    Season 1
"To The Power of Ten"

"Animal Harm"

  • The chapter opens with Firefly saving a mother and child from a burning building. The gossip about the alien heroes around CHS also gives a few details about some other off-screen saves Flash has done since getting the Omnitrix, including using XLR8 to save a woman from being runover by a car, Volt-Edge to power a hospital that had suffered a power outage, and Bushwhacker to stop a baby carriage from rolling into the street.
  • Despite accidentally getting Molestache instead of Riot-Horn like he wanted, Flash is able to fight off Animac's hamster-frog mutant.
  • When Shining Armor has Flash Chained to a Bed after learning his secret, Flash is still able to activate the watch and turn into Goop and escape.
  • Riot-Horn battling Animac's spider-phant mutant, and punching it so hard it is sent flying straight into the cell tower, preventing Animac from mutating the city.

"Save The Trees"

  • XLR8 saving everyone from the living trees.
  • During the final battle of the chapter, while Bushwhacker fights Oakheart, Shining Armor and Trixie deal with his goons, with the two of them tackling two of the gunmen, stealing their laser weapons from them, and using them to destroy the rest of the weapons and forcing the goons to surrender.
  • Bushwacker and the living trees fighting against Oakheart in his Powered Armor, ripping the wiring in it apart and eventually tearing the suit itself apart. Bushwhacker convinces the trees to spare Oakheart, but makes sure to knock him out himself with a punch to the face.

"Power Outage"

  • Volt-Edge battles the invading conductoids, and shows that even when they can both No-Sell each other's electric attacks, Volt-Edge is more than just lightning, and uses his claws to fight instead. Then he convinces them to leave Earth without any hostages by threatening to blow up their ship and leave them stranded if they don't leave right away.

"Crystal Clarity"

  • Kraab's isn't at all surprised encountering humans with magical abilities, and has gadgets that helps him deal with them as he continues his hunt for the Omnitrix.
  • Flash, after finally realizing that brute force won't help him without a plan, thinks smart and decides to go Goop instead of Riot-Horn, and easily handles both Kraab and SixSix.
  • Serving as a massive departure from canon, before Tetrax leaves with the defeated bounty hunters he tells Flash the name of the alien that is after the Omnitrix: Vilgax. Now Flash and his friends are aware of who's after him, instead of Vilgax remaining a Hidden Villain for most of the first season.

"Birthday Bash"

  • The chapter begins with Sandalwood being a Heroic Bystander and pulling an old woman out of the way of an out-of-control bus. Shows you don't need to be one of the main characters or have any powers to be a hero.
  • XLR8 stops said bus, first saving everyone onboard, then setting up a net from a nearby camping store to catch the bus before safely parking it.
  • Flash managing to save the day with Molestache, using his mustache to fly up to the magic bubbles that trapped everyone and blow them into each other, so the Rainbooms can use their magic together and save everyone else.

"Like Looking in a Mirror"

  • When Negatine creates evil duplicates of Flash, Twilight, Trixie, and Shining, Flash lures his own copy outside, away from everyone else, and once he is clear transforms into Riot-Horn. His copy is completely blindsided by this and can only let out a horrified "WAIT!" before Riot-Horn brings his fist down right on top of him, shattering him. It is the only time a duplicate is easily dispatched in the whole chapter.
  • In the climax, Flash is trying to decide the best alien to use to stop Negatine. Realizing every alien he thinks of has a risk of being seen and copied, he has a "Eureka!" Moment and transforms into Chamalien. Negatine can only make copies of someone if he can cast their reflection, so Chamalien's invisibility makes it so he can't be copied, and he destroys Negatine's mirror shield, taking away the only thing that made him a threat.

"Prehistoric Panic"

  • The final battle between Riot-Horn and the flying dinosaur alien is exciting, especially when Riot-Horn uses his full strength, being powered by the sunlight, to strike the dinosaur back into the hole it came out of, creating a loud sonic boom in the process.

"Rise of the Technovore"

  • Technovore proves to be a dangerous enemy, constantly absorbing more tech to make itself stronger or repair itself. It later shows It Can Think, stealing Shining Armor's radio and using a recording of Shining's voice, tricks the Canterlot police into bringing more weapons for it to absorb by editing Shining's previous statement.
  • It is revealed the CCPD got a tank due to all the increased alien activities going on making them look like a joke. Even Technovore is cautious when facing the tank, knowing it could be a potential threat.
  • Twilight manages to quickly make a small EMP to disable Technovore in a short amount of time. Due to it not being too strong though it needs to get in close to work, which XLR8 manages to easily do, and proceeds to outrun the resulting blast to keep the Omnitrix out of potential danger of its effects.

"Bemusement Ride"

  • The montage at the beginning of Flash using his various alien form to help people by stopping criminals, saving lives, or just helping out. It is clear he is getting the hang of being a hero.
  • The Rainbooms get a time to shine by being the one to defeat the maintenance man while he's Drunk with Power, thus showing even with Flash as the main focus they still have their roles to play and get to save the day themselves.
  • Though Flash wasn't the one to stop the bad guy this time, he still helped save the day by using Vapaw and Firefly to save people from the dangerous rides. The latter example especially so with him repairing the ride and slowing it down long enough to let the Rainbooms fix everything. It is clear without him around, someone could have been seriously hurt or worse.

"The Hunt is On"

  • Trixie manages to save Flash from Dynamo by ramming a police car into him, thus pinning him to the wall.
  • Shining Armor realizes that Dyanamo can only use one ability at a time in his new Cyborg body, so if Flash can force him to use one of his less dangerous ones he'll be left vulnerable to an attack. Flash uses Vapaw to create a smokescreen, forcing Dynamo to use his infrared vision, and giving a classic hunter vs animal battle. Though Dyanmo proves to be a dangerous and competent hunter by relying on his instincts instead of his gadgets and managing to get the upper-hand briefly.

"Lady Masquerade"

  • Trixie finally gains some magic of her own with the Luna Cat Medallion, which allows her to create complex illusions and slightly increases her speed, strength, and agility, allowing her to take on bad guys hand to hand. She quickly takes on a heroic identity, Lady Masquerade, and ends up saving several people over the next few days. Too bad she let the fame go to her head.
  • Diamondhead being unaffected by most of Devious' spells thanks to his diamond hard body.
  • When Devious finds the one spell he has that works against Diamondhead, a cloud of darkness that eats away at him and his diamonds like acid, Trixie manages to gain enough strength to fight off the amplifier gem and cast several illusions that make Diamondhead disappear, giving him the support to keep fighting back. When Devious realizes what she is doing and starts attacking her and the Rainbooms again, Trixie grows weak again and gets a nose bleed from everything, but Diamondhead has enough time to destroy Devious' staff, rendering him powerless and he is quickly defeated and trapped by the diamond alien.

"Ice to Meet You"

  • This chapter features several classic Omnitrix aliens appearing as their own characters. This includes Gelidafur, a criminal that's the same species as Arctiguana, and Magisters Fuego and Glug, the same species as Heatblast and Ripjaws respectively, who are also the first Plumbers to appear in the story.
  • Flash battling Gelidafur as Firefly, making it a classic Elemental Rivalry between fire and ice.
    • Even then though, Firefly can only battle Gelidafur to a standstill, and is only able to win with some assistance from Shining, Trixie, Twilight, and Applejack; who transported a vault from the bank outside to act as a makeshift container for Gelidafur.
    • This also adds a bit of extra Laser-Guided Karma to Gelidafur, since he previously expressed how humans were "lame" compared to the rest of the universe.
  • After the Plumbers make an appearance and take Gelidafur into custody, they identify Shining Armor as an officer of the law after Trixie says he came up with the plan to trap Gelidafur, and before they leave they give him a Plumber badge, saying they can use it to find him later. It isn't outright said, but this pretty much implies that they are considering recruiting Shining Armor into the Plumbers!

"Revelations"

  • Acting as the first "Season Finale" there is no shortage of moments here. Most of them involving Vilgax in some way:
    • Volt-Edge completely destroying Vilgax's drone army while making it look easy. Sunset and Rainbow even comment on how good he is.
    • Vilgax finally meets Flash face-to-face. He quickly establishes himself to be The Juggernaut, brushing off every attack he throws at him including dropping a cement truck on him, and at one point sends him flying by throwing him through several buildings. Flash quickly realizes he's outmatched against Vilgax, and wonders why he didn't come after him himself sooner.
    • Trixie, Shining Armor, and the Rainbooms tracking Flash via his phone when Vilgax captures him and assaulting Vilgax's ship to rescue Flash, coming to his aid just before Vilgax can cut off his arm to get the Omnitrix.
    • Flash fighting Vilgax while uncontrollably changing between his alien forms.
    • Towards the end of the chapter, once Flash is back in his human form, he takes advantage of Vilgax's inattentiveness when he is panicking over his damaged ship's systems, and zaps him with a large cable. This stuns Vilgax long enough that Flash is able to escape the ship as Volt-Edge before it takes off out of control with Vilgax trapped on it.
Vilgax: Humans. Why do they continue to be a thorn in my side!
Flash: It's just something we're naturally good at!
(Vilgax turns around just in time for Flash to jam a cable into the pipes in his arms, cooking him alive)
      Vilgax: AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!

    Season 2
"Plumbing School"
  • The Rainbooms help Flash train with the Omnitrix. Twilight uses her magic to lift several cars in the junkyard with her magic and places them on a pile for Riot-Horn to carry. He is carrying six easily, with him saying he can easily handle another three or four, before the Omnitrix times out.
  • Though the tests don't go well for Flash, Shining Armor handles them much better, impressing Fuego and Glug.
  • Shining Armor is given a Plumber suit that allows him to directly fight more dangerous foes. This includes a Hard Light Vehicle producer, which lets allows Shining to create several different vehicles to travel across the terrain better, and another that can produce a variety of different Hard Light weapons for Shining to use, including close-range weapons like swords and axes and a variety of different guns.
  • When the Omnitrix mis-transforms Flash into Molestache instead of Chamalien like he wanted, he manages to improvise just like Twilight said he always did earlier, and uses his mustache to dig underground until he manages to get at Animac from below.
  • The end of the chapter has Flash and Shining both being made Provisional Plumbers, with their friends agreeing to still help them handle any threat.
The plumber, the magical girls, the magician and the alien hero. The ten of them would handle any threat.

"New Alien On the Block"

  • The group are still testing the limits to Flash's aliens, with XLR8 narrowly beating Rainbow Dash in a race, and they were going to test Riot-Horn in a sparring match against Applejack before Flash got his new alien.
  • Spike has learned all he can about dragons due to taking an interest in them since discovering he was a dragon in Equestria. He provides a lot of details and lore on them, being easily able to identify Flash's new alien looks like a Lindworm, a Norse dragon, and later identifies the Tarrasque. Looks like Twilight isn't the only one good at studying.
  • The battle against the Tarrasque:
    • Shining Armor accesses the 'heavy duty' section of his weapon choices and fires a bazooka right in its face. Though it doesn't stop it, it does leave its face scarred and blind in one eye.
    • Flash finally gains control of his new alien Lindwhirl, discovering that the sharp fur on it essentially makes it like a buzzsaw when rolled up. He rolls across the Tarrasque's last good eye, effectively blinding it, and then tears it apart from the inside when it swallows him.

"Grounded"

  • Although not the first villain with mind-controlling powers, The Hypnotist is the first one to successfully brainwash the Rainbooms. He even manages to get Shining Armor under his control too, who is armed with his Plumber suit.
  • Flash tries to Pretend to Be Brainwashed to walk among the mind-controlled citizens and get close to The Hypnotist. Unfortunately, The Hypnotist doesn't recognize him and confirms he isn't under his control when he doesn't respond to his mental command.
  • XLR8 speeding away in the sewers when the brainwashed Rainbooms try to bring the whole thing down on top of him and Trixie. He later manages to knock out Pinkie, Rainbow, and Twilight, saying he'll apologize later.
  • Trixie has a few key moments in the chapter:
    • She is the one who tells Flash what is going on in town and convinces him to get down there and help, despite him being grounded.
    • She not only manages to avoid getting captured herself, she manages to save Flash from getting mind-controlled himself, using her smoke bombs to cover their escape.
    • She is the one to steal The Hypnotist's headband, uses it herself to get the brainwashed citizens to stop attacking XLR8 and ends up freeing them all from his control.

"Ten Aliens and a Baby"

  • Flash manages to perform his usual hero duties while also playing babysitter to Flurry Heart. This includes disassembling a runaway smart car as XLR8, asserting dominance against an escaped pack of wolves as Vapaw, and stopping bank robber with just one arm as Riot-Horn.
  • A minor moment, but when one woman gives Flash some Condescending Compassion, believing him to be Flurry's teenage father, Flash sets the record straight without ever raising his voice or being disrespectful by explaining he is her babysitter, before bluntly telling her not to assume the worst of a teenager with a baby.
  • During the battle with the bank robbers, one of the robbers takes a hostage and orders Riot-Horn to raise both his hands in the air or he'll shoot, which risks exposing Flurry Heart and putting her in danger. Right before Riot-Horn can give in to this demand though, the police charge in and help save the day, shooting the robber in the arm causing him to drop his gun and the hostage can escape.

"They Came From the Deep"

  • Flash unlocks another new alien, the lesser known canon alien Sauidstricktor, and uses him to great effect in the climax of the chapter.
  • Ripple, has one giant moment at the end of the battle with the alien squid leader. When Flash can't bring himself to commit genocide against the squid’s, Ripple activates the DNA bomb himself to both stop the threat and make sure Flash's conscious is clean. Then as the cave starts to collapse around them, he holds off the alien leader with nothing but a knife while Flash and his friends escape, accepting Flash as a hero and ordering him to keep the world safe. He dies in the ensuring battle along with his enemy, but Flash makes sure he is remembered as a hero for his Heroic Sacrifice.

"Hot Rods and Hot Dates"

  • Flash warns Adagio that if she tries anything, there's a Rainboom inside the restaurant that won't hesitate to call the others and take her down. Indeed, as soon as Twilight sees Adagio with Flash, she secretly texts Sunset to explain the situation to her and how she will keep an eye on things while she stays on standby just in case.
  • Dragstar's alien technology that he uses to steal cars, and change them into tanks and giant robots is implied to be related to Galvanic Mechamorphs, the alien species of Upgrade.
  • Adagio helps Flash save the day by giving him the idea to use Diamondhead's crystals to lock Dragstar's mech in place by the feet and then punch it so hard all it can do is fall back and slam into the ground. Then when Dragstar tries escaping in his car, Twilight lifts it a few inches off the ground with her magic to stop it, and Adagio steals the tube that contains his alien tech, with Diamondhead easily knocking him out with a simple punch on the head.

"Return of the Masquerade"

  • Trixie gets the Luna Cat Medallion back from Prince Aareus, becoming Lady Masquerade again

"Trixie's Destiny"

  • As a villainous example, Devious has not only successfully escaped prison, but has stolen 11 of the 12 Medallions in a year and a half since he last encountered the heroes, with the Luna Cat Medallion being the last one he needs. He also shows the ability to use a portion of the power of the other Medallions without switching out from the Radiant Dragon Medallion, which Aareus thought was impossible.
  • When Aareus prepares to use the twelve Medallions to destroy the world and recreate it in his own image, Trixie manages to stop him despite not having her powers, wrestling his staff out of position to stop his spell and holding him off long enough for Squidstrictor to put a stop to it for good.
  • Trixie is given the quest to recollect all of the Medallions and return them to their rightful kingdoms. She still has the Luna Cat Medallion, and Devious still has the Radiant Dragon Medallion, which leaves ten more unaccounted for. All we know is they are scattered around Canterlot City and have already bonded with whoever suits them best, meaning there are ten different people with powers the group needs to find.
  • As of the ending of this chapter, Flash's original team now all permanently have superhero identities of their own. Now, Trixie and Shining Armor can truly assist Flash in his heroics instead of just supporting him or helping him from the sidelines. The chapter ends with Firefly, Lady Masquerade, and The Plumber all heading out into the city to save more people as equals.

"The Visitor"

  • During the first battle against the drone, Shining Armor is able to coordinate everyone effectively until he ends the battle by blasting the drone into the air with a bazooka that rips the robot apart. Trixie then uses her illusion powers to make the cloud formed by the explosion vanish, so anyone who heard it assumes someone was just setting off fireworks.
  • In the second battle against the drone, after it aphasia repaired itself and taken Cadance hostage, Xylene unlocks a new alien for Flash. A Ninjage, a ninja-themed shadow alien that can travel through shadows and create weapons out of shadows. Using this form, Flash is able to rescue Cadance from the drone, with Shining Armor catching her himself when the drone blasts them, and then Flash uses his shadow weapons to destroy the drone for good.

"A Villain's Level Up

  • Negatine not only managed to somehow escape from prison off-screen, he managed to upgrade his duplication device. Now he doesn't need to cast someone's reflection to make a copy of them, he just needs to scan them once, even if they're invisible, and he can make as many copies of them as he wants. The video game that he stole to complete his device also lets him use the enemies in it as his minions, with him apparently using them as stand ins until he can scan all of Flash's aliens again.
  • Riot-Horn battles his evil clone again. Although they start of evenly matched like last time, Flash is able to overpower his duplicate by powering up with some sunlight.
  • Flash realizes he can exploit his aliens weaknesses against Negatine. Turning into Goop, he allows Negatine to copy him and make an evil clone of him, but instead of wasting time fighting the copy, he easily disposes of it by destroying its anti-gravity UFO, leaving Negatine vulnerable long enough for him to destroy his duplication device, causing all its other creations to disappear.

"Glitches"

  • The Reveal that Dragstar's "alien tech" he used in his debut chapter, had belonged to a Galvanic Mechamorph named Gal-N. In addition, Gal-N was the captain of the ship that Vilgax destroyed in "Rise of the Technovore", essentially meaning that all three of these antagonists were Connected All Along.
  • Trixie manages to use her illusion powers to create a Kaiju, in order to prevent Gal-N from purposely crashing a Bus Full of Innocents into a building.
  • Flash uses the recalibration mode of the Omnitrix to reset it and fix the glitches Gal-N caused it to suffer all chapter, and ends up unlocking Bloxx, the exact alien he needs to both stop a train from crashing and defeat Gal-N.

"Taking Flight"

  • The opening scene has both Trixie and Devious practicing with their medallions, determined to beat each other the next time they meet.
  • Icarus manages to save quite a few people, including a window washer that fell off his pulley system, and an old woman when the others are all dealing with a major truck accident.
  • Trixie and Fleetfoot working together as Lady Masquerade and Icarus to momentarily get the upper hand against Devious, with Fleetfoot telling Trixie to make them invisible while she flies them above the tornado Devious created before diving at him and both striking him. If things had gone a bit differently the two of them could have potentially made great teammates.
  • As Devious begins draining Fleetfoot of her powers, Fleetfoot manages to summon some Heroic Willpower in defiance of Devious, grabbing her medallion before he can take it and renouncing it so it goes to someone besides him. In this case the medallion just so happens to go to Trixie.
  • Trixie's Lady Masquerade costume changes when she gains the Sky Butterfly Medallion, and in addition to the wings Fleetfoot had she also gains a fencing sabre with a butterfly-styled crossguard. She finds out after the battle that she can change which medallion she is using just by imagining which powers she needs at the moment.

"Freeze Ups and Melt Downs"

  • When Hectrix forces Flash to transform into a skunk-like alien, Flash is eventually able to use his new form to his advantage by spraying Hectrix and Gelidafur with a cloud of stink, sending the two villains running.
  • Hectrix foolishly allows Flash to transform into Grey Matter, and after Gelidafur lets slip that his species is the smartest in the galaxy, Flash quickly figures out how to beat Hectrix by creating device to shut down his suit and free himself from the access key that is hacking the Omnitrix.
  • Flash scans Gelidafur's DNA with the Omnitrix and transforms into Arctiguana. He ends up facing Gelidafur in a Mirror Match, and absolutely owns him.
Gelidafur: How? I've been this species my entire life. You've barely been one five minutes. How are you stronger?
Arctiguana: Guess I'm just a natural.
  • Arctiguana cooling down the reactor core before it can go critical.

"The Invasion of Canterlot"

  • The biggest villainous one so far, but how does Vilgax strike right at his hated foe and give him his biggest blow ever? Hijacking all the signals in the world to not only give his ultimatum to Flash but to publicly reveal his identity to the whole world and thus ensuring that his Secret Identity was beyond repair!

"Secrets of the Omnitrix"

  • When the Rainbooms are worried about their chances against Vilgax without Flash, Adagio calls them all out on their downer attitude by pointing out they didn't need Flash and his watch to beat her and her sisters before, and if Flash saw them all acting like this now he would be ashamed of them.
  • Flash learns how to change between his alien forms during his test with Azmuth. Though he is warned how this will drain the Omnitrix if he uses it too much, he uses it effectively enough to fight against Vilgax evenly for awhile.
  • Flash's transformation into Way Big, where he destroys all of Vilgax's drones and his ship before grabbing Vilgax himself. He also ties Vilgax to the very bomb he planned to destroy the Earth with before throwing them both into space, causing Vilgax to be caught in ground zero of his own device as it detonates.

    Season 3
"World Famous"
  • When an Asian leader suggests they cut off Flash's arm to get the Omnitrix, the President instantly denies this suggestion, stating he won't allow any his citizens getting their arms cut off just to possibly get the device.
  • Azmuth makes a surprise appearance when the world leaders are deciding what to do with Flash and the Omnitrix. He not only easily disables the guns some guards point at him by sending out a signal exciting the copper atoms in them, he declares in no uncertain terms that he plans to take back his Omnitrix to prevent them from misusing it unless his demands are met.
  • When Azmuth insinuates that the government would lock Flash up and try to use him as a weapon in some kind of war they started, Flash insists he would never even let them use him as a weapon, saying the moment he was dropped into the middle of a warzone the only thing he would use the Omnitrix to do is get the heck out of there, with Azmuth smirking in approval.
  • Flash stopping a bank robbery to prove he is capable of handling the Omnitrix:
    • He arrives on the scene as XLR8 and quickly uses his speed to get the police out of harms way, before disarming the crooks and changing into Diamondhead to deal with them.
    • Flash uses Chamalien to get the drop on the three remaining crooks and realize they are trying to blow the vault open with a bomb.
    • Azmuth tries to talk Flash through on how to disarm the bomb, but Flash can't understand him. He tries to go Grey Matter so he is smart enough to understand, but gets his skunk alien instead. Azmuth tells him not to try to change since that form will do, revealing the alien is actually smart, thus earning the name U-Reek-Ah.
    • Unable to completely disarm the bomb, due to an extra wire being installed as a failsafe, U-Reek-Ah has an "Eureka!" Moment and opens the vault door before letting the crooks in so they can disarm the bomb themselves knowing they wouldn't want what they were trying to steal to blow up. Then he quickly dispatches of them by shooting them with his stink gas, leading to them running outside to surrender to the police.
  • Azmuth decides it is time to bring Earth back into the fold with the Plumbers, and that a new Plumber base should be established in Canterlot, meaning Shining Armor will also begin working with them full-time. Before starting construction on it though, Azmuth uses his advanced tech to help finish cleaning up Canterlot from Vilgax's invasion, giving just another demonstration of alien technology.

"The Mysterious Creature"

  • Azmuth admits he lied to the world leaders about how it would take centuries to create another Omnitrix, just to get them off his back demanding their own for each country. The version that Flash has is just the prototype, and he is currently working on a newer version, but admits it will still be difficult.
Azmuth: If I'm going to make another Omnitrix, I won't insult myself by trying to make it exactly the same. I'll improve it.
  • Flash manages to stop Drift's pain-fueled rampage by using Pesky Dust to put him to sleep without actually hurting him. This is caught on the news and shown how Flash handled the situation, including how he calmed Drift down beforehand without even needing to transform.
  • Sunset reads Drift's mind and sees there are four more Equestrian hybrids like him out there.

"Old Friends, New Friends"

  • Princess Twilight believes it isn't safe for Drift to pass through the portal to Equestria, since his DNA could possibly destabilize if it changes from human to pony because of the portal, not to mention his other DNA strands could be unpredictably affected too. Azmuth quickly decides the best solution is for him to analyze the portal and understand its process so he can ensure Drift arrives in Equestria safely, boasting DNA resequencing is easy for one such as himself. By the end of the chapter he has already invented a device that will scan the portal when Twilight passes through it, sending data back to him, and also allow her to communicate with them while she's still in Equestria.
  • A villainous example from Tirek. He plays the part of a well meaning old man perfectly, using his past history as a Plumber as an excuse to present himself to Flash and his friends while claiming he wants to help them, all so he can get closer to their base and eventually retrieve his hybrids. He also is the one to engineer the robot attack on the city. so that he can earn everyone's trust by "saving" Flash when he is almost blasted by the robot. He even manages to pull the wool over Princess Twilight's eyes and convince her he is a good guy when she was initially suspicious of him due to his Equestrian counterpart. Truly he is a Manipulative Bastard on par with his Equestrian counterpart, or perhaps even exceeding him.

"Ready to Rumble"

  • Another medallion makes an appearance, the Iron Bull Medallion. It grants Super-Strength by magnifying the users existing strength. Iron Will uses it to become the "world's strongest wrestler", and since he was already exceptionally strong to begin with, his strength becomes more than should be humanly possible, being capable of overpowering Riot-Horn and possibly even breaking a mountain in two.
  • Flash realizes it is impossible to beat Iron Will with brute force, so he takes Applejack's advice and decides to outthink him instead. He uses several of his Weak, but Skilled aliens to fight Iron Will indirectly and confuse him. Pretty soon the whole crowd is laughing at Iron Will as Flash takes control of their match. Flash eventually wins using Grey Matter to hit a few Pressure Points to paralyze Iron Will and make him fall face first to the floor.
  • Devious has improved his magic skills enough to bring ice sculptures he creates to life.
  • Devious creates some gravity runes to deal with the heroes, claiming it is how he defeated the previous Mighty Bull user. Flash is able to overcome it by turning into Kagenobi and traveling through the shadows, therefore being unaffected by gravity.

"Hunter of Pearl"

  • Flash rescues Pearl from Dynamo Danger with his new alien Skydiver, and the two Equestrian hybrid alien proceed to completely destroy Dynamo's ship.

"Good Copy, Bad Copy"

"A Dazzling Dispute"

  • It is revealed when Sunset first came to the human world, she brought some gems and bits with her so she could get everything she needed to make it look like she had been living in the world her whole life. That's also how she was able to afford her apartment. Twilight is similarly able to get all those same documents for Adagio and her sisters in just two days.
  • Flash pits up with a lot of Adagio's attitude as she slowly reverts back to her old personality as she gets the fame she has always wanted. But when she selfishly demands he drive them to their commercial shoot instead of going after the dragon hybrid, Flash insists on doing the right thing. When Adagio selfishly calls him the "worst boyfriend ever" for putting the needs of someone else over his girlfriend, it is the last straw for Flash. He angrily tells off Adagio that he isn't doing any of this for fame or attention and she clearly hasn't changed at all like he thought she had. He actually shocks Adagio the way he roars at her over this.
  • When Aria and Sonata point out how much Adagio has changed since hanging out with Flash and how they would hate for the old her to come back, Adagio asks what was so bad about the old her, only for Sonata of all people to give an Armor-Piercing Response.
Adagio: What's wrong with the old me? I was cunning and deceptive. I was able to bend those around me to my will, even without magic. Why is it a bad thing I'm becoming like that again?
Sonata: Cause none of that made you happy. Not really. You've actually been happy with Flash and all his friends, even if you didn't have any magic or fame.
  • Adagio coming to Flash's rescue, driving his car and luring the dragon hybrid away with the glass diamond prop she took from the commercial's set. By the time it realizes it"s a fake, the Omnitrix is recharged and Flash and Shining manage to trap it.
  • Tirek has successfully hacked the Plumber base's systems, meaning he can now spy on them whenever he wants and make his move once they have collected all his hybrids for him.

"Tick Tock, Slows The Clock"

  • Rainbow Dash manages to use her Super-Speed to keep up with Nelly even as the latter uses the Rapid Turtle Medallion to slow down time for everyone but her thanks to Rainbow's speed making her so fast it is like the world is already in slow motion (something Flash comments it is like for him as XLR8 too). Even more impressive she does this while carrying Trixie with her.
  • Bushwhacker is Flash's only alien unaffected by the Mad Monkey Medallion, allowing him to fight properly against Devious on his own until Trixie returns with the Rapid Turtle Medallion.

"Viral Infection"

"Smashing the Competition"

  • When Timber starts to get jealous of Flash, both for how famous he is now and how much Twilight is helping him instead of paying attention to him, actual boyfriend, he tries to insult and talk down to Flash about his performance as a hero, only to be dismissed and ignored. Adagio eventually pulls Timber aside and shows a lot more maturity that Timber, pointing out how Twilight is helping Flash save lives and just because Flash is her boyfriend she recognizes that the two getting along isn't the same as "eyeing each other up". When Timber refuses to let go of his jealousy though, Adagio tears into him for his attitude while acknowledging that she used to be just like him until recently until she grew up, further establishing herself as a great Foil for Timber and his own attitude by showing how she has gotten better over time while he's only gotten worse.
Adagio: You know Timber, I used to be just like you for millennia. Narcissistic, wanting everyone to adore me and think I was the best, and looking down on everyone else, especially those I felt threatened by. But I grew up. So when will you?
  • When the Plumber battle armor that Timber stole malfunctions and goes out of control, Flash and Shining do everything they can to try to stop him until Twilight can hack in and shut it down. Eventually though, when Flash reverts back to human, even as he Timber's suit prepares to blast him, he refuses to run away and leave Shining defenseless, managing to keep the suit busy a little longer with the help of his hoverboard.
  • Timber being hit with Laser-Guided Karma for his actions when Shining bans him from Plumber Base and nobody speaks in his defense. For added salt in the wound, news of the damage he caused with the suit and Flash and Shining stopping him has already traveled around the city, with Flash once again getting hailed as a hero while Timber, who foolishly tried to prove he was a better hero than Flash, is called an idiot and maniac.

"Base Invaders"

  • It is shown the hybrids have all learned enough to now be able to speak in complete sentences with no trouble.
  • Flash uses the darkness in the base after the generator is sabotaged to his advantage by making good use of Kagenobi.
  • After Adagio is separated from the others she finds herself in the weapons room, arming herself and blasting the yellow drone chasing her. Shortly afterwards she saves Sunset, Rarity Rainbow, and Applejack by tossing them all some of the weapons she brought with her when they're struggling against the blue drone.
  • Cadance helping Twilight deal with the sabotage robots with a broom when they start to overwhelm her. After they are all disposed of, Flurry Heart crawls into the room with a babble, clearly wanting to help her mommy and auntie fight the robots.
  • The group fighting the combined drones in the climax, with Flash momentarily confusing it by transforming into Yak-Smasher. Once Twilight and Cadance get the power restored, Flash quickly declares a security code and has the base's security system blast the drone to kingdom come until it is just scrap metal too damaged to repair itself.

"Age is Just a Number"

  • Flash begins acting like a bratty little kid after being reduced to 8 years old. Trixie, who was aged into a young adult, manages to trick him into changing into Volt-Edge instead of Way Big by talking down about Volt-Edge, making him mad enough to change into him and prove her wrong. His ensuing temper tantrum, combined with his uncontrolled electric powers, end up zapping Doddery into dropping her magic watch.

"Tirek's Scheme"

  • Flash uses all five of his Equestrian Hybrid alien forms to stop some robbers, which also helps him get over his Heroic BSoD over their apparent deaths.

"Tirek's Crimes"

  • A villainous example for Tirek, who did something no villain from the Ben 10 series, not even Vilgax, ever succeeded on-screen. He murdered Max Tennyson!
  • After realizing the hybrids are still alive, the heroes realize they never took out Scoop's tracking device, meaning they can use it to find him and the others.
  • Flash and the others fight Tirek onboard his ship, and finally realize he was the one responsible for creating the hybrids all along.
    • When the hybrids wake up during the battle and are told how Tirek created them and was planning to use a fatal cloning procedure on them, they all glare at him in anger and look ready to attack him over this.
    • During the battle, Sunset accidentally reads Tirek's mind, discovering his secrets of stolen alien technology and killing Max Tennyson. After everyone returns to base, she reports all of this to Azmuth.

"Tirek's Rampage"

    Season 4
"From Time to Time PT1"
  • Twenty years in the future, Flash has the title "Hero of 10,000 Alien Forms".

"From Time to Time PT2"

"Get in the Spider Zone"

  • Chrysalis makes her debut in the series.
    • When Flash, Trixie, Shining, and the Rainbooms confront her in her office, Sunset gets the proof they need that she is responsible for the earlier theft thanks to Sunset reading her mind. They also snatch her computer to find the stolen data on it.
    • It initially looks like Chrysalis is going to hand over her Medallion peacefully, only to suddenly activate it and teleport everyone right outside her office in an attempt to make them fall to their deaths.
    • Chrysalis gains extra spider-like legs in her costume, which she uses to great effect during her battle with the heroes.
  • Flash realizes a weakness in Chrysalis' teleportation abilities. She can teleport anything in her web and above it, but not below it, remembering how she didn't teleport down from her office and instead created cobwebs to use as invisible platforms to get down. With that in mind, he manages to attack her from below as Diamutt.
  • When it looks like Chrysalis is beaten, Devious ends up appearing and saving her from the heroes, and rather than steal her powers for himself, he unexpectedly proposes the two of them team-up to defeat Trixie and her friends. Chrysalis agrees to his plan.

"Digital Dilemma"

  • The fact that everyone managed to survive Viral turning the base into a death trap.
  • Flash goes Upgrade for the first time on-screen and fights Viral in the Plumber systems. Though she almost manages to corrupt him and take over his body, he gets a Heroic Second Wind and manages to almost completely delete her. Unfortunately, a small fragment of her survived and escaped.
  • Viral is quickly found by a mysterious individual, who offers to give her a body of her own and a chance for revenge against Flash.

"No One Can Hear You Scream"

  • Flash uses Goop in a zero gravity environment, the same as Goop's home planet, meaning he doesn't need his anti-gravity projector and is in his element.
  • Flash defeats the Fictusite with one of his new aliens, Lantool, which has Green Lantern styled powers.
  • While Flash, Shining, and Rarity were off-world, someone broke out Dragstar after Flash just captured him earlier that day. Clearly someone is taking an interest in Flash's old enemies.

"Love Lost"

  • Twilight manages to study the dust created from the magical potion and develops an antidote for the city-wide Hate Plague.
  • Flash's first use of the final alien unlocked by his future self, Gyrotor. Not only does he easily overpower Devious when their powers clash, absorbing his fireballs with a gale of wind and having the burning winds slam into Devious, he is able to create a trio of weak tornados to help distribute Twilight's cure across the entire city.
  • Though Trixie struggles against both Devious and Chrysalis for most of the chapter on her own, when she is left alone while Gyrotor spreads the antidote around town, she finally manages to do a solid illusion for the first time. This catches both villains off-guard long enough for help to arrive and force them to retreat.
  • Despite Decious and Chrysalis failing to get any of the Medallions Trixie has, it is revealed they are also working for the mysterious benefactor, and their plan served as the perfect distraction that allowed them to steal what they needed unopposed.

"Break Up Reaction"

  • The B-Plot of the chapter has Shining take on a solo mission, investigating a strange bank robbery done by someone who can go through walls. This leads to him chasing a biker across town, as the biker phases through several walls, until Shining uses an EMP to disable the technology letting him do it. Then he interrogates the guy by threatening to turn him over to the Plumbers and "have him probed" to see if he's an alien based on the tech he had, causing him to panic and explain he was given the tech and told to cause some trouble with it.
  • When Timber tries to convince Twilight to take him back, Spike speaks up not just as a loyal pet but her friend, telling off Timber that she's not interested in him and reminding Twilight he can't remember the last time she came home gushing about Timber.
  • Adagio calls out Timber for not doing anything to help during an emergency with a collapsing building. When he says he doesn't have any powers to help like Flash and Twilight do, Adagio says plenty of normal people with no powers find ways to help, and proves it by helping get everyone stuck in a crashed bus out by smashing the window with a brick and telling everyone who is able to to get out.
  • Flash reverts to normal before he can help one more old woman trapped in the collapsing building. Unable to wait for the Omnitrix to recharge, Flash rushes inside in human form and carries the elder woman out on his back himself. Flash acknowledges he could have been killed doing this, but says if he's only a hero with the Omnitrix then he doesn't deserve it.
Flash: I get there are things that I can only do in alien form, but firemen and police officers go into collapsing buildings to save people. If I'm not willing to do the same, what kind of hero am I?

"Twilight's Haunting"

"Group Therapy"

  • Ghostfreak once again gets a chance to shine in this chapter.
    • The very first scene is Flash using him to stop a Hostage Situation taking place at a software company.
    • He later takes over Flash's body while he's sleeping, changes him into him, and goes after the six villains when they are trying to lure him out and takes them all on by himself in complete silence. This proves Ghostfreak is not only a One-Man Army, but even potentially a Story-Breaker Power for Flash, seeing him take down the villains with brutal efficiency, and actually scares Animac due to how Flash isn't saying a single thing throughout the entire fight.

"Ghostfreaked Out"

  • Flash finally faces the enemy his future self warned him about, Zs'Skayr! When Ghostfreak escapes from the Omnitrix and announces his true name, Flash remembers the advice his future self gave him, and uses Zs'Skayr's weakness against sunlight against him, while bragging that telling him his name was his worst mistake.
  • Azmuth actually gets involved against Zs'Skayr, and tries to help by creating a UV cage to trap him in. It seemingly works, until Zs'Skayr is able to push his claws through the cage, even as it is burning his hands, and destroy a projector to shut it off, shocking even Azmuth.
  • Flash having himself and Zs'Skayr teleported to the Sahara Desert, where Zs'Skayr is almost instantly destroyed. But as he is destroyed, Zs'Skayr vows he will be back, which Flash knows will be true somehow and promises he'll be ready for him.
  • With the reveal that the enemy Flash was warned about at the start of the season is actually a Disc-One Final Boss, that leaves the mysterious benefactor behind all the other villains as the true main antagonist of the season.

"Parental Misguidance"

  • When Flash's parents freak out over his latest Near-Death Experience against Zs'Skayr and try to get Azmuth to remove the Omnitrix from him, Azmuth proves to be a Reasonable Authority Figure by refusing to take the Omnitrix away from Flash against his will, since he has done nothing to warrant it, and when he immeidately asks Flash what he thinks and Flash says he doesn't want it removed, Azmuth says that's final. He also spends most of the chapter explaining to Trail and Misty how he understands they are worried about Flash but being overprotective of him will do more harm than good to both him and everyone around him, relating what happened with Albedo.
  • In a villainous example, Negatine successfully breaks out his six allies from prison and the seven of them manage to escape by creating decoys of themselves as a diversion for Flash and him unable to chase after them due to preventing other inmates from escaping.

"Stars and Shields Forever"

  • Trixie gets Amethyst Star to expose her powers to her by throwing some makeup at her, with Amethyst bring up her shield reflexively. Then to get her to trust her, Trixie reveals to her that she's Lady Masquerade.
  • The Iron Serpent Medallion is so powerful that Devious recalls it was the hardest one he had to retrieve originally. During the battle we see that the shield it creates is even able to stop magic from penetrating it, including Chrysalis' webs.
  • The Dazzlings help during the battle by cutting a rope to drop a chandelier on top of Devious. He manages to jump out of the way in time but it distracts him long enough to stop using his Mad Monkey Medallion on everyone, giving them the chance to fight back.
  • Though Trixie successfully keeps another Medallion out of Devious' hands, it turns out that the battle also served as a distraction to allow the other villains to steal some stuff that the mastermind behind their team-up needed. Then, after the villains all regroup, it is revealed to the reader that the mastermind and the main antagonist of the season is non-other than Shadow, Flash's evil copy.

"Ten V Ten"

  • Sunset realizes that Devious and Chrysalis are deliberately holding back during their fight, and after a quick conversation with the other teams realizes only six of the nine known villains are attacking and they are just distracting them.
  • The initial fight against the villains in the climax ends with all nine of them defeated. Seems good for the heroes before Shadow makes his big reveal by Emerging from the Shadows.
  • Shadow reveals that he has created a device that will let him see into other universes and create copies of the technology from them. He intends to use it to find a superior version of the Omnitrix and use it to defeat Flash and his friends. He succeeds in finding what he was looking for, revealing the Ultimatrix at the end of the chapter and transforming into Ultimate Riot-Horn with it.
