    A-I
  • American Dad!: Hayley is headstrong, dominant, and hedonistic, with a Limited Wardrobe of a black tank top and jeans. She also dresses up on formal occasions, wears panties, likes the color pink, and fawns over animals.
  • Amphibia:
    • Anne Boonchuy is either this or a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak. She is feisty and tenacious, never afraid of speaking her mind or resorting to physical violence when need be. She has an adventurous spirit and partakes in many athletic activities. She even wears a suit in "Anne of the Year". Despite having a somewhat tomboyish persona at first glance, her femininity is just as prominent, if not more so. She enjoys stereotypical girls' activities such as going to the mall, painting her nails, and reading teen romance magazines. Polly was even too boyish for her own liking; she attempted to change her to fit in with the feminine ideal. Then there are traits that don't really fit into either category, such as her dislike of camping, not because she minds it on principle but simply because she is hopelessly inept at it.
    • Her friend Marcy Wu fits this more. She may be a happy adventurer and strategic planner with Boyish Short Hair and a love for video games, but her usual outfit in Newtopia consists of a makeshift skirt instead of pants. Also, when she and Anne reunite for the first time in months, Marcy is overjoyed and starts squealing with excitement in a very girlish way.
  • Arthur: D.W. Read will climb trees, play catch with Arthur and Dad, and do other tomboyish (for her age) things. She also seems like the hardier one between her and her Girly Girl friend, Emily, when it comes to roughhousing/generally dealing with the Tibble twins. That being said, she is also very into unicorns and anything pink. Some of the books in particular also show her as being very into plush toys. In the episode where she gets a new bike, she turns one down that has pink angel wings on it because it's "too girly," but the simpler one she chooses is also pink and has streamers.
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender:
    • Toph Beifong is a tough Cute Bruiser and One of the Boys. But she does know high society manners very well, can use them if she absolutely has to, and actually enjoys her spa day with Katara in the Vignette Episode "Tales of Ba Sing Se".
    • Suki reminds Sokka at the end of her debut episode that she's also a girl as well as a warrior. When they meet up again in season 2, she almost squeals his name (once he remembers who she is), and in season 3, her Kiyoshi warrior attire is replaced with more feminine Fire Nation wear and some more humorous reactions to the craziness that surrounds her as well. She's even shown looking a little upset as if concerned about her sex appeal when Sokka seems to ignore her when they're hanging out on the beach despite the fact that she's wearing a fairly skimpy bikini (and looking a little confused as to what he's doing before she realizes that he's trying, unsuccessfully, to make a sand sculpture of her — despite how badly it turns out she appreciates the "sweet" intentions of the effort).
    • Definitely applies to Korra from The Legend of Korra: loud, abrasive, and has no shame getting into burping contests with one of her best friends to name a few Tomboy elements, slightly-above-average height, well-toned, can hug a guy and his three kids off the ground at once, rides a giant Polar Bear Dog, is a pro-bender (basically boxing but with Elemental Powers), and is the freaking AVATAR and you gotta deal with it! Then she puts on make-up and a gown for a date or formal ball, and ranges from elegant to stunning. And since she never seems embarrassed by being seen in public in a dress she may just like it, too.
  • Ben 10: Ben's cousin Gwen is short-tempered, willing to take parts in fight when she has the power to fight back, knows martial arts and spends her free time on a computer. She also enjoys shopping, learned how to dance, and was very eager to take part in the wedding of her cousin during Big Fat Alien Wedding.
  • On the 2003 The Berenstain Bears animated series, Betsy is a talented athlete who participates in basketball, track... and ballet, while wearing a yellow and pink dress and pink hair ribbons.
  • Big City Greens: Gloria Sato is either this or a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak. She is something of a tomboy having a feisty and cynical attitude, and is interested in many sports. She even wears a suit in "Flimflammed" and "Gloria's Cafe". Despite that, she has shown numerous times to have quite a large feminine streak to her like partaking in activities such as wearing her standard pink t-shirt and purple jeans and hairband, going to dances, and love of the artistic and romantic nature of Paris. She has even worn a dress on numerous occasions.
  • Bob's Burgers: Louise Belcher is by far the most aggressive of the three kids and, despite being the youngest, is the unofficial leader. She does not share her older sister Tina's interest in more stereotypical "girly" pursuits. However ... she wears a pink hat with bunny ears at all times and nearly has a meltdown when a bully steals it.
  • Codename: Kids Next Door
    • Numbuh 362 is mainly known for being a very stern and serious, tough and logical commanding leader of the KND, behaving much like a military officer. She's also the only female operative who is usually seen wearing pants regularly and is comfortable being addressed by her fellow operatives as "sir". That being said, she shows a softer and even more vulnerable side to herself at times, often functions as the Team Mom and has been seen in skirts and other girly clothing on some occasions. Rachel was also seen wearing Rainbow Monkey slippers in Operation I.T., which suggests she has some fondness for them, albeit to a far lesser extent than Kuki or Fanny.
    • Numbuh 5 is the Tomboy to Numbuh 3's Girly Girl. One episode has Lizzie taking the kids to the beauty parlor for some pampering and Numbuh 5 relishes the chance to have her nails done.
  • DC Super Hero Girls 2019: Supergirl is a short haired, leather jacket wearing, Boisterous Bruiser Metalhead, who is also absolutely enamored with cute animals.
  • The Deep (2015): Ax-Crazy Pirate Girl Mad Maddie is obsessed with mermaids.
  • DuckTales (2017): Webby is far less of a girly-girl than the original Webby, but still retains a noteworthy girly side all the same. She wears hairbows and pleated skirts, loves ponies, and admits to Dewey that part of the reason she covers her notebooks in glitter is that it makes them pretty.
  • Ed, Edd n Eddy: All three Kanker Sisters are the epitome of The Lad-ette: aggressive, rude, unhygienic bullies who love fighting and sexually harassing the Eds. They also like to wear makeup and take care of their hair.
  • Franklin: Beaver sometimes exemplifies Vanity Is Feminine and enjoys stuff like dressing up in a pink tutu and dancing around a maypole. She also participates in a number of different sports, is very competitive and is additionally a Book Whiz, and often hangs out with the title character and his friends when she's not hanging out with Goose.
  • Futurama: Leela is a spaceship captain who's trained in martial arts and will use violence to solve certain problems, but she also has a soft spot for cute animals and children, and can often be emotionally vulnerable.
  • Gravity Falls: Being the only daughter of a lumberjack and loving to pull pranks, Wendy is both a Lad-ette and One of the Boys, but she has extremely long hair and is shown to love stuffed animals, Squee over cute things, engage in random dance parties with Mabel, and take it very personally when Gideon steals her moisturizer. She's also stated to wear make-up, and despite her laid-back One of the Boys demeanor, she does get quite emotional about relationships.
  • Grojband: Laney Penn is a snarky Fiery Redhead and One of the Boys (to the point where she's often mistaken for a guy), but is also shown to be a closet Girly Girl. She shows a fondness for unicorns and cute animals, and a few shots of her room (and Concept Art of it) show she has lots of stuffed animals, a dollhouse, and a tea set.
  • Hailey's On It!: Hailey Banks is quite the tomboy who wears a t-shirt and overalls as her go-to outfit, has a Tomboyish Ponytail, likes rough games like Punch Buggy, reads superhero comics, and readily accepts the role of a cowgirl. She also dresses up for special events, auditions for cheerleading, loves boy bands, watches the overly saccharine The Puffles, values birdhouses (and crafts them herself), and has a soft spot for animals.
  • Hey Arnold!:
    • Helga G. Pataki is an extremely tomboyish and violent Tsundere, but she always wears pink dresses, her room is filled with girly stuff, and when she's in private she gets very romantic about her secret crush on Arnold.
    • Big Patty is one of the toughest kids in school but wears a little blue bow in her hair and goes on a date with Harold.
  • Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi: Yumi's the tomboy to Ami's Girly Girl, but that doesn't mean she's a total lack of feminine hobbies and interests.
  • Hidden Side: J.B. isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and has a deep interest and skill in mechanics yet she dyes her hair pink and wears a pink shirt. Parker also wears boyish clothing and her mannerism are not really feminine yet she dyes her hair light purple, has her hair tied in braided Girlish Pigtails, and adores cats.
  • High Guardian Spice: Rosemary is an impulsive, mischievous and rough-and-tumble tomboy who enjoys fighting, adventures and weapons; her pink hair is styled into Girlish Pigtails and she usually wears pink outfits, with a frilly dress being her default look.
  • Invader Zim: Gaz, the sole female character in the quartet of main characters, is a very surly, aggressive preteen girl whose interests include video games, tormenting her brother, and snarking at everyone and everything around her. However, the episode "Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy" shows her sporting a large pink hair bow during two flashbacks from her early childhood. Another episode "Gaz, Taster of Pork" reveals that she sleeps wearing pink, winged footie pajamas in a bedroom filled with Creepy Cute stuffed animals and dolls (that double as monstrous security machines), Also, she wears a dress with pinkish leggings on the show and a skirt with her new outfit in the comics.

    J-Z
  • Jem and the Holograms: Aja is the token tomboy of Jem’s band. But while she is seen as a Wrench Wench and Sports Buff, she is not the one wearing pants in her primary outfit.
  • Justice League Unlimited: Black Canary Fights Like a Normal despite having powers and built her motorcycle by hand, but wears cocktail waitress stockings and a decent amount of makeup.
  • Katie and Orbie: Katie wears gender-neutral overalls and a t-shirt, likes to play lively outdoor games, and doesn't care for dolls, but she does take ballet classes and enjoys playing dress-up too.
  • Kim Possible: Kim's a well-skilled martial artist and loves playing sports — but she's also into typical "girly girl" things like fashion and cheerleading. Plus, her Halloween costume was of a pretty pink princess.
  • The Life and Times of Juniper Lee: June is an Action Girl with some tomboyish interests, but she's shown having no problem with more traditionally feminine activities.
  • The Lion Guard:
    • Fuli is tough, no-nonsense, and hot-headed who is always ready to leap into action, yet hates anything dirty or uncouth such as bugs, mud, gas, and musk. And contrasting from her usual brashness is a more polite and dignified side to her.
    • Jasiri is a fierce Action Girl who is very sweet and affectionate and has a flirtatious flair. She is nurturing towards younger hyena cubs.
  • The Loud House: Given the large cast of female characters, there are many girls who, to varying levels, could qualify as tomboys in the show. But even the most masculine of them still have identifiable feminine qualities, if sometimes few and far between:
    • Lana Loud is the show’s quintessential example of a tomboy, rivaled only by Lynn Jr, and is more-or-less meant to resemble the stereotype, right down to the clothes. She’s dirty, messy, rough, tough, raspy-voiced, and contrasts spectacularly with her twin sister, who is a huge Girly Girl and likes pageants and pretty stuff. However, when she was forced into partaking in a pageant in “Toads and Tiaras”, she discovered she didn’t mind wearing a dress (though she thought it was a sparkly towel). She also has a motherly, nurturing side when it comes to her pets, or all animals in general. In addition, she sometimes joins in with the other sisters in doing girly things like watching Dream Boat, squeeing with Lola about their chance to become bluebells or the collective squee from “Heavy Meddle”. It's best demonstrated by the fact that she genuinely gets along the best with her extremely feminine and girly twin sister Lola despite having a more masculine sister in Lynn.
    • Lynn Loud Jr. is the most tomboyish of all the girls in the Loud family, if not all the girls in the show, taking her aggressive, masculine personality to huge extremes. She plays contact sports, loves practicing Mexican wrestling, and has a rather violent, ultra-competitive disposition. She is The Lad-ette, right down to being a Gasshole, and all-around unfeminine, to the point where her male counterpart in "One of the Boys" is almost an exact duplicate of her. However, when she's part of the whole sibling group, she isn't above doing things that are girly. Examples include joining in the Squee in "Heavy Meddle", partaking in Lucy's makeover in "Back in Black" and watching Dream Boat with her sisters.
    • Luna Loud is fairly tomboyish in her own right, being a raspy, deep-voiced electric guitar player, with an energetic, rambunctious and somewhat rough personality, in addition to sporting a very short pixie cut. But she isn't completely devoid of a girly side; she regularly wears eyeshadow, earrings and a skirt, likes to apply facial cream to herself, gets giddy over the prospect of Lincoln having a girlfriend, and joins the other sisters in doing certain girly things sometimes. Prior to the third season at least, she also used to act as Lily's caretaker amongst the sisters. This was also Invoked on her in "Really Loud Music", where she was forced to abandon her rockstar aspirations in favor of a pop image simply because the latter is more popular, and she wore incredibly glamorous and pink clothing to boot.
    • Luan is a boisterous girl who loves playing (sometimes destructive) pranks and telling jokes, neither of which are particularly feminine hobbies. Also, she owns a ventriloquist dummy who just so happens to be male that wears boyish clothes. Despite this, Luan wears a skirt, a pink flower on her shirt and shoes, has her ponytail in a scrunchie, and owns a diary. She also joins in on the Squee with her other sisters upon discovering that Lincoln has a girl interested in him. She also had no problem wearing a dress in "Head Poet's Anxiety".
    • Lisa Loud's got Boyish Short Hair, an unkempt appearance, an affinity for physical sciences and experiments involving explosions and poop, and a very stoic and snarky demeanor. Despite being more on the tomboyish side, she does have a soft spot for soap operas, and she is overjoyed (along with the rest of her sisters) at the prospect of a girl having a crush on Lincoln.
    • Ronnie Anne Santiago is also a hardcore tomboy, comparable to Lana and Lynn. She's a rough-and-tumble abrasive girl with Loving Bully-like tendencies (though this trait has wound up being Downplayed) who is turned off by how mushy a lot of typically girly things are and enjoys video games and skateboarding. She also wears pink socks and the same type of girly slip-on shoes that Lori wears, not to mention a pink hair decoration in what is a pretty well-kept ponytail. She is also quite sensitive as revealed in "Save the Date" when she cried over Lincoln insulting her. At the end of the Loudest Mission, she began taking a liking to Dream Boat as well, even if she initially disliked it in the beginning. In addition, she frequently cooks for her mother and has a knack for domestic chores.
    • Ronnie's best friend Sid is seems to be rather tomboyish in her own right from what we've seen of her, but is still somewhat girly. Sid is a soft-centered girl who struggles to tap into her tough side (she tries to get into a fighting mood while wrestling but is distracted by a cute butterfly) and she also has no problem playing princess and sometimes engaging in girly activities with her more feminine little sister, Adelaide. Most of Sid's tomboyish traits mainly exist through her friendship with Ronnie Anne (such as skateboarding, which she liked only after seeing Ronnie do it) more than anything else.
  • The Magic School Bus:
    • Wanda Li can and will keep up with the boys in whatever sport they're playing, is the only girl to never wear a skirt or dress (dressing in a suit when the occasion is formal), and is stubborn beyond belief. She also is unafraid to cry when upset, was devastated at the loss of a beloved pet, wears pink constantly (the aforementioned suit was primarily pink with some red trim) and in the holiday special, was planning on going to see a performance of the Nutcracker ballet and eager about it throughout.
    • To a lesser extent, Dorothy Ann Hudson is very bookish, not to mention somewhat sporty in her own right (though not to Wanda's degree), to the point where, when they're playing baseball, she shows herself a capable slugger. However, her default appearance incorporates Girlish Pigtails and a Magic Skirt (at least in the original 1994 series), and when they do a school play of Jack and the Beanstalk, she plays the role of the princess.
  • Mike from Mike, Lu & Og, despite being a tomboy to Lu's girly-girl, is shown sporting pigtails and wears a skirt. In one episode, she gave herself a Girliness Upgrade, though it was to scare away some abhorrent admirers.
  • My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic:
    • Rainbow Dash's tomboyish-ness is one of her most well-known traits; crude mannered, little interest in her appearance (other than looking "awesome" of course), very interested in sports, etc. "Ponyville Confidential" even shows that she's very touchy about having someone giving her a "hoof-icure". Her girly streak gets longer in Season 6, she isn't above being in a fashion show, wearing a dress at a gala or going to the spa but she draws the line at getting a hooficure. "Applejack's "Day" Off" reveals that Rainbow Dash has been secretly visiting the Ponyville Spa for sometime (her regular appointment at the spa is for a "pampered muzzle massage and indulgent hooficure"). In the same light, her Equestria Girls counterpart wears a skirt over bicycle shorts. Her famous line "20% cooler" was even referring to a dress.
    • Though Applejack is similarly tomboyish, being a hard-working, plain-talking farm girl character with a characteristic disdain for anything "too frou-frou", she displays a similar willingness to indulge in more feminine things, like wearing a fancy dress to the Grand Galloping Gala in season one, or happily going to the spa and getting a massage in season two. The Season 4 episode "Simple Ways" shows she can look very nice in a dress if she wants to. And in the fourth Equestria Girls movie, although she acts exasperated towards Rarity's insistence on designing clothes while camping, she likes the resulting outfit Rarity makes for her. Plus she's the Team Mom.
    • Princess Twilight Sparkle is a deadpan snarker with a confrontational personality, has intellectual interests that aren't feminine compared to most of her friends, serves as the Team Dad to her friends, has a love for adventure and strategic planning, hasn't been shown to care much about her physical appearance, and along with Rainbow Dash and Applejack is one of the most capable combatants, one of the quickest to utilize physical force when necessary, and is certainly the least conventionally feminine out of all the four princesses. However, when she gets excited about something, she will occasionally squeal with excitement in a very girlish way, occasionally obsesses over boys like Flash Sentry, who is in a rock band, and when attending grand events will wear dresses like all the rest of her friends.
    • Scootaloo, the tomboy of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, is still the only one to care enough about her appearance on camera to smile and pose, rather femininely. Also, despite her protests regarding mushy stuff, she's on board with playing Shipper on Deck for her teacher Cheerilee and Big Macintosh. It's even more apparent with her Equestria Girls counterpart, who normally has a very boyish wardrobe and hairstyle, but has no problem wearing a dress for the Fall Formal dance.
    • Apple Bloom is likewise in the middle between Tomboy Scootaloo and Girly Girl Sweetie Belle. She's a farm girl like Applejack and a little 'uncouth' - with no problem belching and getting her hooves dirty. Yet her trademark accessory is a cute pink bow, and she enjoys getting dressed up for the Grand Galloping Gala.
    • The Season 8 episode "What Lies Beneath" makes this a plot point with Smolder, a dragon attending the new School of Friendship. She's easily The Lad-ette of the students and has a very tomboyish voice, but this "What Do They Fear?" Episode shows that she secretly likes tea parties and dresses and is afraid of admitting it. In the Season 9 episode "2, 4, 6, Greaaat", she joins the school's cheerleading squad.
  • The Owl House:
    • Luz Noceda is a gender non-conforming girl with unisex clothing and a pixie cut hair. She interests in video games, sports, action figures, and macabre things. She also has a feminine side, donning skirts and dresses without objection, owning a doll of her fictional idol, gushing over cute critters, being into romantic stories, and being bubbly and sweet. Her outfit in "Enchanting Grom Fright" (a tuxedo top, a pink skirt, purple tights, and boots) combines masculine and feminine traits.
    • Willow's has been mostly surrounded by men, as she has two dads and her closest friends in Hexsquad are Gus and the gender non-conforming Luz, so naturally she would grow up with some masculine characteristics and it shows: she's extremely athletic, as she regularly works out and is into and great at sports such as grudgby and flying derby (the latter being her favorite), doesn't mind getting dirty, can be very aggressive (to the point of murderous intent) when significantly angered and often has Boyish Short Hair, such as in Season 1, the early parts of Season 2, and in the epilogue. But on the girly side, her default personality is demure and sweet, she loves tending to plants, her casual outfits are feminine like Amity's, and grew her hair out long enough to be tied in braids for the second half of Season 2 and even longer in Season 3.
  • Paradise PD: Gina Jabowski is highly ruthless and stubborn, taking down men and creatures three times her size with ease, and frequently hangs out with men rather than women. But she also lives in a pink-themed house, owns a scrapbook with glitter designs, and doesn't mind dressing up.
  • In the Peanuts animated universe, tomboy Peppermint Patty is a fan of (and participates in) figure skating. This is carried over from the comics, where several strips are dedicated to her preparing for a skating competition (only to realize too late that it was a rollerskating competition, and not ice skating). She also has stereotypically feminine insecurities about her appearance and romantic prospects, is the one who most often flirts with Charlie Brown, and was angry when Charlie Brown's father mistook her for a boy and gave her a buzz cut as a result.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Buttercup, who is the Butch to Bubbles' Femme and Blossom's Neither and is known as the toughest fighter of the three and is usually seen playing sports. However, she also fights crime in a dress and she is seen gushing over cute animals with her sisters.
  • The Raccoons: Lisa Raccoon usually wears pants and has her hair in a ponytail, and she likes competing in athletic activities, with her favorite being basketball, but she doesn't enjoy fishing because it involves getting her hands dirty. She's also fond of the color pink (her main outfit alone has plenty of pink in it), likes romantic movies, and isn't afraid to wear dresses in situations that call for it.
  • Recess:
    • Gretchen may be a science nerd who has very little interest in girly things. But one episode shows her making friends with Alpha Bitch Ashley A and engaging in a few feminine past times. Her picture day outfit also has a pink bow as part of it. Her usual outfit consists of a gingham farm-girl dress and her hair in pigtails with ribbons.
    • Spinelli is a Lad-ette through and through, who despises her mother forcing her to try and be girly. However, she shows that — when she's entered in a Beauty Contest against her will — she can look very fine in an evening gown when she wants to. She's also the first of the gang to get a crush, and she actually enjoyed the ballet lessons her mother enrolled her in. Plus her standard outfit involves a red dress and pigtails, albeit with a leather jacket and boots to go with it.
  • Rugrats: Lil DeVille loves playing in the mud and eating worms with her twin brother, Phil, but also plays with dolls, always wears a dress, and gets excited when she thinks she's playing a princess in Angelica's ballet performance.
  • Star vs. the Forces of Evil:
    • Janna's nowhere near as girly as the likes of Star (and outright admits to hate "contributing to gender stereotypes") and takes a liking to macabre things and pranking, yet she wears a skirt and confessed in one episode that her favorite color is pink.
    • There's also Jackie Lynn Thomas. She is very good at sports and skateboarding but also enjoys fashion, romantic fantasy movies, and having romantic dates with Marco.
  • Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!: Nova is a tomboyish and feisty Cute Bruiser, but she actually loves cute things, stuffed animals and even has a tea set in her room. In one episode she makes sure none of her teammates is looking as she hugs a bunch of stuffed toys.
  • Toot & Puddle: Opal is a young Genki Girl who is full of energy, fearless, and always up for an adventure. She also wears a pink dress and enjoys doing ballet.
  • Transformers: Prime:
    • Arcee in this incarnation was created to be more action-oriented and far less conventionally feminine than the more traditional interpretations of the character. This version is tough, serious, snarky, aggressive, and violent when in battle. She also hangs around with male Autobots all the time and gets along well with them. She is mostly blue and silver, with only pink highlights in her colour scheme, and she makes it clear in one episode that she would not like any more pink. While mostly devoid of any conventionally girly traits aside from the aforementioned pink highlights, she does have her moments of feminine behaviour. Like when Jack's rival calls his motorcycle (really Arcee in disguise) ugly and she rages out. She also has a (really well hidden) soft centre behind the cold and violent exterior, and through Character Development does mellow out later in the show's run.
    • Miko, to a greater extent. She's a rambunctious and boisterous Action Girl wannabe (and later becomes one) who hangs around with the Wreckers (as she is also One of the Boys) and is very enthusiastic about joining them in battle and sees it as fun. She is probably the one out of the three human children in Team Prime who conforms to female roles the least. Yet she has a lot of girly traits to balance that out. She has partially pink hair and pink in a lot of her wardrobe. She is a Phoneaholic Teenager and Kind Hearted Cat Lover with a valley girl speech pattern and has a lot of emotional fragility which is shown when she's brought to tears whenever Bulkhead or one of the Wreckers is in peril.
  • The Weekenders:
    • Tish is mostly a brainiac interested in science and math. However, she does have some skirts in her wardrobe and is caught playing dress-up at one point, much to her embarrassment.
    • Lor is a straight-up Lad-ette who loves sports and everything boyish. But some episodes show that she can look very nice with a Girliness Upgrade if she wants to. She also gets an Imagine Spot where her best friend is an elegant black horse. One episode has her and Tish both swooning over a Marlon Brando Expy in an old movie.
  • Winx Club: Aisha. She is a Tomboy Princess that likes dancing, doesn’t mind wearing skirts and dresses, played with dolls when she was little, and finds the Fairy Pets adorable.
