  • The Chainsmokers - New York DJ duo who first made their name known with the novelty dance song "#SELFIE" before reinventing themselves to become one of the biggest stars in EDM.
  • The Chemical Brothers - Production duo from England, forming in 1991. They're one of the most popular electronic music acts of the '90s and '00s and continue to tour today.

  • DJ Shadow - Instrumental Hip Hop producer who dabbles with electronica. Popularized sampling with his debut album, Endtroducing......
  • DROELOE: Future bass duo from the Netherlands and part of the Bitbird crew. Glockenspiels and golden skulls appear in their work with frequency.
  • Electronic - Eurodance superduo composed of Bernard Sumner from New Order and Johnny Marr from The Smiths.
  • Ellie Goulding - British pop singer who is known for her signature mixture of pop, electronic and folk.

  • Lindsey Stirling - Uses dubstep with violins. Easily one of the most respected dubstep artists.

  • Madeon - French electropop wunderkind known for making pop-influenced nu-disco.
  • Major Lazer - A project of Diplo made with the purpose of combining dancehall with EDM.
  • Markus Schulz - German trance artist. Also known as the Unicorn Slayer, he's most known for composing darker trance that rests on a minor chord.

  • Nero - One of the most acclaimed acts in brostep, though they would later commit a Genre Shift towards electro house with their second album, Between II Worlds.
  • Noisia - Far and away one of the most influential drum and bass acts of all time, they are a Dutch trio who are known for their signature buzzsaw sound, rock-bottom heavy beats, and their fearlessness over experimenting with new ideas.
