanded in his tactics and the fact that he's associated himself with Sugou, who she already despises.
    • Despite being a self-admitted coward himself, even Daffy Duck is unamused with Djibril entirely. While Daffy does have a few friends to at least turn to, Djibril would simply leave his associates in a bad position whenever such a thing arises.
  • Djibril once met up with Raul Menendez and the former tried to get the latter to work with him. Menendez was against the offer as not only was Djibril lacking in certain aspects, but the fact that Djibril was basically in charge of a program that turned children into ruthless soldiers greatly offended Menendez to the point that the two have become highly antagonistic towards each other. That, and Menendez had a reason to do what he is planning to do whilst Djibril mostly did his actions out of racism against a certain kind.
  • He is rather amused at the fact that Ali Al-Saachez was involved with creating a separate army of child soldiers just for chaos. In turn, Ali found Djibril's tendencies to be entertaining and has considered working for him. Needless to say, this possible alliance immediately made Djibril a target for Setsuna F. Seiei.
  • Ryu Hayabusa is incredibly disturbed at this man over his actions and willingness to do whatever it takes to eliminate the opposition. There's another reason why the ninja hates Djibril.
  • Those who have a leadership role towards their subordinates quickly detested Djibril for completely disregarding that aspect of leadership in favor of just trying to win for personal gain. This included deities like Bowser who, despite not having the best temper around (compared to Djibril who could snap rather easily), is rather reasonable to his mooks.
  • Valvatorez absolutely despises Djibril for not only treating subordinates like trash, but for exploiting wars for personal gain, something that Val can't stand. In fact, many are convinced that these two are complete opposites in terms of mook treatment and outlook of war.

  • Friendly With: The House of Ghosts (C most notably)
  • The Ghost Gang, consisting of Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde, are considered gaming's first proper A.I enemies and are arguably just as recognizable as Pac-Man himself. Initially starting out as generic "monsters" chasing Pac throughout a maze, they've since evolved into a pack of specters who spend their time terrorizing others, with Pac-Man either being the target of said terror or just him stepping in to stop them. Occasionally they've helped a bigger evil try and take over Pac-Man's world, with the four acting as their minions and Quirky Miniboss Squad, though at least once said evil was so great they reluctantly teamed up with Pac-Man to stop them. While their exact thoughts on Pac have varied over the years, either considering him their greatest foe or treating their conflicts like a 9-to-5 job, They've almost always represented the bad guys Pac-Man must beat to win. Almost.
  • They first made themselves known to The Pantheon doing what they do best: hiding in mazes or otherwise cramped buildings and domains and terrorizing anyone that steps foot in there. They mostly stuck with bothering Lesser or weaker deities, though they'll occasionally tangle with Intermediate ones if they were feeling brave. Either way, most victims noted that they weren't a joke despite their silly appearances, as they were fully capable of flanking or organizing ambushes to catch their victims. It didn't take long for the news to reach Pac-Man, who pretty much immediately knew what was happening once he heard about ghosts in mazes and so took off to put an end to their shenanigans locating and countering their strategies while systematically eating them one by one. Unfortunately for Pac, by the time they fled he found out that they were summoned to The Pantheon to get the title Blue with Shock, thanks to them, well, becoming blue when scared. The Ghosts shenanigans haven't changed much after properly ascending, save for their hauntings becoming more sporadic in favor of them targeting Pac-Man more.
  • As for their relationship with Pac-Man, it tends to very for the most part. On a normal day they're opposed to each other, but just how opposed tends to change. Sometimes the ghosts hate Pac enough that they intentionally summon that game's villain just to kill them, other times they're just doing their jobs as ghosts and are more or less strong-armed into schemes by a more scarier villain. If nothing else Pac-Man himself is consistently shown to not really mind them, considering them annoyances at worst with him focusing on whoever their boss is at the moment. Of course, there's the inevitable kart races and party games that the ghosts are invited to without problem or complaint, but at this point that kind of thing's expected for mascots like them. More recently, both parties discovered an alternate universe/potential future where the Ghost Gang are straight good guys and friends of Pac-Man's son Pacster, secretly helping him fight their abusive ruler Betrayus. The Gang aren't too sure what to feel about this even on their best days, but Pac himself thought it was more funny than anything and has joked that they'd get along great with his own son.
  • Despite the Gang not really being the ambitious sort, they've still been involved with countless large-scale attempts at conquering Pac-Man's world via becoming the minions of the villains responsible. Sometimes they've joined for a chance to get back at Pac, sometimes they were basically strong-armed into doing so, and occasionally they were actually the ones responsible for bringing the villain in. Regardless, they've resumed their habits in The Pantheon, as whenever they're not just terrorizing others they're helping some other Big Bad try and take over the Pantheon, often of (but not limited to) the specter variety. While they're generally compliant with whatever boss they have, with someone like King Boo it's a complicated case:: when he's just a minion of Bowser they're perfectly fine with him, but whenever he's fixated on taking revenge on Luigi he becomes much more ruthless and cruel to a degree that freaks out even them, and as such they end to sit out on his more destructive schemes.
  • Some gods aren't quite sure if the Gang are really ghosts or not, and if they are they deviate from the usual stereotypes quite a bit: they can't go through walls, are considered a separate species from Pac-People altogether, and their first outing treated them more as generic "monsters" wearing sheets. Still, with each game they get progressively more ghost-like, starting with them being plainly labeled "ghosts" and going from there, so both gaming and The Pantheon lump them with other ghosts for the sake of simplicity. For what it's worth, they get along just fine with most other ghosts, at least the ones that are just as enthusiastic about scaring as they are. Beetlejuice, a ghost that specializes in spooking people, thinks the Gang are good company and has invited them to help terrorize whoever he was hired to scare, and while his Dirty Old Man antics are a bit gross to them they otherwise think of him as a fine example of a ghost. Suprisingly, they get along fairly well with the Bedsheet Ghost C, possibly because of their similar appearances, though they usually try to convince him to go scare some people, which the passive C just finds annoying but otherwise tolerates their presence.
    • Most notably, the Gang have managed to get on the good side of the particularly vicious ghost child Spooky. The story goes that Pac-Man and the gang were doing their usual thing when all of a sudden, Spooky shows up with a knife and tried to stab Pac-Man. While Pac managed to escape, it was barely with his life and he was notably much more intimidated by her than he was with the Gang. Naturally, they were impressed and approached Spooky, who explained that she had a mission to create a whole ghost army to Take Over the World with so ghosts like her can finally be seen as scary, and came to recruit the Gang to her cause, knowing their enthusiasm for scares. The Gang immediately agreed and are now awaiting the day Spooky launches her scheme so they can terrorize as many people as they want.
  • Compared to other specters in The Pantheon, the Gang are generally seen as some of the less dangerous "evil" ghosts: they focus more on scaring and causing shenanigans than really hurting people when acting on their own accord, making them easier to deal with than other ghosts. That's not to say they're harmless, as they're more than willing to defend themselves when pushed and can be tricky to catch, but they all have a set pattern to their behavior that can be exploited. The Pantheon's most famous spook-catchers, the Ghostbusters, have had a few cases involving the Gang, and while the first time around the Gang gave them some trouble thanks to their maze navigating skills, the Ghostbusters figured out the aforementioned pattern and afterwards are able to capture them just fine, though the Gang have shown quite a knack for escaping to spook another day. Half-ghost hero Danny Phantom also had a few encounters with the Gang and considers them more of a nuisance than anything, helped by the fact that Danny can just go through their mazes while the ghosts cannot, which the gang consider cheating. There was also the time where they tried scaring Luigi after finding out of his fear of ghosts, but what they somehow didn't know was his Poltergust 300 and how willing Luigi was to use it, resulting in the gang becoming paintings for E. Gadd for a few hours before escaping.
  • If there's one thing that they're as good as Pac-Man at, it's navigating mazes, showing the same skills as Pac-Man at identifying and memorizing where they are no matter the maze. Where they really shine is using their design to flank others for a quick scare/kill, which is where they're at their most dangerous as they're also very good at it. Pac's usually able to avoid them just because he knows them and their "patterns" really well, and even he's admitted that they managed to get him a few times. As soon as the gang ascended, they were immediately contacted by the Devil of Devil World, who had repeated fights with Pac-Man and wanted revenge on him, ruling over a maze world that Pac constantly dominated. Thinking it would be a fun way to kill some time, the Gang agreed and can occasionally be seen in his world, adaptig their usual techniques to the ever-changing maze. Not only has Pac-Man tangled with both parties, they've also targeted others who got lost in Devil Worl, and they've admitted they make it much more trickier as well.
  • Being popular gaming characters with an important history, they've naturally played a role in the Smash Bros. tourneys, starting when Pac-Man joined the roster. While they aren't proper fighters, they play a number of roles: Pac-Man's actually able to summon them for attacks for starters, resulting from a temporary truce they made with Pac so they can be there to begin with. They themselves star in their own assist trophy, coming out to wander the battlefield as usual, even retaining their usual patterns during it. Finally, some versions come with their home maze as a stage, translated as a series of platforms transplanted over the iconic maze itself. Of course, their role in Smash resulting in them being some of many, many victims of Galeem and Dharkon's war, turning them into spirits that would attack others. They obviously found the whole thing unplesant and are willing to continue their truce with Pac-Man whenever Galeem tries anything funny again.
  • As with all Arcade characters, they have enough respect for Wreck-It Ralph and Fix-It Felix to leave them alone thanks to the two saving the arcade from being Cy-Bug chow, even when the two wander into their territory. Their respect for Ralph was also present even before Ralph saved the arcade thanks to Clyde: he used to hold "Bad-Anons" for other arcade villains so they can feel better about being the bad guy as part of their job. Clyde was notably more soft-spoken and intelligent back there and even expressed sympathy for Ralph's reluctance for his role, though he still encouraged Ralph to stick to the role. As soon as they ascended Clyde tried starting another Bad-Anon for other reluctant villains, only to see that Punch Clock Villains are much more rare in The Pantheon than it was in the Arcade. Still, they remain good buddies with Ralph, who has also invited them over to Fix-It Felix's game to spice it up.
  • B.J. Blazkowicz is rather annoyed at seeing the four ghosts again, as they have terrorized him twice during his escape from Castle Wolfenstein. Sometimes the four take a break from chasing Pac-Man to chase him instead.

    Koba
Koba, God of Paranoia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/koba_4991.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His facial scars
  • Theme Music: Close Encounters of the Furred Kind
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Bastard Bonobo, Hates Humans, The Sociopath, Obviously Evil, Only Caring About his Desire for Revenge, A Monster from Years of Experimentation and Torture, Starting Out as a Friend to the Hero before Betraying Him and Staging it to Make it Look Like the Humans Did It, The Lucifer to Caesar's Messiah
  • Domains: Hatred, Hypocrisy
  • Allies: Doctor Zaius, Napoleon, Scar
  • Enemies: Caesar, King Kong, Winston, Simba, Humanity in general (notably Dr. Eggman, Dr. Cortex, N. Brio, Julius Caesar)
  • Very Difficult Relations: Mojo Jojo
  • If there's one thing that's always going through Koba's mind, it's that humans are horrible beings that deserve to die, no matter how well-meaning they actually are. This dangerous mindset can be traced back to years of being abused and neglected at a laboratory. After being liberated by Caesar and aiding in the rebellion, Koba became a close ally of Caesar, but such a thing wasn't going to last much longer. Koba, unable to let go of his hatred of humans, tried to murder Caesar while the latter was just trying to help humans have a peaceful coexistence between humans and primates. After convincing a number of members of Caesar's tribe to go after the humans, Koba unleashed his bloodthirsty tendencies on not just humans, but apes who did not agree to his actions. While he was eventually killed by Caesar, Koba's actions were something that would have very nasty repercussions for everyone involved, especially Caesar.
  • A monkey with facial scars showed up one day in the Pantheon, seemingly minding his own business. Crash Bandicoot, who just so happened to be relaxing at the time, noticed him and, remembering what he told Caesar about showing Koba the Pantheon, decided to follow through on his word and give Koba a tour of the Pantheon, of which the ape agreed to. Caesar, having come back from an excursion, learned about what Crash and Koba were doing and, upon realizing that the latter might try to do something bad to Crash, had to try and make sure the bandicoot didn't cause unwitting trouble.
    • Surprisingly enough, the tour went through without a lot of problems, if only because of Koba pretending to act harmless in front of Crash (though Koba did show visible anger towards some of the more scientific deities they were around, but Crash was able to make sure Koba didn't go to crazy those times). By the time the pair went to the House of Weapons, that was when things started to fall apart. Koba went off on his own when Crash wasn't looking and went to a place where there were a large amount of firearms. It looked like the place was unguarded and Koba was able to get his paws on a couple of guns, but a couple of people who were asked to guard the place had to rush in and stop him from stealing anything. Koba simply shot them in response and Crash, having just realized that Koba was definitely not a good guy, had to fight him to prevent any more trouble from happening.
      • Crash and Koba's confrontation went on for a bit, but it ended with a lot of bullet holes, a tired Koba, and an upset Caesar, who had just managed to catch up to the two. Caesar made it clear that what Koba did back when he was alive was nothing short of atrocious and that even if he acknowledges that some humans are as bad as Koba claims, Caesar still prioritizes the goodwill of both humans and primates alike and will stop Koba from causing any further damage. As for Crash, Caesar stated that he should have told him sooner about Koba's true nature and that another fight between the two is possible.
  • Not only does Koba vehemently despise humans, but he also has it out against apes that don't support his beliefs to the point that he's willing to imprison or murder any "followers" that question him. Given that most of the primates in the Pantheon are already friends with Caesar, Koba is more than willing to threaten those primates and Caesar's aforementioned friends don't like Koba at all.
    • He really does not get why King Kong, despite being a neutral figure in the long run, would be friends with Caesar. According to Koba, with all that power, Kong should be trying to crush those that stand in his way. An attempted meetup between Koba and Kong ended very badly for the former. Koba bringing a couple of firearms to his planned meeting in an attempt to convince Kong certainly didn't help.
    • Winston has nothing positive to say at all when it comes to Koba, seeing as how he embodies the worst aspects of the apes Winston was with that revolted back on the moon and going a step further by instigating a violent war just to kill humans no matter what they did. Winston has offered to fight Koba and stop him from causing any further damage.
    • Even Mojo Jojo, who is one of the only other antagonistic apes of the Pantheon, sees Koba as far too unhinged and violent for his own good. It's true that both were normal apes before they gained intelligence through different means, but whereas Mojo Jojo is capable of showing politeness every now and then, Koba simply uses that attitude as a facade if it means getting close to his goals. Koba has actually tried getting Mojo Jojo to embrace his more violent tendencies, but Mojo Jojo really doesn't want to be within vicinity of him.
  • Much of Koba's actions have been compared to that of Scar's. Both partook in a plot to usurp someone from their positions and used it to cause misery for everyone else involved. Their reigns of terror ended when confronted by the rightful leader that was presumed dead initially by some others. Scar found Koba to be a very interesting monkey and both are willing to aid each other in their goals. Simba, knowing what it's like to be on the wrong end of an usurption plot, saw Koba to be just as bad, if not worse, than Scar and made it a point to stop them.
  • Napoleon saw a lot of himself in Koba, specifically how they are animals seeking power and becoming tyrannical to their respective groups in order to prove their superiority towards humans, up to and including exhibiting human-like traits at the apex of their insanity. Koba being far more open in his violence has also got the pig's attention and he is willing to use the ape in his goals. Koba is all too willing to oblige if it means shooting at anyone who gets in the way of their alliance.
  • If there is one kind of human that he hates the most, then it would be those who have had a history of experimenting with animals, especially if its for selfish purposes. Dr. Eggman stuffing animals inside machines is more than enough to get Koba even more angry than normal and this is not getting into the plans that Dr. Cortex and N. Brio have at hand. While Crash has fought against the latter two a number of times before, Koba seems to have greater antagonism towards them than Crash could have.
  • One day, Koba was on the run from a group of hunters out to get him. While seeking a hiding place, he ended up in a secret shop headed by a shadow known as Krobus. Koba used this opportunity to feign friendliness to see if Krobus had anything worthwhile to say. Krobus mentioned that he doesn't think too highly of humans that his species apparently had unpleasant encounters with them, something that interested Koba greatly. The ape did go through Krobus' shop to see if there was anything useful, but there wasn't and Krobus had to stop him from damaging the shop. Their meeting ended with Krobus telling Koba that even if he acknowledges Koba's description of what humanity could be, it's only because Koba hasn't tried taking a chance to seriously meet a human to see what they're like, since Krobus did meet a couple of human shopkeepers and became friends with them.
  • Despite being a victim of torture, most others (both torture victims and otherwise) in the Pantheon find if very hard to sympathize with him due to using that as an excuse to perform terrible actions. To make things even worse, even if Koba were told that humans have been tortured through no fault of their own, not only would he go after the perpetrator, but also the tortured human.
    • An encounter with Renekton certainly didn't go the way Koba hoped for. Knowing about Renekton's insanity, Koba tried to convince him to help him out in getting revenge on humanity, but Renekton was already too insane to talk to at the moment and it led to Koba getting severe injuries. While Koba is aware it means that another meeting with Renekton won't happen anytime soon after recovering, he certainly doesn't mind if humans become a victim of Renekton's violence.
  • Pacifists, as well as those who hate war, are repulsed at the fact that Koba caused a war between apes and humans to break out when both sides, which were having a then-shaky coexistence, was getting close to resolving something. It certainly didn't help that all of this happened in the midst of a fatal epidemic that was killing off humans.
  • It came as a bit of a surprise to Koba that there were a couple of other beings also known as "Caesar", prompting him to look into things. Notably, his encounter with Julius Caesar went very poorly for the both of them. Julius hates Koba over how the latter's assassination attempt of Caesar the Ape brought back bad memories of Julius getting murdered by those he trusted previously. Julius Caesar being a human was simply enough for Koba to detest him. A potential fight between their armies (provided that Koba is able to build up one) is bound to get bloody.
  • While the House of Weapons is better-guarded than it was when Crash and Koba initially visited it, that hasn't stopped Koba from trying to see if there's better and stronger weapons to use in his crusade against humanity. If there's something potentially more terrifying than a gun-toting ape riding on a horse, it would be a sword-wielding ape riding on a horse. And there's the even-less-likely, but still dangerous possibility of an ape on horseback carrying both a gun and a sword.

  • Odd Friendship With: Jun Kazama, Maki Nishikino.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork With: Kaito Kumon/Kamen Rider Baron, Harold "Coop" Cooplowski
  • Enemies: Ryoma Sengoku/Kamen Rider Duke, Enter, the GUAE Trollkaiger, Gilgamesh, Ragyo Kiryuin, Monokuma and his Mastermind, SHOCKER
  • One of the Ascended Followers of Erza Scarlet, Satellizer made her way to the Pantheon due to her long history of being Haphephobic. Originally, she was feared by the whole school students of West Genetics due to her homicidal tendencies whenever she is touched until she met Kazuya Aoi, who becomes her unofficial Limiter and became less aphephobic due to a series of her development alongside Kazuya.
    • Even after her ascension she is still close friends with Erza.
  • She became close friends with Kouta Kazuraba as both of them shares a similar ideals of protecting the ones they care, including their respective friends and families, as well as both of them had the similar experience of being a broken person until they recover with a sheer determination.
  • She is somewhat surprisingly became friends with Gentaro Kisaragi and Eiji Hino as two of them are friendly and also nice to her. After she shares her stories to them, Satella was glad that the two Kamen Riders accepts her as an ally despite of her dark past.
  • Also became close allies with Naruto Uzumaki and Peter Parker as both three of them started out as heroes who were treated badly by other people around them until they manage to become more respectful figure to others.
  • She and Kazuya had made peace with her younger half-brother Louis, who is responsible for abusing her during her childhood, after she defeats Louis' Pandora partner Holly Rose in a fateful battle that causes her to overcome her biggest fear.
  • Was glad that Elizabeth Mably manage to ascend into the pantheon as both of them were once enemies due to Satella's retaliation on the 3rd year students of West Genetics until both of them became respected allies during the 10th Nova Clash.
  • She is also very close friends with Arturia Pendragon as both of them are swords women who were paired with a male partner.
  • Has a friendly rivalry with her ally Rana Linchen in a competition for Kazuya's affection, much to her chagrin. Until Rana made her ascension in the same house as Satellizer was glad to see her rival once again.
  • Became friends with Courage because the dog understands her fear initially due to the her troubled pasts.
  • She can be seen in the House of Food wolfing down numerous hamburgers. At this moment she holds the record for most hamburgers eaten in one sitting. Though Musashi seems to be competing for this title.
  • At one point, she bumps into Jun Kazama, who quickly became close friends in a odd way mostly due to their voices sounds similar to each other.
  • She doesn't like Coop's guts with all of her passion, mostly due to Coop being more chaotic than her while Coop has the same opinion on her, as he sees her as a "Ax-Crazy Burger Eater". The only thing they can get along is whenever they fight against evildoers everywhere.
  • Also doesn't get along with Kaito Kumon as she is not amuse of his tendencies of being a nominal hero while Kaito literally hates her guts as he literally sees her as a "weak person" due to what he heard of her fear of being touch by others. However they casts their differences whenever they act as a team, especially since they had the same common enemy in Ryoma Sengoku.
  • She became close friends with Ryuko Matoi due to the fact that both heroines are fighting otherworldly beings (The Novas and the Life Fibers). On top of that, she notice that Ryuko's voice is similar to her old enemy turned ally Ingrid Bernstein.
  • She gets along well with Sakura Matou due to their similar past and also encourage her to become stronger just like her. On the other hand, she dislikes Shinji Matou due to him being a rapist as he would dare to threaten her and/or her closest allies, she will give him the beating that he deserves.
  • As she fought Satella made several enemies in the pantheon, such as Ryoma Sengoku due to what she heard of him being a mad scientist who is willing to his own allies to further his own agenda including his quest for godhood through obtaining the Forbidden Fruit, Gilgamesh due to him being a evil prideful douchebag who only cares about himself, Ragyo Kiryuin since she betrayed humanity for allying herself with the Life Fibers, Monokuma and his Mastermind as both of them initiates a mutual killings in a certain school full of despair, and the Trollkaigers due to their atrocious acts in the pantheon. Due to this she will do anything to stop them so that history would not repeat itself in the pantheon.

    SCP-096
SCP-096, God of Not Liking Being Looked At (The Shy Guy)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/096.png
The safest possible view of SCP-096
  • Lesser God, Greater God when enraged (Euclid by SCP standards)
  • Symbol: Himself, turned backwards so as not to face the viewer
  • Theme Music: Chase
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Having a morality system based on its face, Creepily Long Arms, Not wanting to have its face to be looked at, Humanoid Abomination, The Juggernaut, Lean and Mean, Will not stop until it kills anyone who looked at its face, To Serve Man, Volumetric Mouth
  • Domains: Faces, Skinniness, Rage, Rampages
  • Contained by: The SCP Foundation
  • Interests: Majora, Jack of Blades
  • Allies: None, he tries not to interact with anyone
  • Enemies: Anyone who sees his face. More specifically? Excalibur, Medusa, The Weeping Angels, SCP-173, SCP-682, Ghatanothoa
  • Feared by: Cappy
  • Unclear opinion: The Boos
  • During the containment breach that resulted in SCP-106 ascending to the Pantheon, it was discovered that two other SCPs had also broken out. One was SCP-035, and the other was SCP-096. The Foundation's first priority was to find 096, not wanting to know what would happen if someone looked at its face.
  • SCP-096 was soon discovered wandering in the House of Anger, but unfortunately, Excalibur got too up in 096's face. Thankfully, the Foundation managed to get the other gods out of there without them looking at 096's face, while Excalibur dealt with 096's wrath. In the end, 096 was unable to kill anyone, thanks to, and including Excalibur, and thus 096 made the ﺧ益ﺨ face instead. Unfortunately, 096 was endorsed by Nekron, who desires to use 096's rampages for his own ends, and SCP-096 stayed in the Anger House once the Foundation rebuilt its containment chamber.
  • The SCP Foundation has advised everyone not to take photographs or any pictures of SCP-096. Artistic renderings won't trigger SCP-096, but it's probably best not to do so. And no, SCP-173 with a picture of SCP-096 is absolutely forbidden as a means of terminating SCP-682 or anything dangerous. Repeated suggestions for this will be demoted to D-Class. They tried getting 096 to terminate 682, 096 was traumatized afterwards.
  • Basically the polar opposite of the Boos. Neither of them like having their face looked at, however the Boos are paralyzed in fear while SCP-096 will go berserk. And while the Boos attack those who aren't looking, 096 is peaceful when its face isn't seen. There was a test to see what would happen if the two came in contact; as the Boos closed their eyes at the exact time SCP-096 turned its face, they didn't count as being seen and the two were paralyzed. At least until someone else saw SCP-096's face and it went on a rampage.
  • No relationship with the Shy Guys from the Super Mario Bros. series. SCP-096 isn't even properly sentient, it's just that the two don't want their face to be seen. At least, one hopes there's no relation. Mario deities are advised to stay far away from 096.
  • As it goes berserk even if the picture only has four discolored pixels, the Foundation tried to get it to attack SCP-173(who can't move if something's looking at it). SCP-173 was too fast and snapped it's neck, 173 healed and the cycle went on for about five hours before it escaped its cell. The Weeping Angels tried to gang up on SCP-096 and it proved a bloody stalemate that led both sides traumatized, the Angels unable to feed on it's potential life energy and SCP-096 unable to break them in their quantum-locked state.
  • As whoever looks at Medusa's face is petrified, she tried to pacify SCP-096. At first, it actually seemed to work as before 096 could get at her it turned to stone. Then the statue of SCP-096 started to move again, except now it was made of rock, making it even harder to deal with. Woops.
  • Majora and Jack of Blades were interested in SCP-096, due to its status as The Juggernaut. They want it to serve as their Big Dumb Body. The SCP Foundation is completely against this happening. It's theorized that while Jack of Blades wouldn't prevent SCP-096 from going berserk because the eyes would still be visible, as Majora would cover the whole face so no-one could look at it. Majora might be able to pull a Hijacking Cthulhu, but this would probably be much worse.
  • The Grand United Alliance of Good made a deal with the SCP Foundation to have Cappy be put on SCP-096 as a way to permanently pacify 096. They could trust the hat ghost. Unfortunately the Shy Guy's...nature caused Cappy to be in great pain, unable to exert any control and powerless whenever SCP-096 goes on a rampage. He was too traumatized to go anywhere near SCP-096 or anything Foundation-related again.
  • Theoretically you could pacify SCP-096 by putting a paper bag on its head. Don't tell them about it, they'll feel like massive idiots for not thinking about that first.

    Solidus Snake
George Sears, God of Properly-Placed Paranoia (Solidus Snake, King, The 43rd President of the United States, “Solid Snake”, GORGE, Son of Big Boss, Ol' Georgie Boy, Gas Snake, Octopussy, Scandalous Snake)

  • Portfolio: Anti-Villain, Raiden's Archnemesis Foster Dad, Cold Revenge on The Patriots, Child Soldier Who Grew Up to Create More Like Himself, Exoskeleton Suit with "Snake Arms", Wielding Two Swords

  • Complicated Relationships: Funny Valentine, Revolver Ocelot, Sundowner, Mistral, Monsoon, Satsuki Kiryuin and her Elite Four, Josiah "Jed" Bartlet
  • Enemies: Raiden (his foster son), Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, Steve Rogers/Captain America, Führer King Bradley, Father and his Homunculi, Esdeath, Seryu Ubiquitous
  • He started to realize just how far the Patriots' reach had extended, and decided to ascend and gain allies in his attempts to fight The Patriots. Though many think that he is only being paranoid, he has been shown to be right, as he showed the future in which The Patriots were in control.
  • He is the reason Raiden is Jack the Ripper. Because of that, Raiden will always be his enemy, and he has new, upgraded power armor to fight on his level.
  • When he was told that Revolver Ocelot was in The Pantheon, he, at first, was livid until he discovered what Ocelot was really after all along: The destruction of The Patriots, since then Solidus has offered Ocelot help, though he is often wary around him.
  • Is probably the only one of Big Boss's clones to not have a problem with Big Boss, instead visibly treating his progenitor with great respect.
  • Is trying to uphold the American ideals of freedom and equality for all. He will uphold that even if that means the deaths of hundreds.
  • He also absolutely hates any other member of the Pantheon that believes in attempting to hold absolute control, and do so over individual rights, as he thinks they are no better then The Patriots and must be killed. Any Ancient Conspiracy that seeks this out in some way or another are especially heinous to him.
    • One such target group would be the Homunculus Father and his arcane offspring, for what they have tried to do to their country of Amestris (and Father successfully did to his previous country Xerxes as a simple dwarf in a flask). Because of this, the moment they ascended their public Head of State, Führer-President King Bradley, he has sought opportunities to try to bring them down, including working with Satsuki Kiryuin and her Elite Four (who themselves have learned their lessons about this type of thing) with the specific intent to go after Bradley. He and Satsuki actually had Bradley dead-to-rights during said raid, only for two of Bradley's partners, Esdeath and Seryu Ubiquitous, to save the Führer.
  • Is often at odds with both his brothers Liquid and Solid. Liquid believes that there can only be one Boss and one Snake and has attempted to eliminate him at times, while Solid often thinks he is going too far as he has tried to stop him.
  • He does have good memories about the time he and Ocelot were talking about the plans for taking over Metal Gear during the Shadow Moses Incident.
  • President Jed Bartlet is said to be helping direct him and other American soldiers to try and take down groups like the Homunculi and the Patriots before they can repeat their atrocities in the Pantheon. He also works alongside President Funny Valentine as they have similar beliefs of what is good for The Country.

    Sticks the Jungle Badger

  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Shadow the Hedgehog, Princess Sally Acorn
  • Enemies: Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Sigma, Grand United Alliance of Machines, Kefka Palazzo, Ghetsis Harmonia, The Evilutionists of Mad Science, Black Doom, SCP-953, Solaris, Millennium, HYDRA, SHOCKER, Dr. Gero, Ultimate Reed Richards, Lord Recluse, E-101 Beta, Dr. Wily, Dr. Weil, Omega, Metallix, Fawful, Joker (Smile Precure)
  • Odd Friendship: Mega Man X, Zero, and Axl
  • Opposes: Machinery and Technology itself.
  • Sticks the Jungle Badger has a wacky, out there personality. She is the only descendant of Jeremiah Badger and seems to be a force of nature. She grew up in the wilderness since her childhood, so friends were a very new concept to her. That being said, she eventually formed a strong bond with Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles, joining them in their battles against Dr. Eggman as their Wild Card.
  • Ascended when she was found lurking in the woods one early morning. When she encountered some of Eggman’s robots while being escorted by a few other deities to the Court of the Gods, she reacted very violently, destroying them, claiming afterwards that robots will eventually turn on everyone and cause the apocalypse. Impressed by her display and beliefs, she was soon given a proper title as the Goddess of Technophobia.
  • Obviously, her version of Eggman wasn't very happy to see her, though being Affably Evil, he was very polite about it. Game Eggman was pretty affable about it as well...but then there are the more cruel versions of Robotnik and Eggman which actually gave Sticks pause. She was shocked how in some universes Eggman is far from Affably Evil, being an Emperor Scientist filled with cruelty and malice, especially the Satam and Archie versions of Robotnik, who also happen to be Complete Monsters. She also has to deal with Metal Sonic, remembering just how he copied her abilities as well as those of her friends.
  • True to her beliefs, she really doesn't like the Grand United Alliance of Machines. She believes that all of the members there, including the good-aligned ones, seek to turn on everyone and bring about the apocalypse, replacing life with robots. In some cases, like Ultron, she couldn't be more right. The member she most vividly remembers is Sigma and seeks to help his other enemies bring him down once and for all.
    • Dispite her hatred for machines and robots, she's on friendly terms with X, Zero, and Axl. And asked about this, her responce was to hand wave it and say they were the "good ones".
  • Gets along with other Wild Children, like Tarzan, Mowgli and Gau. This also extends to the others who used to be a Wild Child, like Daisuke Yamamoto, N and Hareta. She has, as a result of this, become enemies with Ghetsis Harmonia and Kefka Palazzo, especially the latter, due to his Omnicidal Mania and Depravity.
  • Enemies with The Evilutionists Of Mad Science, particularly Professor Hojo, whose monstrous personality makes her fierce enemies with him and has sometimes been personally responsible for disrupting his plans. He's sworn to subject her to a slow and painful torture, with Sticks daring him to try and her becoming even more hellbent on putting a stop to any of his plans.
  • When she first ascended, Blaze the Cat thought that her friend, Marine the Raccoon had ascended. When she found out that Sticks wasn't who she thought she was, she was slightly disappointed, but ultimately became friends with her anyway. Through Blaze, Sticks eventually met Silver, and learned about one of their greatest enemies, Solaris. Learning of the horrible acts his components have committed, including creating a Bad Future and killing Sonic. She has sworn to help them prevent Iblis and Mephiles from becoming Solaris again.
  • Is greatly opposed to Dr. Gero for his vendetta against Goku going to the point where he’d make evil androids and convert regular teenagers into cyborgs. In her eyes, however, his most heinous acts are creating Cell and turning his wife into an Android.
  • Tends to hang out in the house of Nature. There, she feels comfortable as she doesn’t have to deal with many forms of technology, though she stays away from the Toxicity Sub-House due to how disgusting and problematic it and most of its residents are, especially The Lich.
  • Shadow the Hedgehog is a bit of an enigma to her. The Shadow from her world was a bastard who Would Hit a Girl with no regrets and has no Dark and Troubled Past to justify his attitude. Here, though, Shadow is a much better person, especially after Maria’s ascension. She takes Sonic’s word for it, though keeps her eye on him as she doesn’t trust Shadow one bit. Shadow himself was appalled that a version of him was so cruel especially to the point of being a Chaotic Evil Jerkass.
  • Enemies with Dr. Wily due to his similarities with Eggman. He doesn’t mind this. However, she hates Dr. Weil and Omega more, both of them being completely depraved. She’s also opposed to the Ax-Crazy Metallix for what he did to most of her friends.
  • Enemies with Lord Recluse for his monstrous use of technology and his Card-Carrying Villain status. She hates him greatly, and to her frustration, he seems to welcome her as an opponent. She also doesn't like Ultimate Reed Richards either, believing his ideal utopia to be anything but. She also opposes Fawful for using technology to reawaken a dark power to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom, his plan backfiring and resulting in the near-destruction of everything. Because of how Bowser and the Mario Bros were responsible for ultimately taking down Fawful and the Dark Star, she has respect for all three of them. The Mario Bros immediately accepted it while Bowser simply stated that she had the wrong idea and that they never should've crossed him in the first place.
  • Is Good friends with Cream and Big. All three of them are great friends of Amy and much like Big, she's lived secluded in the wild for most of her life. She also respects Tikal and Cosmo, the latter for helping put a stop to monstrous aliens called the Metarex and the former for turning Chaos back to the side of good, putting an end to his rampage after he was defeated by Super Sonic.
  • Do not assume that a boomerang is the only weapon she'll use. Sticks has been using many other weapons as of late and thanks to the vast amount of those in the Pantheon, she's become much more dangerous to her enemies. Eggman and other technological villains are having headaches over this.
  • Met Sally Acorn at one point and while the meeting could have gone better, especially with Sticks chastising her on her use of technology to fight back against Robotnik's metal empire, though Sticks eventually came to believe that she may not have had any choice, especially when considering the cruelty of her versions of Robotnik and Eggman when compared to hers. Still, given Sonic the Comic Robotnik is an Omnicidal Maniac, she quickly found him to be worse than even them.
  • Laughed her ass off when she heard someone called Eggman a fat guy named after breakfast food.
  • SCP-953 hates her for being a “furry.” Sticks has responded in turn by calling her a disgrace for eating people and the two have become very fierce enemies. Black Doom is also a major enemy of hers, as despite her current status regarding Shadow, Sticks notices just how vile the evil alien is and won’t hesitate to help take him down when he causes trouble. His goals didn’t help matters.
  • Is opposed to evil organizations who use technology like Millennium, HYDRA and Shocker. She has proved capable against Hydra soldiers and some of Shocker’s Monsters of the Week, yet she has recognized that she needs help against Millennium no matter who she faces.
  • Her disgust towards technology has earned her a friendship with Badger, and while he doesn’t like her tolerating Tails’ use of it, he gets along with her just fine and they will sometimes hang out together.
  • Once had the misfortune of coming across Joker, who immediately decided to attack her while giving a Breaking Speech and she would have been killed had some deities not intervened at the last second. She’s hated Joker ever since, and he finds that hilarious and seeks to destroy any form of hope she has.

  • Fears: Ember McLain, Homura Akemi, Tsumugi Shirogane
  • Hitori Gotoh is the exact opposite of social grace. A Shrinking Violet par excellence, she panics at the mere thought of talking to other people. As much as she wants friends, her struggles to function outside the comfort and safety of her home led her to have absolutely no friends at all. And yet, she still has a dream. One where she's famous and popular as a member of a rock band. And so, she practiced the guitar all by herself in her closet, posting her videos under the screenname "guitarhero" on the internet. One day, she's approached by Nijika Ichiji, who asked her to substitute for the guitarist of her band, Kessoku Band, for she liked her guitarhero videos. Meeting the other bandmembers Ryou Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, Hitori, now nicknamed Bocchi, steps into the world of music with her newfound friends, and little by little, she crawls out of her shell, fighting her social anxiety all the way. No matter what difficulties she faces, her friends will be there to support her as she gets closer to realizing her dreams.
  • It was a day like usual for Kessoku Band, performing their music live before an audience. When the concert was over, they returned backstage to meet Seika and PA-san, upon which the latter gave Hitori an envelope addressed to her. Already stressed over over it, she opened it and read about being invited to a strange, unfamilar place called the "Trope Pantheons", sending her into her typical panic mode. Her bandmates calmed her down, reassuring her that they'll accompany her to that place. While still nervous, Bocchi walked through a door of brilliant light with her friends and arrived at a strange courtroom filled with intimidating strangers. There, they explained that she has become a goddess and talked about her living space in the divine realm and the basics of the new world she came in. Many things stuck out in Bocchi's mind; Becoming a goddess. A personification of her anxious personality. Having a new home. At one of the scariest places in a completely unfamiliar land. With lots of monsters and scary people around. And so she reacted in the most appropriate way possible: screaming her lungs out in utter fear and terror.
    Hitori: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! I'M GONNA DIE!!!
Eiki Shiki: Uh... Is she okay...?
Nijika: Er, don't worry too much about it, this is pretty normal for her.
  • The first few months of living in the Pantheon was pretty darn difficult for a girl like her. An unfamilar land filled with strangers? She'd seriously considered holing up in her temple and becoming a full-time Hikikomori! Thankfully, having been appointed as her Heralds, her friends are easily able to visit and help her get accustomed to her new circumstances. Eventually, she, like many other teenagers, enrolled herself into the Elysium Academy. One day, while walking down the hallway, she heard rock music echoing off the walls. Nervous, yet also curious, she followed the music until she found the source; a few girls having a jam session in an empty classroom... they're a rock band like Kessoku Band. The girls only noticed Hitori standing there right after they finished their session, accidentally startling her for she stood there silently the whole time. After she calmed down, the five explained that they're in a band named Houkago Tea Time, hence the music. Hitori revealed herself as being in a rock band as well, and the girls became interested in hearing her strum. When she did, they were amazed by her sheer talent and skill, especially Yui, who never played the guitar before joining the light music club. Thus, they made Bocchi an honorary member of their club and always welcome her in for jam sessions and cake. Heck, they're interested in playing together with Kessoku Band one day! New friends... this Pantheon place is still pretty scary, but maybe with friends she can grow more comfortable here.
  • Rock isn't the only genre of music that students play in music clubs; sometimes they go for a more orchestral flavor. Hitori's future lies within rock, but that didn't prevent her from meeting another group of schoolgirls who play music, that being the Kitauji Quartet. While their preferred genres are different, they nonetheless managed to make a connection with their similarities, with how they both want to achieve their dreams, their passion for their musical craft and their blossoming bonds supporting each other. In particular, Hitori can greatly relate to Kumiko Oumae in that they're both socially inept with a pessimistic streak, although Kumiko directs her negativity towards others than herself. Kumiko once had to desperately backpedal her comments when her critiques made Bocchi fall into a depressive slump and retreat into a trash can. Still, Bocchi sometimes comes by to just watch the four play their instruments. Perhaps she can learn a thing or two from them...
  • Sometimes, musicians are a reclusive bunch. As much as they love to play and sing, they may freeze at the thought of doing so in front of others. It seems paradoxical for those who make music to not have others hear them. Hitori thought she was the only reclusive musician around until she met Suzu Naito. Ever since her mother died, Suzu lost the ability to sing and became withdrawn to the point of having a panic attacked when pressured to sing for others. It wasn't until she made an avatar in the digital world of U that she could sing freely without fear, and eventually, through a chance meeting and a life-changing experience, she finally regained the ability to sing in real life as well. In a way, it's not too dissimilar to how Hitori uploaded her music online as the anonymous guitarhero. Perhaps in a digital world, she could have more confidence in playing music behind a mask... but the thoughts of a more physical digital crowd might still be overwhelming for her. Suzu, on her part, wishes luck on Hitori's endeavors, believing that she too can overcome her shyness on the stage one day.
  • Rock music is certainly a popular music genre, with the multitude of people who love listening to it as well as the people who make the music tracks in the first place. And it's no such surprise that there happens to be many famous rock and metal bands in the Pantheon. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Green Day, Linkin Park, Weezer, Metallica, Megadeath... all of them successful and world-famous bands with millions of screaming fans and amazing tracks. Hitori looks up to them as inspirations for her, wanting to be as recognized and beloved as them some day. While she prefers to admire them from a distance, there are some who she managed to encounter more directly. Astaroth was at first very scary, with her being a demon and all. Her morose attitude convinced the demon that her music affected Bocchi, but nope; that's how she's normally like. Despite their initial differences, the two managed to quickly relate in many ways, such as their genuine passion for music, low self-esteem and fear of large crowds. Astaroth highly prefers performing just for Bocchi, amazed that she's somehow immune to her usual melancholy-inducing abilities. Meanwhile, Hitori was able to get comfortable with her a bit quicker than with others due to their shared personalities. Another rocker highschooler she met is Aoi Tategami, who is the vocalist of a rock band. Her enthusiasm intimidates Bocchi similarly, as if she's a more Hot-Blooded version of Kita. Still, Aoi was quick to consider Hitori her friend and is even considering having her as a guest guitarist in her band, much to Bocchi's dismay. Unlike the previous two, Hitori lives in absolute fear of Ember McLain, a ghost who hypnotizes people with her rock music so she can take over the world and be remembered. I mean, an actual evil ghost who might kill her if she gets more popular than her? Too scary! Bocchi already gets vivid images of Ember lighting her aflame, so she runs away at the mere sight of her.
  • Bocchi does not have Nerves of Steel. Instead, she has nerves of francium. The slightest thing that can affect her will bear a drastic panicked reaction from her. It's very rare for her to go outside and not shake and scream in fear, fall into self-loathing or otherwise have a very dramatic reaction to whatever happened to her that day. And she's not limited to the regular signs of a panic attack; sometimes she violently glitches out, pops like a balloon or fades into dust, and that's just the tip of the iceberg for her cartoonish freak outs. Such jittery behavior is reciprocated in a possum-like mammal named Cindy, who easily panics due to living in a dangerous environment. It is no surprise that the two would freak out upon seeing each other and run circles around the other. Still, Cindy would realize that Bocchi wouldn't hurt her like most others, and get used to her presence, though Hitori is still a bit startled when approached by a talking mammal. And since she's such a fearful person, it wasn't long until she met with the embodiment of the emotion fear itself. She and Fear match each other very well, which makes the emotion wonder; her fear emotion must be the clear leader in her head if she's always so scared.
  • Hitori's social skills might as well be non-existent. Even the act of approaching others is an arduous task that makes her collapse mentally, and when she does get near she struggles to hold a conversation without cutting it short and either exiting or clamming up. If there's anyone who rivals her in terrible social skills, it's Tomoko Kuroki, who is similarly cynical and unbelievably awkward who keeps flubbing up many conversations with others, though she's more rude and perverted than Bocchi. Needless to say, their first meeting can only be described as disgustingly cringeworthy by those who saw it, with them stumbling over their words, fidgeting their entire bodies and pretty much eating their own feet every time they opened their mouths, especially when Tomoko got too interested in Hitori's surprisingly large bust and made Bocchi scream about how she's an ugly water flea and not a hot chick. It took a long while for them to get used to each other, but finding out how they both want friends made them decide that befriending each other was a decent first step. Now, they teamed up to try and help the other with their social endeavors... which is easier said than done, really.
  • As cripplingly shy and introverted as she is, Hitori does really want some friends and a genuine social life. Unfortunately, her biggest obstacle in her way is herself, with all of the awkwardness, anxiety, and self-loathing that comes with it. And yet, just by joining Kessoku Band, Bocchi gained her first real friends and truly started her journey to come out of her shell. It's a slow process, but it's certainly a worthwhile one to take. Fluttershy, Violet Parr, and Noel Vermillion are living proofs that it's possible to overcome one's shyness and become more comfortable in being with other people. Such personality traits aren't going away completely, but making them not as overwhelming is still an achievement in itself. Hitori hopes that one day, she can be like them as well. She eventually became good friends with them, finding them not as intimidating as most other people around. Fluttershy feels more comfortable with animals... Bocchi can't exactly relate to that, if being pecked by a flock of birds is any indication. Violet's invisibility and Noel's emotion-suppressing weapon are something Bocchi kinda envies; it would make avoiding people and staying calm much easier. Too bad those things don't exist back in her world.
  • A big reason why Bocchi wants to become a famous rockstar is that she believes the popularity she'll get will allow her to have the friends she really wanted, as well as thinking that there's no viable future for her where she's a "normal" member of society as she's far too overspecialized in music to really apply herself in other careers. Similarly, Rise Kujikawa became an idol so she can get friends as she was lonely growing up, but she realized that people were more in love with the fabricated Risette persona than the real her. It took her a while to accept that Risette is still a part of her and that she enjoyed being an idol. Hitori can certainly relate to what Risette went through, but hearing her story gave her a new fear; what if people only loved the fake her? The cooler, dazzling rockstar instead of the Nervous Wreck she really is? Such a potential identity crisis is now something that has been added to her ever growing list of insecurities. On her end, Rise encourages her to keep on going, believing that in the end, it'll be worth it as long as she perseveres.
  • Character development is a funny thing; sometimes a person can change so much overtime that they're nearly unrecognizable from what they used to be. Take for example Homura Akemi. Formerly a shy, sickly teenage girl, she become a Puella Magi to save her first friend Madoka Kaname from the terrible fate that all magical girls go through. After many traumatic incidents, she hardened her heart and completely ditched the shyness, becoming a cold loner. Not only that, but she collected enough weaponry to rival a large army and even became a universe-ruling demon out of love! Such a thing utterly terrifies Hitori. To become such a completely different and all-powerful person is something she thought could only happen in her dreams... would she end up in a similar way if something bad were to happen? That's a nightmare worth not sleeping over. And what if Homura kills her with her many guns for just getting near Madoka? She's way too scary! Thus Bocchi stays away from her at all costs to not suffer her wrath.
  • One time, her class hosted a maid cafe for a School Festival, and thus poor Bocchi had to wear a maid outfit and serve the "customers". Her usual nervous and downbeat attitude clearly does not mesh well with the cheery and cutesy character a maid server's supposed to take, and her incantations have such little energy and enthusiasm that it makes the meals she's "blessing" taste as depressing as she is. Hearing of such a thing, Maika Sakuranomiya and Hideri Kanzaki came over to Bocchi to give her tips about how to better handle such a job. Things were pretty awkward with Hideri's overwhelmingly cute and upbeat energy blinding Bocchi like Kita, and Maika's unintenionally scary smiles scared the crap outta the pinkette, but the lessons were still something that Hitori benefited from. Maybe they'll help her in other situations as well... Another maid cafe worker Hitori met is Sharo Kirima, who mainly serves coffee. Sharo thought that Bocchi also had a fear of rabbits when they clung onto each other screaming at the sight of one, but no, she's just afraid of everything under the sun. Sometimes Hitori drops by Fleur de Lapin for a quick drink.
  • Being a rockstar may be Hitori's number one dream job, but it's not the only one she considers. For example, she has a few thoughts of becoming a professional gamer at online games like Splatoon and get all the perks that come with it like sponserships and a cosplaying girlfriend. As such, she sometimes drops by the House of Gaming to play a few video games, though not in places where a crowd of people could spectate behind her back. You can imagine her surprise when she saw that there are actual Inklings and Octolings in the Pantheon, and they look and act just like in the games! While internally geeking out, she doesn't want to involve herself in any Turf Wars... they're all very stressful and scary for her. Speaking of a cosplayer girlfriend, Bocchi heard word of one Tsumugi Shirogane, who's known as the Ultimate Cosplayer, so good at cosplaying she can effectively impersonate any fictonal character she wants! She came up over to her with great interest... and soon ran away terrified after learning about her involvement in the Danganronpa TV show. No way she's having her as a girlfriend; she'd likely kill her in front of a live camera! Way too scary!
  • Bocchi has been compared to a tsuchinoko a few times by others and even herself. With it being mythical creature that obviously doesn't exist, it's clear that she sees it as a reflection of her crippling shyness and reclusive nature, even to the point of not considering herself human due to her pitiful self-esteem. She believed that she would never see a cryptid like that ever in her life... until now, when she spotted a tsuchinoko-like critter with small wings and a drill for a tail. Noticing each other, Hitori screamed, startling the poor creature which made him dig into the ground and flee. This trend kept happening every time they crossed paths, which was more likely than either expected, until they both got too used to the other's presence to be overly shook anymore. Nowadays, Bocchi tends to give Dunsparse gentle pats whenever they meet. Thank goodness he isn't hostile to her unlike those birds.

It was then decided to give her the trope of Personal Horror due to how it affected her and how she was able to overcome it.
  • Her and her whole story is filled with a lot of Alternative Character Interpretation, with everyone having a different reading of her and her story. Is she actually fine at the end, or has her alternative persona taken over? When did her delusions begin or did they even end? Did she become an actress by her own choice or was she pushed into it being one by her team? For the sake of her sanity and to not repeat what happened to her, nobody has asked.
  • She has several nude scenes in her story, however most deities find these scenes disturbing rather than titillating. Be it due to how they are shown together to blend with scenes of violence or because she gets into more emotional distress because of them. One of the most infamous scenes being a rape scene for the TV show she was on, which is made out to be as realistic and disturbing as possible and is the start of when her psyche would take a massive hit. This scene would later end up being a dark forewarning into what would actually happen to her, as she would end up the victim of nearly being raped and murdered by a Loony Fan. Thankfully, she was able to fight back, and manage to fend off her attacker. Still, the experience has made her make sure she keeps away from any stalker and rapist in the Pantheon.
  • Considering the fact she was almost raped and killed by a Loony Fan, she is directly opposed to Annie Wilkes considering what she did to the Paul Sheldon. She also reminds her of Rumi, her old manager who tried to murder her and take her place as the real Mima.
  • Nina can easily relate to Nina Sayers on a psychological level. Like the ballerina, the singer-turned-actress's struggle with the increasingly-intense demands of her role, similar to Nina's struggle in becoming the Black Swan, caused her to lose her grip on reality, leading her to hallucinate an evil doppelganger. The two women both found commonality in the demanding environments of acting and ballet. Nina was glad to hear that Mima, after much tribulation, overcame her identity crisis and became a successful actress with more agency and maturity. Mima felt relief that Nina found some comfort in maturing as a woman and ballet dancer in spite of the damage to her mind, glad that she has gotten the help she needed within the Pantheon. The two women found many similarities between their life events, wondering if it was coincidental or not.
  • Gets along well with the other Idol Singers in the Pantheon even though she is from different generation of idols. She glad that μ's were able to stop being idols on their own terms and had the freedom to do what they want as idols, unlike her who is implied in being pressured/forced into becoming an actress by her management team. She's also thankful that 765 Pro actually have a legit nice and sane manager unlike her old manager, she's still a little worried on what will happen to the girls when they get too old to be idols. The younger idols can't help but pity her considering what she went through and how she was mistreated, and how they thankfully never have any run-ins like the ones she went through.
    • Out of all the Idol Singers in the Pantheon she seems to get along and understand Sayaka Maizono the most. This mainly comes from the fact they both have Sanity Slippage based on them not being idols anymore.
    • Another Idol Singer she encountered was Rion Kugayama, who like her felt stifled by her idol business. However, she conspired to create a scandal by dating somebody like Kou Tokisawa for the sake of publicity. She was horrified that Mima's attempt to break out to more mature roles resulted in much agony for her, and wonders if her scandal might cause some unhinged fans to come after her. Mima reassured her that she was okay, and that she's unlikely to meet any unsavory people thanks to her powers and friends.
    • Another idol singer, Miku Izayoi, took notice of her story and approached her to tell her story; She was an up and coming idol with big, idealistic dreams, until her producer tried to cajol her into having sex with him. When she refused, he then spread nasty rumors about her, which people quickly ate up, ruining her career. When she tried to make a comeback, she began losing her voice. It was only until she gained her spirit powers that she didn't go with committing suicide. Because of this, Miku related to Mima's story, gave her a hug, and told her that she's available if she wants to talk to someone.
  • Mima gained a friendship with Esmerelda, as she also is seen differently due to her actions. Quasimodo sees her as an angel, Judge Frollo sees her as a seductress, while Phoebus sees her as a combination of both. That said, Mima was glad to see Quasimiodo finding his own happiness without a love interest just by being himself, the real thing, just like Mima gained the strength to define who she is if she's no longer an Idol. Obviously, Judge Frollo is a sore spot for her, as he represents Me-Mania but worse, willing to enact a genocide solely because he couldn't control Esmerelda.
  • "I'm the real thing."

  • Ned Needlemeyer is an average 10-year old boy with a hyperactive imagination. Unfortunately, this imagination is more of a curse than a blessing for the boy as he's also incredibly high-strung, which combines with the massive imagination to result in chronic lucid nightmares that always end on a bad note. And though they can leave a negative impact on Ned, they can also have a positive impact on him. Most noteworthy of all being when Ned was subjected to five separate yet connected nightmares at once by the "Shadow Creatures" and not only braved through each nightmare but overcame the fears those nightmares represented, waking up more courageous than ever.
  • Ned ascended to the Pantheon when the Court of the Gods took notice of his constant nightmares and, noticing that his bad dreams were the result of severe anxiety, deemed Ned Needlemeyer to be the perfect candidate for Anxiety Dreams.
    • He was freaked out to say the least to find himself summoned to a plane of existence wherein all fictional beings are real, and many of them could reduce him to dust at the blink of an eye. But Ned was soon comforted upon learning that most members of the Pantheon are good and became flattered at having been accepted into the Pantheon alongside many heroes and admirable figures. Although he wishes that he hadn't been chosen for his anxiety-induced nightmares, especially as his given trope means that he'll be suffering horrid dreams all the more.
  • Ned's temple has two sides to it; the front side is that of his family's house: specifically when his family is absent, allowing the boy and any invited deities to snack on junk food and play video games. But the backside of the temple is that of the Quilt, a gigantic bed that acts as the crossroads to all of Ned's past nightmares, especially the ones conjured by the Shadow Creatures. Thanks to this, visiting deities are able to experience Ned's nightmares for themselves and the most daring of them have even made a game of braving those nightmares the fastest. Ned doesn't understand why anyone would willingly enter his nightmares but doesn't object to these visitations. After all, those courageous deities might provide some much-needed inspiration for him.
  • Became fast friends with Courage the Cowardly Dog, since they're both nervous wrecks who endure intense frights on an almost constant basis and are the butts of every joke in their respective worlds. They both also like to play yo-yo, and the two can often be seen exchanging yo-yo tricks.
  • Upon learning of the Pantheon's official Goddess of Weaponized Yo-Yos, Bridget, Ned immediately sought her out to improve his "yoyo combat" with which to more easily overcome his nightmares. Bridget happily took the yo-yo-slinging boy up in this regard, and does her best to help him fight his nightmares outside of improving his yo-yo weaponry.
  • He gained the interest of Razputin Aquato when the psychic found out about Ned's chronic nightmares. As per the Psychonaut's agenda, Raz sought out to cure the boy of his horrifying dreams, which Ned couldn't be more welcoming of. Raz expected his curing of Ned's nightmares to be a cinch since he had cured longtime mental issues of many individuals in a single night. However, the young Psychonaut found Ned's anxiety dreams to be more difficult to heal than anticipated and would take a whole lot longer. But Raz isn't one to give up and vowed to keep on trying to save Ned from his nightmares no matter how long it takes, which Ned is forever grateful for.
    • Ned was also befriended by Jimmy Neutron for the same reason; the boy genius having been intrigued by Ned's constant anxiety-born dreams and, being the kind hero he can be, wanting to vanquish the many causes of those nightmares. Ned also reminds Jimmy a lot of his best friend, Carl Wheezer, both being neurotic nerds with massive round glasses, and Jimmy had even previously cured Carl of his own recurring nightmare. Although Ned is a great deal more intelligent than Carl and a lot less sickly.
  • Ned also gets along great with Wirt, being a fellow cowardly nerd whose anxiety resulted in him entering a surreal and often spooky world which may or may not have been a Dying Dream, even. The two were also antagonized by shadowy figures in the form of the "Shadow Creatures" and "The Beast", the latter of whom Ned is glad is not in the Pantheon (but now worries he may have jinxed everyone in saying so). Whenever Ned and Wirt hang out, they spend their times sharing tales of the nightmares and the Unknown respectively. For Ned, the Unknown reminds him quite a bit of his "Attic, Basement, and Beyond" nightmare, which even had its own "creepy woods" section.
    • In befriending Wirt, Ned almost automatically became a friend of Wirt's younger brother, Greg. Despite seemingly not sharing similar interests, Ned enjoys Greg's company all the same due to the boy's sheer friendliness and optimism, as well as being closer to his own age compared to the teenage Wirt.
    • As luck would have it, the Beast of the Unknown had since ascended into the Pantheon, and Ned had been severely regretting ever mentioning the possibility of his arrival. Not at all helped by the Beast implying that his ascension was Ned's fault in an attempt to get the boy to fall into despair. And indeed, Ned had become a favored target of the monster due to his anxieties. It's only thanks to the efforts of his friends keeping his hopes up that Ned hasn't become an Edelwood Tree.
  • Naturally preyed upon by nightmare-based deities and those who thrive off of fear, especially that of children. Freddy Krueger in particular came to favor Ned as a victim, given their respective positions, and unfortunately for Ned his yo-yo isn't effective enough a weapon to ward off the Avatar of Nightmares. Fortunately, though, Ned had received the protection of good dream deities and other protectors of children and has yet to receive any fatalities from Krueger or other nightmare deities. Although Ned hopes that, should he get attacked by any of them, the resulting harm is bloodless and recoverable, like in most of his own nightmares.
  • Even though he overcame the Shadow Creatures who turned out to be the frightening manifestations of friendly people (and an item) in his life, Ned is still wary of Living Shadows. On account of being the God of Living Shadows and a truly hostile entity, Ned stays far away from Dark Link.
    • Likewise, though Ned had conquered his fear of death or rather his grandfather dying, the House of Undeath reminds him of the horrors of the Graveyard Nightmare, with some of its residents exceeding the graveyard's Ghoul in freaky appearance, and steers clear of the place.
    • In response to Ned's wariness and fear of shadows and darkness, the boy was approached by Koichi Kimura, who embodied The Sacred Darkness and sought to show Ned that darkness and shadows weren't inherently evil, nor things to be avoided and feared. Being the Nervous Wreck that he is, Ned has yet to be enlightened. Nonetheless, he does find Koichi's words enlightening and considers him an ally.
  • When he first met Mickey Mouse in the Pantheon, Ned recalled shaking hands with a larger version of the mouse in his "Attic, Basement, and Beyond" nightmare and told him of this. Mickey was amused by this revelation of Ned's and gave the boy a real shake from the mouse. Upon shaking hands, though, Mickey suddenly felt he that he actually knew of Ned long before and somehow forgot...
