Subpages cleanup: Complete Monster

Go To

During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.

Specific issues include:

  • Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
  • A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
  • Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
  • Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
  • Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.

It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Update: The new threads have been made and can be found here:

Please see the Frequently Asked Questions and Common Requests List before suggesting any new entries for this trope.

IMPORTANT: To avoid a holler to the mods, please see here for the earliest date a work can be discussed, (usually two weeks from the US release), as well as who's reserved discussion.

When voting, you must specify the candidate(s). No blanket votes (i.e. "[tup] to everyone I missed").

No plagiarism: It's fair to source things, but an effortpost must be your own work and not lifted wholesale from another source.

We don't care what other sites think about a character being a Complete Monster. We judge this trope by our own criteria. Repeatedly attempting to bring up other sites will earn a suspension.

What is the Work

Here you briefly describe the work in question and explain any important setting details. Don't assume that everyone is familiar with the work in question.

Who is the Candidate and What have they Done?

This will be the main portion of the Effort Post. Here you list all of the crimes committed by the candidate. For candidates with longer rap sheets, keep the list to their most important and heinous crimes, we don't need to hear about every time they decide to do something minor or petty.

Do they have any Mitigating Factors or Freudian Excuse?

Here you discuss any potential redeeming or sympathetic features the character has, the character's Freudian Excuse if they have one, as well as any other potential mitigating factors like Offscreen Villainy or questions of moral agency. Try to present these as objectively as possible by presenting any evidence that may support or refute the mitigating factors.

Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?

Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard

Final Verdict?

Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Alright, I've been stalling this writeup for too long. Here are my Witch Hunter Robin duos btw:

  • Witch Hunter Robin: Of all the people Robin and her companions had encountered, these two are the most monstrous:
    • Kazuma Kurata is a witch who kills people to prolong his own life. To this end, he murders other witches by draining their life-force with his bugs which resulted on their bodies getting shriveled into dust. It was revealed that he also murders other people in different countries consecutively for every 40 years in different countries. It was also revealed that he attempted to hack the Solomon Organization computer to gain more information on the Witches so that he could be immortal forever.
    • Seiichiro Aramune is a seemingly humble politician who established a non-profit organization for rehabilitating the children who are the victims of domestic violence. The truth however, is markedly different. It was soon revealed that Aramune and his cohorts uses said non-profit organization for a human trafficking ring by selling the children organs into overseas hospital. When got called out by one of the children, Aramune justifies his atrocities by saying that he tries to make the children in the rehabilitation better.

They're short I know but given they are One-shot villains, I'm going to give them a bit of a leeway so yep.

Just noticed that Ceasar Clown's entry calls "Vegapunk" "Vegapun".

Also, Doffy now has his own character page.

I remember it being very, very rare when a character had their own dedicated trope page. Now there are just so many that I've lost count. And so I stay on topic, yes to Uncle Bill. Definitely wasn't expecting another Akame ga Kill candidate after Esdeath didn't make the cut.

43: Got it.

HT: Please add to the Drafts.

[up] Hell, the MCU alone has 26.

ALSO: Final clock for Ultra Series image replacement.

EDIT: Also, since I'm creating a Silent Hill page this week, I won't bother submitting the Alessa rewrite with this week's batch; I'll just wait until I create the page.

I'll submit the films, since they're going both to the franchise page AND the main film page.

Here is writeup of Commander Gore from "Rise of the Magi":

Rise of the Magi: Commander Gore is a high ranking guard of the orb that contains all magic in the universe. Desiring more than being just a guard, Gore sells out magical essence of that orb to the Trolls. As guards, who become suspicious of him, caught him on the scene of the crime, Gore orders his monster minions to massacre them. When Asa Stonethrow came in possession of stolen magical essence and fled to Earth, Gore orders his minions to chase him there, where his monsters end up killing police officers, who tried to arrest them. Gore's crime resulted in flying castle, where orb was guarded, to start falling apart with falling peaces killing dozens of people. Later on Gore started selling weapons from Earth, like guns, to the Trolls, as they prepare to wage war on his people.

  • Aaron Landis from Devlin Waugh: Swimming in Blood.
  • Calamity Mary, even before she was chosen to become a magical girl, was an alcoholic named Naoko Yamamoto who abused her daughter in order to make herself feel powerful. Upon receiving her powers, she set about using her abilities to torment others for her own amusement. She forced her way into the Yakuza as a way to help out bad people and had no issue abusing and shooting her fellow magical girls when they didn't act submissive. When the magical girls were forced into a killing game, she embraced the conflict with glee. Eventually she escalated into attacking a highway and shooting dozens of civilians to watch the explosions and lure in her rivals, threatening to keep on killing unless she's stopped.
  • Witch Hunter Robin: Of all the people Robin and her companions had encountered, these one-shot characters are the most monstrous:
    • Kazuma Kurata, from episode 3 ("Dancing in Darkness"), is a witch who kills people to prolong his own life. To this end, he murders other witches by draining their life force with his bugs, resulting in their bodies getting shriveled into dust. He also murdered other people in different countries over several decades. He also attempted to hack the Solomon Organization computer to gain more information on the Witches so that he could be immortal forever.
    • Seiichiro Aramune, from episode 9 ("Sign of the Craft"), is a seemingly-humble politician who established a non-profit organization for rehabilitating children who are victims of domestic violence. The truth however, is markedly different. It was soon revealed that Aramune and his cohorts use said non-profit organization for an organ trafficking ring by selling the children's organs overseas. When got called out by one of the children, Aramune justifies his atrocities by saying that he tries to make the children in the rehabilitation center better.
  • BloodRayne (includes the first game):
    • Jurgen Wulf was a German World War I war criminal fascinated with the occult. Becoming the leader of the Gegengeist Gruppe, Wulf uses his position to seek out the parts of Beliar, the first devil to ascend to self-proclaimed godhood. He introduces himself having summoned the Queen of the Underworld and her offspring to infect and wipe out a whole town to get Beliar's rib. Later, when he discovers Rayne's friend Mynce was a Double Agent, he rips Mynce's heart out in front of Rayne. Returning in the comics, it's discovered decades later that Wulf was resurrected from Hell by what he calls "Saviours", ancient beings that far predate the universe, and denounces his past as a Nazi in their favor. Wulf takes over Red Blood Run, a Human Trafficking operation that abducted thousands of innocent people to forcibly experiment on them and turn them into vampires. This was part of a greater conspiracy in which Wulf infiltrates Brimstone with his "Saviours" in a plot to usurp God and sell out humanity as his masters subjugate all creation.
    • Dr. Bathory Mengele, aka "The Butcheress", is a particularly vicious member of the Gegengeist Gruppe and proud descendant of Elizabeth Báthory, continuing her "family tradition" of bathing in the blood of virgins. Growing a fascination with the parasitic Daemites, she keeps breeding them to further the GGG's plans, but mainly for her own amusement. Bathory callously feeds her soldiers to the Daemites, enthusiastically describing to Rayne how they horrifically infect and kill their victims, as well as her considering setting them loose on America. In the comics, Bathory reemerges decades after her seeming death as a treacherous ally to the Kagan Cult and master of an army of Nazi Zombies. When Rayne confronts her, its revealed that Rayne was one of many young girls and teenagers taken by Bathory to have their blood collected when Bathory realizes she's a dhampir and attempts to test a Daemite larvae on her, before gutting Rayne and leaving her to die.
  • Nightbreed (Boom! Studios adaptation): Reverend Ashberry turns out to be far darker than his portrayal in the film, even in light of his abrupt turn to evil. While initially sympathetic to the Nightbreed and their persecution, he develops a genocidal hatred for them when their god Baphomet scars him when he tried to reach out to the latter. In his secret past, Ashberry first murdered a hippie girl during a sexual encounter. Coming to the conclusion that it was God's will for him to cast sinners into Hell, Ashberry started a decades-long career in killing perceived sinners, mostly male and female prostitutes and the like. Arrested as a despondent drunk shortly before the film, after his scarring Ashberry started his new crusade by rounding up Berserkers to carry out his vengeance, disemboweling Boone and attempting to kill his pregnant girlfriend Lori. Failing to kill either of them, Ashberry returns in an attempt to wipe out the breed and their new home via suicide bombing them, with children in the vicinity.
  • Burning Paradise (1994): Lord Kung, warden of the Red Lotus Temple, is a horrifying, hedonistic sadist who has turned the temple into his own personal den of torture. Kung forces his prisoners into virtual slavery and sadistically kills them—be it through his traps, as subjects in duels to the death, or to paint with their blood—regularly enough to bloat the caves underneath the temple with hundreds of corpses, even decorating his temple with the bodies and bones of those who have transgressed him. Kung also rapes his own concubines for pleasure, murdering those he tires of and setting up their bodies as trophies and terrorizing his latest—Chou Chou—by ripping off the head of a servant to break her first before raping her on the spot, even promising to turn her over to the pleasure of his soldiers once he's tired of using her further. Kung gleefully drags everyone around him into the hell he's turned the temple into, with even his own loyal servants knowing they'll never be able to escape his cruel whims.
  • Ghost Squad (2018): Chikara Mase is an ultra-sadistic gangster with a love of making women suffer. As a teenager, he would kidnap and let his men rape and murder various women who cross his path, with his reasons being that they were seducing him and were asking for it. Coming across Reiko and her brother Akira, Chikara forces Reiko to watch Akira get beaten up and strangled to death before doing the same to her. Weeks later, he captured Akari and had his crew abuse and rape her before strangling her himself. After serving time in prison for Akari's murder, Chikara started abusing his daughter Yuri after his wife divorced him. Figuring out that Rika's the link behind the ghosts out to kill him, Chikara assembles his men and hunts Rika down with the intent of killing her.
  • The Hard Way (2019):
    • Arnold Briggs, aka Toro, is the leader of a Romanian drug organization. When an informant steals five million dollars from him, Toro and his enforcer Joe Vig torture and kill him. Toro later orders his men to find the money by any means necessary, even going as far as having a police officer and his entire family slaughtered. Obsessed over a woman named Lacy Love, Toro has Vig manipulate the death of her husband, Cody Payne, and forces Lacy to work in his organization, threatening to turn her sister into a Sex Slave if she tries to leave. When John Payne and Mason Bellows set up a meet with Toro, Toro nearly kills John and Lacy in a shootout as he tries to flee, showing no concern when his own soldiers are killed in the crossfire.
    • The aforementioned Joe Vig is a sadistic capo within Toro's organization. As he and Toro torture an informant working for Cody, Vig pulls out several of his teeth and sends a video of his death to Cody. He later films himself blowing up a prostitute and her pimp just to enrage Cody. When Cody tries to go after Vig personally, Vig kills an innocent woman before fatally shooting Cody. After discovering John was interfering with Toro's business, he kidnapped Sky, John's ex-girlfriend, and had Sky and a bartender killed in an explosion, all of which he recorded and sent to John's cellphone. When John confronts Vig, all he can do is smugly mock John over their deaths, telling them that "they were a blast".
  • The Killing of Satan: The Prince of Magic is Satan's top lieutenant on Earth, supervising a cult of Human Sacrifice so severe that it makes their mountain lair bleed. He is first seen confronting Miguel, a powerful hero out to stop him, and mortally wounding him. After learning that Miguel's nephew Lando has gained the power to stop the Prince, he kidnaps Lando's teenage daughter to marry her off to Satan, but not before molesting her himself. When he captures said daughter, he locks her in a deadly cage full of other women he's forcibly brainwashed into his cult via torture and rape. When Lando comes to rescue her, the Prince hinders him by having his sidekick's face ripped off by one of his loved ones, making her chest explode when she's of no further use to him.
  • Silent Hill:
    • Silent Hill: Christabella is the manipulative leader of the fanatical Brethren. An uncaring religious extremist, Christabella despised her nine-year-old niece, Alessa, for being born out of wedlock, having her condemned as a witch and using her position to encourage the other students at Midwich Elementary to bully and torment Alessa daily. Citing Alessa's rape at the hands of a school janitor as proof that the girl was "filth", Christabella took Alessa to the Brethren's sacrificial chamber and hung her over a bowl of hot coals, slowly burning her alive; the ritual failed and resulted in part of Silent Hill being destroyed by fire. After Christabella and the Brethren became trapped inside Silent Hill, Christabella continued to use their fear to keep them under her control. Believing Sharon to be the Devil's spawn, Alessa burned Cybil alive and was prepared to do the same with the little girl, forcing her sister Dahlia to watch everything.
    • Revelation 3D: Claudia Wolf is an albino fanatic who lacks her original counterpart's sympathetic qualities. The sister of both Christabella and Dahlia Gillespie, Claudia is a shapeshifting priestess, known as the Missionary, for The Order of Valtiel who desires to bring Heather back to Silent Hill and summon her enigmatic god to the human world. As an important figure within the cult, Claudia had her own father and a number of other people condemned to the Brookhaven Asylum to be lobotomized while also crucifying supposed traitors. Cutting a symbol into the chest of her own son as part of a ritual that would allow him to find Heather for her, Claudia murders a private investigator who had betrayed her and kidnaps Heather's father, forcing the girl to return to the town. When her son chose to side with Heather, Claudia spared him from being burned alive but instead sent him to suffer the same fate as his grandfather before him.
  • Spawn: Clown/Violator is as monstrous as his comic counterpart. The chief lieutenant of the devil Malebolgia, who sent him to Earth to start Armageddon, he's a revolting demon who gets off on violence and depravity, even at the expense of his allies. He makes a deal with black ops security chief Jason Wynn by offering him dominion of the world in exchange for creating a bioweapon that would kill most of humanity, after first having it tested on thousands of people. Malebolgia can then use the souls of the dead as his army to invade and destroy Heaven. Clown initially orders the death of Al Simmons/Spawn at Wynn's hands, recruiting Simmons after his return to Earth to lead Hell's army. He convinces Wynn to attach the virus to his heart rate after letting Spawn kill Wynn's top assassin, Jessica Priest, then manipulates Spawn into killing Wynn to release the virus. When this fails, the frustrated Clown tries to rape Spawn's ex-fiancée Wanda in front of Spawn while forcing him to watch, and promises that he'll slaughter the rest of his family—including Spawn's 4-year old daughter Cyan—when he's done.
  • Uchu Sentai Kyuranger: Episode of Stinger V-Cinema: Thunderbird is the Daikaan of Earth who manipulated a village into lynching a half-alien girl named Mika Retsu so he could convince her to join Jark Matter. Though feigning care for her, Thunderbird views her as expendable and attempts to sacrifice her to kill the Kyurangers. After having her slaughter everyone in her village to prove herself to Jark Matter, Thunderbird "rewards" her by painfully mutating her with the power of Don Armage, leading her to beg Stinger to Mercy Kill her. After Mika fails to defeat Stinger, Thunderbird shows up to finish her off, coldly telling her she is no longer useful to him.
  • The Elemental Trilogy: The Bane, originally Pyrrhos Plouton, is the Lord High Commander of Atlantis and the most powerful tyrant and mage the world has ever known. Afflicted with a deadly illness in his past, the Bane resorted to using taboo sacrificial magic to save himself at the expense of his close friend, a fate he would later inflict on his entire family. Conquering the mage world, the Bane spends centuries regularly sacrificing young elemental mages to prolong his life, in addition to bodyjacking people who closely resemble him when his original body falls out of use. When Iolanthe Seabourne's status as an elemental mage is revealed, the Bane becomes hellbent on capturing and sacrificing her by any means necessary. In his pursuit, the Bane wipes out hundreds of his own soldiers to prevent his use of sacrificial magic being revealed to the public; orders thousands of civilians in the Kalahari Realm put to death as a warning to the Domain; and tortures Prince Titus while inhabiting his father's body, stopping at nothing to extend his life beyond humanely possible.
  • Monsignor Javier Mendoza, from "Heart of Ice" and "Heart of Fire", is the former Grand Inquisitor of The Spanish Inquisition, notorious for "persuading" confessions out of victims. Imprisoning Henry in 1742, Mendoza tortured him for days on end, pushing him to the brink. Upon finding him gone and his devotee Maria had been turned into a vampire, he immediately drove a stake through her heart. Vowing to purge the vampires, Mendoza tortured the secrets out of a mystic before killing him, granting him "Iluminación del Sol", a weapon which upon attachment drives eight spikes around a vampire's heart, crippling them; as well as a ritual to extend his life. After over 250 years of hunting Vampires and draining their blood for the ritual, Mendoza arrived in Toronto. Having already captured Delphine Guillaume, whom Henry sired, he tortures her then, despite promising to release her, leaves her chained up so she burns to death upon daybreak. Mendoza murders a prostitute by draining her blood, framing Henry to manipulate Mike Celluci into believing Henry is dangerous. Tricking Mike into incapacitating him, Mendoza kidnaps and brutally tortures Henry, demanding Henry confess. When the broken Henry finally does so in an attempt to save Vicki, Mendoza refuses to accept his confession and traps her in an attempt to make the out-of-control Henry kill Vicki, just to further his suffering. Despite his claims of righteousness and devotion, Mendoza constantly proved himself to only be a sadistic, fanatical self-justifying hypocrite.
  • The Order: Edward Coventry, despite his charismatic and affable nature, is really an ambitious sorcerer willing to do anything to gain ultimate power. As leader of the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, Edward used his own members as he saw fit, treating them like disposable pawns in order to achieve his goals. When Edward learns that he may be able to construct the Vade Maecum Infernal and earn god-like powers, he forces the Order to focus solely on finding the book's pages, ignoring how dangerous it could be to create such a book. He has the Order sacrifice a group of civilians; instructs one of his minions to kidnap innocent people so he can turn them into monsters capable of destroying the Knights of Saint Christopher; and attempts to cajole his youngest son into being a sacrifice, similar to his wife. When Vera becomes wary of Edward's plans, he commands Alyssa to murder her just so she can't stop his schemes. Later on, after Edward is nearly finished completing the book, he tries to kill Jack Morton, his other son, and threatens to torture Alyssa if she doesn't watch despite her consistent loyalty to him.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Ego, Peter "Star-Lord" Quill's father, is an immortal Celestial, who once traveled the universe seeking companionship, but found that other life utterly disappointed him and lost any interest in them. Ego instead decided upon a plan of assimilating all creation into himself in what he termed "The Expansion". Lacking the power to do so on his own, he sired countless children, hoping they would inherit his Celestial powers, killing them out of disappointment when they didn't. Traveling to earth, Ego met Meredith Quill, whom he developed genuine feelings for. Unwilling to deviate from The Expansion, Ego gave her the brain tumor that killed her to ensure nothing held him back from his self-appointed purpose. After learning Peter might carry the Celestial gene, Ego tracked him down, playing the good father to him before revealing the true purpose of The Expansion, revealing his true nature when he believed Peter wouldn't care. When Peter turns on Ego, Ego enslaves him to his own power to use Peter as a battery for the next thousand years before kicking off The Expansion to consume every living thing in the universe, spitefully destroying Peter's Walkman which was a gift from Meredith and his last link to his mother. When Peter attempts to stop Ego, Ego tries to murder Peter's friends as well with no care.
  • Episode of Stinger V-Cinema: Thunderbird is the Daikaan of Earth who manipulated a village into lynching a half-alien girl named Mika Retsu so he could convince her to join Jark Matter. Though feigning care for her, Thunderbird views her as expendable and attempts to sacrifice her to kill the Kyurangers. • Rise of the Magi, by Marc Silvestri et al.: Commander Gore is a high-ranking guard of the orb that contains all magic in the universe. Desiring more than being just a guard, Gore sells out the magical essence of that orb to the Trolls. As guards caught him at the scene of the crime, Gore orders his monster minions to massacre them. Later on, Gore started selling weapons from Earth, like guns, to the Trolls, as they prepare to wage war on his people.
  • BloodRayne series:
    • First game and the comic series:

Becoming the leader of the Gegengeist Gruppe, Wulf uses his position to seek out the parts of Beliar, the first devil to ascend to self-proclaimed godhood. He introduces himself having summoned the Queen of the Underworld and her offspring to infect and wipe out a whole town to get Beliar's rib. • BloodRayne 2: Kagan is Rayne's father. A powerful Vampire Monarch, Kagan has a fascination with the Dhampir race and creates his own by raping human women to produce offspring before eventually killing every member of their maternal family and everything they care about, leaving them with nobody but Kagan himself to rely on. Kagan ended up working with the Nazis to further his own goals and killed Rayne's mentor and friend, torturing him by strangling him with his own intestines before the man used a grenade to destroy himself with Kagan, except Kagan had survived. Kagan uses a plan to blot out the sun and leave a vampire kingdom for himself and his kind, to rule as a king. Kagan displays no care for any other being, coldly informing one of his daughters her services are no longer required before having her thrown into a miles-long drop, and later mocks Rayne by declaring she's scarce worth the "effort I took to create it."
  • Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland: Madison Storm, blaming the whole world for his lonely childhood, decided to make everyone as miserable as he was by constructing Horrorland. Drawing ghouls from all over the universe to the park using a device called the Cosmic Monster Attractor, Storm has them terrorize and kill people while he records it for broadcast on the Monster Channel. Anyone who survives the park's deadly rides and attractions gets fed to beasts or drowned, with Storm at one point musing that his preferred victims are children, whose terrified shrieks and cries are music to his ears. After the Morris family and their friend Clay manage to make it out of Horrorland alive, the enraged Storm teleports them and the Player Character back to the park and subjects them to its latest horrors, all the while toying with them by pretending to be a benevolent Horror named Stump. Storm eventually reveals that he is holding Mr. and Mrs. Morris captive, and that he is going to make the children watch while he either crushes them or mutates them into Horrors. When Clay accidentally causes the Cosmic Monster Attractor to begin malfunctioning, Storm refuses to fix the device, instead deciding to let it meltdown so that the captured children and Morris parents will be blown up by it, along with the rest of Horrorland.
  • Nocturne: Count Voicu, the Big Bad of Act I, "The Dark Reign of the Vampire King", is the vampire master of Castle Gaustadt and tyrannical lord of its lands, having usurped and exiled his father and his followers. Spending centuries warring with his father, Voicu spent centuries persecuting and terrorizing the people he rules over, escalating things when werewolves stepped into the fight. Voicu has a reputation is stealing children from villages to feed on and creates monstrous slaves, while he takes young women to be his sex slaves. When the Stranger and Svetlana Lupescu arrive and find themselves in the middle of his war, Voicu takes a liking to Svetlana, hoping to use her Dhampir powers to his advantage, and begins to drive her insane to make a new bride out of her.
  • Spawn (SNES game): Malebolgia, the demon who created Spawn, is once again presented as one of Spawn's most insidious foes. Malebolgia manipulates an Angel with rumors of a weapon capable of destroying him. The Angel, quickly earning the name "The Mad One" among his peers, kidnaps 13 children and steals their souls, creating an orb of purity that is capable of destroying Malebolgia, but its use will cost the children their lives. The Mad One opens a portal to Hell to confront Malebolgia. After Spawn defeats the Mad One in an effort to save the children, Malebolgia takes the orb, revealing that he manipulated the Mad One so he would bring him innocent souls. Malebolgia then bonds the souls to his neural parasites and creates a giant demon called the New Breed, which he sends to Earth to feast on innocent souls.
  • Tzimisce, the eponymous Tzimisce Antediluvian, was by far the most inhuman of all the vampires both by an utterly alien personality and by the sheer depravity of his evil. Spawned from the second generation vampire Enoch, Tzimisce was fascinated by vampyrism and sought to achieve perfection through his own twisted definition of evolution. He created the discipline of Vicissitude, flesh shaping, which allowed him and his bloodline to shape their own physical form, but also defile other living beings by twisting their own flesh and bone into torturous forms. Secretly, the discipline also allowed him to possess and consume anyone of his bloodline, giving him true immortality. Tzimisce spent the following centuries perfecting his art by torturing countless humans and vampires, and is even said to have created the Baali bloodline by teaching them demon worship. While eventually thought slain, he secretly impersonated a vampire he slew until Gehenna finally arrived. During Gehenna, Tzimisce enacted his master plan by first devouring and fusing with the millions of people in New York City. He grew powerful enough to function as a disembodied spirit and possessed Tremere during his ritual to control humanity. Through the ritual, he fused with every living thing on Earth and turned them into abominations in his image, an act considered so unholy that God himself finally stepped in and destroyed Tzimisce forever.
  • Island Under Siege scarezone & "Maximum Carnage": In this alternate version of the Maximum Carnage storyline, Carnage proves to be as despicable and vile as his comic book counterpart, if not more so. After winning against Spider-Man and killing him, Carnage uses Shriek's psychic powers to drive the populace insane while he frees inmates and forms a cult-like gang in his service. He and his hordes of destructive minions then lay waste to the area, with Carnage killing any other heroes that attempt to intervene and putting their corpses on display. When guests arrive, Carnage uses them as living target practice for laser guns, sics his henchmen and several freed supervillains on them, and puts both them and his own henchmen in a nuclear reactor and exposes them to gamma radiation just for fun.
  • The Lost Boys: The Beginning: In the script written for the unproduced prequel of the original film, Vlad Tepsch is a legendary vampire king known as "The Impaler" for how he dispatches his victims. First arriving in America while butchering the crew of a ship he's aboard, after being mugged Vlad chases down the Lost Boys and begins to slowly turn them into vampires. Seeming to have their best interests at heart, Vlad helps make the boys rich and acquire ownership of a extravagant hotel, while killing random people all around him, from hotel guests, to a gang, to a unit of Marines. Later, Vlad reveals his intent to use the coastline of San Francisco to create armies of vampires and a worldwide empire for himself to rule over. When David tries to leave him, Vlad forcibly turns his girlfriend Anastasia Rostov into a vampire as a "gift", causing the girl to commit suicide out of terror, and makes it clear to the boys that he sees them as mere soldiers he can easily throw away.
Ultraman Neos
  • Mensch Heit ("Ultimate Evolution Emperor") is the Evil Overlord of Planet Zamu. Believing himself the Ultimate Lifeform chosen by the universe to embody its will, he would deem the Alien Zamu unworthy of life. Merging numerous other Dark Matter mutants into the barbaric Grall to exterminate them, he drove the survivors into exile on Earth. Finally tracking them down, he sends Grall to finish the job, who kills all but Esura. Not satisfied, Mensch Heit threatens humanity to share their fate if they don't hand him over. After Grall is killed, Mensch Heit attempts to finish the job personally, leveling a large part of the area trying to kill the Ultras. With them at his mercy, he attempts to burn Neos and Ultraseven 21 to death, forcing Esura to sacrifice himself and complete Mensch Heit's genocide. Despite his attempts to paint his victims as the barbarians, Mensch Heit proves himself a hypocrite at every turn.

Finishing up Rahxephon and I've got a few candidates to propose. For now, I'll be proposing the one who's much easier to explain. As for the standard for a mecha anime, we have a crazy and dangerous military man and this show it's Commander Masayoshi Kuki (pronounce as cookie).

What is the setting?

Rahxephon is a mecha anime release all the way back to January 2002. It's a story about Ayato Kamina, a "normal" student in Tokyo, Japan. After an attack in his city, Ayato encounters Reika Mishima, a mysterious girl who appears in her dreams who guides him to a mysterious room where he ends up summoning and controling the Rahxephon, a Dolem. He soon learn after summoning the Rahxephon by mysterious government agent Haruka that's Tokyo is actually separated from the outside world through a barrier, and is now named Tokyo Jupiter, the home base of the human-like dimensional beings called Mues, who are in war with the humans using Dolems, biological like mechs that uses otherworldly powers through singing. Liberated from the Mu with the help of Haruka, Ayato now begins working with her and her organization TERRA, a military force meant to fight the Mu, to stop the Mu and save humanity. One of these Mu happen to be former human military command turned turncoat Masayoshi Kuki.

Who is Commander Masayoshi Kuki and what does he do?

Commander Kuki is a former military general and superior of the leader of TERRA Jin Kunugi. During a bout against the Mu, Kuki ordered then subordinate Kunugi to launch a nuclear strike against the Mu. Knowing how many civilians will die from the nuclear strike, Kunugi was hesitant, but after being coerce did it. This killed thousands of people, including Kunugi's daughter Michiko.

Defecting to the Mu after getting up in Tokyo while the Mu took over and changed into Tokyo Jupiter, Kuki rose up the military ranks till he became the second-in-command of the government under the leader Maya. Resurfacing after the sphere around Tokyo was dissolve as part of their plan, Kuki leads the incoming invasion against the humans. Controlling the Dolem Largo, he orders the humans to surrender under the Mu. Proudly demonstrating the power of the Mu military by destroying a city and annihilating its citizens, he takes the Largo to invade the main base of TERRA even thought a majority of the force didn't show any resistance.

Arriving there after TERRA evacuated everyone except Jin Kunagi, Kuki decides to torment after realizing who he was. Communicating him through hologram, he first rubs to his face that while he made the order to do the nuclear strike, it was still Kunagi who activated the command, claiming he wasn't at fault. He also mockingly applauds Kunagi's bravery and demean him while destroying his defense force, leaving Kunagi near death after a fatal blow. Believing he won, Kuki stops the attack and insults Kunagi even more by proclaiming he's completely weak and useless to stop him. This backfires badly, because it leaves Kunagi enough time to activate a self-destruction system which would activate a miniature black hole to consume the area and kill both of them. Kuki after realizing what he's trying to do desperately tries to stop Kunagi, but was too late and end up being consume by the black hole.

Heinousness:

A selfish and egotistic military man who only cares about results, he has sacrifice numerous people for his own ambition, ordering the nuclear strike which killed thousands including his subordinates daughter, and does fully aware. After defecting, he became even worse, launching the invasion by destroying a city out of nowhere, and openly enjoying it. He's even one of the most cruel when it comes to a personal level, insulting Kunagi by claiming him as responsible for the death of his own daughter, even though it's clearly Kuki's fault.

Mitigating Factor:

Early on, he showed disaproval of the way Maya treated Ayato. However this quickly drops when Kuki reappears, where he was quick to kill and destroy even if it might include Ayato. It's also worth mentioning the only reason he didn't agree was because Ayato was very important for the Mu, since he was suppose to be the one to summon the Rahxephon which was needed for their ambition.

There's also his loyalty to the Mu, but that was only because they gave him the Largo. It's clear he only works with them for the power, never showing any personal interest or love to any of his fellow Mu, which almost all of them shows. Doesn't help that Kuki is a turncoat, clearly showing no loyalties at all, having killed both Mues and humans before.

Final Verdict:

An easy [tup]. Also we got a candidate named Commander Kuki (Cookie), let that sink in.

Well, they're honestly not that important as a topic of conversation, IMO. But yes to Kuki

Also, with how much space it's taking up on the Web Original section, I think we should give Critical Role it's own folder (not page yet though). Anybody else?

Also, do we propose quotes on this thread now? Here’s one about Djinn from Wishmaster

"Once, in a time before time, God breathed life into the universe. And the light gave birth to Angels. And the earth gave birth to Man. And the fire gave birth to the Djinn, creatures condemned to dwell in the void between the worlds. One who wakes a Djinn shall be given three wishes. Upon the granting of the third, the unholy legions of the Djinn shall be freed to rule the earth. Fear one thing in all there is...fear the Djinn."

This is about the legend of the Djinn. Also, more information needs to be added to the third and fourth films.

[up][up] I don't think that quote works, it's about Djinn as a whole not about the specific Djinn who qualifies.

[up][up][up]The Djinn from movies one and two (Demerest) isn't the same one that shows up in movies three and four which is why those actions aren't in his write-up.

Okay, let me try again on submitting quotes.

So, Jake, I see you've inherited your grandfather's peculiarity. You're just as annoying as he was. Speaking of Abe, if you should see him in the afterlife, give him my regards.
