Characters / Hunger Games Simulation — Lore: Villains

Go To

Top Index | Lore Characters (Nominators and Co. (6k1 and Power Stroke; Eye-Sicle's Lair; Bale's Base), Tributes, Villains (The Legion of Doom; The Mawkin and Dark Stanford))

Over the course of Convergence and Another Side, Another Story, the nominators overcome their trials and tribulations besides nominating their tributes. Some of these obstacles in their lives are the various villainous factions, each with their own motives to thwart them in one way or another. The scope of their goals varies from small-scale threats to Multiversal destruction, but the heroes have their own strategies to counter and ultimately defeat them.

Due to their length, the Legion of Doom and The Mawkin/Dark Stanford were moved to their own pages here and here.

The Voidlands

    Valecor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ezgif_3_67a0cc9e1008.png

First CVG appearance: Post 3993 (pre-split), Post 9 (post-split)note

A lab experiment on literal nightmare fuel that escaped and has since evolved into a humanoid form. In reality he's actually the second coming of the original embodiment of evil.

  • Ambiguous Situation: The main version of him was at the Voidlands with Xiamos when it suddenly collapsed. Genesis guesses that perhaps he and Xiamos are hiding for a reason she does not know. It's then revealed in ASAS that his essence was contained in a pill that Terminus swallowed to gain his powers, while the Valecor who appeared in Reboot Season 102 was a shadow clone created by Dimentio.
  • Arc Villain: He was one of the primary threats of Convergence, along with Timewrecker and the Legion of Doom. He and Timewrecker both are outlasted by the Legion, however.
  • Balance Between Good and Evil: He plans to keep the heroic nominators alive to maintain the balance for his villain utopia.
  • Benevolent Boss: He's this to his followers, treating them with complete respect.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: With the Legion of Doom and Timewrecker. At least until he's defeated.
  • Dark Is Evil: Pitch black body and very evil.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He genuinely views the villains working with him as the closest thing he has to family. Makes sense given he's the embodiment of all evil.
  • Evil Laugh: Geh heh heh heh!
  • Evil Versus Oblivion: He draws the line at destroying entire worlds because there'd be nothing to rule over afterwards. In fact, he's absolutely disgusted by Timewrecker's atrocities because of this.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: His eyes are normally black with red irises, but he makes them glow red and white just to mess with people.
  • Made of Evil: He's literally made of nightmare fuel and evil.
  • Me's a Crowd: He can use his shadow powers to create clones of himself.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: His name is a corruption of "evil core".
  • Nightmare Weaver: He can force people to sleep and give them nightmares.
  • Perpetual-Motion Monster: As an Eldritch Abomination, he doesn't need to breathe, eat, or sleep. He only does the latter two for fun.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: He can perfectly disguise himself as other people. He can also shapeshift into a girl if it's part of the plan, but he doesn't do it often.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: It's revealed in Reboot Season 39 that he's weak to salt, but after absorbing all the literal invoked Nightmare Fuel, he gained resistance to it.

    Calissa
Click here to see her in ASAS

First CVG appearance: Post 810
First ASAS appearance: Post 4601

Valecor's female counterpart who also serves as a Voidlands guide. She was summoned by Xiamos to replace Valecor's OT counterpart since he merged with him.

  • Ambiguous Situation: She too was at the Voidlands when the Great Collapse occurred, and was assumed dead. ASAS reveals that while she was almost killed, she managed to hold on due to her connection with the realm, albeit barely. This causes her to be reborn with a new form.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Of Valecor, as she's of the same species as him.
  • Light Is Not Good: Her new form is that of a young pink-haired lady in a pastel kimono, but that doesn't mean she's no longer evil.
  • Meaningful Name: "Calissa" is derived from "callous".
  • Psycho Pink: Her new form has long, pink hair but she's not a Rose-Haired Sweetie.

    Xiamos
The embodiment of nothingness, he resides in the Voidlands.
  • Ambiguous Situation: He disappeared when the Voidlands collapsed on itself, alongside the main version of Valecor. It's then revealed in ASAS that his essence was contained in a pill that Terminus swallowed to gain his powers.
  • Barrier Maiden: He keeps the entire Multiverse in balance, and Timewrecker destroyed several Cosmic Keystones to weaken him in his plan to destroy it, contributing to the Great Destruction. After his disappearance, Genesis is presumably keeping the balance in the Multiverse offscreen to prevent its collapse.

Timewrecker and his forces

    Timewrecker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ezgif_3_b8f1a8e9acb5.png

First CVG appearance: Post 860

The leader of an infamous group of Space Pirates who seeks revenge on all the nominators following his defeat to Detective Gamechanger in the past.

  • Alliance of Alternates: Timewrecker had several agents composed of identical alt selves of him, who all united their empires. The "Prime" version just happened to be the smartest and strongest one among them, and he assigned one of them, codenamed 39-B, to participate in Reboot Season 68. Said agent was the one who killed Ally, but everyone believed that it was the "Prime" version of Timewrecker who did it.
  • Apocalyptic Log: His diary in the Voidlands reveals his origins and how he contributed to the Great Destruction. Several pages were ripped out by him since he knew that the travelers would come across it and discover his secrets.
  • Artificial Limbs Are Stronger: Lost his right arm to Detective Gamechanger during their fist fight in a warehouse and had it replaced with a Power Fist by Valecor.
  • Asshole Victim: Needless to say, no one will miss him nor feel bad for him being subjected to a Fate Worse than Death after all the monstrosities he did.
  • Bastard Understudy: It was revealed that Valecor trained Timewrecker to become the villain he was, but it had Gone Horribly Right. After his initial defeat to GC, Keith went to Valecor to become his apprentice so he could get his revenge on the detective. Valecor gave Keith the mask to cover his scarred face and a prosthetic to replace his right arm, both of which he got from his fight with GC in the warehouse. Keith enjoyed being mentored by Valecor and became friends with him, and he changed his name to Timewrecker after learning to harness his time powers. However, when Valecor was about to promote Timewrecker to his ranks, the latter revealed that he planned to kill not just GC, but all his nominator friends, because he believed that alliances are always meant to be broken after losing to GC once. Valecor, who believed in keeping the heroes alive to maintain the Balance Between Good and Evil, was appalled by Timewrecker's motive and banished him from his legion. It was the last that Valecor ever saw of him until his return in the Reboot Timeline.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: With Valecor and the Legion of Doom for the first arcs, he winds up the first to be defeated of the three.
  • Blood Knight: He enjoys showing off his prowess by defeating anyone weaker than him in battle, and even dared the nominators to send over their strongest tributes to him just so he could defeat them all.
  • Crazy-Prepared: To a terrifying degree, making him several steps ahead of everyone else with his plans.
  • Defeating the Undefeatable: After losing once to GC in the past, he trained under Valecor to become nigh-unstoppable, defeating anyone who dared to challenge him to a fight, even alternate versions of the nominators at their strongest. He was so omnipotent that the only way to defeat him was to trap him in a time loop and subject him to almost every possible death.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Seeks to kill all the nominators just because he was defeated by Gamechanger in the past.
  • Dressed to Plunder: Averted when he infiltrated Scipion's old lair. He and his crew disguised themselves as historically accurate Golden Age pirates so that their cover couldn't be blown by history buffs.
  • Evil Overlord: He calls himself Lord Timewrecker and has his own crew to help him with his nefarious plans.
  • A Fate Worse Than Death: He and his army ended up being sealed away in a ring of time, doomed to forever endure every sort of death imaginable with no means to escape, thanks to Genesis (with the help of several nominators). Genesis even namedrops this trope.
Genesis: "Enjoy what's left.... for there are fates worse than death."
  • For the Evulz: He grew up enjoying the life of crime and really enjoys being evil in the present just for sake of pettiness.
  • Hate Sink: Written to be far more despicable than Valecor and one of the Roleplay's most hateable villains with his extremely petty and boisterous behavior. His defeat is written to be as satisfying to read as possible.
  • Karmic Death: Winds up being "timewrecked" himself in the end, along with his army, as the ultimate punishment for his crimes.
  • Malevolent Masked Man: He wears a mask with a glowing infinity symbol around his eyes to cover his scarred face.
  • The Man Behind the Man: He was revealed to have orchestrated the Great Destruction by destroying several Cosmic Keystones to obliterate EVERYTHING to weaken Xiamos, and then tricking Scipion into drinking literal invoked Nightmare Fuel, which was disguised as a muscle drink.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Timewrecker is a Time Master who seeks to destroy the Multiverse.
    • His real name "Keith" means "from the battleground", his nickname "Kete" is derived from "Cetus", the Greek word for "monster", and his last name "Asterize" is a combination of "aster" (group of stars), and "rise/raze". In other words, Keith "Kete" Asterize is a "monster that rises above and destroys the stars" because he seeks revenge on the nominators, who are "stars" in a different sense (as in celebrities).
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Timewrecker is just as destructive as his name implies.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Destroyed several Cosmic Keystones to obliterate EVERYTHING to weaken Xiamos, contributing to the Great Destruction.
  • One-Man Army: With his time powers, he can accelerate time to speed up his attacks and take down many enemies at once.
  • Pride: He's an arrogant Evil Overlord who prides himself in defeating everyone who gets in his way. It ultimately became his downfall when he and his army were trapped in the Time Ring for eternity by Genesis and her forces.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: He's ultimately little more than a childish schoolyard bully given too much power, right down to throwing an impotent tantrum upon realizing that his defeat was at hand. Ichi outright called him a manbaby for making Ally and her backup bodies explode just to rub it in 6k1's face.
  • Really 700 Years Old: He's more than 187 years old, but looks like he's in his 30s thanks to his time warping.
  • Rugged Scar: During his fight with GC in the warehouse, a piece of burning metal marked the infinity symbol-shaped scar on Timewrecker's eyes.
  • Smug Snake: The only thing greater than his capacity for pettiness is his giant ego. It ultimately wound up being his undoing.
  • Supernatural Fear Inducer: One of the superweapons he was trying to retrieve was one that could exploit the victim's fear of water by summoning their reason for fearing it. For example, it could drown someone who's afraid of swimming or sic dangerous sea creatures on someone who fears them in particular.
  • Time Master: It's in the name. Attempting to escape with it while trapped in the Corridor of Time, however, ended up trapping him in it for good.
  • Tom the Dark Lord: His real name is Keith Asterize, and yet he's a villain more ruthless than Valecor himself.
  • Viler New Villain: After Valecor's defeat post-Reboot Season 50, Timewrecker became the next Arc Villain. Unlike Valecor, who was popular among his fellow villains thanks to his charisma, Timewrecker was loathed by everyone and only had a few supporters because of his ruthlessness and pettiness.
  • Villainous Breakdown: His smug demeanor finally cracks once he realizes that karma has finally caught up to him.
  • Villain Reveals the Secret: Leaked 6k1's OT memories and her time machine in public just For the Evulz.

    G- 13
A glitch in reality that consumes whole universes and leaves nothing left in its wake. Timewrecker's group seeks to destroy it as quite a few of his members are from worlds destroyed by it.
  • Escaped from the Lab: One of Timewrecker's experiments, he created it and modified its strengths and weaknesses to harness it as a superweapon, but it got out of control and escaped during the Great Destruction.
  • Glitch Entity: It's a virus that turns universes into glitchy messes and leaves no trace of its destruction.
  • Meaningful Name: Its name is short for Glitch-13 and it lives up to its unfortunate number by destroying universes without a trace.

    Unicron
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unicron_8.jpg
  • Enemy Mine: Is apparently only working with Timewrecker because G-13 is more of a threat than even him.

    Dark Danny
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dark_danny_evil_grin_3.png
Danny Phantom's evil future self, now recruited by Timewrecker.

    The Gloryhounds
A group of Kendorian pirates, led by Xang'wak Grwl. They allied and were subsumed under Timewrecker's forces after meeting him in the Panem universe, following a raid on their home universe.

Voidlands Residents

    The Void Watchers

The Watchers of the Void

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_void_watchers.jpg
Artist:Masa
A race of undead tributes living in the Voidlands, the Void Watchers are former tributes of the Original Generation resurrected as undead beings. Driven by hunger and their hatred toward the living, they wander around the Voidlands and attack the living indiscriminately.

Parallel Sayaka

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_parallel_sayaka.jpg
Artist: Mamuru
Headcanon voice: Eri Kitamura (Japanese), Sarah Anne Williams (English)
A legion of leftovers in the Voidlands. The hundreds of corpses of Sayaka Miki in the old world are buried in the Voidlands ever since the Great Destruction. When Ribey visits the Voidlands and interacts with her past self's corpses, the corpses of her past self suddenly rise again. Since then, they begin to shamble around the Voidlands, attacking any living critter on sight. One of them even got ported to Panem by the portal Ribey created, and she got inadvertently nominated as a tribute by a careless nominator.

    Other Residents

The Dark Nominators

    In General

    Dark Billy
One of the dark nominators, Dark Billy is an evil version of Billy. He runs the whole nation of Kendor as a dictatorial corporatocracy centered on him. He also has an army of his own tributes and agents (who are all dark versions of the original Billy's own) to do his biddings.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Like Eldraseen, he succeeds in destroying Mirror Morth and killing Elliot Sigma's family.
  • The Chessmaster: One of his preferred ways to get what he wants aside from brutal show of force. He demonstrated it by ordering the Vixen Goddess to invade Psyche's Fanfiction School and murdering some people while framing their deaths as suicides.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: In contrast to Light Billy, who's an Honest Corporate Executive. He runs the Corporatocracy of Kendor.
  • Cybernetics Eat Your Soul: One of the catalysts to Dark Billy's transformation is his cyberneticization following the assassination attempt.
  • Cynicism Catalyst: His assassination attempt and subsequent cyberneticization. It led to him abandoning his old ideals and adopting a dark view about the world.
  • Despair Event Horizon: Driven to one after the attempt on his life and subsequent cyberneticization. It would eventually transform him into a ruthless dictator who's obsessed with power and efficiency.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Billy.
  • Evil Is Petty: When Dark Billy decided to kill Elliot Sigma following his betrayal, he sent a huge fleet to destroy the entire planet and kill everyone he loved alongside him. He also told Elliot Sigma about Barnaby's torture in excruciating detail and showed footage of it, before showing how he was among the invading force after the entire ordeal just to spite him.
  • Face–Heel Turn: He was once like the main universe Billy. However, he was targeted by an assassination and almost died. Unfortunately for him, he then woke up with his body mostly replaced by cybernetics. This, combined with the whole attack caused him to fall into a huge despair that would result in him falling into darkness.
  • Fighting Spirit: Much like Billy, he has the same Stand. However, his is stronger.
  • Killed Off for Real: Happened to the main version of Dark Billy after Elliot Sigma used the superweapon against him. He got stripped off his immortality, allowing the heroes to permanently kill him.
  • Hypocrite: For all his obsessions about efficiency, Dark Billy's actions during Villain Month were all driven by his emotions as he seeks to spite his enemies with excessive cruelty instead of balancing it. As a result, he incurred enough hatred from Elliot Sigma and the Light Nominators that they all decided to kill him in the final battle against him, Dark Tabby and Dark Eldraseen. The heroes eventually succeeded in doing so.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Like Timewrecker, another version of Dark Billy also got timewrecked after being hit by the superweapon.
  • Motive Rant: Delivered one to Elliot Sigma while he's on his way to invade his home planet in response to one of his rebuttals. He also broadcasted it to all Dark Nominators and Timewrecker so they could enjoy it.
  • One-Winged Angel: Gains this form by absorbing every superweapon in his planet after taking a special object, as well as all tributes and servants he has.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Seemingly suffered from this after Elliot Sigma blew up the entire planet, killing all of his dark tributes (except Dark Eirin, who is with the force sent to the aquatic planet for Timewrecker). Subverted, as he can easily rebuild his fleet and renominate his dead tributes from an alternate universe in the Dark Nominator's Hunger Games. Also, he only sent the strike fleet, so he didn't leave Kendor undefended with the invasion.
  • Resurrective Immortality: Possesses it due to taking the Hourai Elixir.
  • There's No Kill like Overkill: Sent a huge fleet to overwhelm Elliot Sigma and his family. Said fleet also contained all of Dark Billy's tributes up to Season 66.
  • Tron Lines: Sports this look across his body due to his cybernetics.

    Dark Zanreo
  • Light Is Not Good: Works with and wields lasers just like regular Zanreo, and dresses in lighter and warmer colors than her - but is still her evil counterpart.
  • Secondary Color Nemesis: Her usual outfit includes an orange shirt and a light green cloak.

    Dark Scipion

A feral Shiny Zoroark who was loyal to Dark GC. He was then killed by the Thunderblight Ganon.

  • Four Legs Good, Two Legs Better: To show that he's feral like a wild Pokémon, Dark Scipion walks on all fours, unlike most Zoroarks, who walk on two.
  • Villainous Friendship: In contrast to Light GC and Scipion's bitter rivalry, Dark Scipion is friends with Dark GC.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: His only purpose was to be Scipion's dark counterpart before being slain by the Thunderblight Ganon.

    Dark Eldraseen
A ruthless space warlord who has recently taken over a Luminmech fleet. Has a flagship with a menagerie. Also has a pet Anga Fundarge known as Angie. As of recently, he's the one who destroyed Morth.

  • Affably Evil: Despite being a warlord, he's genuinely polite most of the time. Averted if you don't work for him, as he's a cold, merciless man who wants nothing but to destroy the multiverse or take it over.
  • Amazing Technicolor Battlefield: Upon fully transforming, he creates a sphere for the two other dark nominators and light nominators to fight.
  • Benevolent Boss: Treats his crewmates and dark tributes with respect. He even told two of his dark tributes to take a break after defeating the Demoire Dominus.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Eldraseen.
  • Final Boss: He's the last major villain to be fought in Convergence.
  • One-Winged Angel: Gradually transforms into his own version of Dark Falz Persona as the Battle of Light and Dark progresses via absorbing its essence. He's fully transformed in the climax.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Like Timewrecker, he eventually does pay for his actions, and thanks to Billy's super weapon, an alternate reality version of him suffers the same fate Timewrecker's suffering. Unlike Timewrecker, he doesn't go down without a fight.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Succeeds in destroying Morth and killing Elliot's family.
  • There's No Kill like Overkill: Sent a huge Luminmech army to overpower Elliot's family once the Keeper of Hope destroyed a scout ship, as well as a Magatsu clone via Double once he got tired of waiting for his flagship's laser to charge.

    Dark Elliot
A mysterious cat working under Dark Billy ...For like a few short pages. It turns out, his name is actually Elliot Sigma, and he has a family of his own and was working under Dark Billy because of his family. And when he does betray him to escape, his family was killed.

    Dark Dave
Click here to see his true form

First CVG appearance: Post 2085
First ASAS appearance: Post 1403

The Dark Nominator counterpart of Dave. He's an unaligned Dark Nominator, who has a grudge on Timewrecker and is striking out for ambiguous reasons.

  • Cain and Abel: Dark 6k1 mentions that she and her brother Dark Dave had a lot of fights in the past, but it ended with her cutting ties with him to teach him a lesson that friends will inevitably leave their friends behind, sometimes through betrayal.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Was set up to be a major Dark Nominator in CVG, but was last seen scheming with his cohorts on how to capture Fira and was never seen again.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Whatever he's planning, he's keeping it a secret from the nominators, and all that Light Dave knows that he's targeting him and Fira in particular after Valecor and Timewrecker's fall.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Like his Light counterpart, he can shapeshift.

    Dark Tabby
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dcaaf8bc_29f3_4f14_9b8b_490ea8e514f8.png

    Dark Ichi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dark_ichi.jpeg

First ASAS appearance: Post 5278 note

Ichi's Evil Counterpart who only shows up in the Arena for the Nominator Games or the Battle Royale/Death Battle if he gets qualified. Dark 6k1 despises him because she believes he's wasting his potential to do more as a villain, while Dark Power is obsessed with him.

  • Abnormal Allergy: Was somehow allergic to humans, as he discovered when he sneezed on Hype Kitty in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200).
  • Affectionate Nickname: His best friend Dark Power calls him "Darkich".
  • Alternate Self: An exact clone of himself from an Alternate Universe appeared alongside clones of the entire ASAS Cast in Reboot Season 166.
  • Came Back Strong: His AU clone powered up after being killed by Bob Newbie in Season 166 but it wasn't enough to protect him from TFS!Freeza's Death Ball.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: Unlike the other Dark Nominators who were first introduced in CVG, Dark Ichi is only interested in joining the Games and would retreat after his stint the Arena.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He questions the absurdities of the Games even more often than his Light counterpart.
  • Death by Gluttony: Drank too much soy sauce and died in the Feast of Season 150.
  • Energy Weapon: He has a wrist-mounted laser gun that he can shoot his enemies with.
  • Evil vs. Evil:
    • With Lord British, as they fought each other for most of Season 150.
    • He also has a bitter rivalry with Dark 6k1 due to his hatred for her being an "overconfident Smug Snake" whose plan will "inevitably" fail and her disdain with his "commitment to laziness" by not being involved in any villainous plan outside the Arena.
  • Food Eats You: Was devoured by CG and Cassie's cake, which suddenly came to life at the Feast of Season 200.
  • If You're So Evil, Eat This Kitten!: Literally forced Routeferret to eat a kitten to prove their evil in Season 156, who reluctantly obliged.
  • Irony: Despite being a villain, his application to be a teacher at Bale's Villain School was rejected during Season 150.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Like his Light counterpart, he mainly fights with his tech.
  • Harmless Villain: While he's in for a fight in the Arena and is threatening towards the other tributes, he goes back into hiding after the season. He doesn't have any villainous plans and refuses to partake in others' because he doesn't want to suffer the same fate as the other Dark Nominators before him. Power also believes that he's a "decent" guy outside the Arena.
  • History Repeats: In the 4th Reboot Nominator Games, Riley stole his Xbox he found in the Cornucopia and ran away, just like when Elliot did the same to Light Ichi 50 seasons ago.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite his alt self reluctantly doing the Noodle Dance in Season 166, the original Dark Ichi likes dancing on his podium to his favorite music during the Nominator Games. And just like his Light counterpart, he's not above making meme references either.
"Not to put too fine a point on things, but yeet!" [throws TTS!Billy into conveniently-placed bombs on the sides of the Arena]
  • Pet the Dog: For all the villainy he committed in that season, he at least complimented Risdio's rain machine in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games. He also had the decency to return his overdue book to the Database Library in the 4th. Additionally, he got flustered by Bezier Curve mimicking one of the Pillar Men's poses before the 6th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 300).
  • Training from Hell: Literally trained in Hell to Take a Level in Badass in Season 156.
  • Villain Has a Point: Called out Psyche for celebrating her victory with champagne during the Bloodbath of Season 150, warning her about Tempting Fate, which 6k1 agreed.
  • Villainous Friendship: Despite his animosity towards Human Rarity in Reboot Season 156, he's best friends with Dark Power, as shown with their AU clones in Season 166. He calls her an "adorable, crazy little pony" while she pounces on him for headpats, and their AU clones even died together when Freeza threw the Death Ball at them.
  • Xanatos Speed Chess: Even if his plans get foiled, he can come up with Plan B's on a whim, like when he got his revenge on Lord British for inadvertently foiling his plans by killing Timeline Master Ozzy for her negative Homestuck review in Season 150. Dark Ichi then deflected Lord British's Shrink Ray with dog tags before kicking him away.
  • You Have Failed Me: In Season 156, he forced Route into his alliance and disguised themselves as demons to infiltrate King Kong's camp, but Route blew their cover. Dark Ichi then fired a laser from his mouth at him the following day as punishment.

    Dark 6k1

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dark_6k1.png
"[Light 6k1...] how far will your kindness and empathy go in the same world that permanently killed one of [your friends]?" (image made by Troper No. 9001 in this Picrew)

First ASAS appearance: Post 6368note

6k1's Evil Doppelgänger who had been hiding in her lab for years, spying on her. She plans to sabotage her Light counterpart's Voidlands trip for reasons unknown.

  • Alternate Self: An exact clone of herself from an Alternate Universe appeared alongside clones of the entire ASAS Cast in Reboot Season 166.
  • Bad Boss: It's implied that she punished Dark Power in the past, but to what extent remains to be seen. She's also planning to start her own legion and maintain a business relationship with them to avoid becoming too attached to them, but her twisted views on kindness means she might not exactly become a Benevolent Boss to them.
  • Batman Gambit: When she disguised herself as Twilight, she willingly explained to Light 6k1 what her shapeshifting wrist device did (although she lied about where she got it), knowing that she'd ask about it. Dark 6k1 then tricked her into using her disguise revealer on her, tanking it, before revealing herself.
  • Black Cloak: Wears a Palpatine-esque cloak as part of her ensemble.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brains to Dark Power's Brawn.
  • Cain and Abel: With her brother Dark Dave. They had a lot of fights in the past, but it ended with her cutting ties with him to teach him a lesson that friends will inevitably leave their friends behind, sometimes through betrayal.
  • Came Back Strong: Her AU clone powered up after being killed by Bob Newbie in Season 166 but it wasn't enough to protect her from TFS!Freeza's Death Ball.
  • Color-Coded Speech: Her dialogue is evil purple to contrast Light 6k1's regular purple dialogue.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Like her Light counterpart, she always has a backup plan in case she gets foiled, but she takes care not to go as overboard as Timewrecker, disappointed in his overconfidence that resulted in his defeat.
  • Cyborg: She's mostly human but her eyes and left arm are cybernetic. It's currently unknown how much of her body is mechanized because she wears a cloak.
  • Electronic Eyes: Her cybernetic brown eyes flash purple when she's angry, regardless of form.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: As much as she despises "useless" villains, she doesn't kill or punish them for it (or want other people killing or punishing them) because she believes they didn't do anything heinous to deserve it. She also spares Dark Ichi so she won't hurt Dark Power's feelings and considers timewrecking as a "disgusting" form of punishment, though she understands why Timewrecker was subjected to it.
  • Evil Versus Evil: Has a bitter rivalry with Dark Ichi due to her disdain with his "commitment to laziness" by not being involved in any villainous plan outside the Arena and his hatred for her being an "overconfident Smug Snake" whose plan will "inevitably" fail.
  • Fake Memories: When disguised as Twilight, she can cast a powerful mind-altering spell on others to cover up mistakes in her plans. The real Twilight studied this but never used it because it was a forbidden spell that gives her a splitting headache from one use. Dark 6k1 also only uses this as a last resort because she prefers using psychological tactics in manipulating her enemies.
  • Instant Mass: Just Add Water!: She stores Food Pills in big freezers in the mess hall, which instantly become real meals with a few drops of water.
  • Lack of Empathy: Being the opposite of her Light self, she believes that kindness isn't always helpful and only helps others if it would benefit her goals. She's also apathetic towards her Dark Tributes, leaving them be after their time in the Dark Arena and not caring if other Dark Nominators "proxy" them aka nominate them instead of her.
  • Mad Scientist: In contrast to her Light counterpart, she lives in a lab in an undisclosed location where she monitors 6k1's activity in its computer room.
  • Manipulative Bastard: She's cunning with her words and can make people crack under pressure from them, like when her AU clone smooth-talked Light 6k1's into killing Moko in Season 166.
  • Master of Disguise: She knows how Light 6k1's tributes behave and had been practicing on how to act like them so she can convincingly disguise herself as them.
  • Mysterious Watcher: Had been spying on Light 6k1 for years without her or anyone else's knowledge, but has since started confiding her plans to other villains. She keeps her reason for spying on 6k1 in the dark, however.
  • Obsessively Organized: Even moreso than her Light counterpart, as she alphabetizes the food pills in her freezers.
  • Orcus On Her Throne: She plans to recruit more minions to her little legion by having them come to her instead of scouting for them, and she'll have them do the dirty work for her until she's ready to face 6k1 herself again. Ironically, she got the idea from Dark Ichi telling her to "stay holed up in her lair", which she interpreted as being an "indirectly involved" villain.
  • Pragmatic Villainy:
    • Was relieved that the massive group tribute she was in had a failsafe to prevent another Great Destruction because it would be a detriment to her plans if it actually happened.
    • While she also doesn't believe that kindness would help her in the long run, she's willing to help her fellow villains, but only if it would benefit her own plans.
  • Prefers Proper Names: Always calls Ichi or his Dark counterpart "Ichigo" when directly addressing him to show how angry she is towards him.
  • Put on a Bus: She was last seen going to her lab's revival chamber to resurrect Dark Power after her run in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200) and was never seen again. It's widely theorized by heroes and villains alike that Dark 6k1 will eventually return in full force once she's formulated her master plan. She and Dark Power then returned for the 6th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 300), the former frustrated at Raven Beak and Dark Stanford "stealing" Light 6k1's podium spot by having the Atomozoids and hacked Ally backups capture her.
  • Red Right Hand: Has a purple streak in her hair to tell her apart from her Light counterpart. She got it from Dark Power when they first met, and the dye is purple troll blood.
  • A Sinister Clue: A Dark Nominator who uses her cybernetic left arm as a weapon.
  • Smug Snake: She denies being this, as both Light and Dark Ichi would believe, claiming that she won't be defeated the same way as the other overconfident villains before her and that she just likes being dramatic.
  • The Smurfette Principle: After Dark Tabby's defeat and Dark Zanreo's retreat following Timewrecker's fall, she and Dark Power are currently the only active female Dark Nominators in ASAS.
  • Swiss-Army Appendage: Her cybernetic left arm can generate a purple lightsaber and has a wrist device that projects a hologram for communication. She can also levitate items with it and encase them in Gem bubbles; knock enemies away and silence them with telekinetic waves akin to the Force; and summon laser barriers to lock doors.
  • Transferable Memory: Her lab has a chamber resembling the Cloning Capsule's interior where she can have her and Dark Power's AU clones' memories copied into them.
  • Transformation Trinket: Her wrist device can let her transform into any form she wants for as long as she needs, including their powers, clothes, and voice. However, due to a bug in her device's programming, her eyes will glow purple when she's angry regardless of form, so she restricts herself to forms with naturally purple eyes such as Twilight. She can also turn it into a bracelet to hide it, and only she can remove her disguise.
  • Villain Teleportation: Like Light Ichi, her wrist device has a button that lets her teleport to and from her lab.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Dark Power. While she's annoyed with Dark Power's craziness, Dark 6k1 still trusts her as her minion and respects her friendship with Dark Ichi.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Won't hesitate to kill children if it would benefit her goals.
  • Xanatos Speed Chess: Like her Light counterpart, she still makes mistakes in her plans. However, she can quickly come up with backup plans if needed, like when she, disguised as Twilight, had to stall Dr. Phoenix into finishing the "checkup" for "Spike" before he could have the medtech lab analyze the "scales" that were shed, which was actually dried blood from Dark Power's disguise training.

    Dark Power

"Heeheehee... more 'paint' for my masterpiece, please!" (image made by Troper No. 9001 on Pony Town)

First ASAS appearance: Post 6368note

Dark 6k1's insane Evil Minion who uses the blood of her victims as paint.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Like their respective Light counterparts, Dark Ichi calls her "Dark Pow-Pow".
  • Alternate Self: An exact clone of herself from an Alternate Universe appeared alongside clones of the entire ASAS Cast in Reboot Season 166.
  • Ax-Crazy: She's way out of her mind and loves slaughtering her enemies.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brawn to Dark 6k1's Brains.
  • Came Back Strong: Her AU clone powered up after being killed by Bob Newbie in Season 166, giving her bat wings, but it wasn't enough to protect her from TFS!Freeza's Death Ball.
  • Color-Coded Speech: Her dialogue is evil blue to contrast Light Power's regular blue dialogue.
  • Color-Coded Wizardry: Her magic aura is bright purple.
  • Cute and Psycho: Dark Ichi sees her as adorable despite her insanity.
  • The Dragon: Is Dark 6k1's trusted minion who has been loyal to her for years.
  • Drugs Are Bad: Ate weed gummies in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200), but overdosed and choked on them because weed is poisonous to horses.
  • Evil Laugh: Heeheehee!
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Like her Light counterpart, she doesn't like being called "Dark Powie".
  • The Gadfly: She likes provoking Dark 6k1 just to see her eyes turn purple, to her frustration.
  • Holographic Disguise: Dark 6k1 can cloak her with a hologram made of Hard Light that emulates the target's physical form and powers, but its movement is restricted to how far Dark Power can move her body. Dark Power is still herself behind it, but the hologram conceals her from everyone else. She can also use her own magic in addition to the hologram's powers, but it'll manifest itself differently and retain its bright purple color. Additionally, her voice doesn't change and the hologram disappears after taking several hits depending on how strong the original is. She was disguised as Spike for the infiltration at the Science Center.
  • Horn Attack: Just like her Light counterpart, she can impale others with her horn, but unlike hers, it's naturally sharp.
  • Jabba Table Manners: She messily devours her plate during meals.
  • Mad Artist: Her mental state is similar to her Light counterpart's during OT S200, and she kills people for their "paint" and slathers it and other non-paint materials on herself and the walls with her bare hooves. According to Light Power, she's "Amisia in pony form", and it's implied that she had been killing trolls even before she met Dark 6k1.
  • Nobody Touches the Hair: ...except for Dark Ichi. Anyone else who tries petting her will meet the business end of her horn, which is why Dark 6k1 pats her back instead. Dark Power had to resist stabbing Dr. Phoenix for checking her head for "dried paint flakes" when she was disguised as Spike during the Science Center infiltration.
  • Oblivious to Her Own Description: When Dark 6k1 mentioned the possibility of Dark versions of their Pokémon counterparts, Dark Power couldn't comprehend the concept of alt selves of alt selves... when she's a Dark version of Light 6k1's pony counterpart.
  • Obviously Evil: It's clear that she's Power's Evil Counterpart because of her dark blue coat that's the same shade as the blood of the violent indigo trolls, disheveled mane and tail, she leaves a trail of blood of different colors wherever she goes, and wears an eyepatch and a Slasher Smile.
  • Playing Sick: When she was disguised as Spike, she faked having a sore throat to Dr. Phoenix to justify her female voice that slipped when she snapped at the guards outside the Science Center. She intentionally belched smoke to try convincing him, but he saw right through it when she got a sore throat for real from doing it excessively.
  • Prefers Proper Names: She always calls Dark 6k1 "6001" as an act of subservience.
  • Put on a Bus: She was last seen dying the 4th Reboot Nominator Games and was never seen again. It's widely theorized by heroes and villains alike that Dark 6k1 will eventually return in full force once she's formulated her master plan. She and Dark 6k1 then returned for the 6th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 300), the former frustrated at missing the nomination period since she wanted to be with Dark Ichi again. She also blamed Bezier Curve for "stealing" her podium spot.
  • The Smurfette Principle: After Dark Tabby's defeat and Dark Zanreo's retreat following Timewrecker's fall, she and Dark 6k1 are currently the only active female Dark Nominators in ASAS.
  • Sycophantic Servant: Is implied to have been punished by Dark 6k1 in the past, but to what extent remains to be seen, yet she's still loyal to her.
  • Teleport Spam: She's more proficient in teleporting than her Light counterpart, using it several times to dodge the sentient Cornucopia in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Just like her Light counterpart, she'll gorge on a plate of quesadillas when she sees one.
  • Villainous Friendship: With Dark Ichi, as shown with their AU clones in Season 166. He calls her an "adorable, crazy little pony" while she pounces on him for headpats, and their AU clones even died together when Freeza threw the Death Ball at them.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Dark 6k1. While she's annoyed with Dark Power's craziness, especially regarding her friendship with Dark Ichi, Dark Power still trusts her as her master and will obey her every command without question.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Unlike her Light counterpart, she hates data clones even if she knows they're being normalized in the Arena because they're "not the same". Her opinion on them after the mandate that all tributes are to be data cloned starting in Season 259 is yet to be seen.
  • Yandere: Platonic example. According to Chara, she has an "Ichigobsession" over Dark Ichi. She also threatens to kill any alternate Power who tries getting close to him, but Dark 6k1 won't let her go that far because she wants to observe them a little despite not caring about them.

    Dark Haze/Shadowmaster
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c45137b3_ca01_4719_988f_7a40ee4f084b.png
I'm so lonely in here... hopefully this can keep me entertained.

First ASAS appearance: Post 7548

Hazemaster's Evil Counterpart, who nominates into the games to kill the boredom of being stuck in a blank black void.

    Dark Libre
Click to see his normal appearance
Click to see his shadowy appearance
First ASAS Appearance: Post 6128
Ostensibly the dark counterpart to Nominator Libre, in actuality he's the collective avatar of all the Entities that originate from the world of The Magnus Archives. Seeks to bring forth the Entities upon the world, and spread them across the multiverse.
  • Casting a Shadow: His shadowy form covers him in shadow with a teal aura surrounding it, and allows him to teleport from place to place simply by dissipating.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Was suddenly destroyed by the memory bomb that Libre made to destroy the Webking House, which was linked to him. He eventually came back as Riley's original form because her memory link with him and the Voidlands energy-infused E.M.M.I. triggered her transformation into him.
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: He's the physical avatar of all of the Entities together, being the one capable of communicating with other living beings, and having their goal of spreading across the multiverse in mind.

The Hidden Dark Nominator (Spoiler Character

"Dark" Bale

Bale's "dark self" who actually is the original one, with "Light" Bale being merely an offshoot who gained a life of his own. He leads the new Legion.
For tropes about him see "???"'s profile

The League of Evil

    In General
A new organization formed by Terminus. Their goals are currently a mystery.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: They were set up to be a rival league to ???'s Legion, but after their mutual non-aggression pact, the League of Evil gradually became Out of Focus until they eventually vanished without explanation. Any season appearance by their members since then is left ambiguous if they're still working for the League, became independent after it presumably dissolved quietly, or are unaffiliated clones/alts of them.
  • Foil:
    • The League and the original Legion of Doom are formed as an alliance of a a band of villains with the general goal of multiversal domination. However, the Legion was formed by a good hearted, but unwitting nominator; they're willing to act in the open; and they sought to merge the Multiverse into one universe where they reign supreme. The League, on the other hand, is founded by a deity of darkness; they dislike openly acting and prefer behind the scenes manipulations; and their motive appears to be multiversal domination and destruction in general.
    • They and ???'s Legion are both groups with a command structure of a leader, a second-in-command, and a council of villains supporting them. They both also prefer to keep their activities in the dark unless necessary. However, ???'s Legion is a smaller group (compared to the first Legion) with the specific goal of capturing a single target, whereas the League is a budding alliance with a broader plan. ???'s cohorts also plot to backstab him, whereas the League Council appears to be loyal to Terminus and Lady Babylon (with that said, although Shang Tsung briefly suggests a future coup after a non-agression deal between the League and ???'s Legion, he concedes when Xehanort shuts the idea down out of pragmatic reasons).
  • Legion of Doom: Compared to ???'s Legion, they are more in lieu of the first Legion, as they are a large alliance of villains pursuing a mutual agenda.

High Command

    Terminus
The mysterious Entity of Darkness and Genesis' counterpart, who is gathering a band of villains for an unknown reason.
  • Arch-Enemy: With Genesis.
  • Deal with the Devil: He's the Devil here, when he managed to rope Park Jimin into serving him.... until he was redeemed by his fellow bandmates. Terminus doesn't mind it, however, and does not pursue Jimin further.
  • Put on a Bus: He decided that his time is yet to begin, and seals himself into a deep sleep and locks his realm away after the battle against the Legion of Doom.

    "Lady Babylon"
An aeons-old deity, who is very affiliated with Terminus. She leads the League of Evil during his absence.

The League of Evil Council

    In General
The Council are a sub-division who answers only to Terminus and/or Lady Babylon. They consist of:

    Xehanort

Master Xehanort

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/master_xehanort_khiii.png
"Darkness is a beginning, you see, not an end."

A man hailing from a humble life in the Destiny Islands, and the strongest Keyblade Master of his generation. He was once a noble and wise man, if somewhat shifty, and an extraordinary Keyblade wielder; however, in his travels across the worlds, Xehanort came to believe that the current state of the World is filled with false light that is in fact darkness, making it a total farce, and came to the conclusion the World must be purged and restarted anew, with the true light and darkness in perpetual balance, and him as its ruler.

This Xehanort hails from an alternate universe where he managed to fulfill his goals, and is a later addition to the Council. Despite this, his abilities and leadership capabilities allowed him to become the leader of the Council, and thus the third in command after Terminus and Lady Babylon.

  • Alternate Self: This version of Xehanort's from an alternate Kingdom Hearts universe where he was victorious, as shown by him wielding the χ-blade, which in canon was passed on to Sora before Xehanort died.
  • An Ice Person: Like in canon, he has an affinity for ice magic.
  • Master Swordsman: As to be expected from a Keyblade Master. He's able to handle fighting multiple fighters at once during the battle in the Neon Quarters.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: After making a mutual non-agression pact with ???'s Legion, he refuses Shang Tsung's idea of backstabbing them, since he believes that it would be counterproductive to do so just after their deal.

    Shang Tsung

Shang Tsung

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shangtsung.png
"Your Soul Is Mine!! Fatality!"

An extraordinarily powerful sorcerer. Shang Tsung is a demonic shapeshifter who needs to consume souls in order to sustain his health and life. Throughout his unnatural lifespan, he has achieved an intellectual and mental sophistication unlike any other. He seeks to obtain power above all else.

During the days of Convergence, Shang Tsung served as a mouthpiece and aide to Terminus, before being officially appointed into the Council after the Entity of Darkness' self-imposed exile.

  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Discussed, and currently downplayed. In canon, this is his defining trait; however, he hasn't shown it much as an underling of Terminus. He did briefly suggest a coup scheme against ???'s Legion, but concedes when Xehanort shuts the idea down.
  • Mouth of Sauron: Was one to Terminus.

    Darkseid

Uxas / Darkseid

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darkseid_0.png
"Darkseid IS."

The Lord of Apokolips, the feared God of Evil, and the wielder of the inescapable Omega Beams. He seeks to impose order across the universe, by gaining the Anti-Life Equation, which will allow him removing all free will and subjugating everyone to slavery.

He's one of Terminus' earliest recruits.

  • The Dreaded: Darkseid is one of the most feared supervillains in the DC universe, and for good reason. ???'s Legion has even noted that he may very well be of danger should the League opposes them.

    Father

The Dwarf in the Flask, Homunculus / Father

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/father_fma_9.jpg
"I shall drink to the Promised Day, and to your undying loyalty."

The creator and leader of the Homunculi, and the mastermind responsible for everything that went wrong in his universe. The first Artificial Human of his kind, born out of an experiment combining a piece of the Gate of Truth and Van Hohenheim's blood. Father, not wishing to be bound to anything, seeks to consume the Truth, and rule over all.

He had once been defeated, and returned to the Gate, but Terminus extracted him, and brought him under his service. Due to his knowledge of alchemy, he acts as the head of the League's science division, marking him as an especially high-ranking member.

    Ghirahim

Ghirahim

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Ghirahim_Skyward_Sword_2814.png
"I'll just beat you within an inch of your life!"

The Demon Lord, who sought to resurrect his master Demise and bring ruin into the world by using the blood of the goddess Hylia as a sacrifice. He and his master were among Terminus' first recruits, but inexplicably, Demise disappeared, forcing Ghirahim to take his place until the Demon King is found.

He is not a very high ranking member of the Council, yet his loyalty and cunning mind mark him as a valuable member.

  • Badass Cape: A red one, just like in canon. It disintegrates whenever he prepares to fight.
  • Master Swordsman: Handles both 6k1 and Tabby in a sword duel with ease during the battle in the Neon Quarters. Given his true nature, it makes sense.

    Vaati

Vaati

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/smashified_character_portrait_vaati.png
"I look forward to snuff the life out of you!" (Art by Curiomatic)

The Wind Mage, and a former Minish, apprenticed to Ezlo. Seeking to sate his curiosity on the evil in the heart of humanity, as well as taking control of the Light Force and become a god, Vaati backstabbed his teacher, and stole his Wishing Cap, which allows him to gain a Hylian form.

One of the last additions to the Council, his cunning mind and well-regarded sorcery skills are valuable assets to the League.

  • Badass Cape: He has a dark purple one, like in The Minish Cap.
  • Blow You Away: It couldn't be more obvious than the title of the Wind Mage.

    Porky Minch

Porky Minch / "King P"

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ssbb_porky_minch_trophy.png
"That's right, Chosen Boy! Or are you?"

A denizen of Onett, and a next-door neighbor of Ness's. Once a rather harmless, if rude boy; however, a fated encounter with Giygas changed him for the worse. Eventually, he escapes into another world, and came to rule as the "king" of New Pork City, leading his Pigmask Army to subjugate the world.

Unfortunately for him, he was eventually defeated by Lucas and friends, and he was left trapped in the Absolutely Safe Capsule. With the Capsule left adrift, Marx stumbled upon it, and he began to seek to use it and Porky for his own plans. However, Terminus had other ideas, and used his power to break the former King P out of the Capsule, before recruiting him into the League.

Porky is not a very high regarded member, due to his childish position. However, he can prove to be dangerous when necessary, which solidates his position among the Council along with surprising loyalty.

  • Badass Cape: Gains a blood red one after his resurrection.
  • Came Back Strong: After the events of the Neon Quarters, Porky is resurrected in a new body, this time in his younger appearance. And better yet, he keeps his powers.
  • Die Laughing: He cackles madly as Giegue kills him.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Is smart enough to realize the Windblight Ganon's plan to set Giygas free, and followed its example with wicked ease.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: As per canon.

The Mysterious Dimension (??? and Co.)/Extradimensional Group Anoshki

     In General
A group of villains from the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, Kikaider, and other assorted series who have joined Dark Bale in his quest... Albeit with their own secret intentions.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: To the Legion of Doom, the Legion was composed of villains from several variable worlds with differing media origins each, and whose numbers were large in terms of named members; here the named members and major generals are all from mostly the same genre: Toku and the few that join them from other kind of sources are more akin to stray forces joining them. Furthermore the Legion of Doom worked together for the most part after systematic purges and weeding out traitors and useless minions, while Dark Bale's group is much more reduced in named members with only a few select generals acting at the time and the major forces being mooks from all types. Finally, the LOD planned to conquer the HGS world and its surrounding Multiverse, while Dark Bale's league has plans in other worlds. Finally, the Legion had mostly loyal minions who all had the same plan as their bosses and were happy to execute it; here a lot of minions implicitly defected when they learned of the true plan of Dark Bale's servants as apparently Otaru, a deity the Group seeks to unleash, is an Omnicidal Maniac and if things were to go smoothly then everyone would die.
  • Dragon with an Agenda: Pretend to be ???'s loyal minions while secretly planning to undermine him.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Have their own plans for Bale separate from Dark Bale's own. It's stated by one defecting member, Scorpius the Alien Temperor, that they want to summon an entity known as Otaru who can destroy all in its path presumably against Dark Bale's own plan.
  • Legion of Doom: Though, unlike the other Legion, this one is far less broad in the range of members it has.

First CVG Appearance: Post 23 (Post-Split)
First ASAS appearance: Post 102
Headcanon Voice: Keith David (hooded), Jemaine Clement (true aspect)
A mysterious villain who currently watches the events happening in a secret dimension. He eventually steps up to a major role as a villain when he decides to finally put his plans into motion, which involve Bale in some way. He is eventually revealed to be Dark Bale.
  • Arc Villain: The one for Bale's overall character arc.
  • Bad Boss: Slips into this when sufficently angered, torturing and threatening his minions over their failures.
  • Break the Cutie: His true plan is to break Bale and destroy his friendship with the nominators in order to get him to join his side. He plans on using knowledge about him for that end.
  • Dark Lord on Life Support: Part of his reason to get Bale stronger before reabsorbing him is to keep some kind of degenerative condition he's going through at bay.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Realized that sending the Starble over to 6k1 during the height of the Legion of Doom was a bad idea and ditched his plans for him.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Made an appearance long before he came into play to the main plot at the beginning of the split thread.
  • Evil Counterpart: Inverted. This "Dark" Nominator is the original one with the "Good" Bale being an offshoot of his.
  • Evil Is Petty: He hijacks Xochi's systems to nominate data clones of his tributes to the Arena, even if he could send them there as themselves, just to mess with Light Bale.
  • Fatal Flaw: His arrogance and overconfidence. Which Mr. Mind makes sure to try and correct, lest he ends up like Timewrecker. Not that it fully stamps them out.
  • Genre Savvy:
    • Wasn't impressed at all by Timewrecker's Ironic Hell fate, viewing it as "destiny fulfilled".
    • He also criticized Zorua for being a blatant Omnicidal Maniac and making themself an enemy of every other nominator.
    • Similarly, he averted Evil vs. Evil by sending Zoffy and Yapool to negotiate with the League of Evil to prevent any possible conflict.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Wants Bale to come to his dimension for an unknown reason. It's revealed that "Light" Bale is a fragment of himself and he plans to reabsorb him so he can regain his true form.
  • Hidden Villain: Was watching Bale behind the scenes as early as the start of CVG, but his identity wasn't revealed until the Space Pirates Battle in ASAS.
  • "It" Is Dehumanizing: Elfilin is male, but Dark Bale calls him an "it" because of his origin as Fecto Elfilis.
  • Pet the Dog: Gifted a Starble to 6k1, which she gave to Billy, which surprisingly enough had no evil intentions or hidden purposes for. Or so it seems, though he abandoned any plans with it eventually.
  • Tendrils of Darkness: Can summon these to fight.
  • Villain Respect: Finds Timewrecker admirable, in spite of also finding him to be a Smug Snake in relation to his ego.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: To a degree. His powers let him change his body's shape to fight or to acquire other forms for certain purposes.
  • Xanatos Gambit: Decides to strengthen Bale with constant threats so as to help him become suitable for absorption, since Rouki's around too that ensures that no matter what Bale will eventually become strong enough for him to properly absorb and regain his full power.
  • You Have Failed Me: Executed Utrom Shredder for bailing out too early in the fight on the AR Pokemon World and was on the verge of executing Zetsu before Mr. Mind talked him out of it.

First CVG Appearance: Post 4414 (Pre-Split)
First CVG Appearance: Post 23 (Post-Split)
First ASAS appearance: Post 102
Headcanon Voice: Alan Oppenheimer
The infamous evil genius Venusian Worm, he works as ???'s master and guide.
  • Genre Savvy: He's fully aware of the consequences of overconfidence and shortsightedness, training ??? into overcoming them, so that they can achieve their goals. And he is not one to let too many or valuable members get senselessly executed.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Acts cordial and kind to ??? but plans to be rid of him once they get Bale.
  • Pragmatic Villainy:
    • His MO, he advises ??? not to get himself in trouble through reckless villainy, instead opting to wait and focus entirely on their sole goal of getting Bale.
    • He suggests Dark Bale spare Zetsu after he gets one of the dark crystals lost and falling into the good guy's hands, as he instead plots to correct that mistake with a much more intellectual approach than Zetsu's own.
  • We Wait:
    • Suggests to ??? to wait for the G-13, Timewrecker and Legion of Doom to be thwarted/destroyed before making their move.
    • After the defeat of the former two, he begins to lighten up but still advises to remain inactive and only occasionally pop up to stir trouble while gathering forces and intel. It's not until later that he goes along with truly becoming active.

    Alien Zetton "Zoffy"/Zetsu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alien_zetton_max___ultra_series.png
One of ???'s Legion highest ranked members besides Mr. Mind, he is an Alien Zetton who mentors Bale in his fight against the Legion to earn his trust and later on continues influencing and mentoring him in his adventures. Turns out later that his real name is Zetsu and he's far more sinister than he let on.
  • Condescending Compassion: Notes how Lucina suffers from losing Meta Knight by finding it pitiful that she has human emotions that make her value life to begin with.
  • Co-Dragons: With Great Leader, Black Cross King, Hakaider and Don Horror to ??? and Mr. Mind, though he is far more loyal to the latter. He ends up as a straight-up dragon after some failures.
  • Demoted to Dragon: Demoted to lesser minion more, but after the failure at the AR Pokemon World he gets demoted from his higher general status to a lesser one, being made into the Captain of a special small team.
  • Enemy Mine: With the Ultras to defeat the Legion of Doom, although the Ultras do not know of his true nature yet.
  • Evil Mentor:
    • Of sorts, he poses as a good guy but does help Bale without any twists in defeating the Legion of Doom.
    • To boot, he also gifted Bale a Fusion Riser and Kaiju Capsules for him to use in combat in addition to his own fighting skills.
    • He drops the pretenses at the start of the Dark Bale Arc, since he figured the act wouldn't last any longer after he gets questioned too much.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: So far what he plans is unknown, though he's already discarded having the goal of conquering the HGS World, hinting that his interests lay somewhere else.
  • Flash Step: Can move faster than the eye and appear in different places in an instant.
  • Lack of Empathy: Despite the pain Meta Knight's death caused to Lucina, he can only comment on his loss as a mere senseless waste of a strong being.
  • Meaningful Name: "Zetsu" is a shortening of Zetsubou, which means "Despair" due to his ultimate end goal and that of his master.
  • Mythology Gag: His name references the fact that magazines around the original airing of the finale of Ultraman mistook due to early synopsis the character of Zoffy as the final kaiju, Zetton's, master, when it was Alien Zetton, all because of some misinformation. Here his alias is that of Zoffy while posing as a good guy.
  • Parental Substitute: He invokes this Trope to manipulate Bale and drive away any suspicions of his true goals. Until he reveals his true nature that is.
  • Straw Nihilist: He is hinted as one given his internal speech about the pointlessness of life after seeing Lucina grieve over losing Meta Knight.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Can change his body's shape at his liking such as creating weapons from his arms or changing into a giant mass.

The last member of the Anacondrai tribe, and one of Bale's many acquaintances-turned-enemy, he was put in charge of Bale's Villain School back during his tenure as Bale's ally. As well as an on-and-off member of the Legion of Doom. He eventually joins ???'s Legion as a more active and major member, aiding his fellow villains in their goals and building a rapport with Captain Zahab.
  • Academy of Evil: Was put in charge of Bale's Villain School. Later on he hires Vexus to help him there. They were both replaced with unnamed teachers after Pythor was outed as a traitor.
  • Bait the Dog: During the Space Pirates Arc he has some amicably bickering moments with Meta Knight and even helps him and Lucina recover in the middle of the fight. It was all an act so his betrayal would sting harder when it came around.
  • Bantering Baddie Buddies: He often butts heads with his fellow legion member Vexus.
  • Butt-Monkey: He goes through lots of grief during the RP, many of them are well-deserved.
  • Deadpan Snarker: When dealing with more ridiculous or overtly weird situations or towards fellow villains when they displease him with their antics.
  • Dirty Coward: He's not one to stay in a fight if things get slightly tough. For example he fled the scene when the Legion of Doom got more active.
  • The Dragon: Still the one to the Overlord as he is in canon. He is in fact been keeping the evil entity safe since the Legion of Doom's defeat and plans to reinstate him when he has the chance.
  • Exact Words: When he comes to Meta Knight's "aid" after Zahab throws him into a fissure, he says he's there to help an old friend; said old friend he's helping is Zahab not Meta Knight.
  • Eye Scream: As payback for helping Zahab throw Meta Knight inside of a fissure, Lucina slices one of his eyes off.
  • Genre Savvy: He'd figured out that "???" was "Dark" Bale or something similar to that, and merely asked him about it to confirm his suspicions and learn the exact nature of their relation.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Snarked about the originality of Gem names, only for Vexus to point out that his name is just "python" with an "R".
  • Invisible Jerkass: To cement his cruelty and selfishness he often went invisible as his excuse to ditch everyone else and plot his next move, while making it no secret that he was bailing out on his own "allies".
  • Jerkass: At no point has Pythor shown himself to be anything but a nasty piece of work, he's rude to allies and enemies alike, puts his own well-being above others and isn't shy to mess with others and abandon everyone to their own luck when the going gets tough.
  • Karma Houdini: To his home series' narrative of events, in the finale of the Crystalized Season of Ninjago (treated as the Series Fauxnale to the original story of the show), he is last seen beaten unconscious and presumably arrested along with losing his crystal powers after the Crystal King/Overlord is destroyed. Here he continues being an active villain well past the events of that season and even regains (with help from Yapool) his crystal powers after the Crystal King's death.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: He has mentioned to Vexus that they have practically the same situation as former rulers of their kind-turned-outcasts.
  • Put on a Bus: After Bale is captured by the Legion of Doom, he leaves the Villain School and flees to parts unknown. He returns after their defeat and becomes a regular again.
  • The Resenter: Secretly resented Meta Knight for being Bale's favored tribute and being considered better than him performance-wise, to the point that he personally participated in setting up his death. He does have to clarify that he didn't do it because of some desire for validation, it was just to sate his ego.
  • Snakes Are Sinister: The vilest recurrent tribute of Bale's and quite shamelessly evil outside of that sphere of influence, being a willing participant in both the Legion of Doom's and Dark Bale.
  • Token Evil Teammate: He is this to the rest of Bale's friends/acquaintances. He's rude, cruel and only assists Bale for his own sake. He's also working alongside Dark Bale's group, dropping the pretenses eventually and helping kill Meta Knight to establish that he's no longer putting up his good guy act.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Following his entrance into Dark Bale's group, he becomes a lot more capable as a battler than even in his home series being capable of using actual fighting moves and leaving some of his cowardice behind, only retreating from a fight when necessary as opposed to not partaking in it to begin with.
  • Villainous Friendship: Strikes up some genuine ones as a member of Dark Bale's Legion.
  • Villain Team-Up: He met "Spoon" sometime during his time running away from the Legion of Doom and teams back up with him and an alternate Skales to hunt down a version of Berdlynote .

    Vexus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/queenvexus1.png
Formerly queen of Cluster Prime, Vexus gets recruited by Pythor as his assistant in the Villain's School, working as one of the staff members and running the place when he isn't around.
  • Bantering Baddie Buddies: She often butts heads with her fellow legion member Pythor.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Snarks about Pythor's mockery of the Gem names by pointing out that his own name isn't exactly too different in the convention used. It wouldn't be the last time she mocks him either.
  • The Dragon: To Pythor during their time in the Villain's School staff.
  • Sadist: She isn't shy to state that Pythor's suffering is much amusing to her. Such as when he relays that he lost an eye to Lucina.

    Highness Duke Org Shuten
The red eye and hand-themed Highness Duke of Gaoranger, who works as one of Dark Bale's minions.

    Bluebird Azurite
The fusion of the Gems Eyeball and Aquamarine now working as a member of Dark Bale's group.
  • It's All About Me: Entered Dark Bale's group solely to get her way.
  • Not in This for Your Revolution: Involves herself in the goals of the group solely to get her revenge, all else is unimportant to her.
  • The Quisling: Happily betrays her own kind and cooperates with Dark Bale's forces, all to get a shot at killing Steven.

First ASAS Appearance: Post 1363
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/26648869d24f5e1ed_w.jpg
A fallen Gosei Angel who serves as the spy for ???
  • Literal Surveillance Bug: His modified Bibibugs serve as this, which provide the information on the events ongoing to ??? and his fellow villains.

Ultra Faction

     Yapool
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2970dc2916b4d999646a262156156ec5_7.png
An interdimensional being who thrives on negative emotions and provides resources for ???'s Legion and actively monitors Bale.
  • Co-Dragons: One of Dark Bale's highest servants and among his most powerful.
  • Demonic Possession: Can possess other living beings to force them to do his bidding.
  • Maker of Monsters: Like in the Ultra Series he's a creator of Kaiju (specifically Choju/Terror Beasts) and has multiple of his creations attack in the roleplay's arcs.
  • The Power of Hate: And all negative emotions, he employs them to create his Choju (Terrible Beasts) and other artifacts, as well to strengthen himself. He harvests this energy from the incidents happening in the story, such as Giygas' appearance and Lucina's grief and hatred of Bale when Meta Knight dies.
  • Voice of the Legion: Speaks this way sometimes, as he's a Hive Mind of many organisms.

    The Darkness Five
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darkness_five_4.jpg
From left to right: Deathrogue, Jahtar, Sly, Villainous and Glocken
A group of five villainous aliens, formerly serving Ultraman Belial and now working for ???'s faction as spies and ocasional enforcers.
  • Co-Dragons: Besides Mr. Mind and Zetsu, Sly plays this part as one of the highest-ranked minions with a degree of authority over his fellow villains, including the other four Darknesses.
  • Obviously Evil: They look and have names par the course for evil villains.
  • Playing with Fire: Deathrog's primary forms of attack are fire-themed.
  • Tactical Withdrawal: Jahtar and Deathrog withdraw on Dark Bale's orders midway through the fight in the AR Pokemon World, not that either was in actual trouble, rather it was just Dark Bale letting them come back as Bogarl took over the fight.
  • Taken for Granite: Jahtar's main technique is to transform others into bronze statues with a special gas that he can release from cilindrical prisons. He can also use a Super Spit with the same properties.
  • Quirky Mini Boss Squad: They serve as this as they're five individual villains who work for Dark Bale's Legion as one team. They occasionally split up for missions, however.

    Space Pirates Balban
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/balban.png
Top; from left to right: Gun Boss Sambash, Captain Zahab, Destruction King Battobas. Bottom; from left to right: Samurai General Budoh, Steerwoman Shelinda, Spectral Empress Illiess.
A group of space pirates, originating from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman, employed by Zetsu for the first parts of his group's plans, they were initially nominated by Bale for Reboot Season 206 but Dark Bale's Legion took them in after Bale returned them to Hell so as to gain some more forces.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: They might've failed to kill all the backup, but Zahab himself succeeded at what he was sent to do: get rid of Meta Knight.
  • Defeat Equals Explosion: While it's tradition for Sentai monsters to blow up, the Balban members explode when killed due to the sheer power of the dark crystals they consumed.
  • Dwindling Party: Gradually lose members as they fight against the many warriors of good in the AR Pokemon World. Only Sambash and Zahab are left after the fight, though Sambash is left behind as he is believed dead during the aftermath. By the end of the first part of the Dark Bale Arc only Zahab is left after Sambash falls.
  • Irony: In Gingaman, Sambash was the first general to die in the series. Here he's one of the few survivors of the first part of Dark Bale's Arc alongside Zahab.
  • It's Personal: They had it out for Bale due to him nominating them and refusing to resurrect them once the Season they participated in ended. Zahab even forced him to watch as Meta Knight died to make him suffer.
  • Make My Monster Grow: At the tail end of the first part of the Dark Bale arc, Sambash enlarges himself with Balban Extract to take on the Shepherds and Kamen Rider Decade, only to be defeated with ease by Godzilla.
  • Super-Empowering: They use miniature stable versions of the dark crystals that Mr. Mind and Zetsu planted to increase their power or that of their weapons.

Captain Zahab

The lone survivor of the group, now working as a general to get his vengeance on Bale and help realize Dark Bale's goals.
  • Arch-Enemy: To Lucina, alongside Pythor. As he was majorly responsible for Meta Knight's death/disappearance.
  • Demoted to Dragon: Due to his lack of resources at hand, he goes from being a major leader antagonist to a simple minion of Dark Bale. Though he stands out in his power and grudge against Bale.
  • It's Personal: Bale refusing to resurrect him and then killing part of his crew made him gain a burning hatred of the Nominator and a desire to personally harm him and his friends for it.
  • Villainous Friendship: Has a bit of one with Pythor.

    Bogarl
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bogal_new_6.png
A female monster under Zetsu's employ and an enforcer of Dark Bale sent as the final backup for the Pirates' plan.
See Ultraman Mebius for tropes pertaining to the canon portrayal of Bogarl
  • Aliens Among Us: Takes on a human form when not in battle.
  • Climax Boss: Of the Space Pirates Chapter of the ???/Dark Bale Arc, as the final major threat of it with it requiring everyone to come together to stop her while Zetsu becomes a threat later on, he doesn't stay on the fight for too long before retreating.
  • Giant Equals Invincible: For the most part the battle against her consists of everyone on the good guys' side throwing all their attacks at her and failing to do much of worth, it takes the ludicrously powerful Galaxia and Bale transforming himself into Kaiju to ultimately defeat her just barely.
  • Rasputinian Death: She had to be hit with several attacks, including a large amount of electric moves which were her weakness, right after having both of her eyes destroyed and that was followed by Bale unleashing a fully powered Thunder Discharge while transformed into Thunder Killer to finally destroy her for good.
  • Taking You with Me: Tries to blow herself up to take out all her opposition when she is mortally wounded with lightning, Bale makes sure to destroy her the old-fashioned way to prevent her from killing everybody.

Monster Army

    In General
Kaiju and other opponents that Dark Bale sends out against Bale in a bid to strengthen him and/or accomplish other goals in the process to speed up his victory.
  • Xanatos Gambit: No matter the outcome of a fight and even if their secondary plan gets thwarted they can't really fully fail in their operations unless they don't provide any challenge, since their true main purpose is to make Bale stronger.

    Baraba
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultraman_ace_baraba_render_by_zer0stylinx_de7y8sq_fullview.png
A Minus Energy kaiju created by Yapool in a bid to steal the Stone of Baradhi from the PMD World for his own uses. It is the first opponent Bale and Darrgon face after merging.
See Ultraman Ace for tropes pertaining to the canon portrayal of Baraba
  • Alien Blood: Instead of regular blood, it "bleeds" the interdimensional energy of Yapool.
  • Anatomy Arsenal: All of its body parts are weapons in and of themselves, it uses them expertly when needed to fight against either a singular large opponent or a large amount of small ones.
  • Giant Equals Invincible: Like Bogarl, it is portrayed as borderline invincible and it takes the similarly sized Primal Groudon and Darrgon teaming up to deal any damage to it.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: With Yapool's help it retreats before it can be finished off after being gravely wounded.

    Segmeger
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/segmeger.png
The first kaiju of the monster army, a reptilian beast under Pythor's command who attacks the AR World of Kirby to attract Bale's attention and fight it.
See Ultraman Taiga for tropes pertaining to the canon portrayal of Segmeger
  • Reptiles Are Abhorrent: A malevolent reptilian kaiju picked specifically for its frightening behavior.
  • Poisonous Person: Has poisonous and corrosive abilities that it uses to fight.
  • Starter Villain: Of the third part of Dark Bale's arc, as the first of Dark Bale's forces to be confronted by Bale and his allies and the intended first proper opponent of Bale as Darrgon (since Baraba did not expect to confront the Dark Giant).
  • Tunnel King: Can dig underground to prepare for an attack.

    Majaba
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/majaba_render.png
An insectoid kaiju with less strength than most but a greater degree of speed in exchange, it's Vexus' first monster to be used in her personal revenge scheme against her nemesis.
See Ultraman: Towards the Future for tropes pertaining to the canon portrayal of Segmeger
  • Fragile Speedster: Its faster than Segmeger but much less strong. It is able to outpace most foes but ultimately goes down in one hit to Alexandrite when she is able to properly predict where it'll strike next.

    Golgolem
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/golgolem_remove.png
A rocky monster with a large crystal on its back and Bluebird's first kaiju. It proves to be tougher than its predecessors, requiring a larger team effort to be defeated all thanks to having been empowered prior.
  • Pocket Dimension: Can create small pocket dimensions to shield itself from attacks.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Once overwhelmed it tries to flee from Bale's team but is stopped and destroyed before it can dig underground.

Lesser Minions

Lesser monsters sent to assist the bigger ones and their masters in battle. They fight on the ground level against their foes.

     2022 Monsters

Bat

A bat-themed kaijin sent alongside Pythor. It assisted in the first battle.
  • Graceful Loser: Is rather serene about his defeat and destruction after being bested.

Lizard Doubler

A lizard monster with technology-disrupting capabilities. It gets sent to assist Vexus.
  • Man of Kryptonite: Why Vexus was sent to be helped by it, with its hacking capacities her usual nemesis, Jenny, wouldn't be able to beat her.

     2023 Monsters

Christmas Monsters

Satasata, Chrismisery Org, Reindeiasanta, Debo Yanasanta IV

A quartet of Santa-themed monsters sent to create enough energy to empower Golgolem for Bluebird and Deviot's plan.

Panoptes and its Vex army and simulated tributes

     Panoptes, the Infinite Mind
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pan_0.jpg
A huge Vex Axis Mind that has been watching the tributes for nearly a year unnoticed. Now, it's preparing to convert the Voidlands into a machinescape... Until a Hobgoblin told it that in doing so, the multiverse would be destroyed by the Eldritch Abominations in there, thus cancelling the plans.
  • Bad Boss: Ordered the four simulations to destroy a Goblin to test out their combat capabilities. It then deletes another one after it asks it a question it thought was stupid.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Is well aware of how despicable it is.
  • Denser and Wackier: That being said, because of that and being able to talk and SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS, it's a lot more goofy here than it was in Curse of Osiris.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Ends up getting abruptly killed by a mysterious figure once the Voidlands begin to collapse.
  • No Indoor Voice: It shouts everything it says.
  • Suddenly Voiced: It and the rest of the Vex speak.
  • We Wait: Subverted. It did tell its army to wait for the villains in the Voidlands to either leave or get killed before converting it, but after learning the truth, it cancelled the plans to convert it.

     The Vex
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vexus_1.jpg
Panoptes' goons.
     The Simulated Tributes
Simulated versions of the tributes, from the past, present, and future.
  • Aborted Arc: There was supposedly going to be a few arcs involving them, but ever since Cerebus Syndrome set in during Villain Month, plans for those were quietly cancelled.

Karnvaxael and His Forces

     Karnvaxael
A giant, mysterious demon. His body is covered in purple flames.
     Emet-Selch (Concergence/ASAS Version)
An Unbroken Ascian who has been revived thanks to Karnvaxael. He seeks revenge on Galis for killing him

The Neon Quarters

    In General

The Neon Quarters

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/girls_frontline_ct_trailer_paradeus_units.png
The Faith in White
An arms manufacturing firm stationed in the Capitol. The power vacuum caused by Scientist Hassel's presumed death has eventually led to a power struggle, causing the entire firm to grow increasing militaristic and fanatically religious due to the internal arms race. Eventually, it grows into a cult dedicated to Markus Hasselhoff, an egomaniac scientist whose goal is to force everyone to worship him.
  • Always a Bigger Fish: ???'s faction proves to be this for them.
  • Aristocrats Are Evil: Many of their high-ranking members, including Archangel Markus, are noblemen. They used to control a portion of Panem's military force development and resource allocation, until Snow's downfall, which severely damage their political power. There's a reason why the Neon Quarters has the word "Neon" in it: It is named after the neon lights in the upper-class areas of the Capitol.
  • A Nazi by Any Other Name: They also believe that the Capitol is inherently superior to the other districts and they would use every opportunity to oppress the districts surrounding the Capitol. One cannot spell the word "Neon" without "Neo". They are essentially Neo-Nazis without any connection to actual Nazis, but rather, President Snow's regime.
  • Culture Chop Suey: The Panemite Faith only resembles a Catholic faith on the surface. Deep down, it actually resembles an animistic faith not unlike Shinto, rather than a monotheistic faith like a traditional Christian faith. According to the Panemite Faith, everything has a spirit and the cathedrals exist for the spirits to harbor within so the mortals can worship the spirits as their deities, and the word "spirit" is almost synonymous with "god". The Panemite Faith exists as shrines dedicated to the Presidents of Panem... in which Markus himself is planning to become.
  • Killed Off for Real: The organization as a whole is wiped out by ???'s forces after the defeat of the Legion left their main base in ruins.
  • Expy:
    • Of the Third Aldmeri Dominion (also know as "Thalmor"), a group of Elven supremacists that openly persecutes humans and tries to destroy the world in order to regain their supposed divinity. The Neon Quarters believe that the people born in the Capitol are sacred beings and they openly oppress those who refuse to submit to them. Thankfully, the only territory currently under their control is their own building.
    • Their high-ranking members' religious motif would remind the others of White Faction, a mysterious cult that utilise technologically superior military weapons made of human organs and powered by faith. In fact, the Neon Quarters openly utilise White Faction's units and Archangel Markus himself started off as a member of the White Faction before he founded this splinter group.
    • Their homemade religion, the Panemite Faith, is very similar to the Healing Church. On the surface, the cathedrals set up by Markus heavily resemble Catholic cathedrals, but deep down, they work more like Shinto shrines than actual churches, with the cathedrals being shrines dedicated to the spirits of the Presidents of Panem, the entrance archways functioning like Torii (gates for separating holy sanctuaries from mortal worlds) despite having built in Gothic style, and the official term of the spiritual uncleanliness they aspire to remove being "Taint" (or Kegare, which means dirty in spirit). Also, the Panemite Faith's portrayal of "Collins" is a mysterious humanoid deity that wouldn't be out of place in a Lovecraftian novel.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: What makes them horrifying is that they're so realistic. There's no over-the-top villainous plans, just a paramilitary organization wanting to re-establish a totalitarian government.
  • The Theocracy: The Quarters' goal is to establish a kind of state theocracy where everyone has to follow their own religious law and thus become able to control Panem. By deliberately shaping Paylor up as a goddess, the Quarters could exploit Paylor's image to make everyone obey the Quarters. In reality, the faith is directed to Markus himself.
  • Scam Religion: The Panemite Faith, a self-proclaimed religious sect dedicated to the presidents of Panem. Markus claims that the Hunger Games exists to offer Human Sacrifice to an ancient creation god known as "Collins". In reality, the higher-ups only care about their moneybags while the rest of the clergies are brainwashed to fight against a problem that never exists.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Despite having spent every opportunity to expand their influence, Paylor, the very person they try to shape up as their goddess and puppet leader is also their last obstacle to overcome. So long as Paylor disapprove with the Quarters' actions, the Quarters would not have a chance to take over Panem.

    The Archangel

Archangel Markus Hasselhoff / True Scientist Hassel

Click here to see his "holy image"
"A Fuhrer is merely a mortal who tries to rule over other mortals; a Pharaoh is the avatar of the God, who is born to rule over mankind. As the Great Pharaoh of Panem, it is my divine rights to be worshiped by many!"
The real Mark Hassel, whom the impostor from the Old World either killed or locked in a basement, was a genuine scientist with great scientific knowledge, but unlike the impostor who helps the weak with dark magic, he's a genuinely evil wretch who abuses the weak with the power of science. His ambition and madness were temporarily halted by Lordimark, who takes up his name to perform heroic deeds. As soon as the latter is forcefully booted out from the Quarters, he immediately takes up the throne and becomes the new president of the Quarters and shifts it to a more militant direction.
  • Author Avatar: He becomes one of Mhazard as of ASAS and the first Light Nominator character who's overtly evil.
  • All There in the Manual: Up until his appearance, the only way one would know his existence is to read the Lore Characters page.
  • Ascended Fridge Horror: He's essentially what would happen if a nominator character affiliated with a science center happens to be evil: they would willingly exploit their connection with the authority and their technological advantages for their self gain. They would also neglect the well-being of their disposable tributes and the worlds where they came from.
  • Badass Normal: Being a regular human, he doesn't possess any superpower like the rest of the villains. However, he makes up for his lack of superpowers with his superb marksmanship, melee combat skills and strategic planning.
  • Berserk Button: Childish things. Whenever he comes across things he deems to be childish, he often destroys them on sight.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Markus aspires to become the tyrannical ruler of Panem by indoctrinating everyone into obeying him and using his military hardware and technologies to subdue the foreigners, and yet when compared to the likes of Legion of Doom, he's merely a petty human that poses no threat to superpowered beings. In the end he dies without accomplishing any real villainy and his faction is unceremoniously wiped out by ???'s forces.
  • Body Back Up Drive: The body he currently uses is a decoy body made of the corpses of multiple tributes, just like the Snowclone Soldiers he helped Snow to develop in the first place. Should he get killed, he can simply activate another replacement body and revive himself.
  • Body Horror:
    • Beneath his helmet, Markus' face is really hideous because the current body he's using is merely a remote body made using the same tech as the Snowclones.
    • His real body is even worse: burnt and smoked by the people living in the Capitol using white phosphorus allotrope until it's beyond recognition and what's left of him has to be put into a capsule filled with liquid to keep himself alive.
  • But for Me, It Was Tuesday: His attitude toward disposing a universe that has no use for him. To the other villains, destroying other universes might be a big deal for them, if not their entire goal. To Markus, however, it's merely a regular procedure without any importance, as the deceased population of Mitakihara City can attest.
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: Of a nominator character. He's essentially what would happen if a nominator was evil to begin with.
    • A character who wants to exact their personal power fantasy and wish fulfilment, when played realistically, would be the kind of sociopathic, fanatical monster who sees everyone else as below them and uses every opportunity to force everyone to obey them through brute strength or mind game.
    • He also represents the worst side of how a nominator views other universes: They're expendable and replaceable. Seeing tributes as fictional characters, he's an amoral asshole who disregards the well-beings of tributes and other universes. Once the tributes are summoned and killed, their worlds mean nothing and one can do whatever they want, Markus is just more open about it than the others.
    • His existence also explains how the heck the events are tested: using other dimensions that leave no impact to Panem as the test fields. Want to try a radioactive fluid that would turn people into mutants? Do it in Mitakihara City and then nuke the whole city to destroy all the evidences, no one in Panem would bet an eye on it. Want to test the effect of a fatal event? Do that with your own tributes with underground illegal seasons which are implied to be most of the custom saves run outside of the official Hunger Games seasons. And the aftermath of a tribute going through almost all of the fatal events? They need to have their memories suppressed or wiped out just like what happened to Prototype Sayaka, who now has lost all of her memories and her personality.
  • Droit du Seigneur: His ultimate goal. By becoming the top of the nobility, Markus would have the right to date whoever he wants by the virtue of being the top of the social hierarchy. According to the author, even if Markus succeeded, it would be a Meaningless Villain Victory, as he can only use the remote bodies that aren't his to interact with whoever he would fall in love with. Moreover, he can never have an offspring that's really his.
  • Evil Is Petty: He willingly tries to run over a cat with a truck because it hissed at him, and it is implied that he's willing to murder whoever disrespects him had it not for his concern on his publicity.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even though he's a detestable monster, he despises the idea of using bioweapons to subdue Panem's people. Being born in Panem, he adores his homeland and he wants Panem to aspire and become superior to every nation and race. However, it only shows that he's a massive hypocrite, as he's willing to eradicate other dimensions using bioweapons and nuclear weapons because they have no connection with the planet Earth (or so as he claims), as the deceased population of Mitakihara City can attest.
  • Fantastic Racism: He sees everyone not born in Panem to be inferior to the people of Panem. He also despises the Treatlings because of their childish looks.
  • First-Name Basis: In contrast to the impostor, who often addresses himself by the last name, Markus insists everyone to call him by the first name due to his massive ego, as well as trying to differentiate himself from the impostor.
  • Godhood Seeker: He aspires to become the God-Emperor of Panem, using religious laws to bend everyone's knees before him.
  • Good Powers, Bad People: In contrast to the impostor, the real Scientist Hassel possesses genuine scientist knowledge and healing power, but he uses his power to abuse the weak.
  • The Gunslinger: To make up for his lack of superpowers, he trains himself to quickdraw his weapon and switch to his sidearm should he runs out of ammo (a tactic that the author actually uses in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)), as demonstrated when he executes several Treatlings in his headquarters.
  • Hate Sink: The author intentionally makes him as petty and hateful as possible in order to create a realistic, serious villain. While there are few instances where he's given several humanising moments, all they serve is to make him even more unsympathetic and unnerving.
  • Killed Off for Real: After surviving the destruction of his base, and having all his backups destroyed, he is killed by Colonel Zol of ???'s forces.
  • Know-Nothing Know-It-All: Due to his massive ego, he clearly doesn't take account of any of the superpowered villains that are way superior to a mere human like him.
  • Light Is Not Good: He's the genuine article and he usually wears a white lab coat to invoke a holy image, and yet he's anything but good. In reality, he uses a Strelet unit as his main body, the aforementioned image where he wears a white lab coat is actually a decoy.
  • Off with His Head!: His final fate.
  • Orphaned Etymology: Even though Panem is located in America, Markus has a habit of borrowing foreign words for his own speech, such as his occasional habit of calling himself a "Pharaoh".
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!:
    • The reason why he can get away with his numerous atrocities is because he's the leader of a third party Science Center, which grants him the right to communicate with the government directly. Early on, he used to work for Hassel's Quarters, a third party Science Center affiliated with President Snow, granting him his very first connection with a nobility. Shortly after Snow's downfall, he usurps Lord Hassel's position and becomes the leader of the Quarters, making him a "legitimate" nobility himself.
    • According to him, most of the events are tested through live demonstrations, and it always takes someone to do the dirty job and test the events. Markus is a "gamemaker" in a sense of a lower deck logistics team which prepares the materials, suggests the events, tests the events through live fire, and then hands the data to the real gamemakers. However, this lowly position also allows him to destroy and loot other dimensions on a regular basis without raising any suspicion.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: The impostor tries to lock him in a cell and take up his name in a desperate attempt to prevent him from terrorizing the world, which ultimately fails.
  • Sinister Minister: The chief minister of a false religion who exploits the said religion for his self-gain.
  • Villainous Underdog: Compared to the superpowered villains, he's merely a a petty human with a massive ego. He makes up for his lack of superpowers with his mind game, his reputation as a scientist and his sheer wealth.
  • War Is Glorious: To him, war can refine the spirits of Panem's people through hardship, brotherhood and the willingness to fight, conquer and dominate.

  • Cyborg: Shortly after being recruited by Markus, she gets forcefully converted into a White Faction Rodelero unit.
  • Mini-Mecha: Being one of the three Amber squad members, Amber Two used to pilot the AA-02 Ares, a bi-pedal assault artillery unit.

    "YOU"

"YOU" / Yonah Originum Ursprung

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_you.png
You cannot grasp the true form of "YOU".

First CVG appearance: Post 639

A world-ending life-form that was unleashed into the Arena. They're an incomprehensible entity that no one, not even him, knows the true form of. Long before the Quarters was briefly taken over by the impostor, Archangel Markus Hasselhoff created "YOU" to study human nature and how to control humans.

  • Appearance Is in the Eye of the Beholder: From a nominator's POV, they see "YOU" as a clone of themselves, but to a non-nominator, they see them rapidly cycling between all the nominators. Because of this, no one knows what their true form looks like.
Ralsei: There was this... unusual tribute on one of the podiums, and Power was giving it strange looks...
    6k1: You mean my clone?
Power: No, that was my clone!
Ralsei: It's hard to describe... but they were rapidly switching between the two of you, Starfall, the other nominators on the train, and many more that I don't know!
  • Depending on the Writer: Anyone can play as this character as long as the narration is written in 2nd Person and that their name is always capitalized. Because of this, their appearance and personality changes depending on who's playing as them.
  • Empathic Shapeshifter: The form that they assume is completely dependent on the writer.
  • Mercy Kill: Gave one to Sayaka in Reboot Season 25 by strangling her. Their 6k1 persona took pity on her Arena sufferings and killed her in the Bloodbath.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: While they can transform into any nominator, with all their strengths, weaknesses, and memories up until the point they were nominated, they can't override said nominator's personality or alignment.
  • Shapeshifter Identity Crisis: Their form's anomaly depending on who's looking at them came to a head in the 7th OT Anniversary (Season 278), where they realized that many tributes still aren't used to their presence. They wondered if there was a way to stabilize their appearance towards non-nominators so as not to frighten them.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Power likes to believe that she and Ichi became best friends over the latter killing the entity by dropping an anvil on them. They had an argument the next day over killing their "clone", then decided to go bowling to get that off their minds.

The Sky of Blood/Red Sky

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/5c50a745_381c_4582_b0d2_77d821df19a9.jpeg
The Embodiment of Blood
An avatar of "YOU", the red sky is the embodiment of blood, which flows in our veins. It symbolises humans' lust for blood, death and suffering. The urge to see tributes suffer strengthens the avatar, gradually empowering it until it finally appears on the sky, enlightening the Panem residents with a rain of blood, a baptism with blood.

Another instance of it manifested through the W Corp-created portal near the Rose Office inbetween Season 298 and Season 299, managing to infect the Flower System in the brief time between its arrival and it being teleported away to be nominated.
  • Irony: Ironically for a manifestation of bloodshed, it doesn't have the best of performances in Season 299, as many times it tried doing something to the tributes which either didn't land on them, didn't harm them much, or outright backfired as the tributes would seek out the Sky itself in retaliation. The most it managed to do was twist a platonic version of the Spin the Bottle into a game involving hitting the target on the head with the titular bottle, but that eventually leads to it being noticed by Liara, who then proceeds to tear it asunder with a Singularity.
  • Hate Plague: Its blood rain can incite a lust for war. Whoever gets drenched by it would look for something to kill uncontrollably.
    • Markus intended to use the rain to create obedient soldiers, but the rain causes the victims to go berserk instead, so he deemed the research as a failure. However, he still keeps it as the Quarters' last line of defense should someone launches a siege on the Quarters.
    • Cassie, when he got infected with a piece of the Sky in his heart, began acting significantly more bloodthirsty under its influence, swinging between speaking like a Soft-Spoken Sadist and Suddenly Shouting, engaging in Evil Laughter, repeatedly desiring utter destruction of his targets of hatred in his speech, as well as exhibiting a red gleam in his eyes, culminating in him falling under E.G.O. Corrosion, a form of Power Incontinence only possible through large amounts of Sanity Slippage. Not only that, in his corroded Fluid Sac E.G.O. form, Cassie could spread the influence of the Sky upon others as well, by firing enough blood to replicate the rain of blood associated with the Sky.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: This fragment of "YOU" that originated from the Neon Quarters was supposed to be weaponized by the League of Evil, but it was never seen again following their mysterious disappearance. Whilst it shows up again during the Database Library siege during the Dark Stanford Arc, Word of God has confirmed it's not the same instance that the League of Evil collected.

Omega Corps

A platoon of mass-produced Reploid superweapons. They are modeled after the massive "Devil Reploid".
  • BFS: He always carries a massive beam sword.
  • Powered Armor: Its massive armor is actually a container that houses another unit.
  • Uniqueness Decay: In Omega's source material, he's a one-off unit created by Dr. Weil. Here, his massive armor gets reverse-engineered by another scientist and becomes mass-produced units.

Original Sayaka

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_another_side_original_sayaka.png
The original body of Sayaka Miki. She lies within one of the Omega units and blindly obeys every order from the Archangel. Her existence signifies Ribeyrolles' failure to restore her commander's original body. Since then, what's left of Sayaka has become the symbol of the Quarters' authority.

KCCO SOCOM Branch

    Captain Yegor

Captain Yegor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/girls_frontline_yegor.png
Captain of the KCCO Special Operations Command branch, Captain Yegor is a major stakeholder of the Quarters.
  • A Father to His Men: He deeply cares about his subordinates and will take every step to avenge them should someone maims them.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Alina. Initially, he's hostile to Alina and the entire Magius Wing faction, seeing them as a group of fanatical cult like the White Faction also known as Paradeus, but after Alina bailing out Yegor from the Arena instead of handing him to the local Griffon & Kryuger commanders, he becomes much friendlier to Alina and the Magius Wing.
  • Killed Offscreen: After parting away from Alina, he dies of drowning in an underground base shortly after confronting Griffon & Kyruger mercenaries with his own mech. His bodyguards, who also pilot the same type of mech as his, have survived that battle, but they get forcefully converted into White Faction cyborg units after being rescued by Markus.

Magius Wing

    Alina Gray

Alina Gray

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_another_side_alina.jpg
The Current leader of a cult who calls themselves the Magius Wing, Alina tries to compete for the position of the Head Scientist, but she failed.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Yegor. Initially, she's hostile to Yegor and the KCCO SOCOM Branch, seeing them as a group of boring and weak Muggle military force. But after she bails out Yegor out of good will and sportsmanship, she manages to befriend Yegor.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She might be aloof, bloodthirsty and crazy to her enemies, but to her allies, she's a resourceful senior in art and a mentor figure.

The Combine

     In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/combine_poster.png
A highly advanced alien empire that has conquered a lot of planets and universes, including the earth in under seven hours.
  • Big Bad: With the Legion of Doom's demise, they've taken this spot for themselves in the grand scheme of things.

Key Figures

The Advisors

     In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/combine_advisor.jpg
Advisors are sapient, grub-like aliens that act as the leaders of the Combine empire.
     Advisor Beta
One of the more powerful Advisors. It oversees most major invasions and helps out in creating new synths and mechs.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: Its army and Dark Falz Double are both invading the Urban Center, but for completely different reasons. (It wants to, you guessed it, take over the Oracle Fleet for its empire and kill Runlina to avenge Breen.)

Others

     Dr. Wallace Breen
Earth's leader after the Combine took over.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Gets struck down by Runlina without much fanfare after he's introduced.

Marilyn and Co

Marilyn, sometimes your plans are dumb...
Marilyn's rather snarky assistant.

The Dark Sisterhood

    In General

  • Amazon Brigade: Their main members are all female or villains of Ambiguous Gender, hence the name of their alliance. Men are either part of their army or just personal goons.
  • Inevitable Mutual Betrayal: Giving all of the organization's members different end goals and not wishing to do the same mistake as the Legion of Doom, they all agreed that they will turn on each other after they are sure no one else will be able to oppose them.
  • Legion of Doom: Yet another one, although they are of the least active ones because they are very recent. They are composed of the High Sisters, AKA the most powerful of the bunch, and the other ones.
  • We Wait: For now, the Dark Sisterhood is rather discreet, giving the already big number of rivals around. They are effectively on hiatus.

The High Sisters

    Medusa

Click here to see her true face

First CVG appearance: Post 62
First ASAS appearance: Post 386

The goddess of darkness from the Kid Icarus universe. Formerly allied with Scipion, then Valecor, then the Legion of Doom. She now leads her very own legion.

  • Cyclops: Her true appearance that she only reveals when angry or while showing her true powers. Getting rid of Palutena was not enough to suppress the curse.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Her true plan and its scale are completely unknown. Only the other High Sisters are aware of it.
  • The Leader: She created the Dark Sisterhood after the Legion of Doom's defeat.
  • Revenge: Against Palutena and Pit, as well as against Hades that was killed after failing the last trial in her tower. Also against the Legion of Doom after being betrayed by them. She eventually succeeds in taking them all out, but she seems to seek something else now.
  • The Smurfette Principle: She was the sole female member of the High Commands, something she lampshaded.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: After the Legion's defeat, she was nowhere to be seen. In truth, she was busy creating her own league.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Became a traitor to the Legion, like Lucemon. Unlike him, she didn't renounce her ambitions.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: Being the Queen of the Underworld, she can harvest souls and use them to turn them into minions.

    Cetrion

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cetrionmk11.png

A goddess of virtue and light. She comes from a timeline where she successfully took over the Hourglass and is independent of her mother.

    Kreia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kreia_kotorcg_8.jpg

A powerful force wielder. Also known as Darth Traya, the "Lord of Betrayal". She opposes both the Light and Dark Side of the Force.

  • Blind Seer: She uses the Force instead of her own eyes to see. She can predict the future (such as Dave's return, something she informed 6k1 of during their first meeting) and is by far the wisest of the High Sisters as well as the most cool-headed.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Similarly to Cetrion, although she despises both light and dark. She still sees her alliance as a way to achieve her own goals.

    Ultimecia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dff2015_ultimecia_render.png

A powerful and ambitious sorceress who wishes to rule all existence.

  • Time Master: One of her most well-known and dangerous abilities.
  • Wicked Cultured: She is known to appreciate art. She gets along with Drawcia rather well because of this.

    Eris

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a8a862bd4c044a6b1caf930662ac615e.jpg

The goddess of Discord and a former member of the Legion of Doom.

Other Sisters

    Zira

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zira.png

An evil lioness and former member of the Legion of Doom.

  • Adaptational Badass: Despite all of her cunning, she is ultimately just a lioness. As such, Medusa granted her more power so that she would be more useful.
  • Fastball Special: On the receiving end in Reboot Season 192 when Dimitri and Marianne threw a "dead" Doc at her.
  • Revenge: Against the nominators for thwarting the Legion of Doom and defeating Scar in the process.

    Queen Chrysalis and her army

Queen Chrysalis

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/queen_chrysalis_by_90sigma_d4xm1q62_3511.png

The former Changeling Queen who threatened Equestria twice. She comes from Pharynx's timeline where she did not ally herself with Tirek and Cozy Glow.

  • Ax-Crazy: She is way more obsessed with revenge than AR!Queen Chrysalis.
  • Evil Is Petty: Her arrogance tends to have her argue with many other of her allies.
  • Fantastic Racism: This Chrysalis hates the pony race with passion.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: She greatly resents her canon self for allying herself with Tirek and Cozy Glow and she despises AR!Chrysalis for surrendering to Gale and the ponies, considering her as a disgrace.
  • Replacement Goldfish: She views her new hive as this in a twisted way as unlike AR!Chrysalis she thinks of her Changelings as extensions of herself rather than individuals.

Pollux

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rffref.PNG
Click here to see his main disguise as Echo Craft

First ASAS appearance: Post 6267

Chrysalis's second-in-command and one of the few males in the Sisterhood.

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: One can distinguish him from other Changelings with his googles and his scarf.
  • Affably Evil: Unlike his queen and even though he's an expert at pretending to be friendly with others, he's really able to care about even his enemies and doesn't outright hate ponies.
  • Born of Magic: Pollux was created with magic and was fed with much more love than normal Changelings. Chrysalis also asked him to become her general right after he was Born as an Adult.
  • Expy: Of Neoptera. Unlike her, he is way more serious.
  • The Mole: His main mission is to infiltrate the nominators' ranks.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Chrysalis since she created him, and he will obey her without any question.

    Chara

Art by Lalalaleng

First ASAS appearance: Post 4566

The first fallen human from the Underground and one of Ichi's former tributes. They were supposedly inside Frisk but were freed thanks to Medusa's magic.

  • Adaptation Personality Change: Their personality here is a fusion between their original personality and their more psychotic one from the Genocide route.
  • Ambiguous Gender: They are the only sister who is not 100% female, except Mother Brain who is technically an AI.
  • Ascended Extra: Out of the Sisterhood members, they're the one given as much focus as the High Sisters, especially when Asriel is involved.
  • Creepy Child: The smile they usually carry is off and they are surprisingly well-spoken for their age. The fact that they can be somewhat calm even if angered and their infamous Nightmare Face doesn't help at all.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Doesn't appreciate Sans not crediting them for saving Asriel when he recounts how 6k1 did so after Scipion's party.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: They are somewhat close to Shriek. Most importantly, they still care about their adoptive sibling Asriel that they saved twice: the first time in the canon game, the second time with their locket during Scipion's party. The Sisterhood plans to use this relationship to turn Asriel against the nominators.
  • A Fate Worse Than Death: After their first death, they were sentenced to travel with countless Frisks as a disembodied voice, including many who committed Genocide, until they possessed ASAS!Frisk.
  • Flashy Teleportation: They can teleport by glitching in and out.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The Responsible Sibling to Asriel's Foolish, at least during the 6th Anniversary Festival, where they looked out for him while they traveled from New Home back to the Ruins.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Absolutely hates the nominators (with Ichi and Dave being somewhat exceptions), 6k1 being at the top of their hate list. They accuse her of stealing their family, ruining the Underground alongside the other nominators with the HGS and the various multiversal plots, and considers her as a complete failure of a sister.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Due to Sans's contempt with them, he calls them "Fallen".
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Was legitimately shocked when Asgore killed Ralsei in Reboot Season 220. While they're used to violence, the fact that their father murdered someone who looked like Asriel reminded them of themself slashing Flowey in an alternate timeline. Asriel's murder of Asgore and his Karmic Death to the horde of zombies led posthumously by Toriel after he accidentally resurrected them while trying to bring back Asgore was then taken personally by Chara.
  • Our Monsters Are Different: Eris turned them into a fusion between a Boss Monster like Asriel and his family, and their original look, much to their delight. It was done in order for them to spend time with him freely during the Underground Festival arc.
  • Shipper on Deck: Platonic example. They respect Ichigo and Power's great friendship, seeing a bit of themselves and Asriel within them.
  • Spock Speak: They tend to talk formally, calling others by their full names and without using contractions.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Back when they were alive, they saw the entirety of humanity as a threat to monsters, hence why they wanted them all dead after crossing the barrier with Asriel. Their new plan may go even further than that with the Undertale universe being involved with the Multiverse.

    Shriek

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tyler_hunter_potallimage.jpg

First ASAS appearance: Post 4566

A mutated and destructive owl and Chara's favorite partner.

  • Berserk Button: Anything cute (like Mimi) angers her a lot because it reminds her of her defeat by Ori's previous incarnation. She also hates anything related to her past.
  • The Brute: Alongside Cynder, she serves at the Dark Sister's mainstay. She also can't help but lash out at everything she sees.
  • Female Monster Surprise: Alex was surprised that Arthur knew she was a girl when she crashed Scipion's party. The Decidueye chalked it up to "bird instinct".
  • Magnetism Manipulation: Gained the ability to control metal in Reboot Season 178. It's unknown if she kept it or not after she died.
  • Ominous Owl: Her corruption by the Decay turned this giant bird into a giant Animalistic Abomination.
  • Team Pet: She serves as the Dark Sisterhood's animal companion, not counting the other Mooks/King Mooks.
  • Undying Loyalty: To the other Dark Sisters, but especially to Chara, being very close with the first fallen child.

    Other members

The Gospel of Rubyfrost

    Rubyfrost

First ASAS appearance: Post 3260

A powerful demoness who granted Akumo his powers and serves as his master. She also leads the wicked Sour Tart Army.

  • Edible Theme Naming: She is named after a type of apple.
  • Emotion Eater: She feeds off the goodwill and happiness of naive humans to her own benefit.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She looks like an 18-year-old girl but apparently is an ancient demon.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Trapped in her own dimension by Blueberry and can only have her seal be broken with nominator blood.

    Gala

First ASAS appearance: Post 3260

Rubyfrost's right-hand man and her head guard.

Akumo's Dimension

    Akumo

First CVG appearance: Post 3394 (unnamed)
First ASAS appearance: Post 50

A timeline traveler who has a bitter hatred towards Tabby.

  • Arch-Enemy: To Tabby, as he had been hunting her down since the beginning of ASAS.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Was one of the major villains in ASAS and was last seen planning to exact revenge on Noire for hooking up with Tabby, but was never seen again.
  • Clone Army: He can manipulate shadows and turn them into clones of any gender, and can also give them emotions if he puts effort into them. This was how he created Noire.
  • Dark Is Evil: Even in his name and appearance, you can tell what type of character he is.
  • Demonic Possession: Attempted this twice on Tabby: once during Billy's party, and again after invading her base during her lockdown, but he was purged out of her by Billy's Stand and literal invoked Sweet Dreams Fuel, respectively. He can only read minds while doing this.
  • Demon of Human Origin: In the Original Timeline, he used to be an unusually pinkish grey-skinned human called Daimon.
  • Depraved Bisexual: He created Noire to lust on her after Tabby left him. He would've made her a guy and still would've found him "hot" nonetheless.
  • Evil Former Friend: He used to be Tabby's Only Friend in the OT, only for it to fall apart quite easily.
  • Forceful Kiss: Did one of these on Tabby, who is a lesbian, while infiltrating the Database Library.
  • Humanoid Abomination: He's a demonic being who was formed during the Great Destruction.
  • Make Wrong What Once Went Right: Is desperate to find a timeline in which he beats Tabby once and for all.
  • Meaningful Rename: He changed his name from "Daimon" to "Akumo" because the former sounded plain to him.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: "Akumo" is a corruption of the Japanese word for "devil" ("akuma"), or a portmanteau of that and the Japanese word for "cloud" ("kumo"), which reflects his ability to turn into smoke. His past self was named Daimon, which sounds like "demon".
  • Odd Name Out: Doesn't go by the Edible Theme Naming of the rest of Rubyfrost's pupils.
  • Psycho Ex-Boyfriend: Only agreed to work with Noire out of personal gain, and will do anything to get her back once she broke up with him for good and hooked up with Tabby.
  • Shock and Awe: He uses electric shocks to torture his victims.
  • "Shut Up" Kiss: Got one from his second clone Lunwick when he ratted out to Tabby about wanting to join the second Voidlands trip.
  • Super Smoke: He takes this form most of the time, especially for spying.
  • Taking You with Me: How he wants his plan to defeat Tabby to go. He doesn't a have purpose in life anymore once she's gone and can finally die happy.
  • Telepathy: He can send telepathic messages to others, but can only read their minds if he possesses them.
  • Unknown Rival: In the reboot timeline, Tabby doesn’t know who he is and why is he hunting her down. It's revealed that he used to be her Only Friend Daimon, and they had a falling out when Tabby made a contract with Kyubey to become a Magical Girl.

    Noire

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/noire_by_tabbygirl4_half_body.png
(art by Tabby Girl 4)

First ASAS appearance: Post 1458

Akumo's ex who has agreed to help him defeat Tabby once and for all.

  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Was one of the few villains in ASAS who underwent a Heel–Face Turn, but was last seen celebrating Christmas with Tabby and was never seen again.
  • Clone Angst: When Akumo revealed to her that she was a frail shadow clone of an alternate Tabby only made to fuel his obsession for her, she needed alcohol. She eventually had feelings for Tabby and resolved to break up with Akumo for real and become her own, better person for her, even having her body transferred to a Replica Vessel to stabilize it.
  • Defecting for Love: Despite realizing that she had feelings for Tabby, she was forced to stay with Akumo with his plan to sacrifice Tabby to Rubyfrost to free the latter from her imprisonment. When Noire was made to complete the ritual, however, she broke down in tears and carried Tabby away from Akumo, refusing to kill her lover, and they officially became a couple after escaping.
  • Femme Fatale: Is Akumo's right hand and has the alluring looks to go with it.
  • Living Shadow: It's revealed that she was a personified shadow of a Tabby from a different timeline shaped in Akumo's image to be a possible Love Interest to him.
  • Make-Out Kids: Ever since hooking up with Tabby, she can't stop kissing her in public, much to 6k1's discomfort.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Her name is the feminine form of the French word for "black", the color of shadows. It also sounds like Tabby's birth name "Nora", and she's a personification of the shadow of her Alternate Self.
  • Perfect Disguise, Terrible Acting: Despite shapeshifting to perfectly look like the target, she's bad at acting like them, with her lies giving away her true identity.
  • Shapeshifting Lover: Is this to Tabby, and she copied her powers from her after making out with her.
  • Telepathy: She possesses extensive mind-reading, communication, and viewing of locations from afar far better than Akumo.
  • The Transmogrifier: She can disguise others by transforming them, like when she turned Akumo into an attractive man when they went to a hotel in District 2.
  • True Blue Femininity: Technically teal, but her color motif is this.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: She can disguise herself as other people, like when she tried to infiltrate Tabby's ward to try capturing her. This power transferred to Tabby after she touched Noire.
  • Working with the Ex: Agreed to work with Akumo to get back at Tabby much stronger. She also did this to get back together with him. After his imprisonment, she realized that she was denying her love for Tabby, but has to stay with him for her life.

Lumina's Forces

    Lumina

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lumina_0.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 1653 (unnamed)

An otherworldly giant siphonophore-like entity. Formerly a heroic and justified being, various past events and tragedy after tragedy has warped her into what she is now. She gathers the souls of those from the worlds she visits. Believing herself to do justice, she tries to affect the inhabitants of Panem.

The Crystal Beasts

Mysterious, yet dangerous creatures spawned by Lumina, a giant siphonophore-like being. They are quite powerful, and hide in their own pocket dimensions. Here, they spawn smaller minions to overwhelm those who enter, or they just deal with them by themselves.

    The Mage Beast

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/monster_53.png
The Mage Beast, with a curious nature.

First ASAS appearance: Post 3450

The first Crystal Beast encountered by Kirby and co., and a sign of what's to come.

With a curious, naive nature, she wanders through her pocket dimension searching for knowledge of the world. Possessing witch-like spells, she pulls things she deems worthy for picking... which sometimes includes humans, as the staff of the Winter's End could attest. The seems to have a fondness for female mages, or witches/magical girls; having a female with magical powers facing her would catch her offguard.

The four phantoms from Breath of the Wild. They are working with "Scattered Brain" for an unknown reason.

  • Adaptational Intelligence: In the original games, they were mindless creatures created by Calamity Ganon only to kill. Here all of them are independent, scheming, and even have their own personalities.
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: They've all managed to develop a "human" form allowing them to speak without trouble. They are based on the Champions of Hyrule that they slaughtered in the original game.
  • Character Catchphrase: They all have the tendency to always refer to them as "we/us, Blights". They also keep saying "We will meet again" before leaving.
  • Elite Four: They've all proved to be fearsome and merciless in battle.
  • Hate Plague: Pretty much what the Blights and, by extension, Malice is. When the substance is not absorbing people alive, it can cause hallucinations, pull Mind Rapes and make them more beastly and aggressive. At worst, it can outright possess its victims. Asriel/Flowey and Knox (to a much lesser extent) have been on the receiving end of their corruption.
  • Healing Factor: They can all regenerate and heal minor wounds.
  • Hell Is That Noise: Much like in-game, they communicate with unholy shrieks and other eldritch noises. Even in their mortal forms, they are able to produce such noises and their voices are still eldritch to hear.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Their current plan, if they have one, is a complete mystery. They were usually seen monitoring various events. They also seem to know a lot about even the three entities.
  • It Can Think: The Blights may be eldritch monsters, but here, they are highly intelligent. The Malice from which they're made of can also think on its own.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: After trying to corrupt Asriel to do their bidding, they got temporarily sealed away by "Scattered Brain" inside Xiamos's old temple, preventing them from tracking down other characters. The Windblight then sowed the first seeds of doubt into Knox before mysteriously disappearing.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With "Scattered Brain", giving how different their personalities are and how his actions would hinder them.
  • Turns Red: Their forms from Hyrule Warriors Ageof Calamity serves as this. They are referred to as their primal states.
  • The Power of Hate: They are literally made of Malice, hatred given form and they all hold grudges against every living creature, AKA everyone.
  • The Starscream: Downplayed since they seem to be loyal to "Scattered Brain" and that they're more partners to him than minions. However, they have a low opinion of him, think of him as a fool, and will not hesitate to do their own plans.

    Waterblight Ganon

The first Phantom to show itself and the youngest of the bunch. It ambushed 6k1, creating a scar in her chest but seems to act friendly towards her for now.

  • Affably Evil: Downplayed. It's still threatening and evil like its siblings. But given that it's the youngest of the Blights, it's the one who is able to act the most "friendly" towards others, usually out of curiosity.
  • Jump Scare: It has the tendency to appear out of nowhere, surprising people. Ambushing people is also its main strategy.
  • The Medic: It's the only Blight who is able to heal others. It's probable this ability was stolen from the champion that it once killed.
  • Odd Friendship: With Mimi, although she's still scared of the monster for very good reasons. It is also the friendliest Blight towards the nominator in general.

    Fireblight Ganon

The bulkiest of the Blights. By far the most physically strong of them. It has recently taken some interest in Bale, watching him from afar.

  • Blood Knight: This Blight is the one who values the most mental and physical strength. It also enjoys fights.
  • Mighty Glacier: It's slow, but its destructive powers are great, as its resistance and being able to walk into lava easily.
  • Noble Demon: Played with. It usually leaves itself wide open just to feel its opponents' strength. It revived Ally after her first defeat against the 'Brijes, just for the sake of fighting her afterward and can commend others' strength or courage, like when Colby stood up against it. It was also furious when Asriel kept sparing him even when he was in his Hyperdeath form.

    Windblight Ganon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/botw_windblight_ganon_model_4.png
Click here to see its primal form
The biggest of the Blights. It's also by far the smartest and the most cunning.

  • Demonic Possession: It had some of its Malice invading Knox's mind despite being sealed away. With this, it tries to turn him into a brutal puppet, manipulating him against the other Stanford and the nominators.
  • The Chessmaster: Was cunning enough to work with Porky, despite him being in Terminus's league and manipulated Giegue into becoming Giygas at the end of the Sayaka's arc.
  • Hero Killer: Alongside the Fireblight when they destroyed Ally. Downplayed, however, as she survives.
  • Mad Scientist: It was once seen surrounded by various devices. Its drones are also used for a lot more things, like spying or create minions for it.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Easily the evilest of the Blights. This one wants to cause as much suffering as possible and is a skilled manipulator. It never misses one occasion to mock people or make them suffer.

    Thunderblight Ganon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/botw_thunderblight_ganon_model_2_5.png
Click here to see its primal form

The smallest and oldest of the four Phantom, but also the fastest and by far the most dangerous of them.

  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Disposed of Dark Scipion very easily offscreen and sentenced him to a Fate Worse than Death alongside the rest of Timewrecker's army that wasn't captured by Genesis.
  • The Dreaded: Even its own siblings know to not get in its way when it is angry, as demonstrated when it violently attacked Asriel.
  • Implacable Man: This Blight is the most hateful of the four never stops attacking until its opponents are dead. In that sense, its personality is the closest one to the Blights in the original game. It would gladly attack directly heroes and villains, were it not for Scattered brain.
  • Knight of Cerebus: The Blight Ganons are already some of the darkest villains in ASAS, but the Thunderblight easily steals the crown by being a merciless killing machine.
  • Super-Speed: Not only is it fast, it also seeks to finish its battles as quickly as possible.

"Scattered Brain"

    "Scattered Brain"
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/611px_blot_by_papayakitty.png

The Undead Scipion from the Original Timeline. He was responsible for the Great Destruction. It's unknown how he survived.

  • Ambiguously Evil: On one hand, he is "allied" with the Blight Ganons, and he is insane. But on the other hand, he isn't outright evil and can prove to be rather "nice", especially towards the nominators that he keeps calling his "friends". He also helps other villains when he feels like it, like when he advised the 'Brijes and Wednesday after the Ring Arc. He also helped Lucian get inside Dark Stanford's lair to save Oscar.
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: After his first death, his eyes gained a dark color, showing his insanity and instability.
  • Body Horror: He is a mummified Zoroark with a rather fragile, yet very mobile body.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: His mental state is... screwed up, to say the least. He also seems to be unaware of basic things like climbing downstairs.
  • Came Back Wrong: His resurrected state is... Not right.
  • Character Catchphrase: "So many possibilities..." It's a reference to the name of the current HGS main thread.
  • Destroyer Deity: Was responsible for the destruction of the OT Timeline. It's implied he became even more powerful afterward.
  • Foil: To the Blight Ganons. They are both eldritch in a way but while they're dark and serious creatures made of hatred who hate even other villains, he is far more crazy and friendly. He also keeps restraining the Blights' actions and abilities all for the sake of "fairness" and outright saved Ally from being completely destroyed by the Windblight.
  • Giggling Villain: He chuckles a lot, sometimes for absolutely no reason.
  • Glowing Eyelights of Undeath: In the shadows, his yellow pupils serve as this.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Nothing about his true powers, his past, or his motivations is known. But to be fair it's implied he doesn't even have an agenda.
  • It Amused Me: His destruction of the OT Timeline in hindsight is this for him.
  • Medium Awareness: Somewhat. Is aware of the meta aspects of the HGS threads, both the main one (Beyond the Possibilities) and the RP (CVG/ASAS), using terminologies such as "seasons" and "arcs" to discuss everything that happens in the Multiverse.
  • Mummy: He's a Zoroark wrapped in bandages, just like one.
  • No One Could Survive That!: The Great Destruction resulted in the collapse of the Original Timeline and an alternate version of Ness erased him from existence. Yet, he survived.
  • No Social Skills: Having been out of the loop about the Reboot Timeline for so long, he doesn't know how to interact with other people. He thinks visiting his "friends" involves snooping into their business, stripping himself in public to change "clothes" is okay, and scaring the living daylights out of others by transforming into an Eldritch Abomination and eating Aaron for his Halloween act, for example, is appropriate entertainment. Granted, he is slowly learning from each of his mistakes.
  • Perpetual Smiler: It's hidden behind his bandages, but he always carries a huge Cheshire Cat Grin.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Possibly, he was psychopathic and bloodthirsty in the past but nowadays appears more interested in watching over the Nominators and the Hunger Games more than anything.
  • The Omniscient: Zigzagged. It's implied that he knows a lot of things about every single other character, including powerful ones. However, he almost makes no use of such knowledge, knowing how much of a Story-Breaker Power it is, and refuses to tell the Blights too much, knowing that they might use such information for their own destructive deeds. Sometimes, he literally forbids himself to know anything because it would spoil everything for him.
  • Time Master: Hinted at since he offered to reset the events of Wednesday and Lucian's escape from Dark Stanford's lab, but they refused because Wednesday didn't want to go back to working for his boss while Lucian wanted to rescue the former even if it was dangerous.
  • You Can't Kill What's Already Dead: Mewtwo tried to kill him on spot. It didn't work.

Kyurem and co.

Click here to see Black Kyurem
Click here to see Vahirom (Art by ky-nim)

The third member of the Tao Trio and an Empty Shell that seeks to regain its original form. It's the main antagonist of the Phoebe's arc, alongside Phoebe-V.

  • The Assimilator: Kyurem's desire is to assimilate Zekrom and Reshiram alongside the DNA Splicers back into itself so that it can regain its true form.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Alongside Phoebe-V since she freed it from its prison to get its help to further her goals.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Being unable to feel, Kyurem cannot feel remorse at all for every horrible deeds it has commited. In its normal form, it has killed countless Pokémons who came too close simply to make them feel the same emptiness within it. Fusing with Reshiram and Zekrom only improved its obsession for being whole again. As Vahirom, it isn't emotive in the first place and is dedicated to its task to preserve peace between Pokémons to the point of destroying the world and reset life back to zero.
  • Establishing Character Moment: Kyurem's first appearance is a brutal one, slaughtering mercilessly an exploration team.
  • Evil Is Not a Toy: Phoebe-V learns this the hard way after helping Kyurem turning into Vahirom. The latter immediately turns against her for all of her crimes, seeing her as the symbol of the world's corruption.
  • The Fatalist: The reason Vahirom got split up in the first place was because it wanted to destroy the world to cleanse it of the evil Pokémon it has been fighting for a long time. Vahirom is also a firm believer that fate cannot be defied.
  • Fusion Dance: It can fuse with Reshiram or Zekrom to become White Kyurem or Black Kyurem, respectively using the DNA Splicers. Thanks to Evil Phoebe's magic during their battle with them, Kyurem can do this even without the DNA Splicers, and it can fuse with both Reshiram and Zekrom to voluntarily switch between its two fused forms, but still needs the Splicers to regain its original body. It eventually turns back to Vahirom at Phoebe's arc climax.
  • An Ice Person: Only as Kyurem. It is so cold that anyone unprepared that comes too close to it ends up being frozen. Its attacks are so cold, only Reshiram's Blue Flare can thaw them out, and only he and Zekrom can counter its blizzard.
  • Implacable Man: Kyurem has proven itself to be relentless. Its lack of emotions are helping a lot in that regard.
  • Mind Reading: More precisely heart reading. Kyurem has the capability to see through anybody's heart, can distinguish good and evil alike and know their deepest desires. As Vahirom, those powers go as far as to predict one's fate through their hearts.
  • Noble Demon: Instead of going on a rampage immediately, Vahirom instead defy the heroes after they try to convince it not to destroy the world to see if they would be able to defy fate and save the world from its wrath. Vahirom is cold, yet an honorable being who took its job as keeper of peace seriously. When the heroes defeated it, it acknowledged their strength and healed them before disappearing
  • Our Zombies Are Different: Kyurem is an undead frozen dragon, completely unable to feel and having lost practically all of its memories. It can't even remember its original name.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: It was sealed inside the Void Peak by Reshiram and Zekrom after their first battle with it centuries ago. Phoebe-V released it and accepted to help it after it granted her a portion of its power.
  • The Speechless: With its mouth frozen, Kyurem is only able to communicate with muffled grunts and roars. It gains the ability to speak when it fused with both Reshiram and Zekrom in their battle, but still have trouble speaking coherently. Only in its true form, can Vahirom speak properly.
  • Voice of the Legion: Only as Black/White Kyurem, with its voice being accompanied by Reshiram/Zekrom's one respectively.

    Kyurem's cult

First ASAS appearance: Post 8498

A group of seven fanatical Pokémons who worship Kyurem and wish for it to regain its true form.

  • Apocalypse Cult: Whatever the reason is for them to help Kyurem return back to its form, it is no good. In fact, they are all aware of Vahirom's genocidal intentions and they all support it, Cheops being fanatically loyal to his Master and sharing its belief, the others having suffered because of bad Pokémons in their past.
  • Heel–Face Turn: They all were convinced to reform themselves after their defeat. Most notably, Nobuo was advised by Cheops to become a rescuer.
  • Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: They believe that destroying all worlds to purge them of evil and remake them without it will let them live better lives after being abused, but the heroes all called them out for it as they believed that there's a peaceful way to resolve it. However, they refused to listen to them and insisted that what they're doing is right.
  • Undying Loyalty: All of them are fiercely loyal to their Master.

Cheops

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/600px_563cofagrigus_1.png
Click here to see him without his coffin, Art by pokeluka

The Leader of the cult. He's the one who advised Phoebe-V to seek out Kyurem.

  • Chained Heat: As punishment for attempting to destroy the PMD Worlds, he can't stray farther than 2 miles from Kyurem.
  • Connected All Along: He turns out to be an old friend of Persephone.
  • Hand Rubbing: One of his tics when things go according to his plans.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Tricked Phoebe-V into resurrecting Vahirom with promises of power, while hiding from her the dragon's real intentions. He also convinced the heroes that they're "evil" for interfering with their plans to resurrect Vahirom and forced them to surrender lest they die trying. After Vahirom's defeat however, he is the first one to submit to the heroes's judgment because of his Master's wishes.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Fittingly for a Pokémon based on a sarcophagus, he's named after Khufu, the second pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty, whose Hellenized name is "Cheops".
  • Really 700 Years Old: Cheops is around the same ridiculously old age as Persephone. He also served at Kyurem's high priest back when it was the Original Dragon, and is the strongest of the cultists.
  • Super Mode: A bit like Persephone, Kyurem's blessing allows Cheops to change form. In his case, he outright breaks out of his coffin and grows a new body, restoring his past strength and speed. Armed with six hands, he can use several attacks at once too.

Nobuo

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pokemon_samurott.png

The Dragon to Cheops, and a cruel Hisuian Samurott.

  • Combat Pragmatist: Nobuo is a cold-blooded killer and isn't afraid to performs low blows as long as he can win.
  • Defiant to the End: After Vahirom was defeated, the other cultists surrendered and accepted whatever punishment Arceus-W will do to them, but Nobuo refused to yield. Aaron had to warn him that he either tries reforming for Anna's sake or die trying to continue defying the heroes so he could finally concede.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: He was betrayed by his old clan and left for dead for "worthless power struggles", and he seeks to destroy the world as payback.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Lost his adopted daughter Anna, who was mentally ill, in the clan war, and nearly committed suicide out of grief, but Yip-Yop intervened.
  • Parental Abandonment: Implied since Anna was his only family left before she died and he doesn't see the other cultists as family.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: While he conceded to his punishment for his crimes, he's still the cold-hearted Samurott even after becoming a rescuer and forming the Black Stars with Nina the Cacturne.
  • The Stoic: Compared to his comrades, Nobuo is by far the most serious one.

Obio

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/600px_579reuniclus.png

A cheerful Reuniclus and the nicest one of the bunch.

  • Badass Adorable: He may be the cutest and kindest of the cult, but don't be mistaken. Not only does he has strong psychic powers, but his arms are physically strong too.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Obio is the most cheerful of the cult, even when battling opponents.
  • Taking Advantage of Generosity: On the receiving end, as despite his kindness in the past, evil Pokémon exploited him for their own gain.

Tidus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/600px_590foongus.png

A young, mute Foongus.

Goliath

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/558crustle_dream.png

A quiet Crustle, and one of the cult's physical assets alongside Rick.

  • All of the Other Reindeer: Was bullied as a young Dwebble for his shyness, which is why he's very conscious of his shell.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Goliath may be quiet and mainly defensive, but should he be forced to use Shell Smash and break its shell, he will become berserk.
  • Gentle Giant: Goliath speaks surprisingly very quietly and doesn't speaks his mind often.
  • Wardrobe Wound: Got upset when James slashed his shell with a knife and taunted him that looks don't matter in a battle since it was just armor. This provoked Goliath into using Shell Smash and retaliating at him.

Rick

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/604eelektross_dream.png

The Brute of the team and a Wild Eelektross.

  • Ax-Crazy: Rick is the biggest Pokémon of the team, and is prone to lash out at everything whenever he gets mad.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals: On the receiving end. He was abused by his caretaker and forced to participate in arena fights before being abandoned like garbage.
  • Team Pet: Downplayed. Rick is on the same level as the other cultists and shares their goal. However, he's the only one who is a wild Pokémon.

Yip-Yop

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/600px_584vanilluxe.png

A Vanilluxe, and the weirdest of the bunch.

  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: They are both rather crazy and stupid, but are powerful when the two heads manage to work together.
  • Finishing Each Other's Sentences: Their manner of speaking since they're a two-headed mon.
  • Fusion Dance: Yip and Yop used to be Vanillish, but evil Pokémon captured them and forced them to merge and evolve into Vanilluxe, unlike other Vanillish, which willingly fuse with one another to evolve.
  • Multiple Head Case: The right head is Yip, while Yop is the left one, and they often argue with each other.

Unaffiliated/Independent

     Joe
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/joe_15.jpg
A mutated pilot fish, who's been resurrected by Bale and pulled into AR Equestria by the Legion of Doom's Multiversal Convergence.
  • Adaptation Expansion: In Help! I'm a Fish, Joe only acquired the ability to speak and sapience through the Antidote potion, here it also granted him the ability to survive in both saltwater and fresh water.
  • Arc Villain: For Crimson Gale's short Arc.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: With Squirk for Gale's arc.
  • Uplifted Animal: Was granted human-like intelligence and sapience by a special potion. He later begins making an army out of uplifted fish with said potion.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Was vaporized by Grogar after the former recruited Squirk into the latter's legion.

     Squirk

Headcanon Voice: Ben Mendelsohn
A massive red octopus and one of Grogar's old minions who is reawakened by Joe to help in his plot. Though he gladly rejoins his master when he arrives to conquer his world.
  • The Dragon: Plays this role to Grogar as his most active and loyal minion.
  • Evil Old Folks: Every bit as old as Grogar and very vile.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Was sealed in the depths of Seaquestria at some point in the past before being broken out by Joe.
  • Tentacled Terror: An evil magic-wielding octopus. Enough said.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Grogar, he only accedes to help Joe when the latter proves he's being supported by the former.

    Vriska Serket
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arachnidsGrip_8151.gif

First ASAS appearance: Post 1366

The prideful, sociopathic blueblood troll who was nominated with Sans and Halloween Hack!Dr. Andonuts as the Bad Time Squad in Reboot Season 89. She and Sans hated each other's guts the entire season, and after she was revived, preventive measures were made to ensure that she couldn't harass him again. She's also one of 6k1's former tributes, but she doesn't seem to care about her original nominator.

  • Arc Villain: She and Andonuts were this in Season 89, antagonizing Sans the entire time.
  • Arch-Enemy:
    • With Sans, since she kept insulting him for most of Season 89. Sans tried to tolerate her and befriend her to defuse their rivalry, but she refused.
    • Also with General Kalani in the same season. When he declared the Bad Time Squad as his Soul Friends, she declared that they were "h8friends" instead. Kalani also tricked the Squad into unleashing an evil spirit onto the Arena by leading them to a tree containing the chest that locked it away, only for Andonuts to steal the treasure for himself despite Vriska's objections.
  • Brought Down to Normal: After she was revived, 6k1's scientists stripped her off her God Tier powers and suppressed her Psychic Powers so that she couldn't try to brainwash Sans across universes upon being sent home. It's not guaranteed that the effects would work since she might gain them back thanks to the advancement of troll technology, which was the case when she returned in Reboot Season 149.
  • Chained Heat: Was forced to work together with Sans in Season 89 because the group tribute barrier prevented them from separating.
  • Deadly Gas: Inhaled some released by Yasha in Reboot Season 216, causing her to break out in thorny vines.
  • Demoted to Extra: After 6k1 punished her after her run in Season 89, she has only showed up in the Arena, presumably under other nominators.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Said this almost word-for-word when Sans tried comforting her over the death of her flushed crush Nicolas Cage in Season 89.
  • Fantastic Racism: When Sans talked to Power Stroke while he was on the podium in Season 89, Vriska was disgusted that he was talking to a "hoof8east"note  and referred to Power as an "it".
  • Lame Pun Reaction: Hated Sans's puns and the concept of the Blue Pun Clan, despite cracking one to Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu and Eri Kitamura in Reboot Season 8. She only tolerated Equius's puns because they was part of his Typing Quirk.
  • Our Gods Are Different: Was in her God Tier form in Seasons 89 and 149, which amplified her Psychic Powers and gave her wings.
  • Swiper, No Swiping!: The four pairs of Link and Zelda couples attempted this on her in Season 216, but that didn't stop her from killing and looting them.
  • Verbal Tic: She tends to say "8luh!" when frustrated.
  • Yandere: Was so obsessed with Cage in Season 89 that she killed John Prodman for insulting him and got into a fight with Giovanni Potage when he was crushing on Cage, too.

    Giygas
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/artworks_000075976558_iiv78l_t500x500.jpg
(Art by SinistarLives)
Giegue's alter-ego born from his hatred for humans and his greed for power. It, unfortunately, has been resurrected alongside Giegue.
  • Almighty Idiot: Like in canon, it's the embodiment of this trope.
  • Ambiguous Situation: After data cloning was made mandatory for all tributes starting in Season 258, it's unknown if his appearance in Season 296 is the same one as the one Scipion knows. It's also unknown if Mr. Star nominated him since he isn't shown to be nominating villains often.
  • Battle in the Center of the Mind: To prevent the Legion of Doom from trying to free it, Giegue and Mewtwo had to confront it and save Niiue.
  • Did You Just Scam Cthulhu?: Porky and the Windblight released it to attack the nominators at the end of Sayaka's rescue arc.
  • Mind Rape: One of its main methods of attacks.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: It's currently dormant inside Giegue's mind, though it attempted to take control several times before. It eventually got free after the Windblight and Porky Minch teamed up to release it, but was sealed back again, being unable to be completely destroyed.
  • Undignified Death: Suffered one in Reboot Season 203 when he fell from a wind turbine to his death.

    Freyja and Nyx

Freyja

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/blazikenfull1343931.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 1711

A female Blaziken. She's a serial killer almost as infamous as Scipion and is a cold-blooded Bounty Hunter.

  • Anti-Hero: While introduced as a villain, her role slowly slides towards this as she befriended Knox, culminating in her accepting to help Joaquin to save his father.
  • Baritone of Strength: She has a deep voice and can kick your ass if you double-cross her.
  • The Baroness: She's cold, cruel, and powerful. She is also determined to kill her foes, even if badly hurt.
  • Born into Slavery: Served Ho-oh since birth but hated her job as a priestess, only working for him out of fear that she'd be rejected.
  • The Cynic: For her, the world is nothing more but a killing game in which only the strongest can rule. She despises weak people and betrayers, which is why she prefers working alone, with only Nyx by her side.
  • Dark Action Girl: She is not afraid to get her hands dirty. She's also one of the rare female villains of Scipion's homeworld.
  • Deadpan Snarker: She's very sarcastic when she gets worked up or things don't go her way.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The only person she shows genuine concern for is Nyx. She also somewhat understands and gets along with Knox even though that doesn't stop her from being harsh to him. She also tolerates the other 'Brijes and Wednesday.
  • Face–Heel Turn: She was a former priestess of Ho-Oh, but she eventually left because she was much happier killing people and because of her cynical vision of the world.
  • Fiery Stoic: A Fire-type Pokémon who's stone-cold instead of outgoing.
  • Foil: to Scipion. Both are brutal serial killers but while he's arrogant, sadistic, and short-tempered, she is more humble, cold, calm, efficient, and doesn't waste her time torturing her opponents. In a way, she's even more deadly than the Zoroark.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: She doesn't let her Dark and Troubled Past turn her into an insane villain despite her cynical view of the world. Because of this, she was disgusted by Blood Moon forcing Knox to kill Joaquin just to let him know what it's like to be in his shoes.
  • Groin Attack: Gave a well-deserved one to Scipion by kneeing him in the groin.
  • Healing Potion: She can create a liquid that can heal most wounds and give some boost to the body. She learned it from Nyx.
  • I Work Alone: As demonstrated with the 'Brijes, Wednesday, Bonnie and Clyde, she can work with others, but she will not care about her temporary allies as long as she gets her job done and won't hesitate to treat them like trash. Nyx is the only exception since she's the only person she can fully trust.
  • Nerves of Steel: As a hardened bounty hunter, danger doesn't faze her at all. She doesn't even flinch in thunderstorms such as those in ZDR.
  • Perpetual Frowner: She never smiles and is usually very stoic. The only time she does is after her friend Knox successfully defeats Blood Moon with the help of Joaquin, who gave him the encouragement from inside his mind.
  • Rape as Backstory: The Darmanitan whom she looked up to as a young Torchic raped her several times and threatened to throw her out of the temple if she told anyone. And even if she begged for help, nobody believed her, as they were admiring him too much and refused to accept the truth.
  • Red Baron: Pokémon who feared her the most called her "The Ember Empress".
  • Rugged Scar: She has one cut on one of her eyes from the Darmanitan whom she killed in revenge for abusing her.
  • Smoking Is Cool: She is sometimes seen smoking to look more badass, and doesn't care if she smokes in non-smoking areas.
  • Super Mode: Managed to Mega Evolve with the Red Orb. Now, she can do so by herself without a stone thanks to Kyogre and Groudon's blessing.
  • Thinking Up Portals: Like Scipion and Aaron, she can summon portals to travel the Multiverse.

First ASAS appearance: Post 4904

A female Absol and Freyja's only companion.

  • Affably Evil: Unlike Freyja, she is not against doing some good despite her evil nature. She shows this by healing Wednesday after the Thievul was about to be drowned by Flowey.
  • Druid: Somewhat. She's calculating, can create healing elixirs like when she healed Wednesday, can feel and speak with the nature around her and can have visions of the future.
  • I Have No Son!: Her parents kicked her out because they were expecting a boy and believed she was a witch due to her powers.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She's the Blue Oni to Freyja. While the Blaziken is ruthless, cold, and rude, she's friendlier, less brutal. She's also the only one Freyja would listen to and seems to have a small spot for.
  • Red Baron: Pokémon who feared her the most called her the "Night Sister".
  • Reluctant Warrior: She doesn't like fighting, but she's quite good at it, and will only kill people who deserve it.
  • Seers: She's able to somewhat predict and feel the future by herself, although it works better with her magic.
  • Self-Made Orphan: It's implied that she and Freyja killed the former's parents as payback for rejecting her.
  • Super Mode: She can Mega Evolve thanks to her Absolite.

    Marx

Hehehe...

First CVG appearance: Post 12
First ASAS appearance: Post 121

An arch-rival of Kirby, who once tricked Kirby to collect stars for him so he could wish to rule Planet Popstar, but Kirby ultimately stops him. He has been trying to clobber that there Kirby, but recent developments forced him to find new allies... which potentially includes Kirby himself.

  • Evil Versus Oblivion: Despite being a cutesy eldritch creature who enjoys chaos, he decided to secretly form a temporary alliance with Kirby and fight against the Legion of Doom because he draws the line against destroying universes. And speaking of which, when he nominated the universe for Reboot Season 108, it was another one instead of the "main" universe, and it was revived with a special devicenote  after the season.
  • Enemy Mine: Temporarily allied with Kirby to fight the Legion of Doom, but was mistaken for the enemy by Arthur and was shot. Magolor explained his intentions, however, so Marx was accepted, albeit reluctantly.
  • Villain Team-Up: Temporarily with Unfortunate Zorua just to cause mischief, but then the latter unleashed the Outerverse and Tier 0 into the Arena. It's implied that he broke off his alliance with them after finding out about their plans.

    "The Vixen Goddess"

(art by Smiley 100 P)
Click here to see her human form

A Reboot Season 66 tribute who refers to herself as the Vixen Goddess as of Night 6, previously an unnamed shapeshifter whose form regularly shifted between fox and human who broke up with her denmate (because she overreacted a bit) over her goddamn fox musk, was taken to the Games and quickly lost her sanity, never to regain it. Despite this, she is a surprisingly competent woman, having been granted empathic abilities on day 4, builds an army of Xenomorphs on day 6 (that she uses to this day), and somehow gets permanent pyrokinesis on day 8. After she was somehow nonlethally sent out of arena bounds on day 9, she then began working for Timewrecker, motivated solely by a sadistic bloodlust. After he was defeated, Vixen went back into hiding, only to come back out when she saw the opportunity for her to grow only more powerful...

  • The Empath: Has the ability to control emotions, as acquired in the Games. She managed to get away with keeping this power after Reboot Season 66, back when it was illegal for tributes to retain their Arena-acquired powers outside seasons.
  • Evil Overlord: Vixen, despite appearances, is something of a tactical genius.
  • Sadist: And how. She started out being a merely unhinged tribute, but now it's clear that she not only shows no remorse for her actions, but cheers to herself when she screws someone up. She even broke into laughter after making Elliot fall in love with her.

     Dark Falz Double
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pso2_double_8700.jpg

First CVG appearance: Post 3393
First ASAS appearance: Post 2419

A twin Dark Falz that have changed the Legion of Doom's sub-base into a toy castle.

  • Big Bad Ensemble: They and Advisor Beta's army are raiding the Urban Center, but for completely different reasons. (They want to capture Runlina and keep her at their castle as a "playmate")
  • The Starscream: They didn't exactly have a high opinion of Karnvaxael. They would end up being his downfall.

    Silas the Runerigus

First ASAS appearance: Post 9145

An old enemy of Benji and Dinah's in June's world. Formerly an Alakazam but now a Runerigus, Silas blames his biological daughter Lucy the Riolu for disrupting his and his deceased wife's adventurous lifestyle and tries to enact revenge on her and her adoptive parents from beyond the grave. He is first seen with a magic box of curses from the Land of the Alebrijes that mysteriously ended up in June's world, which he used against Aaron and the others and planned to use against Lucy and her new family.

  • Archnemesis Dad: Silas has a grudge against his daughter Lucy even beyond the grave because he and his wife Brenda had her after one drunken night. Silas believes that Lucy is a "mistake" for interfering with his life as an adventurer because Brenda decided to quit her job to take care of her. As a result, he forced Brenda to continue exploring with him, but they both died in a cave-in. Silas then transformed into a Galarian Yamask after his death and then evolved into a Runerigus, and still holds a grudge against Lucy to this day.
  • Fully Absorbed Finale: The continuing saga with Silas and his continuing grudge against Lucy was initially planned for We Have All Become Pokémon before the RP was ended, and was ultimately retooled to happen within the setting of ASAS (with his previous fight against Benji and Dinah during that arc's Danjor Island arc being semi-canon here as well).
  • Knight of Cerebus: While the other antagonists from June's world barring Dark Phoebe have proved to be either redeemable, harmless, or pitiable, Silas is always treated as dangerous and unambiguously evil whenever he appears or is mentioned. When he took revenge on those who sealed him into a painting, he proved himself to be Beyond Redemption that he was turned into stone and tossed over the cliff and into the sea.
  • Living Drawing: The Voidlands energy leaking from Kelby's lost capsule on Painted Island gave life to all of Vinci's drawings and freed Silas from his prison. He had been turned into a rainbow Runerigus, capable of morphing his body, possessing others, and summoning tendrils and waves of paint.
  • Phantom-Zone Picture: The ability he gave Vinci in order to get rid of the other members of Oscar's old gang; Vinci seals most of Oscar's gang within paintings on Painted Island against their will. And the fate Silas ultimately suffers himself.
  • Sanity Slippage: Silas was never truly sane to begin with, but as a Paintmon, he has completely lost it and is fixated on escaping the island to get his revenge, terrorizing the other Paintmons in the process.
  • Taken for Granite: Silas gave himself the ability to turn anything he stares at into crystal or gems from Manzana's box of tricks, and he uses this power to turn several Pokémon into extremely fragile Crystalline Creatures. When he returned and possessed Henry's body, Phoebe managed to trick him and turn him into a statue of dried paint. Silas was then thrown into the sea, making sure that he would never harm anyone again.
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: His dynamic with the other Runerigus Vinci. Silas is evil through and through while Vinci is a perfectly friendly (if eccentric) artist who very quickly proves to be too much of a Nice Guy to be a genuine threat to the group nor keep Oscar's old gang stuck within his paintings as directed to him by Silas.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Became utterly furious when June, Aaron, and Benji got Manzana's box of tricks away from him and later formed his body into a giant eyeball in an attempt to turn the entire group into crystal.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Silas has no qualms about harming Lucy due to his vendetta against her, though he thankfully has been prevented from his attempts to do so each time he has tried (first by Benji and Dinah prior to the events of ASAS and later by June, Aaron, and their friends).

    Proteus Ridley

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/msr_proteusridley_artwork.png

The main antagonist of Tallon IV's arc, and the cruel leader of the Space Pirates. He seeks to recover Skarbick after the Zebesian scientist's capture by Dark Stanford.

  • The Dreaded: Even the fearless Mawkin considers Ridley to be a massive threat, especially compared to his men. The 'Brijes learn firsthand just how ruthless he can be.
  • Sadist: Ridley is extremely ruthless and sadistic, taking joy in others suffering, and not hiding it. He tortured Fire Eyes by ripping his eye out to force him to reveal where Skarbick was. When he learned about the dream realm, he demanded that the 'Brijes allowed him in so that he could take control of it and let his cruelty run wide, and he openly threatened to destroy their loved ones during their battle with him.
  • Sore Loser: Upon his defeat, Proteus Ridley managed to grab Veena and attempted to kill her in his fall. Joaquin managed to save her.
  • Uncertain Doom: Though Joaquin managed to defeat the evil dragon, letting him fall into a bottomless pit, it is very possible that he survived. It's later revealed that he survived after shedding his mechanical parts and he swore revenge against Joaquin.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Of Raven Beak, who hoped that he and his pirates would have been able to kill Fire Eyes, despite the fact that Space Pirates and Chozo are sworn enemies.

His Preferred Human-ish form

Click to see his fully humanoid form (art by Tropers/The Real Berdly)

First ASAS Appearance: Post 11598

A mysterious entity that trapped the "Other" Berdlynote  and Philip Pirrip in a labyrinth.

  • Compulsive Liar: He claimed that he created the Voidlands, when the Voidlands were actually created when Scipion was tricked into destroying EVERYTHING by Timewrecker. Susie and the Smol One didn't believe his lies one bit.
  • Evil Is Visceral: The walls of the labyrinth he created are made out of flesh covered only by a thin layer of wood.
  • Fluffy the Terrible: Justified. His self given nickname is "Spoon", which is certainly not a fitting name for a deity such as him, but he gave himself the name Spoon because his real name is hard to pronounce.
  • Mysterious Stranger: Virtually nothing is known about him except that he is an eldritch being with great power.
  • Sensor Character: In the entire Eastborough arc, he’s never really in the same realm as Pip and the "Other" Berdly, but he seems to know what they are doing at all times, which was how he was able to trap them in there.
  • The Unpronounceable: His name is so eldritch, when Pip asked him to repeat it for him, he refused to. He then told the "Other" Berdly to just call him "Spoon" during their battle outside the labyrinth. His real name was then revealed to be Khahrahk, which his original eldritch name was a distorted spelling of.
