The Matrix Resurrections

• The Matrix Resurrections (aka The Great Trin Robbery):
  • The narrator describes Resurrections as Warner Bros. going so meta with characters complaining about making a forced follow-up to a trilogy, in a forced follow up, that Lana Wachowski is going Bullet Time over criticism. Complete with Neo dodging bullets labeled "Cash Grab", "Unnecessary", "You don't get it", and "WHY".
  • "You forgot how The Matrix ended." [ending clip from the first movie plays with Neo flying off-screen] "No, the other ones." [ending clip from Revolutions plays]
  • "Why do all my Trinitys look like Harry Knowles?"
  • The Actor Allusion to Keanu Reeves' Thomas Anderson becoming a game designer, with the narrator stating that he should have taken over the development of Cyberpunk 2077.
  • They note that Jessica Henwick's character is Warner Bros.'s next attempt in Space Jamming their IP's everywhere.
    Bugs: "My name is Bugs. As in... Bunny. / What's up, doc?"

  • They criticize the movie for replacing the well-choreographed fight scenes of the past three films with the rapid-fire cuts that have become film standard in the last decade, augmented by Special Effect Failure despite literally having Keanu Reeves and the John Wick director in the film.
  • Starring: It's About Ethics in Gaming Symbolism (Neo), Deus Ex Mack-on-Her (Trinity), Yahya, I Know I'm Not Laurence Fishburne, But Give Me a Chance (Morpheus), The Defenders: Antivirus (Bugs), Dark Clippy (The Analyst), You No Weaving (Agent Smith), Whoa, Was That Christina Ricci?   • The Stinger has the narrator note that with Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris in the cast, it's only a matter of time before they make a Matrix stage production. He suggests including Kristin Chenoweth as the Oracle, the guy who played Shrek as the Architect, and Ben Platt as the "There is no spoon" kid, even adding that he's the perfect age.

Hawkeye

• Hawkeye (aka Ronin with the Homies)
  • "You've seen Clint Barton lose his mind to Loki's staff, lose his family to the Blip, and lose his best friend to the ground. Now get ready for a new adventure about the time he lost his hearing, lost some very important dry-cleaning, and lost all of his patience."
  • "[Kate Bishop]'s a milestone of representation, as the MCU's first hero who thinks Hawkeye is cool. This heir to the name is a clueless rich girl who's really into archery and branding."
  • "Kate should easily slide into the role [of Hawkeye] going forward. (montage of Kate sliding on various surfaces during fight scenes) Does she wax her pants? • The Legend of Vox Machina (aka D&Deez Nuts):
  • The narrator notes that since everyone in Vox Machina has a tragic past, that means Trinket the bear probably does, too. Come season 2, this suspicion is confirmed.
  • Matthew Mercer, the Dungeon Master of Critical Role, shows up near the end of the trailer, and straight-up engages the Epic Voice Guy in who can say "How do you wanna do this?" better to narrate the "Starring" section. Matt ends up winning, and proceeds to narrate.

  • The opening requests ask for The Batman (2022), only for the recording booth to break and start losing oxygen. With no oxygen, the narrator needs to do something dumber. Cue the script for Moonfall. All written in crayon.
  • The entire trailer is read like a caveman.
  • The Narrator mentioning how the AI assistants of the Advanced Ancient Humans turned evil, comparing it to Alexa.
    Narrator: Alexa, no! Stop!
    Alexa: Not today, meatbag.
