Video moderation requests

Character pages should be removed from videos, so I'll do the deed on those.

~The Precision Driver linking to character pages on videos is actually against the guidelines (there's a link at the top). The ones that are up are the ones we haven't caught yet. (You may have noticed, but on many of your uploads I've had to remove such sources for this exact reason)

#4675 — is that Conspicuous in the Crowd bit a typo? You asked to add it as a secondary trope to a video it was already on.

Yes, it was a typo. The video is really from the Due to the Dead page.

• Nimona (Voluntary Shapeshifting) and Nimona (Animorphism) are the same videos expect the former is longer. Can you delete the Animorphism video and add Animorphism and the other secondary tropes to the Voluntary Shapeshifting video.

Duplication is allowed if the smaller one highlights a more specific trope, but I'll make the changes if people want; I don't really care much either way.

I'm checking "Making the arrest" under Miranda Rights since it's already up. Can't remove it. Would like to change it and leave Reading Your Rights because Allegiance (2024) is a Canadian police show. Plus, Canadian law enforcement doesn't have MR as a standard.

• Add the secondary trope Bait-and-Switch Comment to the "Camila Noceda" video from the Mama Bear page. In the video, Jacob yells "Wait, what is that? Are you recording this?" His tone suggests that he's mad, but then he says "Wonderful!"
• Add the secondary trope Big Ball of Violence to the "Roughin' It" video from the Fancy Camping page. At the end of the video, a bear and its cubs attack Mickey, leading to a cloud of smoke with stars coming out.
• Add the secondary trope Coincidental Broadcast to the "Bitsy Found Her Puppet" video from the Sidetracked by the Analogy page. In the video, Helen and Bitsy were looking for a mayoral candidate to use as their puppet. Coincidentally, Quincy Leeds is on TV which gives Helen the idea to use him as the puppet.
• Add the secondary trope Failed Audition Plot to the "Big and Smile" video from the All for Nothing page. In the video, Abby is practicing her audition for a sandwich commercial, but a parrot gets the part instead. Despite this, Abby plans to continue auditioning for more roles in the future.
• Add the secondary trope Musical Number Annoyance to the "The Wash And Dry for Me" video from the Mundane Made Awesome page. In the video, the laundry workers sing a song about laundry while Bitsy derides them for caring too much about laundry.
• Add the secondary trope Narration Echo to the "Elevator Becomes the Bad Bird" video from the Gainax Ending page. In the video, Molly is telling a story and she says "Elevator watches from the wings burning with psychological jealousy." Elevator then says "Ow! My mind is burning with jealousy."
• Add the secondary trope Sting to the "Gay Android" video from the Robotic Reveal page. In the video, the typical dramatic "dun dun dun" notes are heard, but the last one goes on really long for comedic effect.
• Add the secondary trope Surprise Jump to the "The Mad Goat Song" video from the "Anger Is Healthy" Aesop page. In the video, a cat lights a firework behind the goat. When it goes off, it makes him jump about 20 feet in the air.
• Add the following secondary tropes to the "Gozer offs Shandor" video from the You Have Outlived Your Usefulness page:
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: Gozer tears Shandor in half (using the vertical scalp-to-groin variation).
  • Bloodless Carnage: In spite of being torn in half, no blood spurts out of Shandor's body.
• Add the following secondary tropes to the "Nintendo Cereal System" video from the Tie-In Cereal page:
  • Adjacent to This Complete Breakfast: An offscreen voice says "Nintendo Cereal System is a super part of this nutritious breakfast!" The breakfast also includes milk, orange juice, and a sandwich.
  • Roger Rabbit Effect: A 2D-animated Mario is shown jumping across the live-action table with the "nutritious breakfast" on it.

Wanted to follow up on these two:

For "The Bad Guys - Car Grab" under Chase Scene aside from Shout-Out, the former can be replaced with Hot Pursuit. It's a better trope to be used since it's a vehicular chase.

For "Pursuit of a Black Passat" under Chase Scene, would like to get it replaced with Hot Pursuit. Like the one above, it features a car chase on a suspicious vehicle.

On Descendants, for the video "Did I mention" (example of Silly Love Songs), please add Crowd Surfing as a secondary trope.

The singer indeed crowd-surfs toward the girl he was singing to at the very end of the video.

Please add A Wild Rapper Appears! as a secondary trope for this two videos:

• On My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Summertime Shorts, for the video "Get the Show on the Road" (example of Musical Chores). In a song that's mostly Pop, Rainbow Dash gets a rapping segment toward the middle.

• On My Little Pony: Equestria Girls Digital Series, for the video "I'm on a Yacht" (example of Boastful Rap). This time, it's Spike the Dog in stereotypical rapper attire who gets a solo segment toward the end.

On Paula Abdul, for the video "Paul Abdul- Opposites Attract" (example of Roger Rabbit Effect), the name of the artist need to be corrected in both the title and the description. In fact, I think it's unnecessary in the title, which should be just "Opposites Attract". Don't forget to change "Paul" to "Paula" the description too.

• Filled Silence (Filling the Silence): Can you add Shaman King (2001) as a media source since this video is from that version of the anime?

For "The Director" (Complete Monster) from NIMONA (2023), Moral Event Horizon should be added in when available:

• Moral Event Horizon: If The Director hadn't already crossed it when she murdered the Queen and framed Ballister for it, she practically pole-vaulted over it when she orders the wall cannon turned inward to the city to destroy Nimona. This is after Ballister had already talked Nimona down, as well as with full knowledge that the cannon strike would destroy a large portion of the city and kill thousands of innocent people.

For "Krusty's Asian Impression" (Modern Minstrelsy) from The Simpsons episode "The Last Temptation of Krust", the tropes Deliberate Values Dissonance and Everyone Has Standards should be added in when available:

• Deliberate Values Dissonance: Krusty's extremely racist comedy act fails to impress the audience. (Except Bart.)
• Everyone Has Standards: Even the snarky, cynical insult comics are turned off by Krusty's bad and blatantly offensive brand of comedy.

For the Fighter-Launching Sequence video "Danger zone" (Top Gun: Maverick), can you add And Starring as a secondary trope? The clip includes the credits "with Ed Harris" and "and Val Kilmer".

On the video called "Aquaman's Supermove" listed under Making a Splash and on the video called "The Rousing Song of heroism" listed under Pep-Talk Song, please remove Characters.Aquaman The Character as a media source.

#4689: Skipping the second example because A Wild Rapper Appears! is for gratuitous rap verses in a pop song, and the whole song is a rap.

#4692: I am once again hesitant to add a Moral Event Horizon example when the example itself sounds dubious (sounds like the murder was meant to already cross the line).

The Amphibia video "Best Fronds" under Forbidden Fruit should have Toxic Friend Influence as a secondary trope not just because of Anne's speech to Sprig about her opinion of friendship, but also because Anne convinces Sprig to ignore the warning sign.

Done. I suspect Injustice Gods Among Us has this as a recurring issue if there's anything there that has yet to be fixed.

The Mook Horror Show videos "Spear versus the Ape Men" and "Hulked-up Spear vs. monkeys" are redundant. Since the former video has both the correct source (WesternAnimation.Primal 2019 instead of WesternAnimation.Primal) and is sourced to the episode it comes from, I recommend the latter video be deleted (and maybe add its secondary trope, Gorn, to "Spear versus the Ape Men").
