L-R: Zhang Fei, Liu Bei, Guan Yu
  • Intermediate Gods
  • Symbol: A peach tree
  • Theme Music
  • Alignment: Liu Bei and Guan Yu are Lawful Good, Zhang Fei is Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Swearing an oath of brotherhood, Asskicking Leads to Leadership, Honor Before Reason, morally better than they were historically
  • Domains: Brotherhood, War, Heroism, Honor, Loyalty
  • Heralds: Those aligned with the Kingdom of Shu.
  • Special Relationships: Sun Shangxiang (Liu Bei's wife), Guan Yinping (Guan Yu's daughter), Zhang Xingcai (Zhang Fei's daughter).
  • Allies: Huang Zhong, Sanada Yukimura, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Honda Tadakatsu, Mami Tomoe
  • Enemies: The Wei, Wu and Jin kingdoms, Lu Bu, Diaochan, Palpatine
  • Mutual respect: Many Sengoku-era warriors
  • Rivals: Xiahou Dun (Guan Yu), Cu Chulainn (Zhang Fei)
  • Worthy Opponent: Tyr (Guan Yu)
  • The later years of the Han dynasty were plagued by corruption within the court, leading to the dissatisfaction of the people and eventual fragmentation of the empire. Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were three men who stood out in their loyalty to the institution, having sworn a brotherhood oath to help each other in defending the empire from its enemies. Liu Bei would go on to found the kingdom of Shu as the legitimate successor to the fallen empire, but there were rivals in the form of the kingdom of Wei and the kingdom of Wu. Each of these three kingdoms vied for the reunification of the country on their own terms, in a conflict that lasted for about 60 years.
  • Despite that their oath included the weighty hope that all three died on the same day, it was not to be as Guan Yu was captured and executed by Sun Quan, Zhang Fei's bad temper and poor treatment of his subordinates got him assassinated in his sleep, and Liu Bei only much later died of illness. Their strong loyalty to each other and many feats in one of Chinese history's bloodier eras got them quickly noticed by the Pantheon and they ascended. All three were glad to be able to fight at each other's side again and hope they can be like this until the end of time.
  • As heavenly as the Pantheon can be, it seems things are not to be peaceful for the three, as many of their old enemies are around. One of their greatest foes, Cao Cao, has even aligned himself with fellow ruthless warlord Oda Nobunaga, opening up a whole other roster of mighty warriors that the three have to watch out for. Fortunately, that came with its own opportunities for new alliances, with Liu Bei wasting no time in reaching out to Ieyasu and Yukimura for their support. They also often meet in calmer circumstances to exchange tales of the wars they've gone through, a fascinating topic for all the parties involved.
  • All are noted for being action dads, though how well their children succeed them in this regard varies. Zhang Fei's and Guan Yu's daughters are remarkably competent, but Liu Bei's son is... lackluster. Despite that, Liu Bei gets a lot of grief from the Heroic Protectors of Family and Relatives for throwing his infant son to the ground. He has expressed intense regret at his rash decision. He now treats his son properly and suspects that his son may understand more about benevolence than he ever did.
  • Palpatine once tried to have the 501st abduct Liu Bei to use as leverage against Guan Yu and forge an alliance with Cao Cao. Before they could even get to the front gates, Zhang Fei let off a roar which paralyzed the entire legion with fear, and then proceeded to slaughter them.
  • While it was known that Liu Bei was a rather treacherous being that betrayed several lords he served under, he recognized that he's trying to fix the image to live up the benevolent persona he preached. Not to mention, many would still comment that he still rewarded those who served under him generously in as much as he could, and it was a time of war; he was doing what he could to survive, not out of malice. All in all, he wished he paid more attention to the history department of his kingdom. Even then, people and Liu Bei himself have pointed out that he didn't bother to rat out his former superiors to their respective enemies; he just packed up and left as an independent power.
    • That, and he wondered if there could have been mutual peace between the respective camps of his two sons Liu Shan and adopted one named Liu Feng, who was ordered to commit suicide for him having more positive influence over the inheritance of the Shu throne. He also still admits he did pull off some crocodile tears towards Liu Zhang when it came to Yi Province, but he still had to try and claim Shu by any means.
  • Liu Bei is rather surprised at the form of Mouri Motonari, who is far different from the lazy, yet level headed and scholarly man that Liu Bei remembers him as. This happened again with Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Date Masamune. While he is sorry that Hideyoshi is far darker, much like Motonari, he is pleased to find that Masamune does not and will never worship Orochi and is actually rather amiable. Mitsunari however, is not that different. Or perhaps is much worse (psychologically speaking) than his "cool-helmet-wearing" counterpart.
  • Had a VERY awkward reunion with his brother in law, Sun Ce. However, Ce assured him that he doesn't blame him for the actions that he took following the tragedy at Fan Castle, as had one of his siblings been lost, he probably would have gone on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge as well.
    • Then comes the fact that Sun Quan may be able to relate, since both him and Liu Bei have lost a lot of family up to the point of Yiling. Sun Jian may or may not feel very awkward about a large family of sworn-brothers and sisters-in-law. Though also on Sun Quan's case, Liu Bei started to weep a bit when he found out that Sun Quan's frequent losses of family may have possibly drove him insane out of grief historically....
      • He also hopes that both Sun Quan and Zhang Fei don't end up drinking together; taking into account the historical Sun Quan and the fictional Zhang Fei in tandem, Liu Bei has predicted destructively-disastrous results....and it seems his fellow brother-in-law Sun Ce could not agree more. Cao Cao himself however, also realizes even more disaster will occur if his middle son Cao Zhi (ANOTHER infamous drunkard) joins in....
  • Also apparently a master of distraction tactics. If he's really not in the mood to talk, all he has to do is point behind the one who talked to him and yell "LOOK, BAOZI FAIRY!" then run off. He gets creative at times and replaces his words with other things if 'Baozi' does not work.
    • Liu Bei wonders if it's his awkwardly subpar military record from his historical records catching up to him in terms of always having setbacks on his own (despite having a few other prior victories with other collaborations), especially when former Xu Province ruler Tao Qian (someone else who was as bad and fictionally-whitewashed as Liu Bei) used it against the creator of the tactic out of karma. Liu Xuande can only shrug and sigh.
  • Allegedly it was Guan Yu who taught Mami Tomoe the secret to keeping those impossible fabulous twin-corkscrew tails nice-and-curled even in combat. Mami has not remarked on said matter, but nonetheless states she is fond of Lord Guan as a scholar and a gentleman.
  • Guan Yu has been seen fighting side-by-side or having brawls with various deities like Hercules, Thor, Zeus. Guan Yu considered this a great honor, but it turns out that he didn't quite understand the concept of 'joke'. Upon further investigation, it was concluded that this was because according to his views, War Is Hell and to joke about it is to insult those who died in it.
    • He also accidentally triggered a change in Aphrodite, when he was protected with her Undying Love, and he in turn shares his Conviction to her, it removed an element of the Pandora's Box plaguing her. It didn't change much about her personality, but it let open to the Pantheon that she's a Broken Bird with insecurity issues. At the very least, Guan Yu is glad that such devilish element cannot threaten the Pantheon again, especially seeing how last time it ruined the Greek Pantheon until Kratos demolished everything.
    • That said, to differentiate from Kratos, Guan Yu may call himself the "Army God" instead of the "God of War", which is the literal translation of his moniker in many Asian accounts.
  • There was a lot of things that he did that was overhyped by one of the greatest novels in his land, which included the aforementioned beheading of Hua Xiong, passing through five gates, and a lot of overrated things. Guan Yu has made it clear that people should think twice before overhyping him, he's no perfect and virtuous man, he may be loyal and honorable, but he's also arrogant as claimed possibly in his historical self's records and even with his novel portrayal. His afterlife version has apparently learned his lessons.
    • Hilariously enough, Xiahou Dun, one of his rivals, can also relate to him since he too, is overhyped by a certain someone named Akihiro Suzuki...Guan Yu despite noticing Yuanrang's animosity towards him can easily relate and shrug at the whole matter.
    • As it turned out, he received reports that there was a misinformed realm that believed the reverse of that novel and almost changed the face of perception (that his historical self is horrible without any redeeming qualities). Guan Yu wanted to make sure that the misinformation end as quick as possible, but has taken his historical misdeeds into account such as stealing from Sun Quan's crops to feed his own new recruits at Fan Castle while also bad-mouthing his ambassador for Guan Yinping's hand in marriage to one of Sun Quan's other sons (having someone else touch his daughter is still a big no-no). He wishes most of his children can decide their own destinies and not to blindly follow in his own spotlight as with his aforementioned flaws.
  • One of his mortal friends is none other than Wei's Zhang Liao. However, Guan Yu prefers that no one mentions about how he's gay for him and calls him "Prince Wenyuan" lovingly. They are not like that, even if they have high respects to each other. He's a bit upset that he dropped his iconic gouliandao ("hook sickle blade") for a pair of axes, and wishes one day for him to pick it up again.
    • Also wonders if the same awkward thing may apply to his other friend Xu Huang (style name: Gongming)....he himself states that he wonders how the two of them are friends in the first place since Xu Huang was said to historically be a bit of an introverted workaholic...Zhang Liao had something to do with it perhaps? But it also helps in that Xu Huang's motif for the White Tiger is a foil to Guan Yu and Zhang Liao's Azure Dragon motif.
  • Guan Yu apparently keeps a copy of the famous Chunqiu Zuoshi AKA Zuo Chuan (Zuo Propagate), and they say it's his favorite book to read and study, though Guan Yu himself has said his historical self disagrees since part of his ambiguous historical records have stated he's not one to enjoy scholars. Lu Meng, another rival of his, has offered to be his study partner when the time comes since he compared to Xiahou Dun has had less personal beef towards Guan Yu.
  • Another notable aspect of Guan Yu? The Chinese people like giving him very big and intimidating titles. In 1614, the Wanli Emperor bestowed on Guan Yu the title "Holy Emperor Guan, the Great God Who Subdues Demons in the Three Worlds and Whose Awe Spreads Far and Moves Heaven". During the Qing dynasty, the Shunzhi Emperor gave Guan Yu the title of "Guan, the Loyal and Righteous God of War, the Holy Great Deity" in 1644. This title was expanded to "Guan the Holy Great Deity; God of War Manifesting Benevolence, Bravery and Prestige; Protector of the Country and Defender of the People; Prow and Honest Supporter of Peace and Reconciliation; Promoter of Morality, Loyalty and Righteousness", a total of 24 Chinese characters, by the mid-19th century. Guan Yu himself wishes he could just stick to one or just a few small titles.
  • His dragon motif is noted to be taken up a notch with his aforementioned Chinese title of Emperor Guan, with his weapons literally being named after the Azure Dragon, Yellow Dragon and God Dragon. This feeds into his rivalry with Xiahou Dun, who wields a kirin-themed scimitar.
  • Zhang Fei often visits the House of Food to indulge in his second favorite pastime after a battle, drinking.
  • Gets along well with Honda Tadakatsu, whom he fought alongside once. Their devotion to their lord, and their protectiveness of their respective daughters, provide ample connection to drink over. Of course, he felt a bit unnerved because apparently Tadakatsu... drinks oil this time around. He breathed easier when all of a sudden, the Tadakatsu he met has ascended.
  • There was a debate on how historically he committed one certain crime into his wife, Xiahou Ji. It was a great shame on Zhang Fei's side when learning that, but said wife assured him that she was eventually with him at her own consent (first time, not so much, history-wise anyway) and gave a lot of proofs on how said crime might not have happened at all (therefore, an inconclusive statement), starting from Liu Shan's acceptance of Xiahou Ba due to 'blood relations' and how they didn't have proper history department back in the days. After getting a report of Xingcai being harassed by people who were convinced that Zhang Fei's negatives were the truth, Zhang Fei decided to teach these group of people a lesson... and heck, even Xiahou Yuan, who was expected to be 'pissed off' about it, gave him support.
    • Or, it could've been that via how Xingcai acts, Xiahou Yuan's niece may have actually ended up making Zhang Fei a bit henpecked behind the scenes if Xingcai did indeed pick it up from her mother...
  • Takes pride in his snake lance, said to be over 13 feet long. There's a myth that he defeated a magical snake to obtain it. A few of his other stronger snake lances are the "Crushing Army", "Crushing Evil" and "Crushing Kingdom" Snake Lances. All of these seem to stem from the first one being named after one of the other names of the Alkaid star, so some Gods who are well-versed in astrology compare the incarnation of Zhang Fei before them to be not unlike the very northwestern star that brings bad luck and crushing defeat upon all armies, hunters and fighters alike. His pointy sticks' reputation is such that he has gotten the attention of fellow pointy stick-wielder Cu Chulainn, who is eager to see who is the mightiest of the two. Zhang Fei is as hot-blooded and eager to fight as Chulainn, so the two get along well despite this rivalry.

  • In the land of Berk, dragons attack the village on a regular basis and living there isn’t all that pleasant as a result. Hiccup is the son of chieftain Stoick the Vast and designs a number of contraptions to make up for his lack of direct battle prowess. One day, he manages to come across a Night Fury, a rare dragon of which little is known about, names him Toothless and from there, develops a friendship with it. The pair endure many hardships even after getting the rest of Berk to befriend dragons and those challenges only increased after Hiccup becomes chieftain after Stoick dies protecting him. In the end, it became clear that it’s difficult for dragons and humans to peacefully coexist, but Hiccup remains optimistic that said coexistence will be fully realized, even if it will take plenty of time and effort for it to be achieved.
  • As Hiccup and Toothless continued to chart new places they discovered, the duo managed to reach what appeared to be some strange cloud formations amidst some dark skies. As they journeyed further into unknown territory, the two discovered a large world that was unlike anything they’ve seen thus far. What got their attention was that this Pantheon (as it was referred to by some denizens of that place) was home to a wide assortment of dragons that Hiccup and Toothless haven’t learned of yet, among other prominent figures in the Pantheon tied to dragons for better or worse. For the duo, the Pantheon was a highly intriguing place where plenty of adventures and discoveries await.
  • While the duo expected the Pantheon to have a lot of different dragons, they didn’t expect just how much wider and varied the dragons there are even compared to what they already discovered. Not only did that include more straightforward dragons in terms of abilities and singular dragons who existed as a companion for those in adventures that aren’t related to dragons otherwise, but it also included dragons who are much more powerful than even the most dangerous dragons that Hiccup and Toothless faced back then. The duo took a liking towards the many benevolent dragons, though they are more than aware of the fact that there are just as many malevolent dragons in the Pantheon and that it’s unlikely, if not outright impossible, for those evil dragons to be tamed. In any case, Hiccup has opted to chronicle the dragons present in the Pantheon and his knowledge of them has only grown further as a result.
    • One notable dragon that Hiccup and Toothless became fast friends with was Spyro. Despite his small size, Spyro was notable for acting without a human companion by his side (though he does have some other creatures to help him out) and has been able to take out plenty of big threats to his worlds. The purple dragon quickly took a liking to Hiccup and Toothless and has accompanied them on numerous adventures. As a result, the two have come to understand Spyro’s numerous enemies, all of whom have a notable hatred of dragons with much of the hatred going towards The Sorceress (whose scheme of using unhatched dragon eggs to gain immortality for herself disgusted Hiccup and Toothless) and Malefor (considered to be Spyro’s biggest enemy literally and figuratively). Hiccup and Toothless had a lot more to look out for when Spyro said that there are a lot more dragons in the Pantheon with power comparable to or even stronger than that of Malefor and within that subset, a handful of them have similar ambitions as that of The Dark Master.
    • Speaking of powerful dragons, some of them fall into its own classification known as Elder Dragons. While some of them don’t resemble dragons in a traditional sense, their power and variety makes them intriguing subjects for Hiccup to document and he learned that there were some Monster Hunters tasked with taking down these Elder Dragons should those monsters get out of control. Of the Elder Dragons, the Fatalis was one that Hiccup and Toothless have come to fear given how it hates practically everything not related to itself and would want nothing more than to annihilate whatever is in its way. Given the danger that Fatalis poses to the Pantheon and how other Elder Dragons are just as volatile if not to the same level as that of Fatalis, Hiccup can understand why the Monster Hunters would be tasked to go take it and other Elder Dragons down
  • Despite not being considered fully draconic, Godzilla was something that both Hiccup and Toothless were impressed by while also acknowledging that Godzilla can be unpredictable in terms of character at times. In some ways, Toothless did have some similarities with the kaiju, mainly regarding the leadership of other monsters. More specifically, Godzilla is known as the King of the Monsters and as the Alpha, he is able to rule over other monsters such as Rodan, though not after a brutal battle against King Ghidorah for the role of the Alpha. In Toothless’ case, he became the Alpha dragon after taking on Drago’s Bewilderbeast and the other dragons view the Alpha as their leader. Knowing the fact that Ghidorah, a sadistic space dragon, was able to hijack the role of Alpha monster for itself and could potentially force similarly powerful creatures under its control in the Pantheon, Hiccup and Toothless saw it as a major threat as far as dragons are concerned.
  • One particular type of dragon that managed to surprise both Hiccup and Toothless were humans that are able to transform into those creatures and act on their own accord. It was one thing for humans to control dragons for better or worse, but humans literally being able to have draconic powers was something that the pair looked further into. As was the case for straightforward dragons, there were those who used their powers for either good or evil. Among the human-dragon hybrids the pair befriended were Corrin and Issei Hyoudou for differing reasons. The idea of having a dragon spirit inside a device that would allow its user to access draconic powers was just as weird as having a user who is determined in having a harem, but Issei is a good person at heart who cares greatly about his friends. As for Corrin, Hiccup saw a bit of himself in them, mainly how they managed to get a kingdom together, gain leadership of such, and fight hard battles for the safety of their people.
    • As for the deities who use their ability to shift between human and dragon forms for evil, it became clear that they would present themselves to be a challenge for Hiccup and Toothless, with Acnologia among the duo’s biggest threats both related to humankind and dragonkind. Formerly a human who lost everything he cared about to dragons, Acnologia sought to destroy dragons in revenge, but in the process, not only became an enemy to dragonkind, but renounced his humanity in the process, becoming a powerful and nigh-unstoppable monster as a result. Even if Hiccup can understand Acnologia’s past, it doesn’t change the fact that this human-dragon hybrid cannot be reasoned with at all and in a way, made Acnologia not that different from Drago Bludvist, one of Hiccup’s adversaries who only sought to gain power for himself via hypocritical means after dragons destroyed everything he cared about.
  • It didn’t take that long for Hiccup and Toothless to come across other dragon-riders in the Pantheon and the pair managed to find plenty of distinct quirks among them. The fact that some of those duos such as Arokh & Rynn have their souls connected to each other in order to use their strengths was something unusual to Hiccup and Toothless seeing as how trust played a role in getting the people of Berk to become dragon riders, but the duo quickly struck up a friendship with Arokh & Rynn after seeing them in action. It was through these two that Hiccup learned of a couple other dragon riders known as Caim and Zero that came from a darker world who had more unscrupulous personalities compared to Rynn. He was a bit relieved to learn that the dragons they had with them had a stronger moral standing and even served to try and make sure their masters didn’t go too far and lose what sanity they had left. While Hiccup is positive that dragons can be a positive influence on people, he’s aware that there are risks involved and that it might require more than that for the more unstable people to come to their senses.
    • On the subject of those who use dragons, The Nameless King was someone who Hiccup was more than curious about. Like Hiccup, The Nameless King was part of a warrior race with his father who fought against dragons and took an interest in these creatures, with The Nameless King having his own faithful companion through a stormdrake known as The King of the Storm. Both Hiccup and The Nameless King were in conflict with their respective fathers over the dragons, but whereas Hiccup and Stoick eventually reconciled (and Hiccup later succeeding leadership role from him), such a thing didn’t happen between The Nameless King and Gywn and The Nameless King was banished from history. Hiccup is very sympathetic towards what The Nameless King had to go through and the latter has taken a liking towards the fact that someone as young as Hiccup is able to lead his people and use dragons effectively.
  • With monikers such as Mother of Dragons and her regal demeanor, Hiccup originally thought that Daenerys Targaryen would have made for a great alliance given the dragons at her side and what dealt with. As he learned further about her, Hiccup was surprised at some of her final actions and that admiration turned to disappointment upon finding out what she did at King’s Landing. While Dany did have her reasons on why she ended up doing that, Hiccup saw it as a sign that he could be at danger at becoming like her when it comes to falling towards extreme actions. In spite of some failed attempts by Dany to try and get Hiccup on her side for having an affinity towards dragons, Hiccup made it a point to try and avoid the same mistakes she’s made to prevent a similar fall from grace from happening.
  • The Warhammer world was a setting that unnerved Hiccup and Toothless for a bit considering just how violent and unforgiving that place is for anyone who isn’t prepared for it. The duo did look a bit further into the place after learning that some of that world’s races (specifically some of the elves) have taken to using dragons as a battle mount and a comrade. Tyrion & Teclis, who are among those who successfully used tamed dragons and used them for combat, have taken a strong liking towards Hiccup and Toothless for how the latter duo was able to lead a village and be able to have dragons coexist with Hiccup’s people, even if it had challenges and the Berkians and their dragons had to part ways due to said challenges. While Hiccup and Toothless were able to strike a friendly dynamic with Tyrion & Teclis, the same can’t be said of Malekith, a Dark Elf who has a major enemy of the two High Elves. Like those twins, Malekith has his own dragon that he uses for battle, but he (and the rest of the Dark Elves by extension) have far more darker methods at hand for using their dragons, with Black Magic and direct abuse being involved. The Dark Elves’ treatment of dragons sickened Hiccup and Toothless, but the pair was surprised to learn that there were far worse individuals in the Warhammer world and that Malekith had some redeeming traits. Malekith had some admiration towards Hiccup seeing as how not only was he able to put dragons to effective use, but that he gained the approval of his father (something that Malekith was unable to accomplish) and able to lead the people of Berk after Stoick’s death. Even if Hiccup can acknowledge Malekith’s better traits, the Dark Elf’s ambitions was something he and Toothless couldn’t accept and the two have taken to opposing him, with the High Elf twins’ help. Knowing of Hiccup and Toothless’ alliance with Tyrion & Teclis, Malekith was merely looking forward to seeing how stronger Hiccup and Toothless would be able to get with Tyrion & Teclis’ influence and is willing to see how someone like Hiccup will be able to fare against a much more powerful individual capable of using dragons.
  • In stark contrast to the war-torn world that Warhammer is known for, Hiccup and Toothless had a much easier time with the Pokemon world given its vibrant and diverse setting. Not only were there dragon-type Pokemon present, but interspecies friendship between Pokemon in general and their trainers was quite prominent and some of the Legendary Pokemon (some of the most powerful Pokemon of that setting) happened to be dragons or at least have draconic traits. It didn’t take that long for Ash Ketchum (who used dragon-type Pokemon at different points in his journeys) and Pikachu to strike up a friendship with Hiccup and Toothless for being able to maintain a strong dynamic with their companions. Given how Hiccup and the other Berkians had to say goodbye to their dragons because of the hardships that came with protecting them, Ash knows what it’s like to bid farewell to some trusted companions whenever he reaches the end of certain adventures. Hiccup can also relate to Ash and his friends having to deal with people trying to take the Pokemon for themselves, with him and Toothless making sure that Hunter J, one of Ash’s more dangerous adversaries, doesn’t come close to any friendly dragon.
  • Miraak was someone who managed to earn the contempt of both Hiccup and Toothless. In a bid to gain more power for himself, Miraak attempted to set up a rebellion against dragonkind, had the ability to control dragons via Bend Will, and even had a cult who fully supported him. While none of his attempts to conquer the world worked out, it became clear to Hiccup and Toothless that Miraak posed a significant threat to dragonkind to a much greater extent than any foe they had faced prior. As it turned out, Miraak was known as The First Dragonborn, a being who is responsible for slaying dragons and from there, Hiccup and Toothless learned of another Dragonborn known as the Dovahkiin. The Dovahkiin had some degree of moral ambiguity, but he did take action against Miraak among various other threats and there was the fact that he had a friendship of sorts with Paathurnax, a dragon who turned against the malevolent and powerful Alduin (who the Dovahkiin fought against). Hiccup came to a kind of understanding that there was a necessity to the Dovahkiin’s actions given how certain dragons like Alduin are too dangerous to keep alive.
  • While Hiccup can at least accept why Dovahkiin and the Monster Hunters hunt down dragons when those creatures end up being extreme threats that can’t be tamed, he isn’t as forgiving to those who hunt dragons for their own gain. Among the more antagonistic dragon hunters who Hiccup and Toothless have gotten into conflict with were Ornstein and Smough. While Ornstein’s hatred of dragons is far more obvious than that of Smough’s, the two have sworn loyalty to Gwyn (who already had a bad history with dragons to begin with) and are merciless against those who fight them. Given Hiccup’s connection with the Nameless King, Ornstein believes that the young dragon rider could play a role in reuniting with his former teacher, though Hiccup isn’t sure if he can trust him, especially since Toothless is very much a target of the two knights.
  • Not only were there the wide variety of dragons that Hiccup and Toothless learned about in the Pantheon, but there were a few vikings who Hiccup managed to befriend after getting to know them better. While the turmoil that Rook and Alette went through was different compared to Hiccup’s, he can very much understand the pain they went through to protect their people, especially since Hiccup became chieftain of his people after Stoick’s sacrifice. The two have taken a liking to Hiccup’s leadership and determination while showing some curiosity about the dragons that Hiccup has learned about ever since he befriended Toothless. The Lost Vikings were greatly impressed with Hiccup’s skill and knowledge when it comes to dragons and in turn, Hiccup and Toothless are willing to provide aid in the trio’s adventures.
  • In addition to Hiccup’s fascination with dragons and willingness to get them to be accepted as companions for humans, one of Hiccup’s challenges was to earn the approval of his father and while that was accomplished, that was followed by having to become a good leader of Berk after Stoick’s death. One deity who went through a similar path of wanting his father’s respect (though to a different extent) and taking over leadership duties after said father’s death was Simba. One additional common link they had was confronting a power-hungry individual who murdered their fathers to ensure the survival of their respective lands and cement their position as leaders of said lands. In a way, Hiccup sees what Scar did to the Pride Lands as something that could have happened had Drago successfully overrun Berk. All told, Simba and Hiccup have gotten along with each other very well, with Simba being intrigued with Toothless as well given how the latter also had to become an Alpha Dragon after the previous one was killed and usurped by Drago’s Bewilderbeast.
  • Despite the historical animosity that was present between Vikings and Scots, Hiccup and Merida both managed to get along with each other rather well. Much of their friendship seems to stem from how they were able to deal with hardships related to their parents, improve their relationship with them and in turn, lead to greater change across the world they lived in. While Merida was able to mend her relationship with her mother and get a brighter future for her people after some struggles, Hiccup faced greater challenges after getting the approval of Stoick, chiefly among them having to be an effective leader of Berk after his father’s death and coming to terms with the fact that human-dragon coexistence was very risky for everyone involved. Merida still commended Hiccup for doing what he can to ensure what is best for both humans and dragons.
  • Although Gentaro Kisaragi isn’t really tied to dragons a whole lot, he is still a fan of how Hiccup was able to forge a friendship with Toothless, who was part of a species of dragons considered very dangerous, and in turn, was able to make friendships between the Berkians and dragons a reality. While Hiccup did appreciate the compliments, he did point out that trying to keep said friendships in the face of those that threatened it was a challenge and he had to make a difficult choice for the sake of his people. Hiccup did admit that Gentaro had it easier when it came to believing in friendship, but the Kamen Rider has been encouraging of Hiccup to continue building on the friendship between humans and dragons that began in Berk.

    J.D. and Turk
Dr. John Michael "J.D." Dorian and Dr. Christopher Duncan Turk, Co-Gods of Life-Long Friendship
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jd_turk.jpg
  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: An I.D. tag
  • Theme Music: Guy Love
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolios: Can sense hookups, Sensitive Guy and Manly Man
  • Domains: Friendship, Chaos, Good, Healing, Community
  • Followers: The Kratt Brothers, Harold and Kumar, Karen and Gretchen
  • Heralds:
    • For J.D.: Dr. Elliot Reid and Sam Perry Gilligan Dorian, his wife and son from a previous relationship.
    • For Turk: Nurse Carla Espinosa and Isabella "Izzy" Turk, his wife and daughter.
  • Allies: All good-aligned deities in the House of Friendship and Camaraderie, the subhouse of Couples Archetypes and Couples Relationships, Dr. Perry Cox, Mike and Sulley, Jak and Daxter, Abed Nadir, George and Harold, All heroic My Little Pony deities, Madeline, Amélie Poulain, Dr. McCoy, Spock
  • Opposes: Felix, Akechi Mitsuhide, Penelope Mouse
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: The Janitor
  • Odd Friendship: Dr. Gregory House
  • For such a prestigious title, this particular temple has had a tumultuous past. Originally given to Jak and Daxter, it was ravaged. The ruin grounds were transferred to Mike and Sulley and for a time things were peaceful. Eventually, the two monsters decided to abdicate the role, seeking a couple that was defined by their friendship. It took the two several weeks, but they eventually decided to give the role to a couple of dormant gods. J.D and Turk had a brief tenure in the Pantheon before getting kicked out for the lack of a suitable title. The only thing that kept them together was their friendship, a bond so strong that Mike and Sulley couldn't find any better alternatives to give to. Thus marks their return to the Pantheon.
    • Their return to the House of Health and Diseases was greeted with mixed reception. Sure there were no doubt to be great doctors, but their antics can get on some of their nerves. Dr. Cox promised to take on the role of reigning them in.
    • To their surprise, they were greeted warmly... by Dr. House of all people. Long known for being a jerkish doctor, House has nevertheless grown fond of any older of Lifelong Friendships. Anyone that knows him can figure out it's due to his long lasting bromance with Dr. James Wilson. Even when J.D. and Turk refer it as the "ultimate bromance", House admits it with a smile. The trio were seen together for comfort upon the death of his dear friend.
  • Their arrival only spurred the Janitor to continue on with his pranks on the two. No one has figured out why the Janitor holds such an intense grudge on the doctors.
  • While not the most powerful deities in the House of Friendship, their temple is one of their most crucial as they represent the bond between two friends, an essential trait for partners. The amount of tribute they receive in the Pantheon would be countless, ranging from all over the alignment square.
  • Those in the House of Love were confused with the decision, with some thinking the two were more than just friends. Otherwise, they are whisked into the House to help determine whether a couple has actually hooked up. No one knows their methods of finding out.
  • The only person who initially objected to the choice was Abed, God of Savviness. He is one part of a well-known friendship with Troy Barnes. He eventually relented when he found out just how fun they were together.
  • The ponies made sure the couple received a warm reception once they entered the Pantheon. The doctors themselves were amazed to find a group that were so fond of friendship.
  • They don't have any ill will for the man, but they have no choice but to oppose Felix on principle, especially with the way he treats his friendships. J.D. and Turk have to constantly scan their followers to make sure there are no secret Felix clergy in their ranks.
    • They have also been wary of evil gods Penelope Mouse and Akechi Mitsuhide. The duo have been perpetrators of many a broken friendship.
  • Can see a lot of themselves in Harold and George, believing it to be a precursor for their friendship if they were childhood friends.
  • Madeline has officially picked them as her official doctors. No one has been as enjoyable to work with as the couple. They have been thourough in checking on her after Madeline's appendix surgery.
    • The same can be said with Amélie, especially when paired with J.D. Luckily Turk is usually around to bring them down to earth if things go to far. The rest of the House of Health & Diseases are just glad they finally got her to attend regular checkups. Their previous lineup didn't appeal to her.
  • They often get into philosophical debates with Spock and McCoy, with the doctor and the Vulcan siding with their like partners. Most of the time, J.D. and Turk hardly ever argue. The space officers see their friendship as hope that the two can work together without butting heads all the time.
  • They once auditioned for the Superhero Division, dressed as the dynamic duo of Batman and Robin. It's safe to say that they didn't last that long. While Bruce shook his head in embarrassment, Dick at least appreciated their effort and homage to their glory days.

    K.O.
K.O., God of Positive Friend Influences (Kaio Kincaid, Peanut, Brush-Head)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/okko.png
  • Lesser God in Pantheon terms, Level 4 in Lakewood Plaza terms as of "Let's Be Heroes!"; Intermediate or even Greater God in Pantheon terms, Level 100 in POW Card terms by the age of 35, as seen in "Thanks for Watching the Show".
  • Symbol: His very noticeable hairdo or his POW Card
  • Theme Music: Let's Watch the Show
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good to Neutral Good, Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Evil as T.K.O.
  • Portfolio: Keet, Blue Is Heroic, Adorkable, Good Feels Good, Heart Is an Awesome Power, Cheerful Child, Hero-Worshipper, Heroic Wannabe, Kid Hero, Momma's Boy, Future Badass, World's Strongest Man
  • Domains: Kindness, Heroism, Punching Evil
  • Heralds: Carol Kincaid (his mother), his fellow Lakewood Plaza heroes, especially his closest friends.
  • Allies: All good-hearted members of the House of Childhood and Adolescence and most of Heroism, Captain Planet, Kwame, Raven, Garnet, Ben Tennyson, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails
  • Enemies: All in the House of Villainy.
  • Respected by/Respects: All in the House of Heroism especially Superman and Saitama
  • Conflicted Opinion: Anakin Skywalker
  • Complicated Relationship: Professor Venomous (his father)
  • Ascended due to how he has encouraged many of his friends to overcome their insecurities and weaknesses, such as his friend Enid's trouble with putting up a facade and acting as if she doesn't care, or his friend Dendy's trouble emoting and empathizing; he had been surprised that he didn't go into the House of Heroes but did not voice any complaints. Plus, he's allowed to visit said House whenever he wants to get some sage advice and villain-fighting training.
    • Would've been placed lower if it weren't for the incredible powers displayed, including his minor usage of toonforce and ability to go beyond his dimension because of the revelation mentioned below.
    • He at first was worried that his ascension was some sort of villain abduction and went on the offensive; luckily, it took very little to talk him down.
  • It has been found that, upon feeling especially helpless, he will go into a more aggressive and more angsty form dubbed T.K.O.. While in the Pantheon, he is capable of willingly switching back between these forms, along with their combined form P.K.O.; anger and helplessness will still unlock this form without his will, though, so it is best to keep him a good distance away from particularly manipulative villains.
  • In a recent event, K.O. came to the somewhat world-shattering realization that his world isn't actually real. Luckily, it has not affected his mental attitude. It also made him sympathize with others who have had similar realizations, like Deadpool and Neo; although he doesn't approve of the former's methods of dealing with bad guys, he still appreciates being in the presence of such a successful hero.
    • In contrast, he was a bit put off at first by the latter's general demeanor but warmed up to him, finding him to be a great hero, and finding some similarities between how they both combat evil technology (with key differences).
  • On one occasion, has teamed up with Captain Planet, using Ma-Ti's Heart Ring, after he and the other Planeteers (apart from Kwame) split up and got real jobs. Because of this, he has become good friends with both the Captain and the original bearer of the Heart Ring, especially since he seems to appreciate the usefulness of this attribute and takes the environment very seriously.
  • Won the respect of every Pantheon member residing under the Cartoon Network banner after he, Garnet, Raven, and Ben Tennyson stopped the hero-hating villain Strike from turning every hero to stone, and gave CN City a makeover. He's managed to jog his temporary teammates' memories of their little escapade and now sees them quite often when not busy, although he makes sure to give the brooding magic user her space.
  • His temple is basically a copy of his workplace, Gar's Bodega. It serves as a convienence store and many heroes have found themselves there to talk with K.O. or hang out with one another.
  • Looks up to Saitama due to his origin story (a regular guy just wanting to be a hero and training to push his limits) reminding him of his own. He gave up trying to figure out how he's as strong as he is with the simple exercise routine he had, but still admires him. Ditto for Superman.
  • In an alternate reality, his life is simply a TV show that he is an actor in; when explained to him, it sounded pretty strange at first, although that was before he got acquainted with the idea of his world being fake. He got more comfortable when he encountered a wizard who specialized in alternate universe magic to help him understand that even if his world is fake, everything he does was meaningful.
  • Many speculate that his father might be Venomous, Shadowy Figure, or Laserblast (with who is who depending on the theory); he is unable to confirm any of these theories but they give him quite the panic attack no matter what option he goes with. Then the Big Reveal came...
  • If asked about whether he and Dendy are an item, he will get incredibly red and exclaim they're just good friends. It is highly amusing, and does nothing to decrease the rumors.
  • He was surprised to find out that Scooby and Shaggy have met Enid's old school friends in the past, but gets along with them and the rest of the gang well; he was quite intrigued by the fact that Shaggy was once turned into a werewolf since he had a similar experience (and some would say he's still going through that, depending on what you believe), and finds the idea of uncovering mysteries very heroic.
  • Has a playful rivalry with Atsuko Kagari due to their respective major schools competing against each other in Mega Football, with his having won against Luna Nova Magical Academy. Luckily for everyone, it is all in jest; they get along quite well, and will often give each other demonstrations of their powers.
  • Gets along quite well with most children in the Pantheon, especially others with heroic goals like his, like Frisk, Steven, and Finn. Although they all differ in ideas of what the best ways to combat evil, it doesn't create any rifts between them.
  • For some reason, Dexter reminds him a bit of his friend Dendy, although he's not as easy to get along with as Dendy due to his larger ego.
  • He has noticed other members of the pantheon to sound similar to friends he knows; for instance, he's recognized Enid's voice in Tiny Tina, Cassie Cage, and Sasha Blouse, and Lord Boxman in a lot of Disney characters. It was an unfortunate predicament to have one of the few children he doesn't feel safe around sound vaguely similar to one of his friends, but he was amused thinking about the fact that so many cute characters shared a voice with such a grumpy villain.
  • Gets along great with Mario and Luigi for their love for spaghetti that he shares, their heroic tendencies, and the fact that they can get along so well with their arch-enemies (something he admires).
  • It has been noticed that he has odd ways of saying certain words, such as saying 'sorey' instead of sorry, or 'videos game' instead of 'video games.' When asked about this, he seemed confused, stating that's just how it's said, so it's best not to press further.
  • Recently learned about the identity of his father being the famous hero Laserblast. And then he was absolutely stunned into silence to learn that his dad became the evil Professor Venomous. Despite initial doubts, K.O. states that he's sticking on the path of being a hero, but he's weirded out by Anakin Skywalker and steers clear of him for the time being. This lead him to a friendship with Luke Skywalker though.
    • Then it turns out that Shadowy Figure is Venomous, or rather, his darker side, much like TKO was to KO. Shadowy Figure actually kept this a secret from Venomous and was only found out because of Fink.
  • When pissed off, K.O is capable of becoming T.K.O but there is a risk of T.K.O. coming loose. K.O. has made multiple attempts to reign him in, but he realized that it's not possible and thus has locked T.K.O. into his subconscious.
  • Various heroes, and many Dragonball gods, were surprised that he used his wish from the President of the Universe to have everyone (villains included) to live their lives to the fullest. This act of kindness has made him similar to that of Madoka Kaname and her Selfless Wish to free magical girls from the curse of being witches.
  • Additionally, the heroes cheered in awe and the villains shook with dread at his series finale, with the reveal that he actually achieves Level 100 and thus the strongest hero of his world in his mid 30s. Additionally, he now runs Gar's Bodega.
  • His friendship with Steven Universe made him learn of Steven's group of friends known as the Avatars of Friendship that consists of the Kenyan Street Fighter Elena, Kamen Rider Gentaro Kisaragi, party pony Pinkie Pie, hugging wrestler Bayley and the macaron loving Pokémon Victini. All of them showered him with a party, handshake and so much more and they find him wanting to make others feel happy very heartwarming. It was a good timing that he befriended them, as Bayley turning heel meant that they were in need of cheering up. Until Bayley returns to her hugging self, K.O has become her replacement as The Heart and the group has been nothing but grateful for the change.
    • Bayley was not happy with being 'replaced' by K.O. and stated that the Avatars of Friendship didn't truly care for her if they already had him take over her spot. K.O. went to her and explained that wasn't the case, but it fell on deaf ears.

Tohru
  • Demigods (Jade is a Lesser Goddess as "The Amazing T-Girl" and borderline Intermediate Goddess as "Queen of the Shadowkhan")
  • Symbol: Uncle's Antique Shop
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (Jade) and Neutral Good (Tohru, originally Neutral Evil as part of the Dark Hand)
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains:
    • Both: Combat, Adventure, Good, Friendship
    • Jade: Recklessness, Sleuthing
    • Tohru: Magic, Protection
  • Heralds: the J-Team (Captain Augustus Black, El Toro Fuerte, Paco and Viper), Scruffy (Jade's pet dog), Mama Tohru (Tohru's mother).
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Lex Luthor, Ghestis Harmonia, Relius Clover, all gods in the House of Villainy, Hatred and Magic (the Evil ones at least), Trollkaiger, evil gods in the House of Crime, Majora's Mask.
  • On good terms with: The Enforcers
  • Friendships can happen with all types of people no matter their age, race or economic status. Jade and Tohru's story is the first one. But it wasn't always like that. Jade had just arrived in San Francisco to stay with her uncle Jackie and an accident at a restaurant had her accidentally swallow the Rooster Talisman. Tohru was part of the Dark Hand and tried to cut Jade open like a fish for said Talisman. Their friendship wasn't cemented until the Pan-khu box incidents, when Jade realized (After a date with a boy who was really the Sky Demon went fowl, long story), having Tohru listen to her troubles made her realize that two had a close bond. Thus the two have become inseperable.
    • Jackie Chan was in a panic when he heard that his niece made it to the Pantheon alone. He rushed towards the gates to tell her to stay away...only to find too late that she and Tohru were now officially gods. Jackie just stood there for a moment to catch his breath...and fainted.
    • Both of them look at Lex funny due to him looking, and sounding, similar to their friend Captain Black. Lex makes no comment on this. They also had to double take on Sun Wukong due to them encountering a demonic puppet form of the Monkey King many times. Fortunately, this Monkey King is more benevolent and hops in from time to time to say hello.
    • The two were amused to find their enemies, The Enforcers, in the Pantheon. They don't have a lot of antagonism as they do now as the Enforcers are trying to leave their life of crime for good.
    • Due to the Tarakundo incident, Jade and Tohru have a dislike for evil masks, especially Majora's Mask since it's much worse than putting on an Oni Mask.
  • Exclusive to Jade:
    • Jade has been trying her best to create the "Pantheon J-Team", much to Jackie's chagrin. Many of the gods humor her in this regard. Jackie has also had to pull Jade away from all Crime goddesses not named Vi (especialy Jinx) due to how dangerous they can be. At the very least, she found El Toro Fuerte as the Follower of Rey Mysterio and she's amazed that, despite Rey's height, he's been crowned world champion in The WWE Universe.
    • No matter how many times someone tells her to just stay where she's at, Jade will always find a way to into the action. It's gotten to the point that people just give up on it.
    • Was slightly worried upon seeing Quetzalcoatl in the Pantheon, since the last time they encountered, the Aztec god mistook her as a literal goddess. Thankfully, this Quetzalcoatl didn't make that mistake, but she's still keeping an eye on him/her.
    • May or may not be The Chosen One by a group of monks, due to her skillfully using the previous chosen's cane to protect Tohru. The House of Prophecy aren't revealing that any time soon.
    • When she absorbs all Twelve Talismans, she becomes the "Amazing T-Girl". To activate ten of the talismans, she has to flex her fingers. To activate Dragon, all she has to do is blow a raspberry.
    • At one point, she was asked by Jinx if she was interested in becoming Queen of the Shadowkhan again. Jade took one look at her and said, "Tempting. Very, very tempting... But no."
    • Jade's herald is her pet dog, Scruffy, who was once the Noble Vessel of the Dog Talisman. She takes him on walks through the Canine Sub-House from time to time.
  • Exclusive to Tohru:
    • There was slight confusion with Tohru seeing that he shared the same name as a goddess in the House of Shape. Tohru Honda got along quite well with this Tohru seeing as they had many similarities (having to deal with things related to the Eastern Zodiac being the prominent one)
    • Tohru once ran afoul with one Genta Umemori due to the fact that Genta is a sushi chef and Tohru doesn't like fish. Genta would've been offended by it, but seeing that Tohru is a giant, he relented and has started serving vegetarian sushi on the side.
      • That dislike of fish was also the reason he had to decline King Dedede's Gourmet Race, despite his appetite.
    • Tohru spends lots of time in the Houses of Knowledge and Magic to continue his studies on being a Chi Wizard. Jade, meanwhile, can be seen in the Houses of Combat and Travel always looking for adventures and fighting (much to Jackie's chagrin). Unfortunately, Jade can also be seen in the House of Magic, but even she knows better than to mess with Bernkastel.
    • If there is one thing that Tohru hates, it's stairs. No, it's not the climbing that troubles him, it's him tumbling down that he dislikes. He's made friends with Po in that regard. (That and Po is known to be an expert in using Chi in his world).
    • Many gods were confused as to Tohru's reason to make a Heel–Face Turn ("I heard it's Donut Day on Tuesdays") but it was also probably how he was thrown out of a skyscraper by a talisman fueled Shendu that made him realize that it was time to quit. Needless to say, he's glad that Shendu is locked away in the Treasury, never to reawaken.
    • Has struck a friendship with Edmund Honda — E. Honda was amazed at how Tohru fought a sumo wrestler three times his size and won, stunning everyone in the process.
    • Tohru is actually descended from a line of samurai so, that little hiccup with Genta Umemori aside, he's friendly with various good samurai. This means he's become close to the Shikengers.
    • Every now and then, a small woman can be seen in the temple — said woman happens to be his mom. Don't let her size fool her; she can kick just as much ass as her son, and Tohru can become even more aggressive if anything should happen to her.
    • Once had to sub for Santa. It didn't go well, seeing as was only able to visit three houses within one night. However, he's willing to act as Santa for Christmas parties.

    Jay and Silent Bob
Jay and Silent Bob, Divine Catch-Phrase Spouting Duo (Bluntman and Chronic | Bob: Lunchbox)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/silent-bob_3646.jpg
From right to left: Jay and Silent Bob

  • Symbol: A marijuana leaf
  • Theme Music: Jay's Theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolios: Heterosexual Life-Partners, Those Two Stoners, Anti-Hero, High-School Rejects, Fat and Skinny
  • Domains: Drugs, Chaos, Friendship, Silence (Silent Bob)
  • Allies: Bill and Ted, Beavis and Butthead, Jeffrey Lebowski/The Dude, Abed Nadir, all Star Wars deities
  • Rivals: Walter White
  • Enemies: Pinhead, Omar Little, Satan (Castlevania), All Lord of the Rings deities.
  • Odd Friendship: God (God, the Devil and Bob)
  • While they enjoyed their position as High Priest to JD and Turk, they felt it wasn't enough. They appreciated the bond the two shared, but it felt tame compared to what they are used to. The God of Life-Long Partners decided to put them through a trial. They are to place a nickname on every temple in the House of Friendship. It only took 15 minutes. With those terms satisfied, they agreed to give them a spot in the Pantheon.
  • Jay... is not the brightest of bulbs. Most of his plans have either fallen flat on his face or succeeded out of sheer luck. Silent Bob on the other hand has some Hidden Depths. He doesn't speak much, but when he does it is often pretty damn good advice. Jay has had to keep people away from Bob just to stop bothering him with questions about their lives.
  • The very first gods that they visited were those from the Star Wars universe, Jedi and Sith alike. It has been their favorite franchise to watch of all time. While they declined to take sides on the Light Side vs the Dark Side, they did love to diss Lord of the Rings.
    • Even if their archnemesis looks a lot like Luke Skywalker, they still like his character as well as the avatar.
  • Speaking of which, Frodo and his allies disapproved of their ascension. While the friendhip between him and Sam has been seen in a better light, there are still those turned off by Jay's suggestion of something more happening between them.
  • Loves hanging out with Bill and Ted as they are the only ones who would let them use their time machines. As such, they defend detractors who don't think the teens should keep their time machine.
  • Thinks Beavis and Butthead are a hoot to hang out with. They also like that the Gods of Laughing at Innuendos have become their most consistent weed customers. Expect a lot of rough housing with these guys.
  • If there is one thing that these two strive for, it's to be as mellow as the Dude. Sure they need to do work in order to make money from time to time, but the Dude makes it look easy. And without a high school degree to boot. Jay has convinced Silent Bob to hang out with him to see if they could find out how he does it.
  • There have been rumors that Jay and Silent Bob almost had a runin with the Hellraisers led by Pinhead. It appeared that Pinhead had the perfect form of torture for them: a rehab clinic. Now that the two are in the Pantheon proper, he wants to put them in the same situation. This is one crossover neither stoner wants to be a part of.
  • There has been a feud of sorts with Walter White. One of the most prolific drug dealers in the Pantheon, Walter initially hoped to recruit the two as distributors of his stash. He was surprised when Jay through the deal at his face. They may love drugs in general, but they will not let the business go organized. The two have stated they support individual sellers and won't let Walter turn it into an empire.
  • They have also drawn the ire of Omar Little. Someone who is against the selling of drugs in general, he has drove them off every time he's spotted them. In response, they got training from Obi-Wan Kenobi in order to learn the Jedi Mind Trick. It didn't even make him flinch.
  • Much to everyone's surprise, Jay actually does have a girlfriend. Ironically named Justice, she is currently in jail serving a reduced sentence to get her boyfriend out of prison. Jay may be a pervert, but he has been adamant to wait out her sentence until she comes back. For that he earned respect from the House of Love.
  • Now that they have been deified, they hope to go practice superheroics as Bluntman and Chronic. They even brought along their own costumes. The House of Heroes implored the duo to leave the job to the experts. That hasn't stopped them from trying. They can be seen teaming up with Abed dressed up as Batman. His intricate knowledge of plot has helped them be more successful than one would think.
  • One would think that these two would be the last people to be friends with The Almighty himself, but he just so happens to owe a favor to them for preventing Armageddon. She even gave Jay a kiss, one that promptly caused him to faint (not even Justice was all too upset about it). They were disappointed that this one is a dude and has no intentions of becoming a girl.
    • Their slaughter of many Fallen Angels has caused them to endure the wrath of Satan, who was not pleased in their efforts. He knows he has the power to wipe them out, but is not strong enough to take on their vengeful benefactor. Satan would have to wait until he becomes an Overdeity.

  • Few in high school are notable as groups and cliques that most would recognize upon notice. The most notable, of course, is the "popular girls" clique, in which one particular student, Bianca Piper, happens to be a member, enjoying the moment of popularity and recognition that she can attain from it alongside her friends, Jess and Casey, whilst also having to write a paper on her school's upcoming Homecoming Day. Unbeknownst to her and to the amusement of her Childhood Friend, neighbor and popular school jock, Wesley Rush, Bianca is, in reality, the "Designated Ugly Fat Friend" or "DUFF" of the group, citing that while she isn't necessarily unattractive, she's essentially bait for unpopular students to talk to so that they could learn about her more attractive friends and slowly become acquainted with them through Bianca, much to her disbelief when Wesley tells her about this. After coming to grips with this and realizing that she is a DUFF, Bianca breaks her friendship with Jess and Casey and decides to collaborate with Wesley in that while he helps her with advice on trends and attractiveness and to become more confident and popular enough to attract her crush, Toby Tucker, she'll help Wesley to better his midterm grades so that he can maintain his football scholarship. Things initially started off well, until the two hit roadblocks, such as one of their improvement stints being caught on camera by a friend of Bianca's rival, Madison Morgan and her date with Toby fails as he was only "DUFFing" her to get close to Jess and Casey, on top of Bianca discovering her romantic affection with Wesley too late as he kisses Madison on her favorite place, her "Thinking Rock". She reunites with Jess and Casey who, alongside Bianca's mother, Dottie, help her create a dress for Homecoming Day and encourage her to reunite with Wesley. When the day arrives, Bianca presents her speech that everyone is a DUFF in some way and that they should try to be true to their identity. While Madison and Wesley become Prom Queen and Prom King respectively, the latter decides to kiss Bianca and affirm their relationship there. Having completed their high school goals, Bianca and Wesley decide to embark on their university of choices whilst staying close to maintain their relationship.
  • With an introspective take within a story told several times, Bianca and Wesley's tale proved to be quite memorable and heartwarming, provided that both of them were able to overcome their perspective peer-pressures and enroll themselves in newer pastures upon finishing off high school and promising to maintain their relationship despite their own differing priorities. On one particular day during their studies, Bianca recalled finding an envelope that was messaged to her as "The Representing DUFF", something that she chuckled at before reading. Learning about the Pantheon and how she and Wesley were to be invited as new representatives in a new world, she initially felt skeptical and told Wesley about it, which shocked her as he revealed that he, too, got a similar message about the Pantheon. They followed what looked to be coordinators to such once they had enough free time to do so, which led them to what was called the Elysium Academy, where they were perplexed by the amount of awe the place exuded. The two were worried about returning home, though those concerns were softened when it was told that their homeworld would be their domain and that they could go back there at any time. That, and they were told that they were to represent childhood friends that eventually become romantic, to Bianca and Wesley's surprise, if mainly because they don't see themselves as the prime example of such. Though they were open to the idea of exploring a new and unfamiliar place if it's proven to be welcoming for them.
  • The term DUFF actually wound up becoming a popular conversion in some parts of the Pantheon after Bianca and Wes's ascension, especially in the Houses of School, Physical Appearance, Communities and Solitude, and Popularity, where topics of appearances and friendship happen to be mainstay generally. Interestingly, despite the boom of the term, Bianca doesn't really seem to care about it much, personally thinking that having to involve herself too much would not allow her to really move on in her life. That and she really just thinks it's a label that doesn't help others from really expressing themselves. Wesley, however, does have some knowledge on why DUFF is a trending topic in the Pantheon as it allows others to be more aware of themselves physically and socially as well as some taking it as a note to challenge the popularity of others and their own. Bianca can at least concede that the second part is something she can agree on.
  • Bianca personally happens to have some unconventional interests compared to girls her age. Preferably, she prefers "old, obscure movies" and even has posters of them plastered on her room's walls. Obviously enough, she's even got to have some in her own space in the Pantheon and feels pretty proud of that. She was happy to learn that there was a Hall of Theatre and Spectacle, mainly because she felt that she could take the opportunity to explore and maybe even find something that isn't well-known in general for her to watch and appreciate in the future. The first few visits there were... uneventful, much to her annoyance, but she found some success later on by finding what she wanted. She takes Wes along on a number of occasions to have some time together, but sometimes he ends up dozing off, comically ruining much of their attempts.
  • Wesley's impressive physique made him a popular chick magnet (at least before he realized his affection for Bianca) and makes the most of it by enlisting himself in physical education activities, especially in football where he was able to score a scholarship. Unfortunately, he's not the most academically bright and his failing grade put his scholarship in jeopardy, which forced him into seeking Bianca's help. With that out of the way, the Houses of School and Sports were open to offering him an additional scholarship in participating in large-scaled football matches and events as a way to make his career and reputation more prestigious. While Bianca did warn him about a lot of risks that come with the offer, Wes accepted them, mainly to perform to his best. So far, he's learned to enjoy the latter House thanks to their encouragement and the opportunity to showcase more football players. Though Bianca and Wes do hope the latter isn't getting DUFFed, even if the former doesn't care much about the label.
  • Given her own experience with popularity and reputation, Bianca found herself getting along pretty well with Kayla Day once they met during a break in the House of School. Both have admitted to finding issues with how to showcase themselves and feeling like outcasts, though Kayla admitted that her own situation might be worse, given that, unlike Bianca who still had many friends, she didn't have much social support apart from her father, her friends were not as reliable, and she was socially inept, mostly resorting to social media and texting for much of her direct communication. Even so, Bianca respected Kayla's efforts in becoming more adamant about her choices and standing out for herself later on. Kayla herself felt like she might have been a DUFF, given that she was the unpopular one in her friend group, though Bianca told her to not think much about it and to be happy about the kind of person she is. That, and Bianca and Wes would try to give her some quality time if it makes Kayla happy.
    • They also got along pretty well with Marty McFly, seeing as, like Bianca, he seems to look pretty good and has a number of things going for him, including being friends with a time-traveler, having a girlfriend, and being skilled in playing guitar, and while academically decent, he's clumsy, is not on good terms with many of his teachers, and finds himself under an initially dysfunctional family. Marty discovered that Bianca and Marty came from the 2010s and was a bit disappointed, given that the version of 2015 that he went to was more futuristic than what occurred in reality. Wes feels skeptical on how despite someone who is probably cooler than him tends to hold low self-esteem in himself, given Marty's exploits in going to the past and future, though he does find having him for company to be pretty fun. Bianca jokes that Marty would probably need her mother's "self-helping wisdom", though it's best that this isn't pursued out of the fact that she feels it would make things awkward.
  • Having been childhood friends and developing romantic affections for one another is something that's been seen and told multiple times, with Bianca and Wes being aware of that even before being invited to the Pantheon. Of course, it didn't stop them from getting lumped in with other couples with precocious relationships like them, such as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, who were similarly friends with one another since childhood and had a similar dynamic as teenagers with Kim being a popular cheerleader and Ron being a geeky and socially meek boy, at least outside of their spy profession. Their demeanor and style felt similar to Bianca and Wes, who noticed those with Ron and Kim respectively, and Ron can be antsy about his confidence, Kim asserts that she's never given up on him as a person. It was inspiring enough for Bianca and Wes to reaffirm their own relationship and look out for one another, be it in their world, or in the Pantheon.
    • Kousei and Kaori were another pair of students who developed romantic affections with one another, though their complications had a more tragic outcome, which ended with the latter's death from osteosarcoma. It turned out that Kaori loved Kousei since primary school due to his pristine and eloquent skill in playing piano, though they would only properly meet in high school during spring, long after Kaori had been diagnosed. For Bianca and Wes, their story was filled with a lot of vitriol and melancholy, though Kaori insisted that it'd be better to simply live the moment and enjoy what they have. Much like Bianca and Wes, Kousei and Kaori also had differing romantic affections in Kousei's friends, Tsubaki and Watari respectively, though Kousei would only learn of Kaori's feelings for him sometime after her death. Even so, the two pairs remain good friends, with Bianca and Wes admitting to enjoying Kousai and Kaori's music as well as the latter two often joining in on the former two's spare time.
  • Both of them get along with their teachers in class, and with him heading off to college, Wes is relieved that he doesn't have to partake in doing heavy-handed subjects like Chemistry. Given their own stories and experiences, it didn't take long for Bianca and Wes to meet up with Eikichi Onizuka, a representing teacher who got himself into a lot of ruckuses, especially during his younger years as a high school delinquent, though, in spite of all this, decided to do whatever it takes to motivate and inspire others as a teacher, even if it meant using unscrupulous methods. Learning about stories involving DUFFs, Eikichi was thankful for Bianca and Wes's story and decided to try instilling others to believe in their own self-worth and to make the most of their efforts. And not only that, he'll even play football with Wes partly to make him a better player and partly out of being a friendly sport for him to compete against. While not too much in the field of electronics, Eikichi has made sure to let Bianca know that maybe too much social media can be dangerous, to which she replied with a deadpan "yeah, I know". Regardless, they remain on good terms with Eikichi being supportive of their relationship.
  • The idea of one being a DUFF was not too dissimilar to the predicament of Peter Pettigrew back when he was a member of the Marauders back when he was a Gryffindor student at Hogwarts. He himself was the most unpopular member of the group and was meek and reclusive, mainly relying on his friends, James, Sirius, and Remus, for company and protection and they didn't mind him generally… until Pettigrew decided to sell his group out, resulting in James being killed and Sirius falsely accused of Pettigrew's crimes and sentenced to Azkaban. What could have been a rather pitiful opinion is immediately turned into one of disgust. Even if Pettigrew was a DUFF, he still had friends, and to be as callous as betray them just to save his own skin was discomforting for Bianca to think about, not to mention he remained a DUFF to the Death Eaters, who simply found him annoying and contemptible themselves, essentially accomplishing nothing in accepting himself or proving himself to others. If anything, learning about Pettigrew only made Bianca appreciate Casey and Jess more, in addition to her and Wes reaching out to and befriending James, who wisened up to become a better person after his own troublesome days and told the two to be thankful for their friends as well as to be careful of who to befriend.
  • They're not obviously into the bullying clique for obvious reasons, and that's not getting into the one time Bianca was embarrassed by Madison when her friend caught footage of her playing around a mannequin, whom she envisioned as Toby, and posted it on YouTube out of petty humor. With that in mind, she and Wesley tend to avoid any contact with bullies like Biff Tannen and Gary Smith, who have proven themselves to be consistently vindictive and callous in their efforts to assert their bully status. While Biff is annoying and can be a threat, Bianca and Wes hate Gary more because of his inability to consider his actions, belittle 'anybody'', and then treat everybody as a DUFF and himself as a king in his school. Of course, Gary was open to insulting and mocking the pair for their past issues and insecurities, though at this point, nobody pays to give him any attention, considering his own popularity with nearly anyone near his age. On a silver lining though, the two did get along with Jimmy Hopkins, who oddly enough, started out as a DUFF for the bully clique in Bullworth Academy before working his way up to becoming more popular and respected and eventually defaming Gary for his petty actions. While abrasive, Jimmy is open to hanging out with Bianca and Wes, learning how to navigate and interact on social media from the former's guidance whilst also partaking in sports with the latter as a sign of showmanship.
