"Nobody ever helps me."
The Alternate Hibiki from the parallel world, unlike her prime counterpart this Hibiki is very much a loner due to the abuse she experienced from the Zwei Wing concert accident, but unlike her prime counterpart who still has her family, Miku, and her friends to support her, this Hibiki has no one to reach her out and end up becoming The Cynic.

Originally a wielder of Gungnir before switching to Elekleid.

Debuted in A Light That Pierces the Clouds Event.

  • Anti-Hero: She shifts between several types of this trope in her early appearances, especially in Lost Song.
    • In her debut event, while she helps the innocent bystanders from Noise she claims that she only did it because she wants to take her frustration out on the Noise without someone getting in the way.
    • Chapter 2 of Lost Song has her transforming into a full-blown Nominal Hero as she donned Elekleid. While she still engaged noise and levengers, she was primarily motivated by her desire to kill Susanoo.
    • Chapter 3 of Lost Song has her shifting into a Classical Anti-Hero as she tried to stop Tesla's plans of multiversal genocide, but was also implied to have failed to save numerous worlds primarily due to her fighting alone. Her Character Development in this chapter focused on gradually accepting help from others, and in the final chapter, regaining her hope and by proxy, her song, allowing her to access Symphonic Drive to stop Tesla once and for all.
    • The epilogue of Lost Song settles her as a Knight in Sour Armor as she resolved to help as many people in many parallel worlds as she could to make amends for her actions during the second chapter of the same event, while retaining her generally sour outlook.
  • Bag of Spilling: She no longer has access to her Elekleid Symphonic Drive form which is pretty much her own version of Duo-Relics, as she returns Gungnir to her Prime counterpart while her own Gungnir is no longer available.
  • Berserk Button: Saying the word "Help" alone will anger her enough to draw her Superpowered Evil Side.
  • Big Damn Heroes: During the Ashita no Hikari event, despite the dimensional barriers being closed, she uses Eleklied to break through to back up her prime counterpart.
  • Break the Cutie: She has the same background as main Hibiki but without Miku there as her friend.
  • Breakout Character: Initially a one-shot character for an event, Parallel Hibiki's popularity (as the first alternate version of a character with a distinct difference) led to her being the main star of Lost Song, as well as becoming involved in the finale of Light of Tomorrow.
  • Brought Down to Normal: At the end of her event, Miku ends up lasering her with Shenshou Jing to purge both the Gungnir shard and the Karma Noise that plagues her body and sanity. The sequel event, Lost Song however had her accept the other Gungnir relic to keep fighting.
  • The Bus Came Back: Roughly 2 years since her debut, Parallel Hibiki finally returned and get to plays the leading role in Lost Song Arc, the second major event.
  • But Now I Must Go: In order to atone for the crimes she had committed during Lost Song, Hibiki decides to go on a journey through dimensions and parallel worlds and help out those in need. She promises to return however, and both her Miku and Tsubasa are ready to welcome her home with open arms.
  • Catchphrase: Averted, she has already forgotten her trademark "Heiki, hecchara" at this point.
  • Cool Sword: Elekleid's main weapon. She can also do Dual Wielding.
  • Delinquents: It is implied from her schoolmates that Miku talks with that she often skips school to wander aimlessly in alleyways.
  • Detrimental Determination: Her one-track mind towards her vengeance on Susanoo not only led to her body almost giving out multiple times, but also TEC's plans being advanced forward, potentially leading to the destruction of all parallel worlds.
  • Disappeared Dad: Like her prime counterpart, her father abandoned the family but unlike her prime one, they never saw each other again and thus never mended their relationship.
  • Happy Ending Override: After reuniting with Miku and presumably starting a normal life at the end of A Light That Pierces the Clouds, things were looking up for her... until Lost Song where she rejoins the battlefield and almost loses Miku.
  • Heroic RRoD: She suffered from this multiple times throughout Lost Song as she accumulated fatigue and injuries throughout her journey to kill Susanoo and later to stop Tesla's plot. The Parallel version of Serena even noted that she was in a critical condition after the last battle in Chapter 3.
  • Image Song:
    • The final chapter of Lost Song introduced Tsumugi -Rhapsody-note , the battle theme of her Symphonic Drive form during her final confrontation with Tesla.
    • Ashita no Hikari introduced To Unseal, her duet with her Prime counterpart.
  • Ineffectual Loner: In Chapter 3 of Lost Song, She was implied to be able to stop Tesla from destroying a parallel world only after accepting assistances from the parallel versions of Kirika and Shirabe. Later during that chapter, her second confrontation with Tesla would have ended with her being successfully Brainwashed were it not for her Prime counterpart breaking her out. She finally acknowledged this during the end of said chapter after Prime Hibiki and other parallel gear users came to help her, even tearfully begging them to help her confront Tesla.
  • I Work Alone: Refuses to work as a group. According to the Tsubasa of this world, she has seen her multiple times helping clean up the Noise but never got a chance to talk with her.
  • Leitmotif: Alternator Full Drive. As she switches to use Elekleid.
  • Lightning Bruiser:
    • During her Gungnir days, As her fighting is self-taught, it is considered to be very different from that of her prime counterpart, focusing on speed.
    • Her Elekleid Drei is the fastest among the Blitzer, being focused on speed.
  • Missed Him by That Much: The backstory reveals that at one point the parallel Miku came to visit her but missed her. (At that point, Hibiki had already forgotten her)
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Once she realized that she is technically helping TEC commit mass murder across the multiverse.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: By killing Susanoo, Hibiki indirectly assists in dooming other parallel worlds.
  • Ninja Run: Fitting her status as a Lightning Bruiser.
  • Painful Transformation: During the Final Battle of Lost Song, the activation of Symphonic Drive had her screaming in utter agony due to the strain. It took several wielders and their parallel counterparts singing the Superb Song to make it less painful for her.
  • Parental Abandonment: It's implied that her mother and grandmother, while not disowning her, chose to live away from her instead.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Elekleid has a purple color scheme and the basic output are superior to a Symphogear's. According to Tesla while Symphogear is considered as a technology left by a god, his Elekleids were made to fight against them. And then there is also Symphonic Drive — gained from combining Elekleid and Symphogear — which can resonate songs across parallel worlds and receive a massive amount of Phonic Gain from them in return, making it potentially among the most powerful forms to date.
  • Put on a Bus: From plot perspective, Parallel Hibiki World has never been visited again since her debut until Lost Song.
  • Replacement Goldfish: In Lost Song, after leaving everything behind to take a revenge on Susanoo. Hibiki once again slowly start to build new friendships with Lala and Forte but just when the three are starting to become closer, their relationship was cut short as Tesla reveals his plan.
  • Revenge Before Reason: When Prime Hibiki tries to explain that Susanoo was in fact Good All Along. Parallel Hibiki simply gives a single short answer.
    Parallel Hibiki: Screw that.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: In Lost Song, after her world's Miku is apparently killed by Susanoo. Instead of regrouping with Tsubasa and Starlit, Hibiki lost it and recklessly charged into battle despite begin overwhelmed by Susanoo's power. This eventually caused her Gungnir to be damaged as well as having Starlit and Tsubasa to Taking the Bullet for her with the former dying and the latter becoming gravely injured. To make things worse, she continued to do so across the multiverse after donning Starlit's Elekleid before succeeding in doing so, indirectly assisting TEC's multiverse-wide genocide. After the revelation of that and Miku actually disappearing from a Levenger rather than Susanoo in Chapter 3, she then set her sights on Nikola Tesla.
  • Sanity Slippage: Because of the Gungnir overheating coupled with absorbing Karma Noise, her sanity starts to erode faster than the Gungnir shards spreading through her body. She begins to become jealous of normal people for having bonds and resents herself for always trying to save them out of the remaining goodness in her heart despite her hatred for them. She even grows jealous at her alternate self because she has Miku and she can't bear playing the second fiddle for Miku's affection, even against herself.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: Her scarf covering her mouth showcases her loner status.
  • Shock and Awe: Elekleid's base element is lightning.
  • Story-Breaker Power: Symphonic Drive Mode has a hidden feature which allows it to gain a massive amount of Phonic Gain by turning the parallel worlds into amplifiers for said energy. With enough parallel worlds as amplifiers, the amount of Phonic Gain obtained this way can match or potentially surpass even the Blazing X-Drive. This ability alone can at least make fights against multiversal threats like Beatrice and Jormungardr much easier. It's telling that with this Hibiki returning the Gungnir to her Prime Counterpart, this form never sees any narrative relevance since its debut.
  • Super Mode: Symphonic Drive Mode, a hidden feature Starlit secretly built in. By combining her Elekleid with a Symphogear she is able to achieve this form. In concept, this is the Elekleid equivalent to the Prime Gear User Duo-Relics. But in practice, this mode can also resonate the wielder's song across parallel worlds, invite their inhabitants to sing together, and absorb a collosal amount of Phonic Gain from them in return, potentially surpassing the Prime Gears' Blazing X-Drive.
  • Supreme Chef: She is a good cook as shown in the Lost Song event.
  • The Slacker: Her menu quote implied that she is sort of a slacker when she isn't in her usual cynic mood, like she would sleep more after waking up, then complain that it's too cold, and would rather do nothing.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Compared to her prime counterpart. Chris mentions that her eyes are the same as her past self's before she joined SONG.
  • Trauma Conga Line: It's safe to say that her life since the Zwei Wing accident has not been a good one with no one to look after her. Lost Song doesn't help her either, starting from potentially losing her world's Miku to unwittingly assisting Multiverse-wide genocide and being forced to fall out with and fight her two newfound friends because they take part in said genocide. This is then topped off by being Forced to Watch as they sacrifice themselves to help her stop it at the last moment.
  • Tsurime Eyes: Unlike her counterpart above, this Hibiki has sharp eyes to portray her unfriendly and harsh personality.

Sharon Parallel World

    Tsubasa Kazanari
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tsubasaan.png
Click to see her with Ame-No-Habakiri
The Alternate Tsubasa the main trio encounters in Sharon's World. She is a Symphogear user who is out to capture Sharon.

Debuted in BAYONET CHARGE event.

  • Badass Adorable: She's every bit as competent as you would expect Tsubasa to be in a fight, yet replaces her main counterpart's stoicism with a jovial attitude and an excitable infatuation with her universe's Chris that makes her very endearing.
  • Genki Girl: Whether it's fighting, training, or spending time with Chris, expect this Tsubasa to be gung-ho and constantly wearing a smile on her face.
  • Good Old Fisticuffs: Being Genjuro's student, she can fight as good as Hibiki even without her sword.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: Tends to reckless charge into the group of enemies. Good thing there is Parallel Chris is there to covers her up.
  • Mirror Match: The event marks the first time the main gear users met their alternate self and the alternate gear users are on the opposite side.
  • Parental Abandonment: She believes this to be the case. Her story is similar to the main Tsubasa but at one point she gives up being a sentinel due to admiring her uncle Genjuro and starts to act like him instead. Her relationship with her father is much worse than her main counterpart though deep down both still love each other.
  • Tomboy: Acts more masculine than the main one. This is due to her being raised and trained by Genjuro.

    Chris Yukine

Click to see her with Ichaival
The Alternate Chris the main trio encounters in Sharon's World. She is a Symphogear user who is out to capture Sharon.

Debuted in BAYONET CHARGE event.

  • Alternate Self: She is completely different from Main Chris, starting with her wearing her hair free and long while also having a softer, demure personality.
  • Anger Born of Worry: The "anger" part is downplayed but she was displeased when her universe's Tsubasa got hurt protecting her and offers to patch Tsubasa up.
  • Badass Adorable: A more feminine version of her main counterpart, but just as strong in firepower and was trained by Genjuro in close-quarters combat. That revelation alone was enough for her to gain the upper hand.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: Normally quiet and all but turns into Prime Chris with even more Precision F-Strike when angered.
  • First-Name Basis: With her universe's version of Tsubasa.
  • Good Old Fisticuffs: Like Tsubasa, she is Genjuro's student. This makes her as dangerous as him in close-range combat.
  • Mirror Match: The event marks the first time the prime gear users met their alternate self. And they are on the opposite side.
  • Ojou: Mostly her for designs and her dress.
  • Suddenly Shouting: When she finally snaps at Tsubasa late into the event.
  • Tareme Eyes: She has tareme-ish eyes, signaling her more demure and feminine personality compared to the Prime Chris.
  • True Blue Femininity: Her beam shot is blue in color contrast to main Chris who usually has a red color.
  • Tsundere: A Type B compared to her prime counterpart who is a Type A. This Chris is normally one of the sweetest girls to be around, but as Tsubasa finds out, she has a temper rivaling that of the Prime Chris.

Parallel Shirabe World

    Shirabe Tsukuyomi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shirabea_3.png
Click to see her with Shul Shagana
The Alternate Shirabe the party encountered in this world. A Teen Genius who is trying to revive her best friend Kirika, who has become comatose following an accident.

Debuted in TWIN HEART MELODY Event

  • Attack Drone: Uses this as her main forte compared to the main Shirabe who partly uses it in her attacks.
  • Badass Adorable: She still has her Symphogear and is just as capable in combat as her prime counterpart, but unless things get really serious, she usually leaves the fighting to her combat robots and Android Kirika.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Her background is similar to her main counterpart but without Maria (who doesn't seem to exist in this world) acting as her Cool Big Sis.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Under the tutelage of Dr. Ver, she has become an expert in making all sorts of gadgets, with one scene having her mention developing a cross between a microwave and a phone for a client. And, of course, she was responsible for creating Android Kirika.
  • Hikikomori: This Shirabe dislikes any outdoor activities and prefers to do her things in the lab.
Shirabe: I will die if I go outside.
A.Kirika: You are not a vampire, you won't die.
  • Labcoat of Science and Medicine: She is always seen wearing her lab coat around.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Prefers to use Attack Drone and Beam Spam instead of charging head-on since it's too bothersome.
  • Mad Scientist: Has a shade of this.
  • Opaque Nerd Glasses: Wears these on her forehead to emphasize her intelligence.
  • Pet the Dog: She is still pretty nice towards Tsubasa and Maria compared to how she treats Android Kirika and Dr. Ver.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: She has no problem complying with Maria and Tsubasa's request to return the kidnapped Kirika. Justified that it's was Android Kirika acting behind her back.
  • Sci-Fi Bob Haircut: Has her hairstyle as this to contrast to prime Shirabe's Girlish Pigtails.
  • Teen Genius: Prime Shirabe herself is pretty bright but is far from being called a genius. This Shirabe studied very hard under Dr. Ver to the point where she even exceeded him.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Compared to her prime counterpart, this Shirabe is more snarky and prone to getting angry at Android Kirika and kicks Dr. Ver on a daily basis.

    Android Kirika
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kirikaa.png
An android created by Shirabe with a help of Dr. Ver. She is the culprit behind the prime Kirika's kidnapping, kickstarting the events of TWIN HEART MELODY. She serves as Shirabe's caretaker.

Debuted in TWIN HEART MELODY Event.

  • Alternate Self: Averted, she is not the real Kirika. As her name suggests, she is an android based on Kirika's memories.
  • All Your Powers Combined: Shirabe laters upgrade her to include being able to store the other Gears user's Phonic Gain.
  • Androids Are People, Too: Dr. Ver and the prime gear users trying to convince Parallel!Shirabe to no avail.
  • Badass Adorable: Just because she's an android of Kirika and can't use a Symphogear doesn't make her any less dangerous in battle or bubbly outside of battle.
  • Barbie Doll Anatomy: Her Limiter-off mode has her shedding her clothes, revealing that she has this underneath. Justified, considering that she is a robot.
  • Genki Girl: Just like the prime Kirika.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Uses herself as an emergency energy source to save the real Kirika of her world.
  • I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: She could care less about being treated like an extra, as long as she can make Shirabe happy.
  • My Master, Right or Wrong: Despite Parallel Shirabe's treatment of her, she continues to remain loyal to her.
  • Same Character, But Different: The lone aversion to this rule compared to the other parallel Symphogear wielders. Android Kirika is pretty much a carbon copy of the prime Kirika right down to her personality despite being an android.
  • Sinister Scythe: Can transforms her hand into a mechanical one.
  • Soul Jar: She was initially built with the intent of being a vessel for the real Kirika's consciousness, and when that plan proved unsuccessful, Dr. Ver uploaded a Kirika-like intelligence into it instead.
  • Sucksessor: She is this to Parallel Shirabe.
  • Super Mode: Has a Limiter-off mode which boosts her power but can also cause her to overheat.

    Kirika Akatsuki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_0479d840491c75784a37121c84a0d686_79ae5190_400.jpg
The actual Alternate Kirika. Following an accident where she protected Shirabe, she became comatose. Restoring her consciousness is the driving factor behind Alternate Shirabe's motivations. Following the end of her debut event, she has since woken up and is undergoing rehabilitation.

Debuted in TWIN HEART MELODY Event.

  • Adaptational Wimp: Compared to her prime counterpart, this Kirika is currently unable to wield a Symphogear as she stated that she doesn't have a power of a Song. It's also justified, considering she was comatose and on life support for several years.
  • Discard and Draw: Loses the song in hear heart and the ability to use her Symphogear at the end of TWIN HEART MELODY, but operates her android doppelganger during LOST SONG.
  • Genki Girl: Par for the course when it comes to Kirika.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Post-recovery, she can remotely control her Android-self to fight enemies.
  • Useless Without Powers: Much like Prime!Kirika, her inability to fight alongside the other Gear users causes her a lot of distress. Ironically, she also feels inadequate compared to Android Kirika, who had recursively spent the entirety of her existence feeling that she could never be a worthy substitute for Parallel Kirika.

Special Unit "APPLE"

    Maria Cadenzavna Eve
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mariaa.png
Click to see her with Gungnir
The Alternate Maria from a parallel world. Head of the special unit "APPLE", she enters the prime world looking for an Ouroboros remnant.

Debuted in Stand up! Girl!! Event.

  • A Child Shall Lead Them: Subverted. Maria is the commander of her own special unit and looks like a child, but she's still an adult.
  • A-Cup Angst: One Memoria has her clearly envying Parallel Chris's generous assets, much to the latter's embarrassment.
  • Badass Adorable: Given that she is physically the most childish of the parallel Symphogear wielders and is also the commander of her own airship...
  • Badass Cape: An ironic one, while Prime Maria's Gungnir loses her cape after her resolve, Parallel Maria's cape does the opposite in that it grows longer after she made her resolve.
  • Big Good: Technically speaking for the other Parallel Gear users. She also has her own airship that can dimension travel.
  • Big Little Sister: Thanks to the curse, she appears to be much younger than her sister Serena, despite being older.
  • BFS: More like Big Freaking Spear in this case, due to Maria's decreased size. She prefers to use an oversized Arm Gear to attack.
  • Can't Catch Up: She becomes increasingly concerned that she will become a liability to Serena after seeing how well she was able to fight alongside Prime Maria.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Hibiki still refers to her as Maria-chan despite knowing her real age and position.
  • Little Miss Badass: She is even smaller than Prime Serena who is the Token Mini-Moe of the group.
  • Never Grew Up: She was cursed by an unknown man who halted her aging.
  • Older Than She Looks: She is 22, the same age as prime Maria and is the older sibling despite her size.
  • One Size Fits All: Averted with Gungnir. It is still the same size as it was before, but because Maria has the body of a child, it dwarfs her in size and causes her a great deal of difficulty to wield properly.
  • Token Mini-Moe: In a hilarious bit of irony, she functions as this for the parallel Symphogear wielders despite being the oldest out of all of them, contrasting her prime counterpart's status as the Token Adult. Her childish infatuation with donuts does not help matters one bit.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: She loves donuts. In fact, one of her first appearances as a civilian has her encountering Hibiki next to a donut shop.

    Serena Cadenzavna Eve
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/serenaa.png
Click to see her with Airgetlám
The alternate Serena from a parallel world. In addition to being her sister's second-in-command, she becomes a temporary instructor for Kirika and Shirabe's class at Lydian Academy.

Debuted in Stand up! Girl!! Event.

  • Animal Motifs: Butterflies. There are cross patterns that float around her while she's transformed, which resemble flying butterflies, and when she stands upright, the back piece of the Airgetlam's Gear is obscured save for the side protrusions, giving the imagery of a butterfly's wings.
  • Badass Teacher: She is introduced as a substitute teacher for Shirabe and Kirika's class, and she is also a competent Symphogear user.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Downplayed in the story, but she apparently enjoys drinking beer after work or training according to her character bio.
  • Mr. Smith: At school, she goes under the unassuming pseudonym of "Anna Sanders."
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Shirabe and Kirika fail to realize that she is Serena from a parallel world when she introduces herself as a teacher of Lydian despite her not doing anything to change her appearance. It is understandable, though, as no one in-universe had ever seen or even thought of what Serena would look like as an adult up to this point.
  • She Is All Grown Up: Compared to Prime Serena.
  • Token Adult: In contrast to her prime counterpart, who is the Token Mini-Moe. Out of all the parallel Symphogear Wielders, she is the only one who is visibly an adult.
