- Accidental Hero /Accidental Murder: When Yuriko is trying to pull Sunny out of a tree, the laws of physics kick in when Yuriko frees Sunny and Sunny is sent flying like a torpedo and slams into Eddy. Eddy is then launched into Ra's mouth as she was charging an attack, which makes them both poof into golden dust.
- And I Must Scream: The situation Redman trapped the non-contestant kaijus in: He kidnaps them, brings them to his planet, kills them, and then revives them. Repeat the last two steps ad nauseam.
- Answer Cut: After Sunny narrowly avoids getting killed by Pucci and watching him get killed by a Red Arrow, she wonders where Yuriko is. Cut to Yuriko getting railed by Velora.
- Aim for the Horn: While fighting the Ultimasaurus, Racheal leaps off Ira and delivers a haymaker to one of his horns, which shatters it.
- And This Is for...: In Racheal's speech to Redman just before the fight starts, she says that every attack landed isn't just payback for her friends, but for everyone else he's shamelessly killed and the monsters he’s turned into a personal punching bag.
- Ascended Extra: The Alien Zarab, one of the first monsters the contestants faced in the 14th episode, is now a proper contestant.
- Attack the Tail: While Barugon is biting into Kingstron, Bumblebee ends up running over his tail, which causes him to scream out in pain and let go of Kingstron.
- Atomic F-Bomb: Semi-Perfect Cell lets one out after missing Android 18 by a hair's inch on the fourth day.
- Author Appeal: Invoked; Every contestant for this month comes from a franchise that the author really likes.
- Avenging the Villain: Indirectly; In Racheal's speech to Redman, she states that every attack she lands isn't payback for her friends, but also everyone he's killed and the monsters he kills for sport, with several of those contestants he killed were villains.
- Ax-Crazy: Redman. It doesn't get more crazy than trapping a bunch of monsters on his planet which he then kills over and over again for his sick kicks.
- Back for the Dead: Semi-Perfect Cell, Pucci, and Kiryu are all revived for, and die again in, this episode.
- Badass Boast: Pucci delivers an admittedly well earned one after Semi-Perfect Cell doubts he'll be of any use in their introductions:
- Pucci: "I'd watch what you say. You are staring at the face of a man who will bestow upon all the true path to Heaven. I have no more secrets to hide, for I have proven I can make it to the top."
- Bathos: When Guldo's ride Ultraman Tiga gets eaten by a Cock Demon, Guldo nonchalantly says it sucks to be him and wonders where to find a decent space-soda.
- Berserk Button: Miles asking who brought the mutated possum causes Moxxie to pounce on him with a feral shriek.
- Animal abusers are a sore spot for Fluttershy, so when she hears of Redman killing the kaijus over and over again makes her want to choose a violent solution to the problem, one of the only times she decides this option.
- Beyond Redemption: Racheal repeatedly gives Redman chances to give up and walk away, but he repeatedly rejects the offer each time, even attempting to take control of all the monsters to sic on Racheal after she beats him. And when Ultraman Cosmos comes down, his Full Moon Flasher obliterates Redman due to how much hatred Redman has within him.
- Big Damn Heroes: Just as the Piranhaconda is about to lunge at The Scout, Minos knocks it out by ramming his body into it.
- When Gokinezula traps Racheal, Ira, Applejack, and Big Macintosh with his webbing, Fluttershy shows up to talk down the monster and frees our trapped heroes.
- On the fifth day, just as Redman is about to land a killing blow on Racheal, Minos grabs Redman's hand and crushes it, diverting Redman's attention onto him.
- Bigger Is Better in Bed: Subverted; When Moxxie and Minos compare dick sizes, he's proud of having been able to pleasure his wife Millie even if his is not as big as Minos'. He also outlasts Yuriko in their hours-long romp with his endurance.
- Big "NO!": Ra has one after the taste of Eddy flows through her body.
- Minos has one after seeing Miles get killed by a boulder.
- Blood from the Mouth: During Videl's fight with Redman, Redman kicks Videl in the chest hard enough to get her to cough out blood.
- Boom, Headshot!: Moxxie blows off the Alien Draculas' head to chunks in the Bloodbath.
- Juno gets her skull impaled onto a tree by one of Redman's arrows in chapter 3.
- Redman stabs Alien Icarus in the head with his knife in chapter 4.
- Fluttershy's head gets struck by Redman's Red Thunder attack while pushing Racheal out of the way.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Gumball finds himself stuck with a star-mouthed alien (Alien Zarab), a nude anthro shark (Velora), and a very perverted kitty thing (Heketa), as his teammates, he exclaims "I hate fanfics".
- After Pinkie Pie gets turned into giblets by an ankylosaurus' tail, her mouth says "Ah, phooey. See you next time!" before popping away.
- Broken Win/Loss Streak: Racheal not only breaks her losing streak by winning, but in the process also finally breaks the massive losing streak Las Lindas has suffered since the second episode.
- The Bus Came Back: In terms of contestants, Chi-Chi, Moxxie, Ira, Racheal Saleigh, Namah Calah, Kass, Applejack, and Spongebob Squarepants return from previous Arenas. Cell also returns, but now in his Semi-Perfect form.
- In terms non-contestants, The Scout, Miles Lionheart, Fluttershy, Minos, Randal Hawthorne, Diane Foxington, Juno, Eddy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Big Macintosh return after only being in the side stories while Gumball Watterson and the Alien Zarab return from their minor appearances in an Arena episode.
- Call-Back: When Semi-Perfect Cell finds Guldo, he finds it beneath him to bully him, but he's still a little salty about the mouse traps so he decides to give him a scare.
- Applejack demands to know where Big Macintosh has been after he left the barn.
- After Moxxie is flung from the beams of light, he wonders why every match he's in involves an explosion.
- Calling Your Attacks: Redman screams every action he’s about to perform while in a fight.
- Catch and Return: During the final fight between Racheal and Redman, Redman throws a Red Arrow at Racheal, which she catches and redirects it to where his feet are, which explodes and sends him flying.
- Caught with Your Pants Down: The second chapter ends with Guldo masturbating where Bumblebee was parked for the night. Spongebob also sees this and dies (somehow).
- While trying to lay low, Moxxie ends up walking onto Big Macintosh masturbating on the third day.
- Clothing Damage: As Yuriko is fighting Namah, Namah's whip rips off Yuriko's top, which exposes her breasts.
- Combination Attack: Ira, Racheal, Applejack, and Big Macintosh overwhelm the Ultimasaurus in the first day by a succession of blows from Big Macintosh rips out a chunk of earth and kicks it at the Ultimasaurus, with Ira then stabbing it in the side with his horns, Applejack slamming her hoof against his head, and Racheal delivering an uppercut to the dinosaur. Ira then kills him by stabbing him in the heart.
- Continuity Nod: When The Scout pulls out a journal containing Soldier's tips on how to survive an Arena, the most recent one reads 'Beware of Golden Aliens'.
- The advice Moxxie gives his team is "Watch your heads."
- Fluttershy’s appearance here has her wearing only a hospital gown, with some singed fur around her chest, still recovering from the events of Welcome to United Equestria.
- Curb Stomp Cushion: For most of the contestants that fight with Redman, while they aren't able to beat him, they are able to land a few hits on Redman before getting incapacitated or killed by him.
- Curse Cut Short: When Plooma uses his weight to pull Namah to the ground and begins rolling, she goes "Ah, shi-" before she's crushed by the monster.
- When Moxxie notices Black King's Magma Beam heading for him, he only gets out "MOTHERFU-" before being incinerated by it.
- Cuteness Proximity: In the Bloodbath, Pinkie Pie gets distracted by looking at Zaurs, finding it cute.
- Death by Irony: Redman, a very violet killer of kaiju, is finally defeated by the most peaceful Ultraman, Ultraman Cosmos.
- Death Is Cheap: Namah discusses with her team that dying doesn't matter that much in the Arena, which she explains after telling them not to break her record.
- Kass: "Record?"
Namah Calah: "To see if I can last longer before it's game over. Thing is, we don't really 'die'. We just get killed and maybe get sent back for more. Pisses me off, but at least I know time means nothing. We’re not missing anything back home."
- Defeat Equals Explosion: Redman finishes off Ira by tossing the dinosaur over the crater's edge, which causes Ira to explode.
- Deus ex Machina: Just as Redman takes control of the monsters and is about to use them to kill Racheal, Ultraman Cosmos suddendly shows up to save Racheal and the monsters and defeats Redman for good.
- Disproportionate Retribution: According to Mordecai, a dirty room and asymmetrical things are worthy enough of shooting someone in the head over.
- Do Not Go Gentle: As Racheal prepares to fight Redman one last time, she gives Redman a big speech about who she is and who she's fighting for, even as she admits she doubts Redman cares:
- Racheal Saleigh: "I was kinda like you right now. I had everything I could ask for. Born with a silver spoon in my mouth. But the more I think of it...if I never ran away...if I never did it for the sake of somebody who wasn’t even kin...I would have turned out rotten like you. And every decision I've made up to now...I don't regret a thing! I found a home! I found love! TWICE! And I've been put through this gauntlet so many times, it's not funny! You almost made me give up entirely. I'll give you that. But don't kid yourself. I remember why I fight again. Why I train. I don't just do it for the gains. I do it to protect the people I love. The people who've never given up on me! And I won't let their hope in me go to waste just because of you! Who am I?! I'm the cat who's about to kick you off your high horse! I'M RACHEAL! Every single attack I land on you isn't just payback for my friends and everybody else you’ve shamelessly killed...but for every monster you've turned into your punching bag because what? Funsies?"
Redman: [screams in rage] "REDDO FIGHT!"
Racheal: "Touched a nerve? Okay. Guess I overdid it. Let's go."
- The Dreaded: Redman to the kaijus on the planet, for repeatedly killing them, with most of the reactions to the contestants of the episode are either outright fear or hostility thinking they work for Redman.
- Dropped a Bridge on Him: Astrotrain and Thundercracker get destroyed by the beams of light, Mordecai gets burned alive by Earthtron, and Rodan gets a Red Arrow straight into his chest.
- The second chapter ends with Spongebob somehow dying from seeing Guldo masturbate. BRUH.
- Ear Ache: Applejack begins her Team Introduction by grabbing Big Macintosh demanding an explanation why he left the farm with no warning.
- Eaten Alive: Ultraman Tiga gets eaten by a Cock Demon, Randal by the Ultimasaurus, and Eddy gets launched into Ra's mouth in chapter 2.
- Kass witnesses the same happen to Barugon in chapter 3.
- Everyone Has Standards: While Velora prides herself on going around in the buff, she has a limit of doing it around kids. So when she finds herself in front of the minor Gumball, she covers herself the best she can with her tails and arms and lies that she got out of the shower when she was taken.
- Eye Scream: While fighting Redman in the Replenishment, one of Ira's eyes gets scarred.
- FacePalm: Videl's reaction to Chi-Chi asking Android 18 to split the wish 50/50.
- Flechette Storm: Redman employs this tactic in chapter 3, which results in the deaths of many kaijus and a few of the contestants.
- Foregone Conclusion: The first sentence of the third night straight up admits that no one dies, to show how peaceful this night is.
- Four Is Death: The Bloodbath ends with four casualties, as does the fourth chapter.
- The fourth chapter ends with two teams being completely wiped out.
- Game-Breaking Bug: A glitch causes Gumball to float to a force-field that the Land of Light had formed, which evaporates him.
- In the second night Kass is taken out by suddenly clipping through the floor and a glitch prevents Guldo from breathing after holding his breath, which causes him to inflate and pop like a balloon.
- Get It Over With: When Semi-Perfect Cell gets decapitated and realizes that he's going out the same way as Guldo, he tells Redman to just end his fucking life right now, which he does.
- Groin Attack: Unintended, but when Velora receives a golden codpiece from Grand Gosei for seducing an entire webcomic cast, it puts too much pressure on her genitals, giving her pain from the weight of it.
- Half the Man He Used to Be: Ira bites Heketa in half for trying to eat Racheal during her sex scene with her.
- Hermaphrodite: The megalodon Velora, who sports two dicks.
- Harmless Freezing: Spongebob Squarepants gets turned into an ice cube by Barugon's ice powers in their introductions. While he does thaw out, it takes him until the second chapter to do so.
- Here We Go Again!: Semi-Perfect Cell says this after sensing Android 18's energy signature.
- High-Voltage Death: During the second night Beacon grabs Applejack's head and fries it.
- During the Replenishment Redman's Red Thunder attack kills Yuriko and Fluttershy.
- Redman kills Rarity, Big Macintosh, and Velora with his Red Thunder attack in the last chapter.
- History Repeats: Spongebob Squarepants being a contestant in the second Arena of a season.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: As Beacon is frying Applejack, her spasms cause one of her hoofs to extend outward and punch a hole through his body, leading to his death as well.
- Impaled With Extremeprejudice: Redman kills many of the kaijus and contestants by throwing his Red Arrows into their bodies.
- Ira finishes off the Ultimasaurus by stabbing his horns through the Ultimasaurus' heart.
- In chapter 5, Guiron stabs through Kiryu's body, which causes it to blow up along with him.
- Impromptu Tracheotomy: Redman deals the decisive blow on Ira in their fight in the Replenishment by stabbing him in the throat.
- Improvised Weapon: Semi-Perfect Cell begins the Bloodbath by destroying the copy of HighlanderII he was holding, with its sheer awfulness causing fissures or beams of light to come out, which sends many contestants flying and kills Astrotrain and Thundercracker.
- I Need a Freaking Drink: Pucci seriously considers drinking booze after witnessing Bumblee reverts to his robot mode, and then later hard ale after Scout reads Soldier's (presumed) racist 'Beware of Golden Aliens' tip.
- I Want My Mommy!: Eddy's last word before being launched into Ra's mouth is him screaming "MOMMY!".
- Karmic Butt-Monkey: After Semi-Perfect Cell senses Android 18's energy signature, he spends the rest of the Arena trying to absorb her so he can become Perfect again. Unlike last time however, he is nowhere near as successful at this goal.
- Killed Mid-Sentence: After Eddy gets launched into Ra's mouth and feels the taste of idiot spread across her divine body, she screams that she's allergic to the taste, but poofs into golden dust before she can finish her sentence.
- After Miles and Minos narrowly avoid a rockslide, Miles begins talking about how it's a good thing he stuck with Minos, only for a boulder to crush him into paste.
- When Videl notices Android 18 approaching while she's fighting Redman, she boasts that things are going to get worse for him, only for Redman to kick her hard enough to send her to the ground and then kills her by stabbing her in the chest with one of his knives.
- During the Replenishment and Bumblebee fights Dorako, he says he's been itching for action this whole time, only to get stabbed by one of Redman's Red Knives.
- Killed Offscreen: Ira and Racheal end up fighting the Ultimasaurus in the first night, who is holding the dead body of Randal in his jaws.
- Barugon, whose death by getting eaten by a Cock Demon is told by Kass telling his team what he saw.
- When all the remaining contestants except for Alopex, Big Macintosh, and Semi-Perfect Cell are sent to the Replenishment, they find Redman standing on top of Naerie's broken body.
- Kill It with Fire: Mordecai gets killed when Earthtron fires a fireball at him when he tries to attack Zaurs.
- Kissing Cousins: Yuriko was beginning to feel the affects of the arena's aphrodisiacs and almost made a move on her cousin Sunny, then averted when a leaf (one of many) that Velora had scattered saying to look for her if they want a good time found her face.
- Last-Second Chance: After beating Redman, Racheal gives one final chance to give up and walk away. Redman responds to this offer by taking over all of the monsters' minds and attempts to have them destroy Racheal.
- Leave Him to Me!: At the end of the second day, Semi-Perfect Cell talks to himself about telling Redman to keep doing what he's doing. But then says not to destroy Android 18, stating "She's MINE.".
- Ludicrous Gibs: What Pinkie Pie gets turned into when an ankylosaurus' tail slams into her faster than she can react to it.
- Mistaken for Racist: After The Scout reads The Soldier's most recent tip of 'Beware of Golden Aliens', he assumes that Soldier is being xenophobic towards Mexicans.
- Murder-Suicide: Possibly; when Guiron stabs Kiryu which causes an explosion that takes them both out, the narration considers the possibility that Guiron did this after encountering Redman.
- Neck Snap: When Jirass' atomic breath hits one of Sep's wings, it sends her hurtling into a mountain, with Sep breaking her neck upon impact.
- Redman kills Minos on the fifth day by landing two Red Chops onto his neck.
- Never Got to Say Goodbye: More like "Never explained why I left", but Big Macintosh has regret for not being able to tell Applejack why he left to join Luna's rebellion before she's killed.
- N Ice Job Fixing It Villain: When Redman uses Red Massacre to forcibly take control of all the monsters, it destroys the barrier that kept anything from getting out. This leads to Ultraman Cosmos' immediate arrival who rescues Racheal and the monsters and makes quick work of Redman.
- No Body Left Behind: When Gumball floats up to the force-field, it fries him instantly.
- When Eddy gets launched into Ra’s mouth, nothing is left of Eddy while the only thing left of Ra is some golden dust.
- In the Replenishment, Moxxie gets incinerated by Black King's Magma Beam and Yuriko gets vaporized by Redman's Red Thunder attack.
- And in the last chapter nothing is left of Alopex and Alien Sasahiller when they explode, Rarity, Big Macintosh, and Velora are decimated by Redman's Red Thunder, and Redman gets reduced to nothingness from Ultraman Cosmos' Full Moon Flasher.
- Noodle Incident: Pinkie Pie's second guess on what Big Macintosh has been off doing is asking if he's crossdressing again.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After hearing what Redman is doing to the kaijus, Fluttershy willing chooses violence as a solution as animal abusers are a sore spot for her, and Big Macintosh gets a feeling of wanting to hear what it would sound like to snap his neck. Damn.
- Off with His Head!: In the final chapter, Redman decapitates Android 18 and Semi-Perfect Cell.
- Oh, Crap!: The Scout goes "Ah, crap!" when he realizes what the beams of light are about to do.
- Racheal goes "Ah, shit..." after witnessing the Ultimasaurus eat her friend Randal.
- When Redman unleashes his Red Fire attack, Semi-Perfect Cell goes "OH BEANS!" moments before being struck by it.
- Papa Wolf: Earthtron, who is protective of the kaiju Zaurs. So when Mordecai tries killing it because of its ‘imperfections’, he burns the cat to a crisp with a fireball.
- The Power of Love: In the final chapter, Kodaigon tells Racheal and Big Macintosh to let go of their despair and rage and focus on what they’re protecting. Racheal uses this advice in her fight with Redman, which allows her to have a clear head and is able to defeat Redman.
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: When Velora tackles the Alien Zarab to the ground, she says this just before tearing him apart:
- Velora: "Oh look! You're shapeshifting into a dead guy!"
- Precision F-Strike: In chapter 6 when Racheal’s team watches Plooma and Dangar mess with Namah and Diane's bodies to make it look like they're standing up, Rarity cries out "What the actual FUCK are they doing?!" Later in the same chapter Rarity calls Redman a bastard after his Red Lightning attack kills Fluttershy.
- Right for the Wrong Reasons: The first guess Pinkie Pie has on where Big Macintosh has been is that he defected to an alien revenge squad to get back at Starfleet. While he did defect to get back at Starfleet, he joined Luna's secret rebellion, and not some alien squad.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: As Juno and Eddy are caught in the middle of Ra’s fight with Videl and Android 18 and try to make a cut-and-run. Juno's able to escape, but Eddy is not so lucky, though with Eddy Ra wasn't the direct reason for his death.
- Sex Signals Death: Heketa tries to invoke this by devouring Racheal while having sex with her, but winds up being the one dead, as Racheal's partner Ira shows up and bites her in half.
- In the sixth chapter Yuriko and Moxxie have sex during the day, and are both killed during the night.
- And on the last night, Rarity is giving Big Macintosh a titjob while Velora masturbates watching them, only for Redman to ambush them and obliterates them.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Semi-Perfect Cell spends the whole story trying to find and absorb Android 18, with him being unable to due to either a contestant's or Redman's interference. So when he finally has her cornered in the last chapter, Android 18 gets decapitated by a Red Knife. Before Cell can absorb her body, he too is decapitated and killed by Redman.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Velora, who is prideful of walking around everywhere nude...except when in the presence of kids.
- Shipper on Deck: The last theory Pinkie Pie has on what Big Macintosh has been doing is that he's secretly banging one of her sisters. She's...really enthusiastic about that last guess.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: Pinkie Pie, the Fun Personified member of the Elements of Harmony, is the first Equestrian to die in the episode.
- Shout-Out: Semi-Perfect Cell begins the episode holding a copy of Highlander II: The Quickening, remembering that it was movie night down at HFIL.
- As Gumball is sent flying by Semi-Perfect Cell's beams of light, he shouts "TEAM GUMBALL IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"
- As Launch's Bad self fires at Kingstron with her machine gun, she taunts "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it!"
- How Racheal summarizes Kodaigon's speech to her and Big Macintosh:Racheal: "...so, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering? Is that it?"
- Just as Semi-Perfect Cell is about to absorb Android 18's body, he feels a distinct lack of feeling in his body, leading to:Semi-Perfect Cell: "Why can't I feel my everything?"
- Skewed Priorities: After seeing Android 18 get decapitated, Semi-Perfect Cell spends so much time thinking if he just needs to absorb her body and making a Dumb Blonde joke about her that he doesn't notice that he's also been decapitated until it's too late.
- Sore Loser: When Racheal beats Redman and gives him one final chance to walk away, Redman decides to use Red Massacre to forcibly control all the monsters and tries using them to destroy Racheal. Fortunately Ultraman Cosmos shows up shortly afterwards and saves Racheal.
- Squashed Flat: Namah dies on the fifth night when Plooma rolls over her, crushing her.
- Stripped to the Bone: When Fluttershy pushes Racheal out of the way of Redman's Red Thunder attack and is struck by it, her head is reduced to a skull.
- Take That!: Highlander II: The Quickening, which shows up in Semi-Perfect Cell's hand, as it was movie night in HFIL. And in HFIL it's stated that the only moves they have are [[Sequelitis bad sequels]]. And the sheer awfulness of the film combined with his ki-blast causes fissures to appear, which sends many contestants flying and killing two of them.
- Taking the Bullet: During the Replenishment, Fluttershy pushes Racheal out of the way of Redman's Red Thunder attack, and gets struck by it herself.
- Taking You with Me: In the last chapter, after Alopex gets hit by a Red Arrow, she decides if she's going, she's taking Alien Sasahiller with her, tackling him before they explode.
- Teeth Flying: When The Scout tries to get the Piranhaconda to stop chasing him by swinging a rock at it with his bat, all it does is knock some teeth out of it.
