Are Manhua/ and Manhwa/ (has own icon) distinct enough to warrant own Namespace? If not, they can be moved to ComicBook/ and Webcomic/.
There are so few pages for them, they can easily be listed in one post.

Most systems I've seen lump manhua and manhwa in with manga when they're not all categorized separately, so if you're going to merge Manhua and Manhwa in with Comic Books then why keep manga separate too?

And as I said, if there's ever anything that comes up to make merging manga a more manageable process, sure. I'll vote for doing that.
Rather than a terrifying manual find and replace operation of ridiculous scale.

I guess the only question I have on this crowner is...how in the world did the troperbase agree that Light Novel/ was redundant to Literature/ and should be merged, but it's not the same case with Manhwa/ and Manhua/ being redundant to Comic Book/, as in the troperbase is mostly against this suggestion?

Well... I've already kind of explained why. There's no other splits off from Literature/ (besides Fanfic/) but the comic mediums have already been split to hell and back. Basically, there's simply more justification for Manhwa and Manhua to exist. At least, that's my thought.

On day 6 rn, and yup, we still seem to be at a consensus to keep these namespaces
In the end, I won't complain if they stay, even if I think they don't need to be separate.
But now, I definitely know how to sort them in trope lists. I'll tell you guys once this crowner is called tomorrow.

Uh, I don't think this finishing means we have a definitive answer on how to trope it without discussion. It means we can go back to that thread now that the question about namespaces is answered.

Now I'm confused, should Korean Webtoons like Naver go Manhwa/ or Webcomic/? I've thought it's based on if it's printed or not. Hanguk Manhwa Aenimeisyeon are also classified as "abimated Manhwa" and go to Animation/.

They go in Webcomic as the original medium, that hasn't changed. The works at issue here are the ones that were print comics first.

You're correct in that we don't need reverse consensus. I said that we don't have it, no more and no less.
