    Autumn Wolffe and Storm Wollfe

Autumn Wolffe

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfq5wpp_630041fe_4882_4a6b_9dad_865eca67115a.png
The Most Powerful Witch in the Sanctuary

Autumn Wolffe is a member of the Triumvirate along with Izmia and Maleena.

She wasn't always the most powerful Sorceress in the Sanctuary however. She used to be a boy until her 18th birthday when her magic awakened and she turned herself into who she truly wanted to be.

In her own universe she runs a nonprofit business. She helps those seeking a new perspective, an escape from daily stress, or even an entirely new life.

She met the man who would become her wife, Seraphina Wolffe, as a patient of hers. She helped him find his, now her, true self and escape an abusive work relationship. During this time they fell for each other and later were married. They would adopt two children around this time. Storm the Wolfgirl and Luna the Silver Dragon.

After being contacted by the Sanctuary, she agreed to join as a member, eventually becoming a Council member and later Triumvirate.

It was at Sanctuary that Autumn would aid William Birkin, preventing his death by turning him into a young Chimera girl, Bibi. It was here that she met Lucifer. Yes, that Lucifer. For some reason, Lucy had an infatuation with Autumn after she saved Birkin. She would begin a relationship with her and her wife Seraphina. After a year, Autumn was pregnant with Lucifer's child, giving birth to Lily, the only heir of the Devil.

Nowadays, she's happily married to her two wives, with 5 children. 4 adopted, one biological. The last child to be adopted was one Delphini Riddle, now Wolffe, daughter of the Dark Lord Voldemort. She offered the teenage girl a new, loving family and she happily accepted, going against her evil father's wishes.

  • Big Good: As a member of the Sanctuary's Triumvirate, she can be considered as such.
  • Hot Witch: At the very least, she is considered that way by some people.
  • Our Witches Are Different: She may be called a witch, but she doesn't fit the stereotypes.
  • Redhead in Green: A bit more subtle, in the sense that she's not in green, but has green eyes to go with her red hair.
  • The Archmage: She is one of the most powerful users of Magic in the Sanctuary, so obviousy. However, in terms of raw magic power, she has been shown to be no match for characters like Castoria Alter, despite declaring herself the "strongest living mage".

Storm Wolffe

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/storm_wolffe_by_autumn_the_witch_dg4wb6r_375w_2x.jpg
Holy Knight of the Grail Sword
Godess Form/Ragnarok
First Chara-Design
Adopted daughter of Autumn and Seraphina, and the biological daughter of Fenrir and an unknown woman, Storm was abandoned in a winter blizzard as a pup with only a cardboard box and an adult sized jacket as a blanket. She was found and adopted by Autumn, who named her Storm after the blizzard she was found in. Storm grew up in a loving home, but never really got over her original abandonment and ended up being an angry and aggressive teen. As she grew up and met the love of her life, Draco, she began to mature and chose to focus her aggression and anger on training. After a grueling quest to rescue her beloved Draco from Draco's evil mother, she chose to become a modern knight, focusing herself on swordsmanship, chivalry, honor, and protecting the innocent. It was also during this quest that she would learn of her parentage, the great Wolf God of Ragnarok, Fenrir, and her title as Daughter of Apocalypse. Despite her dark blood and trauma, she has become a paragon of virtue, truth, and kindness.
  • Badass Boast: She delivers one against Gilgamesh.
    • "Ragnarok: I'm more than a warrior... [...] I am destruction. I am the death of universes made flesh! I AM RAGNAROK!!!"
  • Guns Akimbo: Her former main weapons are two twin guns: Lunar and Solar.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Since she is destined to wield the Holy Blade, inevitably.
  • Infinity +1 Sword: Since the fight against Camaro, she uses the Sword of the Grail as her weapon.
  • Noble Wolf: She is a wolf girl, as expected of Fenrir's daughter. She is also the Knight of Truth.
  • Only the Chosen May Wield: She's the one who is chosen to wield the Holy Blade.
  • Shock and Awe: She uses against Gilgamesh a bolt of pure destruction, appropriate for the embodiment of an apocalypse like the Ragnarok.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Her Ragnarok form, in which she becomes a complete divinity.
  • The Chosen One: She is to wield the Holy Blade.
  • The Order: She is the head of the Knights of the Iron Grail.
    Maleena Mitchell
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfq5zj8_cccc226b_fc17_43f2_8c3c_a71658b31d34.png
The Apophis
Jormungandr Form

Here's Maleena, the beautiful and ever popular Apophis woman.Member of the Triumvirat, Maleena is the most social of its members.

What most do not know is that Maleena wasn't always this mesmerizing beauty. She was a human male transformed by an Hindu god statue that now rest in the Vault.

It appears the statue awoke Maleena's true self as the Goddess of Chaos. Of course, she use her humongous powers for the force of Good. Her venom contains a powerful neurotoxin that lets her take control of her victims. She can rewrite reality to her will and even entered a pocket dimension.

Maleena is married to both Anabelle and Nero Claudius. Her beauty mades her one of the loved person of the Sanctuary. She is strong, beautiful and protective.

You can always count on her !

  • Big Good: As a member of the Sanctuary's Triumvirate, she can be considered as such.
  • Elemental Powers: She uses electricity against the Grendel Symbiote.
  • Forced Transformation : Her venom can do that.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: She has it in her Jormungandr form.
  • Kill It with Ice: Or rather "Kill It with Cold", since like all snakes, she has a severe weakness to cold.
  • Pocket Dimension: She control a entire pocket dimension.
  • Reality Warper: One of her abilities.
  • Snakes Are Sexy: Her description definitely proves that she is considered as one.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Her Jormungandr form, which makes her more powerful than Izmia and Autumn combined.
    • "Maleena is the most powerful of the three members of the Triumvirat, far outmatching both Izmia and Autumn combined. While the Sanctuary's foes were prepared to confront Maleena in her Apophis form, they are not against her Jormungandr form."
    Arceus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfqsz51_c76eb080_3409_4d8d_97f1_b6f504f55a14.png
God of Pokemon
Arceus, the Alpha Pokemon, was introduced in the Fourth Generation of Pokemon. She was described as the progenitor of the Pokemon Universe and the Creation Trio and the Lake Guardians.

Arceus is also linked to the mysterious Unown. Arceus is the key to the answer of the Ruins of Alph mystery by revealing a secret temple in a piece of land in-between Jotho and Sinnoh, the Sinjoh Ruins, containing the Mystri Stage, where Arceus performs a ritual (with a lot of alchemic imagery) to give birth to a new version of Dialga/Palkia and Giratina

Arceus is a very motherly Pokemon, caring about all living creatures. She firmly believe in redemption.

She was also the giver of the Jewel of Life, residing in the Vault at the most protected level.

  • Cosmic Egg: Arceus is an Avatar from God, who is born directly from the Root.
  • God: God is the one who created the Omniverse, and she is his avatar in the Pokemonverse.
  • Light Is Good
  • Parental Neglect: She suffered it in a very strange way. She, as God, is born from the Root but was sent into the void where it hatched. And even if later Void Shiki (the incarnation of the Root) wants to spoil her, it's pretty obvious that it's just because it amuses her.
    Lucifer Morningstar
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfq7aof_4490077f_217c_464d_879b_879a4bd3fc9c.png
CEO of Hell
Originel/Archangel Form
Lucifer, aka the Devil, aka the Snake, is the ruler of Hell. She is the most powerful out of all demons. She's a manipulative woman who wanted to recruit more souls in Hell. She's good friend with Justice who, with her help, banished Beelzebub into the Abyssal Void.

One day, a human male made his way to Hell and enrolled many demons in his harem. Which included Lucifer. It was also there that Lucifer met Azazel. This was then that Lucifer manipulated Azazel into transforming into a Fallen Angel. But that ended up biting her in the ass later as Azazel, renamed Loremaster, took over Hell and made Lucy her maid.

Of course, one could theorized that Lucy manipulated and lied her way back to the Throne of Hell. Much later, she was attracted to the Sanctuary, curious to see what's up. She let Lilith took the rains as CEO of Hell. She came accros Autumn healing Birkin, mortally injured by HUNK and his men, into Bibi the Chimera. HUNK was also transformed into Glacia the Glacies, because he was caught in the cross-fire with the Security Service.

Touched by Autumn's compassion over such an evil person, she decided to follow her around before, after much dating and the conception of Lily Morningstar, the hair to the Throne of Hell.

But Lucifer have a secret... When exiled from Heaven, Lucifer lost an Emerald, who crashed on Earth and was taken by Humanity. She searched for it but not no avail. She wanted it back to regain her full power. But she then accepted the fact and moved on. Now, maybe the Sanctuary will found clues to it. All she hope is that the Sanctuary will keep it safe.

Due to her skill in manipulation and lying, telling to everyone what they want to hear, she would make an excellent politician. But she's not interest in Mortal politics. She only care for Hell's well-being and making sure demons are now understood by Mortals and accepted as not being inherently evil. They just know exactly how Humanity works and used it to their advantage.

  • Dark Is Not Evil: A little bit all the principle of the character. She is the Devil, but she is good. The Trope can also apply to demons apparently, according to her description.
    Nero and Draco

Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nero_1.jpg
Fifth Emperor of Rome
The Fifth Emperor of Rome, also known as the Emperor of Roses. Nero Claudius Caesar Augusut Germanicus, or simply called Nero, was one of the most famous emperor for nearly all the wrong reasons.

Popular culture remember her as "Mad Emperor Nero", the Emperor who burned Rome and persecuted the Christians to no end, to the point as the Book of Revelation made her its main antagonist. Yes, the Beast of the Apocalypse was inspired by Nero's endless persecution of the Christians, saw as political agitators at the time.

Something that people doesn't know is that most of the things she known to for were in fact probably made up by her political adversaries. Nero was in fact close the people. The People of Rome loved her very much while she was despised by the political elite of Rome.

But there was a shadow behind her. The real monster. Agrippina the Younger, her mother. Agrippina plotted to put Nero in power and manipulate her. She was the sole reason for Nero having constant migraines. History says that Nero ordered the assassination of her mother. Later, Nero would know the same fate, as the assassination of Emperor were kind of the national sport.

During her life, she came into contact with a strange emerald. Nero used it as glasses during the games of the Coliseum of Rome. Legend said this emerald cured Nero's terrible eyesight, changing her eye color to a more olive green color. This fabulous emerald disappeared during the burning of Rome, never to be seen again. Popular legend said this emerald was an important Christian relic given to Nero.

After her death, she got reborned in modern time, waking up in the Coliseum. She later met Izmia who brought her to the Sanctuary where she rapidly became a Council Member and got in charge of Political diplomacy. Her skill and charisma (and eternal beauty) being extremely useful tools.Nero is also an extremely qualified swordfighter, nearly matching Artoria Pendragon's skills. But where she lacks in strength (even tho she got superhuman strenght) she have in agility and mobility.

She later met with Maleena and fell in love with her. Both got later married alongside Anabelle and she birth the little snake girl Agrippa.

Nero is the most popular and loved resident of the Sanctuary.Rumor said that the most en vogue French politician have some kind of obsession with her.....

Nero Claudius (Bride)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nero_bride.jpg
Nero Saber (Bride) is a Servant summoned by Maleena Mitchell thanks to an old text she found in an abandoned house. She's basically Nero Claudius seeing herself as the perfect bride.

Her personality is an exact replica of the original Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus.Like, nothing change... Maybe with the exception of a bigger obedience to the one she see as her husband/wife, in that case, Maleena.

She has no other role in the Sanctuary but being Maleena's Servant and member of her Nero Claudius Harem.A certain French politician is extremely pissed about it.

Nero Claudius (Caster)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nero_caster.jpg
Nero Caster is a Servant summoned by Maleena Mitchell when she discovered a strange text written in an abandonned house. While she do not want to admit it, Maleena kinda want to build a Nero Harem just to piss Ares Magnus off.

In term of personality, Nero Caster have the exact same bubbly personality than the regular Nero Claudius Caesar Augustur Germanicus. Maybe with a bit more exuberance than usual and a liking in breaking into song whenever she likes it.

Due to be a Caster, she can use magic to do numerous things.

Nero Claudius (Moon Crux)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nero_moon_crux.jpg
The Moon Crux Nero was an alternate costume for Nero Claudis in Fate/Extra CCC, which changed completely how Nero played. She was summoned by Maleena Mitchell as a Ruler-class Servant.Yes, once again, Maleena's nature as the Goddess of Chaos bent the rules of the Throne of Heroes, allowing Moon Crux Nero to manifest as a Servant.

EDIT: In fact, it was not the case. It appears that each costumes of Nero can be summoned as their own Servant. Because Imperial Privilege, according to the original Nero Claudius.

She have no role in the Sanctuary but being a Servant of Maleena and her family.Moon Crux Nero is also a member of Maleena's Harem of Neros.

... Once again, screams from a certain French politician can be heard.

Nero Claudius (Battle Olympia)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nero_battle_olympia.png
This version of Nero Claudius is a Saber-Class Servant summoned by Maleena Mitchell. While this costume is technically not a Servant of her own but a Craft Essence, it appears that due to her nature as a Goddess of Chaos, she binded the rules of the Throne of Heroes, allowing this Nero to manifest as a Servant of her own.

EDIT: In fact, it was not the case. It appears that each costumes of Nero can be summoned as their own Servant. Because Imperial Privilege, according to the original Nero Claudius.

She have no roles in the Sanctuary.Battle Olympia Nero only purpose is to serve Maleena and her family, as well as be a member of Maleena's Harem of Neros.

... And we could hear the screams of jealousy of a certain French politician.

Draco (Beast)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/draco_beast.jpg
Beast VI/S - Sodom's Beast/Queen Draco
The larvae form of the Whore of Babylon/Beast VI/S. She is known as Sodom's Beast, Queen Draco, Nero Draco or, simply, Draco.

She is the Beast of the Apocalypse, taking on the form of a younger Nero because the Beast was actually based on Nero Claudius, who was regarded as the incarnation of the Devil and Anti-Christ by the Christians of the time.

This version is actually an Alter Ego of Beast VI/S, who's true essence reside currently inside Nero Claudius. Draco was found weak and injured after an encounter with some kind of humanoid dinosaur based on the Indominus Rex, sent by a shady organization called The Collection.

Little does everyone knows but... this little girl (who is actually an adult, despise being called a larvae) will be the cause of many adventures. And a certain Daughter of Fenrir seems to be in love with her !

  • Adaptation Deviation: Not a work, but a character in this case. Although Draco is based on her canonical Fate/Grand Order counterpart, The-Sanctuaire taking into account the actual real life, merging Fate lore with the real Historic and religious lore of the real reality.
  • Adaptational Wimp: She seems MUCH weaker than her canonical version, even comparing the latter in her larval form.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Likewise, she's much nicer than her canonical version, even comparing the latter to her best.
  • Damsel in Distress: She has been captured by The Collection, and had to be rescued. Then she was kidnapped by Camaro.

Draco (Alter Ego)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/draco_alter_ego.jpg
The Alter Ego-Class version of Sodom's Beast/Queen Draco. She birthed after the defeat of the Whore of Babylon. In fact, the Whore splitted herself in two. One is her main body, still remaining a Beast-Class entity and into the Alter Ego-Class entity we're currently talking about.

Following the split, Alter Ego Draco had a change of heart. She wanted not only to see the Humanity that bested her rise into a new Golden Age (or else she would feel very bad) but also helping it achieve it. For that enterprise, she traveled around the world, trying to find the best and most glorious way. She soon learned about a substance called Philosopher's Stone. She then amassed lot and lot of knowledge about it and she quickly rose in the rank of a secret society that is supposed to hold all the secrets about the substance: the House of Gold. Soon, she even became its Grand Maitre. She was quite disappointed to learn that the society lost some of its secrets during the troubling times that followed the rise of the Whore of Babylon, her defeat and the rise of Christianity. What the House of Gold knew is what is the SULFUR and that the SALT is the Philosopher's Stone. The true nature of the MERCURY still escaped them. The most probable hypothesis is that it is a special Aqua Regia. The House of Gold also knows the link between the Philosopher's Stone and an ancient metal from a lost continent, shining like the Sun, much more than gold do. They also know that the Philosopher's Stone is linked to a gemstone who fell on Earth they call Celestial Sappir.

Alter Ego Draco is also aware of the existence of the Testament World where the Demon Beast Incardines, the embodiment of the Seven Deadly Sins, are hidden. She is also aware of a shadowy force trying to find them and fuse with them. This means that the time had come for the two pieces of Beast VI/S shall reunit and take control of the Demon Beast Incardines before the evil force.

Even though she's the juvenile form of Beast Ⅵ, which scatters depravity, she hates corruption, loathes slothfulness, despises futility (she detests pointless resistance, so she ultimately hates battle), and is an enemy to passion. (It's less that she hates these things, and more akin to being their enemy. Just like her other, she beacon "a person who can shake off temptation, and become a small yet sure beacon of enlightened brilliance"

Demon Beast Emperor Draco

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfzf4fp_b75ae8ce_7f0d_468f_b65b_4c3d2cd8f64b_9.jpg
Demon Beast Emperor
The fully grown Draco/Sodom's Beast. After a long quest around the Mediterranean Sea, Draco reunited with her Alter Ego and merged in the Testament World, invaded by Gilles de Rais, who seize control of Beastia Coccinea, the embodiment of the Seven Deadly Sins and Mount of the Whore of Babylon. After she killed Gilles and fused with her mount, Draco fully asserted herself back on the throne of Beast VI/S. As such, her migraines disappeared and she got free'd of Agrippina's dark influence.

Draco is also the Grand Master of the Royal House of Gold, who became an ally of the Sanctuary. Draco made sure to unveil the orders' secrets to the Sanctuary, as she judged the time is right. No more secrets. The Sanctuary is now fully aware of the House's goals. She revealed the true nature of Orichalcum and the Emerald and what's the Stone. The search of the Stone is now a personal matter to Draco, as her name is written on it.

Her bad mood and attitude has taken a back seat, with her more approving and passionate side starting to show instead. The extravagant and theatrical nature of Nero are made much more apparent now. Draco is free to finally be herself, while the sass of her child form still remains, which she loves to use on her dear wife, Storm. Nevertheless, as she is closer to her original nature, if Storm do not spoil her adequately, her mood will turn sour, and once she has starts sulking, her cagey personality makes her a real pain in the ass to deal with. But Storm knows how to handle her so it's not so much of a problem and she learn to be much more mature due to her role as the Grand Master of the Royal House of Gold.

Arrogant, yet selfless. Cruel, yet loving. Sensitive, yet prone to loneliness. She is the Beast who feasts upon the world of mankind, yet also wishes to journey alongside them. Both the evil of humanity, and the love of humanity.

Gilgamesh, his Servants and his successor

Gilgamesh

Wise King of Uruk/King of Heroes
Complete Armor
Serious Appearance
First casual clothes
Second casual clothes
Child Form
Symbiote Child Form
Full Power Child Form
Before the Modern Era, this demigod king governed the Sumerian city-state of Uruk. The king described in mankind's oldest epic poem, "The Epic of Gilgamesh", he is considered to have existed not only in legends, but also in reality.

Despite possessing the greatest Divine Spirit aptitude, its rank was reduced as a penalty for disliking the gods.2/3 god, 1/3 human - possessing such high divinity, there is nothing that can match him in this world, making him a complete transcendental that obtained everything in this world.

The supreme wise king who returned from the journey of immortality. In legends, he has been described as “the one who saw everything”.At times ruthless, at times approving of human nature; the great king of Uruk that strictly lead the masses.

Summoned as he is now (by Alaya), he is Double Class Archer and Caster. So he has the power he had in his golden age coupled with the wisdom he had at the end of his life.He is both a hero that personifies raging power, and a wise king that governs the masses.

Gilgamesh is a collector of treasures. His favorite phrase is "I've collected all the treasures in the world", but that's not a metaphor. He has collected, stored and sealed away every prototype of technology that were developed during his age.His argument is "Humans are foolish, but there is value in the tools, the civilization that humans create."

The ideal boss who works himself to the bone to show his appreciation for his subordinates. He's so good at everything that he just ends up doing it all himself. Consequently, he's always teetering on the edge of dying of overwork.

  • All Your Powers Combined : More all THE powers, thanks to its Gate of Babylon, which contains all that is created or known by humanity in the past, present and future.
  • Beyond the Impossible : Normally, a Servant's power is limited by its Servant container, and it's impossible for a Servant to get any stronger. In the case of Gilgamesh, as a Servant, he is normally nowhere near as powerful as he was during his lifetime. But here, he wields the same power as during his life and against BB, even if it was more an action of Alaya who summoned him like that than of Gilgamesh himself.
  • Blood Knight: A subtle one, but he clearly enjoyed facing Strom in her Ragnarok form and Maleena in her Jormungandr form.
  • Born Winner : He was born transcending both humans and gods, with multiple gifts from the gods, charisma of the highest order, and a natural ability to harvest all of humanity's wealth and treasures.
  • Gold-Colored Superiority: Gilgamesh, as usual, nothing to add.
  • Hyperspace Arsenal: Gate of Babylon, the warehouse that contains all that humanity has created or knows of in the past, present and future, in constant increase. The name of the key, which can only be manipulated by Gilgamesh, is Bab-ilu: Key of the King's Law.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: He uses Kazikli Bey's original, Vlad III's Noble Phantasm to impale Beelzebub (in her true form) from within multiple times at the same time. She's powerful enough to ignore that, but a lesser enemy would have ended up ripped to pieces.
  • Older and Wiser: He has the personality of his him Caster, so as said in his description, the wisdom of the end of his life.
  • Only the Chosen May Wield: Merodach is the first sword of selection. Ea also qualifies since only Gilgamesh can wield it.
  • Red Baron : King of Heroes, of course, but also Humanity's Oldest King, King of Heroes of Decadence, Golden King, Linchpin of Heaven, King of Uruk, King of Babylonia, Sovereign of Magic Wands and Sage King.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: His eyes are red, due to his divine heritage, and he is the most powerful Heroic Spirit in existence.
  • Workaholic: He is constantly overworking himself at the work, much to Enkidu's annoyance.

Enkidu

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/enkidugo_1.png
Chain of Heavens

One of the three Servants summoned by Gilgamesh.

From their gentle tone and graceful bearings, one would never guess that this is a “Noble Phantasm with a will” that possesses a fierce combat power. The chains that fasten heavens and earth, regarded by the King of Heroes Gilgamesh as one of the strongests.A doll created by the hands of the gods, and also an offshoot of the earth that harmonizes・becomes one with nature.

A tragic weapon that underwent many adventures as the sole friend of the King of Heroes and, after acquiring a human heart, returned to dirt as a doll.

One of the oldest heroes described in the Epic of Gilgamesh. A weapon manufactured by the gods.Originally, they were “a clay work that could transform into anything” produced by the gods. They phantasmagorically change their shape in accordance with circumstances.Their whole body is equivalent to a weapon of gods. However, they do not have the same mentality or emotions as people, and at first they were not all that different from a wild beast. It has been said that, after appearing on this world, they became aware of much by meeting with a single sacred prostitute and eventually choose to take the shape of a person (as their basic form). This appearance is something modeled after said sacred prostitute out of respect.

Their combat strength is roughly the same as that of the King of Heroes Gilgamesh during his golden age.In the battle against Gilgamesh described on the Epic, they displayed a performance on par to him, who is recognized as one of the strongest heroes in human history.

The first friend ever discovered by Gilgamesh, who was an aloof existence, and they too perceive Gilgamesh as their peerless friend. After the fight on the city of Uruk, the friends Gilgamesh and Enkidu underwent many adventures, but they ultimately lost their life after the battle with the divine beast Gugalanna.

Introverted, active and self-assured.Usually they just loiter like a beautiful flower but, once they get on the move, they become a frightening active monster that doesn’t wait, has no mercy and shows no self-restraint.

Since they are life forms born from the Earth, they also finds humans “appealing”. But, because humans think of themselves as beings apart from nature due to their intelligence, they rank low as protection targets. They feel that animals and plants are existences closer to itself and they mostly takes action in order to protect them.

That being said, since they had great curiosity (intellectual craving) to begin with, Enkidu regards conversations with humans as an enjoyment. If said character has an appealing personality (a totalitarian brimming with philantropous mentality, and yet who thinks of himself as foremost), they will demonstrate respect and admiration from the bottom of their heart, feeling joy in supporting him as a friend.

  • Ambiguous Gender: In their case, they literally have no gender (although their body is molded from that of a woman, the Sacred Prostitute of Uruk Shamhat).
  • Badass Boast : In response to the one of Cad Bane.
"Cad Bane: I've killed Clone Troopers and beaten Jedi in combat. You stand no chance.
Enkidu: I fought a fight for three days and three nights until a tie against the King of Heroes, and can bind the gods themselves. You have no chance."
  • Beyond the Impossible : Same as for Gilgamesh, Enkidu is summoned with the same power as when alive.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The "Androgyne" of the Servants of Gilgamesh, with Rasuptin (Kotomine Kirei) for the "Masculine" and Kaguya-hime (Kishinami Hakuno) for the "Feminine".
  • No-Sell: They were caught in the center of an explosion caused by Cad Bane, they were unharmed.

Grigori Rasputin (Kotomine Kirei)

One of the three Servants summoned by Gilgamesh.

Pseudo-Servants take either the host or the Heroic Spirit as the main component, and in Rasputin's case, the main component is Father Kotomine. This is presumably a result of Rasputin voluntarily refraining from exposing the wills and opinions that come from being reincarnated as present-day Servant, either due to him being a man of similar character to Father Kotomine or due to their mutual respect for each other's way of life.

Heroic Spirit Rasputin's is receded, leaving only Father Kotomine entrusted with Rasputin's powers. He is a special Servants made from multiple Heroic Spirits mixed into a single vessel. Aside from Rasputin, Father Kotomine was also imbued with the essences of

- The three-headed wicked dragon Azi Dahaka, a confidant of one of the two pillars of Zoroastrian dualism: the evil god Angra Mainyu.

- Bahloo from Australian folklore, the immortal moon sprite who commands three dogs (snakes) and always comes back from the dead. His True Name is Kotomine Kirei. Due to being an Alterego, his Saint Graph is registered under the flesh vessel's name. His blended Heroic or Divine Spirits are Gregori Rasputin (also spelled Grigori), Azi Dahaka, and Bahloo.

Extroverted and active. An affable man full of wit, despite his considerably pessimistic thoughts and words. He has an intimidating presence, only exacerbated by his height, but he makes a point to speak fair and impartially to all. He prefers dialogue to violent solutions.

He is thoughtful (diligent), quick-witted (well-mannered), and knows a lot about morals (values social order).

He believes his role to be listening to people's doubts and solving them. His words and actions can be sometimes cold, but he always faces their problems in earnest, never belittling them.

However, despite his saintly disposition and the life he lived because of it, his heart was never satisfied. He understood the meaning of peace and the value of happiness. He understood how to respect his neighbor and how to earn their respect. But he never felt alive. No matter how hard he trained or how much he studied theology, he never felt fulfilled.

Good deeds couldn't fulfill him. People's agony. Dying regrets. Disputes. It was only when confronting those—it was only when pushing through people's malignant mud that his heart rejoiced. This is not a property developed in his growth process, it is a stigma gained from birth. He feeds on people's agony. The more downcast the world is, the more he is fulfilled. This means that since birth, he was what good people would consider evil.In his teens, he figured out his nature and anguished over it. In his 20s, he rejected this fact and put himself through many trials and penances to overcome it. Through this single guiding principle, he determined the purpose of his life.

On the outside, he's an amicable priest and a fervent religionist. On the inside, he's a cold thinker in a rigorous search for the truth.Through many wounds, many setbacks, and many conclusions, the man arrived at his current state.

"What is the meaning of being born destined for evil ?""The birth of every life must be blessed."

All to learn one answer. On the verge of its death, would a being born to do true evil scream that their deeds were good, or would they lament that their deeds or evil ?

  • Affably Evil: As usual, he is always polite (although he can be mocking) to everyone. As usual, his evil nature does not change (as discussed below).
  • All Monks Know Kung-Fu: He is a priest, and fights using the Super Bajiquan (an ultimate technique born from the miraculous fusion of Bajiquan and Magecraft).
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The "Masculine" of the Servants of Gilgamesh, with Kaguya-hime (Kishinami Hakuno) for the "Feminine" and Enkidu for the "Androgyne".
  • Obviously Evil : He is clearly seen as such by his description from The-Sanctuaire :
    • "There was a lot of questions regarding this choice (his presence in the Sanctuary) within the Sanctuary.
    • Needless to say Kotomine was put under high surveillance."
  • Sinister Minister: Discussed, with Izmia, conclusion is that he is Lawful Evil:
"Izmia: Isn't Kirei supposed to be evil ? Then again, Carnage is a member of our Security Service.
Kotomine: Evil, huh ? What do you know of evil ? Is a man evil only because he does actions that morality dictates as evil, such as killing someone ? In that case, what about this man if he did it in self-defense ? Is he still evil ? Of course not, because his act was not done with immoral attentions. Morality is something that varies from individual to individual, and it is obvious that a person without morality will be considered wicked. But can someone with morals be evil ? If a man possesses both morality and the ability to profit from the pain of others, should he be considered evil ? Should a being born with the sole function of doing evil be considered evil ? And will he mourn his evilness, or proclaim that he has done what he had to do ? Is it wrong to live according to your nature ?
    Izmia: Two words. Lawful Evil."
  • Real Men Cook: In addition to his role in the Sanctuary and his work in his church, he also owns a ramen shop in which, of course, his specialty is Mapo Tofu.

Nayotake no Kaguya-hime (Kishinami Hakuno)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hakuno_fate_extella_6001083.jpg
Empress of the Moon
The Sanctuaire's illustration

One of the three Servants summoned by Gilgamesh.

Kaguya-hime, from the tale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", retreated here to let Hakuno have full control of the body and powers.

Formerly, Hakuno was the Master of the Moon Cell, which contracted among many others with Nero Claudius, Tamamo-no-Mae, Nameless and Gilgamesh.

Originally, Hakuno was an NPC generated by the Moon Cell. Based on a cryogenically frozen human, Hakuno had no memory or sense of self. Her human counterpart was a resident of Japan in the year 2000 who suffered from Amnesia Syndrome, frozen to await treatment due to the death of Twice H. Pieceman. They were still in stasis as of Hakuno's participation in the Moon Holy Grail War of the 2030s.

After being created in SE.RA.PH as an NPC, Hakuno, like Twice, somehow gained self-awareness. Unlike Twice, she did not regain any memory of a "previous life" due to the fact that the original was an amnesiac to begin with. Believing him/herself to be a normal human, Hakuno unknowingly took over the position of another participant who had died in the preliminary selection for the war.

During her time as Master of the Moon Cell, she and her Servants defeated beings such as Buddha, BB, Kiara Sessyoin, or even Velber 02/Sefar.

  • Lunacy: Due to her class (Moon Cancer), the Divine Spirit that lends her her powers (Kaguya-hime), and her origin (the Moon Cell), some of her abilities, Skills and Noble Phantasms are tied to the moon.
  • Lunarians: According to the tale, Kaguya-hime was one.
  • Male Sun, Female Moon: She is female and has a very strong connection to the moon, with as mentioned above her class being Moon Cancer, the Divine Spirit from which she derives her powers being Kaguya-hime and her origin being the Moon Cell. She also has titles of "Princess of the Moon" (for Kaguya-hime) and "Empress of the Moon" (for Hakuno), which can be contrasted with Gilgamesh's title of "King of the Country of Scorching Sands" for this Trope.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The "Feminine" of the Servants of Gilgamesh, with Rasputin (Kotomine Kirei) for the "Masculine" and Enkidu for the "Androgyne".

Tiné Chelc

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/teena_cherke_redesign_1.png
Successor of the Great Oldest King Hero

  • Child Mage : She's still just a child, but uses Magecraft for combat (or other things like preventing herself from sleeping as needed).
  • Continuity Nod : In Fate/strange Fake, she fights for her clan to regain their lands. Here it is mentioned that Gilgamesh made it happen. He also connected her to Leylines of the whole world so she could leave Snowfield without dying.
  • The Archmage : She's already talented to start with, but between Gilgamesh multiplying her potential by connecting her to Leylines of the whole world (which he says brings her potential closer to Enkidu's, at least) and her apprenticeship under Autumn, she's definitely that.
    • "*[Autumn] lecture Tiné on all other forms of magic, including Soul magic, Arithmancy (the magic of equations), defensive spells like wards and shields, as well as many more reality bending spells in [her] repertoire, doing so with enthusiasm and kindness.*"
  • The Stoic : She sacrificed her emotions for the good of her clan. Even now that her clan has reclaimed their lands, she is still not very expressive. Gilgamesh explained as much.
    • "Gilgamesh: She is the leader of the native clan of Snowfield, I arranged things for her tribe to get their land back. As for her lack of emotions *sigh* I've already told her that a child should be like a child, eyes shining on whatever they land on. She finally found her own path, and that's a good thing, but it seems a lifetime of suppressing her emotions for the sake of her clan in blind faith has made her emotions somewhat dull."
  • Unexpected Successor : The fact that she would make an appearance in the Sanctuaryverse was not expected in the first place. The fact that it was because Gilgamesh chose her as his successor let alone.

Dragon Princess

Merovee is a good friend of Izmia.

Izmia and Merovee first met when Izmia was still a human male and was having her daily walk in the forest. She was hunted down by poachers and Izmia protected her.She felt some attraction to her but she soon forgot those feeling when she turned into the Cat/Dragon we know and married Stone.

Merovee is from two royal bloodline. The royal bloodline of the Dragons, who ruled over Atlantis, and the royal bloodline of Israel. During her travels, she found the Staff of Moses but... it didn't performed the miracles described in the Bible at its fullest... as if something was missing. The Staff itself is made of a strange luminous and transparent substance.

Draco's arrival prompted her to reveal herself and began her journey to the Sanctuary

    Characters from Arthurian myths

Artoria Pendragon (Lancer)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfqdsrj_2f90cff7_5923_4dbc_b41a_4d65b6bb0014.png
Casino Ruler
Normal clothes
The fully matured Artoria Pendragon that choosed to wield the Holy Spear Rhongomyniad instead of the Holy Sword Excalibur.

She is the Overseer of the Casino. Follow her rules and everything will go fine !

With her innate competitive instincts, keen observation skills, and mental fortitude, she holds dominion as the Sanctuary's ultimate dealer. No form of cheating will get past her, and even the luckiest are brought to their knees.

Swimsuit Lion King, Ruler Artoria intends to fully enjoy her role as the Casino Ruler. This is very rare, as she is the sort of person who's always on the battlefield, fighting endlessly without rest. But then something happened...A mysterious big brother's prank caused her to transform into Swimsuit Lion King who enjoys her summer vacation wholeheartedly.Yes, it was Merlin.Obviously.And Morgan beat him up for that.

But her skills and beauty is why elected her to this position and a seat at the Council.

Do not cheat, do not disrespect her waitresses, performers and other employees and everything will be fine.If you don't, Morgan will ensure that you'll remember your lesson !

More or less painfully depending of the crime. And if Merlin's antics were involved.Obviously.

This Artoria is the same that rules the Casino Pendragon but here, she dons her regal look. This how Artoria Pendragon Ruler appears as the King of United Kingdom.

To be less confused, Artoria Ruler and Artoria Lancer are the same characters. Artoria Lancer dressed as her Ruler-Class self when ruling the Casino but, most of the time, she is dressed as any of her Lancer costumes, most notably her armor when going into action, the current costume shown in the picture when sitting on the Throne of Brittain and she also have a formal costume.

But she isn't the Lion King of the Lostbelt. This version is a literal Goddess. But, who knows... maybe our Artoria Lancer will ascended into this form yet, will not be completely dead inside like the Lostbelt variant ?

Artoria Pendragon (Lancer) (Alter)

King of the Storms
The Alter version of Artoria Pendragon Lancer.

She wields the Holy Spear Rhongomyniad (a corrupted version of it).Unlike her apparence suggest, Lalter, as she prefer to be refereed as, is a very nice person. She cared for everyone in the Sanctuary and she's especially faithful to her wives, Majin Android 21 and Jalter.

She works as a waitress and performer in the Casino Pendragon.Lalter is highly respected there and she does not hesitate to protect her co-workers when they got harassed and attacked by guests, often using her powers to punish the wrong-doers.

Lalter is a force to be reckoned with. While she's always calm and composed, never pissed of the Dragon.Never. EVER.

Artoria Pendragon (Saber)

King Arthur
The Saber form of the King of Knights. Wielder of Excalibur.

The proud and noble ruler of England. Better known as Arthur Pendragon and King Arthur, who is regarded as a male in history, she is the "Once and Future King" and a legendary hero of Britain known as the King of Knights. She wielded the sword from the stone, Caliburn, but it was eventually destroyed. She later obtained Excalibur and Avalon from the Lady of the Lake.

While Arthur is a hero well known as a model for knights, it is said that he actually existed as "Dux Bellorum", the leader of War, and was a great general who led the twelve kings of Northern England, Gododdin, while preventing foreign invasion from forces such as the Scottish and the Picts. This identity of the real great leader behind the legend of King Arthur has many variations, and it is thought that there may have been two people who fit the description of the king. One is the full Briton Arthur, while the other is the Roman Artorius, and their two separate sets of accomplishments are said to have merged into the legend of King Arthur that is known in the present time.(source: Type-Moon wiki)

Artoria now serve as the head maid in Tohru's Café.She often do discipline for both the customers and the employees. And everyone obeys her.

Her presence is why Gilgamesh more often hang out in the Café than the Casino.

Also, nobody knows why there's two Artorias.Saber's arrival is quite mysterious...

The Alter version of Artoria Pendragon.

Salter was first an agent of The Collection (before they became known to the Sanctuary), sent by Dooku to infiltrate the place and collect information, disguised as "Mysterious Heroine X Alter". Of course, she got caught.Knowing that she won't be able to come back to The Collection after her failure, she decided to join The Sanctuary and got adopted by Maleena, Nero and Anabelle.

She served her punishment and got hired in the Security Service.Wielding her Excalibur Morgan in combat, she is a fearsome sword-fighter.

Morgan Le Fay

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/morgan_37.jpg
Fairy Witch of the Lake
Morgan was the sister of King Arthur and mother of Gawain, Agravain, Gaheris, Gareth and Mordred. In the ancient history of British Fairies, she was said to be the "Good Fairy of the Lake," but after compilation of Arthurian legends, she became regarded as a wicked woman who opposed King Arthur. On the other hand, she is identified with Vivian, the fairy who endowed King Arthur with the holy sword and protected him after his death. She was a fairy of the lake and the evil polar opposite of Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, a "Great Mother" class fairy born from the inner sea of the planet. It is thought that Morgan inherited Vivian's authority, but in truth Vivian is an alternate good personality of Morgan's who Morgan developed as a way to cope with the conflicting roles given to her by her supernatural birth.

Morgan was the daughter of Tintagel birthed by Igraine, the Child of Fairies from the British Isles... Later, she and Artoria became proper sisters (Morgan's mother, Igraine, married King Uther). At least, that is what the legend says. However the truth is that Morgan was not born until after Igraine and Uther were married, and she is the true blood daughter of Uther as well. What's more, she was not a human but the spawn of the island of Britain itself, just as Vortigern was. Morgan kept this a secret and was raised as a human, and she would have inherited the throne from Uther—until Artoria was born.

In the end, Artoria is but a "human king" created by the humans. Morgan, aware that she was the "True King" inheriting the mysteries of the British Isles, eventually came to hate her father King Uther, her sister Artoria, and humans who disobeyed her, and played a major role in the collapse of Britain.

The king chosen to be the King of Britain was bestowed with a mysterious power, a black primeval cursed energy native to Britain, but its power had waned. Uther was said to be the last of its keepers, which is why he came up with his plan to sire Artoria, a manmade child of a human and a dragon. To everybody's surprise however Morgan inherited the primeval black power, and so she was considered the "owner" of Britain and a greater “King of the Island” than King Arthur. She had heard the will of the island and believed the throne of Britain was hers by right. Morgan was recognized as the proper daughter of King Uther, but despite inheriting the power was not chosen to succeed him as king. Although the older sister and of the same status, Artoria received the love and hopes of their father in Morgan's eyes, driving her to eventually become a witch queen who craved for vengeance for the rest of her days.(source: Type-Moon Wiki)

Morgan used her magic to trick Artoria, concluding in the birth of Mordred. The Knight of Rebellion was nothing but a pawn in Morgan's schemes which ended with Artoria's death.

Feeling regrets, Morgan exiled herself. She later returned, feeling a grave threat and joined the Sanctuary after she saw Artoria, Mordred and Merlin before her.She apologies for all she did.

She became one of the leader of the Casino, retaining her ruthlessness against cheaters and sore losers, punishing them as she see fit.

Knight of Treachery
Mordred Pendragon is the daughter of Artoria Pendragon and Morgan le Fay.

Mordred was pivotal to Morgan's scheme, making the girl believe she was destined to rule England.

While she tried her best to appeal to Artoria and become the greatest of Knights of the Round Table, Artoria never acknowledge her. This ended up in a terrible battle were both killed each other.

Resurrected by Merlin in Avalon, alongside Artoria and the Round Table, she apologies for her actions and joined the Sanctuary. There, she will be the loyal enforcer of Artoria's rule over the Casino.

She's a good friend and loyal knight to the Sanctuary, ready to put her life to the lign.

An alternative form of Mordred Pendragon.

She was accidentaly summoned by Bowsette. Mo-Alter instantly fell in love with her and joined Ivan's harem, making her the sole Fate girl to be part of it.

Mordred Alter is quite secretive. Not much of a talker and more an action-centered swordswoman. She swore allegiance to Ivan and she will protect the harem she consider as family with her life.

Merlin

Magus of Flowers
The Magus of Flowers. The vagrant of the paradise. A prophet and advisor who made his entry into Arthurian Legends as the court magus, he would at times guide, at times torment, and at times help King Arthur as a king so that she could overcome many enemies and hardships. Still, though he is a wise man, he is fundamentally inhuman, because he was born of mixed blood from the union of an incubus and a human. With illusions as his forte, he can transform into various shapes——there was a case where he had changed into the shape of a beast whose insides are not human——and his true form is not certain(source: Type-Moon Wiki)

He joined the Sanctuary after feeling the rise of a grave threat. He was especially concern with the safety of a certain artifact who was the source of his powers. He woke Artoria from her slumber in Avalon, as well as Mordred and the Knights of the Round Table.Morgan later joined them... knowing full well that the Mage of Flowers was hiding something.

Lady Avalon/Prototype Merlin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfsc0he_83c6b3ff_7063_4839_83d2_4b48773bef4e_3.png
Female Mage of Flowers
An alternate version of Merlin.

To be more precise, Lady Avalon (also called Prototype Merlin) is the female principe of the Mage of Flowers. In order to keep the secret of the Sword of Justice, Soul Calibur (also called the Grail Sword, the Broken Sword or Caliburn/The Sword in the Stone) away from the fallen dragon Camaro, Merlin separated his female principe from his body, giving birth to Lady Avalon, who alone knows about the location of the fragments of the Holy Sword. After all, she scattered its pieces all around the globe while keeping the sheath with her and one of the fragment is hidden in Avalon, since it was used in the creation of Excalibur.

Lady Avalon is, for an half-succubus enchantress, rather cold. Her interest in Humanity and its destiny is purely because of her duty. She attracted lots of attention because of her succubus aura, calming conflict whenever she goes and making everyone influated with her.

During her travels, she encounter the German knight Siegfried Schtauffen. The young man was broken, having freed himself from the influence of the cursed sword Soul Edge and trying to find redemption. Lady Avalon guided him during his quest, forging a new sword for him out of an uncorrupted fragment of Soul Edge the young man had with him. She labelled this sword Soul Calibur even tho it is not the real deal. After all, the spirit of Elysium didn't inhabit it, but she masquerade as her.

Thanks to this manipulation, and after Siegfried and her got married (because Lady Avalon fell in love with Siegfried), Siegfried was able to seal his dark persona, Nightmare, and Soul Edge below a castle in his homeland.

Now, Lady Avalon is searching for the Chosen of the Sword. And she found it in the Sanctuary.

A certain Storm Wolffe.

Summer Artoria Caster

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__summer_artoria_caster___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg4861q_414w_2x.jpg
Embodiment of Avalon's Magic
Artoria Caster is a version of Artoria Pendragon who was the "Child of Prophecy" chosen by the "Staff of Selection" rather than the Sword of Selection. Her appearance is during the midway point in her journey of eventually arriving at Camelot. Or it is what the basic history of this form is.

Indeed, something is to be noted, is that this version of "Castoria" isn't the Lostbelt-born version. She is a Pan-History born version of Artoria Caster, originating from Avalon. In fact, she is a living manifestation of Avalon's magic, taking on the form familiar to it, Artoria Caster. How did the magic of Avalon gathered the knowledge of the existence of Artoria Caster ? It appears that Avalon is connected to the whole Omniverse and searched for an appropriate form. It learned about Avalon in one of the many possible Britains and choose to adopt this form.

"Castoria" isn't the pessimist and timid Lostbelt Artoria Caster. She is however as innocent and energetic as her. She seeks adventure with friends. Artoria has the figure of a perfectly commonplace girl who hates to lose, is strong in the face of criticism and adversity, values the surrounding atmosphere more than anything else.

However, unlike Lostbelt Artoria Caster, "Castoria" won't hide her feelings from others. She will loudly tell what she have in her mind, even if it comes as extremely offensive. After all, she is magic energies in an homonculus of their own creation, she lacks the basic social clues of the world she manifested into. But she will in due time learn.

Artoria Caster appeared in her Summer self. Her deep link with the magic of Avalon (as a manifestation of it) made her the recipient of the Stone of Destiny's secrets.

For those who don't know, the Stone of Destiny is basically the Irish version of the Omphalos, the World's navel. As such, it knows all that was, all that is and all that will be. It is what some alchemists called the "Lilac Philosophers' Stone" or "Angelical Stone" (even sometimes referred as the Chintamani/Cintamani in Hinduism and Buddhism). It is the almighty seat upon which the future King of the British Isle have to set upon in order to be conferred his kingly powers and recognition. This mythical stone is also better known as the Grail Stone, the Lapsit Exillis. It is highly coveted by many people who lust for power. The knowledge it contains, the Source of Life it is, is why it is so coveted. Artoria Caster knows it and much more. Maybe even the location of it.

Artoria Caster arrived in the Sanctuary, in hope to find more people to befriend and have adventure with. But she was called by someone. Who ? Well, it appears fate answered to the wish of Joseph, isaac19474 's and Kobayashi's son.

  • Alternate Self: She is not the canon version from Fate/Grand Order, but a completely different version - original from the Sanctuaryverse - of the Pan-Human History who embodies the magic of Avalon.

:Vivian

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vivian_76.png
Lady of Lake
Vivian, the Fairy of the Lake. She is the Lady of Lake of the Arthurian cycle. She is the one who gifted the magic sword Excalibur to Artoria Pendragon. She is also the beloved of Merlin and, in the Vulgate, made in captive inside of a tree until the rest of his days. She was also his pupil and learn all of his secrets. Yes, while often depicted as a benevolent being, Vivian in fact shows acts of cruelty.

This is due that, in fact, Vivian is just a persona of a much darker character (or, to be precise, a formerly darker character). Yes, Vivian isn't the sister of Morgan le Fay, no. Vivian IS Morgan le Fay. An aspect of her before her disillusion with the fae and humans who supported her sister Artoria instead of her, growing increasingly jealous of her, leading to her plot of taking down Camelot by the creation of Mordred Pendragon.... and we all know how this end up.

She also answer to the name of Tonelic/Aesc, for some unknown reason. That is how Castoria refers to her.

She's a sheltered princess full of knowledge but ignorant of the reality of the world outside, having an avid thirst for knowledge, and a strong liking for things she's never seen before and that surpass her imagination. She has a cheerful confidence that her actions are righteous. The young girl's favorite place was her secluded study. The gray sky visible from the window. The gentle sound of the raindrops.

Vivian is shown as great helper of Artoria and is the protector of the Knight Lancelot. She mastered the enchantements and knowledge of Nature. She is depicted more caring and loving, as much as Morgan le Fay was cruel and viscous. But the cruelty of Morgan le Fay appeared when she emprison Merlin into his eternal cage, exposing the fact that Vivian and Morgan are the same person. But it appears the two persona splitted and Vivian became the "good" within Morgan (although Morgan atone for her crimes against Britain and Camelot. She is now a trustful ally of her sister and became the wife of Merlin, something Vivian never became... yet. Knowing the Enchanter, he will try to have both aspects of Morgan as his brides).

Vivian appeared at the same time as Castoria, guiding her to the Sanctuary. She might have a role in the creation of the young girl, but that's unclear. But she do have motives to show up now.

What it is ? Nobody knows. But it is not linked with the Holy Sword. Otherwise, she would have showed up in Avalon when Camaro invaded the sacred place. It might be because, out of all the artifacts, the Stone of Destiny is the one in the greatest danger.

But she couldn't came at a worst time. The Sanctuary is currently caught up in a war in the Pokemon Universe, involving people from the Digimon universe too. This will of course prompt enemies like Umbrella, Ares Magnus, Agrippina, the mysterious Chrysalis and the new rising cult of the Genesys Sect to further their plans. And that does not include the plans of the Indian Prime Minister and the plot of Mola Ram and his Thuggees to bring Kali back to Earth, without using Parvati.

Quite the bad timing, Lady of the Lake.

Alternate Self: She is not the canon version from Fate/Grand Order, but a completely different version from the Sanctuaryverse.

Lancelot

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__lancelot___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg51pmz_414w_2x_6.jpg
Knight of the Lake
Also known as the Knight of the Lake, the person serving as a negative symbol of the Arthurian legend. The "Knight of the Lake", admired as the strongest even among the Knights of the Round Table. He was extremely loyal to King Arthur as one of the Knights of the Round Table. Lancelot's downfall began when he fell in love with Artoria's queen, Guinevere. It is said that the tragic love story of Diarmuid Ua Duibhne and Grainne later became the story model of Guinevere and Lancelot.

In his condition, he is the closest to his original form. Caring for justice, honoring women, loathing evil - this virtuous figure overflowing with romance was acknowledged as the "ideal knight" by King Arthur.

« A noble knight? Don't make me laugh. I participated in the destruction of Britain! »

(Lancelot)

Lancelot was one of the Knights of the Round Table that worked as security in the Casino Pendragon. He followed the Pendragon family he loyally served back to London, where they served as the new Royal Family of United Kingdom.

There, with the other knights, he served as protector of the Royal Family. He also have no faith and trust on the new Prime Minister, who's giving himself more and more power as time goes on. Lancelot suspect he have ulterior motive and is actively trying to get the Pendragon family out of his way. He also feels a strange curse surrounding him.

He is always on guard when he comes to Buckingham Palace.

Gawain

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__gawain___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg51tb6_414w_2x.jpg
Knight of the Sun

One of the Knights of the Round Table that appeared in the Arthurian legends, also known as the White Knight of the Round Table.

If King Arthur was the night, the symbol of the moon itself, then Sir Gawain was the day, which shoulders the sun. He acted as King Arthur's impersonator (in the kagemusha sense) in the royal castle of Camelot. In other words, he was one of the candidates to substitute the King after his fall. He is the bearer of the sister-sword to Excalibur, Excalibur Galatine. However, in his blind adoration for the King, he remained unaware of the King's agony. A loyal knight just like Sir Bedivere who took care of King Arthur in his final moments, but unlike Bedivere who wished for the King to attain happiness as a person from the bottom of his heart, Gawain wished for him to flourish as a king. Unmindful of such evaluation and intentions from those who surrounded him, Sir Gawain remained as King Arthur's right-hand to the end.

He earnestly performs all sorts of work. Even if that is, by any chance, debt collecting. Despite his serious character, he has no gloomy aspects and interacts with anyone in a sincere and polite fashion. While he may get enraged, since he never harbors negative emotions such as jealousy and malice, his attitude is refreshing no matter what kind of battlefield. According to the other Knights of the Round Table, "That lack of sarcasm is already a talent". For Gawain to have never been envied, despite being blessed with talent and pedigree, was probably due his own good character and the natural airheadness to think of it as a matter of course, without ever being boastful. A loyal knight, his faithfulness to the king was like iron. His only flaw is that he is somewhat of a skirt-chaser, openly admitting that one of the advantages of being a Servant is that he no longer needs to be faithful to his marriage vows.

Gawain wanted to serve a true king loyally without questions or doubt, like a true knight.

He believes that quantity is over quality when it comes to food. He is satisfied with large quantities of potatoes, vinegar, bread, ale and vegetables.(source: Type-Moon wiki)

Gawain serves as security in the Casino Pendragon. He later followed the Pendragon family to London to assume the kingship of United Kingdom. As always, he serves as the right-hand of Artoria and impersonate her from time to time.

He do not trust the Prime Minister, feeling an aura of eeriness around him.

Tristan

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__tristan___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg58i42_414w_2x.jpg
Child of Sadness
Tristan is one of the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian Legends. The tale of Tristan and Iseult, the woman he loved, is a legend boasting outstanding popularity in Europe.

Ever known as the "Child of Sadness", being a downer is a normal condition for Tristan. A narcissist slightly intoxicated with himself. However, since his circumstances are genuinely tragic, it's hard to call him out on it. The type that perceives things tragically and ends up thinking that every mistake is his fault. His thoughts are calm, his tactics precise; yet where it concerns women, his reason is shaken, in a good way. (For example, if his Master is female and someone had taken her hostage, even if it is presumably a trap, he would still go and walk in anyways).

A member of the Knights of the Round Table. Perhaps it was due to his days of wandering (or to put it more accurately, it was due to him being included from other legends into the Legend of King Arthur), but Tristan's loyalty to the king is not absolute, or better put, less fanatic. However, he felt deep shame from leaving his service under the king, and it was during his following service where he set his mind to be completely faithful.

Tristan is severe and without mercy against his enemies, but there is a side of him that would grieve for the enemies and shed tears for them once the battle is over. Is it not sinful of him, born without blessing, to kill those born with one?... That is what he kept on thinking.

Tristan was quite popular due to his good looks and poetic behavior. He's also a master of the bow just like in the legends, but when other bowmen assessed him, they would give evaluations such as "I would hesitate to call that a bow" or "You have fundamental misunderstandings about what a bow is."(source: Type-Moon wiki)

Tristan joined the Knights of the Round Tables when they came back and serves loyally the Pendragon royal family. And that either in the Casino Pendragon and currently in United Kingdom.

Like all the Knights and the royal family, he despise Harold Saxon. He do not want to show any mercy to him but no orders have been given to end the Prime Minister's life and... it will never be given. Tristan is waiting for Saxon to do one mistake to strike.

Bedivere

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__bedivere___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg590kf_414w_2x.jpg
Silver Arm
The first member of the Knights of the Round Table, who served as the steward of the royal court, the king's care-taker. Despite not being as popular as knights like Lancelot, Percival, and Galahad, who embarked on the quest for the Holy Grail, he was one of the most senior knights along with Kay and Gawain, displaying a history even older than Arthur, whose name was thought to be derived from the ancient War God of the Celts, Bedwyr. He eventually came to serve the young king out of admiration of her, entrusting his sword to her and working to become her personal guard. Seeing her indifference as her trying to be fair without allowing her personal feelings to interfere, he most wished to see her true face and expressions by being near her. Although he thought her true self would become apparent outside of her court duties, his eventual promotion to the rank of Imperial Guard proved him wrong. Although he guarded her more closely than the other knights and constantly watched her behavior, he was unable to see her smile even once.

Bedivere is exceptionally loyal to his king, putting her well-being above his own and even her own orders on her deathbed. He does not see serving as a knight solely serving the King herself, but the people of Camelot, whom they had shared mutual desire of care and love for. As someone who had been chosen for his compassion and empathy to become a Knight of the Round Table, Bedivere can be seen as someone who is the most "human" amongst his comrades, having been able to share the joy and grief of the common people that the other knights may have deemed as trivial.

Unlike those knight who had begun to drift away from her and those who saw her as inhuman due to her lack of emotion, he feels pride in her and remains loyal throughout Mordred's rebellion. He later begins to even feel some anger towards the situation, believing that she who has accomplished such great deeds should be granted the ability to show a peaceful face.(Source: Type-Moon wiki)

Bedivere joined the revived Knights of the Round Table and served the Pendragon family both in the Casino and now in the United Kingdom. Bedivere still remain the personal guard of Artoria. But he is also tasked to protect the young Arthur II with his life.

Mission that will be proved to be crucial for the fate of the Planet.

Percival

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__percival___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg5864v_414w_2x.jpg
Holy Knight of the Dove
Percival, the Holy Knight of the Dove was a member of the Knights of the Round Table, led by King Arthur, holding the 2nd Seat. He grew up in the forest and embarked on a quest for the Holy Grail alongside Sir Galahad and Sir Bors.

A knight belonging to King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table in Britain. He holds the second seat at the Round Table. Perceval de Galles.

An honourable knight, occasionally referred to as an unadulterated fool. A spearmaster, a knight who has witnessed the miracle of the Holy Grail, a compassionate knight who has saved the lives of many. He is also a knight who safeguards Longinus, a holy lance different from the one possessed by the King of Knights.

The Holy Grail was destined to be summoned to Heaven together with Galahad, whereas the Holy Spear Longinus was destined to remain on Earth. In this story rendition, Sir Percival is said to be the one who brought back the Holy Spear. Percival the Knight also makes an appearance in Wagner'sWP last opera, Parsifal WP. In this opera, he is depicted as the person who recovers and inherits the Holy Spear.

Percival's enemy in the search for the Holy Spear was Klingsor. Kundry, who served Klingsor, was Percival's true love. She was Percival's first kiss, and though her kisses had the power to enthrall men Percival never lost sight of himself, which allowed him to confront Klingsor. During their battle Klingsor used Longinus on Percival, only for Percival to take the spear's magical energy from the attack and throw it back at him. Percival then returned the energy to the spear, recompleting it. When he obtained the spear, flowers left by Kundry bloomed around the throne of Klingsor's fortress.

Kundry is cursed to reincarnate eternally and serve men of strength in every life, only to be used as a tool and cast aside, until she is at last united with him and granted the salvation of death.

According to legend, while Galahad, Percival, and Bors were on their quest for the Holy Grail they were led by Percival's sister to the ship of King Solomon. They sailed the ship to an island where Galahad obtained the Sword of the Strange Hangings. The sword doesn't look like much, but you won't find many relics more sacred. It is holy enough to stand against the Holy Spear Longinus for a few blows.

He is someone who looked up to King Arthur more than anyone else.[8] He was the man that every knight in the Round Table trusted the most. Gawain could relax his guard around him, and ask for advice. Gawain feels that when Percival was still alive was probably the Round Table's golden age.

He dislikes men cheating on their spouses. He was small and timid as a child.Besides Galahad, Percival may be the only other Knight of the Round Table worthy to obtain the Holy Grail.

He will heap on a mountain of food on your plate for every meal.

A sincere guardian knight who values decorum. On other occasions he has been described as pure-hearted. He acts calmly, without doubting or losing his temper at others. He is well-liked by children and animals that meet him for the first time, though said person is unaware of this fact. When he was alive, he used to stand in Camelot's garden in the morning sunlight, letting little birds rest on his shoulders and arms.

It is during battle that he shows a harsher side of himself. But only during battle.

A very caring person. He frequently fusses over his juniors, especially those younger than him. He also wants to take good care of Master. This is because he genuinely wants to protect and raise the youth who will grow up to become outstanding heroes in the future. His objects of affection in the Round Table include the young Gareth, the apprentice knight Bors, and Sir Lancelot's son Galahad.

"Sir Percival is more of a big brother to me than my actual big brothers," Gareth declared with a smile when she was still alive.

...Hearing these words after Gareth's death, Percival stood in the now-empty garden of Camelot and wept alone.(source: Type-Moon wiki)

Percival always carries a projection of the Spear of Longinus. But, like the Excalibur wielded by Saber Artoria, it is not the real artifact. Excalibur reside somewhere in Avalon or is destroyed, while the Longinus is lost, buried and hidden somewhere, waiting for its rightful owner to find and claim it. But Percival was just one of them. It is not the current rightful owner of the Spear of Destiny.

Percival rejoined the Knights of the Round Table when they were called back into action and serves Lancer/Ruler Artoria Pendragon and the royal Pendragon family both in the Casino and now back in United Kingdom.

Percival also have infos on the Holy Grail and the fabulous Lapsit Exillis, as he saw both in his own eyes. And he will be happy to give those precious informations to the royal Pendragon family.

But the shady Prime Minister, Harold Saxon, seems to be interested in those infos too. This might lead to some political issues. But what could a simple human with an eerie aura could do against Artoria Pendragon, Morgan le Fay, Vivian and two Merlins ?

Gareth

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__gareth___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dg2ktlw_414w_2x.jpg
Beaumains
Gareth was one of the thirteen Knights of the Round Table. She held the seventh seat. A young knight, historically regarded as male, whose older brothers are Gawain, Gaheris and Agravain. She is one of the children born of King Lot and the Enchantress Morgana (aka Morgan le Fay). This also makes Mordred, knight of treachery, her half-sister. Also known as Guerrehet or Beaumains (Beautiful Hands.)

Gareth was the newest addition to the round table, and a relatively inexperienced knight. She respected all her seniors, all the knights of the round table. She was especially attached to Sir Lancelot and often accompanied him. As an esquire, she underwent numerous trials, and after becoming a member of the Round Table, instead of aiding her eldest brother Gawain as Gaheris had before her, she chose a position similar to being Lancelot’s attendant. Gareth was well-loved as a person brimming with potential. She was highly praised not only by her siblings; the other knights would say, “She will be the greatest of knights someday,” and “She will one day become a true knight on par with her brothers”.

Gareth highly reveres Lancelot. She seems to normally have a sunny, friendly disposition, and as a result she does not deal well with the stress of the slaughter performed under the Lion King during the Camelot singularity of Fate Grand Order, only wishing to be punished. She had "mummy-like bags" under her eyes after helping to defeat the knights who opposed the Lion King, and although she has "lily-white fingers that are more beautiful than anyone's", they become unrecognizably blackened from constant washing after combat.

Brave and faithful like a small puppy, a young knight of tragedy. Once she has grown attached to someone, she will never betray no matter what. Even if it means the death of her. She lives as she always has lived. Honoring chivalry, believing in justice and carrying it out. She is proud of the fact she was accepted by the Knight King, and even now she considers being selected as a member of the round table as the greatest honor of her life.

She still admires Sir Lancelot. The day everything ended. The day the knight moved to save Queen Guinevere. She would adore him even if her own form hadn’t so much as entered the knight’s eyes. She would adore him even if… he had known her, yet didn’t hesitate to kill her regardless.(Source: Type-Moon wiki)

Gareth serves in the Sanctuary as a Security of the Casino Pendragon, just like the other Knights of the Round Table. She is currently in London, assuming the role of a Royal Guard of the Pendragon family, just like the other Knights of the Round Table.

Mélusine

  • Adaptational Wimp: She is much less powerful than she should be/than her canon version, losing noticeably against Storm (who did not yet have access to her divine form) using her true form where her canon version rivals Astraea and surpasses (a Divine Spirit therefore) in her basic form for exemple. For comparison, compare her performance against Storm with that of Sharout's Mélusine (which is also the canon version) in her basic form against the same foe (who was in her Ragnarok form this time). Partially justified by the fact that this version of her was created by Morgan, therefore later than her canon version, which means that she is less old and that Albion's corpse has potentially lost power.

Azazel Loremaster

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfr3059_1d0c1e2a_5fdc_475a_827a_d2f84a9d60ba.png
Fallen Angel of the Knowledge
The only one that successfully overthrown Lucifer as the CEO of Hell.Genius mad scientists who made experiments to create the ultimate demon warrior for... some unknown reasons, while turning Lucy and Justice into maids.... for some unknown reasons.

Despise Lucifer hating her, Azazel was recruited in the Sanctuary due to her brilliant mind. There, she met the only alchemist who was able to create the mythical Philosopher's Stone who gave him immense powers, Nicolas Flamel. The two fell in love. After all, Azazel was fascinated by the Philosopher's Stone. She thinks it is the key to all the Sanctuary's researches

She was given authorization to explore this path alongside Flamel who can't seems to remember the recipe of the Stone. This puts a huge target on her. Many people would love to have her leading researches on the Philosopher's Stone.

Nicolas Flamel

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dg4ctr4_ef1b70de_5a98_4b7e_958d_d93cdc63f972.png
King of Alchemy
The legendary alchemist who was said to be the only one to make the Philosophers' Stone. Oddly enough, when he was reborn in the modern world, he had no memories of how he did it and where he found the ingredients. He just remembered an old book that might have been the missing link between the Holy Grail myth and the poem of Wolfram von Eschenbach.

Now, after recreating a Philosophers' Stone, his memories have resurfaced. He remember the name of the book. It was called The Book of Abraham Jew and contained all the secrets of the Philosophers' Stone and a limpid recipe to create the heavenly stone. For exemple, he remembers that he indeed used gold (or something that looked like gold, he wasn't sure. It might as be orichalcum, as the ingot he purchased had a red gold color, instead of a pure gold color) as the sulfur and he extracted the mercury from an ore he purchased in an apothecary. He also clearly remembered the color of the stone he made: violet.

Flamel used this stone to create gold and used it to found many buildings for the poor and rebuild churches. But the violet stone had an unforseen effect on him. It gifted him with magic powers. He could create not only gold or everlasting flames for candles, but it can also reproduced near-instantly any Noble Phantasms, with some exceptions, out of the Stone's reaches. Exemples include the Ea Sword/Enuma Elish of both Gilgamesh and Enkidu and the Excalibur of all versions of Artoria (not to mention the Ars Nova of King Solomon). This is due to the Stone being basically a crystallized ley line, full of geomantic and cosmic energies. He could also performs all sorts of magic with it, like returning dead plants back to life, communicate with animals, birds and angels in order to receive prophecy and knowledge. It also makes him healing all wounds and illnesses instantly, as making leave near indefinitively, but not real immortality, as he would need an infinite supply of the Stone, which he didn't have. Or refused to have.

This is also how he was able, just like the phoenix, to resurrect. He was needed in this time, as the Stone's secrets and full power. Of course, he comes back to the tomb he shared with his wife, Pernelle, who helped him make the Stone.

But the book goes in much more detail about the Stone's power. The only thing he do not remember is where he hid it, in fear for it to fall under the wrong hands.Due to becoming a powerful magus the moment he consumed the stone, he might have summoned a Servant to protect it, as he have an inactive Command Seal on his right wrist.

But that's a concern for another time, as the Sanctuary is currently battling a war in the Pokemon World. He fears for Sada, Nemona, Penny, Arven and Luna's safety, as they were headed to Paldea before the full-scale invasion of Neo Team Plasma, powered by the Machinedramon of Analogman.

Jun is the genius inventor of the Duality Mirror and the number 1 assistant of Senior. Her intelligence and craftiness gave her a seat at the Administrative Council of the Sanctuary.

She is constantly developing new devices for the Labs and Security Services. She is very appreciated and highly regarded within the Sanctuary.

When she's not doing any of that, she works in the Casino as the bandleader, taking on her curvaceous and seductive succubunny true form. She swings her lustful body following the music beat. Her shows are mesmerizing. Even more when she's joined by her girlfriend, Anya the Lesser Demon, created by the Major Demons Beelze and Lilith (which are not the actual Lord of Flies and Mother of Demons !) during one of their shows.

You can look at her, but do not touch her !

Count of Saint-Germain

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__count_of_saint_germain___fgo_oc_by_the_sanctuaire_dgk0mww_fullview.jpg
[[caption-width-right:1000:]The Count of Saint-Germain was a French adventurer who walked in-between the fine line between legend and History. He was very popular in the European (and, particularly, French) high socieity during the mid-18th Century. His popularity, who made him more of a legendary figure, came from his interest and achievements in fields such as science, alchemy, philosophy and the arts. He was often stated to be one of the only persons on Earth who successfully fabricated a Philosopher's Stone.

During his life, the Count used many aliases such as the Marquis de Montferrat, Comte Bellamarre, Chevalier Schoening, Count Weldon, Comte Soltikoff, Manuel Doria, Graf Tzarogy, and Prinz Ragoczy. While his real name is unknown, and his birth and background obscure, towards the end of his life he claimed that he was a son of Prince Francis II Rákóczi of Transylvania. The reason for such secrecy for his identity is unknown, which led to many legends.

The rumor that made him one of the only makers of the Philosopher's Stone (with Nicholas Flamel), led to the legend that the Count was in fact immortal. The famous French philosopher Voltaire called him "The Wonderman". Legend and rumors stated he was 3000 years old, that he knew Jesus Christ and other important historical figures such as the French king and best friend of Leonardo da Vinci Francis the First. Some even swore they saw him after his death. A strange fact is that, when his tomb was opened, it was revealed to be completely empty. His body vanished. He never dismissed nor confirmed those assertions while he was alive. He sometimes played along with a smile, describing in great details the Last Supper as if he was there or stating that Francis the First was a nice fellow. The mystery surrounding the Count of Saint Germain made him one of the most intriguing figures of French history.

In term of personality, the Count of Saint Germain was a showman. He loved the attention he got from the growing legend and rumors who made him someone out of the extraordinary.

The Count was also extremely secretive, as proven by the fact barely anything is known about him. Like stated before the Count of Saint Germain is a figure between historical facts and legend. There was no explanation given to why the Count wanted to bath so much in completely secrecy and mystery. Maybe it was to augment the fascination around his person, or maybe because he wanted to keep some things hidden from the eyes of the public. That will never be known and the Count seemed to be perfectly fine with this.

The Count reappeared mysteriously in the Sanctuary. He seemed intrigued by the institution's quest about the Philosopher's Stone. When asked if he made one, he revealed that he never did in his life. He knew about how to make gems that are of a greater perfection and quality (he qualified them as esoteric) than the ones found in nature. He expressed his fascination for gemstones and revealed that he knew the true nature of the Emerald of Lucifer.

He never revealed more. But when coming across the report that the Stone are in fact glasses that can be made out of metals, he mysterious stated that "it is not wrong, but it is not right either. You seemed to have forgot an important information". He never explained what this missing information was but he said that "you already have it. You just need to see and understand it". He seemed to point to the documents from Paracelsus' tomb.

The Count is often seen in the Gardens, observing the nature and taking notes.

First humans (Adam, Lilith and Eve)

Adam

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adam_throne1jpg_1.png
Father of Humanity
Adam is the progenitor of Humanity. He is the first Human to ever exist, being created in the image and likeness of the Gods. After being expelled from Paradise along with his wife Eve, the two descended to Earth and proceeded to give rise to Humanity.

He is believed to be "The Man Who Despises the Gods the Most" and "The Ultimate Survivalist".

Adam is said to define the very essence of a "man" and is described as being a "man among men".

Adam is a very calm, collected, and carefree individual; speaking to Zeus in a very casual manner, much to the chagrin of the other Gods present. He's even shown to be disrespectful of the latter like when he bit multiple apples and spit them on the floor, not caring about the Gods' concern. He was also quite confident in his capabilities, informing Zeus that he'd regret not using a weapon in their fight. Later, it is revealed that Adam holds no grudge against Heaven and the Gods, despite the fact the Serpent assaulted Eve and then framed her when he was elsewhere, resulting in Humanity's banishment from Eden (in fact, it happened quite differently. The Serpent in question was Baalberith in disguise. She gave the Apple to Eve and that was later blamed on Lucifer, prompting her to revolt alongside Lilith). Adam is also ruthless in defending those dear to him.

Adam displayed selflessness to the highest degree, pushing himself past his limits in his fight against a God to give Humanity a bit of hope.

Adam's love for his children was strong enough that, even in a battle for his life, he only thought of protecting Humanity from anyone who'd try and do them harm. In fact, Adam's desire to protect his descendants was so intense that, even after dying from the countless blows of Zeus, his body refused to fall and instead kept fighting on. Such raw endurance and strength of will were enough to put Zeus himself on his knees and even gain a bit of begrudging respect from the arrogant God. Even in death, he selflessly strove for victory, not for his sake but for that of his children, for all of mankind.

He is also shown to be somewhat merciful, like when he thought Zeus was going to forfeit.

Despite using only a fig leaf to cover himself, Adam never shows any embarrassment over his lack of clothing (even tho he is depicted wearing a sheet over his ankles to cover... an obvious anatomic part.

This version of Adam is the purest part of the First of Man. His darker, more resentful part of him (because no men is perfect, Adam included) incarnated into the Chief of the Exorcists we could call "Black Adam" or "Adam Alter", who hates Sinners and Lucifer for taking his destiny away from him. This is not the case for this Adam, who unconditionally loves all his children and descendant the same and believed in redemption for most souls. He is fully aware some can't be redeemed no matter what. Both Adam despises each other. "True Adam" always wondered why "Adam Alter" is still in Heaven and was not banished to Hell. Maybe there's still hope for him, he guessed.

Adam and Eve apologized to Lucifer and Lilith, wanting to make things right. The relationship between the four are extremely cordial, Lilith spending lot of time with Eve. The two chats about lots of things. Adam knows about the Hazbin Hotel and Queen Lilith II's efforts to make Hell a place for redemption instead of vice. He openly gave his support to the Queen of Hell, even going as far as hugging her.

Adam is now an observer in the Sanctuary. He never got involved into a fight but, according to him, he will if only it get necessary. But, for now, he just watches the Sanctuary's advancements on the Philosophers' stone, as he knows the secrets of this substance.

  • All There in the Manual: His Divine Reflection's abilities are only explained in an aside, never in the story itself.
  • Power Copying: His Divine Reflection. As explained in an aside: Adam is gifted with the ability to perfectly replicate any technique he lays his eyes on, including those used by divine beings. Adam can dodge any attack while simultaneously countering his attacker with their own movement.

Lilith

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dfqfaua_18a0eca2_4cb6_40eb_9036_caa6bbcca0e8.png
Mother of all Demons
Lilith was, according to the Monotheist myths, the first woman created by God for Adam, the First Man.However, Lilith was not going to submit to Adam's will and rebelled against him, which led to her banishment from the Garden of Eden.Lucifer, after her fall, brought her to Hell, making her the first succubus and the Mother of all Demons of Hell.More or less, she was Lucifer's Queen.

Since then Lilith had a lot of hate for Men. After Lucifer's departure to the Mortal Realm and joining the Sanctuary, Lilith took her place as CEO of Hell. Lilith acts like a mother to all demons, deeply caring for every lost souls, just like her.She is beloved in Hell and is sometimes seen as the first ever feminist of Human History.

She also was the inventor of the Parseltongue. Speaking to her giant white snake Hermes, discussing of many occult secrets she gained from Lucifer or discovered herself.

Lilith really think of Hell as her one true home and will defend its interest like lioness.

Be careful when dealing with her. Her seductive and "Ara ara" aura are tools she used to persuade men and women to do her biddings in exchange of favors. She is, much more than Lucifer, an expert in Manipulation.

Also, never piss Lilith off.VERY bad idea !

  • Succubi and Incubi: Not only a succubus, but the first succubus. According to Gilgamesh, this would be due to the fact that she was the first human woman and therefore, like Eve, she was conceived to be the most beautiful because of being the closest to the gods. And that's why when she became a demon, she was a demon of beauty, so a succubus in this case.

Eve

  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Coming from the Garden of Eden, where nudity was common, she doesn't seem to understand the problems it can cause or have a taboo about it.
  • World's Most Beautiful Woman: If Gilgamesh is to be believed, because she is the human woman closest to the gods by virtue of being the first (or second if you count Lilith), she is conceived to be it.
    Aizen Sosuke

The Man who want take the Throne of Heaven
Aizen Sosuke, the most famous renegade of the Soul Society.

He manipulated Soul Society for over 100 years, secretly experimenting on souls, having several of his fellow victims of his experiments made exiled, and secretly sacrificing souls to his Hogyoku to awaken it. He allied himself with the worst enemies of the Shinigamis from the Soul Society, the Hollows from the Hueco Mundo, of which he became the king.

He did all of this with the sole purpose of killing the Soul King, the being who then maintained the Soul Society, the Hueco Mundo, and the World of the Living, and replacing him to create a new world. But as he was about to sacrifice Karakura Town to create the Ōken, the key to the king's palace, at the height of the Winter War, he was defeated by Kurosaki Ichigo. He was then sentenced to 20 000 years locked up and sealed in the Muken.

More than 17 months later, he was released on a temporary and restrained basis to help Soul Society fight off the Vandeinreich invasion, and played a major role in the defeat of Yhwach.

He seems to have escaped from the Muken to come to the universe in which Sanctuary is located, and joined Sanctuary out of interest in the events surrounding it.

He possesses strengths and abilities that clearly distinguish him from other beings, and the glint of madness shines in his dark eyes.

  • Born Winner: Or rather, "born to be a god". From birth he had exceptional power, and his power and abilities have continued to grow ever since.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu? : He mocked Camaro, going so far as to call her a "loser" and causing her to swear to take his soul (although she made no attempt to keep that promise the next time they met). Played down because he could arguably defeat Camaro in single combat. Killing her is another story, but he specializes in destroying evil spirits as a Shinigami, and as he said, there are several ways to get rid of her without killing her.
    Buddha
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/servant_saver_1.png
The Man who Reached the Enlightenment
Buddha. The Saver Servant.

Being a Buddha means that one has attained enlightenment.

The most famous Buddha, Shaka, achieved enlightenment on his own. While still alive he was liberated from so-called “suffering.” His “teachings to attain Buddhahood” are what makes up Buddhism.

However, in Buddhism there is nothing that says, “If you study this you will be saved.”

Buddhism is the collection of principles that Shaka followed to reach enlightenment, and Shaka never proclaimed that his teachings were the only path to attain Buddhahood. The path to enlightenment varies from person to person.

As far as Buddhism is concerned, the potential to become a Buddha is present within everyone. Every human will eventually attain enlightenment. Of course this includes those who are good as well as those who are evil, those who are kind and those who are heartless; everyone is subject to the process of becoming a Buddha.

The reason Buddha has manifested/summoned himself is because he felt Storm Wollfe's grief and wants to accompany the Sanctuary until that grief is gone, in an act of pure compassion. The only reason he stayed after Storm picked up Draco is that he senses the danger to humanity and wants to walk with it through, in an act of pure compassion.

His Minor Noble Phantasm, "Chakravartin", is capable of destroying an infinity of timelines and he transcends space-time. The Noble Phantasm of Xuanzang, "Five Elements Mountain - Buddha Palm" borrows just a small portion of his power. It's powerful enough to defeat Amun-Ra, a true Divine Spirit far exceeding a Demon God Pillar.

    Kirschtaria Wodime and his Servants

Kirschtaria Wodime

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kirschtaria_full.png
Zenith of Humanity
The leader of the Crypters.

The traitor to humanity who brought forth the “White Earth Phenomena” and erased Pan-Human History.

Though believing to be part of the Chosen People, he is a leader who bases his actions on a logical future.

While he may look to be the calm, collected, cold son of a distinguished noble family, in reality he is a young man who is polite to others and does not wield his authority over them.

In spite of being a believer of holding confidence in oneself, he is not arrogant.

In spite of being cool-headed, he is not cold-blooded.

For the history of humanity up until 2017 AD he is the greatest traitor humanity has ever known. However, it is undeniable that his endgame and ideas which drive his actions will bring with them a beneficial turning point for all of humanity.

Though being in the body of a human, he has created a magic system that is able to defeat servants.

That very same magic has existed since long before the “White Earth Phenomena” occurred within the Department of Celestial Bodies where it was deemed to be dangerous and “In the end though it may be amazing, it’s nothing more than a theory on paper that has no use.”.

  • Beyond the Impossible: Summon and support Zeus at full power and Grand Archer. Playing with with Grand Archer, whom he did not summon and does not support. She was summoned by Alaya, and they met and made a contract together later, and she holds on to her own Mana pool. Subverted since he sticks to what he knows is possible for him, which says a lot about what is possible for him.
  • Defeating the Undefeatable: He defeated Zeus, a Physical God who had never known defeat, twice.
  • The Ace: He is stated to have reached the zenith of humanity and to be more powerful than his two Servants (which includes a full-powered Zeus and Grand Archer). Justified in the sense that he has already defeated a more powerful version of Zeus and a Grand Archer in the past.
  • Impossibly Cool Clothes: Between his feather epaulette, his pure white cape and his uniform-esque outfit, his outfit must require a lot of maintenance, that said, it's look really cool.
  • The Archmage : He uses the Ideal Magecraft, a type that is even older than the Age of Gods, back when planets, the heavens, were all overflowing with magical energy. He uses also Astromancy Magecraft, Astrology and High-Speed Incantation. He established a line of Magecraft that allows him to defeat Servants while still human. He can use his Magecraft to instantly throw up barriers powerful enough to block a divine-powered Rhongomyniad. He is also able to perform certain spells which include the ability to create blades of wind which can slice a human to pieces, add weight to an object to make it feel and sound heavier than what it actually is, and cancel the noise made by his footsteps.

Zeus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zeus00.png
King of Gods
Zeus is the King of the Gods in Greek mythology, and the God of the Sky and Lightning. In Roman mythology, he is regarded as Jupiter, while in Egyptian myhtology, he is regarded as Amun.

During the Titanomachia, he killed his own father Kronos and became the King of the Greek Pantheon. During 12,000 BC, he was killed by Sefar, and eventually reincarnated in Greece as a Divine Spirit.

During Zeus's battle with the monstrous dragon Typhon, Typhon stole Harpe and Zeus's lightning. Zeus defeated Typhon and sealed it inside the volcano Mt. Etna.

Zeus is somewhat infamous for his pursuits and offspring, known for having fathered many gods and demigods with a large number of women, often bringing the wrath and jealousy of his spouse Hera down upon them in the process. He is father of both Heracles and Perseus. Although there is no proof, Alexander the Great was also called his son in some stories and consequently gained Divinity as a Heroic Spirit. The Divine Bulls that pull Gordius Wheel, which were an offering to him stolen by Alexander, are called the "Children of Zeus" and generate lightning that is said to be a manifestation of Zeus.

Kaname Madoka

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mk_ms.png
Grand Archer
Madoka is a 14-year-old girl who comes from a loving family (composed by her parents, Tomohisa and Junko, and her younger brother, Tatsuya).

Her life changes when she encounters the magical girl Homura and the familiar Kyubey, who offers to transform her into a magical girl. She sees herself as a girl without special qualities or talents, and after seeing Mami fighting against witches, aspires to become a magical girl like her. She is a kind and gentle person who is averse to fighting. She hopes that the magical girls will support each other, sometimes even putting her own life at risk to help them. After witnessing Mami's death, she grows uncertain about becoming a magical girl, growing ever more hesitant as the true cost of the role is revealed to her.

In previous timelines, Madoka became a magical girl in a pink dress wielding a rose-topped bow and arrow. However, every time, she was either killed or turned into a witch named Kriemhild Gretchen, one that became ever more powerful with each time reset centered around her fate. After being shown the suffering of magical girls throughout history, Madoka decides upon her wish: she contracts to prevent them from becoming witches when they are at their limits. The laws of the universe are rewritten such that at the moment that a soul gem becomes black with anguish, Madoka appears and purifies it before the magical girl passes on.

As a result of this wish, she becomes an omniscient and omnipotent savior named Ultimate Madoka that exists for all time, leaving only Homura (and her brother Tatsuya, for some reason) with the memory of her pre-ascension existence.

The Goddess keeping watch over magical girls from past to future and from the present to the other side of the universe. She, who is omniscient, knows all the magical girls and blesses them.

  • Nice Girl: One of the nicest and cutest characters in the Sanctuaryverse, absolutely without the arrogance one would expect from a character of her stature (Divine Spirit and Grand Servant).
    Charlemagne
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s343_stage2.png
"Charles"
Holy Roman Emperor, King of The Franks, leader and namesake of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne. The founder of Western Europe, the name Charles the Great (Karl der Große) is more well-known. He’s a naïve young man who lacks the dignity to call himself a king, and bases his decisions on whether they're "cool" or not.

Charlemagne (commonly referred to as Charles the Great or Karl der Große) was the first king to unite Germanic, Roman, and religious concepts under the one banner of Western Europe. However, the Servant Charlemagne only laughs vaguely when asked about it, and doesn’t seem to talk about it in any real depth. That’s because for him, his records as the founder of Western Europe or as Karl der Große are incredibly vague, almost as if they’re the memories of a stranger.

A carefree young man who somewhat bluntly says that he views himself as not very suitable to be King of The Franks or Holy Roman Emperor. He bases his aesthetic standard and behavior on whether something is "cool/awesome" or not, even if that will be a handicap for the Master, or even to himself. For instance, he is one of the only person in the world who actually respect the Archer Gilgamesh. Most of them either wants to ignore Archer Gilgamesh or want to kill him. Despite this personality flaw, Astolfo describes Charlemagne as a conscientiously benevolent king that would weep and laugh with his people and also help those who are in need.

Charlemagne prefers for people calls him Charlie, Chuck, or Charles and often insists his comrades to call him by the shortened version of his real name, as he considers "Charlemagne" to be "kind of a heavy name for me to carry around these days". This may be an attempt to differentiate himself from Karl der Große. Because, for some reason, he hates this name, even tho he was one of the most influential historical figures in Europe for more good than bad. Something's up down here, but Charles refuses to elaborate.

He also expresses initial disapproval of Astolfo's crossdressing, despite Astolfo's insistence in justifying this habit. Charlemagne says that such a hobby would make "Daddy" cry, much to Astolfo's chagrin. He later expresses surprise to Astolfo "that [you] look so good in those" (after all, no one can deny Astolfo's ultimate cuteness, adorableness and... sexyness)

When facing Altera, Charlemagne addresses her as "Sister". Also, as a matter of note, Charlemagne would run away whenever Artoria tries to teach him how to fight a Holy Grail War. And Astolfo Saber ran away from Charlemagne when he wants to teach the crossdresser how to be a proper Saber. Some things are meant to go in circles, it seems !

Charlemagne arrived in the Sanctuary the moment Hestia was intronized as a member of the Knights of the Iron Grail. He complimented Astolfo's child (even tho he was at first unaware of that) and then get immediately hugged by Astolfo, his most loyal Paladin.

After all, Astolfo made a promise. He will keep an eye on Joyeuse, Charlemagne's precious sword. But the preciousness of Joyeuse didn't came from its quality as a weapon. Sure, it was a well-refined sword of the utmost quality at the time but... It is what's inside that made the sword so legendary.

What's inside you may ask ? Legend as it that the spearhead of the Longinius is inside, giving the owner of Joyeuse victory in fights. But nobody quite knows if this is true. But you still can admire this beautiful weapon in the Louvres Museum !

    Karna
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/karnastage2full.png
Hero of Charity
Burning Garment of Three Gods
A great hero from the ancient epic poem from India, "Mahabharata". The rival of Arjuna, the central hero of the Mahabharata, as well as his half-brother by a different father.

Upon becoming unable to move due to many curses, he was brought down by Arjuna in a manner similar to deliberate murder.

Karna is a demigod hero born from the human girl Kunti and the Sun God Surya.

However, right after being born, he was abandoned by Kunti and raised as the son of a charioteer.

Still, his attributes as a hero are not the kind of thing that can remain hidden.

After casting away Karna, his mother Kunti gave birth to the five sons of the Pandu royal house.

The third among them is Arjuna, someone who would become a lifelong rival for Karna.

Upon growing old, Karna became an adopted child of the Kuru House that was antagonic to the Pandu House.

However, there were too many curses and obstacles before Karna could fight Arjuna.

Receiving a curse from a Brahmin, deceived by Indra, forced to swear to not fight anyone other than Arjuna in response to the appeal of his mother Kunti; but even still Karna accepted everything.

From the anecdotes of handing over his armor to Indra, Karna is entrusted to a god-slaying spear by dismantling, tearing up and discarding the golden armor.

A spear of light that even the king of gods was not able to handle properly.

The single strike released by peeling off his whole body and being dyed in blood purges all sorts of impurities.

—- O' sun, abide to death.

Karna is a highly tolerant Servant who accept all matters as "that is also valid".

He is impartial to all people and, also, honors all people as "their own respective flowers".

Possessing martial prowess and noble mentality there were never openly recognized due to many prejudices, Karna contends for highest place among all Servants even on the matter of character.

...It's probably an unlikely argument, but if there is a Master who cannot win even after forming a contract with this Servant, that would be a human with top-ranking hopeless nature, unsuited for combat.

  • The Ace: He is ridiculously powerful, extremely humble and generous, and possesses Undying Loyalty.
  • Big Damn Heroes: God Arjuna has defeated the group of the Sanctuary (despite the reinforcement of Shiva and Kali) and is about to finish them off with his Noble Phantasm, when he appears (accompanied by Aśvatthāman and Rama) and ends up defeating God Arjuna shortly after.
  • Came Back Strong: After being resurrected, he gained the power of Shiva and Vishnu in addition to his own (from Aśvatthāman and Rama who were the ones who resurrected him in the first place).
  • Fusion Dance: He merged with Shiva and Vishnu, after Aśvatthāman and Rama separated themselves from their powers to enable him to obtain it.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: He sacrificed himself to hold off the first Cycle Yuga for 5 seconds, allowing the rest of the Sanctuary group to flee from it.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: Having Karna as an ally is both a privilege and an unintended insult on his part as he usually operates under the belief that whoever he has sworn fealty to has done something worthy of his loyalty... and probably needs all the help they can get.
  • Playing with Fire: Since he is the son of the sun god, he can use fire. One of his Skills, Mana Burst (Flame), allows him to envelop his weapons and body in flames from the sun.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: He gives a severe one to God Arjuna in the final fight against him.
    • "Karna: Neither of us is at all close to being a perfect god. That could not be clearer. Would a perfect god be so fixated on my name, as you have been thus far ? That can only mean one thing... Your humanity is showing through. [...] You are very much still human deep down inside, Arjuna. That is why we can do battle like this. I, for one, am grateful that neither of us are gods. We are both warriors. Nothing more. [...] It doesn't matter how much power you take in from elsewhere, Arjuna. This changes nothing. ...Oh, right. I have been told that I have a tendency to say too little rather than too much, so let me be abundantly clear about this. If the dark Krishna inside you truly has become who you are now... ...then you yourself have become something you saw as defective, and you just haven't realized it yet. Though, honestly, I never saw you as defective at all. So let me ask you: What are your own deficiencies ? What is your own evil ? Have you ever looked at yourself, and admitted that you might also have faults ? The Arjuna I know was no god, but he knew the value of taking a good, long look at himself."
  • Red-Headed Hero: After gaining the power of Shiva and Vishnu and transitioning into his Burning Garment of Three Gods form, he has flaming red hair.
  • Say My Name: Arjunaaa !!!
  • The Stoic: Karna rarely shows any emotion simply because he perceives things as "valid" and therefore has no reason to react, but in reality he is a kind-hearted and noble man who is always deep in thought.
Edmond Dantès/The Count of Monte Cristo

The Count of Monte Cristo
Wielder of the Black Earth (Diluted)
Wielder of the Black Earth (Full Power/Original)
Pseudo-Sin of Revenge

The individual known as the world's most prominent avenger.

Popularly known as the "King of the Cavern" or the "Count of Monte Cristo".

Although imprisoned on the hellish If Tower (Château d'If) due to a false charge derived from an unscrupulous conspiracy, he did not fall to despair thanks to a mind of steel, and the story goes that he eventually acquired the treasure of the Monte Cristo island and swooped down upon Paris— dragging down many leading figures that reigned over France - that is, the people who once deceived him - into hell.

His favorite phrase is "Attendre et espérer," which translates to "Wait and hope."

His dreadful life, his path of vengeance, his devotion to his beloved Mercédès, his struggle and regret, and finally his path to repentance... It is a story beloved by the people of France and the world that features him as the "World's Greatest Seeker of Vengeance."

The story of the Count of Monte Cristo was written by Alexandre Dumas and is a work of fiction. However, the existence of the priest who gave Edmond guidance within the Château d'If, Abbé Faria, has been confirmed...

His True Name is indeed Edmond Dantes, but he perceives himself as a different person from the "Edmond Dantes" who was a seaman from Marseille.

"The reason being that 'Edmond Dantes' abandoned his evil nature at the end of the gruesome revenge tragedy in Paris... but I, who manifested as a Servant, continue to be the 'image of a nemesis'.

In that case, I am not Edmond" - or so he says.

"I am the Count of Monte Cristo (King of the Cavern).

Unknown to love, unknown to compassion, established as the black flame of grudge that blazes itself dazzlingly only by means of hatred and vengeance; nothing but an Avenger who rages until he turns everything to ashes.

My beloved mistress (Haydee) is nowhere in this world, so this body shall remain a demon of vengeance for all eternity—"

  • Anti-Hero: One of the most famous in literature, to begin with.
  • Badass Boast: Several times, usually in response to Roa's words:
    • "Roa: You are facing a being more powerful than even the Lord, and may he strike me down on the spot if that is not the case ! But he won't do anything. Only the eternity to which I aspire is capable and authorized to kill me.
    • Edmond Dantès: Well, say that in front of the Lord himself then."

    [...]
    • "Roa: Impossible. I killed you, and you're not like me, you can't come back from death... So tell me, how are you able to come back and stand in front of me ? And this power, I would recognize it among a thousand, how did you obtain it ?!
    • Edmond Dantès: How did I manage to come back and stand in front of you ? With difficulty. How did I get this power ? With pleasure."

    [...]
    • "Roa: It's pointless. Because for me, physical death is just a rite of passage. Even if this body dies here, I will hack back into the human world. Know this. I am the perfect immortal. I know it. Death. I know the darkness. The emptiness that I have trough dozens of tim-
    • Edmond Dantès: Despair. That... is Hell. I will not take pity upon you, rot away."
  • Beam Spam: He can spam black energy beams.
  • Came Back Strong: After Roa briefly kills him, he encounters Archetype: Earth/The Princess of the True Ancestors whose powers he briefly gains, allowing him to defeat Roa this time when he faces him again. Later, he mastered a diluted version of this form, drastically increasing his already extraordinary power while remaining far from the power he had on this occasion.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: There are two things that are certain of Dantes- his well-buried decency, and his inclination for cruelty. If you get in a fight with him, Dantes holds nothing back and always goes for the kill as soon as he can, all while laughing mockingly at your imminent death. And this is a guy on your side...
  • Deader than Dead: What he was going to do to Roa after defeating him, too bad Roa found a way to escape it at the very last second.
  • Evil Laugh: Definitely one of the loudest characters in the entire Sanctuaryverse, to say the least.
  • It's Personal: He despises Roa for, well, being Roa, and in fact killed a version of him in another life (and also burned his soul out of existence) because his incarnation at the time was one of the "three wise men" who framed his fellow prisoner in the Château d'if, Abbe Faria.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Violent, brutal, and cruel, but only to those he sees as deserving of retribution.
  • Red Baron: The King of the Cavern (Gankutsuou), The Eternal Spirit of Vengeance.
  • Revenge: His story is at least one of the most famous revenge stories in the world. And he gets a form on par with the Seven Deadly Sins because he embodies revenge so well.
  • Super Mode: First the form he obtains against Roa (the most powerful form he has ever had), then a diluted version of this one, then a new form by obtaining the Pseudo-Seat of Sin of Revenge.
  • Temporal Duplication: His Noble Phantasm "Enfer Château d'If" is described as a technique of "super high-speed movement and thinking" that lets him transcend spacetime, and he can use it to create time-displaced duplicates of himself to attack multiple enemies simultaneously.
  • That Man Is Dead: Due to being an Avenger, he does not view himself as Edmond Dantes who actually found redemption, but as a simple spirit of vengeance.
    Gogeta
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gogeta_base.jpg
The Ultimate Warrior
Super Saiyan
Super Saiyan Blue Ultra Instinct
Classic Design (Super Saiyan Blue Ultra Instinct)

  • Adaptation Deviation: Like all EX fusions appearing in the SanctuaryVerse, this is not an EX fusion but a fusion/being from the Dreamlike World (which is described as a world of possibilities) here. The EX armband here is an armband of Time Lord technology to allow him to stay in this world.
  • Dynamic Entry: He probably has one of the best entrance in the entire SanctuaryVerse, saving the Sanctuary group from Baby Vegetto Black, one of the strongest enemies than the Sanctuary has confronted, crushing that Baby Vegetto Black, spotting Cellza who was about to attack him by surprise in the back, then crushing Cellza after Celldra (fusion between Cell and Thundra) was unable to do so.
  • Nice Guy: As soon as he appears, he saves everyone and smiles when everything is settled, and even before that (chronologically), he becomes the teacher of Storm and her daughter Sarah apparently out of the goodness of his heart, even letting the latter take an aerial walk on his back.
  • No-Sell: When Cellza finally manages to hit him with an energy beam at point-blank range, he emerges without a scratch.
  • Super Mode: The most powerful form he has taken is Super Saiyan Blue coupled with Ultra Instinct.
  • The Ace: He completely outperformed all his opponents. Like his canon version, he continues to hand out Curb Stomp Battles like a pro. This time, against Cellza and Baby Vegetto Black.
  • World's Strongest Man: As stated during his appearance, it is known that he is the most powerful mortal and fighter in the Omniverse, tied with Whirus and only below the Ultimate Ones.
  • You Don't Look Like You: A somewhat special case, since it depends on who is using the character. Sharout, who introduced him, uses his EX-design from Dragon Ball Fusion, which makes more sense with the fact that he's a version from the Dreamlike World like Cellza, Izmia uses his classique canon design which is more iconic.

Arcueid Brunestud

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ai_art__archetype_earth___fate_grand_order_by_the_sanctuaire_dfsrqby_414w_2x.jpg
Archetype Earth
Archetype: Earth is a playable character in Melty Blood, a fragment of Arcueid Brunestud's subconscious who decides to wake up and take over. She not only represents Arcueid at her most powerful, her original form before her fall due to Roa's actions, but she also acts as the Archetype of the World.

Archetype:Earth is Arcueid's true form, which shows her side as the touch of the planet as the True Ancestor of highest grade of purity. In order to become this form she must take back her stolen hair from Altrouge Brunestud. She is referred to as the guiding principle "Crimson Moon" however she is not a different personality, her principle of conduct is different but her essence is the same as that of Arcueid. She is the "shadow of Arcueid Brunestud", a possibility that may eventually accept the Crimson Moon's will

(Source: Type-Moon Wiki)

Within the Sanctuary, she does not have any particular role. She often acts like a counselor and have the ear of Izmia.Nobody knows exactly when she arrived, as there's no record about her in the archives except her original background...

She is addressed both as Arcueid Brunestud and Archetype-Earth.

When question about the recent discovery about the Orichalcum, Adamantine, Emerald of Lucifer and the ORMUS (the white powder of gold), she have a mysterious smile, giving off the impression that she knows a lot about the subject but choosed not to talk about it)

What are her reasons ? Just like her, it is but a mystery.

  • Alternate Self : She's not a canon version but a version from the Sanctuaryverse.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: After briefly beginning to unleash her true power, she literally crushed Foreign Lux like a bug, holding back just enough for him to survive so she could interrogate him.
  • Ultimate Life Form: She was created by the True Ancestors with no other purpose than to be the most powerful of their kind, and is Archetype: Earth.
  • World's Strongest Man: She is Archetype: Earth and as such, one of the most powerful characters in the Sanctuaryverse, the second most powerful being of the Sanctuaryverse, just behind ORT.

V/V

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/v_v__angel_notes__by_sharout_dg198pg_fullview_1.jpg
Type: Venus
Projection. Angel of fantasy.

She plays the guitar. She's pretty bad at it.

Appears at Godot's apartment, acting as if she were a maid but is actually a good-for-nothing freeloader, she is a big troublemaker for Godot's very few earnings. Basically, she just sits around and does nothing.

V/V has a special ability that gives her a subtle healing effect. V/V's signature move however, is to completely eat up Godot's wages.

Her hobby is appreciating the lives of those gathered under the big trees.

The Ultimate One of Venus.

It could be described as a carnivorous plant with the overall length of about 1000 meters. It is said to have a form similar to a fish with a pair of gigantic trees behind it, but nobody has ever recorded it accurately because it was hidden between the sea of clouds.

It came flying into Earth a little later than the other invading Aristoteles and drifted among the sea of clouds for a long time. For a moment, it was harmless until it completed its search for an ideal seedbed and finally began its descent.

That true form roots into the earth and spreads millions, or rather an indecipherable number of spores (angelic predator terminals). It is an invasive creature that resembles a forest plant that is capable of growing from the environment.

The Aristoles was a parasite so it had "taken" the concept of the human species.

Admirable and single-minded in nature, she had fell in love with the idea of love itself.

The command that had been inputted was "Prey upon everyone and every thing on Earth", but the answer that was created was "Love everyone and every thing on Earth", I suppose that can't be helped.

Ah, it became an incurable thing. Thy name to be loved.

  • Angelic Abomination: A benign, but being the spirit detached from its body of Type: Venus, she is one.
  • Continuity Nod: She repeats about the guitar what she said in Angel Notes. Not only that, but her guitar is still out of tune (at least until Lily Morningstar tune it for her). She mentions Godot, without naming him, in passing.
    • "V/V: Yes, I know. I'm not improving with the guitar at all. I'm playing it just like I'm imaging it, but what I'm thinking and what's coming out are completely different. The one I was doing housework for told me the guitar wasn't tuned, but when I asked him what that meant, he told me to forget it."
  • Dreadful Musician: Some things don't change, like in Angel Notes, she's still bad at playing guitar. Lily Morningstar clearly mentions it after a demonstration.
    "Lily cringes at the sound.
    Lily: "Yeah, you need practice.""
    • She has since improved.
  • Our Angels Are Different: Unlike all the other angels, archangels or otherwise, who have appeared so far (like Michael or Gabriel) she is not actually an angel, but in reality the spirit of Type: Venus.
  • Ultimate Life Form : That's what it means to be an Ultimate One.
  • Winged Humanoid: She is one.

Eco-Arc

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arcueid_child_remake.png
Arcueid Child (8 Years Old)
The Archetype: Earth/Arcueid Brunestud from the world of Mash Alter and Castoria Alter, who was also one of Sharout's girlfriends in their original world, and has switched to energy saving mode, to economize power (hence her name) upon arriving in the Sanctuaryverse, before falling into a long sleep while Mash Alter and Castoria Alter joined the Genesis Sect, only waking up when they both defected and joined the Sanctuary.
  • Alternate Self: Or rather, an Alternate Self of an Alternate Self. Already, the Archetype: Earth who is Sharout's girlfriend is the canon version (The Third Ascension Version from Fate/Grand Order to be precise), therefore an Alternate Self of the one from the Sanctuary, and in addition this one is an Alternate Self of Sharout's girlfriend.
  • Fountain of Youth: When she arrived in the Sanctuaryverse, after the death of her version of Sharout, she went into energy saving mode, thus rejuvenating.
  • Ultimate Life Form: She is still Archetype: Earth, the most powerful of the two candidates to be the Ultimate One of the Earth, and second character the most powerful of the Sanctuaryverse behind ORT.
  • Sleep-Mode Size: In the form of energy saving, she has literally returned to childhood.
  • Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: Despite her physical age (8 years old), she shows very little emotion and always speaks in a cold and refined manner, and very harshly towards those she judges as inferior.
  • World's Strongest Man: Like all versions of her, only ORT is above her when she releases her full power. Notably, the crystals created by the emanation of her true power have been described as containing infinite energy and Gudao/Izmia clearly stated that it was the most powerful thing he/she had seen (even after seeing the Pearl of Destruction, part of the power of Roa or even Excaliblasts at full power).
