Locked Pages: Lock, UnLock and Edit requests

Go To

This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:

  • creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
  • moving discussion pages
  • moving reviews

Please keep the following guidelines in mind:

  1. Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
  2. Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
  3. If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
  4. We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
  5. If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
  6. If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
  7. To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
  8. Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
  9. Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
  10. Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

On the What Could Have Been section of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild trivia page, I'd like to add the following segment;

  • During a panel at Game Developers Conference 2017, the dev team revealed that there were a bunch of radical ideas to put in the game before it became what it is today, including UFOs and taking place in modern times with Link wearing a tracksuit and even being a musician or a biker.

Is it possible to remove the Good Morning, Crono pothole from the quote? It's against the policy according to this page.

Don't know if right space for requesting new pages in main-space, but I think we need to create a Everyone's Baby Brother redirect for Everyone's Baby Sister since flipped gender versions exist.

I was told in ATT to come here.

Please replace the Constantine entries at Arrowverse with these:

  • Jacob Shaw, from "A Whole World Out There", is a demented Serial Killer who evaded punishment after getting caught by transferring his mind from his body to a Pocket Dimension found during his occult studies, where he essentially became a god-like Reality Warper, able to live out his sick fantasies as much as he wanted. When a group of teenagers accidentally trespasses into his realm, he takes this as an opportunity to live out his sadistic pleasure even more. He starts hunting the teenagers in the real world by appearing on reflective surfaces, driving them nearly insane, and then brutally killing 3 out of 4 via impaling, dismembering with a knife and suffocation. Afterwards, he keeps the souls of the deceased in his realm, where he keeps on torturing them and tells them that they will experience a never-ending circle of getting hunted down and killed by him, all just because he enjoys it.
  • "The Man", from "Waiting for the Man", is introduced as a Satanic redneck who abducted three little girls. Said girls are almost mindlessly devoted to him; how that happened is not made clear, but it involves getting married to him, with a collar and bruise marks around each girl's necks. He sends them off to find another bride for him, and while waiting for them to return he brutally tortures and murders a bypassing, helpful man in a ritualistic way, for seemingly no other reason than being near him at the wrong time. Later, it is revealed that "The Man" murdered his real wife six years ago as a sacrifice for Satan and when John gets to his lair, he finds the aforementioned three girls murdered in bed, with the fourth girl only surviving because she ran away and was saved by John's crew in the nick of time. "The Man" is such a despicable individual that John and Jim Corrigan decide to outright murder him instead of just having him face the law. What worse is that, unlike magic-empowered villains like Jacob Shaw, "The Man" is, aside from being a Satanist, completely normal.

In Final Fantasy VII: Playable Characters, remove the following from Cloud Strife's folder since badass is no longer a trope:

  • Badass: Cloud is Sephiroth's only competition for the most powerful character in the setting, and considering every time they clash he overpowers him he may even be stronger.

Okay, please do the following, WITHOUT touching the franchise subpages themselves:
Please remove the following from Film for works with their own pages:

Please add the following to Film F To O:
  • G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra & G.I. Joe: Retaliation:
    • Once a U.S. soldier, Rex Lewis was apparently killed in a failed mission, but survived, secretly joining James McCullen's MARS Industries to research advanced nanotechnology, adopting the alias "The Doctor". Testing the mind-control application of this technology on his sister, Ana, the Doctor brainwashed her into aiding in his and McCullen's crimes for the next four years. Under McCullen, the Doctor developed the Neo-Vipers, brainwashed super-soldiers meant to do his bidding, and whom he horrifyingly killed if they were captured. After aiding McCullen's plan to wipe out four heavily populated cities, the Doctor used Ana as a hostage to cover his escape from the G.I. Joes, attempting to kill the Joes and his own allies alike as he fled. Betraying McCullen and taking control of MARS (which he refashioned as Cobra), the Doctor forced him into servitude, dubbing McCullen "Destro" and taking the identity of Cobra Commander for himself and seeking to Take Over the World. Escaping from prison in Retaliation, and abandoning Destro in the process, Commander orders Zartan, disguised as the President of United States, to wipe out the G.I. Joes, resulting in nearly all of their deaths. At a summit of world leaders, Cobra Commander reveals Project Zeus, a Kill Sat that he intends to use to hold the world hostage. As a demonstration of Project Zeus's power, Commander orders Zartan to activate it, destroying London in the process. When the surviving Joes interfere with this plan, Cobra Commander sets Project Zeus to destroy each continent's most highly populated cities to cover his own escape, abandoning his allies in the process.
    • Zartan, Cobra Commander's right-hand man, is a sadistic Psycho for Hire who gleefully takes part in Cobra's schemes. Helping to steal nanite warheads for MARS Industries, Zartan takes great pleasure in murdering any G.I. Joes who get in his way, notably stabbing Cover Girl through the back and taunting Storm Shadow for his refusal to kill women. Escaping from the Joes' headquarters, Zartan murders an innocent traveller for a disguise. At the end of the film, Zartan captures and impersonates the President of the United States. In Retaliation it is revealed that, when Storm Shadow was a child, Zartan murdered his uncle, framed Storm Shadow for it, and corrupted him into a life of crime, all for no discernible reason. While Impersonating the President, whom he regularly tortures for information, Zartan orders Storm Shadow to assassinate the President of Pakistan, sparking a civil war and framing the Joes for it, as part of a plan to free Cobra Commander from prison. On Cobra Commander's orders, Zartan orders an attack on the Joes, killing all but a few of them, and cheerfully tests Project Zeus on London, annihilating the city. In the end, after Storm Shadow turns on Zartan and calls him out for the murder of his uncle, Zartan simply taunts him before trying to kill him.
  • Mortal Kombat films:
    • Mortal Kombat: Shang Tsung is an Evil Sorcerer who drains the souls of his victims and seeks to destroy Earthrealm for Shao Kahn, Emperor of Outworld. Starting the film by killing hero Liu Kang's younger brother and draining his soul, Shang Tsung manipulates the heroes into joining Mortal Kombat so he can see a victory for his side and finally see humanity destroyed. During his tenure as tournament grandmaster, Shang Tsung frequently drains the souls of defeated fighters, even still-living men from his own side, that he absorbs into himself, the souls suffering perpetual torment. When he realizes he may lose the tournament, Shang Tsung proves himself a dishonorable coward by doing everything he can to avoid fighting Liu Kang and trying to challenge weaker fighters in his place before relying on using Liu Kang's brother's form to try to break him mentally.
    • Mortal Kombat: Annihilation: Elder God Shinnok, the God of Outworld and the father—and the one behindEmperor Shao Kahn, is in one form or another largely responsible for the events of the films as a whole. Having once decreed that his sons, Shao Kahn and Raiden, must be able to kill the other to prove themselves worthy as his heir, Shinnok disowned his son Raiden after Raiden hesitated to kill Kahn, and seeks little else but his blood in the present day. Shinnok has conditioned Shao Kahn to be Emperor—threatening to take his soul should he fail to measure up to his standard—and has overseen the successful invasion of one other Realm by his hand, deliberately violating the Elder God's sacred rules to allow Kahn to invade Earth anyways after Shang Tsung's defeat. Shinnok callously oversees Kahn murdering Raiden after he denies his final offer of peace, sneering that Raiden shall die alongside the humans he's dedicated himself to protecting.
Please add the following to Film P To Z (and replace Attinger's entry at Transformers with that below):
  • Transformers series:
    • Revenge of the Fallen: The Fallen, also known as Megatronus Prime, is this film's Big Bad and the film universe's first Decepticon. Originally one of the 7 members of the Dynasty of Primes, The Fallen betrayed his brothers and attempted to use the Star Harvester on Earth's Sun regardless of the Dynasty's code against taking life, solely because of his Fantastic Racism towards primitive humankind. Eons after his defeat, The Fallen corrupts Megatron, creates the Decepticons, and orders him to find the All Spark, making him responsible for the events of the first film. After he lures Optimus Prime to his death using Sam as bait, The Fallen sank an aircraft carrier, attacked several human cities, and slaughtered a sizable military force while acquiring the Matrix of Leadership to activate the Star Harvester again, fully intending to wipe out the human race.
    • Age of Extinction: CIA agent Harold Attinger is the creator of "Cemetery Wind," a black-ops group taking it upon itself to wipe out all Transformers upon the planet regardless of faction, all out of nothing more than Attinger's Fantastic Racism. Attinger entered a deal between himself, Lockdown, and Joshua Joyce's Kinetic Solutions Incorporated where Lockdown gives the remains of any Transformer he murders to Joyce for production into man-made Transformers, and Attinger would trade Optimus for the Seed needed to create more man-made Transformers to sell to the US Army. At first, Attinger may come across as a Well-Intentioned Extremist, but given that he worked with Lockdown, wanted to create Transformers of his own, would have millions of innocents killed by The Seed, along with his own attempts to kill any humans who could get in his way-such as Tessa Yeager by proxy of his Dragon Savoy and Cade Yeager at his own hand—and ordering Savoy to murder witnesses of his presence in Hong Kong, it is clear Attinger is a hypocrite, if not merely a Straw Hypocrite, out to get rich.
Please add the following to Video Games L To Z:
  • Transformers: War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron: Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, is the instigator of the first game's titular war. A merciless tyrant, Megatron is bent on the conquest of Cybertron and the destruction of the Autobots, with the resulting war ravaging Cybertron and devastating its population. After taking control of the powerful Dark Energon, Megatron infects Cybertron's core with the substance, further damaging the planet and bringing it under his control. When this corruption is cleared away, the core is forced to shut down, leaving Cybertron on the brink of death. As the Autobots try to leave the dying world, Megatron has their ships shot down, endangering the future of his own species to satisfy his hatred for the Autobots, before sending the monstrous Trypticon after them. When offered a truce by Optimus Prime in the sequel, Megatron refuses, blaming Optimus for the fall of Cybertron, declaring himself the planet's future, and trying to destroy the Autobots' last hope of leaving Cybertron alive. After discovering the damaged Trypticon, Megatron, not caring if Trypticon is still conscious or not, has him forcibly converted into a warship for his own use. As the Autobots flee Cybertron, Megatron stages one last assault on the Ark, doing his best to kill Optimus Prime and doom the Autobots. Ruthless and bloodthirsty beyond measure, Megatron is willing to doom his own homeworld and his entire species to satisfy his lust for power and hatred for his enemies.

Please also remove Transformers from Anime & Manga for works with their own pages, and then please add the following to Anime And Manga K To Z:

  • Transformers: Super-God Masterforce: Devil Z, the Decepticon Emperor, is an evil unrepentant Omnicidal Maniac. Stealing 8 Transtectors to create an army of humans merged with the power of Transformers, Devil Z later intended to cast aside the Godmasters as tools. Straight up Desecrating the Dead and later torturing his minions, Devil Z happily resorts to blaming his minions when he makes an error or miscalculation. Later when humanity proves themselves to be unpredictable, Devil Z decides that humanity is an existential threat and that he must Kill All Humans. When his own subordinates think he is going too far, he kills them without hardly a second thought, and displays absolutely no remorse for his actions.
  • Transformers: Unicron Trilogy:
    • Unicron is a powerful and ancient Transformer who feeds upon worlds and the negative emotions of others. Disguising himself as one of Cybertron's moons, Unicron created the Mini-Cons to escalate the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Hoping to consume both sides once he regained enough power from their conflict, Unicron's plans were foiled when the Mini-Cons gained free will and abandoned Cybertron. Unicron slumbered for millions of years before the Mini-Cons were discovered on Earth. Unicron soon sent his herald Sideways to Earth to keep the war going and help restore him to his full power. Once fully awakened, Unicron attacked Cybertron, killed Starscream, and briefly stripped the Mini-Cons of their free will. Although he was defeated thanks to the combined efforts of the Autobots and Decepticons, Unicron returned with a vengeance. Before the events of Energon, Unicron devoured the home world of Alpha Q and all of its inhabitants. Unicron was heavily damaged when Scorponok blew up the planet in order to stop him, but he was eventually revived by Megatron, who had hoped to turn him into a weapon. Unicron instead possessed Megatron and went off to destroy several planets that Alpha Q had managed to restore. Despite having the ability to restore the planets that he had previously destroyed, Unicron instead prefers to use his god-like powers to achieve the destruction of space itself.
    • The aforementioned Megatron, later known as Galvatron, is the brutal commander of the Decepticons. While he was arguably a Noble Demon in Armada, and a lesser evil than the aforementioned Unicron, Megatron still committed a number of crimes in that series, such as enslaving Mini-Cons to use against the Autobots in his war of conquest, trying to kill the Autobots' human allies, murdering Smokescreen with the Requiem Blaster, and trying to destroy Earth with the Hydra Cannon, only showing remorse when Optimus Prime sacrificed himself to prevent the final act. Upon his resurrection in Energon, Megatron discards any redeeming features he once had in his quest for power and domination. Leading his forces in destructive raids for Energon, Megatron plans to use the element to revive Unicron and use him as a weapon. Now a callous Control Freak, Megatron uses Unicron's power to subvert the wills of his followers, notably enslaving Scorponok and Starscream and trying to do the same to Inferno, torturing the Autobot to the brink of insanity. In Cybertron, Megatron, having developed a god complex, seeks to use the Cyber Planet Keys to accelerate the Unicron Singularity's expansion to end reality and reconstruct it in his own image. To this end, Megatron views his followers as utterly disposable, cruelly manipulating them, as well as several others, to serve his mad goals. Along the way, Megatron brutally guns down three Autobots, nearly killing them, to test his new weapon. In the end, when questioned on how his minions will survive his apocalyptic plan, Galvatron admits that he doesn't care if they do, proving himself to be a truly selfish monster. A power-hungry, uncaring, self-obsessed narcissist, Megatron demonstrates the worst that someone can sink to when they care only for themselves.

There are two reviews on VideoGame.Fire Emblem Elibe. The top one needs to go to VideoGame.Fire Emblem The Binding Blade while the bottom needs to go to VideoGame.Fire Emblem The Blazing Blade so I can disambiguate the Elibe page for a splitting project.
