Izuku's Crew

     In General
  • Badass Crew: Thanks to training under Silvers Rayleigh, they all become a strong group of badasses who can take on anything thrown at them.
  • Expy:
    • Izuku is still himself like in the canon of My Hero Academia but thanks to being the leader of the crew, he has some traits of Monkey D. Luffy.
    • The Seraphim are all descended from the DNA/Lineage Factors of The Seven Deadly Sins, even made in their likenesses as well.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Under the training of Rayleigh, they all become a tight-knit group of comrades.
  • Friend to All Children: Hibiki and Riku especially have a soft spot for children, and all the kids grow to adore Eri.

     Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya

Quirk: Quirkless/Devil Fruits

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/izuku_2.jpg

A boy who was sadly diagnosed Quirkless in a world where superpowers are the norm. A freak accident while on a cruise with his family sends him shipwrecked on a remote island, where a chance encounter with a magical fruit makes achieving his dream of being a hero possible.

  • Adaptational Badass: He starts Quirkless like in canon but ends up eating a mystic fruit that gives him the power of all the Devil Fruits from One Piece.
  • Composite Character: While he's still Izuku Midoriya, he also takes some traits from both Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace.
  • The Leader: Not only is he considered the pirate captain of his crew, but he's also appointed Class President of Class 1-C.
  • Man of Kryptonite: Harnessing the power of the Flame-Flame Fruit means he can pretty much easily bypass Shoto's strongest ice attacks, as he proves during the Battle Trials.
  • No One Gets Left Behind: How he wound up shipwrecked. As he and his family were evacuating the sinking cruise ship, he noticed Hibiki had been left behind and rushed to help her.
  • Superpower Lottery: Eating the Devil Fruit grants Izuku the power of every Devil Fruit from One Piece canon (and even from non-canon as well).
  • Un-Sorcerer: Izuku was part of the 20% of the human population born without a Quirk. However, he manages to gain power in the Devil Fruits but still technically qualifies as Quirkless since the powers he gained are not Quirk-based.
  • Wrong Context Magic: His Devil Fruit powers are not actually a Quirk but rather powers gained from another world transferred through the fruit he ate.

     Hibiki Hayashi

Hibiki Hayashi

Quirk: Compass

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hibiki_8.png

A girl that Izuku rescues from the sinking cruise ship.

  • Crossover Relatives: Her grandfather is Bang Silverfang.
  • Expy: Being skilled with a bo staff as well as being given what is essentially the Clima-Tact makes her one to Nami.
  • Magic Compass: Her Quirk gives her an internal compass, allowing her to pinpoint what she needs to find easily.
  • Martial Arts Staff: Before being shipwrecked, she was skilled in the use of a bo staff thanks to her family owning a dojo specializing in all forms of training. However, while on Sabaody Archipelago, she is given the Clima-Tact by Sumiko, which expands her skillset.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Izuku, who saved her life when they were little.

  • Expressive Mask: His jester mask can emote to convey his feelings.
  • Expy: The fact that he asks girls if he can 'see their panties' when they first meet as well as his skills with music makes him one to Brook if he was a masked jester instead of a skeleton.
  • Happily Adopted: Rayleigh and Shakky found him after his family drowned and raised him as their own.
  • Musical Assassin: He is skilled with all manner of musical instruments, which he can use in conjunction with his Quirk.

  • Sticky Fingers: Much like his ancestor, Yaato is quite a skilled thief. In his words, there's nothing he cannot steal.

  • One-Steve Limit: Changed her Quirk's name from 'Creation' to 'Gaia' when she learned she shared the name with Momo's quirk.

  • The Big Guy: When in his Sun Form, he's easily the tallest of the whole crew.

  • The Power of the Sun: Like his ancestor, Escanor, Kazuya gains power from the sun itself.

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Izuku's apparent death opened his eyes to how society looks at certain people that doesn't fit their criteria, and he is now a very vocal advocate for the Quirkless.
  • Expy: Being trained by Red Leg Zeff and having talents in cooking makes him one to Vinsmoke Sanji.
  • Heel Realization: In childhood, he started as the same Jerkass as in canon, but hearing about Izuku's apparent death made him rethink his worldview.

The leader of the Shie Hassaikai

  • All for Nothing: His plans to revive the Yakuza die before they even get off the ground, not to mention that he earned himself the ire of Big Mom and Kaido, who are old friends of his boss Kaito.
  • Brought Down to Normal: Has his Quirk taken by Ben.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Suffers this after his operations are easily torn apart by the efforts of Izuku's Crew followed by his Quirk being stolen by Ben. Later, when put at Kaido and Big Mom's mercy, he's left a pathetic sobbing, screaming wreck of a man.
