Pantheon / Dance

Go To

What's a place with music without yourself to express it through your movement and body language? Of course, it's never complete to include a place full of music without a sprinkle of dance to go along with it. After all, it has become a tradition for centuries to coincide music and dance together.

The general layout of the Hall is a gigantic ballroom that may encompass an entire house block. That said, maintained has been taken under to designate sections of the ballroom to allow for different sessions and commodities to be allowed for residents and visitors. It's famous for being the most beautiful Hall in the House of Music, aesthetically and tonally, with pristine stained glass, finely crafted sculptures, intricate decorations studded around the floors and walls and a massive glass roof and a large chandelier to make up for a gorgeous sunny or elegant night atmosphere, but it's also one of the more demanding and active Halls, with the activities there being dynamic and complex. For lots, it's advised that they take training sessions in a smaller sub-section of the Hall.

The Hall of Dance is at its most popular whenever notable festivals and holidays are incoming and several dance projects, particularly those focusing on fundraising and charity are often held around that time. It's one way to attract deities and guests who normally wouldn't be interested in dancing, but one must make sure that they're not faking it, lest you're to receive a penalty or months worth of a ban.

Intermediate Gods

    Elite Tauren Chieftain (E.T.C.)
Elite Tauren Chieftain, God of Involuntary Dancing (E.T.C., Rock God, Chief Thunder-Skins)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/elite_tauren.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The ETC logo and a Guitar in form of an Axe
  • Theme Song: Too many to settle but the most famous ones are Power of the Horde, I am Murloc and Rogues do it from Behind.
  • Alingment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Heavy Mithril, Member of the Tauren Race, Ascended Meme, Dynamic Entry, Can jump almost everywhere, Wields an Axe Guitar, Lightning Bruiser, Can harness the Power of Rock, Incredibly tough to kill
  • Domains: Rock, Metal, Bands, Dancing
  • Heralds: The Rest of his band
  • Allies: Baine Bloodhoof, Thrall, Vol'jin, Murky, Ragnaros the Firelord, Abathur, Brook, Dethlok, Eddie Riggs, The Guy, The Symphogears, Sona Buvelle, Miltank
  • Rivals: Haruko Haruhara, Pantheon
  • Friendly Enemies: Diablo, Arthas Menethil
  • Not-So-Friendly enemies: The Mermaid Princesses
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Brightwing, Malfurion Stormrage
  • Odd Friendship: Any Deity with pink hair
  • Elite Tauren Chieftain is a famous Musician known all accross the World of Azeroth and it shows as he can found battling numerous heroes in The Nexus or in a quiet Inn as a prominent player. The next big objective in ETC's mind was get a spot in the Pantheon and he surely did in a spectacular way.
    • After reviewing his history and finding out that his Music had an interesting Charm into it (Which mean that his music made people near him dance Uncontrollably) he was allowed to have the title of Involuntary Dancing.
    • It should be noted that Mosh Pit's influence is so strong that ETC can even perform it beyond the grave!
  • His band used to have different names over the course of thier career. First they were called Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain, then Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain and Level 90 ETC and Level 100 ETC, until they said "Screw it" and sticked with Elite Tauren Chieftain ever since.
  • He sports a particularly pink goatie, which he is really proud of. As a result, he has made friends with many people who also has Pink hair and is not ashamed to admit that his Favourite color is Pink.
  • Believe or not, ETC and his band used to be buddies with Arthas before. Apparently, he was the lead Guitarist of the band and even had a part in the making of "The Power of the Horde".
  • Unusually for him, ETC became friends with Sona Buvelle given that both have the power to make other people Dance uncontrollably. Even then, the Tauren is slighty dissapointed that she doesn't "Rock it out" like he does but acknowledges her power and considers her an equal.
  • He also has the ability to "Stage Dive" anywhere he wants which caught the attention of another Mighty jumper, Pantheon. While the latter is impressed by the Tauren's abilities, he still mocks him for not beings as strong as him with his jumps and became rivals ever since.
  • Ever since the release of one of his bigger hits, I Am Murloc, the Tauren has been good friends with Murky. ETC definitely enjoys the little fellow's antics.
  • He gets along surprisingly well with Diablo, even though they would more likely be enemies if the other good guys were around. ETC on his part wants Diablo to be part of the cover of his next album but the Demon is having seconds thoughts.
    • Even then, ETC will not particularly care if The Lord of Terror decides to antagonize him and even he has defeated him on a couple of occasions.
  • If you ever wondered what would have ETC become if he didn't started his band? Well, he would have tried jumping into a Country music Carrier. In fact, he once designed a costume just in case he really wanted to try Country music.
  • While he is normally a pretty Chill dude with others, he really cannot stand Brightwing, because she is always trying to befriend him and in his words, "She is ruining his cred".
    • He also can't get along with Malfurion Stormrage given his "Hippie" Personality. ETC always mock him, telling him to Go hug a tree.
  • Has declared himself the rival of Haruko Haruhara because they both use Instruments as Weapons. They often spend their time "Rocking out" in the House of Music and ETC is even considering her a spot in his band.
  • He is looking for something "Brutal" enough to be part of the cover of his next Album. He's strongly considering Abathur.
  • The Mermaid Princesses don't particularly like him, mainly due to the fact that one of their enemies back in the mortal realm had similar powers as he.
  • Also present in Support Powers.

    Yuna
Yuna, Goddess of Magical Dances (Spira's Hope, High Summoner, Lady Yuna, Yunie, Grand Summoner)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dffnt_yuna_costume_01_a_removebg_preview.png
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A summoner's staff overlaid vertically over a pair of crossed handguns
  • Theme Song: Yuna's theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, with moments of Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Summon Magic, Being Passive and Helpful, Flower Motifs, Adapting to Change, Silk Hiding Steel, Sharing Her Story With Another, Hope Bringers, Messianic Archetypes, whistling
  • Domains: Faith, Salvation, Treasure Hunting
  • Followers: Sheena Fujibayashi, Isaac
  • Heralds: Rikku and Paine (her fellow Gullwings, the former also being her cousin).
  • Allies: Tidus, Lulu, Sora, Lucy Heartfilia, Cosmos, Tifa Lockhart, Gilgamesh, Vash the Stampede, Revy, Ratchet, Clank, Bahamut, Hatsune Miku, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Tron, Emmet Brickowski, Fix-It-Felix Jr., Jak, Daxter, Odin, Melody, Pete
  • Enemies: Maester Seymour, Judge Frollo, Mateus Palamecia, Chaos, Garland, Maleficent (former employer), I-No, Courtney Gears, Lysandre
  • A curious hiccup involving her ascension, Yuna has lost her contact to the Fayth, and is unable to summon the Aeons of Spira. However in a way to counter this, Yuna can form contracts with other gods within the Pantheon, able to summon them to her aid. She has formed contracts with this Pantheon’s Bahamut, the wandering swordsman Gilgamesh, and the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza.
    • While Naruto offered their aid, Kurama was expressively against becoming a Summon, so no contract could be made.
  • Has become sick with the House of Religion and Faith, seeing how almost half of it is comprised of malevolent abuse of faith, even Seymour holds a throne within.
  • Is curious about the summon techniques of Naruto's world, though isn't happy with the ritual, quickly casting Cure after the blood is drawn.
  • Although she has returned to her Summoning roots, Yuna is still on good terms with the previously worshiped Vash, and likes to drop in for more target practice on occasion. She also spares the time to visit Laguna while there, though makes sure to always return to her summoning garb since her usual Gunner attire lead to a rather extensive leg cramp for her friend.
  • Yuna once met up with Sora in a small fairy form of herself. She was aligned with Maleficent at the time but it was all in the hopes of treasure, not of any pure malice. As a token of good faith, Yuna gave Sora a special Keychain called the Gullwing and hopes to one day fight side-by-side with him whether be it in summoning Aeons or shooting them with her guns.
    • During her time as a fairy, Yuna also saw Pete being abused by Maleficent after his failures in Timeless River and Agrabah, and encouraged him to mutiny. Then Maleficent was in danger of being consumed by her darkness (again), and Pete, determined to save her, teamed up with Yuna and shot himself towards the evil fairy's crumbling tower in a cannon. Despite the success, both Pete and Yuna were constantly zapped by a furious Maleficent, which prompted the summoner to quit.
      • Since then, Yuna has sent a letter to the evil fairy demanding her payment in treasure. So far, all she got was a Cursed Medallion that was stolen from the (sunken) Isla de Muerta, which was returned right away at Cosmos' request. She's still waiting for her proper repayment.
  • Yuna often practices her whistling. When asked why, it's because she's waiting for "you-know-who" (aka Tidus) to come, as he promised that he would come for her if she whistled.
    • One day, while whistling in the House of Weapons, she met up with Ratchet who sounded similar to Tidus. After the confusion settled, Ratchet invited her for some target practice. Yuna obliged and now sees Ratchet frequently.
    • Yuna's wishes had been answered, since Tidus finally found his way from Spira to her side.
  • Since she and Courtney Gears are both pop singers, there's a rivalry between the two over who can wow the audience best. Of course, Gears is an Evil Diva, and has a habit of using her music to brainwash robots to follow her command. Because of this, Yuna sees Gears as more of an enemy than a rival.
    • Yuna overheard Gears' desire to help Clu with "perfecting" the pantheon by rectifying all the program and robot gods, and has sent Tron a message to pre-warn him. However, Clu later cancelled out this alliance due to Gears' alliance with the Darkness Proxy.
  • Gets along with Melody, mainly because of how they starred in sequels that have received backlash from fans (though X-2 has since gained some acceptance). It probably helps that Melody sounds like Rikku.
  • Like Tidus, she doesn't like to talk about the time she went to Arizona. All anyone knows is that it involved trying to get revenge against a certain cult leader for what he did to Tidus, only to fall victim to Sephiroth of all beings.
  • Yuna considers Lysandre to be one of her greatest enemies on account that he tried to destroy his world with either Xerneas or Yveltal as a result of insanity. But she initially paid no attention to him until reports that an alternate version of him succeeded came alight. Never again will she allow anyone to use mythological beasts, whether it be Aeons from a Final Summoning, or Legendary Pokémon, as instruments of mass genocide.

Lesser Gods

    Amigo
Amigo, God of Literally Livening Up the Place (Great Maracas King)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/amigo_1.png
  • Lesser God. Intermediate God when in "All Star" mode.
  • Symbol: His maracas. Alternatively, his face.
  • Theme: Samba de Amigo (Samba de Janeiro 2000)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Keet, Ridiculously Cute Critter, Wingding Eyes, The Unintelligible, The Voiceless, The Cameo, Hidden Depths revealed through the manual, Causes the scenery to dance along other artistic changes
  • Domain: maracas, music, partying, dancing, the poor
  • Heralds: His other band mates, his family, most noticeably his sister Amiga.
  • Allies: His fellow SEGA deities, namely Sonic, Segata Sanshiro, NiGHTS, Billy Hatcher, AiAi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Caesar, the House of Musicality, Sans, Scrooge McDuck, Wreck It Ralph, Vanellope, Opa-Opa, Beat, El Mariachi, Speedy Gonzales, Ratchet
  • Friendly Rivalry: Parappa
  • Enemies: King K Rool, Mr Burns, Gray Mann, Ragyo Kiryuin, generally, any Corrupt Corporate Executive
  • On a rather energetic day, the house of Music started to move with life...as in, literally move with life. The nearby hills and clouds were moving in rhythm, the deities of the house were jumping in tune, and even the sun was dancing! Sonic, who was in the house at the time, led the way for some concerned members of the Main House to center stage, where it was revealed that Amigo was actually performing, having such legendary maraca skills that makes the place come literally alive. He was given God hood on the spot and has made a temple inside the house of music. His band-mates are welcomed to come up and perform with him should he desire (which is next to always).
  • As with the other Sega deities, he quickly became friends with the rest of the ascended Sega gods and goddesses.
    • Sonic was already allied with him well before his ascension, performing with him in Green Hill Zone. He also rode on hoverboards with him before, along with Billy Hatcher and NiGHTS. The monkey was also thankful to Sonic for saving him once her accidentally fell off the stage during a tennis match.
      • On the note of Billy, he was also able to be summoned by a special egg and helped Billy on his quest. The two keep close tabs on each other since.
    • He is also great friends with AiAi, who enjoys the former monkey's festive music, while the Mexican monkey can be found trying out AiAi's rolling marbles with himself inside, though not without being safe from headaches and nausea when it gets too crazy. They often stop by the house of Food to order banana bread to eat with their own heralds.
    • He is sometimes seen racing around with Opa-Opa alongside various other Sega deities, save for a few cameos. He views it all in friendly competition, and even uses his "All-Star" move to make others dance in a conga-line while his ride is on auto-pilot. The second time around, he began experimenting with exploding maracas that makes drivers feel more festive. It is said he may of gotten this idea from Brook from his own hypnotizing songs.
Brook: Oh, did I help him out there? Nonsense; I don't have the brain for it...or a brain at all! YOHOHOHOHOHOHO! SKULL JOKE!
    • While he prefers his own flavor of music, Amigo is more than willing to have Beat attend and dance with him during some of his festivals, even letting him put on his more music if he's feeling like he could work with the GG's hip-hop music that day.
  • Being unique from the other Sega deities with his origin starting in the arcades at first, Wreck It Ralph visits him on the occasion from time and time again, sometimes even taking Vanellope with him. This led to Vanellope approving of having Amgio come over to "Sugar Rush" to perform during some of the races as a background event, giving him some bananas in return for his services.
  • When not performing with his own band, he can be seen with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong dancing to their beat on their bongos and electric guitar. The three of them sometimes engage together for a trio performance in the house of Music. He also became enemies to King K Rool this way, performing for Donkey Kong one time to cause the environment to dance in sync with him, which made him throw the kritter king off, and allowed Donkey Kong to defeat him much easier before his banana hoard could get stolen.
    • Speaking of performing with other people, Amigo is open to collaborations with anyone, regardless of alignment of morality. Music to him is something meant to be shared, and wouldn't let morality block potential partners. That said, he is taking caution around gods that use music to hurt people, namely I-No.
  • Surprisingly, he actually has some deep motives for what he was doing. He was once a poor monkey hailing from a poor family who one day found some maracas in a shop. After begging the store owner to let him hold them, he instinctively grew found of them, and started performing for money to help his family. Now, the monkey has his own theme park, movie studio and even city to his name as a successful maraca player. As a result of this, he is seen doing shows, performing his music and donating his money to the poor, as he was once in such a position himself, never really losing sight of what his original goal was was. Scrooge McDuck can publicly approve of his actions (even if trying to get a free penny from him could be a hassle), and has even helped the monkey set up a couple charity events.
    • Caesar is rather impressed with his friendliness and cheerful disposition despite his history. He is considering making Amigo one of the first monkeys he assigns to help with taking care of tense relationships he has that he doesn't want to keep, seeing him as someone who can lighten the mood and bring up spirits.
    • On the other side of the coin, Amigo really doesn't have high regard to those that use their wealth for evil, like Mr Burns or Gray Mann, and while he may not do some damage to them on his own, he would happily serve as a distraction should someone fighting them need it. Gray Mann is especially annoyed by this, as his robots are actually affected by his music, and when Amigo uses his "All-Star" move on them, he can hypnotize them into performing a conga line instead of actually fighting. Ratchet is rather impressed with how Amigo can make this happen without his Groovitron device, and has offered to team up with him from time to time to use his Groovitron to help extend the duration of the dance.
      • He's also experimenting with some scientists to if his "All-Star" move can tame or pacify Ragyo's life fibers.
  • Curiously enough, Amigo can never make clear words; just maraca or music sounds spew from...somewhere. They clearly are coming from Amigo, but no one knows how that works. The House of Knowledge gave up on him long after seeing him bring what should be inanimate objects to life just by dancing around them with his maracas. However, they seem to understand him anyway regardless so it isn't that much of an annoyance for them.
    • Sans takes full advantage of this, and often accompanies the monkey's music with his own trombone when he sees something embarrassing happen to a deity, mainly Papyrus.
  • He greatly enjoys Parappa's company, even if rapping is a genre he really isn't that keen on performing. Regardless, he still enjoys keeping up a rather playful rivalry against him. People who witness the two having a musical battle should expect an even more lively performance than usual.
  • Often joins with up El Mariachi and Speedy Gonzales and performs with them for a song or two, true to their Mexican culture. Though Amigo has made sure to provide El Mariachi a distinct enough violin case that was really for a violin, and not his weapons.

    Elena (Street Fighter
Elena, Goddess of Dance Battling (Capoeirista of the Wind and Earth, Warrior of the Savannah)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/250px-elenaultra_2633.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A Silhouette of a Rhino
  • Theme Songs: Tomboy (Huge Side or African Voice Mix when going out), Beats in My Head (Kenyan Savana, Warrior of the Earth*, The World is My Stage* when showing off her moves)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Chaotic Neutral as Saltador)
  • Portfolio: In Harmony with Nature, Tall and Beautiful School Girl, Energetic Female, Wishes to Make Friends with Everyone, Fights Using Only Her Legs, Very Tall and Friendly, Can Heal Herself, Tomboy Princess
  • Domains: Healing, Nature, Friendship, Dance, Travel
  • Heralds: Jafari (father), Amina (mother) and Marcus (older brother)
  • Allies:
  • Commonality Connection with: Sakura Oogami
  • Friendly Rivalry: Sakura Kasugano, Christie Monteiro, Lei Wulong (moreso on the friendly part)
  • Odd Friendship with: Akuma (Don't ask how that happened), Dudley Dursley
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Takatora Kureshima (they have since buried the hatchet)
  • Enemies: M. Bison, Balrog, Urien, Tira, all deities in the Houses of Hatred and Rancor and Villainy.
  • Conflicting Opinion: Vega, Juri Han, Gill, Kolin
  • Elena came to the Pantheon, not in a sense to fight people, but rather to make friends. Thus she has been a frequent visitor to the House of Friendship and befriended (although many say "fell in love") with Gentaro Kisaragi. Jokes are abound that when Gentaro finally confesses his love for her, they won't kiss, but instead do his handshake.
    • She also loves traveling in order to find new people, thus she also enjoys going to the House of Travel, travelling with the likes of Kino, Bartz Klauser and Wander.
  • Elena has the ability to hear the thoughts of trees and learn their secrets. Thus the GUAE and the Council of Shadows ensure that there are no trees in the vicinity. The House of Nature adores her though, the Lorax especially.
    • Once used her hearing abilities on Jack and Annie. The two kids were amazed at how Elena could hear the "Good magic" that dwelled deep within. She's given instant access to use their Magic Treehouse to venture into various books.
  • Also loves studying in the Academy where she likes making more and more friends. Alongside Gentaro, she also befriended Pinkie Pie, and decided that the three would become the Avatars of Friendship and befriend everyone in the Pantheon. They were quickly followed by the likes of Steven Universe and Bayley and the group swiftly became the welcoming committee for any and all ascensions.
  • Was very happy to find her good friend Dudley establishing his own temple, after having met up with him to find the whereabouts of Pandora's Box. She surprised him with a large get-together alongside Gentaro and Pinkie Pie. Then she found out that Alex also made it, and now she is helping Dudley and Alex on their quest to bring the Street Fighter III characters into the Pantheon. When Remy emerged, many gods thought that he would shut her out. They were surprised to find the two having a pleasant conversation in French.
    • Has actually befriended nearly every Street Fighter God in the Pantheon (except for those who work for evil since she dislikes evil). The LOL Rangers once dared her to befriend Akuma. She did...and took a selfie with him! The results of this caused the LOL Rangers to laugh for days on end.
  • It is really hard for her to make enemies, but she once came across Mitsuzane Kureshima who was part of a Beat Rider dancing group, and was angry at how he would go for the side of evil to save his friend. Infuriated, she challenged him to a dance battle which ended awry when Micchy became Armored Rider Ryugen to turn the tables. If it wasn't for Wreck-it Ralph and Dudley, Elena would've kicked his teeth in. Then she learned how Mitsuzane made it to the Villains House...Let's just say this was one of the very rare times when one could see that Elena was pissed. And then things got even worse when she got wind on how Micchy planned on breaking Gentaro and bringing out his alternate self. Better yet, when she found out that it happen. Elena was actually wishing to actively kill Micchy, if Dudley didn't calm her down with tea.
    • Then, not long after, Elena learned of Mitsuzane's older brother coming to the House of Ambiguity. Elena was angry beyond belief and learned that there were others who didn't like Micchy's attitude (The Shield and Matt Hardy being the top two on the list). Takatora had to listen to Elena's tirade of what happens to those who hurt her friends and was willing to kick his teeth in. Once again, Dudley came just in time but also did not like how Takatora's carelessness caused a lady like Elena to be pissed off. Thus, while Elena will team up with Takatora, one can say that she won't give him a friendly smile when they make eye contact.
  • She has been teaching Kai the art of Capoeira in order to improve his abilities within the handstand style.
  • A few gods around the pantheon claim to have noticed that she sometimes sounds a little like Hatsune Miku, but none of them are sure if there's a connection.
  • Found Gentaro interacting with Daisuke Yamamoto one day, exchanging handshakes and hand gestures. Elena finds Kamen Rider Amazon a sweet and friendly soul with a pure rhythm...but she's a bit unnerved to see how Amazon dispatches his enemies.
  • After the fall of Shadaloo, Elena has no idea what to feel about her former enemies: she was shocked to hear that Vega really desired a friendship with her, and she's seen Juri Han slowly warm up to a friendship with Cammy White. As for Balrog? She had no words for him after she learned how he spilled Shadaloo's secrets for cash but upon learning on the separation between him and a young boy named Ed, she has decided that even he can feel something other than greed in his heart.
    • Was not happy to learn that Gill and Urien were in the Pantheon, though. While she understands that Gill's intentions are pure, his actions are something she cannot condone. Even if Gill returned Dudley's father's car back, she's still keeping an eye out on the Illuminati. As for Kolin, she does feel sorry for what happened in her past, but the fact that she sides with Gill means that Kolin will have to be her enemy if they have to fight.
  • Teamed up with her fellow Street Fighters during the Darkstalkers crisis and made an enemy out of Lord Raptor after she used her healing abilities to turn him into a human so he could subsequently get his ass kicked.
  • Was happy to find a friendly African capoeria user with Kofi Kingston, since he hails from Ghana. She was jumping in joy when she learned how he became Universal Champion and quickly became friends with him and with fellow New Day members Xavier Woods and Big E. It helps that, not only are they very upbeat and friendly, but they also have a good friendship with Bayley (one of the Avatars of Friendship).
    • The New Day and Elena were saddened at Bayley's Face–Heel Turn, however. In the meantime, Elena has found K.O as a good substitute as Bayley's position of The Heart but hopes that Bayley can return so that they can continue spreading friendship.
  • Waited a long time for Christie Monteiro to ascend as her High Priestess, but then she heard that Christie was already in the House of Gaming and decided to celebrate the occasion with a friendly fight. It helps that the two already met during a search for Pandora's Box.
  • "I'll show you my dance! You ready?"

    Skid and Pump
Skid: Pump, it's-a Spooky Month!

Pump: Let's go to the Pantheon!

Skid and Pump, Spooky Duo of Repetitive Dances (Both: Kids, Losers, Flesh, Spooky Boys, Spookies, Skidd and Pumpy)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/skidpump.jpg
  • Lesser Deities
  • Symbol: Their costumes
  • Theme Songs: Scary Swings, Tomorrow, Friendly Nightmares, Spookeez and South
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Halloween Episode, Dressed as a Skeleton and Pumpkin respectively, Befriended the Eyes of the Universe, Spooky Dance
  • Domains: Spooky Month, Dancing, Celebration, Friendship, Mischief, Adventure.
  • Heralds: Lila (Skid's mom), Frank, The Eyes of the Universe, Ooga Booga, Kevin.
  • Superior: Sr Pelo
  • Allies: Kthanid, Luigi, Courage, Jack Skellington, The Dancing Skeletons, Spooky, Koume Shirasaka, Skullomania, Erma, Fujino Asagami
  • Enemies (Mostly one-sided, they don't really hate anyone): Pazuzu, Pennywise/It, Mad King Thorn, The Headless Horseman, Jack O'Lantern, Michael Myers, Conal Cochran
  • Dislike: Bullies
  • Meet Skid and Pump, two mischievous children with one goal, to celebrate the Spooky Month! Whenever said month arrives, they are bound to get involved in some wacky adventures and meet all sorts of strange people but they always have fun while doing so. And one of the things they love doing in the Spooky month is doing the Spooky Dance, which ultimately landed them a spot in the Pantheon.
  • How did they ascend you ask? Well, they thought that it was Spooky Month (it was June but no one bothered to tell them) and so decided to visit the Pantheon while doing all sorts of things that got them in trouble. The Court of Gods found them adorable and awarded them a title for their Spooky Dance. They also find the Pantheon to be quite the Spooky place, enforcing the belief that in the Pantheon it's always Spooky Month!
  • The kids rarely stay in their temple, often preferring to explore the Pantheon which tends to get the duo in trouble since most of the unsavoury deities are unlikely to cut them some slack like their home universe creatures do, though they are surprisingly adept at avoiding getting injured by the more scary deities. They also can somehow teleport around the Pantheon on a whim with no clear explanation of how they tend to get there.
  • Their creator, Sr Pelo, was happy to learn about the arrival of Skid and Pump and threw a party by also inviting every other of his creations. Things got out of control once someone suddenly pointed out that Spooky Month was about to end and December was approaching, prompting Mokey Mouse to exclaim that "it's KRIIIMAAAAAAA!"'' and went on a rampage. Since then, there has been some regulations on certain creators allowing their creations in the Pantheon but Skid and Pump were allowed to stay.
  • The duo rarely actively tries to make enemies but given how they tend to get involved in dangerous activities, the boys were told to behave. One deity that actively despises them however is the demon Pazuzu, only because they don't find him that scary and refer to him as the "Ooga Booga". And besides, their friend Moloch is much more scarier. The Ooga Booga in question tends to roam the Pantheon occassionally and try to scare random deities. Nobody can seem to catch her as she seems to slip by and is somehow tied to the Spookies temple.
  • During one of their adventures they ended up coming across the "Eyes of the Universe" who somehow ended befriending the kids after being told it was Spooky Month. Skid and Pump has since been trying to be friendly towards other similar creatures like Eyes but they haven't had such luck until they met Kthanid, who turned out to be a pretty friendly fellow and also was interested in Spooky Month. Some have said that occassionally two glowing stars can be spotted in the sky whenever Skid and Pump are near, implying their friend Eyes is watching over them.
  • Some have questioned the type of friends these two make considering a few of those don't have the best of intentions (such as Frank, one of their heralds who is often seen in a creepy van). That and the fact that they believe they don't really have enemies even though several creatures have come close to killing them. For instance, one time they confused Pennywise for their friend Mr. Clown, but this one wasn't willing to tell funny jokes and almost devoured them (unluckily for Pennywise, the children weren't scared of him). Another one was Michael Myers, who also failed to intimidate the children and they thought he wanted to play tag with them.
    • There was another incident where the two almost were tricked by Conal Cochran into buying some masks specially designed for Spooky Month until Pump noticed a strange chip attached to it. With his plans foiled, Conal almost murdered the duo himself but the kids were smart enough to run away before they could catch them. According to Skid, the experience was not a pleasant one and would rather stay away from the scary man.
Skid: "It wasn't spooky, it was scary!"
  • Given how famous their Spooky Dance is, they are happy to teach anyone who wants to participate in the Spooky Month. The Dancing Skeletons were one of the first to approach the kids and both Skid and Pump were amazed considering a skeleton is what inspired the dance. After a few sessions, Skid and Pump became honorary members of the Skeletons.
  • Skid and Pump are notable for constantly celebrating Spooky Month even when it's not actually Halloween. Entering the House of Celebration they met Jack Skellington who was happy to welcome another pair who would celebrate "Spooky Month" as they call it. However, given the grand number of other Halloween entities that aren't strictly good people, the kids have tried to not provoke those but still occassionally pull pranks on the likes of King Thorn and the Headless Horseman.
  • The fearless duo one time stumbled upon Luigi in a abandoned part of the Pantheon and asked him if he was looking for ghosts. Luigi was initially spooked by the sudden appearance of Skid and Pump but he was nice enough to allow them to help him catch a few unruly Boos that were terrorizing this haunted mansion. After a job well done, Luigi invited them to eat some candy and remained good friends with the kids since then, usually being the one to look after them when they get into trouble.
  • One of the things they looked forward the most after arriving to the Pantheon was about making new friends. They first went to look for others that were celebrating Spooky Month and ultimately met people that were into horror stuff like Koume Shirasaka (who found them adorable and asked them to appear in a future video she is preparing when she is going to perform the Spooky Dance) and Fujino Asagami (who also found the duo adorable and being with them is a nice distraction from her predicaments). They also befriended Courage after learning about his constant encounter with Spooky monsters and wanted to teach him the Spooky Dance, Courage found them nice enough and played along.
  • Spooky quickly learned about the so-called "Spooky Month" and she got mad that there was a celebration that included her name but didn't involve her whatsoever, so she challenged Skid and Pump to try and survive her Jumpscare Mansion and manage to go through all 1000 rooms. The spookies accepted and Spooky was left surprised when they were able to not only escape her mansion without a hitch and in record time, but also befriending other monsters inside. But Spooky ultimately grew fond of the kids and became friends with them after a while, often joining in to prank some unsuspecting deities.
  • People have wondered if Skid and Skullomania are related but neither seem to know one another but Skid was impressed about Skullo's outfit and asked him if he was celebrating Spooky Month. These unlikely friendship led to Skullomania utilizing the spooky dance whenever he is on duty.
  • There was one time where both Skid and Pump challenged a blue haired rapper to a rap battle and for their age, the duo surprised said teenager after being pretty competent at rapping. Since the experience, Skid and Pump became friends with the Boyfriend (said rapper) and his Girlfriend and one day hope to see them become part of the Pantheon.

    The Dancing Skeletons
The Dancing Skeletons, Deities of Dancing Undead and Xylobones

  • Domains: Cartoons, Skeletons, Comedy, Dancing, Music, Bones
  • Allies: Jack Skellington, Sans and Papyrus, Death(Regular Show), Grim, Hector, Ember McClain, Brook, Karthus, Amigo, Lord Raptor, Marceline Abadeer
  • On good terms with: Night-related deities (Princess Luna, Nightmare Moon, Selene, Nox)
  • Enemies: Nekron and the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, The Grand Duke of Owls, Dhuum, Chernabog
  • Avoids: Deities who control the day
  • During the day, the dead stay in their graves. But during the night, the skeletons get out of their grave and dance. They can use their bones in playful manners, most notably ribcages as makeshift xylophones. These spooky scary skeletons were the first of the Silly Symphonies.
  • Though they appeared in a short and never spoke, their charm and merriment was an iconic moment in animation. It's actually a reference to the danse macabre. They were very happy to learn there was another skeletal entertainer, Brook, in the House of Music. The skeletons now serve as Brook's back-up singers.
  • Stand up for the argument that "dead lives matter" and Dark Is Not Evil. They work to give the undead a better name, and perform for living deities that enter. Sans and Papyrus consider them to be really fun and have joined them in the dance. Only during the night however, as during the day they sleep.
  • As they are only active during the night, they avoid any day-related deity. Instead, they prefer to be under the cover of night and moon-related deities. The big exception to this is Chernabog, who's own views on ghoulish entertainment is corruption and acts of evil. He betrays the night, in their eyes.
  • They don't like Nekron, and Nekron doesn't like them. Nekron is of the belief that death is a silence and peace that all must undergo, and finds the Dancing Skeletons to be an insult to death. The Dancing Skeletons in turn see Nekron as a cosmic killjoy who gives the undead a bad name, and they don't want everyone to die. They are afraid his herald might control them with his Black Lantern powers, though even Black Hand sometimes joins in with their merriment. He actually seems to like them.
  • Some of the evil undead do get along with the Dancing Skeletons, such as Lord Raptor who loves rocking out with them. Of course, this could be because some of the skeletons are assholes like one who used a cat as a violin. Karthus' positive attributes are shown whenever he hangs out with them, treating them with the upmost respect. Sometimes they get to come to Pentakill concerts.
  • Jack Skellington was the exact kind of "skele-bro" they were fond of. He's an excellent host, and they feel at home in Halloweentown. Unlike Nekron, reapers Lord Death, Grim and the Death of Regular Show enjoyed them. Dhuum, on the other hand, hates the fact that they're undead and don't just stay in their graves like everyone who died is supposed to(according to him, of course).
  • Don't like owls, as they tend to spook them. One of them threw their skull at an owl to get it to quit hooing. The Grand Duke of Owls spooked many of them, and while they do like the idea of a night that never ends they don't like the idea of an evil owl bringing it forth.
  • Marceline has joined in their fun, and introduced rock and roll. Being from 1929 it wasn't something they knew about, but it was something that really caught on with them. As did Amigo, who livened up the place. Jack O'Lantern tried to get in, but they had already sided with Jack Skellington and opposed his efforts. Also, his pranks were pretty cruel, though some of them thought they were Actually Pretty Funny. Hector and Ember McClainget along with them as well.
  • Off duty Guardians, when given the opportunity in the dead of night, also join in with the Dancing Skeletons. Despite their looks, they're actually liches. Of course, the Guardians who wield Solar abilities are mindful to hide them when accompanying them.

  • Rivals: The Music Meister (one-sided)
  • Opposed by: Kazar, The Evil Queen, Maleficent, Master Xehanort
  • Ascended at the Gates of the Pantheon, causing the whole House of Music to play her leitmotif and other gods to come into spontaneous choreography. Made her temple by singing a song that caused all animals to come help out... even the non-cute ones.
  • Hangs out with Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora in the House of Royalty where they have their animal friends help clean up. The other three princesses have gotten used to the cockroaches, rats and flies that Giselle brought with her.
  • The Music Meister sees her as his rival, seeing as she can make people go into a huge Crowd Song at her leisure. Giselle argues back that she doesn't do it out of any evil, compared to him.
  • Master Xehanort is looking at her to see whether or not she can be used as a replacement Princess of Heart, since there's still one missing from the pantheon. Giselle has no response to this.
    • He's since changed his mind after discovering that the Unknown Thief also lacks darkness in her heart, and is opting to use her instead. Xehanort has no idea that the Thief is the missing Princess of Heart: Kairi. When she heard of this, Giselle was relieved that she's no longer being stalked.
  • Loves going to the House of Craft to sew dresses. Many Gods have complained when they wake up in the morning to find their bedsheets and curtains with giant dress-sized holes in them, though.
  • Has been known to hang out with Lois Lane on occasion, sharing a laugh at their occasional look-alike status. Lois has been silent so far on whether she's ever joined in singing with the princess, although Giselle's been known to sing "Can You Read My Mind" on occasion....
  • Once the Heptapods mistook her for Louise Banks, leading to an amusing incident where Giselle sung about them. The aliens are still trying to both translate the song to their language, and understand why every other human around was entranced by it.
  • Shatterstar greatly sympathizes and gets along with Giselle as they were both thrown into a world that perceived theirs as entertainment. He can sometimes be seen in his off days watching the elaborate dance routines that Giselle thrown using her temple's power and natural charisma.
  • Sometimes goes out on karaoke trips with Maria von Trapp. Both found love in unexpected places, though Giselle sometimes wishes her man liked singing more. It also gave Maria the possibility of seeing New York City, a completely different beast from her home in Austria.
  • For all of his villainy, Kazar is rather theatrical and musical about his fanatical devotion to the Great Him and should any of his minions couldn't stay in sync, he would punish them like he did with Blag. This would lead him to Giselle and the idol group Muse, who often perform in musical numbers (with Giselle doing it on improv) and they are humans that Kazar found to be suitable prey even if he finds it a shame that they couldn't join him for a number. Giselle has became antagonistic of Kazar especially once she found out that not even he would obey her command when the other animals did, with some positing that it might be that he comes from an unfamiliar habitat from Giselle's while others said that he is too vile to listen to her. The idol girls are understandably scared of him because as far as they know, wildebeests shouldn't be eating meat though luckily, their capable allies are there to defend them from him.

    Baby and Johnny

  • Allies: The Muppets, Danny and Sawyer, Mumble, Ferdinand, Rose Bukater, Jack Dawson, Lady and Tramp, Marianne and Héloïse, Belle and the Beast, The Curtis Gang
  • Enemies: Cal Hockley
  • Frances, affectionately nicknamed Baby, spent the summer of 1963 with her family in a Catskills resort. There, she became infatuated with Johnny, a handsome dance instructor. Chasing him around the resort led to the discovery that his friend and dance partner, Penny, was pregnant by Robbie, a waiter, med school student and all-around cad, and needed to get an abortion. Robbie wouldn't take responsibility, so Baby, having a strong sense of justice, not only decided to provide the money needed for the abortion, but also replace Penny as Johnny's partner. Despite initial skepticism on Johnny's part, he fell in love with her throughout their training sessions. Unfortunately, Baby's relationship with her father became strained as he learned of her involvement in the abortion. She also worried about Robbie setting his sights on her sister Lisa. Then, Johnny's low status led to him being accused of theft, which Baby cleared by revealing that they were together on the night of the incident, disappointing her father further and getting Johnny fired despite her good intentions. Regardless, Johnny decided to crash the season's final party and do one last dance with Baby, amazing all present. Baby's father also realized the kind of man Robbie was, leading to his reconciliation with both his daughter and Johnny.
  • There was a time when the Pantheon had a bit of a dearth of interest in dance. In order to boost interest, and given Johnny was still out of a job, the Pantheon thought it a fit pretext to ascend him by offering him employment instructing various deities how to dance. Of course Baby, as Johnny's partner, was offered the position as well; there was also the fact that her humanistic actions had impressed quite a few deities. Despite the usual token reservations about entering a world like the Pantheon, Johnny thought he'd be an idiot not to take the job opportunity, while Baby was excited to learn more about different worlds and meet different people. Thus they were both ascended and made a thundering Pantheonic debut in the Muppet Show, briefly turning the whole theatre into a dance stage as most of the deities present joined in the dance. Once that was done, Johnny made sure to bring his friends in as Heralds so they could get some extra bucks as well, while Baby elected to let her sister Lisa in on the secret in honor of their recently strengthened relationship.
  • Right off the bat, they managed to make some unusual acquaintances at the Muppet Show (besides the Muppets themselves; that's a given), consisting of a pair of cats going by the names of Danny and Sawyer. As it happens, the felines had a musical in the pipeline, a joint along the lines of a Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers vehicle, and they thought Baby and Johnny were just perfect to coach them. Despite his bemusement at the idea of coaching two cartoon cats who were apparently big-name actors among the fauna, Johnny acquiesced. The two entertainer couples became good friends throughout their lessons, especially as they heard of each other's love stories, which are similar in how Baby and Danny were the idealists who managed to change Johnny and Sawyer's grim outlooks through their actions. In the end, Danny and Sawyer's movie was a big hit and they made sure to give Baby and Johnny due credit for it.
  • The ascension of these dancing deities was warmly received by other deified dancers like the tap-dancing penguin Mumble and even the bull Ferdinand, who dances flamenco and freestyle. They certainly went a long way in getting the couple acclimated to just how bizarre things in the Pantheon can be, but either way, they could both appreciate that Mumble and Ferdinand had passion and talent for the craft.
  • They were once sought out by the Beast, who sheepishly asked them if they could give him at least some pointers so he could be more confident while dancing with Belle (he's rather more skilled at it when he's human, but people in the Pantheon would rather see him as the Beast). Despite his frightening appearance, the couple found his demeanor too humble and endearing to deny his request. Belle eventually also started attenting in order to spice things up with the Beast and the two couples have become good friends since. Altogether, Baby and Johnny can be considered the go-to deities for getting dance lessons and are thus held in high esteem by the various inhabitants in the Houses of Musicality and Theatre and Spectacle.
  • Baby and Johnny's relationship didn't always go smoothly, and a big part of that is due to their difference in social status, as Baby comes from a well-off family and Johnny belongs to the working class. That difference came across in how other people treated them and sometimes how they treated each other. Fortunately it all worked out for the best as their different perspectives played off each other and made them better people. There are a few other couples with a similar dynamic in the Pantheon and it seems the one they get along with best is Rose Bukater and Jack Dawson. Rose and Baby relate to each other for how they both felt shackled down by their higher class status and their hunger for trying out all sorts of new things, and Jack and Johnny get along as well because of their hard lives and how people are quick to think little of them for being lower class.
    • Of course their friendship with Jack and Rose leads to them feeling animosity towards Cal Hockley, though that's not the sole reason; Cal is an extremely arrogant and entitled member of the privileged class, which rather reminds Baby and Johnny of Robbie, who had a very similar personality to Cal and was prone to treat the people (mostly women) around him as toys to discard once he got tired of them and generally acted as if he was better than everybody else. Given Cal is another example of the worst the high social classes can be, Baby and Johnny have nothing but contempt for him. Cal probably feels the same, given the happy couple serves as another reminder of how he couldn't win Rose's heart and she is totally fine being with a penniless artist.
  • They've also become great friends with two dogs, Lady and Tramp, who despite their species were also initially separated by social disparity. Knowing of this commonality in their relationships, and since Baby and Johnny live in a relatively rustic area of the Pantheon (due to being modeled after the Catskills), Lady and Tramp enjoy visiting them. One can sometimes see Johnny playing fetch with Tramp or some other game.
  • Johnny lifting Baby as the high point of their most famous dance routine is a fairly iconic image. When it was committed to painting and displayed at the House of Craft, it was an embarrassing but flattering event for them. They decided to meet the painter who created it, which was a French woman named Marianne. She admitted she found their relationship rather similar to one she had due to the societal obstacles in their way and thus couldn't help but attempt to express that through painting. It wasn't until much later that Baby and Johnny understood that the relationship Mariane was talking about was the one she now has with the woman she lives with, Héloïse. That sort of relationship wouldn't be tolerated back in their world, but Baby and Johnny have decided not to let it get in the way of their good relationship, given they all went through similar sufferings, including helping a friend get an abortion at a time when such a thing was illegal.
  • Much to their confusion, Johnny was once hailed by a few young greasers who referred to him as Darry. Apparently Johnny has a very strong resemblance to the leader of these greasers, down to the way they dress, even. The greasers, known as the Curtis Gang, were going to go on their way in embarrassment at their mistake, but Baby insisted on making their acquaintance by visiting their temple. The greasers were rather impressed at her fearlessness and lack of presumption for someone they would consider a Soc. After some time, they started accepting Baby and Johnny as good friends. Johnny meeting Darry, who bears his likeness, had a rather bittersweet effect on him as he realized the sacrifices Darry had made to support his brother. Johnny really respects that and can only hope he's half as decent as Darry.

  • Nina Sayers is a 28-year-old woman who lives with her overprotective mother and dances for the prestigious New York City ballet company. The company opens the season with Swan Lake, and director Thomas Leroy chooses Nina for the main role of Swan Queen. However, Nina, although perfect for the pure and fragile White Swan, is unable to embody the role of the passionate, seductive Black Swan. Nina's mental state deteriorates as she obsesses in giving a perfect performance under the pressure of others and is forced to confront her own inner sexual repression due to the opposing natures of the White Swan and Black Swan, causing her to suffer hallucinations. She is gradually driven over the edge, completing her metamorphosis from a repressed, virginal woman into the Black Swan.
  • After completing her perfect performance in Swan Lake as the White Swan and Black Swan, Nina was transported to the Pantheon as she laid bleeding out on the mattress from her self-inflicted wound through fighting off a hallucination of herself. She had awoken, thinking that she had died and been sent to the afterlife. When informed that she was chosen as the Goddess of Creepy Ballet for losing her mind when cast in Swan Lake, culminating in her terrifying yet beautiful performance as the Black Swan, Nina herself thought that this was another hallucination of hers. However, she soon realized that her ascension was very much real. After a period of mental treatment in the House of Health and Diseases, Nina has recovered from her mental illness and fully taken on her duties as a deity. Mentally recovered and still having a love for ballet, Nina has embraced her newfound title even in spite of its unnerving connotations.
  • As one of the most renowned ballerinas in the Pantheon, Nina has taken something of a mentor role for Ahiru. In spite of her clumsiness and lack of discipline, there is great promise in Ahiru's enthusiasm and flair when dancing that Nina positively recognizes. Understanding the stress and toxicity of ballet culture, Nina has taken a more nurturing role for the young dancer. It's for this reason that Ahiru is grateful for Nina's guidance, aspiring to be as good of a dancer as her one day. She's glad that the professional ballerina, who has come to understand the negatives of perfectionism, is patient with her inadequacies. Nina is currently planning an amateur ballet for Ahiru and other promising ballerina deities to perform in and show off their work.
  • Now in the Pantheon, Nina has had the chance to meet the fabled Princess Odette herself. It was visceral for Nina to meet the princess and hear about her life – transforming into a swan, overcoming obstacles at the hands of villains such as Sir Rothbart, and finding love with Prince Derek. She felt relieved happiness for Odette, who did not tragically commit suicide after her love Prince Siegfried was seduced by Odile unlike her counterpart in Nina's ballet company's Swan Lake. Nina also felt a hint of envy for Odette's resilience, able to maintain her courage in dangerous situations while Nina herself was meek and fragile for most of her life. Odette enjoys Nina's company, and Nina herself sees Odette's kind nature as a positive influence for her – a breath of fresh air compared to the people in her life in New York City.
  • One of the first things Nina did upon her ascension was audition for the Swan Lake play in the House of Theatre and Spectacle. A professional ballet dancer in the New York City Ballet company and now embracing the repressed aspects of her identity, Nina wowed the auditioners with the grace of her ballet dancing as both the White Swan and Black Swan. They were amazed by how perfectly she could fulfill both roles as a ballet dancer despite their opposite differences in character. She easily earned the main role of the play and has become acclaimed as one of the best ballet dancers in the Pantheon. However, the House has kept her past mental instability in mind and been closely watching over her, even if she has improved her mental health.
    • Although Nina's performance in Swan Lake has received widespread critical acclaim among the Pantheon for her flawlessness in technique and style befitting her roles, her performance as Odile/The Black Swan has led to an age restriction for showings of the ballet. Nina's appearance as Odile with intimidating red contacts and makeup has instilled fear in some of the younger deities who watched the early showings of the ballet. Along with the ballet being a darker take on Tchaikovsky's original story, the House of Theatre and Spectacle thought it best to enact the age restriction, with deities below the age of 13 required to be accompanied by an adult. Nina thought it was for the best anyways, understanding that there is a level of maturity required to understand the play and her performance.
  • Nina can easily relate to Mima Kirigoe on a psychological level. Like the ballerina, the singer-turned-actress's struggle with the increasingly-intense demands of her role, similar to Nina's struggle in becoming the Black Swan, caused her to lose her grip on reality, leading her to hallucinate an evil doppelganger. The two women both found commonality in the demanding environments of acting and ballet. Nina was glad to hear that Mima, after much tribulation, overcame her identity crisis and became a successful actress with more agency and maturity. Mima felt relief that Nina found some comfort in maturing as a woman and ballet dancer in spite of the damage to her mind, glad that she has gotten the help she needed within the Pantheon. The two women found many similarities between their life events, wondering if it was coincidental or not.
  • She has noticed her own strong resemblance to Padmé Amidala. Nina holds a degree of admiration toward her, seeing Padmé as dignified and strong despite sharing Nina's own appearance and in contrast to her formerly meek, unstable self that she is just recently growing out of. However, Padmé admitted to Nina that in life she herself slowly fell into despair as everything she had worked for fell apart and her husband turned to evil. Nina could relate to her own mental anguish as her perfectionism to be the perfect Black Swan was too much and she had an identity crisis. Finding comfort in her words, Nina resolved to improve her ballet and mental state – to embody grace and strength while recognizing her own painful past.
  • Her treatment in the House of Health and Diseases had the ascended psychologists/psychiatrists attempt to diagnose Nina. Her delusion of a rivalry with Lily, hallucination of skin peeling and transforming into a black swan, paranoid mistrust, and visual and auditory hallucinations of Lily and a malevolent doppelgänger led them to suspect her mental disorder to be paranoid schizophrenia. However, they were not entirely sure about their working diagnosis, which was based on Nina's recall of her symptoms, and also considered psychosis in their differential. Nevertheless, through the work of a team of trained mental health professionals, Nina was able to treated. Considering everything she had endured mentally and physically, Nina is deeply appreciative of her life as a new person and goddess.
  • Watching Nina dance stirred up hints of her old humanity in Amélie Lacroix/Widowmaker, having been a ballet dancer in her former life, who even now dresses as the white swan Odette and black swan Odile on occasion. However, it for this reason that the cold-hearted assassin also feels a compulsion to kill Nina when reminded of her, feeling a desire to destroy the remnants of her past thanks to Talon's programming. Nina, upon learning of Widowmaker's past, felt pity for the assassin, turned from a ballet dancer happy with her husband into a living weapon with her will broken and personality suppressed. Nina, having undergone immense psychological damage from undertaking the Black Swan role when she was already in a fragile mental state as a perfectionist with an overbearing mother, could empathize even with the merciless assassin.
  • Nina found a lot of common ground with Pearl: grace, ballet, perfectionist tendencies, and a fragile ego. For this reason, they get along very well. However, one aspect of Pearl's personality that Nina finds uncomfortable is her overprotecting tendencies towards Steven – wanting him home even at the slightest hint of danger and thinking that he's too young to know about certain darker topics. Nina can't help but be slightly reminded of her own mother Erica, who treated her adult daughter like a child to a disturbing degree. However, she's glad to hear that Pearl is much more understandable and improving in that regard. Thanks to their similarities, speaking with each other gave the two much introspection in regards to their perfectionism – Pearl was treated as merely an ornament for other Gems so she constantly tries prove it wrong, while Nina tied her self-worth to ballet because her mother's pregnancy ruined her own ballerina career. Thus, thanks to their relationship of mutual understanding, the two women are are helping each other slowly, but surely, improve on themselves.
  • Now in a good mental state following her treatment, Nina has avoided ever getting near the House of Madness and Insanity. Hearing of the House's manifestation of its inhabitants' madness and chaotic nature easily made her dread the risk of relapse. Nina fears losing her sanity again, not wanting to suffer from paranoia as well as hallucinate her evil doppelgänger, self-mutilation, and distortions of people she's familiar with ever again. Aware of the Demogorgon, she's glad that the Grand United Alliance of Good detains his presence whenever he leaves his temple. A mere Quasideity in the presence of an evil Greator God, Nina does not want to imagine what would happen to her should she be in the presence of the Unholy Spreader of Madness.
  • She can also be found in Fearsome Archetypes.
  • "It was perfect... I was perfect..."
