Emma Garza

Played By: Chloe Noelle

The daughter of Luna Garza and Marcus Bozeman.

Tropes

  • Break the Cutie: She spends half of season five held hostage by vampires. Then in the sixth season premiere, she watches her mother die. Then she gets kidnapped again by the werewolf pack.
  • Human Pet: Inverted. Russell takes her in her werewolf form to be Steve Newlin's new pet dog. When she returns to her human form, Steve gets angry and orders her to remain in her werewolf form indefinitely.
  • Involuntary Shapeshifting: Changed into a werewolf involuntary, much to her mother's shock who was hoping she'd be a shifter.

    Debbie

Debbie Pelt

"They killed my Cooter!"
Played By: Brit Morgan

"Vampire burrito? For me?"

The pathologically jealous and vigilant on/off girlfriend of Alcide Herveaux. A native werewolf of Mississippi, she was once engaged to Alcide, but they broke off their involvement after he insisted he did not want to breed, because he despised his own species. Debbie became addicted to V and engaged to a werewolf in Russell Edgington's command, Cooter. Despite this, she grew jealous of her ex Alcide's association with Sookie Stackhouse.

Tropes

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Cooter and Marcus, Debbie? Really?
  • Anti-Villain: especially in season 4
  • Ax-Crazy: Attacks Sookie twice in Season 3 and 4.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: During the gap between seasons 3 and 4, Debbie stops taking V. She instead becomes a vastly different, and actually kind person.
  • Boom, Headshot!: To Tara.
  • *Click* Hello: Of the shotgun kind.
  • Coup de Grâce: When Debbie attacks Sookie in the Season 4 finale, Tara jumps in the line of fire, and takes a bullet to the head. In a rage, Sookie wrestles Debbie to the ground, and rips the shotgun from her, and aims it right under her chin, amongst Debbie's cries for mercy. It doesn't work.
  • Designated Girl Fight: Debbie and Sookie's fight in Sookie's room during season 3 while Bill and Jessica (a girl of course, but a stronger supernatural being) were taking care of Russell and the other werewolves invading Sookie's home during episode 8.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: She did love Cooter, and Alcide. And she had two parents who adored her.
  • Final Boss: Season 4 ends with her killing Tara and ultimately fighting and being killed by Sookie in return.
  • Glasgow Smile: Sookie gets out of a chokehold Debbie has on her during their season 3 fight by giving her one with a pair of scissors. She's healed the next time we see her.
  • Gun Struggle: Between Debbie and Sookie. Guess who wins?
  • Love Makes You Crazy: Debbie is this trope.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Upon seeing Alcide carrying an unconscious Sookie, Debbie beings to believe that Alcide is cheating on her behind her back.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Sookie.
  • Pet the Dog: She helps Sookie sneak into Moon Goddess Emporium in season 4 to locate Eric, and later helps her escape when Marnie is alerted to her presence.
  • Psycho Ex-Girlfriend: Um...duh
  • Sacred Hospitality: Beginning of Season 4.
Debbie: (to Sookie) Would you like a Vienna Sausage?
  • Taking the Bullet: Debbie's shotgun fires and hits Tara, who tried pushing Sookie out of the way.
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: During the season 3 catfight between Sookie and Debbie, this little exchange occurs:
Sookie: Get out of my house, bitch!
    Debbie: Fuck you!
  • Villains Want Mercy: Debbie begs Sookie for this after trying to kill Sookie with a shotgun, only failing because Tara pushes her out of the way getting shot in the process. Sookie does not give it to her and returns the favor instead.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Towards both Cooter and Alcide, although not necessarily in healthy ways.
  • Yandere: Holy hell...

"I chose my pack, and I swore I'd die for it."
Played By: Dale Dickey

The mother of Marcus Bozeman and also a werewolf. She is powerful and respected within the werewolf pack of Shreveport, Louisiana due to her late son's position and that of her late husband, Marcus' father. She is also grandmother to Emma, Marcus and Luna's daughter.

Tropes

  • Idiot Ball : By all means, Martha. Insult the three-thousand year old vampire while you hold tightly to your were-pup granddaughter. I'm sure that'll turn out splendidly!
  • I'm a Humanitarian: She's very strict on rules, and the rules say if the packmaster dies, the other weres have to change into wolves and eat the former packmaster's body.
Sam: She just lost her only son.
Luna: She just ate her only son.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She is hotblooded and can be bit of an asshole, as werewolves often are, but she genuinely loved her son and cares for her granddaughter.

    Danielle

Danielle

Played By: Jamie Gray Hyder

A Werewolf in the Shreveport pack.

Tropes

  • Professional Butt-Kisser: When JD is packmaster, she's seen making out with him. When Alcide is packmaster, she walks up to him naked and engages in a threesome with him.

    Nate

Nate

Played By: Brendan McCarthy

Played By: Grant Bowler

The leader of a biker gang called the Fuck You Crew, formed by werewolves serving Russell Edgington, an ancient vampire and the King of Mississippi. Like his fellow packmembers, Cooter was addicted to V which was regularly supplied to them by Edgington himself.

Tropes

  • The Rival: to Bill and Alcide. He does not endear himself to people.

    Marcus

Marcus Bozeman

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/MarcusBozeman_1656.jpg
"You've just pissed on the wrong boots, my friend!"
Played By: Dan Buran

The werewolf packmaster of Shreveport.

Tropes

  • Crazy Jealous Guy: He's Luna's ex-husband.
  • Dirty Coward: Uses larger pack men as a gang of thugs to fight his battles for him.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Has "Sam" beaten to death by four of his men for talking smack about seeing Luna. Lampshaded by Alcide.
Marcus: He was mouthing off to me!
    Alcide: SO FUCKING WHAT?!
  • Establishing Character Moment: Alcide meets Marcus when he shows up unannounced at his door, then tries to bully and intimidate him into joining his pack with veiled threats. Marchus later turns up the charm and tries to play it off as "alphaing him up a little too much," but before too long Alcide realizes his first impression of Marcus was the correct one.
  • Fantastic Racism: Against shifters. This includes Luna, the mother of his daughter.
  • Foil: to Alcide.
  • Informed Ability: The closest he ever comes to using his powers onscreen is when his eyes briefly flash while angry.

"You put a shifter before your own pack, Herveaux. I will never bow before you."

Tropes

  • Blood Knight: Even after Alcide forfeits the challenge, he wants to chase and kill some poor kid for the sheer sport of it.
  • The Brute: To Russell.
  • Dirty Coward: When JD and two other werewolves are guarding Russell at the insane asylum and Eric, Sookie, Bill, and Alcide show up, he attacks Alcide from behind, but flees the moment Eric and Bill are able to overpower and kill the other two wolves. Also, instead of fighting Alcide one-on-one during the packmaster challenge, he kidnaps a high school student, tells him to run, and says that the challenge will be to hunt the kid down and kill him in order to decide who becomes packmaster. Alicde is rightfully disgusted with this.
  • Dirty Old Man: When Rikki tells Alcide about her and others being force fed V, he instinctively asks if that's all that happened, she replies for her, yes, but not for some of the younger females of the pack.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Downplayed. He tries to stop Russell from taking Emma. Doesn't work.
