The titular protagonist, a member of the "Flags of the World" NGO who was killed by the Monster Clan, but reanimated as "Condorman" by the Dragon Condor in order to defend the world from the Monster Clan's tyranny.
  • Cool Car: His sleek Mach Condor convertible.
  • The Hero: He's the titular "Symbol of Justice" and the primary figure fighting to stop the Monster Clan.
  • Feather Flechettes: One of his attacks is throwing his sharpened feathers.
  • Light Is Good: Clad in white with gold highlights.
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: One of his powers as Condorman is the ability to understand and speak the language of birds.
  • Super-Senses: One of his powers is his "Condor Eye", a super sight that allows him to see through the human disguises of monsters.

The leader of the Monster Clan.
  • All-Encompassing Mantle: Wears a black cloak that covers his entire body. You can't even see if he has arms.
  • Bad Boss: Not even dying is good enough for him, as he has those who fail him condemned to suffer in Monster Hell.
  • Big Bad: Leader of the Monster Clan and the one behind all of their schemes against the world.
  • Evil Overlord: He rules over a vast organization of monsters and seeks to conquer and corrode the world, so he's a natural qualifier.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He's voiced by Shozo Iizuka so naturally he has a deep, sinister voice.
  • Go for the Eye: His weak spot is his third eye on his forehead.
  • Karma Houdini: Despite being the most evil of the Monster Clan, he's the only member to evade being defeated by Condorman, instead opting to escape once Condorman discovers his weak spot. Right after he vows to build up a new army of Monsters and challenge Condorman again.
  • Monster Lord: He's the King Monster so obviously.
  • Multiple Head Case: He has three multi-colored faces, with two on either side of his head.
  • Satan: He may very well be the Devil, given his Lucifer-esque design, his desire to corrupt the world, and the fact that he appears to have control over Hell.
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: He's the leader of the Monster Clan and the only monster to lack any comedic traits.
  • You Have Failed Me: When Salamander flees from Condorman and contacts King Monster for help, King Monster instead opts to blow up the office building Salamander and Condorman are in to punish the former for failing.

The director of the Monster Clan's Far East Asia branch.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: His public identity is that of a wealthy businessman.
  • Creepy Long Fingers: The fingers attached to his right hand are very long.
  • Diabolical Mastermind: As the Monster Clan's Director of Far East Operations, he's the brains behind Operation: Japan Hunger and the one in control of the Monster Clan's criminal schemes throughout Japan.
  • Dirty Coward: The moment Condorman gains the upper hand in their duel, he flees the scene and goes pleading to King Monster for help. King Monster is less than amused.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Probably the most hammy of all the villains in the series, which is really saying something. He's even hammy in his human form.
  • The Heavy: He's at the head of Operation: Japan Hunger and the one behind most of the foes Condorman fights for the first half of the series.
  • I Have Your Wife: Takes this to a truly exaggerated degree in episode 13, kidnapping Isshin's entire family and every child he befriended just to lure him out.
  • Large Ham: What else would you expect from a villain played by Ulf Otsuki?
  • Laughably Evil: Even at his worst, he's so over-the-top that he's never too serious to find fun.
  • Lizard Folk: He's a humanoid salamander-man.
  • Multiple Head Case: He has a second head attached to his belly.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He has a preference for fancy suits in his human guise. He even sometimes wears them in his true form.
  • Unholy Matrimony: He becomes infatuated with Madam Barbe Q once she joins the Monster Clan and repeatedly tries to court her.

The executive initially assigned to oversee Operation: Japan Hunger.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Condorman tears off one of his arms during the course of their final duel.
  • Arc Villain: He's the villain for the first four episodes, before being defeated at the start of episode 5.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: In his human identity he's the CEO of the Kimon Company, which is really a front for the Monster Clan.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: His human form wears glasses.
  • I Have Your Wife: After Condorman repeatedly thwarts his plans, he resorts to targeting his family. This proves to be a very big mistake...
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: He has two extra arms attached to his head, and a hidden one stretching out from his abdomen.

A candidate for the Monster Clan's executive board and the twin sister of Gemsler.
  • Arc Villain: The antagonist of episodes 5 through 8, taking over Operation: Japan Hunger following Gametsku's defeat.
  • Composite Character: The manga combined her with her sister Gemsler, making Red Bat the secretary to Salamander instead of her and giving her her human alias.
  • Cute Monster Girl: She's the most beautiful and human-looking of the monsters, being the only monster to be portrayed by someone in makeup as opposed to a rubber suit.
  • Irony: Red Bat likes beautiful things, even though she's a monster who's part of a group bent on polluting the world.
  • Praetorian Guard: She has her own corps of custom Majin Combatants adorned in her colors.
  • Winged Humanoid: She has two gigantic wings attached to her back, going along with her whole bat motif.

A coin-themed monster who is one of the Monster Clan's executives.
  • Breakout Character: The most popular of the monsters, to the point where he was even brought back 44 years after the show ended to do commercials for DOCOMO.
  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": He has a giant Yen symbol on his chest.
  • Corrupt Politician: His human identity is Kuroi, Japan's Minister of Food, a position Zeni uses to aid Salamander in Operation: Japan Hunger.
  • Greed: Represents this, given his money motif and the fact that his guise is a Corrupt Politician.
  • Mole in Charge: Serves as Japan's Minister of Food while secretly working towards the Monster Clan's scheme to cause food shortages in order to weaken the country.
    Oil Snake

A Middle Eastern-themed snake monster. Later replaces Salamander as Director of Far East Operations.
  • Arab Oil Sheikh: Dresses like a Middle Eastern sheikh in his monster form, going along with his whole oil motif.
  • Arc Villain: The villain of episodes 15, 16 and 17, which revolve around his "Operation: Japan Burning" scheme.
  • "Ass" in Ambassador: His human identity is the ambassador of a Fictional Country in the Middle East.
  • Beard of Evil: Has a distinctive beard in his human guise.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Compared to Salamander before him, Oil Snake is much more serious and ruthless of a villain.
  • Snakes Are Sinister: He's a humanoid snake monster and high-ranking member of the Monster Clan.

A mariachi-themed smoke and smog monster who is one of the three "Grand Executives" of the Monster Clan.
  • Balloonacy: His preferred method of travel is by hot air balloon.
  • Co-Dragons: He, Gomigon and Hedoronger are the "Grand Executives" who only answer to King Monster and act as his top enforcers.
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: He smokes a lot, tying in with his whole smog and air pollution motif.
  • Land, Sea, Sky: The three Grand Executives each represent a different kind of pollution, with Smogton embodying air pollution.

  • Muck Monster: He's a monster made up of human litter.

  • Co-Dragons: He, Smogton and Gomigon are the "Grand Executives" who only answer to King Monster and act as his top enforcers.
  • In the Hood: Wears a black cloak over his entire body.
  • Muck Monster: Much like a more famous example, he's a monster whose body is made up of sludge.
  • Pre-Final Boss: He's the final monster Condorman has to face before he can fight King Monster.

  • Cute Monster Girl: She starts off as one, like her sister, but it's subverted when she undergoes a rage-induced transformation that makes her monster form appear more ugly.
  • Evil Wears Black: Wears black clothes in her human form.
  • Green and Mean: Following her transformation, her monster form's skin becomes green.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Compared to Red Bat she's much more straight-laced.
  • Secretary of Evil: The Monster Clan's secretary and liaison for both King Monster and Salamander.
  • Significant Double Casting: Played by the same actress as her twin sister.

  • Evil Genius: He's the one who designs the various machines, bioweapons and other tools of destruction the Monster Clan uses.
  • Mad Scientist: It's in the name, though personality-wise he's one of the more restrained members of the Monster Clan.
  • Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: A scientist who uses his genius to aid the Monster Clan in their destructive goals.
  • My Brain Is Big: He has a very large cranium, although as a robot, he doesn't have a literal brain.
  • Robotic Reveal: Turns out to be a robot upon his defeat.
  • Wind-Up Key: Has one protruding out of the left side of his head. He can crank it to increase his intelligence even further.
    Sadler

A metal robber baron-themed monster serving as an assassin for the Monster Clan.
  • Professional Killer: One of his duties in the Monster Clan is to assassinate people they deem threats, including the Deputy-Secretary General of the UN in the first episode.
  • Quintessential British Gentleman: Designed after a British gentleman, complete with a top hat.
  • Railroad Baron: Definitely has this vibe, given his choice of clothing and industrial motif.
  • Sadist: Really enjoys killing people.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Only appears in the first episode, but it was him killing Isshin that led to him being reanimated as Condorman.
  • Starter Villain: He's the first member of the Monster Clan Condorman fights in the series, as well as the one responsible for his death in the first episode and subsequent transformation.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: He has the shortest run of any Monster of the Week in the series, lasting just one episode.
    Barbe Q

A pig-themed monster and henchman of Satan Gametsku.
  • The Dragon: Satan Gametsku's bodyguard and muscle.
  • Pig Man: He's a humanoid pig monster created from a pig being exposed to pollution.
  • Punny Name: "Barbe Q" = "Barbeque"
  • Unholy Matrimony: It's revealed much later he has a wife, "Madam Barbe Q", who comes to avenge him after he's killed by Condorman.

A portly cockroach monster assigned to work under Red Bat.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: He's an oversized cockroach.
  • Fat Bastard: Fat in both his monster and human forms.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: He doesn't get along with his boss, Red Bat, as she prefers pretty things and detests having to work with him given his slob behavior.
  • Villainous Glutton: Loves eating, which the Monster Clan makes use of by having him eat up food before it can go to Japan.

    Coinmar

  • The Dandy: Dresses in very colorful clothes.
  • Torture Technician: Zeni Crazy's go-to guy for when someone needs to be tortured.
    Madam Barbe Q

The wife of Barbe Q who comes to Japan to avenge him.
    Gillamen

A goblin-esque monster acting as Oil Snake's right-hand.
  • Armies Are Evil: Gillamen represents militarism, with his human guise being an army officer.
  • Colonel Badass: His human identity is a colonel in the military of the Fictional Country Oil Snake is posing as the ambassador for.
  • The Dragon: Oil Snake's top henchman.
  • Fangs Are Evil: He has two noticeable fangs protruding from the top of his mouth.
  • Green and Mean: Green-skinned and an evil monster.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Condorman blows Gillamen up using the very same dynamite Gillamen and Oil Snake plotted to use to blow up the freighter they were on.
    Majin Combatants

The soldiers of the Monster Clan.
  • Faceless Goons: They wear masks that cover their entire heads.
  • Mooks: The grunts the Monster Clan uses to carry out its goals.
  • Putting on the Reich: They wear helmets resembling those worn by soldiers of the German Army in World War II.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: The ones serving under Red Bat wore special red and black uniforms as opposed to the green ones worn by regular soldirs.
  • The Usual Adversaries: Whenever Condorman goes to stop an evil plan by the Monster Clan he can expect to encounter these guys.
