Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Alright, Doflamingo again, but now with more Blacker Baron and some high priests:

Donquixote Doflamingo, God of Sinister Shades and Fashionable Feathers (Joker, Heavenly Demon, Doffy)

  • Potential House: Costumes.
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Donquixote Pirates' Smiley Jolly Roger. Alternatively, his sunglasses.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil.
  • Portfolio: Scary Sunglasses, Feather-based Fashion, Flamboyant Fighters, Razor-sharp Strings, People Puppetry, Constant Smiling And Laughing, Villains Adored By The Public, Social Darwinism, Arms Dealing
  • Domains: Sunglasses, Feathers, Strings, Charisma, Manipulation (literal and metaphorical), Businesses, Villains.
  • High Priests: Younger Toguro (Sinister Shades), Yumichika Ayasegawa (Fluffy Fashion Feathers).
  • Followers: His own pirate crew, the Donquixote Pirates (and Bellamy), Rude, Alita Tiala.
  • Allies: Ragyo Kiryuin, Kefka Palazzo, The Joker, Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn, Dimentio, Roy Koopa, Clients interested in his Devil Fruit products.
  • Enemies: He even has list of them, some even with their own star rating:
  • Rivals: Marcus Kincaid, Albert Wesker.
  • Interested in: Crocodile, Ho-Oh.
  • Formerly one of the Celestial Dragons, a group of nobles who hold the highest authority in his world, Donquixote Doflamingo's life drastically changed after he and his family lost their noble status after his father, Donquixote Homing, chose to live life like "humans".
    • When word about his (former) status reached the ears of the common people, him, his father and his brother Rocinante where endlessly persecuted and eventually caught, with him cursing and threatening the mob that were torturing him.
    • Doflamingo tried to get on the good graces of the Celestial Dragons by killing his father and bringing his head as a gift for the nobles. Unsurprisingly, him and his "gift" were rejected and chased off the nobles' homeland.
  • Doflamingo managed to ascend by taking hostage tributes that were meant for the deities of the Pantheon. While this tactic wouldn't usually work, many Gods were taken by his apparent charisma and eccentric, yet stylish fashion sense, so they gave in to his demands pretty quickly and gave him two different seats in the House of Costumes.
  • Doflamingo is known for wearing sunglasses since he was an 8-year old and he has never appeared in public without a pair. In fact, no one has ever seen him without them, leading to speculation about what he could be hiding in regards to his eyes.
  • It's unknown if Doflamingo's trademark pink feather coat was made with actual flamingo feathers, but he has commented that a coat made with Ho-Oh's feathers would look nice on him, so it probably was.
  • It turns out that he is a big investor of the REVOCS Corporation, having a great interest on the selling of Life Fiber clothing, which he believes "will take over the world by storm". After all, he is a man that knows a thing or two about fashion and parasitic strings.
  • Doflamingo often has the tendency to use his string powers to manipulate two Lesser Gods into fighting each other when feeling especially bored. He's been told to knock it off several times already, but it appears he still does it every now and then.
  • There are rumors that he started making deals with some of the Grand Alliances for Devil Fruits, using his position as a measly Costume God to avoid suspicion. Marcus Kincaid views him as competition, as his advanced and futuristic weapons now have to compete with superpower-granting fruits.
  • Doflamingo looked forward to Edward Newgate's death at the Battle of Marineford and took great delight when it happened, causing the world to fall into chaos and war due to the vacuum of power left by the pirate Emperor. At the Pantheon, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that they don't like each other.
    • Despite the fact that both him and Fleet Admiral Sakazuki view Newgate as an enemy, both also don't trust each other. Doflamingo views Sakazuki as too controlling and authoritative while the Marine views the Warlord as just another pirate to be magma-punched down.
    • He tried to start an alliance with former Warlord colleague Crocodile probably in order to take on both Newgate and Sakazuki, but the co-God of The Desert Sand wasn't interested. This ended up in a clash between the two, although both of them gave up on starting a real fight for unknown reasons.
  • Being a king of his own nation and a noble by birth, he sometimes is seen hanging out at the House of Royalty. Most of the Gods over there don't appear to like him though, as his story about how he attained kingship is filled with shady details, not to mention the fact that he's a pirate.
  • He appears to be a big fan of The Joker, being inspired by his psychotic views, flashy attitude and even name. The Joker himself finds Doflamingo's Devil Fruit ability very interesting thanks to its high potential to cause chaos, destruction and pranks.
    • He has also grew fond of Harley Quinn, as her mad devotion for her "Mr. J" is not unlike the devotion his own crew has for him, so he ends up encouraging her on it, much to The Joker's chagrin.
    • His good relations with the Joker has also made him closer to Kefka Palazzo and Dimentio. It helps that they all share a penchant for colorful flamboyance and omnicidal madness.
  • Has a sort of silent rivalry going on with Albert Wesker, as both are charismatic, sunglasses-wearing manipulators who believe that only the strong should survive. As such, although neither of them are actively antagonistic against the other, they are both very wary of the strings the other could try to pull on them (literally on Doflamingo's case).
  • Despite sharing a lot of similarities in terms of flashiness and subordinate protectiveness, Doflamingo and Blacker Baron are enemies on virtue of one being a pirate and the other a bounty hunter. They're still relatively non-hostile with each other, having some fun bantering during fights (mostly in regards to their own quirky fashion choices).
  • There are concerns that Doflamingo one day might encompass the entire Pantheon with an indestructible birdcage made of incredibly sharp and tough strings, with the purpose of turning all Gods against certain deities that he wants to get rid off in order to obtain freedom, essentially starting a divine cage match. He charismatically denies the possibility of such a thing happening, although there are rumors that he already has a list of Gods and Goddesses that he wants to see gone.

Anyone willing to do Kim Possible? Because I have little idea on the show, but I know about it. I want someone who actually has an idea on the show.

[up] I watched a lot of episodes a while ago. I can do the profile as soon as I get these other ones done.

Fred Flintstone, God of Cavemen and Persistent Themes (Twinkle-toes)

->Fred: Yabba Dabba Doo!
  • He and his family all made their way to their new temple. Fred was the last one to enter... only to find out that his family had already locked him out. Cue his other most famous Catchphrase.
->Fred: Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
  • His entry into the Pantheon was a momentous occasion to the various father gods. Many see him as the inspiration of all other dads, especially Homer Simpson.
  • One of his plans involved going into the video game making business. As the market appeared to be massive, he thought he could get a sizable chunk of it. The reception was... not so pleasant. Mario himself sued him for plagiarism and ended that scheme on the spot.
    • Not deterred by his initial failure, he worked together with Barney to make a less plagiarized game. They successfully created not one, but two games. Unfortunately, a miscommunication with Barney led to the vast majority of the later shipped to Harry Dresden's temple. The walking technobane made short work of games, making them among the rarest NES games in existence.
  • After that failed foray, he found much better luck in the House of Commerce. There he's been involved in various commercials from cereal to vitamins and even cigarettes. He got a bit of flack from the last one from several environmentally friendly gods.
  • Sometimes spends his time in the House of Music, mostly to listen to Weird Al who made a song for his ascension.
  • One time when he was about to head out, he was tackled by an eager reptile. Fred initially thought it was his pet Dino. Instead, it was Mario's companion Yoshi. The mount has been much more friendly towards him than his master and offers a ride whenever the caveman needs a lift. Fred eventually grew to accepting his company, licking and all.
  • No other god is more pissed with his ascension than Indominus Rex. The genetically created dinosaur was infuriated to see Fred using animals as nothing more than work animals. It was quick to list Fred on the top gods to devour.
  • Speaking of genetically created dinosaurs, Fred came into trouble with another one. When he tried to pet Riptor, God of Raptors, he nearly lost his hand in the process. No one knows what set the raptor off. All that is known is that now Fred's temple has to ward off Velociraptors every now and then.
  • Not all dinosaur deities despised him. Littlefoot was quick to ally with the caveman, citing how his world can regard dinosaurs as pets.
  • As for the great T-Rex of the Pantheon herself, she only reacts to Fred as she would to any human: a potential meal if possible and a possible ally if need be. There are far worse humans to snack on in the Pantheon after all.
  • Much to his disappointment, there has yet to be a God of Bowling. As a talented bowler himself, he seeks out the best competition whenever he visits the House of Sports.
    • Not that he shares the same nickname as Aang, which Toph loves to point out. Fred wishes he could have gotten a batter nickname.
  • Do not under any circumstances mention any form of gambling to him. That is a sure-fire way of squandering all of his money. Tsundere and Marge for their part have made great strides to curbing their gambling habits in his presence, not wanting another soul to fall under their influence.
  • There's at least one human god that doesn't appreciate his ascension; the Nostalgic Critic was quick to criticize his ascension, believing his ridiculous use of rock puns should put him at least in The Fallen if not worse. That only caused his ally deities to rally behind him, citing how his show serves as the background of various other adult cartoons to this day. Fred swears to bash his skull in the next time the two meet for defaming him.
  • Was not too fond of what happened to him when that idiot Billy unfroze him in the present and again in the future only for his brains to be eaten by aliens. He's decided to put a restraining order on the God of Negative Intelligence for his own safety.
  • Many gods were impressed that Fred and Barney managed to not only take Santa's place, but give presents to children all over the world. Saint North rewarded the two for their help, giving their children lots of presents each Christmas.
  • His relationship with Barney has been compared with that of Mike and Sulley. Sure they have their disagreemets, but the two do care for each other. It helps that Fred and Sully shared the same actor.

Dexter Morgan Divine Killer of Killers (The Bay Harbor Butcher)

  • Theme Song: his theme song
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A blood-stained apron
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolios: Adorkable, AmbiguousDisorder, NecessarilyEvil, Can analyse a crime scene in seconds, Badass Bookworm, keeps battle trophies of the criminals he's slain, Consummate Liar, Control Freak, Detective Mole, Hunts the Most Dangerous Criminals, Knife Nut, Manipulative Bastard, Noble Demon, Papa Wolf, Pragmatic Villainy, Psychotic Smirk, Sympathetic Murderer, Wouldnt Hurta Child
  • Domains: Death, Murder, Torture, Deception
  • Followers: Vino, James Cash
  • Allies: The Punisher, Kevin McCallister
  • Enemies: The Joker, Batman, Light Yagami, Carnage, Dio Brando, Yoshikage Kira, Hensel and Gretel, Springtrap, Johan Liebert, Katarina, The Jigsaw Killer
  • Rivals: Ezio Auditore, Strider Hiyru, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
  • Opposes: Jack the Ripper, Hannibal Lecter
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The House of Justice
  • Conflicting Opinion: Jason Todd
  • Feared by: Dexter
  • Originally switching between Hannibal Lecter and Jack the Ripper (who competed for the title God of Serial Killers), Dexter hoped to to use his divine powers to kill them both. Using the dispute to cause the two gods to feud with each other, he hoped that the two would face one last time to the death. Then, he can swoop in and finish off the weakened victor. Unfortunately, he underestimated Hannibal's cunning and the two turned on him instead. After a vicious thrashing, the two gods stripped him of his divine power and left him for dead, with the Ripper taking the Serial Killer title. Luck would befall on him as he did not die that day. Instead, he woke up at the gates of the Pantheon, rising up himself as the God of Serial-Killer Killers.
  • He did not get the amount of followers he thought he'd get, as his series fell out in favor due to Seasonal Rot. Luckily, it wasn't due to his own failings and thus avoided being placed in The Fallen.
  • Few gods would suspect that a serial killer would have such a neat and tidy temple. Most deities think he's just a minor detective in the House of Justice. And yet it is all a ruse: he makes other gods think of him as a normal man. That all changes when ventures off at night, luring criminals away to torture and eventually kill them. Some gods would say his actions would be downright evil if not for his targets.
    • However, he is wary for the arrival of a certain Sergeant that nearly did him in when he was a mortal. Some gods say one can always make him fidget whenever he hears this phrase
  • Bad guys should NOT by any circumstances mistake him for the Boy Genius over in the House of Technology. Anyone who would want to do harm to the boy will receive a painful torture session twice as painful. The kid Dexter thinks his namesake is absolutely terrifying.
  • Looks to the Punisher as a stalwart ally due to similar philosophies in dealing with bad guys. It's not uncommon seeing the two together to take down mobsters.
  • Is absolutely despised by Batman. A staunch opponent of killing criminals, he is not fooled in the least by his facade. It doesn't help that Dexter goes after many of his rogues gallery. It really says something when he sometimes teams up with the Joker to stop him.
  • One would think that he would be in good terms with fellow criminal killer Light, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Both accuse the other of overstepping their bounds and strive to kill the other. While Light does not have Dexter's full name, the later's has not been able to track down the former's whereabouts.
  • There is some confusion as to whether Dexter wants to team up with Jason Todd or kill him himself. On the one hand, the Red Hood's style fits him well. On the other hand, his initial resurrection killed quite of few innocent people. Dexter decided to let him be for now.
  • Is surprisingly nice with children. It helps that most do not know of his true dealings. It's that reason that Stringtrap is among his top priorities to slay.
    • Is also distraught that children themselves are capable of such evil. An encounter with Hansel and Gretel caught him offguard, barely escaping with his life. He's now ready to deal with the creepy twins, even if it means putting them down for good.
  • Despite disliking the methods, Dexter knows better than to mess with most assassins in the pantheon such as Ezio and Strider. But at least one assassin took interest to taking him out. While he was resting in his innocent persona, he was attacked by a knife-throwing assassin. Luckily, he managed to fend her off and identified his assailant. Turns out Katarina was hired to kill him, most likely hired by the GUAE. Every know and then the two face off once more, usually with Dexter escaping.
  • Not everyone gets scared when they find out about his hobby. When he stabbed a couple of pedophiles after Kevin Mc Callister, he gained favor from the God of Booby Trap Warfare. Dexter has made it clear that anyone who dare messes with the kid would get a slow, painful death.
  • Rumor has it that the Jigsaw Killer is preparing a diabolical trap specifically for Dexter. He was rather interested with the man's hobbies and hopes to use his urges against him.
  • One of the first gods to deduct that Dexter's not who he seems was Henry Jekyll, much to the former's surprise. It wasn't until he tracked down the cause of a recent ruffling of civiliansthat he found out why. After an intense battle with Hyde, he managed to follow the brute and he him transform to his meeker form. Though he could have killed him despite his injuries, Dexter decided to let him go, seeing to much of himself in the scientist. However, there is no doubt the The Bay Harbor Butcher will keep an eye on his alter ego.

Lucille McGillicuddy and Enrique Alberto Fernando Ricardo y de Acha III , Divine Couple of Sitcoms (Lucy and Rick Ricardo)

  • Theme Song: the show's theme song
  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: The 'I Love Lucy' logo
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (Lucy), Neutral Good (Ricky)
  • Portfolios:
  • Domains: Good, Laughter, Trickery
  • Followers: Many participants of sitcoms
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Ato-ko Shirogane
  • Rivals: Barney Stinson
  • Feared by: All celebrity deities (Lucy only)
  • To the surprise of many in the Pantheon, there has yet to be a single god of Sitcoms, even though many of their ranks have been deified. Thus the ascended members of the Pantheon were asked to pick one who would represent them all. After constant bickering and hijacks, a person was chosen, a redheaded troublemaker named Lucy. Initially she refused, not wanting to leave her husband Ricky behind. After a bit of discussion, it was decided that the two can share the title together.
  • The couple are now tasked with selecting a few mortals among their followers to become deities themselves, filling a much-needed gap in the Pantheon. Time will tell who they will choose.
  • It's safe to say that they are adored by virtually all of the sitcom gods. They are willing to defend the couple against anyone who is foolish enough to tarnish their temple.
    • Since their ascension, the two have received a massive assortment of gifts from both deities and their followers. The couple sure have their work cut out for them.
  • Often gets a lot of help on planning dates with Aphrodite. Although the Most Beautiful Goddess' intentions are sincere, Lucy can't help but feel she's trying to draw her husband away from her.
  • The two thought that they had met Superman before on an earlier time. Turns out they only met one of his avatars. The real Man of Steel dropped by to meet them. Although he slightly chided Lucy for lying to kids about his appearance, the two groups left in good terms. Ricky in particular appreciates that he has a reliable set of eyes and ears to keep Lucy in check.
    • In fact, the couple were one of the first gods to seek out crossovers with other mortals, among them included Susie Mac Namara of Private Secretary and Danny Williams of the Danny Thomas show. Though not as popular as in their heyday, they received a renaissance of support when CBS started to air episodes of their adventures.
  • Probably the only sitcom deity not to adore her, Barney remains nonplussed about them. Perhaps the biggest opponent to their ascension, he preferred someone from a more current show to take the mantle. It took the pleading of Ted's wife to convince the two not to bar any more mortals from her world from ascending.
  • Various gods have advised the couple to stay far away from Ato-ko. The Destroyer of Couples has taken an interest in Ricky Ricardo, hoping to snatch him away from her if only temporarily. One theorized that she planned to break the two up for only one of them to take the title. The subsequent fight over said title will surely be devastating for many in the Pantheon.
    • She may have already succeeded in one aspect. Ato-ko gleefully pointed out how their real life actors broke up shortly after they finished production of the show. The couple were quick to point out that the actors had nothing to do with their lives. Still, the new info but a significant dent in their relationship.
  • Exclusive to Lucy:
    • It is not uncommon seeing Lucy dressed up as a man at times, usually to pull off some of her schemes to make some money. When she found out there was a god for that, she immediately bolted to her temple for a blessing. Mulan herself accepted it, though she does not always approve her deceit.
    • Many gods see similarities between her and Kushina. It was no surprise that the two mothers shared a bond between the two. She's even one for the two gods in the Pantheon that goes along with her in her ZanySchemes.
    • Also pays lip service to Fiery Redhead Asuka, especially when she prepares for the wrath of her husband when arguing.
    • It was a massive surprise to Ed, Edd and Eddy when Lucy turned aside in one of their schemes for jawbreakers. It was an even greater surprise when she joined in on one of their hijicks. The boys are too similar to her to scold them too harshly.
    • Sees Erza as an inspiration, given how she manages to own a huge assortment of clothing while managing to kick ass. She's taken up lessons from her as well... with poor results so far.
    • When Lucy discovered that various current and past celebrities resided in the Pantheon, there was much rejoicing from her. Not so much with the celebrities, as they often have to take the brunt of the antics she put them through. She's become especially fond with relics of her time such as Albert Einstein, John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart.
    • She's sworn never to go anywhere near an assembly line as she's one of the first deities to discover the horror of managing one.
  • Exclusive to Ricky:
    • When Lucy does something particularly grating, Ricky tends to go off in Spanish at speeds that even some Spanish speaking gods in the Pantheon fail to hear. However, it should be noted that he does NOT said "Lucky, you've got some 'splaining to do." He has yet to track down the perpetrator of that meme to this day.
    • Sees Al Bundy as an inspiration that all other American fathers should strive to be, much to the surprise of the God of Failure. The ego boost does help ease the pain, and the two became close friends in no time.
    • He can be seen in the House of Music, showing off his Broadway skills to the crowd. Still wishes that more people from Broadway could ascend.

Also I think there was a referenced by one episode on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on that one scene where the girls have to sort the cherries and Applejack was speeding up out of frustration when the girls begin confronting her about why she wasn't returning to Ponyville, which cause distress for Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy who were working.

[up]If you are referring to the Child then what the hell are you going to do with it since aside from Freddy, not many of F Na F have any personality and majority of their facts are fanon. At least, that is what BSN would say. Also, PLEASE use the database. Seriously, if you are going to be asking which trope is not taken, then use the database as it has what you may be looking for.

BTW, it's free.

So, people are talking about the Disgraces again? Yeah, I'm adamant, eliminate the Disgraces. They exist solely as a Take That! that's become overall nasty. The way the main pantheon treats them is an Author Tract by us. If we want quality control in the pantheon, we should use this thread instead of giving them a Hall of Shame. In addition, I believe the Persona Non Grata should be removed as they are basically No real life examples-friendly Disgraces.

I'm not sure whether we should deal with the Fallen. But I think they're what the "Disgraces" should be. They're examples of writing flaws without being overly mean about it. It's a "ok, you made a mistake, but you can fix this."

[up] I'm bringing it up because other people are bringing up what to do with them in the previous two pages. 'sides, the point I make is that if no-one wants to talk about them or care that they exist, why are they still here?

[up][up] I NEVER said they were ascending. Just removed and ignored. If we don't want them entering the pantheon, we can use the forum and not a Wall of Shame.

[down] Why do you think I want them gone? No-one wants anything to do with them, so why even keep them around? That's why I want them gone and think that they should go: no-one cares about their existence any more.

I am starting to think that I might bring this up to the mod. It's not because of Clovis being insistent about it, but perhaps I thought that if we all agree that it should be just NUKED, then the mod can make it happen.

What was the consensus again about nuking the pages? As in, cutlisting them or something?
