I got BORED waiting for the next poster in the chain. So I went back to one of the first few pages, took a prompt from there, and edited it into this bump comment...

A group of terrorists seize a high rise apartment building that the character(s) is/are staying in.

Assuming that Syrni Sandra and Jen Jara are the only two Viporises in the cast and the terrorists are unaware of what Viporises can do, Syrni Sandra will take advantage of change blindness, sneak into the group of hostages and pretend to be one more face in the crowd, while Jen Jara is hiding elsewhere. They'll both call for the rest of the Web of Friendship on their communication microchips, the other members might be delayed by a crisis elsewhere (e.g. chasing Sarquoql). Syrni Sandra will wait for any opportunity when the guards glance away to teleport out a random overlooked hostage. Meanwhile, Jen Jara will be sneaking around Fishing for Mooks and casually dodging bullets, trying to be non-lethal unless the terrorists have already killed someone, then The Gloves Come Off with kicks, neck snaps and Murderous Thighs. She'd have to carefully conserve the amount of paralytic fluid in her stinger glands either way. When Syrni Sandra can't get away with exploiting change blindness to get any more hostages out, she'll teleport out of the hostage group to join Jen Jara, with her own full paralytic stinger glands to continue where Jen Jara probably ran out. They'll continue to sneak around Fishing for Mooks until the rest of the Web of Friendship finally show up to overwhelm what remains of the terrorists and mop up the mess.

Twin Mayatan vampires Aynara and Arnaya insist that the rest of the Web of Friendship stay out of this, that the two of them are more than enough to handle the situation. And then they proceed to turn it into a Mook Horror Show, coordinating to make sure the Dwindling Party of bad guys assume there's only one of them until it's too late. Only under VERY specific circumstances, after a thorough scanning of each terrorists' minds, if they're absolutely certain it wouldn't end up killing more hostages, would the twins consider a specific scare tactic. They could sneak a hostage out Right Under Their Noses, help the former hostage play possum, soak the former hostage in a terrorist's spilled blood, and briefly show off the supposed corpse before getting the former hostage out and to safety.

To keep this thread going, I'll write something.

Pavel Orzechowski didn't want to come. He's a bit of an introvert and he doesn't like parties like this. He felt so out of place. He only came, because 2 people he deemed his true friends (and vice versa) insisted. As he was thinking of an excuse to leave early, he bumped into his co-worker Yuko Hasegawa (they work together as bodyguards to a rich and influential Kobayashi family). Right under the mistletoe. Both were aware of tradition regarding this plant on Christmas. He cursed his luck. Not that he didn't like her or anything. She was one of the few people he trusted completely (given his Friendless Background, that is saying something). But, he didn't felt he deserved to be kissed, especially by her. She saw him getting uncomfortable with it, so she suggested they do it quickly. So they did. He apologized to her for making her go through with it (he has serious confidence issues, which most of the time hides perfectly) and left the party shorty after. Yuko got worried about him. She decided to confront him about this later, and hopefully help him.

Your characters gets to pick themselves a theme song! What song do they pick? Or, do they want to compose an original one?
You can pick whatever song you want. From video games, anime, movies, etc.

The theme songs that my characters come up with for themselves are not guaranteed to be the same ones that I come up with for them.

  • Varla, an Emotion Eater mermaid whose Berserk Button is being the target of flirting, would translate Take a Hint into Black Speech, which would probably necessitate coming up with an entirely new tune if the old one doesn't fit the different cadence, and substitute in heavy metal instruments.
  • Soryn: a snake-man wizard genetically engineered for Duel of Seduction, would favor For Your Entertainment, at least until he decides to compose his own Obligatory Bondage Song to croon while holding someone in his coils.
  • Rosalind Lumina Eisenberg is The Hermit vampire integrated into a herd of feral mustangs, clobbering zombies together in a Zombie Apocalypse. She doesn't consider March of Cambreadth to be properly her theme song, she sings a Gosh Dang It to Heck! version of it in remembrance of the guy who taught it to her. On a good day, she feels like claiming Touch the Sky for a theme song. On a bad day, she feels more like claiming one of many sad Country Western songs she knows, depending on what exactly is bothering her.
  • Syrni Sandra and Jen Jara, as Expies of Kim Possible and Shego, would at first be drawn to Kim's theme song and Shego's Leitmotif, before Syrni Sandra composes something bouncy with steel drums and Jen Jara whips up a percussion-only soundtrack that sounds a bit like a particularly rhythmic thunderstorm.
  • Shooting Star is a unicorn character for a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fanfiction, her Lethal Harmless Powers cutie mark is for conjuring sparkles with enough speed and power to be used as tiny burning bullets. Her original skin's medical condition would have bankrupted and eventually killed her if it weren't for Princess Luna crafting symbiotic Bio-Armor as a supplemental skin and hiring her as a secretnote  guard. She would like Soldiers of the Night, but would also compose a frenetic-paced song with a galloping beat that wouldn't be out of place in a Danmaku game.
  • As a cyborg, Arilay would definitely glom on to Prototype VIP, but only after coming to terms with her sudden need for a life-support suit.
  • Lilac Rook is a character for a RWBY fanfiction, the Lolita Fashionista of Team CRRE with a Home Field Advantage-based Semblance and a Parasol of Pain. She likes coming up with ironic nursery tunes. So far, she's got an Ominous Music Box Tune to play to get her in the Encounter Bait mood for Grimm creatures, and alternate lyrics to the tune of "Knick Knack Paddywhack" to sing while bounty hunting human or Faunus murderers:
    Murder one
    Murder two
There's a bounty placed on you
    With a knick-knack paddywhack
    Now that it's my turn
I'll catch you and watch you burn

    Murder two
    Murder three
That's enough, you can't run free
    With a knick-knack paddywhack
    Now that it's my turn
I'll catch you and watch you burn

    Murder three
    Murder four
Blood is splattered on the floor
    With a knick-knack paddywhack
    Now that it's my turn
I'll catch you and watch you burn

    Murder four
    Murder five
    Nobody wants you alive
    With a knick-knack paddywhack
    Now that it's my turn
I'll catch you and watch you burn

Aaron Emery probably just came home from school and completely freaks out seeing his house with his great-uncle ransacked. He drops his backpack on the floor and runs around the place screaming for his great-uncle Virgil. When he calms down he would then check if Virgil's rat and Aaron's dog are okay and unharmed. If Virgil is still missing he would use his cellphone to call him to see if he's still working at the clinic. While he's waiting for the phone to pick up Aaron goes to his bedroom because he knows Virgil would want to make sure Aaron's grimoire wasn't stolen. If it's missing, Aaron's gonna panic because that means there's someone out there that knows about his magic, or atleast knows whoever resides in that room has magic, and he will the rely on spells he has memorized and written in invisible words in his notebook to find it. He will do more investigating to see what items were stolen, what items were damaged to deduct the perpetrator's motivations, and see if they left any clues and if this was a random robber or someone with a grudge, and embark on a mission to get his spell book and magical items back if those were stolen.

Your character gets to have one wish granted, it can be anything they want, love, money, power, even resurrecting the dead, and there's no cruel price for it, no cruel twist or loophole on it, it will be granted the way they intended it, what do they wish?

  • Sarquoql wants to dominate the galaxy (usually trying via his Hypnotic Eyes), but if there was someone/something offering up a wish on a silver platter like that, he would be far too suspicious of the source to actually make that wish.
  • The Mayatan scientists who want to study Sarquoql's brain, but keep letting him slip through their fingers every time the Web of Friendship brings him gift-wrapped to them, would be too busy bickering about what to wish for to actually make any wishes, up until somebody not holding the Idiot Ball blurts out "You know, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place if Sarquoql didn't keep escaping, I wish we could keep a hold of him for once!"
  • Assuming that Rosalind Lumina Eisenberg doesn't immediately wish to cure her vampirism, stopping to think about it would give her the better idea to wish for acceptance from humans. Then she can go looking for the cure, or finally learn about and meet another good vampire who can help her with body/mind mastery, without worrying so much about Torches and Pitchforks.
  • Vampire Detective Heather Smith would wonder how to summarize into one wish all that she thinks needs to be done to permanently rescue her "sister-in-fang" Hazel Moorenote  from a dragon. Even though there won't be trouble from the genie, Heather suspects that there will almost certainly be trouble if she doesn't stop to think ahead of the consequences. Assuming that she doesn't give up before she can think of a way to verbally navigate around the obstacles (extensive enough to where I don't want to type out the Wall of Text), Hazel will be cured of her crippling addiction to dragon blood and safely out of that dragon's attention without jeopardizing the biggest sponsorship funding the terraforming of Earth's moon or replacing the dragon with someone worse.
  • Soryn would wish for telepathy so he can do Dirty Mind-Reading, as that's the one ability his genetic engineers tried and failed to install in him when they were preparing him for Duel of Seduction.
  • Varla would wish to have mastery over her body: that way she can turn her grueling Charles Atlas Superpower exercises into grueling Boxing Lessons for Superman exercises; and be even more immune to seduction than she already is. Then afterwards, she would facepalm as it occurs to her that she could have wished for everybody everywhere from that point forward to remain rational (and in her opinion, Properly Paranoid) despite any sexual arousal.
  • Any Void Maiden Viporis would wish that being unafraid of leaving their home moon was a property of the entire Viporis species instead of The Chosen Many. Not only are they anticipating the possibility of Earth-Shattering Kaboom and But What About the Astronauts?, it's not always easy dealing with having your whole life planned for you and being pushed into the job of astronaut/ambassador just because of one crucial thing you have that the majority population doesn't.

Pavel Orzechowski's hair got set on fire when facing on an entire class of Parahumans as a sparring match. Among them was his employer's eldest son Akimitsu Kobayashi. One of Akimitsu's classmates hit Pavel in the head with a small fireball, igniting his hair. Pavel was forced to extinguish the fire by pouring his water bottle on his head. At first, everyone thought to stop the match, but Pavel wanted to continue, saying he was fine. The match continued. Pavel admitted that he underestimated them. He wanted to be civil and go easy on them, despite their insensitive remarks about him (for being a foreigner and a cripple, as he was missing a right eye and arm at the moment). Now? He decided it would be appropriate to stop holding back. One of Akimitsu's more rude classmates laughed at Pavel hair being set on fire. It's payback time.
With the training bots Pavel commanded, he wiped the floor with the class, save for Akimitsu and two other classmates. Suffice to say, everyone who witnessed this match learned one thing - do not mess with Parahumans of European Dominion.

  • Varla gets increasingly paranoid as Valentine's Day approaches. The poor fool with a crush on her will be backstabbed with her Chastity Dagger before they even get a chance to enact their plan, as Varla's Emotion Eater powers spoil the surprise.
  • Heather Smith and Sir Robert are both asexual, but as a Chastity Couple, they keep affirming their bond on Valentine's Day. The first Valentine's Day after they met, they seek each other out, both with intentions to ask questions and get answers about how their relationship is growing. Sir Robert (who hadn't yet become a ghost) starts the discussion by awkwardly apologizing again for the way they met, with him mistaking Heather's vampiric hibernation for sleep enchanted to end with a kiss. He doesn't know if it's the kind of thing that would linger and bother her, and not knowing whether or not she's bothered is bothering him. Heather assures him that he's forgiven and she appreciates the sincerity of his apologies. After her "we're still friends" speech, she has a few questions about Courtly Love, trying to figure out why it's a close but not quite right-fitting label, which leads to wondering about other variations on Romance and Sexuality Separation until they're discussing Asexuality without knowing there's a word for it.
  • Shooting Star is a unicorn character for a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fanfiction, she's a bodyguard for Princess Luna. Shooting Star has a Lethal Harmless Powers cutie mark for making Danmaku out of her magic sparkles. She also has a medical condition that makes her skin fragile, which is why Princess Luna crafted an artifact of symbiotic Bio-Armor to nullify it. Unfortunately, Princess Luna's enthusiasm went a bit overboard and the artifact is Lovecraft Lite, so until Shooting Star gets the hang of her new skin, she has a chance of her synthetic skin spontaneously doing something Lovecraftian and freaking out any stallion she approaches for a date. When things go wrong sooner in whichever budding romance, she shrugs and decides to see what opportunities are available next Hearts and Hooves Day. When things go wrong later in whichever budding romance, she wonders in frustration why her supersuit manifested Vagina Dentata. She masters her symbiotic skin and doesn't have accidents anymore by the time she's out of boot camp, but by then, her coworkers would still have to gently remind her that striking up a romance with them is unprofessional.

Sir Robert, Knight in Shining Armor sent forward in time to be a Fish out of Temporal Water, is quite disgruntled that the evil wizard he was on the verge of defeating banished him to some strange long and narrow moving room that smells weird. But he recognizes the wizard who sent him there. They point at each other and say "You!" and the wizard starts to transform into a dragon. The bus driver hurriedly pulls over and throws them both out into a conveniently nearby random parking lot, then speeds away from the ensuing battle.

Bump post, answering and reusing my own latest question.

How about especially if it's anachronistic? Enter Sir Robert, Knight in Shining Armor sent forward in time to be a Fish out of Temporal Water three times, asked to beta-test a virtual reality lightsaber game.

  • If this is before his first time skip, Sir Robert would first and foremost need to be gently talked out of his Freak Out. It takes a long time, and even longer to explain "what does this do?" and "why would people want something that does that?" to the point where Sir Robert would be anywhere near useful as a beta tester. If explanations take too long and Sir Robert just isn't getting it, some frustrated developer might get the idea to have Sir Robert do voice-acting instead (in hopes that less questions will be asked before they can get any useful contribution out of Sir Robert), whereupon Sir Robert would be flabbergasted at the device that listens and copies his voice.
  • Sir Robert's first time skip had him sent forward somewhere between five and fifty years (I haven't decided yet, but he's still within the Middle Ages) by tasting the Schmuck Banquet of the Fair Folk. If this is between his first time-skip and his second time-skip, Sir Robert would still first and foremost need to be gently talked out of his Freak Out. Once he's calmed down, he wonders how he got so far into the future, as he's pretty sure he didn't eat Fair Folk food this time. And then it would go pretty much the same as above.
  • Sir Robert's second time skip was caused by an enemy wizard snatching victory from the jaws of defeat by sending Sir Robert forward to our time to disorient him. The enemy wizard then turned himself into a dragon to extend his lifespan so he could take The Slow Path, become more powerful in the meantime, get used to the world changing, and thus have an unfair advantage over Sir Robert when they meet again centuries later. Sir Robert still managed to get lucky enough to defeat the draconic wizard anyway. If this is after Sir Robert defeated the wizard, then he's already had his post-time-travel Freak Out. He's also already been introduced to the concept of computers (among other things), but he still has no experience with them and has had no more than a glimpse of a small fraction of their capabilities. He wouldn't have to be taught completely from scratch, but he'd still have a flood of questions before and during his trial run. When he's handed the controller in the shape of a lightsaber hilt, he'd ask, "You call this a sword? Where is the blade? 'Tis only a hilt! Or so ye claim, I have never before seen any sword with a hilt like this." Once the VR headseat is put on, he might ask, "How does this illusion stretch so far in front of me when this flat, solid object that should be blocking my vision is nearly as close to my eyes as my helmet is?" And then he'd definitely ask, "What is the point of making a sword with an illusional blade and dreaming up an illusional world to go with it when it would be so much simpler to go outdoors and practice with a real sword?" He'd quickly see the immediate benefit of no real mangling after losing to the first pack of wandering monsters, with perhaps a passing comment of how some painless practice is good for learning at low stakes, but eventually one would need to learn how to deal with real pain and sword-weight before it becomes a surprise on a real battlefield. He'd then try and try again at the game, wondering what style of swordfighting is best suited to this unfamiliar sword. After encountering his first human-shaped opponent also armed with a lightsaber, Sir Robert would at first wonder whether it was himself or the "phantom" that was wielding their sword all wrong, but after a second try, he would start to spot things like when the human-shaped opponent is in a seemingly unbalanced stance and either doesn't fall the right way or doesn't unbalance at all whenever Sir Robert makes a move to unbalance the "phantom" further.
  • Sir Robert was living for a while (plenty long enough to meet and befriend both Heather Smith and Trixie Doe) in the early days of the space age, his third time skip was caused by him dying and then taking a while to return as a ghost. He arrives as a ghost in the future when the moon and Mars are being terraformed. By this time, the time skip hardly phases him, he greets Heather Smith as an old friend and gets reacquainted with Trixie Doe. He'd be moderately accustomed to technology at this point, e.g. he knows about lightbulbs and how tightly packed arrangements of really, really tiny ones are called "pixels" that somehow generate the "illusions" that he sees on a screen or virtual reality headset. He would be thrown off (like anyone else would) at the changes in technology between our time and the time of terraforming, but he would eventually learn enough to function (but not quite enough to be an expert), including how to possess a blank slate robot wearing his re-forged knight's armor at will. As just a ghost, he has a lot of trouble wearing a virtual reality headset, but inside the robot, he doesn't particularly need a virtual reality headset when the "eyeball" cameras can be bypassed by feeding the virtual reality data directly into the computer brain. Sir Robert wouldn't quite understand how that last bit works, it would be slightly unnerving until he figures out he can lean his head out of the robot's head slightly and take a peek at the real world while the robot is visually processing its illusion. Sir Robert would have to complete the transfer of his muscle memory into the robot before he's satisfied with his own performance testing out the virtual reality lightsaber game, otherwise he'd complain about feeling clumsy.

The Motorway/Freeway/Autobahn is solid due to an accident.

The wormhole gateway is shut down due to an explosion attributed to sabotage. Spaceships unlucky enough to not have their own wormhole generators are all drifting around the gateway. Police spaceships are swarming around between them, scanning and occasionally docking with civilian spaceships in their search for the saboteur. Sarquoql, hiding in the spaceship of an an archaeologist whom he mind-controlled, is fuming at the unexpected delay in his plan to get away from the bounty hunters and vigilantes and the Web of Friendship. He is not the saboteur, but he is wanted for other reasons.

A mysterious lady shows up to your (home/office/school) to give you an old sword she just happened to have lying around.

  • Out in the wilderness with a herd of mustangs, Rosalind Lumina Eisenberg at first tries to avoid the Delicious Distraction, at least until she's privately gotten an extra snack of blood from her horses to be extra sure of keeping the Horror Hunger at bay. Rosalind wonders why anyone would just give her a sword out of the blue. The mustangs are fidgeting and snorting suspiciously at the stranger. Rosalind politely declines the gift, saying "Weapons and I don't mix," citing all the times she's been horribly clumsy with a sword.
  • Unimpressed, Varla the mermaid does not say a single word throughout the encounter. She demonstrates the inferiority of the gift sword by clashing it against her own Loyal Phlebotinum sword and pointing out the new nick in the blade, then she wheels off in a huff.

Your character just heard a loud explosion behind them.

  • Salsa the Screwball Squirrel is usually the one setting off explosions. If she did so this time, she'll just snicker and watch the chaos. In a "Not Me This Time" case, she'll whip around and start a frenzied search for the instigator, hoping for a worthy partner in crime.
  • Any Web of Friendship member would sigh "Oh, No... Not Again!" and rush to the rescue with efficiency and Danger Deadpan born from Seen It All.

Their best friend is drowning in a crowded pool, but nobody else is noticing.

Varla the mermaid has a sense in common with sharks — electroreception. While in the water, they can use the electricity in other people's muscles to pinpoint locations and guess what they're doing. Electroreception and sight are the easiest senses for Varla to notice that something is wrong.

Assuming that this is a public pool and the Muggles think that Varla is wearing a mermaid costume — Varla glances at the idle lifeguards and groans "I am Surrounded by Idiots" as she rams her way through the crowd to easily fish out her fellow member of the Web of Friendship. Varla beginning CPR finally gets the lifeguards' attention, they spring into action fetching an AED and keeping gawkers out of the way and whatnot. Because chest compressions are exhausting, the lifeguards organize to take turns continuing, expecting Varla to get exhausted soon. But because of Varla's Training from Hell, she keeps going long after the lifeguards expect her to need a break. When she finally does need a break and gets questioned about her endurance, Varla only says "What do you mean, you can't go for that long? And you call yourselves lifeguards? Disgraceful." As soon as her buddy is okay again, Varla lets loose her Anger Born of Worry and berates "What the hell happened back there? I know you're better at swimming than that! This is a calm little pool, not Arilay's ocean storm simulator, you should be over-trained for this! How could you possibly forget all those crisis swim lessons that Arilay and I taught you?"

Assuming that this is Arilay's ocean storm simulator, with Arilay the cyborg and Varla on lifeguard duty — nobody else is noticing probably because the telepaths are off on an unrelated mission and the Web of Friendship members in the drill are a little more overwhelmed than Arilay intended. Varla signals Arilay the cyborg to shut down the simulator as she swims to the rescue. The rest of the endurance training is cancelled. Between the high-tech teleporters and sick bay, Arilay's built-in AED, and one Web of Friendship member with the power to hold onto souls until the bodies become inhabitable again, the unfortunate Web member will be okay. An impromptu lesson is made out of dissecting how things got to that point and why Varla was the first to notice when probability and cameras suggest it should have been Arilay the cyborg.

Your character loses their only pair of shoes in a freak accident involving a swamp.

Losing your boots in the swamps of Qorisa is a very bad thing. Those boots are there to protect you from, let's see... venomous insects that would rather you not step into their funnels. Venomous, territorial serpents. Toxic-skinned frogs. Parasites that'd love to give their young a nice, warm place to grow, like the inside of your ankle. Aggressive rats bearing diseases engineered by a bored Abusive Precursor. And so forth.

Koyel ul'Netho and Layi ul'Oriyith would survive without any toxins in their veins or disgusting new friends, though their hearts would be pounding the entire way back from the stress of ensuring this. They're experienced enough to walk, slowly, to the nearest trail and make their way to a village. Along the way they'll bag something — rock lizards, deer, or whatever else they can get — to barter for new shoes. They'll prefer rock lizards, simply because they can have new boots made out of their tough leather, selling or bartering the leftover hide and meat. Then they'd buy or barter for two shots of whiskey: one for the village stele as an offering of thanks, one for themselves. If they have to choose, the stele gets priority; they would rather go without a drink than offend the spirits.

Aseyu ul'Valmoth is pretty savvy by most standards. Qorisa makes that necessary. However, part of that savvy is knowing when she's outmatched by the situation; she wouldn't head into the swamps without a trusted, truly expert guide. She would stick close to them and follow their lead getting back out again, letting them prod and poke at the path to ensure she doesn't suffer any of the above. Afterwards, she'd buy a new pair of boots... and, as she'd grumpily know, she would almost certainly be overcharged. Qorisa's remote villages have more use for goods than gold, and while they take their rules of hospitality very seriously, those rules say nothing about customers at one's store.

Your character has good reason to suspect, but no proof, that their darkest secret has been learned by the last person they'd want to learn it.

Parthenia will try to ...erm... discreetly dispose of that person as quickly as possible. An Inquisitor can't be careless.

Max will suspect that person has something to do with his current employer, who is supposed to know everything, but won't make any moves against him. It's pointless anyway.

Though not really bothered by the news at first, out of curiosity, Holly would stick around to see what her deceased Aunt Gerdie left everyone else. If it's just money, she will not care at all. If it's sweets, will she end up sobbing, believing that Aunt Gerdie never loved her and is playing a cruel joke on her from beyond the grave by giving everyone candy except her. This sadness will quickly transform into furious, irrational anger and she will savagely attack anyone who received sweets or candy instead of her.

Jeffry would be angry from the start. All those years he spent cozying up to Grandpappy, only to not get what he wanted from the old geezer, a spot in his will. He will leave in a huff, or possibly a whiny tantrum, but is too mad to even stick around for the will reading.

Thomas, no matter what, knew his grandma always loved him, and that no amount of material wealth could replace the grandparent he sorely missed. He sticks around, but spends the whole afternoon crying.

All of the characters here are half-human half-extradimensional energy aliens, capable of turning into Hard Light spaceships and back. (Think Spaceship Girl meets Sapient Ship meets Weredragon, kinda.)

Alternova Exoth Dauntless and her brother Vanderius Endoth Dauntless would be the rich people in this case — and their "mansion" is a sentient extradimensional mothership who's also a parent of both of them.

Assuming that both are away with their other parent... well. They are part of a team of 5 members, so I could do the other 3 members.

Alpha would treat the servants kindly and generally be easy with them. He'd probably want to make good friends with them rather than take them for granted as servants. Despite this, he has a very powerful vision akin to True Sight + X-Ray Vision that can cover galaxies, meaning that he could spot intruders very easily.

Eris would periodically create harmless chaos when bored (i.e. punching the walls, being The Gadfly to the servants) and order the servants to clean up any messes she makes. Thankfully, as extradimensional items, the stuff she breaks should be easy to clean/reconstruct. Most probably, however, she'd use the training room area a lot, thanks to her mentality as a weapon. Might get thrown out if she causes too much chaos. She however would be very good at dealing with anybody trying to break into the "mansion".

Selene would probably get thrown out of the "mansion" by the mothership itself, after she almost immediately requests to sleep with the male servants, who are pretty much forbidden to have sexual relations. She's that kind of person, and the Dauntless family doesn't tolerate her vices.

That's Iolana's raison d'etre. Being a chaos spirit possessing an airship, she pranks her crewmates by turning off water, rearranging the interior layouts and stuff like that. She's in charge of navigation anyway and she's smart enough not to try it on the captain.

Same.

Your character learns that their beloved, recently deceased relative specifically excluded them from their will.

This already happened to Rosalind Lumina Eisenberg, and she knows why. Rosalind died before her beloved relative. By the time she unexpectedly came back as a vampire, that relative had already rewritten the will to account for Rosalind's death. So Rosalind isn't surprised by the will-altering itself, she's just surprised by how quickly it happened. But she has bigger things to worry about, as soon after she finds out, she's found by the clan of Manipulative Bastard vampires who turned her and who want to Corrupt the Cutie.

Your character is left alone watching their rich friend's mansion while they're away for one week. They've been entrusted with authority over the servants.

Prince Blueblood is most definitely not Shooting Star's friend, but he can't say no to Princess Luna. Luna wants to take Blueblood away for a scolding about what he did to Rarity at the Grand Galloping Gala. Luna is on the cusp of hiring Shooting Star as a bodyguard, but first Shooting Star needs somewhere private to be nursed for her skin condition and its solution of a Bio-Armor artifact that Luna whipped up in a Mad Scientist frenzy. Luna has eavesdropped on a burglar scheming in his lucid dreams to rob Prince Blueblood's mansion. Conveniently, the problems can be combined into solutions for each other — the servants get a much-needed break from Prince Blueblood and can discreetly report to Princess Luna as Shooting Star undergoes a Secret Test of Character — how will she treat the servants and the burglar while getting the hang of the seemingly-late-delivered artificial skin and its Lovecraft Lite quirks?

Shooting Star Apologizes a Lot to the servants about her high-maintenance skin condition, quietly frets at the "delay" in receiving the artifact, has a Cute Clumsy Girl phase figuring out how to wear it (and apologizes a lot to the servants again), and semi-accidentally scares the burglar into temporary catatonia long enough to realize what's happening and secure him for the police. This satisfies Princess Luna, and Shooting Star is hired as her bodyguard.

Your character wants to harmlessly prank a friend.

  • Mequoql has already played a harmless prank. She trained the genetically engineered dragonhorses to fake a sneeze on cue, then used her Light 'em Up powers to make a Faux Flame to fake a Sneeze of Doom. But then she made the mistake of debuting the prank in a crowd of her friends that included two individuals both with Super-Reflexes and thermal sensors all over their skin. When those two individuals didn't spook, nobody else in the crowd spooked.
  • Opal the espionage mouse has a habit of playing dead while being carried in the mouth of an espionage cat genetically modified to not eat her. She usually uses the tactic to infiltrate or exfiltrate buildings where she has a job to do, but can easily repurpose it for an Eek, a Mouse!! prank on some random civilian if she gets bored enough.
  • Soryn, snake-man genetically engineered for Duel of Seduction, is a bit too pervy to say for certain that whatever prank he thinks up would be harmless. What would be mostly tame? Surprise tickling whoever he's having a fling with, perhaps?

Your character's leg just cartoonishly fell off for no apparent reason.

Elise stares at the leg for a few moments, just long enough to mouth "what the fuck". Then she picks it up, holds it to the stump, and casts healing magic to see if that reattaches it. If that does work, she spends the next several days paranoid that the other leg is also about to fall off any moment, until someone points out that maybe she should go to the hospital about this. (If it fails, she manages to come up with that incredibly obvious idea herself.)
