(Alpha)- Unknown

Zyera Au-Desse
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zyeraicon_5755.png

Beta
"I have sleeping to do."

  • Bad Mood as an Excuse - hey, she only destroyed the music room because she was in a bad mood due to not being able to sleep for 3 days thanks to Beta!
  • Sleepyhead - Zyera has a knack for falling asleep anywhere.

Dimitri "Wrath" Vassiliadis
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dimitriicon3_9235.png

Delta

  • Butt-Monkey- If he's not running for his dear life from Harumi or dealing with Takeshi's antics, he's probably being severely injured by falling students.

Alistair Winterfell
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alistairicon_7448.png

Epsilon

Shinjiro Nakamura
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shinjiroicon_5449.png

Zeta

  • Master of Illusion- He's not a light manipulator for nothing!
  • Twitchy Eye: how many times already has his eye twitched from seeing Karma half-naked with Takeshi next to her?

Deborah Xantos
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/deborahicon_8116.png

Eta

  • Agent Scully- She goes to a school full of other species (aka, Sirens, Vampires, Werewolves, Nekos) other than human... and blatantly rejects them because they aren't "plausible" in real life. Her starting lines: "X does not exist. It is impossible for X to exist, otherwise X would have happened."
  • Brutal Honesty- While yes she does hide a few things, she never once fails to tell the truth in everything she does say, which unfortunately gets her on many people's bad side.
  • Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick- Played with. While everything that she says warrants a lot of Flat Whats, the things she doesn't say are either incriminating or full of Squick that she opts to leave that out.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!- Fun Fact: Television prior to the late 1960s never so much as permitted the use of "Hell", "Ass", or even "Damn". After that Television became more grittier, but very slowly- and even then, it was pretty much too late for Deborah to be influenced into picking up the habit. This is also why other characters cussing doesn't even so much as make her flinch.
  • Full-Contact Magic- Her Vector Powers. Although they're backed by science. How/Why though, is a mystery.
  • Hands-Off Parenting- No one's honestly surprised, considering, uh, you know.
  • Hero with an F in Good- 50% of the time? Yeah, breaking stuff. The other 50%? You really don't even have to ask.
  • Innocently Insensitive- Much of her dialogue comes off as rude/mean, but that's probably because she always says what she means and lacks the skill to phrase it better. Alternatively, she could just give no hoots, but YMMV.
  • Insane Troll Logic- Goes Hand in Hand with her logical fallacies.
  • Logical Fallacies- In her opening post, she somehow makes a connection between her backpack and the meaning of life.
  • Meaningful Echo- You know that random crap she spewed way back about certain people? Yeah, what was used as a 'Crowning Moment of Funny' basically became one of the stepping points of her character development. See below.
  • Mind Screw- If this post doesn't cut it, nothing will. Her dreams are seriously fucked up/full of awesome. Also see above.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity- Sometimes you wonder if she's screwing with you or being honest. You especially wonder when you're a member of Raishon Academy and she proves (uncannily) to know a lot of weird stuff. Irony much?
    • Although to most people's credit, she's usually only half right. Though given her overly long dialogues, you usually have to guess where the halfway mark is.
  • The Stoic- Well, she has the showing no emotion part down. In her head everything gets pretty...NOT...
  • Teen Genius- According to Word of God. And considering she has a formula for almost every little thing she can do with her powers, it's not too far to say that she can back it up.
  • Verbal Tic- Had one at first, though the character admits it wasn't there before. Fortunately it went away after a while.

Yasunori Maeyama
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yasunoriicon_2179.png

Iota

  • Never My Fault - Zig-Zagged. He'll take credit for anything bad that actually happens to everybody else. Otherwise he just flat out denies it/ignores it.

Isabelle Olivier Meirwen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/isabelleicon_585.png

Kappa
"Someone tell me the best and easiest way to hide a body. I need to know like, right now."

Alf's best friend and Raishon's struggling Council Treasurer. Despite her rude way of speaking and her irritability, she's noticeably shy and forgives very easily when someone's done something wrong to her. Even being the Treasurer, she's not always on her best behavior, although Kappa tries to keep her under control. It's possible she can't say how she really feels without tossing a bit of annoyance into it because she ran away from home, just as Alf did.

She's currently attending Raishon after having lost control of her powers that Alf wasn't even aware she had.

  • Brutal Honesty - Ugly, fat, stupid? She'll say so without hesitance.
  • Crossdresser - Much prefers tuxedos over dresses as she thinks they look better on her, although she'll occasionally wear the latter.
  • Homeschooled Kids - Sometimes, when she isn't having Alf attempt to explain something to her.
  • Living Emotional Crutch - Alf is hers. When he had pneumonia, she completely broke down in the fear that she would lose him.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine - She's really rude, but that doesn't stop her from having a feminine side.
  • Love Interests- (Using this wrong, but oh well.) Hers is Levi, and as expected, used to be Alf.
  • Shout-Out - Her middle name comes from the Fullmetal Alchemist character of the same name. It's because of Isabelle's hairstyle.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot - She really fucking likes to swear, especially to emphasize a goddamn point.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds - With Alf. If they don't act like a married couple, then there's a problem.

Tomoko Nakamura
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tomokoicon_175.png

Lambda

  • Elective Mute- She only speaks to Shinjiro, but she communicates in writing with others.

Xalander Shimada
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xanicon3_9710.PNG

Mu
"And when I was . . . No, that's boring. How about when I was 6 . . . I, ummm . . . No, that's boring too."

  • Moment Killer- Bow down to the Celestial Cockblocker. He completely destroyed the moment between Helios and Yukina.

Alf Lenhart (Elijah?)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alficon_4545.png

Nu

"I'm not very popular. In fact, I'm kind of nonexistent. But I have been kicked in the face, if that counts for anything?"
"I’m pretty sure people’s private parts don’t make noises."

Raishon's token motormouth hobo, and the future captain of the Culinary Club.

Alf appears to be stupid a good majority of the time, but he really isn't, despite being homeless. He's actually just very cheery and that joy tends to make him come off as a little ditzy, but he lets people think he's stupid. Most people don't realize or ever find out that there's a lot more to him than he lets on, but that's exactly what he wants for reasons he wouldn't want to admit.

His A.I., Nu, is the only other one besides Isabelle who knows about Alf's lost memories, although he won't tell him what they are, either. Because of Isabelle, Nu thinks girls have cooties and is generally shy, not wanting to interact with Alf much. Like everyone else, Nu thinks Alf is a giant loser, but he likes him regardless.

  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering? - Tends to come up with solutions to get out of things that are more difficult or tedious than the easiest solution.
  • Born Unlucky - Really, every single post of his has some sort of misfortune in it.
  • Bystander Syndrome - If he's already helping someone out and another crappy thing is happening, he'll note it but not do anything about it.
  • Captain Oblivious - Was Momoko sick after sneezing and coughing a few thousand times? Also completely oblivious to innuendos unless he asks Isabelle about it and she laughs, apparently. He also has no idea when people are upset with him, or sometimes even when they're sad, unless they're crying.
  • Cats Are Mean - If there was a religion for this, he would be in it. He's still on the lookout for Captain Planet, though.
  • Character Development - Went backwards and forward with this. He talks slightly less now, and when he goes off on rambles they're shorter and somewhat make a bit more sense, but he's just a little bit more silly and emotional now.
  • Cloudcuckoolander - He called tofu noodles. And that isn't even the worst example.
  • Crossdresser - Apparently had to suffer through this because Isabelle wanted him to.
  • Designated Victim - While it's not really the proper way to use this trope, Alf is the victim of Luka's fury because they're in the same dorm. At least that means she's comfortable around him...
  • Fear of Thunder - Alf has feared thunder and storms in general since as far back as he could remember. It's the reason why Isabelle hasn't told him about her powers.
  • Flat "What" - When he sees Gemini in his fox form.
  • Girlish Pigtails - Had girlish pigtails on the first day of school. With his response to Isabelle's reaction, he doesn't seem to see what's wrong with him having pigtails. He liked them.
  • Goggles Do Nothing - But hell if he cares, goggles are cool!
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck! - If he's speaking to someone and he's about to curse, he'll correct himself with a PG version of the word.
  • Hair-Contrast Duo - With Isabelle and Momoko, being the nice one to the rude one and the talkative one to the quiet one, respectively.
  • Hero with an F in Good - Is he a nice guy who wants to help people out? Check. Is he someone who has broken the law more than once? Check.
  • Homeschooled Kids - "Home"schooled himself after running away from his family. He doesn't struggle too much (on some subjects, anyway) at school because he's read so much over the years.
  • Living Emotional Crutch - If it wasn't for Isabelle, he would likely never get out of the attitude he had as a kid. Whenever she dies, he's said he's going right with her.
  • Love Interests - His are Momoko and Dio. There's also Yasunori—which was a Tumblr joke—much to his chagrin.
  • Magical Seventh Son - Although he isn't the seventh son, but...
  • Master of Illusion - Ignoring the fact that he's far from being a master.
  • Shout-Out - Alf actually started out entirely as a shoutout to Xanthias. His current power and him being an Augur comes from another character Shinuvi had well before Raishon. (Who, coincidentally enough, had the same faceclaim as Eli.)
  • Side Effects Include... - If he cries or creates illusions and hallucinations, he's at risk of losing his memories. He'll also see illusions/hallucinations himself that he didn't mean to make himself see, and he has horrible memory if it relates to any sense that doesn't involve his vision. His entire power in general is exhausting, actually.
  • Smitten Teenage Boy - Although he doesn't get crushes, but he cares very, very, very deeply for people he may have only met a day before. An example is him having met Anya (he actually never got her name), her being very cold because she's a ghost. Immediately, he worried if she had frostbite, gave her his jacket, and advised her to keep warm. If what came after that event was actually written, it would show Alf still worrying about her and strongly hoping she was okay.
  • Talking the Monster to Death - If he was ever a Guardian, this would be his method of killing chimeras.
  • The Artful Dodger - Maybe some students of Raishon recognize him, since he usually stayed at the city nearby.
  • Trademark Favorite Food - Noodles, which is why he called the tofu that on the first day of school. If he sees food, noodles will be the first thing that pops into his mind.
  • Unfortunate Names - His last name is from a murderer and his first name is from the person they murdered. (Don't blame his parents.)
  • Verbal Tic - Previously had one, but it was dropped for being pointless.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds - With Dio. They aren't close friends, but it still applies. (He's the nice guy of the pair. He actually gave Dio permission to punch him in the face.) Also seems to be one with Isabelle, although it's only implied.
  • Who Would Be Stupid Enough? - Alf would be stupid enough, depending on what it is. He's only gullible around very close friends, however, because he trusts them and apparently they would never try to trick him! Really!

Dionisio Ruere Nasario
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dioicon_3235.png

Xi

The stoic member of Raishon's Guardians, and possessor of the A.I. Xi. Dio, also known as Fourth, was raised and trained to become a member of the Burial Agency, an unofficially acknowledged part of the Roman Catholic Church dedicated to protecting and serving humanities' interests and the interests of the church. He was assigned to go to Raishon in order to determine whether it, and the city around it was a potential threat overall to humanity and if it needed to be cleansed, and also because he was the only member young looking enough who accepted the task.

  • Affably Evil - Sure he's a member of a group of cold blooded killers and has done plenty of unspeakable things. But he's unfailingly polite, will never turn down a request, or refuse to help someone in need, and at worst, will just playfully tease you about it. Then again, he's a member of a group of cold blooded killers.
  • Aloof Big Brother- To the other Guardians, despite being the same age or younger than some.
  • Church Militant - He belongs to a group within the Roman Catholic Church known as the Burial Agency, who specialize in killing threats to the church regardless of being demons, nonhumans, or regular humans considered heretics.
  • Combat Pragmatist - Combines this with the below, especially when finding a Worthy Opponent
  • Deadpan Snarker - Averted. Anyone who hasn't spent enough time around him won't realize it, but Dionisio specifically comments on things in a manner similar to sarcasm combining it with his natural monotone just to mess with people.
  • Holier Than Thou - Subverted. Despite being raised in a Catholic Orphanage and trained as a priest he doesn't actually believe in God and only pays lipservice to Catholicism, and willfully acknowledges himself and his actions as the things a monster would do. He considers himself the 'lowest form of human', though he won't show regret for it either.
  • Hour of Power - When using his Death Perception he can only fight for ten minutes before his brain shuts down and reducing him to a drooling mess.
  • It Amused Me - His primary reason for living and the driving force behind all his actions.
  • Licked by the Dog - By Alf. He's even said he would "still love him all the same" if Dio was to be a dork, though not in that way.
  • Major Injury Underreaction - Reacts to losing an arm and various other injuries with a blink, a shrug, and keeps on going.
  • Omnicidal Maniac - Believe it or not, it's not Dio. It's Xi who wants to do very horrible things to you until you stop breathing, and cordially detests all forms of life, be it natural or artificial.
  • Professional Killer- Although without the pay. It's "God's Work" after all.
  • Seen It All - Mostly due to being a demon/vampire/witch hunting killer since he could walk.
  • The Gunslinger - His real specialty, though he dislikes it because it's far less "Up close and personal" and as such tends not to use them.
  • The Nicknamer - Dio won't refer to people by their names, and instead gives them the 'honor' of nicknames regardless of how a person might feel about it.
  • Token Evil Teammate - This guy lives solely to entertain himself, enjoys killing, and thanks to his job before coming to Raishon, has committed acts of atrocity in the name of God. But hey, he's with the Guardians now!
  • Trademark Favorite Food- Mapo Tofu, and anything extremely spicy. He'll even ADD spices too it!
  • Tyke Bomb - Having been trained since birth to kill all manners of threats to humanity makes him this.
  • Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World - Occasionally takes "Personal Leaves of Absence" from school due to another job being tasked to him, and then comes right back.
  • With Great Power Comes Great Insanity - Dio's eyes encourage bloodlust and fester a killing urge within those that hold them, not to mention the human brain wasn't meant to perceive death itself. When his eyes grow strong enough, he'll either go insane from the urge to kill, have to blind himself, or be put down due to going insane. Doesn't help that Xi actually encourages going wild, and if it wasn't for Dio's manifest stoicism he would've long succumb to it.
  • Villains Never Lie - He will never tell a lie, but has no problem withholding anything he knows unless asked.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds - He's one with Alf. They aren't close friends, and it seems even less so when you see that Dio keeps Alf around mostly for entertainment, but it still applies. (He would be the snarker.)
  • You Are Number Four - His actual name is Fourth, since he was the Fourth child to be enlisted within the training program which raised him. He killed the rest.

Seung Hyo Choi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/oie_8485kPtFy5ik_2440.jpg

Omicron
"You're looking at a guy who stole his parents' car at five and drove around town and knocked over mailboxes and trash cans on the curb and slammed into fire hydrants because he wanted to be badass."

A flirtatious playboy and possessor of the A.I. Omicron who has a mischievous and daring streak to him, although he has stopped flirting with every girl he sees as time went by since the first month of school. In school, he is very lazy and does not take his studies seriously at all, even ditching classes because he thinks they're pointless and he can learn the same amount of information just by going to the library (which he never does, either)

  • Book Dumb - because he never pays attention in school or takes it seriously
  • Boy Band - although he never initially agreed to being in one. He is just because Eli says so.
  • Casanova Wannabe - sorry Seung, but you just fail.
  • Challenge Seeker - this guy loves a good challenge
  • Cool Bike - well, he thinks his bike is cool. BTW, it's called the Kimchi Dragon, or Kimdra for short
  • Cosplay - during the Cosplay event, he was Sirius Black. Which is ironic considering how his appearance is an Expy of him
  • Loud of War - in 1.0 of the RP, Seung-Hyo cranked up the radio on his motorbike to full blast while riding off into the city, greatly annoying everyone around him.
  • Time Stands Still - he can freeze whatever's in his surroundings temporarily, though he's not freezing time, but rather molecules.

Dion Basil Aneirin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dion_3521.jpg

Pi
"Ms. Evans if you wanted a kiss you really should have just asked."

Misaya Tohno
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/oie_22183044JMUdqX8L_5504.jpg

Rho
"Stop calling me Misa-Misa—heck, I'd appreciate if you would stop talking to me in general."

  • Berserk Button - The presence of people is a good start to setting her off...
  • Broken Bird - If she was born in a normal household, Misaya probably would've grown up to be strong-minded and cheerful.
  • Don't Make Me Destroy You - She will, and she will destroy school property along with you.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me! - You expect a thank you, but with Misaya, in most cases, she will be insulted and will probably hate you more than she already did.
  • Epiphanic Prison - Misaya thinks a certain way and can't seem to think in a different way, so she stays the way she is.

Elliot van Kohler
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ellioticon1_816.png

Sigma
"But going to class requires effort, and I don't have enough effort to do something I don't even care about."

  • Brilliant, but Lazy - Elliot is a genius, enough to be far ahead of where he is now... that is, if he cared enough to try.
  • Power Limiter - He had a little "trouble" with his powers as a kid, so...

Takeshi Sakamoto
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/takeshiicon_8024.png

Tau
"Whoever thought it would be a good idea to gather up a whole bunch of super powered teenagers in one spot is just asking for trouble."

  • Ascended Fanboy - Takeshi is a fan of anime, manga and video games. Then he got an ability that with creativity and understanding, allows him to copy things he sees on TV. There were good and bad results.
  • Boxing Lessons for Superman - Takeshi did a lot of side work on the side so that everything he can do with his abilities won't blow up in his face. Again.
  • Calling Your Attacks - Takeshi has named everything he can do with his abilities, as well as things that have nothing to do with his abilities as well. Often times, it's played with. "Burning Inferno Scarlet Rhapsody Fist!!" = A kick to the shin.
  • Chekhov's Gunman - The npcs Takeshi interacts with have sometimes appeared long before they were actually introduced. For example, Yuuichi who was weak and toyed with by a teacher, and Julia who was a frail girl in the Haunted House arc. Both Took a Level in Badass
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome - Takeshi likes to help people. Sometimes too much, and in ways that are unwanted or unexpected. Like taking out an underground mafia gambling ring to help someone out of debt.
  • Class Change Level Reset - When he realized his Velocity Manipulation was Vector Manipulation, Takeshi had to redo all of his many experiments with this new mindset. Luckily for him, he did not have to do a Skill Point Reset
  • Crazy Enough to Work - He doesn't think inside the box
  • Girl Watching - Since nobody wants to talk to him about this, he does it by himself
  • Giving Up on Logic - If Takeshi is capable of using ideas from anime/games and the ideas work, then there is something very wrong with the world
  • Heroic RRoD - What happens if Takeshi screws up, or doesn't take safety precautions with his powers. It already happened once, and at a very bad time as well.
  • I Shall Taunt You - he insulted everyone in the school during the Animal Transformation event
  • Mundane Utility - His abilities could potentially make him, like any other student at Raishon, a Person of Mass Destruction. Takeshi, however, uses it to play Visual Novels and Ero-Games in peace and quiet.
  • My Greatest Failure - At his old school, many things could have been averted if only they had all made a different choice. However, the events that occured during this period was a...
    • Necessary Fail - The events changed many thing about Takeshi, such as the way he acts, how he uses his abilities as well as how he develops them. All of this is in preparation for...
    • My Greatest Second Chance - He gets to go to another school for super powered teenagers. He's doing things different this time.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity - Takeshi's just a wild, idiotic pervert with a hyperactive imagination, right?
  • Reality Is Out to Lunch - Raishon's a good example of this. At least to Takeshi's standards.
  • Required Secondary Powers - Everything that he does. This is why Takeshi is capable of doing so many different things with his powers; because everything he does is basically a prerequisite in order to do something else. If he doesn't take that into consideration, body parts go flying. Usually his own.
  • Spontaneous Weapon Creation - Takeshi is capable of doing this with his powers.
    • Sword Beam - Other people call it a Lightsaber. Takeshi calls it a Sword of Light.
  • Taught by Experience - He's a level grinder. If Takeshi wants to learn something new, he really has to practice it over and over again to truly learn it. This applies for both his powers, as well as his schoolwork.
    • Awesome by Analysis - Everything he learns, Takeshi does not forget. He knows the inside and out of it. He also imitates other people's abilities by adapting his own theories, and testing it over and over again with variations until he gets it right. Then he tests that over and over to learn how it can go wrong. Then that is tested over and over on different stimuli, and again to see how creatively he can use that new theory.
  • World Gone Mad - Takeshi's general belief is that Raishon is absolutely insane. As a result, he often does things to account for this. Some of Takeshi's friends will say, "When I first met Takeshi, I thought he was just crazy and insane. After I got to know him, I realized that it's the world that's insane for doing what Takeshi says will happen."

Yue Zhou
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yue2_369.png

Chi; Student Council Secretary
"Konnichiwa. Wo de mingzi Zhou Yue."

Raishon's Student Council Secretary. He was actually surprised that he even made it onto the council in the first place since he's a freshman and all. His tasks on the council includes maintaining a record of meetings and activities and taking roll at the start of each meeting. Since he has an excellent memory that allows him to remember things down to the last detail, he doesn't need to write anything down. He's also the possessor of the A.I. Chi. Compared to the other council members, he is mellow and laid back.

  • Orphan's Ordeal - because he ran off while his parents weren't looking when he was at an amusement park, he became forever separated from his parent and eventually became adopted by another family. His biological parents are still searching for him.

Kaoru Segawa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kaoruicon_4352.png

Omega
"Indeed, this academic faculty is a blessing upon this generation for the creation of such a location that one may interact with another in such peaceful and favorable conditions... Is that wrong?"

  • Weirdness Censor - despite all the crazy and noisy chaos that goes on in the school on a day-to-day basis, he still thinks the school is wonderfully serene and peaceful.

    Guardians & Normal Students

Yukina Lee Pernilla
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yukinaicon_6164.png

Head Guardian
"...Care joining us for detention this evening, blood-sucker?"

  • Berserk Button: Try telling people that she's giving people free hugs and kisses. I dare you.
  • Childhood Friends: Along with Leif, hers are Shinjiro and Karma.
  • Cosplay: she was a samurai for the Cosplay event
  • Hair-Contrast Duo: With Eli and Akane, being dark and aloof in comparison to them being excitable and friendly.

Helios Kaikaris
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eliicon2_6508.png

Second In Command

  • Berserk Button- See his quote. Also, I dare you to call him a "leech" and destroy the scarf Yukina made for him in front of him.
  • Combat Medic- Often times, he is the main healer for the Guardians. Don't you dare get in his way, though.
  • Cosplay - he was a butler/waiter for the Cosplay Event
  • Crazy Jealous Guy - when it involves Takei even breathing in the same air that Yukina breathes.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass- Do not even prompt him to kick your ass.
  • Fake Twin Gambit- Pretended to be his own twin the night of the Halloween Event. Not like he wanted to, though.
  • Fedora of Asskicking- Not only does he have epic hat sense, he will kick your ass WITH his epic hat sense.
  • Launcher of a Thousand Ships - Eli has the most ships on the shipping list.
  • Life Meter- Sometimes he can read this.
  • Meaningful Name - his name means "sun" in Greek, and considering his bright and sunny personality, it fits him well.
  • Nice Guy- Unless you mess with something he treasures, like Yukina's scarf. Then Eli turns into practically a whole different person and you're just a bit fucked.
  • Real Men Wear Pink- Too bad other people don't think so. (The whole rumor about him being gay for Shinjiro doesn't help.)
  • Shipper on Deck- Supports Dio and Misaya, as well as numerous other pairings.
  • Scarf of Asskicking- Because Yukina gave him a scarf for Christmas, you can bet you'll see him wear it more often.
  • To the Tune of... - he sang his own Christmas-y rendition of Bella Notte at the Winter Ball.
  • Wrong-Name Outburst - in 1.0 of the RP, he accidentally called Kanami 'Leif' upon their first interaction.

Akane Sumiyaka
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/akaneiconn2_165.png

Guardian
"I don't care what you think you are. Nobody can wield this blade like I can."

  • Big Eater - Her appetite rivals that of Goku's.
  • Cosplay - during the Cosplay event, she was a turnip. Her costume is probably the most unforgettable one of all.
  • Fiery Redhead - Akane's hair can be seen from a mile away, and if you touch her katana...

Suzy Sabrina Schubert
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/suzy_1648.jpg

Guardian
"Now that I've finished talking about myself, get in, losers! We're going shopping!"
"Tough crowd."

Shopaholic and one of the Raishon Guardians. Suzy comes from a family of wizards/witches, but unfortunately does not have the ability to cast spells. Like Eli and Akane, Suzy is outgoing and energetic, but is a little more tame than them. Formerly, she was very bad at singing and even gained reputation for being the most terrible, tone-deaf singer at Raishon, but has since improved after receiving singing lessons from Eli. She's still not that great, however.

  • Giftedly Bad- she thought she was good at singing and ignored everyone who told her she sucked...until she heard herself sing.
  • Improvised Weapon - Possibly the most awesome water bottle scene ever.
  • In a Single Bound - her Enhanced Jump ability allows her to cover huge distances and scale tall heights with ease and without breaking any bones.
  • Love Interests - Souma, although it's most likely just her over-excitement of getting a date to the ball talking.
  • Motor Mouth - whenever she's overly excited or spazzing out about something
  • Not Quite Flight - her ability makes it look as if she's flying, but she really isn't.
  • Tsundere - Type B. She's nice and friendly on the outside, but can become hostile and lose her temper if the right buttons are pushed. So far, she's only lost her temper around Takeshi.

Student Council Member

Student Council Vice President and Photography Club Captain. She is mature for her age in that she takes initiatives and assumes responsibility whenever she can, and even gets mistaken for being older sometimes because of it. Her manner of speaking is usually soft-spoken and polite, and she hardly yells at anyone. Her hobbies are photography, reading, and gardening.

  • Claustrophobia- she fears tightly closed spaces, which is why she would rather take the stairs than the elevator, even if she has to go up several flights of stairs.
  • Cosplay - she was Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats during the Cosplay event
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Her mother is human whereas her father is an angel
  • I Believe I Can Fly - her half-angelic side allows her to sprout wings from her back and fly.
  • Meaningful Name - her surname translates to "Sound of the Heavens", which is fitting for a half-angel like her.

Momoko Ishiyuki

Student

A really shy girl who has and is trying to cope with her childhood selective mutism. But despite being shy, she also has an affinity for music and loves to sing as well as play the piano and violin. In fact, she feels more comfortable singing to people than actually speaking to them. She also enjoys sweets and baking.

  • Character Development - Very slightly. At the beginning of the school year, she was so shy that she'd run away from anyone who tried to talk to her. Now she can talk to a certain handful of people. She also doesn't run away when someone approaches her anymore.
  • Cosplay - She was a lolita for the Cosplay event
  • Cute Mute - She didn't talk to anyone except her parents and brother for the majority of her life. Now she speaks minimally and only when necessary.
  • Cuteness Proximity- She melts on the inside at the sight of anything she sees as cute.
  • Elective Mute- She only chooses to talk around certain people. For everyone else, she uses a notebook, although she's slowly progressing in being able to talk to more people.
  • Fear of Thunder - She's absolutely afraid of storms
  • Friendless Background - Up until her junior year, she barely had any friends except for that friend from elementary school whom she lost contact with.
  • Growling Gut - Her stomach coincidentally responded for her when Alf asked if she was hungry
  • Headphones Equal Isolation - although in this case, it's earphones. She plugs her iPod earphones into her ears at the beginning of almost every class and doesn't take them out until class begins or the teacher enters the room.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends - Her situation before her junior year. Then again, her personality made it very hard for her to make friends as she'd run away from anyone who tried to talk to her.
  • Inner Monologue- You, uh, tend to notice that everything sounds okay in her head. It's the talking that's the problem.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover- Although she doesn't own one, she gets all giddy upon seeing them. Heck, she has a couple reblogs of Maru the cat on her tumblr!
  • Last-Name Basis - refers to everyone by their last name unless they insist she call them by their first name or if she considers them a friend
  • Lethal Chef - Despite being so good at baking, she sucks at cooking.
  • Loony Friends Improve Your Personality - Thanks to Akane, Momoko is able to break from her shy shell a little.
  • Luminescent Blush - When she danced with Alf for the first time, simply because it was the first time in her life that she danced with a guy that's not her brother.
  • Meaningful Name - Her name translates into "Peach Child", and she was born in the month when peach blossoms are in bloom.
  • No Social Skills- Due to being shy, she practically lacks any social skills.
  • Oblivious to Love - She wouldn't even know if someone likes her unless they say it straight to her face.
  • Older Than They Look - She may be 17, but she looks 13-14 due to her short stature and petite frame.
  • Petal Power - She can grow flowers, create flowers, and use flowers as a weapon by sending an onset of razor-sharp petals at opponents.
  • Pink Means Feminine - Her favorite color is pink, especially cherry blossom pink and peach pink.
  • Security Cling - She took no hesitation in latching herself to Zyera upon Xanthe's return when he showed up in the music room

"Have you ever gone mountain biking down the Road of Death in Bolivia before? Crossed over the Musou Tsuribashi bridge? No? Then let's go."

An adrenaline junkie and thrill-seeking girl who lives for the thrills and adventures that life has to offer. She has engaged in activities such as rock climbing, white river rafting, ziplining, tobogganing, bungee jumping, skywalking, and crossing over bridges such as the one mentioned in her quote above that would give acrophobics a heart attack. Despite coming from a rich family, she hardly looks it since she dresses plainly and does not care for the luxurious things in life. She's rather aloof and keeps to herself most of the time, but will interact with people when necessary.

  • Black Market - her parents work in the undergrounds and sell counterfeit weapons and technology. They're secretive about it, too, and don't tell anyone what they do for a living.
  • Catchphrase - either "challenge accepted" or "bring it on."
  • Curious as a Monkey - better hide your gadgets if you don't want her breaking them apart to examine what's inside
  • Having a Blast - Saya has the ability called Molecular Combustion where she can speed up molecules of anything to the point where they combust or explode.
  • No Sense of Humor - she takes them too literally to find them funny
  • One of the Boys - she grew up in a family where she's the only girl among her four brothers, after all.

"Of course! You’re welcome, you dirty pervert! ♥ Remember that I’ll always love you until the end of time since no one else ever will~!"

Not the cat, but Xanthe's little sister. Although she seems completely different from him, she really isn't on the inside. She's insanely blunt to those she cares about, particularly Seigi, but also extremely sweet, even to those like Laurel who aren't all that approachable. She seems to have a little bit of an ego, although she doesn't flaunt it everywhere. Like her brother, she has a love for cute things that aren't exactly cute at all, such as a goblin shark, and like Laurel, has a love for spicy food that scientists should probably check out. Beyond her occasional slips of weirdness, however, a side of her that's calm as well as a bit suspicious of others.

She assisted Xanthe with the event that occurred during his two months of absence, and is now attending Raishon because of it.

  • Berserk Button - Don't mess with Laurel, Seigi, or her family unless you're kidding around.
  • Girlish Pigtails - Often puts her hair up in these to make herself look less intimidating, considering the colors of her eyes and her hair.
  • Hero with an F in Good - Sure, she can kick a bully's ass, but she'll likely hurt the victim in the process as well.
  • Little Miss Badass - Don't think she can't kick your ass... By accident, most of the time.
  • Love Martyr - While she harbors no romantic feelings for him yet, it's possible she cares about Seigi more than anyone else does, probably because she feels he's the only person she can definitely trust just because he is so troubled.
  • Killer Rabbit - In fact, she smiles and says polite, loving things when she's pissed.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname - Rarely is she actually called Eleanor, but she's called Elsie, Elle, and El-chan.
  • Pride - Says she's awesome, knows she's awesome.
  • Shout-Out - Her power is a shout out to Deadman Wonderland.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality - She's extremely sweet to anyone she's familiar with, but she can be a little distant and suspicious of strangers.
  • The Quiet One - You wouldn't be able to tell when she's around people she knows, but around strangers, she doesn't talk much.
  • Trademark Favorite Food - She loves spicy food, more than her best friends apparently. Goes to show just how cynical she really is.
  • Unfit for Greatness - Only because she's unaware she even has Blood Manipulation, however. It really does bother her that people—for some reason—start to be in pain when she's helping out with something.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes? - Touch is quite possibly the most difficult thing for a person to escape from, especially at school!

Seigi Okurei

Student
"If iTs wr0—ng i do/\/t wAn+ T0 b3 Ri Ght."

White Sheep of the Okurei family and formerly an expert on the research and study of abnormal abilities before his accident. Seigi is an overly perverted annoyance with a terrible voice, and manner of speaking. Despite this he is somehow friends with Eleanor and Laurel. When not actively engaging in his bad habits, he likes to build things in his spare time which never work out quite like he wants them too.

  • And I Must Scream - This smiling happy-go-lucky pervert is living a waking nightmare depending on how one looks at it.
  • Awesome by Analysis - His power allows him to instantly find out the weak points of something just by looking at it, but he can't do a thing about it due to that very same power.
  • Big "NO!" - What else is a pervert to do when they lost their material?
  • Can't Act Perverted Toward a Love Interest - Averted. Seigi has little to no qualms about being lecherous towards Eleanor, though he does get incredibly flustered if she appears to do the same. The same would go for Laurel, though if she ever started hitting on him, Seigi would say his prayers.
  • Can't Get Away with Nuthin' - Due to his power, he will never truly be happy or satisfied with his life, much less ever feel successful. To someone with his family, this is a good thing
  • Child Prodigy - Combined this with The Gift in his younger days. Seigi's natural affinity for science and technology is part of what made his family detest him. To a group of people who believe failure leads to success, being someone who is naturally successful without even a single mistake is utterly abhorrent.
  • Consummate Liar - Don't believe a thing this kid says.
  • Fridge Horror - His power. Imagine being unable to accomplish anything you want, and then trying to end it all only to find you fail at that too.
  • Gadgeteer Genius - Builds things in his spare time, like the two robotic rabbits Boke and Tsukkomi, they're failures though since they can't talk like he intended them too. Most of his other creations wind up the same.
  • Gone Horribly Wrong - His ability wasn't originally what it is now, it was an experiment he conducted on himself that made things worse.
  • Hell Is That Noise - His voice, shown by the way he talks in IC. He fails at communicating with others after all.
  • Unexplained Recovery - Don't ask how he'll suffer horrendous injuries yet seem completely fine the next time someone sees him.

  • Blessed with Suck - Although his power has much potential, it has three limitations: one, it is incredibly weak in the middle of the day; two, it exhausts him physically; and three, it feeds on his emotions and makes him more miserable.
  • Childhood Friends - "Friends" is exaggerating slightly, but there was a girl who always cared for him before he came to Raishon. He no longer knows what has become of her.
  • Dark Is Not Evil - He has the power to use dark orbs of energy and he is a rather negative person, but he is by no means evil.
  • Friendless Background - Except for one girl back in middle school whom he lost contact with, he has been perpetually separated from his peers and the world.
  • The Speechless - He has been mute since birth, and he has no idea why.
  • Undying Loyalty - He is not close to anyone, but he will never let down anyone with whom he has an obligation.

Office Assistant
"Raishon Academy’s full of weirdos…don’t tell my sister I said that."

Momoko's older brother and Raishon's part-time office assistant. His reason for working at his sister's school is so he could earn money to help pay off his university tuition and so he could watch over his sister. Besides working at Raishon, he also works as a sound technician at his university. Up until recently, he never knew that he had powers of his own like Momoko does. He's very protective of both his sisters.

As of currently, he is facing a very complicated ordeal which involves him being believed to be a robot.

  • Cassandra Truth - poor guy just can't convince Eli and Akane that he's not a robot.
  • Cross-Popping Veins - when Eli started singing "be a man" from I'll Make a Man Out of You while he was trying to explain that he's not his sister gone genderbent.
  • Dreadful Musician - despite coming from a musically-inclined family, he has no talent for music at all and will play any instrument he touches horribly.
  • Omniglot - one of his powers allows him to speak many foreign languages.
  • Shout-Out - his first name's a shoutout to Japanese actor Haruma Miura.

Mascot
"I'll just do all the hugging tomorrow."

The quiet and aloof mascot of Raishon, although not many know it's him inside the suit. While he tends to avoid people and looks intimidating, he's actually very polite and normally always willing to help. Not only that, but he's rather... different inside his head. It's a side most people don't see and don't want to see, but if anything cute is around, he won't be able to help but hug it with an entirely deadpan look on his face. He hasn't been wanting to open up or show people any side of him but his calm one as he believes he's someone who should be avoided and disliked. Briefly, he even considered staying at his home in the country just so people wouldn't need to deal with him.

Left Raishon for two months due to... certain complications.

  • Afraid of Blood - He has no problem seeing blood on others, but if he sees it on himself...
  • Bait-and-Switch Sentiment - If he says he loves you, don't think too hard about it. He loves everyone. Yes, even the people he has punched in the face.
  • Beware the Nice Ones - Punched someone in the face using his Manipulative Touch, and not the healing part of it. Imagine how much that one hurt.
  • Boy Band - He's in one named Hex 2, along with Eli, Xan, Shinjiro, and Seung-Hyo
  • Boxing Lessons for Superman - Oh, he knows how to use other things in creative ways other than his powers.
  • Bystander Syndrome - Assumed that the screams coming from students when they realized they were chained was actually a frat party. He didn't do a thing about it, though, instead thinking of the whole thing as annoying.
  • Cultured Badass - For the very rare moment he's being a badass, anyway. Most of the time he's just being a wuss.
  • Cuteness Overload - Tends to stare when he sees something/someone he thinks is cute.
  • Cuteness Proximity - While he was never entirely normal or sane to begin with, this one really proves it.
  • Elemental Hair Colors - He has white/silvery white hair that sort of goes with his Ice Mimicry.
  • Elemental Powers - He has Ice Mimicry.
  • House Husband - Although he's not forced to be one like Gabriel is. He just enjoys keeping himself busy. Unfortunately, he's not very good with kids, simply because he looks intimidating, then tries (and fails) to make himself out to be a nice guy.
  • I Can't Dance - Although except for what it says on the page, a "single scene" would turn into a whole plot arc. Have fun attempting to teach him, too.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang - Actually, he's not too different from Eleanor, but Eleanor likes talking to people and is fine with the heat, while Xanthias doesn't like either.
  • Side Effects Include... - He could put himself at risk of death from the lack of energy if he uses his Manipulative Touch enough.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality - One day he could be going around and hugging everyone, and the very next he could lock himself inside his room and refuse to leave.
  • Sweet Tooth - Hand him a doughnut and see what he does with it.
  • That Makes Me Feel Angry - He could potentially say exactly this in the future. But besides that, he does actually state how he feels sometimes, since he's not an easy person to figure out.
  • Technically a Smile - He doesn't smile often. Don't try to force him to, either.
  • Transhuman - Has a wonderful sense of smell, and his predictions of when something bad may (be) happen(ing) never seem to be wrong... Of course, he's not entirely sure if he's human, so those traits could be normal for whatever race he is.
  • Weaksauce Weakness - Let's just say he hates the summer.
  • What Could Have Been - Xanthias had previously been a guardian, before Raishon really existed. Considering how he's scared of injuries now, it's good that he isn't.
  • Why Won't You Die? - Felt this way about Saile for the extremely brief time he existed, and felt that way about Psi when he still had her around, after all his off-screen attempts to try to get her out of his head.
    • Now, he feels a lot more like "Why Don't I Die", however.
  • Wizard Needs Food Badly - No dreams for him is like no food for normal people, but he starves himself very often.
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz - His entire name sounds like it came right out of a fantasy book.

Eden

Who is this?
"I’m Eden. No one knows who I am because I have no friends and I’m invisible a lot of the time because I still can’t figure out how to work this damn power."

  • Anti-Humor - Whose jokes does he find funny? Yukina's. He doesn't get anything complex.
  • Bad Mood as an Excuse - If he were to destroy something in the school or raise his sword to someone, he'll say he was in a bad mood.
  • Blade Enthusiast - He has a collection back at home. He mostly likes looking at the hilt designs.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome - He'll go out of way to help people even when he's already overloaded with things to do. Even if he's sacrificing his life, he'll help.
  • Curtains Match the Window - Sort of. His eyes have a bit of an orange tint sometimes.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul" - As far as he's concerned, Eden is his only name.
  • Don't Make Me Destroy You - When someone tries to upset him (after he's done crying, of course), or when he catches someone doing something they shouldn't, he'll advise them to stop so he doesn't need to use Aleksander on them.
  • Dreadful Musician - He can't sing to save his life, and he would rather use the shamisen he got for his birthday as a weapon.
  • Easily Forgiven - It depends. He'll hold a grudge forever if he has his other personality. Otherwise, he does forgive pretty easily if it was something he sees as trivial.
  • Friendless Background - He's been at Raishon since the middle of his Freshman year and he still has no friends.
  • Friend to All Children - Too bad he's still awkward around even them and if he needs something to talk about, he'll only talk about Aleksander.
  • Fun with Foreign Languages - He knows how to say a lot of phrases or words from other languages, and will if he's nervous enough.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold - He acts as if he doesn't care whether anyone talks to him or not, but he truly is thankful, although he'll never say so. He also does some good deeds that might help students when no one notices (of course, no one notices him no matter what he does), such as leaving helpful books or notes in someone's locker so they can study it before a test.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness - Even with all the insanity around him, Eden has remained mostly unchanged by it all.
  • It Amused Me - Ask why he carved a frowny-face into the wall and he might respond with this. This, or he was in a bad mood and felt like it.
  • Katanas Are Just Better - His best friend is Aleksander, his sword.
  • Lazy Bum - Only when he's not wanting to train or help people.
  • Love Martyr - His crushes change about every week, so this is bound to happen eventually.
  • Musical Assassin - Who needs to tune a guitar when you can just smash it over someone's head?
  • Neat Freak - He sees cleaning up as something fun to do.
  • No Social Skills - Not that anyone could tell on Tumblr, but in person he speaks slowly, stutters, says a word before or after where it really should go, avoids eye-contact, fidgets, says something weird entirely, says something rude by accident, et cetera...
  • Ridiculous Procrastinator - If the homework bores him enough, he won't bother doing it.
  • School Is for Losers - He would like to learn, but he thinks that the way things are taught are boring, so he tends to skip classes. He would rather train in the meantime.
  • Shipper on Deck - If someone he has a crush on already seems close to somebody else, he'll ship them together.
  • Sleepyhead - Not as bad as say, Zyera, but he's still tired quite often. He'll fall asleep right in the middle of the street if he feels like napping there.
  • The Quiet One - He doesn't talk unless he has to, and he normally doesn't start conversations either.
  • The Prankster - With enough boredom, he'll "stoop so low" and do something ridiculous.

Gabriel Meirwen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gabetropeicon_502.png

Isabelle's Younger Brother
"Hahaha, wow, what a funny joke! Go fuck yourself with a knife."

The younger, unfriendly younger brother of Isabelle. While he tends to give off the vibe that he despises everyone's guts, he really doesn't. His behavior is only because he's even more irritable than Isabelle. Because of his attitude, he lacks friends but one best friend, Ryouji, and another friend, Alyse. Due to this, he tends to rely on his family when he wants to have a civil conversation. Most people don't think it's possible to have a "civil conversation" with him, but with enough persistence from someone, he'll actually warm up. Sure, it'll definitely take a while for him to admit someone's important to him, but he makes that obvious to someone once they reach that level.

Also a not-so-secret lover of gymnastics, technology, and gardening (in fact, it's because of Gabriel that Alf likes flowers). He attends an ordinary public school in Wales with Leilana and Ryouji.

  • Affectionate Nickname - He gives people these when he likes them enough.
  • Always Identical Twins - Although him and Belle aren't really twins, you can definitely be sure that they're brother and sister.
  • Angrish - People have gotten him this angry in the past.
  • Bad Mood as an Excuse - He often says he was in a bad mood as the reason to why he didn't do his chores. Everyone usually believes him.
  • Dull Surprise - If you compliment him on his looks or personality, he'll be surprised. Doesn't mean you'll be able to tell at all, though.
  • Hero with an F in Good - Gabriel wears that superhero blindfold, but he definitely doesn't act super.
  • House Fire - It's a surprise this hasn't happened to him yet; something always seems to be on fire when he's involved.

Typically, she does room inspection every two weeks to make sure the dorms are kept in order and that students aren't hiding anything that would break school rules. Although she has a bit of a lazy demeanor, she still does her job as best as she can. She's also the most flexible at Raishon by far, being able to bend over backwards all the way and touch her heels. With her extreme flexibility, she could have been a contortionist, but didn't want to because she doesn't want to perform in circuses.

  • Defrosting Ice Queen - if not for her brother, she would've still had her icy demeanor, although she still retains some of it.
  • Failed a Spot Check - she was completely oblivious to the Nargacuga destroying the walls on the second floor hallway, AND she was a few short distances away from it! Then again, she was too distracted by the mess in Harumi's room.
  • Ice Queen - she was this for a temporary amount of time after her older sister died in an accident one day

Teacher
"If I'm right, then you better super explode! If I'm super wrong, EXPLODE ANYWAY!"

Formerly Okurei Kihara, the world's leading expert in the study of the human brain and it's potential, he became an internationally renown criminal after an incident that involved a small foreign country ruled by a dictator. Who suddenly started indoctrinating the citizens with mind control technology designed and developed by him. Unpleasant things happened. An identity switch occurred, and Kyoichi Tadamitsu became the most recent addition to Raishon's teaching staff due to being in debt to the Headmaster.

  • Dead Person Impersonation - Subverted, the original Kyoichi Tadamitsu isn't dead, he just sold his identity.
  • Fantastic Science - He turned himself into a mind reading cyborg with knowledge and expertise of every form of combat known to man. Yeah, this applies.
  • For Science! - Why else would he allow his research to be funded by a clearly evil dictator?
  • Insane Troll Logic - Will try to reason away his actions so they can start with explosions and end with lobotomy.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac - The lovable is debatable, but just like his younger brother he has a love for women's backsides and tries to get Reika to Cosplay for their classes just so he can see her in different outfits.
  • The Power of Rock - Thoroughly believes that funk music is the best music.
  • Training from Hell - His classes. If it wasn't for Reika he'd be designing death traps that wouldn't look out of place in an evil overlord's lair.
  • Verbal Tic - Adds the word "Super" in every sentence.

"Why are all you guys chained up? Is it some kind of BDMS thing in this school? Don't tell me this is one of the those weird schools."
