Major Characters

    Beast Boy

Beast Boy / Garfield Logan

Voiced by: Midj916

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: He has green skin.
  • Animorphism: Name an animal and he has been it.
  • Ascended Extra: He was originally The Ghost in the web series. Here, he's one of the main viewpoint characters and likely The Protagonist.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: The nature of his powers means he usually resorts to galloping or flying at the enemy, transforming into something brutish and wailing on whatever he can reach. He spends many battles rapidly shifting forms to alter his approach and keep his foes from getting comfortable.
  • A Beast in Name and Nature: Beast Boy, who can turn into any animal.
  • Berserk Button: Do not call, or insulate that, cartoons are inferior, especially when you're an Anime character.
  • The Berserker: Beast Boy is usually the most bull-headed of whatever team he's currently in when it comes to fighting as he usually charges into combat with brute force. Although that's when he's tamed and angering him will is possibly when Beast Boy is at his most dangerous state as he will usually act out in a literal animalistic fury. The best example is where he attacks Bakugou immediately after the latter brutally beats Robin with an Explosion to the face.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Beast Boy is easily the most energetic and excitable member of the current team he's on, and enjoys having fun and throwing himself into the action more than anyone.
  • Close-Range Combatant: His animal transformations lack any inherent range capabilities (with the exception of his alien ones depending on the individual), limiting Beast Boy into having to get up close to fight an adversary.
  • Clothing Damage: He gets his suit torn from taking an explosion blast from Bakugou in Episode 4.
  • Composite Character: Despite originating from the 2003 Teen Titans animated series, Beast Boy's physical appearance and characterization are akin to his DC Animated Movie Universe counterpart.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Green hair with green eyes.
  • Emerald Power: Beast Boy is a shapeshifter with green skin.
  • Hair Color Dissonance: Eye Color Dissonance, as Beast Boy's green eyes can look yellow green, or gold in different lighting.
  • Hot-Blooded: Downplayed. He isn't usually temperamental but can get easily riled if he and/or fellow cartoons are being mistreated by the Anime characters.
  • Killer Gorilla: When he goes up against Katsuki, along with feeling enraged by what the latter did to Robin, Beast Boy takes the form of a gorilla.
  • Magic Pants: His hero costume doesn't rip or get disturbed by his animal transformations.
  • Red Is Violent: Downplayed. He wears a red costume but isn't usually violent unless sufficiently provoked by others.
  • Rhino Rampage: He would transform into a rhino to demolish his way through entryways, and has taken on this form to try and fail to intimidate Rin and Mustang during the Crossover Festival..
  • Wrong Context Magic: Downplayed. Katsuki mistakes Beast Boy's animal transformation power as a Quirk, which isn't technically wrong as "Quirks" in the My Hero Academia world are a form of mutation like the metahumans and mutants in DC and Marvel respectively.

    Danny Phantom

Danny Phantom / Danny Fenton

Voiced by: Otakuva
Origin: Danny Phantom

  • Artificial Hybrid: He's a half-ghost and half-human hybrid from the result of a Freak Lab Accident.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em:
    • He doesn't join Beast Boy and the group to storm the Anime House due to the immense power difference between Anime and Cartoon characters, which he's got a point given what transpires later. Though, it's implied he'll be joining after Episode 4.
    • Before that event, he even prevents Beast Boy from acting out of anger over them being denied to attend the Crossover Festival despite already paying for their tickets, as it won't end well by trying to barge their way into the festival filled to the brim with Anime characters. He even goes as far to implicitly threaten Beast Boy with a Death Glare to showcase just how dire the situation would be if he let Beast Boy take a swing at Rin.
  • Let Me Get This Straight...: He says this 2 hours In-Universe before the start of the first episode, repeating to Garfield the latter's plan to "storm the Anime House along with 4 other Cartoon characters and wreck the place".
  • Punch Catch: He does this to Beast Boy to prevent the latter from attacking Rin out of anger and giving him and Mustang a reason to kill them in "self-defense".

    Robin

Robin / Dick Grayson

Voiced by: Leland Manigo (voice archive)

  • Badass Normal: He has no superpowers, but is a capable fighter and leader with his wits, advanced gadgets, and life-long training and fighting experience.
  • Composite Character: He originates from the 2003 Teen Titans animated show, but his costume is akin to Damian Wayne from the DC Animated Movie Universe.
  • The Leader: Of the Teen Titans, and also to the current group that's storming the Anime House.
  • Telescoping Staff: Also overlapping with Martial Arts Staff and Staff of Authority. Robin's main weapon of choice is a telescope bo staff, and he's a master martial artist second to Jack and serves as the group's leader in storming the Anime House.
  • The Team Normal: He's the only member of the group that's not a metahuman (Beast Boy), a Bender/God in Human Form (Aang), a human with alien ancestry (Ben), or even a normal human wielding advanced alien tech (again, Ben) and/or magical weapon (Jack).
  • The Worf Effect: He gets brutally knocked out by Bakugou to show that not only does a Badass Normal have limits against an opponent with both powers and skills, but also to show how it won't be easy for the Cartoon characters to beat the Anime characters.

    Aang

Aang

Voiced by: Mark Phillips (voice archive)

  • Blow You Away: Being an Airbender, Aang can manipulate air to either blow his opponents away or render his body void of air resistance to increase his speed.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Despite being Animesque Cartoon character whose show is pretty much an Affectionate Parody of Japanese anime, it's still not enough for him to be let inside of the Anime House and still gets disrespected like the rest of the Cartoon House. Even Beast Boy states that out of all of [Cartoon House], Aang deserves to be there the most and that casting him out doesn't seem right.
  • God in Human Form: He's the Avatar, a Bender who can use all four elements and more...

    Ben 10

Ben Tennyson / Ben 10

Voiced by: Ben Skinner (voice archive)
Origin: Ben 10 (UAF)

  • The Berserker: He fights this way through his Arnodrillo transformation, allowing him to tank a knife to the back by Thorfinn (which the blade also broke) and beat him up badly in return, as well as knock Spike into bloody unconsciousness.
  • The Big Guy: He serves as this for the group he's in due to the Ultimatrix allowing him to transform into many powerful aliens. To give an example, he can fight Goku to a standstill as Alien X.
  • The Omnipotent: As described in his Eye Catch in Episode 2, Alien X can do anything in short.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: As Alien X, Ben becomes nigh-omnipotent or full omnipotent and capable of affecting reality around him, which can involve a lot of property damage and unconscious opponents.
  • Reality Warper: As a nigh or full-omnipotent being, Alien X can warp reality, time, and space with ease and at any level he wishes. Even his thoughts can become real.
  • Transformation Trinket: He wields the Ultimatrix after all, allowing him to transform into thousands of different alien species.
  • Tunnel King: By using Arnodrillo, he digs his way underground till he is directly under the Anime House, and then digs himself upwards to surprise them.
  • Turns Red: Whenever Ben's alien transformations' normally green glow turns red, it means he's about to get serious.

    Samurai Jack

Samurai Jack

Voiced by: Desmond Johnson (voice archive)
Origin: Samurai Jack

  • Badass Normal: Besides his divine sword, Jack's other skills are all him.
  • Cool Sword: He wields a divine sword forged by the gods as his primary weapon.
  • Hunter of His Own Kind: Just like in the web series, Jack would take on the "samurai" Anime characters, such as Afro Samurai.
  • Made of Iron: Takes a Diagonal Cut to the left shoulder from Afro, but he still manages to hold himself together and continues to give Afro a challenge.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: He takes a major sword slash across his left shoulder by Afro with little reaction.
  • Light Is Good: He wears a white kimono and wields a divine sword only capable of slaying the wicked, and he's very much a hero.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He makes his dynamic entry by kicking Bam unconscious.

Minor Characters

    Dipper Pines

Mason "Dipper" Pines

Voiced by: ???
Origin: Gravity Falls

  • Bit Character: He only gets one scene where Danny asks him if he wants to join Beast Boy and the other Cartoon House members to storm the Anime House, causing Dipper to nervously ask if there's anything else he could do.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Brown hair with brown eyes.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Similar to Danny, even he knows picking a fight with the Anime characters wouldn't end well.

    Gumball and Darwin

Gumball and Darwin Watterson

Voiced by: ??? (Gumball), ??? (Darwin)

  • Ambiguously Brown: Instead of an anthropomorphic goldfish with legs, Darwin is a seemingly brown-skinned human.
  • Bit Character: They only give a Flat "What" in response to Danny's question of whether or not they'll be willing to storm the Anime House.
  • Flat "What": They asked this in response to Danny asking them if they want to storm the Anime House, but whether it's because they didn't hear Danny the first time or giving a Double Take in regards to going up against the Anime characters is unclear.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Assuming they heard Danny correctly, it's likely neither of them is willing to storm the Anime House given how powerful the Anime characters are.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Instead of an anthropomorphic cat, Gumball is a gender-inverted Cat Girl. For Darwin, it's unknown due to the camera angle not showing his full body.
  • Those Two Guys: They're never seen apart.

    BMO

BMO

Voiced by: None

  • The Cameo: They only show up as a console for Gumball and Darwin to play video games.

    The Crystal Gems

The Crystal Gems (Steven Universe, Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl)

Voiced by: ??? (Steven Universe), ??? (Garnet)

  • Bit Character: Like Dipper, Gumball, and Darwin beforehand, Steven and Garnet only say a few lines in their brief appearance.
  • Blunt "No": Garnet bluntly says this in response to Danny's question of whether she, Steven, and the other Gems are joining the group to storm the Anime House. While Steven merely states that it ain't happening following Garnet's response.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Like with Danny, Dipper, Gumball, and Darwin beforehand, not even they are willing to mess with the Anime characters despite having to deal with their own numerous adversaries.

Anime House

    Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya - Deku

Voiced by: Otakuva

  • Cassandra Truth: Double subverted. Like in the web series, Izuku's warning that the Cartoon House is attacking isn't disregarded by others, but they still don't take the threat seriously since they're "cartoons".
  • Not So Above It All: Despite Izuku being a Nice Guy with the earnest and kindness to help others in need, not even he seems to be empathetic to the Cartoon characters plight aside from not underestimating them as a threat.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Averted. He's one of the few Anime characters who doesn't underestimate the threat that the Cartoon characters are capable of.

    Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki Bakugou

Voiced by: SINATRA335

  • Antagonist Abilities: As Beast Boy noted, he finds Bakugou's Explosion Quirk to be questionable and how it couldn't be any more annoying to deal with.
  • Blood Knight: Just like in My Hero Academia, he's always ready for a good brawl, if not actively looking for one in order to prove his superiority. He even monologues on how "fun" it's going be in his fight against Beast Boy.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed as he's a hero-in-training, but not a really nice person. When he serves as an antagonist to the Cartoon characters, he wears the same black clothing during his second fight with Izuku on their own show.
  • Didn't See That Coming: Just when he was about to deal Beast Boy a Finishing Move, he really didn't expect him to vanish in thin air...and then get punched by Beast Boy's Killer Gorilla form.
  • Disappointed by the Motive: When hearing Beast Boy's claim of why they came and trash the Anime House, Katsuki can only laugh in response and states that if that's the reason, then he and the rest of the Cartoon characters can leave already as they don't stand a chance against the Anime characters.
  • Explosion Propulsion: He can use explosions to achieve Not Quite Flight and Speed Blitz.
  • Having a Blast: His Quirk, Explosion, allows him to create explosions through his palms.
  • More Insulting than Intended: Exaggerated. He calls Beast Boy, and the Cartoon House by extension, "extras" as he would normally do to those he finds beneath him. Unaware that by doing so, he's also hitting Beast Boy's Berserk Button and Trauma Button simultaneously, which might become his undoing as it only motivates Beast Boy into fighting harder.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: He inflicts this onto Robin when the group let their guard down in Episode 3, and might've crippled or nearly kill Robin given that he let out a direct explosion to the latter's face. Even though the Cartoon characters committed home invasion assault and battery, it's still excessive for self-defense on Katsuki's end, especially on a perpetrator without any inherent Super-Toughness.
  • Power Palms: His Quirk allows him to create explosions through his palms.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: His irises are blood red, and he serves as an antagonist to the Cartoon House.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Unlike Izuku, Katsuki also shares the same discriminatory "view" of the Cartoon characters as most of the other Anime characters, especially for them not being on the same "level" as them. This allows Beast Boy to get in close by transforming into a small gnat before shifting back into his Killer Gorilla form.

Villain House

Others

    Madara Uchiha

Voiced by:
Origin: Naruto

    Natsu Hinata

Voiced by:
Origin: Haikyuu!!

    Shōyō Hinata

Voiced by:
Origin: Haikyuu!!

    Endeavor

Endeavor / Enji Todoroki

Voiced by: None

  • The Cameo: He only makes an appearance in a photo taken by Hinata.

    Asuna

Asuna Yuuki / Asuna

Voiced by: LUNAFREYAVA

  • Official Couple: With Kazuto.
  • Thinks Like a Romance Novel: To a slight degree. Asuna is not incorrect in thinking that the Crossover Festival is a "dream come true" for everyone to get together, put aside their differences, and just have fun. However, it's a "dream come true" for Anime characters only as the next scene shows that cartoons are not allowed in despite the implied advertisement stating no such thing.

    Kirito

Kazuto Kirigaya / Kirito

Voiced by: IM NIER

  • Dark Is Not Evil: He wears black and is a hero.
  • No Sense of Direction: He got lost in a forest and is having trouble finding the Ramen Ichiraku stand where Asuna, Izuku, and Katsuki are eating at currently. Asuna lampshades this in her inner monologue as she should've known Kazuto would end up like this.
  • Official Couple: With Asuna.

    Tetsuya Kuroko

Tetsuya Kuroko

Voiced by: SOOKIEVA

  • Bait-and-Switch: It initially appeared that Shigaraki was eavesdropping on Kirito's conversation with Izuku and remarking to the latter he shouldn't be so selfish in not buying a bowl of ramen for Kirito in a low tone, only to reveal that it's merely Kuroko instead.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Blue hair with blue eyes.
  • Invisible Introvert: Discussed. He asks Kirito if he's that unnoticeable, which the latter complies...causing Kuroko to have slight depression.
  • Last-Name Basis: He's referred to by his last name instead of his first.
  • The Quiet One: He rarely talks and if he does, it's never above a certain volume.

    Rin Okumura

Rin Okumura

Voiced by: IM NIER
Origin: Blue Exorcist

  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed. He wears black clothing, and while not evil, he is a bigoted jerk towards the cartoons.
  • Did You Actually Believe...?: As he tells it to Beast Boy, he, Danny, and Jack shouldn't be surprised that they're not allowed entry to the Crossover Festival given that they're "cartoons". Later, he also rhetorically asks if Beast Boy is serious about "forcing" his way in as the Anime characters can literally kill him, Danny, and Jack in the blink of an eye (completed with an Imagine Spot of Beast Boy and Danny lying on the pavement bloodied and dead).
  • Evil Laugh: He gives this sort of laugh in response to Beast Boy's Implied Death Threat of "forcing" his way in the Crossover Festival.
  • Human-Demon Hybrid: He's a Nephilim, an offspring between a human and a demon.
  • Implied Death Threat: He gives one in response to Beast Boy's own, by egging him on to try and see what happens if he does.
  • Irony: In Blue Exorcist, Rin suffers from being an outcast due to his temper problems and later has to deal with the discrimination of being the son of Satan after his heritage is revealed. Here, he's not only willing to help and enforce the segregation and discriminatory policies against the Cartoon characters but actively taunts them for being "lesser" in the power scale.
  • Pointy Ears: He has this as part of his demon heritage.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He and Mustang only appeared in flashbacks, but their taunts to Beast Boy are what motivates him to storm the Anime House in the first place to demand respect.
  • Straight Man and Wise Guy: The Wise Guy to Roy's Straight Man, as Rin would be the first to crack jokes and insults Beast Boy while Roy would stay quiet unless it becomes funny for him.

    Roy Mustang

Col. Roy Mustang

Voiced by: KAZZYVA

  • Curtains Match the Windows: Black hair with black eyes.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed. He wears black clothing, and while not evil, he is a bigoted jerk towards the cartoons.
  • Did You Actually Believe...?: Adding to Rin's Implied Death Threat, Roy remarks that he knew that [cartoons] weren't even close to their level, but Beast Boy even thinking that he and the other cartoons can force their way in the Crossover Festival just sets a new low.
  • Evil Laugh: He gives this sort of laugh along with Rin in response to Beast Boy's Implied Death Threat of "forcing" his way in the Crossover Festival.
  • Irony: In Fullmetal Alchemist, he had the goal to reform the military and to atone for the atrocities and discrimination that the Ishvalan people suffered through. Here, he's not only willing to help and enforce the segregation and discriminatory policies against the Cartoon characters but actively taunts them for being "lesser" in the power scale.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He and Rin only appeared in flashbacks, but their taunts to Beast Boy are what motivates him to storm the Anime House in the first place to demand respect.
  • Straight Man and Wise Guy: The Straight Man to Rin's Wise Guy, as Roy would act stoic while Rin would be the first to crack jokes and insult Beast Boy, but will join in if the situation gets too funny for him to hold it in.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Despite being a grown man, Roy has no problems with joining in on the ridicule of the Cartoon characters, with many of them being minors. Furthermore, he would also be willing to kill Beast Boy and Danny if they were to force their way into the Crossover Festival.

    Seto Kaiba

Seto Kaiba

Voiced by: None
Origin: Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: While it's usually inverted with Seto Kaiba, he plays this straight with the "Crossover Festival"; barring the entry of Cartoon characters despite the implication that he made no such rule in the advertisement, and will ignore any complaint filed against him, including ones for refunds.
  • The Faceless: He's only seen in a "Back to Camera" Pose in a Imagine Spot.
  • Minor Major Character: He's only seen in an Imagine Spot through Rin's words, but his hosting of the Crossover Festival and discriminatory actions to the Cartoon characters through Very False Advertising helps fan the flames for the Cartoon House to storm the Anime House.
  • Purple Is Powerful: He wears his purple trenchcoat from the Waking the Dragons arc, and is both a powerful Duelist and CEO of Kaiba Corp.
