Recap / The Silverscale Arena S 3 E 6 The Blood Splattered Bride

Go To

"When the Wattersons (and their Ultra-Guardian, Zoffy) are invited to a fancy seaside estate from universes across, there's obviously something amiss. The location is creepy, her hubby is a jerk, his agent is showing an uncomfortable interest in Richard, and the men keep vanishing at random. It all may have something to do with a vampiric menace lurking around…as well as a plot to use Richard's true identity for nefarious purposes."

  • Accidental Misnaming: Richard calls Zoffy 'Uncle Sourfy' several times by mistake.
  • Actually Pretty Funny: As the Hunter and the Doctor go running and screaming for the bathroom after taking a bite out of drumstick that Nicole secretly put laxatives in, Zoffy and Koji can't help but chuckle at that display.
  • A-Cup Angst: Nicole wonders if life is telling her to get some work done on her breasts after seeing how big Jessica's are.
  • Adaptation Inspiration: While the main plot of the story is taken from the 1972 film 'The Blood Spattered Bride', a lot of the elements from there are altered drastically, largely because of the Ultraman elements implemented into it. For example, Carmilla goes from a standard vampire to an extraterrestrial bat monster. It also ends much more happily for the lesbian couple.
  • Arranged Marriage: Jessica LeBeau gets forced into one with Andre Perfect since her company suddenly found itself in dire need of funds. Andre happened to have the big bucks they needed.
  • Ascended Extra: Alien Mefilas made a previous brief appearance in the 14th Arena as one of the first creatures that fights the contestants, with him attempting and failing to persuading Bagan to join him. Here he's the one of the main antagonists trying to get Richard to join him in Taking Over The World.
  • Asshole Victim: Andre's friends. There's the Hunter, who was about to rape Carmilla (who was (pretending to be) caught in his bear trap) until Jessica intervened. The Doctor, who used his profession to molest his patients. Of course, there's Andre himself, who not only was friends with the two, but also is an unpleasant Jerkass in every scene he's in.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Nicole is gawking at Jessica's breasts, she fears that Richard may be staring at them too. So when she turns to him, she discovers that he is staring...at the roast chicken dinner on the table.
  • Bear Trap: As Jessica accompanies Andre and the Hunter on their hunting trip, she nearly steps on one, with Andre forcing her to walk that terror off. She later ends up stepping in one herself, with Carmilla prying it off her foot and then snaps it around HER foot as part of a Wounded Gazelle Gambit and then slamming it around the Hunter's head.
  • Bigger Is Better in Bed: Subverted with Andre, who despite boasting how much Jessica loves his dick, she is not impressed with it at all.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Jessica speaks phrases and a few sentences in French. And there's also Richard introducing himself and the family to Jessica with "Merci de nous avoir invités! Maintenant, où est le frigo?", which translates to "Thank you for having us! Now, where's the fridge?"
  • Blatant Lies: To try and preserve the Watterson kids' innocence, Jessica tries to claim that her yelling at Andre and the slap she received from him was just her on the phone with a client...as she is rubbing her face and telling them to play outside. They don't say anything to her, but they aren't fooled.
  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Nicole uses Gumball's "What the what?" phrase when Jessica shows up in her room, completely nude, and when Mefilas uses his Flash Step to deliver multiple blows onto her.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Andre introduces to everyone his friends in the dining room, Gumball snarks that more of the peanut gallery has come. When Darwin asks if Penny would be offended, Gumball concedes that she would be if this was seasons 1 and 2 of his show.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: It is mentioned numerous times that Jessica has a very large rack, with many characters noticing how big they are.
  • Call-Back: When Nicole is flabbergasted by how huge Jessica's breasts are, she remembers how that goat lady from the Arena had similarly sized breasts.
    • As Anais has to stop Gumball from breaking a pot as he believes there might be treasure hidden in it, Anais reminds Gumball that they had a whole episode about this and doesn't want to deal with the real-life consequences of it.
    • As Zoffy gets frustrated over Gumball calling their plan "Operation: Buttcrack", he compares it to training Russo and Blu.
  • Character Catchphrase: Given that Alien Mefilas is in this (albeit disguised as a man named 'Koji' for the majority of it) his "One of my favorite sayings" cathphrase was bound to show up. The only times he subverts this is when he says the phrase "The ends justify the means" is one of his LEAST favorite sayings and that "If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen" isn't one of his favorite sayings, but it works for the current situation.
  • Children Are Innocent: Of the Watterson kids, Darwin has the least amount of knowledge of the sexual euphemisms that Andre spews out, and asks for clarification from his siblings about what he means.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Nicole warns Richard not to buy into the hype that Koji's giving him, especially if it involves the him-being-Zetton thing. But because she doesn't outright say it, Richard thinks she's talking about his cholesterol.
    • When Richard knocks Carmilla out in a panic, Zoffy is horrified with what he's done. Gumball, however, has a different issue on the mind:
      Zoffy: "Oh, this is terrible!"
Gumball: "I know! She's totally naked! My body's already going through puberty 24/7 thanks to Jessica, but this is ridiculous!"
  • Connected All Along: Turns out, the Zoffy of the main 'Ultraman' continuity is the same Zoffy as the one from [1], with the events of that film having taken place before even the first Ultraman series. Apparently, he went through a Jerkass Realization after the events of that film.
  • Continuity Nod: Zoffy's Human Disguise for the stay at Andre's estate is Professor Ohtani.
    • Nicole calling out Kronos' name after seeing Jessica's huge breasts. Richard later calls his name when Gumball tells him he can lay of the thinking in the climax.
  • Cover Innocent Eyes and Ears: Jessica puts her hands on Gumball's ears after Andre calls Mircalla Karnstein proof that you don't stick your dick in crazy.
  • Defeat Equals Explosion: When Zetton absorbs Andre's attack and blasts it back at him, Andre is sent hurtling into the sky before colliding into his mansion, where he both he and the mansion are destroyed in a humongous explosion.
  • Defensive "What?": When Andre mocks Gumball's name for being based on candy, Zoffy slaps him on the back of his head, leading him to shout "OW! WHAT?!".
  • The Door Slams You: As Darwin overhears through a door a heated conversation between Andre and Jessica that ends with a slap, he tries to get his siblings to leave. It's at this moment that Jessica slams to door open, accidentally slamming Darwin into the wall.
    • As the Watterson kids and Zoffy are peeping in on Andre having a conversation with Koji about Richard and Nicole, Andre angrily storms off and he slams the doors open on the way out, unknowingly slamming those doors onto the peepers.
  • Dope Slap: Anais smacks Gumball in the head with her ears when Gumball keeps trying to take her detective role.
    • Zoffy does this to Andre after he mocks Gumball's name after a candy. He claims that there was a mosquito on his head.
  • Face Palm: Zoffy has this reaction several times to the antics the male Wattersons perform, from Richard making a fool out of himself by getting into a tug-of-war for a steak with a horde of dogs, Gumball calling the scene at Andre's dinner party a 'total baguette' while attempting to swear in French, to finally when Richard's reasoning for not joining Mefilas boils down to "Not wanting to get a job".
    • Anais has this reaction when Gumball comes to the conclusion that Andre is planning on committing a 'marriage-cide'.
    • As Nicole is trying to warn Richard not to fall for Koji's hyping of him, especially if it involves him being Zetton. But since she doesn't say that outright, he thinks she's talking about his cholesterol, leading to her doing this as she has to specify it to him.
    • Anais does this when Darwin unironically believes that someone named Mefilas sounds like a nice guy and wants to hear him out. She later has this reaction to Darwin's suggestion of how to deal with Mefilas is to politely ask him to leave.
  • Failed Attempt at Drama: After Gumball comes to the conclusion that Andre is trying to pull a 'marriage-cide', Gumball pulls out a random pipe and smokes it as he proclaims that as a detective, he's going to solve this case, only to choke on the bubbles coming from the pipe mid-sentence.
  • Faint in Shock: All the sudden bloodlust she gets after seeing the Hunter attempt to rape Carmilla and slicing the Hunter's neck open with the dagger in her rage causes her to faint.
  • Fan Disservice: Jessica is introduced laying on her bed in the nude, and covered in bruises from her 'husband' beating her when she didn't moan when he wanted her to during sex.
  • Flirtatious Smack on the Ass: Andre gives Jessica one as before they take their seats for Andre's dinner party.
  • Freudian Slip: As Nicole is congratulating Richard for not going along with Mefilas' plan, she lets her fear of a potential dynamic switch between them slip out for a moment.
Richard: "Really? You're not mad at me? I thought you got upset everytime I brought up the 'Z-word'."
Nicole: "Only if you let it go to your head and not let ME be the powerhouse...I mean...I'm just glad you didn't get duped."
  • Funbag Airbag: When Jessica accidentally bumps into Nicole, Nicole gets nearly her whole head enveloped into Jessica's breasts, causing the mouse anthro to have to pull her out.
  • Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!: When Richard attacks Carmilla with a metal detector, mistaking her for a zombie, Zoffy asks if he's gone insane and slaps him several times to get him to snap out of his panic.
  • Groin Attack: When Andre gets distracted watching Carmilla sucking his energy out of him, Jessica uses the opportunity to bash him in the head and then stomps on his balls while he's down.
  • Hand-or-Object Underwear: Upon noticing that the unconscious Carmilla is naked, Gumball tries to cover her private areas with some sand from the beach.
  • Hate Sink: Andre Perfect. It's made as early as his first scene that he is perfectly willing to beat Jessica if she doesn't do what he wants her to do, as well as abhorrent views on women in general. In addition, he has an enormously undeserved ego. By the climax he makes it clear that he will kill the Watterson kids for trashing his mansion (and for blowing up one of his cars, but he doesn't know that). Then, there's what happens when Richard suffers a Disney Death at Mefilas' hands. While Mefilas allows the Watterson kids to pelt him with rocks, Andre takes the moment to boast about how they'll be joining Richard soon. No wonder Gumball wants to kick his ass so badly.
Gumball: "Just know I call first dibs on kicking his teeth in. It's like he OOZES sleaze! Like he thinks nobody can touch him!"
  • Hidden Depths: Richard introduces himself and his family to Jessica by speaking a sentence in French, much to the shock of the rest of the Watterson family. He learned the language to keep up with the soap operas on Channel 7.
  • I'm Standing Right Here: As Darwin theorizes that Carmilla is a vampire, Anais remembers hearing that name in a book, and ponders on it for a moment, before dismissing it and saying that would give him too much credit, leading to Darwin reminding her that he's standing right here.
  • In Love with Your Carnage: Jessica, after witnessing Zetton completely destroy Andre in their fight, immediately asks Nicole if she would be interested in a polygamic relationship.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: As the Watterson kids plan on how to deal with Carmilla and Andre, Darwin takes a moment to appreciate how they can plan things out without the problem of video cameras. Gumball then comments on the drone listening in on their conversation, which then flies off, leading the kids to chase after it.
  • Join or Die: Mefilas gives Richard/Zetton an ultimatum where if he doesn't help Mefilas in his conquest, then he will have to get rid of him. Richard chooses not to join him, leading to a fight between them.
  • Just Here for the Free Snacks: Richard becomes convinced that the mysterious invitation that the family receives is legit when it mentions having good food.
  • Killed Offscreen: Sometime after the Doctor tells Andre that Carmilla and Jessica plan to kill him, when we next see him, Carmilla manages to catch up to him and is feasting on his body.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: When Richard survives Mefilas' attack and transforms into Zetton, Mefilas realizes that his plan to kill him has failed and digitizes out of the beach that they were fighting at.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Jessica and Carmilla begin to intensely make out near the end of the story, Gumball says to cut to the main credits, thinking he's gone through puberty 30 times by now.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Jessica, being the only character in this story that has no ties to anything Ultraman related, is left utterly confused in the climax when it seems like everyone else has some form of history with each other.
  • Lousy Lovers Are Losers: Among Andre's many problems, he's reportedly lousy in the sack according to Jessica, despite having a very high sex drive.
  • Marshmallow Hell: After Nicole has a woman to woman conversation with Jessica about their husbands, Jessica thanks Nicole for the talk by hugging her, which gives Nicole a face-full of breasts.
    • As Jessica goes to cover his ears with her hands, her breasts end up crushing Gumball's head. Not that Gumball minds too much.
  • Mêlée à Trois: The climax has Mefilas and Andre, who want to rule over the universes and kill Richard/Zetton so they have no major opposition in their way, Carmilla, who wants to kill all the men, including Richard/Zetton, due to previous horrid experiences with men in her life, and him, his family, and Jessica, who has to stop them all, with Jessica trying to convince Carmilla not to kill Richard/Zetton.
  • Modesty Bedsheet: When Jessica breaks from Carmilla's influence and comes to her senses after Nicole kicks Carmilla into the bed, she uses the sheets to cover up her nude frame.
  • Mr. Exposition: Zoffy, in the first chapter, explains the history of Richard/Zetton and his role involving him to the Wattersons, which is taken from Shin Ultraman. This also gets those unfamiliar with the Ultra Series up to speed.
  • Mythology Gag: As Carmilla prepares to finish off the Hunter, she considers blowing his head apart with his shotgun, a nod to how the Hunter was killed in the original movie.
  • Naked on Arrival: When the Watterson kids are at the beach, Gumball blows down on a snorkel that Zoffy nearly tripped on, causing Carmilla to emerge out of the sand with her snorkel falling off, and she's wearing nothing else.
  • No Name Given: Andre's friends the Doctor and the Hunter are not named.
  • Noodle Incident: As Nicole is expressing gratitude to Koji for inviting her family, she remarks that most families do everything they can to keep her family out of the festivities, recalling "That Jacobs Family wasn't fooling around when they caught us taking all the Crescent Rolls..."
    • When Nicole and Jessica go jogging, Nicole says she'll go easy on her, as the last person she went on a jog with got buried in a mountain of dust.
  • Nosebleed: Gumball gets one after Jessica's breasts crush his head as she covers his ears to protect him from Andre's foul language.
  • Not Me This Time: After Carmilla watches one of Andre's cars suddenly explode thanks to Darwin setting it on fire, she panics for a moment before saying this word-for-word as she leaves Andre's estate.
  • One-Word Vocabulary: Most of the Hunter's dialogue is him yelling the phrase "OPEN SEASON!".
  • Operation: [Blank]: The name Gumball gives for their plan for recording Koji's conversation is called "Operation: Buttcrack". Zoffy questions if they could have picked a better name for it.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: Instead of being a standard vampire, like she was in the original film, Carmilla is a member of the Alien Kamiran species.
  • The Peeping Tom: The Doctor masturbates while he watches Jessica and Carmilla have sex. This peep show also allows him to overhear their plans to kill Andre, and runs off to warn him.
  • Porn with Plot: This story is a retelling of an early 70's horror film, with several short lewd scenes sprinkled in between there.
  • Post-Climax Confrontation: After Richard/Zetton has dealt with the threats Mefilas and Andre, Carmilla makes one final attempt to kill him since she still hates all men.
  • Potty Emergency: When Nicole notices that the Hunter and the Doctor plan on launching themselves onto Jessica and Carmilla, she diverts their attention by giving them her drumstick, claiming that she's not hungry. Upon taking a bite of it she says that she hopes they enjoy the laxatives her husband takes that she put in it. As soon as she mentions that, the two feel a really sudden need to use the bathroom.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: Carmilla's preferred weapon is a dagger which she has used to kill many men in the past, so much so that her portrait has her holding the dagger with it drenched in blood. When Andre tries to get rid of it, it keeps showing back up in unusual places. And when Carmilla gives Jessica the dagger, she uses it to land a mortal blow on the Hunter.
  • Punk in the Trunk: As Nicole and Jessica return from their jog, they catch Nicole's kids trying to slam an unconscious Jessica into the trunk of their car.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Just as Andre is about to announce his true intentions for the dinner party, Carmilla has had enough and uses it to call out almost every man for their actions, including Gumball, who hasn't even done anything.
Andre: "Nothing ties the knot better than a good old fashioned org-"
Carmilla: " (SLAM) ENOUGH! I've heard enough! What filth you are, daring to lay your hands upon her in such a shameful way! (...) I've been living near these grounds for long enough to hear every word you men have been saying and it sickens me! You, the hunter, always slaughtering those around him, no regard to who else gets hurt! (...) YOU! The Doctor! Always peering into his patients with no real knowledge of medical practice! I caught him trying to lay his hands on another woman's sacred areas on the pretense of a 'cavity check'."
    Jessica: "Isn't that dentistry?"
Carmilla: "Exactly! The rabbit! A gluttonous hog who thinks only with his stomach and not his head!"
Richard: "I said I was sorry!" (eats an entire turkey and chokes on the utensils he accidentally swallowed)
Gumball: "Kinda proving her point, dad.
Carmilla: "And you! Boys! You shall grow up into horrible smarmy pigs...except maybe (Darwin). I...I don't know what to say, But for you (points to Andre) There is nothing to be said. You should sleep with one eye open."
  • Rememberthe New Guy: Zoffy is someone that the whole Watterson family already has some history with in the story, even though this is his debut in the series. Richard's true identity as Zetton (a monster that Zoffy created) might have something to do with it, ever since the reveal during Season 2.
  • The Reveal: Two of them in Chapter 5: The first is that Carmilla is a member of the Kamira Seijin, also known as the Alien Carmilla, the species that Draculas came from. The second is that Koji Kato is actually Alien Mefilas in a human disguise, who set up the wedding to lure Richard/Zetton to him and convince him to join him and rule the universe together.
  • Revenge Against Men: As Camilla makes very clear, she REALLY hates men with a passion. And when Jessica and Carmilla have a conversation to get to know each other better, she explains why: In the past, every woman she fell for was killed by the men that owed them once they had no further use for them, only wanting them for their bodies. Since then, she believes that men are only capable of ruining everything they touch, and wants to kill them to protect the women from the fate her lovers faced. This also naturally includes Richard, who is actually a good man despite being a fat, lazy slob. Jessica tries to convince her that Richard's not like the other men Carmilla's faced, but she won't listen. At least, initially.
  • Running Gag: Gumball saying he's going through puberty anytime something sensual happens with Jessica or Carmilla whenever he's near them.
  • Sand In My Eyes: After Andre shocks Richard with several volts sending him across the shore, Nicole prevents him from killing Richard by throwing a ball of sand into his eyes.
  • Shout-Out: The name of the first chapter, "Keeping up with the Wattersons".
    • When Andre complains to Jessica about his deals with movie studios falling through, he mentions that he got pulled out of a second deal with ZigZag Studios due to Creative Differences.
    • As Anais is holding Gumball by the tail to stop him from smashing another pot, he tries to convince her that treasure might be in them, as it happens in games.
    • While Richard is trying to figure out how to transform into Zetton, he shouts several phrases associated with other heroes, such as "Go web!", "Up, up, and away!", and "Something, something, [[Shazam!!".
    • After Zetton manages to get Carmilla down to her knees in their fight, Gumball cheers "Dad wins! Flawless Victory!"
  • Single-Stroke Battle: The fight between Zetton and Carmilla ends when the two run at each other, Zetton through the air and Carmilla with her claws extended. And when the attacks connect, they land on opposite sides and stand still for a second before the hits register. While Zetton gets a cut on his arm, Carmilla falls down to one knee, having received a gash across her chest. Fortunately, the attack didn't kill her.
  • Slashed Throat: Seeing how the Hunter is about to rape the (seemingly) trapped Carmilla, Jessica gets furious and slashes the dagger randomly, with one of the slashes cutting open his neck.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Andre boasts to the Wattersons that he is Neo-Earth's #1 Actor and Superstar. But, from what little we learn about his 'acting' career, he seems to either only get bit roles, or he gets rejected outright.
  • Spoof Aesop: After Zetton kills Andre, Gumball comes to the conclusion that murder really does solve everyone's problems. Anais points out how that's a terrible lesson for him to take away from this.
  • The Stinger: As the story ends on Jessica and Carmilla embracing in a hot tub and looking up to the stars, the final scene has an unlucky diver get torn apart by creatures from the wreck of a ship that crashed into the watery depths of a planet from the Lylat System.
  • Suicide Dare: As Carmilla carries Jessica out of the dinner party bridal style to their room, she tells everyone that they'll only come out when the men throw themselves onto the jagged cliffside rocks.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Zoffy finds himself repeatedly exasperated by antics that the Watterson men (usually Gumball) perform during their stay at Andre's estate.
  • There Are No Therapists: As Carmilla falls to her knees feeling regret about how it feels like every member of her species is destined to be killers, Zoffy comments that he can see real regret and pain from her. When Anais asks him if there's no space-therapists, Zoffy just sighs, all but confirming it. Fortunately, it's mentioned that Carmilla's been taking therapy about her issues with men in the epilogue.
  • This Cannot Be!: As Mefilas notices something glowing in the spot of the ocean where he thought he killed Richard, with distinct beeping noises coming out, realizes what's happening and slowly states "Wait...that couldn't have been..."
  • This Isfor Emphasis Bitch: As Andre gloats about how everyone will be joining the assumed dead Richard soon, he then boasts "Hail me, bitches!".
  • This Is Gonna Suck: Zoffy can tell that whatever happens during the stay is going to suck just by looking at the inner sadness in Jessica's eyes and the arrogance in Andre's.
  • This Is Unforgivable!: After it looks like Mefilas has killed Richard, Zoffy tells Mefilas that his sins are unforgivable as he struggles to get up.
  • This Means War!: When Nicole kicks Mefilas in the head and actually causes him to bleed, he yells out "THIS MEANS WAR!" and stops holding back on using his powers on her and Zoffy.
  • The Un-Reveal: To help Carmilla give up her hatred of men, Zetton has a chat with her where she uses echolocation noises, and Zetton uses beeping noises while making hand gestures to illustrate what he was saying. Whatever it was he said was profound enough to convince Carmilla that not all men are bad and to talk with Jessica about starting over with her.
  • [Verb] This!: As Nicole is busy fighting Mefilas, Andre shouts "EAT THIS!" before firing several volts into her back as she was prepping another attack.
  • Victoria's Secret Compartment: Among the weird places that Mircalla/Carmilla's dagger shows up after Andre's attempts of getting rid of it, one of them happens to be in between Jessica's breasts.
  • We Can Rule Together: As Mefilas reveals that the wedding between Andre and Jessica was just a ploy to get to Richard/Zetton, he tries to convince him to join him in Taking Over The World by promising to give him everything he wants in exchange for his help and gives him time to think it over. Richard ultimately declines because it sounds like too much work for him.
  • Wham Line: Twice in the fifth chapter:
    • The first is when Jessica and Carmilla are having a conversation to get to know each other better, where Carmilla decides to share a secret to Jessica about her origins:
Carmilla: "Let me let you in on a secret. I'm not of this world."
    • And the second is when "Koji" begins to make his true intentions with Richards known to him:
Koji Kato: "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. One of my favorite Earth sayings. I think it's time we talked. Of why I invited you all here. Of why I've allowed this wedding to even start. Or why I let a fool like Andre get as far as he did. I feel safe talking to you about this because...we're all aliens here, aren't we?"
  • Wingding Eyes: After Richard knocks Carmilla unconscious with his metal detector, she gets swirls in her eyes.
  • Would Hurt a Child: The Hunter would have most likely shot at the Watterson family had it not been for Nicole kicking a brick into his face.
    • By the time of the climax, Andre has gotten so fed up with the Watterson kids constantly ransacking his place (and Darwin secretly blowing up one of his cars), that he makes it clear that he's going to kill them with his new powers.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: Upon seeing how horribly Andre has been treating his wife Jessica, Gumball believes that Andre is planning to murder her to collect her inheritance and plans on stopping it before it happens. While he does plan on eventually killing her, it's only when he finds out from the Doctor that she effectively dumped him for Carmilla and they planned on murdering him.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: After prying Jessica from a bear trap she stepped on, she snaps it around her foot so that while the Hunter is distracted with her, Jessica can sneak up on and kill him with the dagger Carmilla gave her.
  • Wrong-Name Outburst: As Richard is smacking Carmilla with his metal detector, Zoffy, while trying to calm him down, panics and accidentally calls him Zetton, but quickly corrects himself and calls him Richard.
  • Year Inside, Hour Outside: Although the Wattersons spend several days at Andre's estate, the narration mentions that time seems to move slower in Elmore than on Neo-Earth.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: It's made clear that Koji Kato/Mefilas only gave Andre everything he wanted so that he could use him for a plan to lure Richard aka Zetton to him. When he not only fails to convince him to join his side, but also killing him before he could transform into Zetton, he cuts his losses and digitizes out of the place, leaving Andre to deal with Zetton.
  • You Monster!: Nicole calls Mefilas a bastard when it seems like he killed Richard.
