(From left to right)
Kokkoro, Yuuki, Shefi, Karyl, and Pecorine
A guild whose main objective is to seek new eating experiences together.
    In General

  • Damager, Healer, Tank: While it can vary by situation, their basic abilities fall into these categories. Karyl is the Damager-using powerful spellcasting to decimate and weaken enemies. Kokkoro is the Healer-buffing and sustaining her guildmates with supportive magic. And Pecorine is the Tank-being physically the most durable and excelling at close-quarters.

In That World

Starting Rarity: 1-star
Battle Position: Front
Damage Type: Physical
Height: 156 cm (5'1")
Weight: 46 kg (101 lbs)
Birthday: March 31
Age: 17
Blood Type: O
Race: Humanfolk
Hobbies: Eating, cooking

Founder and leader of Gourmet Guild. A beauty with a voracious appetite and boundless energy.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuuki often refers to her as "Peco-san."
  • All-Loving Hero: Is quick to befriend anyone she crosses paths with, even those initially hostile to her.
  • Appropriated Appellation: Pecorine is a nickname given to her by Kokkoro (who had no idea who she was aside from her hunger), which she liked and decided to go by. Her real name is Eustiana von Astraea.
  • Big Eater: The main drawback of using her Royal Equipment is that it burns through her calories at a fast rate, causing her to be constantly hungry. Not that she minds as that gives her an excuse to eat more.
    • Her Princess Form further increases the rate at which she burns her calories, to her delight.
    • Her cameo preview in Dragalia Lost has her take a bite out of Pipple!
  • Berserk Button: Do NOT destroy or insult food in front of her.
  • Boring, but Practical: Compared to her teammates who are capable of a large number of skills, Pecorine only uses physical attacks, but her physical abilities are so strong that she can easily destroy almost anything that comes into her path.
  • Brainless Beauty: Depends on who's asking. Kokkoro looks up to Pecorine, believing her to be smarter and wiser than she appears to be, while Karyl thinks that she is one. However one thing they agree on, is that she's quite the beauty.
  • Cast from Calories: Her Royal Equipment grants her fearsome physical abilities, but drains calories from her body at an equally fearsome rate. It is one of the big reasons she is so hungry all the time.
    • Eventually, she is able to enter Princess Form, which grants her even more amazing fighting capabilities, but consumes calories at an even faster rate.
  • Catchphrase:
    • "Yabai desu ne"note
    • Also greets people with her trademark "Oissu!" note
    • On top of this, when using her Union Burst, Princess Strike, she utters a third trademark catchphrase, "zenryoku zenkai!" note , which fans of Lyrical Nanoha may recognize. Upon using Princess Valiant, an even more powerful attack, Pecorine upgrades to shouting "chou zenryoku zenkai!" note .
  • Chef of Iron: She's noted to be an incredibly skilled cook, often being the one to cook the guild's meals. It certainly helps given that her immense strength greatly expends her appetite.
  • Clothes Make the Superman: Her impressive physical abilities (and appetite) are powered by her clothing, the Royal Equipment. Her tiara in particular is noted to be the most important part, as it's what gives her super strength.
  • Cuddle Bug: Hugs the people close to her because she's afraid of losing everyone dear to her again.
  • Cutscene Power to the Max: Capable of incredible feats of strength and destruction in cutscenes and the anime adaptation, but in gameplay, while she is incredibly resilient to damage, her attack power leaves something to be desired.
  • Dumb Blonde: Has orange hair and is not the most intelligent of them all.
  • Dumb Is Good: Despite her silliness, she is very nice, kind and humble.
  • Dumb Muscle: The most physically powerful of the main characters, and about as sharp as a spoon.
  • Extreme Omnivore: She certainly tries. She's often seen musing about eating the various monsters the group encounters, and if one takes a good look at her sword, you might notice it has a bitemark on the blade. Yes, she's apparently attempted to eat her own sword.
  • Freudian Excuse: She really loves to hug her guild mates despite their protest. So much so that it can make some of them uncomfortable (At first). Though she does have good reason for doing so. Having her entire life stolen by someone else, and being branded a criminal by the people she loved and trusted caused her to develop abandonment issues.
  • Genius Ditz: She's been known to be incredibly silly and often causes trouble, but this girl knows her way around food. From farming her own ingredients to cooking incredibly delicious food. Throw her out into the wilderness with nothing on hand and she'll still manage to create a feast. She's even capable of completely recreating a dish simply by tasting it once.
    • She even manages to craft a set of beautiful wooden table and chairs entirely by herself for the guild when they were setting it up. Even Karyl is both surprised and impressed at the same time.
  • Genki Girl: This girl could be summarized as an unending fountain of joy. She's sweet to everyone she meets, takes on quests like an excited schoolgirl, and is very passionate about food and cooking. If Pecorine isn't happy, that's usually a sign something bad has happened.
  • Girly Bruiser: Her design is a mix of classical princess and knight tropes. She's at once beautiful, spirited, and loving as she is a physical powerhouse. Meanwhile the rest of her guildmates rely more on magic to fight.
  • Guest Fighter:
    • She is one of the event characters in a Granblue Fantasy crossover event, "Princess Connect! Re:Dive: Dinner at the Turned Table''.
    • She's one of the summonable adventurers debuting in the Dragalia Lost crossover event, "Princess Connect! Re:Dive - A Vocarious Visitor". She even gets an English voice actor which is absent in the original game and anime.
    • She also made a guest appearance in Shadowverse.
  • Heal Thyself: Her initial Skill, Lunchtime, occasionally restores her own HP, in addition to a temporary Magic Defense boost.
  • Idiot Hero: Not nearly as much as Yuuki; but she did make a table outside the guildhouse without considering if it would fit through the door. Or how she chased after two thieves for a whole week to return some medicine-which was just a ploy of theirs to pickpocket her.
  • King Incognito: Is actually the rightful princess of Landsol who had her identity stolen from her by Mana. Additionally, she is also a genuine princess of an unnamed nation in real life, visiting Japan as an ambassador for her nation.
  • Mascot: She's easily the biggest face of the franchise, appearing as one of the main characters of the anime and having several crossover appearances.
  • Meaningful Name: Or in this case, Meaningful Nickname. Named for the Japanese onomatopoeia "pekopeko," meaning "hungry" or "starving". Carries over to the English translation, where she is described as "peckish"
  • Nice Girl: Pecorine is incredibly kind and caring, and rarely gets mad at her guildmates. She takes all of Karyl's bickering in stride and just acts endlessly warm towards her.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: Apart from her fondness for glomping, Pecorine also has a tendency to excitedly shove her face extremely close to other people's when talking to them. Both habits tend to bother Karyl very much.
  • Only Known By Her Nickname: Is referred to almost exclusively by her nickname Pecorine following her introduction, to the point that the players and viewers may be forgiven for forgetting that it is not her actual name. Even after her real name is revealed, she continues to prefer being called Pecorine by her close friends.
  • Poirot Speak: Her unusual catchphrases are actually foreshadowing for her identity as Eustiana von Astraea, a foreign princess visiting Japan in real life. Specifically, they are the few bits of Japanese slang she knows herself, while the rest of her words are translated from her native language. Without a translator, her attempts at speaking Japanese are quite a bit more dreadful.
  • Princess Protagonist: The rightful princess of Landsol on a journey to reclaim her throne from an usurper.
  • Self-Made Woman: Don't be fooled by her sometimes childish and clingy attitude, Pecorine has no problems surviving out on her own. In the game, she was the one who founded the Gourmet Guild and paid for it entirely out of her own savings. It was shown that she is well-traveled and acquired many different skills as well. From cooking to carpentry. It was stated that she took many jobs along her journey and acquired a decent set of skills.
Karyl: You really are handy, and not just at cooking.
  • Status Buff: Lunchtime increases her Magic Defense in addition to healing herself, while Princess Strike increases both her Physical and Magic Defense besides dealing damage.
  • Stepford Smiler: Incredibly distraught about being chased out of the royal palace and branded a criminal by people she once trusted who no longer recognize her, but she continues to pretend to be cheerful and carefree to avoid making others worry about her. It also serves to hide the fear that her new friends may one day forget about her as well.
  • Stock Shōnen Hero: Gender Flipped example, given her Big Eater, Idiot Hero, and Power of Friendship tendencies.
  • Stone Wall: Pecorine can probably outlast almost all other characters with her hefty HP, especially with her EX Skill, Princess Power, active, which provides a further boost, but she has a rather low physical attack even with Union Burst.
  • Super-Strength: She's capable of completely decimating large hordes of monsters by herself, and is capable of beating down even some of the more powerful ones with nothing but her bare hands. Karyl calls her a monster because of this.
  • Supreme Chef: This girl really knows how to cook. She can easily whip us a feast even with the simplest of items. Anything she tastes once, she can recreate. However she does have a rather...open mind when it comes to cuisine.
  • Tareme Eyes: Her droopy eyes highlight her optimistic, ditzy personality.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Is introduced to the story on the brink of starvation and is rescued from her plight by Kokkoro feeding her some onigiri. From then on, she can rarely be seen without one, to the point that she eats them as a gameplay mechanic.
  • Universally Beloved Leader: Played with. As a regular citizen, Pecorine is absolutely adored by everyone around her, her employers, customers, and coworkers having nothing but good things to say about her as she works various jobs within Landsol. However, once she ascends to the throne as Princess Eustiana von Astraea, she finds out that simply being charismatic and kind-hearted isn't enough to win everyone over, as there are several cynical and selfish nobles who are unmoved by her personality and only seek to manipulate her for their own ends.
  • Universal Translator: A translator she is actually unaware that she is using, active at all times. At one point, it stops working for a short period of time causing both her and Yuuki great confusion as to why he is unable to understand what she is saying. This is actually the work of the Mimi’s translator function, which continues to work even after Pecorine has forgotten that she is plugged into one. In real life, Pecorine uses one to converse in Japanese while staying in Japan and is quite vexed when she somehow misplaces it.
  • Unperson: Mana erases the memory of the original Eustiana from all of the royal family's minds, taking her name and place for herself. The shock and trauma of being erased from her loved ones' lives weighs heavily on Pecorine as a result.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Relatively so, compared to some other sword wielders in the cast. When she crosses swords with Tomo, Tomo is shocked at how overwhelming her strength is, while Pecorine is surprised as to how Tomo can keep up with her with just raw skill.
    • Though to be fair, it was stated Pecorine's sword skills was designed for the purpose of fighting monsters which is why it suffers from a lack of technique.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Even though Karyl spends a lot of time insulting her for her sometimes childish and insensitive antics, it's clear that the two are very close to another.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Starving her will immediately rob Pecorine of her incredible strength, and she becomes hungry very easily. This even works in gameplay, as Pecorine constantly wolfs down onigiri to restore large chunks of her HP and knocking them out of her hands by stunning her prevents her from doing so and negates a large part of her Stone Wall abilities.
    • She's also weak in fighting long drawn out battles. During the monster raid at Elizabeth Park, Pecorine was shown to have enough raw power to demolish entire hordes of monsters by herself, however she can't sustain it in the long run and thus decides to find the summoner instead of beating every monster there.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: She maybe an Idiot Hero, but occasionally she's quite sensitive and understanding to people's feelings. This also applies to her relationship with Yuuki. While many others are vying for his affection, Pecorine refuses to even try. Believing that Yuuki could have a life that he had forgotten and even possibly another girlfriend before losing his memories. She would only attempt a relationship with him should he regain his memories and agrees to do so with her.
  • The Worf Effect: Zane effortlessly destroys her in two blows, while she is in Princess Form, to establish just how strong the man is.

"I've been looking forward to assisting you since I was a child, Master."
In That World

Starting Rarity: 1-star
Battle Position: Middle
Damage Type: Physical

Height: 140 cm (4'7")
Weight: 35 kg (77 lbs)
Birthday: May 11
Age: 11
Blood Type: B
Race: Elvenfolk
Hobbies: Meditating, raising plants and animals

A member of Gourmet Guild, a precocious Elf.

  • Adorably Precocious Child: Extremely diligent and responsible, despite her age having barely entered the double digits. Can often be seen doing chores and taking care of Yuuki.
  • Antiquated Linguistics: Always speaks in an excessively polite and formal manner, complete with addressing everyone she talks to with the "-sama" honorific.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: She's 11 years old, while her guildmates are well into their teens. Ironic given how she's seemingly the most mature out of them all.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Flashback to That World reveals that Kokkoro didn't have many friends due to moving a lot thanks to her father's work. Then, Yuuki came and he became her first, genuine friend leading to her developing a master-servant relationship with him much like their current relationship.
  • Butterfly of Transformation: Her Princess Form features prominent butterfly wings, and are accompanied by character episodes where she muses that perhaps she too has the potential to transform as a person, just like a butterfly. Her butterfly motif also serves to tie her to Minerva, who herself sports prominent butterfly wings.
  • Can't Catch Up: Begins to feel insecure at her inability to protect Yuuki properly compared to the other girls, Pecorine being a far stronger fighter than her and Yui being a far more talented healer than her. It only gets worse after the latter two gain the ability to enter Princess Form, leaving her behind even further, and she desperately wishes to become stronger so she can properly fight by their side. Her earnest wishes are eventually answered after she gains a Princess Form of her own and manages to fend off an enemy by herself while protecting Yuuki and her other friends.
  • Character Tics: Whenever she's shocked or surprised, she makes a distinctive "OxO" face.
  • Child Mage: At 11, she's already a powerful spellcaster-taking on the role of her guild's enchanter. Her other magic teammate Karyl is the one with the more offensive spells.
  • Children Are Innocent: She's nothing but sweet and polite to all of her guildmates and the people they meet. But more important is that she's also the member of her guild with the least experience seeing the world, mostly growing up in an insular environment. So going on quests with her new friends is how she forms her perception of the world.
  • Decoy Leader: Of sorts. Her father is one of the Seven Crowns, but being completely uninterested in playing Legend of Astrum, he instead allowed his daughter to represent him in the game, giving her all the perks the other Seven Crowns have access to in-game.
  • Empty Nest: Begins feeling unneeded and useless as Yuuki regains more and more of his former function and no longer needs her to assist him in basic everyday tasks like putting on his clothes and bathing, like a mother watching her son grow up and leave her behind.
  • Exposition Fairy: Assumes this role at Ameth's command due to Ameth's own inability to do so. In the story, she is the one that explains basic knowledge about the world to Blank Slate Yuuki and the player, and every game tutorial is primarily delivered by her, though the other members of the Gourmet Guild also join in occasionally.
  • Extreme Doormat: Outright states that even if Yuuki were to whip and abuse her, she would not mind in the least and continue to serve him to her utmost. Thankfully for her, Yuuki is much too nice to take advantage of her in any way, though given that Kokkoro herself basically raised him from an amnesiac Blank Slate, she perhaps has herself to thank for that.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Will eat everything Pecorine offers her without batting an eye, which naturally means that she's just as much of an extreme omnivore as Pecorine is. Nevertheless, she still has enough sense to stop Yuuki from attempting to eat a coin.
  • Intelligence Equals Isolation: In the past, her unusual intelligence and maturity for her age caused others to perceive her as an oddball, leading to a life of social isolation. This changes quickly once she meets the protagonist, however.
  • Jack of All Trades: From a gameplay perspective, she is an incredibly strong unit at her full potential, not because she's the best at healing, or the best at buffing, or the best at tanking, but because she can perform these roles all at once extremely competently. In the story, she is also a capable fighter, though not to the same degree as Pecorine and Karyl, and can summon spirits as well for a number of utility purposes.
  • Mystical White Hair: Unlike some other characters who also share her hair color, Kokkoro is unusual in that she originally had white hair in That World as well.
  • Naïve Newcomer: She's a lot more naive than she first appears and isn't really ready for all the social hazards and whatnot that come with living in a place like Landosol early on. As early as her first character story, Yuuki himself is the one who has to (unsuccessfully) try to talk her down from buying too much fish just because a fishmonger flattered her and pitched his heart out to get her to buy too much fish for dinner.
  • Nice Girl: She is a very caring person, not just to Yuuki to others as well.
  • Not So Above It All: While her demeanor makes her come off as the most mature of her guild, a lot of her humor comes from reminding the audience how she's still an inexperienced kid at heart-whether its happily playuing along with Yuuki and Pecorine's zany behavior, almost adopting a parisitic mushroom-creature, or her sometimes naive worship of Yuuki.
  • Our Elves Are Different: Hails from a Hidden Elf Village, her abilities are nature-themed and her green outfit sports copious Garden Garment elements in its design. She more or less fits the wood elf archetype to a tee.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: While not in the same league as Pecorine, she's physically a lot more capable than she appears to be, being able to fight monsters on her own consistently.
  • Really Royalty Reveal: Upon her return to the real world, Kokkoro is informed by Labyrista that she is in fact one of the Seven Crowns, or rather, that her father is but conferred his title to her in Legend of Astrum. This comes as a great surprise to her as she believed her father to be nothing more than a regular village elder due to her memories being tampered with.
  • Secret-Keeper: She's the first person Pecorine confides in about her true identity as Princess Eustiana.
  • Team Mom: Oh definitely. She may be the smallest physically, but she's the most mature of the entire team and takes care of them, especially her master.
  • Too Good to Be True: When Yuuki tells Kuroe about the elven girl that lives with him, takes care of him, and gives him an allowance to spend however he pleases, Kuroe scoffs at his obviously made-up fantasy and compliments him on his active imagination, because there's no way a girl like that could actually exist, right?
  • Undying Loyalty: To her master.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: Extremely intelligent and book smart, though she may be lacking in common sense at times.

    Karyl

Karyl (Kyaru) / [Kiruya Momochi]

"My magic is pretty awesome, isn't it? Hee hee, come on, praise me more!"
In That World

Starting Rarity: 1-star
Combat Position: Back
Damage Type: Magic

Height: 152 cm (5'0")
Weight: 39 kg (86 lbs)
Birthday: September 2
Age: 14
Blood Type: A
Race: Beastfolk
Hobbies: Playing with cats

A tsundere beast-race girl who often complains about Pecorine but follows her regardless.

  • Abusive Parents: Loathes her abusive parents to the point that she considers serving the misanthropic Mana as an upgrade.
  • The Atoner: Karyl spends a lot of time brooding over her past actions in the second story arc, even after several You Are Better Than You Think You Are speeches from her guild members.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me:
    • The members of the Gourmet Guild are the first people to have ever shown her any real kindness in her life, and this quickly begins to eat away at her inside as her growing attachments conflict with her mission to spy on them.
    • This is also one of the reasons she continues to stay loyal to Mana despite Mana's callous treatment of her, because as much as Mana might mistreat her, she at least gives some praise to Karyl whenever she performs her tasks well, a massive upgrade from the Parental Neglect Kiruya was used to receiving from her parents.
  • The Beastmaster: In the anime, her first attempts to take out Pecorine involve mind-controlling several monsters with magic.
  • Becoming the Mask: Try as she might to close herself off to them, she can't help but grow fond of the guild she was sent to spy on as they shower her with love and affection.
  • Broken Pedestal: Karyl's wide-eyed admiration of Mana quickly comes to an end during her tenure as The Dragon as Mana's numerous Bad Boss tendencies come to light. Ironically enough, however, Mana's misanthropic nature ends up giving Karyl a whole new reason to stay loyal to her, as she begins to project her own anti-social nature and insecurities onto Mana, becoming a Love Martyr wishing to save Mana from the loneliness she knows all too well.
  • Butt-Monkey: Quite a bit of comedy in the series is at her expense, ranging from being unwillingly fed monsters to being unwillingly fed to monsters. Enters Chew Toy territory for some fans after she betrays the Gourmet Guild and her suffering starts feeling more like Laser-Guided Karma.
  • Catchphrase: Has a tendency to shout "I'll kill you!" at the slightest provocation. Additionally, though she only utters it once during a television ad for the game, her spin on Pecorine's own catchphrase, "yabai wa yo!", has become heavily associated with her on the internet due to Memetic Mutation.
  • Cat Girl: Standoffish and tsundere like your average cat as well.
  • Compensated Dating: Her character episodes in That World tend to give off this vibe, as she is usually unwilling to give the older Yuuki the time of day until he offers some compensation, monetary or otherwise for her to accompany him. It escalates from him paying for her train fare to offering to rent a rather pricey furisode for her to wear.
  • Dark Magical Girl: Dark-themed magical abilities? Check. Troubled home life? Check. Anti-social personality? Gothic lolita Cute Witch outfit? The Dragon of the Big Bad? Check, check, check.
  • Death Seeker: Even after the Gourmet Guild welcome her back with open arms, Karyl continues to view herself as worthless due to her traitorous actions against them, resulting in her jumping at the chance to pull a Taking You with Me on Mana via a giant magical explosion to atone for her sins. Fortunately, Pecorine stops her before it's too late and chastises her for attempting to violate the Gourmet Guild's sacred mission of eating delicious foods together, as they would no longer be able to do that if she died.
  • First-Episode Twist: It is revealed in the tutorial of the game and the second episode of the anime that she is on a mission to assassinate Pecorine.
  • Hard Work Hardly Works: Subverted in her case. Many of her spells and useful abilities are the results of pouring in loads of time and hard work. That said, there are still some spells that she can't seem to get it to work the way she wants it to no matter how hard she tries.
  • Hates Being Touched: Tends to protest rather loudly about Pecorine's tendency to hug her without warning. When she finally reciprocates one of Pecorine's hugs, it's a sign that she's finally opening her heart up.
  • Hero Worship: Idolizes Mana, her distant relative, for becoming a wealthy, famous celebrity despite coming from what she considers a Big, Screwed-Up Family. This comes off particularly strongly in That World, where she has not actually personally met Mana yet and thus has a rather rose-tinted view of her idol, as she makes abundantly clear to Yuuki whenever the two happen to cross paths.
  • Japanese Delinquent: Unlike some of the other characters, who are either comedic or idealized variants of this trope, Kiruya is a rather bleak, depressing depiction of a delinquent. She is introduced in That World bumping into Yuuki in an alleyway and ends up more or less accidentally mugging him with her aggressive threats, and has a persecution complex about the way other people view her as low-life trash. She also doesn't dress in a "cool" fashion at all; her usual outfit is an oversized t-shirt repurposed to serve as a short dress, combined with a black undershirt and a somewhat ill-fitting olive-green hiking jacket. Put together, it has the vibe of "this is all Kiruya can afford" rather than any kind of fashion statement.
  • I Ate WHAT?!: Part 3 of the Gourmet Guild story has this be her reaction when the restaurant she's been going to not only uses monster parts as their ingredients, but Pecorine is their supplier.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: As loathe as she is to admit it, deep down, all she wants is to be loved and appreciated by someone.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Often takes care of stray cats, which shows a glimpse of her softer side. In That World, she wears a graphic tee emblazoned with the phrase “Life is Cat”.
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: Rather rude to everyone who is not Mana and has a tendency to give people insulting nicknames, even after she warms up to them. Eriko even refers to her as "the girl with the foul mouth" before she learns of her name.
  • Morality Pet: Due to being only given orders to spy on Pecorine and Yuuki, Karyl feels less of a need to keep Kokkoro at arm's length compared to the other two, and thus is much more openly kind towards the young girl than she is towards the other two members of the Gourmet Guild, with none of the Tsundere attitude she shows the others.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In a fit of insanity after she had been Brainwashed and Crazy, Pecorine attempts to save her with "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight. This causes her emotions to go out of control. Accumulating in her releasing a deadly blast that seemingly kills her. At first this causes her to becoming Laughing Mad as she celebrates her victory, before the realization of what she did kicks in and she regains her senses and almost suffers a complete mental breakdown. Fortunately Pecorine gets better and so does she.
  • Only Sane Woman: Due to their various circumstances, the other three members of the guild are sorely lacking in anything resembling common sense, something she is quick to reproach them about.
  • Picky Eater: Not one by normal societal standards, but compared to the rest of her guild, she is considerably more disgusted by the variety of bizarre cuisine that the others will happily chow down on without a second thought.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: Unfortunately, this becomes her reputation among the nobles of Landsol after Mana is overthrown and Pecorine becomes the new ruler of Landsol, as they view her being the right-hand woman of the first and best friend of the second as simply her currying favor with them.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Named Kyaru in Japanese, and Karyl in the official English translations. Early official translations of her name translated it Cal instead. This is further complicated by the fact that in-universe, her Japanese name is a misspelling of her name from That World, Kiruya. Memetic Mutation has caused some fans to start calling her by a variety of silly alternate spellings, such as Karl, Karly, Carlito, etc.
  • Squishy Wizard: Physically the weakest of the group, even weaker than Kokkoro who is younger than her and Yuuki as well. In some events she often complains about her body aching due to putting in to much work despite the fact that the others in her party were doing more without complaint. In gameplay, she is also on the squishier side even for a magic attacker in all her forms.
  • Through Her Stomach: She warms up a little to Pecorine after tasting her cooking for the first time.
  • Token Evil Teammate: A subdued case as she's more of an Anti-Villain and has regret for her actions. However, she's still working of her own volition with the Big Bad of act 1 for a good part of the story.
  • Tsundere: Is often teased by the others for being one. Not that it's unfounded given her overreactive attitude contrasting with her gentle side.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: She spends a lot of time shouting at Pecorine and to a lesser extend Yuki and Kokkoro, but it's clear that she treasures them greatly.
  • Walking Spoiler: Needless to say, there's kind of a lot going on with the girl compared to the other two.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Thinks of herself as worthless garbage after she betrays the Gourmet Guild. The rest of her guildmates are quick to preach of all her positive qualities to convince her otherwise. However, it takes a few separate speeches over an extended period of time to completely snap Karyl out of her self-loathing funk.

"Au!"
In That World

Mysterious dragon girl who falls from the sky. Unaffiliated with any guild until she officially joins Gourmet Guild at the end of Arc 2 Chapter 4, she is currently staying with the members of Gourmet Guild.

  • Adorably Precocious Child: After awakening her original personality, Shefi becomes a cool-headed, no-nonsense girl who acts far more mature than her complete lack of memories and apparent age would indicate. Karyl and Nebia find this extremely amusing in contrast with how she acted in her baby-like state and tease her incessantly for it, which only motivates her even harder to act maturely.
  • Amnesiacs are Innocent: Wakes up with the mind of a newborn, and generally acts like a cheerful innocent child.
  • Amnesiac Villain Joins the Heroes: Subverted. The members of the Gourmet Guild and Twinkle Wish are arrested and imprisoned for harboring Shefi, who turns out to be a wanted assassin, much to their shock. However, none of them hold it against her once it's revealed that the person she attempted to assassinate was Mana.
  • An Ice Person: Has the power to spontaneously generate ice, which she primarily uses to generate icy paths to skate on.
  • Bookworm: Can be often seen reading, possibly to fill in the numerous gaps her amnesia has left her with.
  • Came from the Sky: First appears falling from the sky in an unconscious state.
  • Dance Battler: When she borrows Yuuki's sword to fight, she uses her ice powers to produce a pair of skates and slide around the battlefield.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Initially becomes somewhat awkward and distant from the Gourmet Guild after regaining her old, icy personality, but eventually reaffirms that she still cares deeply about all of them.
  • Draconic Humanoid: Is part of the dragonfolk race, as indicated by her tail, horns, and wings made of ice.
  • Expy: Upon her first reveal, many fans mistook her for another ice-themed dragon girl that has appeared in multiple Cygames properties, Filene.
  • Freudian Slip: In her child-like state, Shefi freely referred to Kokkoro as "mama" and Yuuki as "onii-tan", but after her original personality resurfaces, she is far too embarrassed to continue referring them as such and instead begins referring to them by name. Nevertheless, in particularly emotional moments, she often slips up and goes back to the baby talk.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Shefi initially appears to have total amnesia that regressed her to an infantile state, but when exposed to Yuuki's princess knight powers, she abruptly awakens to what appears to be her original, mature personality... while still somehow lacking all of her original memories entirely.
  • Like Brother and Sister: Wakes up without any memories at the same time Yuuki loses all his memories again. Having regressed to a childlike state, they end up being raised together by Kokkoro and Karyl and get along quite well as a result.
  • Line-of-Sight Name: Kokkoro named her after the baby noises she made when she first woke up, "she... fu...". Her true name is Shifuna Agato.
  • Sixth Ranger: Joins the Gourmet Guild in the second arc of Re:Dive.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: Even after she recovers from her childlike state, Karyl and Nebia like to tease her about it.
  • Promoted to Playable: Was added to the gacha as a permanent character for the game's 3rd anniversary.
  • Reverse Grip: Prefers to hold her sword in this manner, which she uses to great effect when performing high-speed acrobatic spins on her ice skates.
