This page features the Masters and their minions as well as the Adventure-exclusive Masters and other characters within the world of Minion Masters. Though due to the ever-growing amount of minions, only the Masters are indiviudally named while the minions are grouped together in their factions.

Masters
The playable Masters from the base game. Except for Stormbringer, all have to be bought via the in-game currency. Apep
The god of the Slither. He can attack multible enemies. His perks give him free cards as well as a Totem that absorbes the damage for him.
- Physical God: Is referred to as "the Serpent God".Apep: "Apep demandss worship!"
- Pride: Comes with being a Physical God.
- Snake People: Though a lot more snake than people, he does have two arms and sits upright.
- Sssssnake Talk: Though he doesn't accent the sibilant sounds as much as other Snake People.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Lore-wise. Two of his skins reference him being thrown into a volcano and surviving.
Diona
- Action Girl: Naturally, given that she is an accomplished hunter.
- Antiquated Linguistics: Played with. While she initially spoke that way in the short story "Shadows in Pinewood", she dropped it later on.
- Arch-Enemy: Is on the hunt for Bahra, the Witchwolf.
- Badass Normal: Is an accomplished hunter without any special powers.
- Enemy Mine: If you play as Diona with Bahra, the Witchwolf in your deck.
- Gunslinger: Fights with two gun-sized crossbows.
- Hunter of Monsters: Has hunted a lot of foul creatures and is now hunting Bahra, the Witchwolf.
- Non-Human Sidekick: Her dog Ruffles.
King Puff
A powerful puff dressed as a king who loves to throw old pans and pieces of food at his opponents. His perks revolve around controlling the bridges.
- Big Anime Eyes: Like with all puffs, his eyes take up quite a lot of space on his body.
- Edible Ammunition: Among the things he throws at minions are pieces of cake as well as cheese.
- Fake Aristocrat: Implied. It's stated that it is unknown why he dresses as a king suggesting the Puffs don't actually have a king.
Milloween
- Cain and Abel: The Able to Morellia's Cain
- Hopeless Suitor: She has a crush on King Puff. King Puff does not care.
- Pointy Ears: Naturally, given she is a Crystal Elf.
Mordar
- An Arm and a Leg: Invoked when playing an expensive minion.Mordar: "This cost me an arm and a leg. Luckily, they weren't mine! Hahahaha!"
- Bad Boss: Calls his minions "[his] incompetent underlings"
- Ghost Pirate: One of his skins.
- Necromancer: Thanks to his tombstone, he immediately resurrects a minion after dying.
- Our Liches Are Different: Most Liches are, well, walking corpses. Mordar is a full-on skeleton.
- Sanity Slippage: Is stated to have slowly gone mad after getting defeated by a dragon.
- Subbing for Santa: He has a Santa skin.
- The Undead: Is a walking skeleton.
Morellia
- Cain and Abel: The Cain to Milloween's Able.
- Charm Person: Thanks to her magic, she can seduce even those with her touch who know about it
- Even Evil Has Standards: Milloween's story in the "Saving Jadespark Jungle"-adventure reveals that she doesn't associate with demons.
- It's All About Me: Has a very high opinion of herself.
- Necromancer: Thanks to her Book of the Undead, she can summon skeletons.
- Our Liches Are Different: Despite being "The Lich Queen", she doesn't look undead at all.
- Pointy Ears: While hidden behind her hair, she is confirmed to have them.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: Queen of the Cursed Lands. Like all Masters, she will attack any enemy coming close to her. She can also rip out the souls of her enemies to heal herself and give minion spirits to increase their health.
- Stripperiffic: Some skins more than others. Her standard skin certainly doesn't leave much left for the imagination. Especially not above her waistline. Lampshaded in the Minion Masters short story "The Lich Queen".
- That Man Is Dead: When the captured elf Errolith invokes We Used to Be Friends, she responds that her old self is dead and only Morellia remains
- Visionary Villain: Seeks to save the world from a greater evil by uniting all factions under her...in her undead army.
- We Used to Be Friends: Invoked by the elf Errolith after he was brought before her
R3-KT
- Achilles' Heel: Once he steps off his tower, R3 is completely dependend on his minions to keep his tower safe. The enemy Master could easily send in high-damage units across the bridge opposit to the one R3 comes across and then just let him fire on his Tower while his minions take care of R3's Tower.
- Especially dangerous if the enemy master has a Voidborne deck or a deck centered around the Living Statures.
- Artificial Intelligence: Is, in fact, a robot.
- Doppelgänger Attack: Can create clones of themself. While not as strong has him, they aren't exactly harmless, either.
- Gunslinger: Fights with two pistoles.
- Villain No Longer Idle: Non-villainous example. R3 can enter the arena to fight after reaching his first perk.
Ratbo
- BFG: His weapon is a machine gun.
- Gadgeteer Genius: If his gun is anything to go by. He can be seen working on it while waiting for a round to start.
- Hunter of Monsters: One of his skins reveals this to be a hobby of his.
- More Dakka: Literally the name of his second Perk.
Ravager
- Achilles' Heel: Range minions. He is close-combat only.
- Goes double for flying ranged minion. Not even his ally Brutus can attack those without the spell "Unholy Ground".
- The Dreaded: It's said that even other Shars'Rakk princes fear and stay away from Void Ripper Ravager.
- Genocide from the Inside: Was the Apex Predator of his planet. But due to his single minded obsession with hunting, he ended up killing every living thing on his planet.
- Multi-Armed and Dangerous: He has 4 arms and used to be the apex predator of his home planet even killing every other living thing on it.
Settsu
- Action Girl: Her first Perk allows her to enter the arena.
- Badass Normal: Is a human wearing an exo-suit.
- BFG: Her weapon is one big gun.
- Blood Knight: An ex-soldier who still keeps on fighting for some mysterious end.
- Villain No Longer Idle: Non-villainous example. After reaching her first perk, she can enter the arena to fight herself.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: She left the army because she got sick of all the rules.
Stormbringer
- Always Accurate Attack: He never misses a shot.
- Elemental Weapon: Shoots Lightning bolts from his bow.
- Narcissist: He likes to spend his time taking selfies and writing fan mail...to himself...
Valorian
- BFS: He wields a giant sword. With one hand.
- Big Good: Lore-wise. He has dedicated himself to fight the Voidborne forces. He is also the Leader of the Chapel of Light.
- Combat Medic: His second Perk allows him to heal his minions.
- Enemy Mine: If he has Voidborne in his deck
- He Who Fights Monsters: Has a special hatred for the Voidborne.
- High Priest: Is the leader of the Chapel of Light.
- Religious Bruiser: Leads of the Chapel of Light which fights against the Voidborne. He himself carries a sword. Also, he's a Master using White Magic.
- Unholy Holy Sword: It's implied that his sword is Aera, a Talking Weapon formerly owned by Karkoffs, a Voidborne warlock.
- White Magic: Uses it to fly into the arena to attack enemies as well as to heal his minions.
Volco
- Achilles' Heel: Flying minions. He can't hit those.
- Blinded by Rage: He's slowly becoming this due to the anger stored in his magical weapon.
- Blood Knight:Volco: Good choice. Let's go crack some skulls.
- Elemental Weapon: His hammer (or axe, depending on the skin).
- Kill It with Fire: Can set a bridge alight with his second perk, killing minions that cross it.
- Legendary Weapon: His hammer (or axe, depending on the skin) is considered to be that within the lore of the game.
- Red Is Violent: See Blood Knight.
Tronveir the Runeshaper
- The Big Guy: Like all male Stoutheart, he is quite tall and muscular.
- Elemental Powers: Runewyrd gives Tronveir power over ice and wind, albeit only to a limited degree.
- Master of One Magic: Tronveir is a master of Runewyrd, a Runic Magic only the Stoutheart can use.
- Necromancer: Runewyrd allows Tronveir to call forth the spirits of dead Stoutheart warriors.
- Runic Magic: He is a master of Runewyrd, a kind of magic which allows him to imbue stones with Elemental Powers or Necromancy by carving magical runes into them.
Factions
Each minion in Minion Masters belongs to a faction. General
- Elite Mooks: The minions with names.
- Staying Alive: While not so much for the hordes of nameless minions, some minions have names implying they are individuals. Yet even when they die right in front of you, most will be back once you draw and play their cards again.
- Undying Loyalty: To their Master. Unless they are possessed by a Ghost, they will literally die for you. Over and over again.
Accursed
A faction consisting of undead sceletons, ghosts, vampires and werewolfs with the two Masters associated with them being liches.
- Dem Bones: Sceletons and sceleton-related spells make up almost half of all cards of the faction. Further, one of the two masters associated with this faction, Mordar, is himself a sceleton-lich. Even of the cards that aren't sceletons themself, a few, such as Ghast, can still summon little sceletons.
- Harmless Freezing: Currently, three minions of this faction can give the Frozen-status effect to enemy minions. These are the Frostfang Familiar, which gives a cold aura around the minion it gave the Vampiric-effect that freezes all coming close to it, Nezara, the Cold Countess, a vampire who can do a Ground Pound which freezes enemy minions around her and Frostbearer who starts frozen and walks around with a freezing aura that freezes anyone first entering the area of effect of the aura.
- Necromancer: The minion Rendrath the Deathless causes all non-mythic minions he hits to rise again under his Master's control with half health and damage after a short period of time. The Ghast meanwhile can summon a skeleton where a minion died as long as it was close to him.
- Our Ghosts Are Different: Currently, there are three ghost minions in the game: The Ghost which possesses enemy minions turning them to your side, the Haunting Hugger, who also possesses enemies but only damages them until they die, and the Frostfang Familiar, a vampire-ghost that gives the Vampiric-effect to friendly minions as well as a cold aura around them for a short time after giving the Vampiric-effect. There is also the Ghost Turret which, rather than being a ghost itself, has spiteful ghosts as ammunition.
- Our Liches Are Different: The masters associated with this faction are Mordar and Morellia. The former is a skeleton while the latter doesn't look undead at all.
- Our Vampires Are Different: Currently, there are two vampires in the game: Frostfang Familiar, a vampire-ghost that gives the Vampiric-effect to friendly minions as well as a cold aura around them for a short time after giving the Vampiric-effect, as well as Nezara, the Cold Countess, a vampire, of course with the "Vampiric"-effect, who can do a Ground Pound which freezes enemy minions around her.
- Our Werewolves Are Different: Minions which were given Lycanthropy, a status effect of the Accursed-faction, transform into werewolves after their health drops to or below 50%, regardless of the time of day in the arena. Other cards also allow you to summon werewolves directly without a transformation. And then, there is Bahra, the Witchwolf.
- The Undead: The faction includes Ghost, Ghouls, Skeletons, Vampires and Werewolfs. Not to mention Morellia's pet, Nyrvir the Fallen.
Crystal Elf
A faction consisting of elves that wield crystal magic and golems brought to life by crystal magic.
- Dual Wielding: The Spelldancer, the Veilstalker and the Wardancers each fight with two elven blades.
- Golem: They are brought to life by elven magic but look rather polished like they are wearing armor.
- Our Elves Are Different: Only female elves can get Mana Surge. They also give you Mana Frost preventing your mana from growing for a short time.
- Pointy Ears: The female ones for sure. We don't ever see the male elves without their helmets.
Empyrean
The humans of this world. Their warriors serve the Chapel of Light.
- Badass Cape: Many high-ranking Empyrean's like High Marshal Rystal or Caeleth Dawnhammer fight wearing a cape adding to their imposing stature.
- Combat Medic: The Priestess primarily heals other minions.
- Our Humans Are Different: While some are just normal dudes with medival armor and weapons, others can use White Magic.
- White Magic: The higher-cost Empyrean minions can use this.
Outlander
A group of masked extraterrestrials who crahed on the world of Minion Masters. They wield advanced technology.
- The Big Guy: Siege Imperator Ruby
- Fake Aristocrat: Despite having the word "Imperator" (meaning "Emperor") in its name, Siege Imperator Ruby is, in fact, no emperor.
- Long-Range Fighter: The faction solely consists out of only ranged units
- Technologically Advanced Foe: They have high-tech weapons in a fantasy world.
Puff
The smallest of the factions. They always spawn close to the Master Tower.
- Actual Pacifist: Except for the Wizard Puff, the Puffs don't fight.
- Big Anime Eyes: Their eyes take up quite a lot of space on their tiny body's.
- Series Mascot: Most emotes depict them in various ways. The shortcut on the desktop is also a Mana Puff. Lastly, there is also the Mana Puff Plushie.
- Squishy Wizard: Except for the Wizard Puff, they all have useful abilities as long as they are on the bridge such as giving an extra mana every few seconds, giving a shield to all ground minions every few seconds or healing you. They can, however, all be one-shotted by every minion that does damage.
Scrat
Small, rat-like creatures with an affinity for making weapons and machines out of scraps and junk.
- The Big Guy: The Wreckinator 9000.
- Cannon Fodder: The regular scrats are this. They are cheap with low health and damage but come in groups.
- Dual Wielding: The Propeller Scrats fight with two scrat-swords.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Many scrats have build impressive machines from literal scrap.
- One-Hit Kill: If a minion has 100 or less health, the Sniper Scrat can one-shot them.
- Sniper Rifle: The only faction to use them. They are usually made out of scraps.
- Stealth Expert: Styx is a sniper who can literally go invisible while aiming.
Slither
Apep's servants who are big into slavery.
- Acid Attack: Akinlep's Gong of Pestilence attack by spitting poison at enemy minions.
- Barefoot Captives: The Slitherbound have no shoes.
- Battle Thralls: The Slitherbound are the infantry of the Slither Lords.
- The Big Guy: The Living Statues and Aknilep's Gong of Pestilence.
- Inexplicably Identical Individuals: All Slitherbound look the same.
- Living Statue: There are currently three types: Living Statue, Impatiant Statue and the Idol of Sacrifice.
- Shirtless Captives: The Slitherbound are all male and topless.
- Slave Collar: The Slitherbound come in pairs, bound via a chain linked at their slave collars.
- Slave Mooks: The Slitherbound.
- Theory Tunnel Vision: A literal example. The Living Statues go straight for buildings, including the enemy Master Tower, ignoring every minion without the ability "Taunt".
- Universal Poison: The Slither have a singular poison they all use.
- Whip of Dominance: Herald Ah'mun. Can also be summoned via the spell "Lash of Ah'mun".
- Working on the Chain Gang: The Slitherbound are chained together.
Stoutheart
Muscular humans and animals from the snowy and mountainous north.
- Action Girl: Highland Huntress is this.
- Beast of Battle: Some Stoutheart are this.
- Brutish Character, Brutish Weapon: The human Stouthearts are tall and muscular. Most of them fight with giant axes.
- The Big Guy: Rimghall.
- Dual Wielding: Highland Huntress and Scott The Sensitive Savage both fight with two battle axes while Fergus' weapong of choice are two cups with blades attached to them.
- Grim Up North: They live in snowy mountains.
- Harmless Freezing: A number of Stoutheart spells as well as Chief Ice Breaker Bolf can freeze minions. The spells result in ground minions caught in a certain area to be frozen, some working only on enemy minions while others only work on friendly minions. Bolf, meanwhile, freezes every minion he strikes with his hammer.
- Improbable Weapon User: Fergus' weapons are cups with blades attached to them.
- National Weapon: Most human Stouthearts fight with axes.
- The Power of Friendship: Spawning a Stoutheart next to a Stoutheart with the ability "Revelry" will give the latter a buff.
- Runic Magic: A few Stouthearts can use Runewyrd, a kind of magic unique to them which allows them to imbue rocks with ice magic, wind magic or Necromancy for a short period of time by carving mystical runes into them.
- The Smurfette Principle: Highland Huntress is the only female Stoutheart. Justifyed as she is also the first.
Voidborne
Brutal invaders from another realm. They serve as the demons in the world of Minion Masters.
- The Big Guy: The Colossus and Mal'dred, Prince of Nightmares.
- BFS: The Cleaver and Crakuhl, the Doom Cleaver.
- Evil Sorcerer: Karkoffs, a Voidborne warlock who served Commander Azali until Caleth Dawnhammer killed him.
- Evil Weapon: Aera, the staff of the Voidborne warlock Karkoffs, activly tries to corrupt those who take it.
- Invisibility: The Shadow Welp, the Assassin and the Shadowfork. The latter can give invisibility to other Voidborne by killing an enemy minion.
- Our Demons Are Different: While most Voidborne have a high damage output, they are far from the supernatural threat demons are most commonly potrayed as in most other works.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: A handful of them are royalty. Given the nature of the game, they will fight any enemy in range like every other minion.
- Succubi and Incubi: The Shars'Rakk-Twins. One is a ranged Succubi minion that teleports backwards when hit by a melee attack and the other is a melee Inccubus minion that teleports forwards to anyone who hits it with a ranged attack in a certain radius (unless it's a flying minion).
- Talking Weapon: Aera, the staff of the Voidborne wizard Karkoffs
- Teleportation: Shars'Rakk magic gives the ability to teleport. A number of Voidborne can teleport such as The Shars'Rakk-Twins, the Hellbats and the spell "Netherstep" which teleports all non-mythic ground minions in a small area closer to the enemy Master Tower.
- A'Zog, Voidfiend of Shars'Rakk can teleport towards any direction performing a Swipe Attack once the teleport is completed.
- The Shadowfork teleports any minion he gives Invisibility.
- Was Once a Man: Some used to be humans corrupted by dark magic like the warlock Karkoffs
Zen-Chi
The peaceful inhabitants of Jadespark Jungle.
- The Big Guy: The Golems. Also, Jahun, Keeper of Jadespark Jungle
- Golem: The golems are multiple boulders linked together rather than beings of clay. They also have moss and flowers growing on them.
- In Harmony with Nature: They live in and protect the Jadespark Jungle.
- Intelligent Primate: The Zen-Chi have a lot of intelligent monkeys that dress like East Asian monks.
- Mischief-Making Monkey: The Battle Shi-Hou is said to be a big fan of silly, mischievous and deceitful conduct.
- The Power of Friendship: Simply playing a Zen-Chi card grants Zen-Chi Flow to any minion on the hand with that ability.
- Shock and Awe: A number of Zen-Chi minions use lightning.
- Teleportation: Xiao Long and Jing Long have the ability to teleport into another realm for a short time when the enemy master or their own master plays a spell respectively.
Other:
The Announcer
The Announcer who announces every game and provides the occasional commentary.
- He Who Must Not Be Seen: Always the voice in the background, never in front of the camera.
- Jerkass Has a Point: When a large group of Minions is killed, he sometimes says that it's called AOE and that instead of whining about it, minions should dodge it.
- That Came Out Wrong: Invokes this with one of his lines at the beginning of a game.Announcer: "Masters! Get your Minion on! Wait, that didn't come out right..."
Brutus
The ally of the Ravager who spawns when reaching the Ravagers first and third perk.
- The Dragon: To the Ravager
- Undying Loyalty: Since, as a mythic minion, he cannot be possessed by a Ghost, he will never turn on the Ravager.
The spirit inside the Book of the Undead
A spirit trapped within Morellia's Book of the Undead who constantly plots his escape and often times goes back and forth with her during matches.
- Deadpan Snarker: He has his moments.Morellia: "Serve me or die!"Spirit: "You mean: "And die"."
- The Starscream: To Morellia
Nyrvir the Fallen
The undead dragon surving Morellia. He can be summoned when Morellia reaches her third Perk as well as by playing the card "Nyrvir the Fallen" after reching Accursed Ascension,
- Dracolich: Is an undead dragon.
- The Dragon: Literally, to Morellia
- Necromancer: When summoning him as Morellia's first Perk, he performs Nyrvir's Breath. If you have Accursed Ascension, it will raise skeletons along the path.
Adventure Exclusive Masters
All Masters that can only be played on the Adventure Mode. General
- Ascended Extra: Some are named minions in the PvP game modes. Others are nameless minions given a name and a backstory...well, some more than others...
Akaal the Unbroken
A former Slitherbound who broke his chains and is now in revolt against the Slither Lords to free his fellow Slitherbound.
- Enemy Mine: If she has Slither Lords in her deck.
- She's a Man in Japan: Is referred to as "she/her" in German.
- Shirtless Captives: Like all Slitherbound, he is topless.
- Slave Liberation: His goal.
- Turncoat: Once she reaches Perk 3, every poisoned enemy Minion reaching 50% of their health would switch sides.
- Universal Poison: He uses the same poison like every other Slither.
Broll, the Party Leader
A skilled negotiator among the mountain tribes of the Stoutheart.
- Brutish Character, Brutish Weapon: Like most human Stouthearts, he is tall and muscular and fights with a giant axe.
Caeleth Dawnhammer
An Empyrean who serves under Valorian.
- Enemy Mine: If he has Voidborne or members of the Burning Fist in his deck.
- The Hero: To the humans in their war against the Voidborne.
- Religious Bruiser: Like every known member of the Chapel of Light.
- Sole Survivor: Survived a great blast by the Voidborne warlock Karkoffs that killed everyone else around them
- White Magic: Like all high-ranking Empyreans, he can use this.
Codric the Cursed
A human cursed with Lycanthropie by Bahra the Witchwolf who is on a quest to find and get revenge on the Witchwolf.
- Our Werewolves Are Different: Transforms into a Werewolf whenever he reaches his first and third Perk, regardless of the time of day in the arena.
- Revenge: Wants to take Revenge on Bahra for cursing him with Lycanthropy.
Crakgul Doomcleaver
The cruel commander of the Voidborne Gor'Rakk Legions.
- BFS
- The Dragon: To Commander Azali.
- The Rival: To Karkoffs until Caleth killed him.
Elder Beast
An old member of a species hunted down and nearly wiped out by the Slither Lords who is out for Revenge.
- Acid Attack: Attacks by spitting poison at the enemy.
- Enemy Mine: If he has Slither Lords in his deck.
- Intellectual Animal: Despite looking like a beast, it's fully sentient.
- Last of His Kind: Possibly. It's stated his species was hunted to near exctinction. Whether nor not there are more of his kind is not revealed.
- Revenge: He want to get Revenge on the Slither for driving his species close to extinction.
Fergus Flagon Fighter
A Stoutheart tribesman with a love for drinking.
- Improbable Weapon User: His weapons are cups with blades attached to them.
- The Power of Friendship: Playing high-level minions next to each other give both a buff.
- Spin Attack: Attacks by spinning in a circle holding out his bladed mugs.
High-Mage Leiliel
A student of Milloween who mastered "Explosive Crystal"-magic.
- Pointy Ears: Naturally, given that she is an elf.
- Undying Loyalty: To Milloween.
Jolo
A wandering treasure hunting Scrat with a lot of luck.
- The Gambler: His perks make him this.
Nylora
A factionless human who had her body possessed by a demon.
- Ambiguous Situation: It's said that she has reclaimed her soul but she still looks like a demon and uses demonic powers.
- Enemy Mine: Despite fighting against the Voidborn, she uses them herself.
- Kill It with Fire: Can set both bridges alight with her first perk, killing minions that cross it. Also, her basic attack is throwing a fire ball at the enemy.
- Villain No Longer Idle: Non-villainous example. Reaching her thrid perk causes her to enter the arena to fight herself.
Siege Imperator Ruby
A big, robotic tank.
- Blood Knight: Is under orders to kill every lifeform in sight.
- Fake Aristocrat: Despite having the word "Imperator" (meaning "Emperor") in its name, it is, in fact, not an ruler.
Ting, Teng and Tung
Mu-Hou siblings and traveling acrobats that live in and protect Jadespark Jungle.
Vuk
An Scrat-engineer walking around in a self-build mecha suit.
- Kill It with Fire: His main attack is burning minions with his flamethrower
- Gadgeteer Genius: Has created a mecha suit with a lot of weapons.
