As you can see, I am a lonely wonk.
My obsession is people, places, things and ideas that are truly interesting, or at least that I find to be so. I'm unashamed of my unique passions and subcultures, unafraid of philosophy and whatever Unfortunate Implications arise from it, willing to challenge tradition and the status quo and eager to go to extremes even if other people don't understand, all the while being willing to have some fun without pretending that we don't live in a Crapsack World, even if what I find "fun" other people don't exactly...you know...get.
Some of my best friends are time travelers, ESPers, extraterrestrials, vampires, and magical girls, I'll have you know.
My enemies include The Ancient Conspiracy, The Omniscient Council of Vagueness, the Powers That Be, the Secret Circle of Secrets, the Corrupt Church, Sinister Silhouettes, Normal People, The Government, The Man, The Man Behind the Man, The Syndicate, MIB, the Fortune 500, Sinister Surveillance, Scam Religion, Insane Troll Logic, Hypocrites, and Fan Dumb.
My interests include Anime, Manga, Cosplayers, Role-Playing Games, Fan Fiction, Alternate History, Extreme and underground music, Dark psychedelia, and Epic Rocking.
Favorite characters:
The Doctor (especially the Fourth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth)
I provide examples of:
- Above Good and Evil: This explains it pretty well, but without the bombastic triumphalism.
- Agnosticism: I don't know if there is such a thing as "God", but if there is I think I hate it. After all, God and Satan Are Both Jerks.
- Agent Mulder: I want to believe...
- Anarchy Is Chaos: Completely inverted as I am an anarchist, meaning I desire to subvert and abolish only involuntary or hierarchical organization.
- Ancient Conspiracy: My implacable enemy. See Conspiracy Theorist
- Aristocrats Are Evil: Pretty much my opinion, take it for what you will.
- Badass Angster
- Batman Gambit: I'm very perceptive of others and can predict with a fair degree of certainty how they will act and react. So when I desire a certain outcome, I execute my plans accordingly.
- Betty and Veronica: I always go for Veronica.
- Beware the Nice Ones: You won't even see me coming and, afterward, no one will believe you.
- Break the Haughty: I particularly enjoy doing this.
- But I Digress: I do this a lot.
- Chaotic Good
- Children Are Innocent: My childhood completely averted this.
- CIA Evil, FBI Good: Completely averted. Both the CIA and the FBI are part of The Conspiracy.
- Collector of the Strange: I collect dead flowers and put them up for display. Don't ask me why.
- Combat Pragmatist
- Conspiracy Theorist: I would consider myself apart of the conspiracist school of history. But, of course, to me, they '''aren't''' theories. Here's my Author Filibuster:
- "Conspiracy is a legitimate concept in law: the collusion of two or more people pursuing illegal means to effect some illegal or immoral end. People go to jail for committing conspiratorial acts. Conspiracies are a matter of public record, and some are of real political significance. The Watergate break-in as well as its coverup which led to Nixon’s downfall, the Iran-contra affair much of which is still uncovered, the savings and loan scandal which was described by the Justice Department as “a thousand conspiracies of fraud, theft, and bribery,” the cruel MK-Ultra and associated experiments and research, Operation Gladio, the Gulf of Tonkin and other false flags, the recent Stuxnet worm, etc. were all proven conspiracies. Often the term “conspiracy”, however, is applied dismissively whenever one suggests that people who occupy positions of political and economic power are consciously dedicated to advancing their elite interests. Even when they openly profess their designs, there are those who deny that intent is involved. In 1994, the officers of the Federal Reserve announced they would pursue monetary policies designed to maintain a high level of unemployment in order to safeguard against “overheating” the economy. Like any creditor class, they preferred a deflationary course. Still, many assume that a conspiracy is being imagined because self-interested collusion is being ascribed to powerful people. Those who suffer from conspiracy phobia are fond of saying: “Do you actually think there’s a group of people sitting around in a room plotting things?” For some reason that image is assumed to be so patently absurd as to invite only disclaimers. But where else would people of power get together – on park benches or carousels? Indeed, they meet in rooms: corporate boardrooms, Pentagon command rooms, at the Bohemian Grove, in the choice dining rooms at the best restaurants, resorts, hotels, and estates, in the many conference rooms at the White House, the NSA, the CIA, Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, Eythrope or wherever. And, yes, they consciously plot – though they call it “planning” and “strategizing” – and they do so in great secrecy, often resisting all efforts at public disclosure. No one confabulates and plans more than political and corporate elites and their hired specialists. To make the world safe for those who own it, politically active elements of the owning class have created a national security state that expends billions of dollars and enlists the efforts of vast numbers of people. Yet there are individuals who ask with patronising, incredulous smiles, do you really think that the people at the top have secret agendas, are aware of their larger interests, and talk to each other about them? To which I respond, why would they not? This is not to say that every corporate and political elite is actively dedicated to working for the higher circles of power and property. Nor are they infallible or always correct in their assessments and tactics or always immediately aware of how their interests are being affected by new situations. But they are more attuned and more capable of advancing their vast interests than most other social groups. The alternative is to believe that the powerful and the privileged are somnambulists, who move about oblivious to questions of power and privilege; that they always tell us the truth and have nothing to hide even when they hide so much; that although most of us ordinary people might consciously try to pursue our own interests, wealthy elites do not; that when those at the top employ force and violence around the world it is only for the laudable reasons they profess; that when they arm, train, and finance covert actions in numerous countries, and then fail to acknowledge their role in such deeds, it is because of oversight or forgetfulness or perhaps modesty; and that it is merely a coincidence how the policies of the national security state so consistently serve the interests of the transnational corporations and the capital-accumulation system throughout the world."
- Dangerously Genre-Savvy: And this was true even before TV Tropes Ruined My Life. Because of this, unfortunately I heavily criticize some media. Tends to lead to a lot of "I Knew It!".
- Dark Is Not Evil
- Daydream Believer: I like to entertain such notions at times
- Deadpan Snarker: I frequently engage in this.
- Death Glare: I have a particularly jarring one which you DO NOT want to see. Luckily, however, you likely never will.
- Driven to Suicide: A few times in my life. I Got Better though.
- Entry Pimp
- Fangirl: (But I'm a guy!). For Alexsandra, C.C., Misa Amane's fashion sense, Fllay Allster, Yuuko Ichihara, Shiina, Aki Aoi, Saeko Busujima, Rose, Cameron, Lara Croft, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane, Elle Bishop, Maria, Sena.

- Guilty Pleasures: Zoids New Century, Invader Zim, Gargoyles, The Beatles, Avril Lavigne, some Hentai, Pokemon Special, Celine Dion.

- And I think Elegant Gothic Lolita combined with Of Corsets Sexy is CUTE!!!
- Hellbent For Leather: I'm very fond of black leather. Real leather, that is.
- Heroic Sociopath: Well...I try anyway.
- I Thought Everyone Could Do That: Comes up a lot concerning my Wicked Cultured vocabulary.
- In Harmony with Nature: Of the dark Nietzsche Wannabe variety.
- Intelligence Equals Isolation
- Headphones Equal Isolation: But this is usually done intentionally when I don't want other people to bother me.
- Hidden Depths: And they'll stay that way for your own good.
- Info Dump: Necessary, since a lot of my personal positions are highly controversial and require some rather long explanation in order to justify to some people.

- Love Makes You Crazy: And it hurts!
- Manic Pixie Dream Girl: I desperately need one of these!
- Manipulative Bastard: I am a Scorpio after all.
- Mind-Control Eyes: An exaggeration, but I am fairly skilled at legitimate hypnotism and autosuggestion after years of practice. Real Life is quite different from fiction, however.
- Missing Mom: My biological mother left me as a toddler. See Fetish Fuel for how I think this has affected me. I later ran away.
- The Multiverse: My view of reality.
- Mysterious Past: Nothing to say here.
- Nietzsche Wannabe: In my opinion, it's an Unfortunate Implication of the universe. Make of that what thou wilt.
- Not So Stoic
- Ontological Mystery: My overarching quest to discover whether or not this reality is even "real".
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: My appearance.
- Paranoia Fuel: The right conversation with me will give you plenty of this.
- Perpetual Frowner: When I'm not with anyone who knows me. Otherwise, I wear my ever so slightly Slasheresque Stepford Smile.
- Photographic Memory
- Precision F-Strike: I almost never swear at others. When I do, its paired with a Death Glare followed by the silent threat of a No Holds Barred Beat Down.
- Properly Paranoid: Well, at least I think so. And I can probably convince you too.
- The Quiet One: Unless I'm writing or when I'm snarking.
- Real Men Eat Meat: Animals eat each other, so why can't I?
- Really 700 Years Old: Because of my detailed knowledge of world history and world-weary jaded cynicism, I often feel this way.
- Room Full of Crazy: I have one of these. I mean, why let four perfectly blank walls stay that way, right?
- The Runaway: And never looked back.
- Serial Tweaker
- Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Even though I'm Above Good and Evil (see above), it's still my preference.
