NOTE: Since this is an ongoing series, the original line-ups for the groups on the separate pages have been used for the character pages to avoid confusion for newcomers.
Overland Park
Lunch lady at Overland Park High, she is absolutely obsessed about Cameron Van Buren and worships the girl. Cameron considers her "totes creep" and has a restraining order on her.
- Abhorrent Admirer: Mostly towards Cameron Van Buren, but no one else is safe. She could give Wendy Oldbag a run for her money.
- All Women Are Lustful: Seriously, that woman's constant emotion is "horny". Don't expect her to appear in an episode without slipping in at least one sexual comment or desire to have sex. She even gets off on a painting of The Mona Lisa!
- Casanova Wannabe: Regularly hits on people besides Cameron, with no success.
- Catchphrase: "Ah, goddamn it!"
- Deadpan Snarker: Has her moments.Lunch Lady Belinda: [to Blaine and Saison] The babies you are going to make tonight are going to be so stupid.
- Depraved Bisexual: The woman has a rather disturbing obsession with Cameron Van Buren. As of episode 19, it's revealed that her sex-crazed behavior isn't just reserved at women, as she tries to hit off on the producer of "Babes With Babies" (with no success).
- Dirty Old Woman: Her insinuations that Trisha and Matthew Derringer are going to have sex and the rather creepy laugh that follows leads extra credence to this.
- Ephebophile: Not just with Cameron, but Belinda seems very much attracted to teenage girls. At one point Cameron asks her "Don't you have an amber alert you should be running from?!"
- Everyone Calls Her "Barkeep": Downplayed. Her name is Belinda, but everyone adds "Lunch Lady" in front of her name when speaking or referring to her.
- Extreme Libido: In case that wasn't clear enough already.
- Fangirl: Of Cameron Van Buren. Later of Deandra after she becomes famous.
- Fan Disservice: In-Universe and Out, when she wears "sexy" outfits. People puke in their own mouths from the "sexy" things she says.
- Freudian Excuse: In her MPGiS app-exclusive blog post, "What Art Means", her commentary on American Gothic (by Grant Wood) implies that she had an abusive mother and a submissive father.A longtime favorite of mine, since childhood reality.
- Gonk: How she's seen In-Universe.
- Got Me Doing It: Following Blaine and Saison constantly quoting old love songs and denying they're doing so...Lunch Lady Belinda: Ugh, you give love a bad name. (beat) Ugh, now you've got me doing it!
- Informed Deformity: She's seen as being an ugly disgusting old woman, yet her doll is still Mother Gothel from Tangled, who is in no way unattractive, and wears neat eyeshadow makeup.
- Lethal Chef:
- The food that she cooks and serves is made of mostly sawdust and rat meat. She also serves melted-down otter pops, which the students apparently love.
- Her organic sweet potato wedges are enough to make Deandra gag.
- Loony Fan: She always goes Squee when she sees Cameron Van Buren. Cameron is very disturbed and repulsed by her, even ordering a restraining order of 800 yards on her.
- Only One Name: She's known as "Lunch Lady Belinda", with no clue of her last name.
- Masturbation Means Sexual Frustration: The fact she masturbates on a daily basis surprises... no one. In Season 5, she tries to sneak in a dildo on the plane, and when they confiscate it she grumpily states she "has nothing to do for the next 10 hours".Lunch Lady Belinda: [doing a cheer routine] 2, 4, 6, 8! This is how I masturbate!
- Naked People Are Funny: Her goes on Cheer Squad tryouts wearing a dress that is too small for her, which fully exposes her vulva to the team. Brittnay vomits offscreen.
- Plucky Comic Relief: Expect a scene to instantly be lightened up whenever she comes in.
- Pop-Cultured Badass: She's able to recognize when Blaine is ripping off Lou Gehrig's retirement speech, as well as knowing when Blaine and Saison Marguerite are stealing lines from old songs.
- Stalker with a Crush: Cameron Van Buren surely put a 800 yard restraining order on her for a reason.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: She comes back from France with a new boyfriend (Jacques the waiter) by her arm.
The school janitor of Overland Park High.
- The Bus Came Back: He finally returned in episode 53 to clean up after the mess, Deandra, Trisha and Lunch Lady Belinda made delivering Saison's baby in the cafeteria. He also makes another brief cameo, in Episode 66.
- Cloudcuckoolander: He speaks to poop as if it was alive.
- Crusty Caretaker: Played with. He actually seems like a decent guy, as he's on First-Name Basis with Trisha, but he's very... special in terms of personality.
- Dreadlock Rasta: His hairstyle. Makes sense considering he has a Jamaican accent.
- Intergenerational Friendship: Implied to have one with Trisha.
- Funny Foreigner: Has a Jamaican accent and talks to feces as if it could talk bad.
- Serious Business: Keeping the toilets clean.
- Small Role, Big Impact: He's the one that tells Trisha about the positive pregnancy test, triggering the event of Episode 14.
Tanner's boyfriend. He attends a different school, but pops in every now and then, especially after he strikes up a friendship with Brittnay.
- Affectionate Nickname: Brittnay calls him "Tristee".
- Brutal Honesty: "Oh, honey, because you're gayer than Perez Hilton's asshole."
- The Cameo: Makes his in Season 5's Episode 9.
- Camp Gay: He's flamboyant and appearance-focused, almost to the point of parody, and yeah, he likes the dudes.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: Downplayed, as he's more of a "Clingy Jealous Guy" than anything; he gets whiny and pouty when he thinks Tanner shows interest in other people, cheats on him or flirts with other boys (even though Tanner is loyal to him and strictly monogamous). Although he did slap both Than and Tanner when the former kissed the latter.
- Effeminate Voice: Part of being Camp Gay.
- Freak Out: Has one when he learns Tanner (supposedly) had sex with Than.
- Gay Best Friend: To Brittnay.
- Gay Guy Seeks Popular Jock: A successful example. His boyfriend, Tanner, is the quarterback, and is very popular at Overland Park. It's implied Tristan himself is quite popular at his own school.
- Insult of Endearment: He and Brittnay use "bitch" and "slut" as affectionate nicknames.
- In Touch with His Feminine Side: Loves shopping, the color pink and even calls himself a "lady" on some occasion.
- Keet: Very cheerful and energetic.
- Lovable Sex Maniac: Emphasis on the lovable part."No thanks, I enjoy [the letter] P! Like penis! Get it? I'm adorable!♪"
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Platonic version; the Feminine Boy to Brittnay's Masculine Girl.
- Morality Pet:
- To Brittnay. He's one of the few people she's never cruel to.
- Say what you want about Shaw, but he obviously loves Tristan and is protective of him.
- Nice Guy: Annoying, but nice. Even when he was rather understandably pissed when Than kissed Tanner, he got over it relatively quickly and gave him some advice on where to find people to make out with.
- Odd Friendship:
- You wouldn't expect him and Brittnay to get along, but you'd be wrong. Despite Tristan being cheerful, friendly, and generally quite pleasant, and Brittnay being... Brittnay, the two hang out quite frequently, and Brittnay goes to him for advice sometimes.
- It's one-sided, but he also took a liking to Bridget Tice.
- Offscreen Teleportation: Manages to run (maybe) all the way from Blue Valley to Overland Park when he found out that Tanner was making out with someone.
- Protectorate: To his cousin Shaw, who is incredibly protective of him.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red to Tanner's Blue.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The Sensitive Guy to both Tanner and his cousin Shaw's Manly Men.
- Signature Laugh: A cute, naughty giggle.
- Sweet Tooth: "You see how there's three pieces of cake missing from the cake table? All me!"
A medical doctor who treats both Jayna and Mackenzie for various issues.
- Deadpan Snarker: "Okay, first of all, unless you gave birth to a hammerhead shark, you did not have a sixteen-month pregnancy."
- Dressed to Heal: Wears a white lab coat with the name "Dr. Cullen M.D" on it.
- Labcoat of Science and Medicine: As stated above.
- The Medic: The doctor of most of the main characters (such as The Van Burens and Mackenzie).
- No Name Given: "Dr. Cullen" isn't his official name, but it's on the toy coat he wears, since the outfit apparently belonged to a Carlisle Cullen doll originally.
- Only Sane Man: His patients would lead any good person off the wall, but keeps his professionalism to a tee.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: He's dry-witted and exasperated by his patients' idiocy, but does his due diligence in helping them. When Mackenzie freaks out because she's losing her hair, he's understanding and tries to calm her down before telling her how she can fix things.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Well, just look at his patients.
Owner and head of the Jeannie Halverstad Modeling Agency, Jeannie is an incredibly hostile, foul-mouthed woman who treats her employees and models like total shit, but to the public seems sweet and professional. In season 2 she co-judged Cheer Nationals, and in season 5 is coaching the American teen modeling team.
- Anti-Role Model: Her real personality. Despite that, only Mackenzie still genuinely respects her.
- Asian Rudeness: The doll used to portray her is Asian, and, well... just look at her tropes.
- Bad Boss: Is absolutely horrible to her employees and assistants, and once went on a rant screaming at one of her models about an abortion the poor girl had and how she "fucked that poor little baby who just wanted a life."
- Berserk Button: If you get one detail of her coffee order wrong... just run.Jeannie: How hard is it to understand the difference between fucking hazelnut and motherfucking caramel? How hard Angie? How fucking hard?
Angie: Well, you know you actually—
Jeannie: It was a rhetorical question you stupid little pube. - Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: When she first appears she's soft-spoken, energetic, and professional, but off-camera she's incredibly foul-mouthed and nasty.
- Broken Pedestal: Becomes one to Mackenzie when Jeannie is caught helping out the French models in Episode 78.
- But for Me, It Was Tuesday: In Episode 72, she doesn't even recognize Mackenzie at first, despite clearly talking with her on the phone the episode right before, and having met her at Cheer Nationals many episodes before that.
- Dissonant Serenity: She casually tells her own team that they're unlikely to win the competition when she's caught helping out Team France.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Gets angered pretty easily, and doesn't try to hide it off-camera.
- It's All About Me: The fact that she's having trouble finding replacements for the American modeling team pisses her off because she's taking it as some personal attack directed towards her, calling her original models "Ungrateful cunts" and saying that "God fucking hates me."
- Jerkass: Behind the cameras, she's a huge unpleasant and haughty bitch.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Helping the French team instead of her own was cruel, as was her comment that her team was unlikely to win anyway, but from a professional standpoint, it makes sense that she'd want to make nice with potential future clients.
- Lady Swears-a-Lot: When the cameras aren't pointed at her, damn does she need to wash that mouth with soap.
- Laser-Guided Karma: She opts to help the French team because she figures they're the likely winners, and she'll want to represent them if possible. This gets her kicked off of Team USA altogether, which then bites her pretty hard in the ass since they win, and she's thoroughly burned that bridge.
- Nice Character, Mean Actor: Onscreen, she's a cheerful, polite picture of professionalism and femininity. Offscreen, she's a foul-mouthed, abusive bitch.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers a calm yet totally scathing one to Cameron Van Buren that deconstructs Cameron's life and how staying for Team U.S.A. will be far more fulfilling than getting constantly fucked by her college professors and groups of frat boys; Cameron, who is usually pretty good at comebacks, is left stammering.
- Tranquil Fury: Is surprisingly capable of this too. See her "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Cameron above.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Well, she was the one who revealed to Team USA that the drinking age in France is 16.
France
The most successful teen model in all of Europe, and the leader of The French Modeling Squad.
- Alpha Bitch: Even moreso than Mackenzie.
- Ax-Crazy: Broke Brittnay's leg and was about to kill her, Mackenzie and Deandra with a gun if not from Liam Neeson's intervention.
- Bad Boss: Outright yells at and slaps one of her teammates when he lands second place in Couture, to the point of making him cry.
- Big Bad: Of Season 5.
- Boom, Headshot!: Her fate, at the hands of Liam Neeson. Perhaps she would've avoided it if she didn't kidnap his daughter.
- Brick Joke: Her tiny puckered lips, who are constantly mocked by Brittnay and Mackenzie.
- Didn't Think This Through: She and Team France really should've known better than to attempt to torture Deandra with tons of food.
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: She's the main antagonist of Season 5, and she has jet black hair and white porcelain skin, which brings out her Nonstandard Character Design.
- Evil Counterpart: To Mackenzie.
- Evil Wears Black: Her main outfit is a Little Black Dress.
- Force Feeding: Her way to torture her victims.
- French Jerk: Not only is she a haughty bitch who looks down on Team USA, she and her team kidnap models and force them to become fat in order for them to win.
- Going Commando: Episode 72 reveals that she doesn't wear panties.
- Gratuitous French: A given.
- Hypocrite: States Americans are vulgar, yet she shows them her vulva (while mocking them, but still, no one asked her to) and isn't above swearing either.
- Karmic Death: Kidnapping and force feeding innocent models, and later trying to kill the main characters result to her death. Also, what did she expect kidnapping Liam Neeson's daughter??
- Killed Off for Real: In Episode 81.
- Nonstandard Character Design: She's a Silkstone Barbie.
- Obviously Evil: Her large eyes and small puckered lips make her look ominous. Not only as the rivals of Team USA, but also as crazy kidnappers who force eat their victims in order to cheat their ways to the top.
- Oh, Crap!: She has a hilarious one in Episode 80 when she sees that their torture methods don't work on Deandra due to her nearly eating all the food.
- They Know Too Much: Once her and her minions are being beaten by Mackenzie, Brittnay and Deandra, she points a gun at them in order to never let anyone know what happened in her secret basement. Thankfully, Liam Neeson gets rid of her and Team France saves the girls in time.
- Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: Of the Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette variety.
- The Sociopath: Kidnaps models and forces feed them for the thrill of it.
- Teens Are Monsters: She's a teen model, and also a French Jerk and psychopath.
The enforcer of The French Modeling Squad.
- Ambiguously Gay: Her loyalty and protectiveness of Juliette makes one wonder if the two are more than just partners-in-crime.
- Berserk Button: Anyone insulting Juliette. The latter states she's a bit overprotective.
- Beta Bitch: To Juliette.
- Boom, Headshot!: Her fate, at the hands of Liam Neeson.
- The Dragon: Again, to Juliette.
- Evil Counterpart: To Brittnay.
- French Jerk: A haughty French Beta Bitch.
- Gratuitous French: A given.
- Psycho Lesbian: Implied to be one for Juliette.
- Satellite Character: Exists to be Brittnay's Evil Counterpart and Juliette's Beta Bitch.
The other two Team France captains. Chloe is implied to be the older twin.
- Ambiguously Brown: They have tanned skin tones, but no clue of their ethnicity.
- Boom, Headshot!: Their fates, at the hands of Liam Neeson.
- Creepy Twins: They Speak in Unison and are malevolent.
- Evil Counterpart: To both Trishas.
- French Jerks: Not as mean as Juliette or Sofia (due to being counterparts to the Trishas), but case still in point.
- Gratuitous French: A given.
- Identical Twin ID Tag: Zoe shows more forehead than Chloe. Zoe also has a squeakier voice in comparison to Chloe.
- Killed Off for Real: In Episode 81.
- Nonstandard Character Design: They're Silkstone Barbies.
- Obviously Evil: They're Creepy Twins, come on! Also just like Juliette and Sofia, their Nonstandard Character Design make them look ominous. Not only as the rivals of Team USA, but also as crazy kidnappers who force eat their victims in order to cheat their ways to the top.
- Satellite Character: Exist to be The Trisha's Evil Counterparts and Creepy Twins. Otherwise, that's about it.
- Single-Minded Twins: "'Allo!"
- True Blue Femininity: They both wear blue tailored suits.
Also known as Bryan Mills from Taken, Liam Neeson is a Running Gag throughout of Season 5, trying to search for his missing daughter.
- Action Dad: Just like the character his doll is made from, Liam Neeson is searching through Paris while looking for his daughter who has gone missing.
- Affectionate Parody: Of the Bryan Mills from the movie Taken.
- Big Damn Heroes: Shoots and kills Team France before they have the chance to do it first to Brittnay, Mackenzie and Deandra.
- The Cameo / Running Gag: He first appears as a joke when Lunch Lady Belinda mentions that France is the capital of kidnapping (and like in Taken, this Liam Neeson's daughter was kidnapped too). He reappears throughout the season as a Brick Joke before having a Big Damn Heroes moment in the (aptly named) "Taken" episode.
- Catchphrase: "Have you seen my daughter?"
- Papa Wolf: Searches the entirety of Paris for his missing daughter Kim. Turns out she was one of the kidnapped models, and once he finds her in Team France's hidden basement, he kills her captors.
