This is simply what you think is the (not some of the, the) best example of any objective trope (so no YMMV or Trivia as they are not tropes proper and the former is already subjective) The "Crowning Example" if you will.
There could be several reasons you think an example is the best.
- You think it's the best in terms of illustrating the trope.
- You think it's the most well done.
- It's your favorite play in that trope.
- You just really like the source material.
Oh, several things before you list examples:
- Each troper gets one example per trope, no more.
- Don't go "no, this is," or phrases like that. This is about our own personal favorites.

- Pikmin, because the thought of missing a lone Pikmin is just that maddening. ~ King of the Mime Swing
- Video Game Cruelty Potential
- The Sims. The Sims. ~Meta Falcario, Insanity Prelude
- Stellaris. While some other games have explored the nuances of evils such as genocide, or dance around the topic, this game is rather unique in giving you multiple options of genocide. Such as forced mass neutering, having the species (more like race in this context) worked to the grave, harvesting a species' Life Energy with Chemical Processing, and good old fashioned Extermination. There's much, much more to this, but if it's not obvious, "Least Unhinged Stellaris Player" is a meme for a reason. ~Queen Ophiuca
- MadWorld. Sure, other games may have more potential, but in MadWorld it's a REQUIREMENT~ACW
- [PROTOTYPE] is this trope, to the point that (almost) all else seems like a cute puppy simulator. Just try to avoid collateral damage for one mission, I dare you. ~Ninjat_126

- NBC's continued refusal to allow U.S viewers to access a legit livestream of Olympic opening ceremonies "so our producers can provide context" (translation: they think the incessant, inane blathering of The Today Show hosts is helping. ~ Nlpnt
- Seconded so hard. They do the same thing when covering the sports. It doesn't help that a lot of the commentators know next to nothing about the sport they're commentating, and somehow think we won't notice. They also like to pretend that the Americans are always the favorites to win even when they aren't and treat every loss like an unforeseeable upset and complete outrage. (Not to mention in Rio they tried to get the Portuguese "Estados Unidos" changed to the English "United States" in the parade of nations so "viewers wouldn't get confused." ~ Cailleach
- NBC's continued refusal to allow U.S viewers to access a legit livestream of Olympic opening ceremonies "so our producers can provide context" (translation: they think the incessant, inane blathering of The Today Show hosts is helping. ~ Nlpnt

- Pokémon, with Darkrai, Ghetsis and Purple Eyes being popular examples, even if Ghetsis doesn't qualify as a Complete Monster. ~Kandi Korn 22
- In a series with no shortage of these, Starlight Glimmer takes the cake. When she first shows up, she's revealed to be essentially a cult leader with a silver tongue, a hatred of individuality, and the disturbing ability to remove a pony's cutie mark, which represents the essence of who they are (meaning she's essentially taking their souls). While those who fell for her rhetoric are shown that she doesn't have their best interests in mind all the cutie marks she's taken are returned to their rightful owners, she herself escapes, and returns at the end of the season with a massive boost of magical power, enough to match Twilight Sparkle. With it, she completes and modifies the time travel spell of an ancient sage, and uses it to disrupt the past, with Twilight repeatedly trying to stop her and failing, causing her to see the alternate timelines that result from those failures, each worse than the last.
- Simone Lenoir, Lena Dupree, and Jacques are probably some of the most notable examples of this trope in the entire Scooby-Doo franchise. ~ Mattman_the_Storyteller

- Apollo Justice's Kristoph Gavin. For an idea of this, he gets so mad that as he raises his fist to bang on the witness stand in frustration, the dishes that had previously fallen on the ground behind him rise up into the air and fall down as he slams his fist on the witness stand. Please note: this man has no magic powers. ~Darkurai
- Same game series, different perp: Damon Gant. How many villains do you know that have a breakdown speech where they stand there laughing and clapping maniacally for an entire minute? ~ Willy Four Eyes
- Same series (notice a trend?), different villain: Manfred von Karma. After he spends hours grinning smugly at you, the guy snaps like a twig on slow-motion and bangs his head against the wall after screaming at the top of his lungs. ~ vicnog
- Really, pretty much any villain in this series. Redd White with his strange headdesking thing, Dahlia Hawthorne in 3-1 AND 3-5. The Tiger's seizure-inducing breakdown, and Daryan Cresend and his hair. Going everywhere.
- Gotta give it to Matt Engarde clawing his face out, although all of the breakdowns in the series are great. Considering it's kind of a once an episode type thing, the whole SERIES deserves to be the Most Triumphant Example, although this troper is tempted by Light Yagami and Marlo Stanfield. ~rickdakirb

- Virtual Youtuber
- Web Animation/hololive is the first thing you think of when someone mentions vtubers, and don't pretend it isn't. ~ Scrounge
- Visual Innuendo
- Fever for the Flava by Hot Action Cop. A complete list of all the Visual Innuendo in the music video would be as long as the rest of this entire page, although I suppose I can highlight the part where a girl energetically strips while poledancing around a street sign (for 'Seaman Drive') while in the background construction workers (under a sign reading 'Men at work') use jackhammers on the ground until they strike a water main which explosively geysers into the air over everyone. - Amadeus Wolfgeist ~ Mattman_the_Storyteller
- Margit the Fell Omen. It's an open world game so it's actually up to you when you get up to him, but if you just obediently follow the guidance of Grace along the critical path you'll be cheerfully hacking your way through soldiers, wolves and maybe the occasional troll, only stepping off to the side to do the odd mini-dungeon where the boss is little more than an upjumped Elite Mook. You might even have encountered Flying Dragon Agheel, who's more of a test of horsemanship than anything else. Then you reach the front gate of Stomveil Castle, where this withered old potato will kick your kidneys out through your nose. ~ Arcane Azmadi
- Wake Up, Go to School, Save the World

- Subnormality ~ sinesofinsanity
- This strip from Scandinavia and the World. ~ HotelCalifornia
- Walking Spoiler
- Lennon is far more difficult to explain than Jidan, the protagonist's Disappeared Dad, without spoiling the second half of Tweeny Witches. His given name, status as a Chekhov's Gunman, and even gender are massive spoilers on their own. - IúkaSylvie
- Onyx Prime. Just knowing his true origin and identity is enough to turn one's perception of the entire Hasbro Comic Universe completely upside down. And this is all only revealed in the final year of this thirteen-year continuity. ~ Fireside
- Walking Techbane
- Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Take a moment to think about all the things he makes reference to (the Evil Overlord List, countless movies, shout outs to everything you can think of). This is a place where even the smallest fighters are fielded with a Wave-Motion Gun, the guns scale up to and including a Wave-Motion Gun designed to depopulate planets (that fit onto a battleship the size of a few city blocks) and a Kill Sat with a Wave-Motion Gun that can wipe out whole fleets. ~ Unknown Troper
- Thor's Hammer/The Mana Cannon from Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Phantasia. A Wave-Motion Gun so big that if you power it with the world's mana - which is what it was designed for - it kills the World Tree producing that mana. The only time we know of that it was ever safely fired was at a lower capacity, and powered by the Summon Spirits instead of drawing from the local mana pool directly. ~ Sylvia Viridian
