- The Three Moons Initiative, Divine GOI of Moral Guardians (adopted by nightelf37)-The Three Moons Initiative is seeking Earth's continued survival and peace, and they do so in a very moralizing way. They made an SCP be used on media to rewrite its plot to eradicate immoral activity, their motives are also largely anti-war and are implied to believe they're pretty much babysitting humanity at this point.

- Xerxes I, God-King Of Dominance Through Furniture
- Offering to Tropers/J99908 if he wants to adopt
- Roberto, God of Knife-Wielding Psychos (Hall of Bladed Weapons, Chaotic Evil)-Roberto is a serial bank robber who was literally designed to be an insane robot. He's Ax-Crazy, and he has a trait where he threatens people with knives and stabbing. Sometimes to threaten people, sometimes just because.
- Dr. Julius Hibbert, God of Funny Flashback Haircuts: Dr Hibbert is the Quirky Doctor of Springfield, a Black Republican modeled after Cliff Huxtable. When we see him in a flashback he is almost always demonstrating some level of silly haircut, even a couple years ago with Maggie's birth. It acts as a contrast to his semi-straight man routine. Proposed 1/3
- Other ideas: Clara Clayton, Jennifer Parker (Schoolmarm, Faint in Shock),
Anansi
Kwaku Anansi, God of Sneaky Spiders (Anansi, Father of Spiders, Great Weaver, the First Spider-Man)

- Symbol:

- Rivals: Lolth, Shelob
- Friendly Rivalry with: Loki, Maui, Huehyecoyotl
- Enemies: Billy, Chakravartin/the Golden Spider, Ungoliant, Pennywise/IT, The Other Mother
- Uncertain relationship (will decide later):
- Compared to the Eurasian and American continents' mythologies, African Mythology is rather obscure in popular culture. But there is a deity that has gotten a fair bit of attention in Kwaku Anansi, a Trickster God from Western Africa and Akan mythology. He is a spider famous for many things, perhaps most noticeably collecting every story in existence from a bargain with the gods. Anansi is typically depicted as a friend of humanity, though different parts of Ghana believe him to be a murderer and someone to be wary of. What's constant is that the Father of Spiders gets by by outwitting tougher and stronger creatures, however he is not immune to being outwitted by especially clever people.
Ideas people are interested in(PM Me, need approval on the forum, you can find an alternative for the trope if you want)

- Lord Ilpalazzo, God of Off-Time From Evil
- Precia Testarossa, Goddess Of Proving Even Evil Can Be Loved
- Captain Marvel, God of Deaths That Stick
- Adopted(needs permission)
- Yorick and Ampersand, Divine Survivors Of The Gendercide: adopted from Excessive-Menace. The plot of the comic book is that an unexplained plague has wiped out every mammal with a Y chromosome from the face of the Earth, even sperm cells. Yorick and his monkey Ampersand are the only survivors. Sort of
- The Authoritymembers , Divine Team of Decompressed Comics (adopted from The Wikia Editor)
- Luvbi, Goddess of Transforming Objects into People (adopted from Excessive-Menace)
- Children from Lord of the Flies, We Just Need to Wait for Rescue OR Disaster Democracy: adopted from Phantom Fire
- Blaise Zabini, God of Outdated Fanon Portrayals (adopted from Sawkman)
- The Professor Sada/Turo A.I, Goddess/God of Copies More Virtuous Than Their Template (Hall of Clones and Counterparts)-The big twist is that the original Sada/Turo is Dead All Along, and what you're talking to is an A.I copy. The original was morally questionable at the best of times, having being obsessed with the Time Machine despite the chaos it could bring and being neglectful parents. Their copy may have the same memories and personality programmed in, but they realize their templates flaws and sacrifice themselves to clean up the original's mess and they try to be more of a parent to Arven (adopted by nightelf37)

- Other: The Backrooms, Kentucky Fried Politics, Mystery Flesh Pit National Park, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Sun Vanished
- Cartoon Network ideas
- Billy, God of Innocuously Important Episodes: Adventure Time occasionally has formerly minor plot points becoming a lot more important in hindsight. Billy is The Hero's Idol for Finn and Jake, but he only shows up alive and well in a couple episodes with "His Hero" as the main focus. It's an early episode before the series became more long story focused, but it proves important. Not only does it introduce the Lich via flashback, but Billy proves to have an important impact on Ooo larger than his actual appearance. BTW, if you think he fits The Hero's Idol more so, I won't blame you
- Gumbald, God of Phlebotinum-Induced Stupidity: PB's "Uncle Gumbald" is one of the last Arc Villains. Made to be one of Bonnie's original family, there were some "disagreements" between the two. Gumbald concocted to use "dum-dum" juice, which can turn candy people into idiotic, simpler forms. Aunt Lolly and Cousin Chicle got it, however he was Hoist by His Own Petard and became the dumb Punchy the Bowl. He only regained his sense of self when LSP's World-Healing Wave (It Makes Sense in Context) happened
- Mr Jelly, God of Overtly Conspicuous Braces: Knightbrace is a KND villain and failed dentist. His obsession with dental and oral hygiene got him kicked out of dental school when he tried to put braces on babies, and now he lives to be a Knight Templar of dental hygiene, also trying to force braces on people. He wears a massive dental brace that he can use a throwing weapon
- Doctor Who ideas
- Harriet Jones, Goddess of Always Introducing Herself (Hall of Phrases, Lawful Good)-MP and later Prime Minister Harriet Jones was a political figure in the RTD era. There was a Running Gag of her introducing herself as "Harriet Jones, (insert current political job)" followed by "yes, we know who you are". Even after her political downfall she does this
- The Weevils, Divine Holders of Minor Villain Roles: Weevils occasionally have an episode or two featuring them, but are otherwise this trope. They'd be mooks if they weren't non-aligned and are mainly there to set up a bigger problem for the plot to focus on, and stories can start with Weevil hunting
- The Torchwood Three Team, Divine Group Of Raunchier Installments (adopted from Phantom Fire)-the show Torchwood is a spin-off of the RTD era Doctor Who series. While a companion spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures is Lighter and Softer, Torchwood was Hotter and Sexier. It dealt with more adult issues, had a higher rating and sex became a plot point on more than a few occasions
- I am considering restoring and reworking the Silence under either Amnesia Danger (their old trope) or "The Scream" Parody. For the latter, the writer has admitted they are inspired by The Scream, mainly in how their distorted face is a clear reference to them, alongside their grey/men in Black motif. For the former, they are such effective infiltrators because their hypnotic suggestions mean you forget they exist when you aren't looking at them. In terms of the profile I would mainly consider it to be a dual one between the regular priest Silence and the Kovarian Chapter that served the Arc Villain role
- Pokemon ideas
- Arcanine, God of Asian Lion Dogs: Arcanine is a stout, maned, and tiger-striped canines based on Japanese iterations of the temple lion statues. They're very brave and extremely loyal to their trainer, and very territorial in the bargain. Before Earth Drift, Arcanine was even said to be found in China. It later got a regional variant with a fluffy mane as Growlithe and a Rock typing, with Hisuian Arcanine having a prominent horn and jaw. Basically making it even closer to the asian lion dog archetype
- Heatmor and Durant, Warring Gods Of Animal Jingoism: restoration and expansion. These single-stage Pokemon are mortal enemies that are based off an ant-eater, and an ant. Heatmor is Fire type and Durant is Bug/Steel because of the obvious advantage anteaters have on ants, though Durant is fast and packing Ground type moves. If you run into hordes, one will even attack the other. Draft of old Durant here: Durant
- Clawitzer, God of Superpowered Shrimps: Clawitzer is a Water type Pokemon based off the pistol shrimp. The actual creature's ability to use their claw like a cannon is exaggerated and it becomes a claw twice the size of the thing, with an ability that boosts the power of pulse moves like Water or Dragon Pulse
- Lusamine and Mohn, Co-Deities of Hair Color Spoilers: adopted from Phantom Fire. It's easily missed on the first playthrough, however fans with a watchful eye will notice that in Pokemon Sun And Moon the only four major characters with green eyes and blond hair are Lillie, Gladion, Lusamine, and Mohn. Late in the game it's revealed that they're a family. Lusamine is explicitly noted to be Older Than They Look (looking as if she's in her late teens or early twenties when she's really in her forties), which only makes the reveal more obvious. The anime didn't even try to hide this, as it showed a picture of Lusamine and her children together only a few episodes in and had Lillie note that Gladion is her brother in his introduction episode.
- Koraidon and Miraidon, Co-Deities Of Being Conditioned to Be Weak: notable for being mascot legends with you since almost the start, being Ride Pokemon who are Fish out of Temporal Water. The two are incredibly powerful Pokemon but they were severely traumatized by a more vicious member of their kind and start rather weak and incapable of fighting. Over time you help them retain their will and spirit, however even at the end you can't use them in a battle.
- Terapagos, God of Crystalline Creatures (Hall of Metals and Minerals)-Terapagos is the secret legendary and star of the Indigo Disc DLC. It (or what's implied by its gender ratio, its former species) is the source of the Terastel phenomenon. Its shell and much of its body is made out of crystals, and in Terastel form each crystal segment represents a Pokemon type. The reason for all those crystal structures in Area Zero is Terapagos.
- Real Life ideas
- Justinian and Theodora, Divine Elite Man-Courtesan Couple: one of the most well known Eastern Roman emperors. Theodora was an actress who began life as a sex worker. Justinian would fall in love with her when he was a prince and they eventually eloped, becoming one of the empire's best power couples. She'd have her husband push through many reforms in women's rights, including an outright ban on forced prostitution
- Edward V and Richard of Shrewsbury, Deified Royal Princes With Fates Unknown: the titular princes of the trope. Edward V and Richard were the sons of Edward IV, and thus his heirs after he died. But due to certain engagements of their fathers their parents' marriage was declared invalid and they were disinherited...and soon vanished from records. Much like Amelia Earhart what happened to them is one of those old mysteries. Much of the Historical Villain Upgrade of their uncle is that he had them offed. Maybe they died of natural causes...or maybe not. There were pretenders during Henry VII's reign claiming to be the lost princes. What happened to them is one of those famous British mysteries alongside Jack the Ripper's identity
- Erik Weisz, God of Escape Artists (House of Theatre and Spectacle)-known by his alias Harry Houdini, he is perhaps the most famous escape artists in history. A Stage Magician who made his name and bank by escaping from seemingly impossible situations, including dares to escape various police jail cells, secure transports and personal restraints. Sometimes he'd do with next to or even no clothes, making "wait, how did he get out?" all the more burning. "Pulling/doing a Houdini" is synonymous with escapes, and even here he's the namesake of more metaphorical escapes
- Eric Arthur Blair, God of Authors Heavily Associated With A Specific Work: George Orwell is a highly influential socialist writer from the 30s and 40s who wrote a variety of different works. However he's almost always talked about in light of 1984, with the term "Orwelling" referring to the ways dictatorships work because of being the author of that book. It's a book he wrote while very ill, and which he felt disappointed with when he'd finished it. To a lesser extent, he's also remembered for Animal Farm. The literal dozens of other work he did is a lot less remembered
- I am considering Queen Victoria for Victorian Britain. So, why does Queen Victoria fit Victorian Britain, one of the most commonly explored historical periods of Britain? One of the longest running monarch, she ruled from 1837 to her death 1901. Much of 19th century Britain is remembered for the accomplishments, society and failings of that era. She pushed the "lie back and think of England, prim and proper society" stereotype of the era, though personally she didn't exactly live up to the stereotype. And no, she never said she wasn't amused. How do I word this to not come off as redundant?
- Historical Domain Character ideas: Cicero (Uncoventional Courtroom Tactics), Livia and Tiberius, Claudius (Mother Makes You King, Standardized Ruler), Otto von Bismarck (Realpolitik), C. S. Lewis (Bulverism), Jules Verne (Speculative Fiction), The Bermuda Triangle
- Star Wars ideas
- Pong Krell, God of Mocking Their Attacker That They Don't Have The Guts: a truly odious Insane Admiral, he holds a hatred for clones and proves the Arc Villain of the popular Umbaran arc. He sees them as tools and acts the part of General Failure to kill them through Unfriendly Fire in hopes the Separatists will have him in their good graces...so he can be on what he thinks is the winning side. Eventually his clones rebel, and Rex puts his gun to him...with him confidant that he won't pull the trigger. He doesn't...but Dogma does.
- Galen Erso, God of Kidnapped Scientists: adopted from Roku Alhazared. Draft here. Galen Erso is one of the key developers of the Death Star, but definitely unwilling. His False Friend Krennic forcibly recruited him by offing his wife and threatening his daughter, also pointing out if he won't do it someone else will. He gets his revenge by pretending to be a broken man so he can put in an Achilles' Heel.
- Prince Xizor, God of Alluring Scents (Hall of Persons of Desire, Neutral Evil)-an important political figure in the Legends continuity and a secret advisor to the Emperor/political rival with Vader, Xizor's species the Falleen have a Love Is in the Air effect; they naturally make pheromones that make them alluring. A Fallen Jedi used this in lieu of a Mind Trick. Xizor is a charismatic and charming prince who exploits his pheromones to get what he wants and boost his lady's man. He even tried seducing Leia with them, but that ended painfully
- I have a couple of tropes for Mara Jade Skywalker. One is Expanded Universe. In the old Star Wars EU Mara was one of the major characters introduced there despite not making it to the new Disney canon, introduced in the Thrawn Trilogy (in many ways, the start of the old EU). She had a Dating Catwoman with Luke, eventually having a Heel–Face Turn and becoming the love of his life. The other trope in mind is Significant Green Eyed Red Head. One of the most prominent characters in Legends, her most distinctive physical features are her red-gold hair and green eyes.
- Star Wars ideas (need to check if trope taken): The Crew of the Ghost, the Inquisitors (Criminal Found Family or The Fellowship Has Ended, Mutant Draft Board), Gideon (Didn't See That Coming or The Remnant), Kyle Katarn (Oddly Named Sequel 2: Electric Boogaloo)
- Other ideas
- Loki Odinson (Variant L1130) and Sylvie Laufeydottir, God and Goddess Of Being Shipped With Your Counterpart (Hall of Clones and Counterparts)-two of the main leads of the Loki series. Sylvia is a genderswapped version of Loki, and the Loki in this series is a variant from the timeline created when the Avengers went back in 2012 to get the Space Stone. Fans frequently shipped them together, which is only helped by the fact there is some serious Screw Yourself subtext. It ends up becoming somewhat canon
- I am thinking of giving Johnny Bates/Kid Miracleman Helpless Good Side, but I do not know how I should word it. A Deconstructed Character Archetype of the Kid Sidekick, Johnny is normally a sweet kid but his Superpowered Evil Side is a complete psycho. Bates is timid and horrified by this other persona, but he's also still a child due to Kid Miracleman having remained in superpower form since the early 60s, forcing Bates' body to remain in stasis for most of it with his mind helplessly trapped in Kid Miracleman's. He's bullied by his alter and forced to use summon him to avoid being assaulted. It's clear the only solution Miracleman has is to Mercy Kill the poor kid
- Glamrock Freddy and Gregory, Co-Heralds of the Meta Twist: Adopted from Marvel Fan 2003. The main protagonist of Security Breach has Freddy actually be an ally for the first time in the series, while all the other animatronics are crazed and out for your blood. The game repeatedly teases the prospect that he may actually be or become evil, but it never happens. While he can attack you if he runs out of power or if you flub an upgrade segment, it's made clear this happens against his will like a reflex rather than being deliberate. The Big Bad tries to take control of him like the others, but Freddy manages to fight it off. Also, the game only has one night
- The Black Forest, Divine Land Of Wishing Stars: adopted from Doodslayer 136
- The Elder Things, Divine Race Of Ancient Astronauts (Hall of Extraterrestrial Behavior)-the Elder Things are one of a number of precursor races. In the Earth's prehistoric history they visited the Earth, used it to cultivate their Shoggoths and colonized it. In a twist to this trope their impact to human existence was accidental. That being, they kickstarted life on Earth trying to develop food for the Shoggoth. The ruins of their civilization can be found on Antarctica
- Randolph Carter, God Of Having Had Such A Nice Dream: Randolph Carter is an Author Avatar of Lovecraft who had visions of a glorious city in a dream. His motivation is to find the city he saw in his sleep but was snatched by the dream lords. It ends up being a Surprisingly Happy Ending
- Joseph Cooper, God Of Experiencing Time Dilation: a major plot point in Interstellar, to which Joseph Cooper is the protagonist, is the effects of time dilation. Though rather than getting close to light speed, it explores gravitational time dilation. In their search for finding a new planet for humanity he and his crew end up on a world very close to a black hole, resulting in huge time skips as years pass on Earth while hours pass on Miller's Planet
- The Sonic for Hire Main Cast, Divine Representatives Of Crossovers Which Combine The Verses
- I am contemplating the Amalgam Universe for Fusion Fic. My reasoning is that this is a rare official version, as it is a co-operative project from DC and Marvel which amalgamates and merges the character roles of their heroes and villains, such as combining Superman and Captain America. However, I am uncertain whether to make this a dominion profile for the universe as a whole, or to choose noteworthy characters from the series as the trope's representative. What do you think?
- Note to self: Check if these ideas/tropes are taken first
- Restoration ideas: Prince Eric
- Other ideas: Master Shifu (Critical Hesitation Blunder), The Cat (Mysterious Animal Senses), Monster Cereals (Defanged Horrors)
- Unsure what choice to make: Rusalka Schwagelin (Being Tortured Makes You Evil or Shadow Pin), The Great Bastards (expansion) or Prince Yriel (Royal Bastard)
- Ideas (check first if trope is taken)
- Other ideas in general: Hunter S. Thompson, (Gonzo Journalism), MartÃn Fierro (Gaucho), Pele and Maui ("Just So" Story, rework and expansion), The Anzati, The Vorlons, The Old Ones (Eminently Enigmatic Race), Andy (Toy-Based Characterization)
- Might or might not want to work on them (you can adopt the ideas if you want to)
- Rick and Evelyn Carnhan O'Connell, God and Goddess Of Actionized Adaptation: The 1999 Mummy series is an adaptation of the original Mummy movies from the thirties, and Rick and Evelyn are the protagonists of the new series. The original movies were more horror based, but Rick and Evelyn are adventure archeologists who do battle with the Mummy and other Egyptian threats
- Solomon Ibn Gabriel, God of Magical Jews: the true identity of Caster from the Black faction is Avicebron, better known as Solomon Ibn Gabirol. He was a famous medieval Jewish poet who is said to have dabbled in Kabbalah and created a Golem. This being the Nasuverse he's a sorcerer obsessed with creating the perfect golem
- Henry F. Potter, God of Tyrannical Town Tycoons (Hall of Tyrannical Figures, Neutral Evil)-Henry Potter is a Corrupted Character Copy of Ebeneezer Scrooge, an unrepentant miser and grinch who's the richest and meanest man in town. He owns the only bank in town, and holds near complete control. If the protagonist never existed he would hold a complete monopoly, and as Potterville shows this is a bad thing
- Clippit: Clippy or Clippit was a feature of Microsoft's Office suite of programs between 1997 and 2004. Meant to be a learning tool or mascot, it suffered some major backlash as while popular with kids adults hated it and it became cool to make fun of it in the media. Microsoft soon came to mock its own creation and get into the fun of mocking Clippy, ironically giving it more of a personality. However, nowadays Clippy is considered an ingenious programming exercise and described as a precursor of modern voice-controlled software assistants. Basically I am wondering which trope if any fits it best; Creator Backlash, or Vindicated by History?
- Boxer, God of Diligent Draft Animals (Hall of Ungulates)-Boxer is an Allegorical Character for the working class that Stalin uses and abuses. He is a Dumb, but Diligent draft horse respected by the entire farm for his diligence and steadfast nature; being sold off to the glue factory by pig Stalin shows how low the pigs have sunk.
- Snowball, God of Smart Suids (Hall of Ungulates)-Animal Form is an allegory for the Russian Revolution and
portraying Stalin as the soyjakthe corruption of the Soviet Union. The pigs are uprising and treated as intelligent animals. Snowball, the Leon Trotsky stand-in, is the most intellectual of the pigs who are rebelling
- Comic ideas: some I might want to work on after familiarizing myself/reading since I was already interested in reading them. Feel free to adopt via PM if you want to work on them. Note that Weird Warrior is planning on the Doom Patrol for Dysfunction Junction
- DC Comics
- Warren White, God of Losing Lips (Hall of Body Absence, Neutral Evil)-The Great White Shark was once Warren White, a simply white collar crook who exploited the Insanity Defense in Gotham...and got sent to Arkham. He was a Pariah Prisoner who was brutalized, and eventually deformed into something looking like a shark. He lost his lips to frostbite, furthering his "humanoid shark" appearance and became an influential mob boss who fits in with the other flamboyant foes
- Savitar, God of Contrasting Future Selves
- The Dominators, Deified Race Of Sinister Liplessness (Hall of Body Absence)-the Dominators are one of the "evil alien races" of DC Comics. They are an amoral race of scientists and would-be conquerors and as a species they lack lips, instead having savage teeth exposed at all time
- Jade Nguyen, Goddess of Deadly Scratches: Chesire is a Master Poisoner who makes good use of her assassination skills. She has Femme Fatalons that are poisoned, and other weapons coated with poison. As such, she only needs to get a scratch on you with it for the attack to be fatal
- Other DC ideas (not sure on yet): Mera (Characterization Click Moment), Red Tornado (Color Character), Eclipso (Artistic License – Space), OMAC (Corrupted Contingency), The Forever People (Hippie Name)
- Marvel comics ideas
- Adam Bernard Brashear, God of Old Stories With A New Twist: The Blue Marvel is one of the many Superman expies of Marvel, but with a twist. Namely, what if Superman was black, and played into prejudices of history? A Korean war veteran turned superhuman by an antimatter experiment, he was a sixties Flying Brick but because of the racial tensions of the time was made to go underground. This is the in-universe justification for his Remember the New Guy? status
- David Charles Haller, God of Different Powers For Each Personality
- Other Marvel ideas considering: Virginia "Pepper" Potts (Sexy Secretary), Betty Ross (Dating What Daddy Hates)
- Image Comics
- Astro City, Celestial Superhero Capital of the World
- Eduardo Rodrigo Suarez Hildago, God of Costumes Themed On Their Culture
- Bomb Queen, Goddess of Outlaw Towns (Hall of Locations)
- Valiant Comics
- Raymond Garrison, God of Wolverine Expies
- Other
- Atomic Robo Tesla, God of Tesla Technology (Hall of Machinery)-Atomic Robo is the robot superhero and protagonist of the series. Built by Nikola Tesla himself who gets the Historical Badass Upgrade, many of his adventures center around the technology Tesla created
- Nemesis the Warlock and Tomas de Torquemada, Enemy Gods Of Moral Greyness Against Evil: a restoration and expansion of the latter. Nemesis is a rough Anti-Hero who hates humanity and has considered killing him, however he has allies to ground him and leans towards Horrifying Hero. His arch-enemy is a xenophobic Knight Templar who hates aliens, has the rhetoric of purge the xenos and has a similar ideology to the Nazis. One of his past lives as literally Hitler, and before that the OG Torquemada so no surprise there. So yeah, Nemesis is flawed but Tomas is utterly evil
- Cassidy, God of The Practically Alive Unliving (Hall of Unliving Beings)
- Jesse Custer, God of Being In Conflict With His God
- Other comic book ideas (check if taken first): Minutemen, the Trust (Who Watches the Watchmen?, Ancient Conspiracy), Diabolik (Devious Daggers), Philip Solar (Atomic Superpower), The Spider (Proto-Superhero), Dr Tachyon, Bagabound, Captain Trips (Impossibly Tacky Clothes or Mind over Manners, Crazy Cat Lady, Phlebotinum Pills), Michael Moran/Miracleman (Renamed to Avoid Association), Herr Starr, Arseface (Smokescreen Crime, Happily Failed Suicide)

- Romulus, Divine Forebearer of Republicanism OR Fighting for a Homeland
- Trope Namers for The Republic. The Republic in social structure was quite family-oriented with various clans becoming centers of webs of patronage, a patron/client relationship that has modern answers in political machines and The Mafia. While Rome's system was oligarchical by modern standards it had for its time a reputation for justice and stability and its elaborate checks and balances were often admired by Greeks whose cities were often troubled by chaos
- Fighting for a Homeland: The legends surrounding the foundation of Rome, either Romans or other outlaw bands.
- Astarte, Chemosh, Dagon, Hadad, Milcolm, Qos and Yahweh, Divine Representatives Of National Gods (Hall of Divine Roles)-This was suggested by The Wikia Editor. It was quite common across the ancient Middle East (pre-Abraham) to have patron deities for the different nations and city-states of the time. They were the national deities of the various Semitic peoples living in and around Canaan, and the conflicts between their worshippers form a large portion of the Hebrew Bible. The last one of course took over, but originally he was simply a war god assigned dominion over pre-monotheism Israelites
- Enkidu and Shamhat, Co-Deities of Sex as Rite-of-Passage or Womanliness as Pathos
- Sex as Rite-of-Passage: Shamhat's seven-day sex bout with Enkidu is the first step in making him a civilized man.
- Womanliness as Pathos: There is a wide variety of examples of the trope, beginning with Gilgamesh himself being a despotic tyrant who raped any woman he wanted, whether or not they were married or a relative to his allies. As part of the gods' plan to stop him, a wild man named Enkidu encounters a prostitute and has sex with her, which (to the animal spirits) now made Enkidu "domesticated" and no longer wild. This civility causes Enkidu to become outraged when he learns of Gilgamesh's action, and so he goes to challenge him. The two fight and become Best Friends. During their adventures, the Love Goddess Ishtar becomes enraptured with Gilgamesh, but he spurns her. The gods see this as a great insult and punish the two by having Enkidu fall fatally ill. Enkidu's death causes Gilgamesh to become an Immortality Seeker, and this becomes his primary motive throughout the rest of the tale.
- The Queen of Sheba, Goddess of Ambiguous Judaism: he question of the Queen of Sheba's Judaism is actually a topic of contention among many scholars in real-life. Historically, she definitely wasn't born Jewish, and as Solomon is known to have had a bit of a habit of marrying pagan women, many believe she wasn't by the time they married, either. At the same time, the Jewish community of Ethiopia traces their cultural lineage back to her, with much of their cultural ethos revolving around the idea that the Queen of Sheba did convert to Judaism at some point during or shortly after her marriage to Solomon and sought to bring Jewish wisdom back in Africa.
- Izanagi, God of Blaming The Child For Childbed Death: Izanagi is the wife of Izanami, who holds Death by Childbirth. She died giving birth to Kagutsuchi, a fire god. Izanami was enraged and would later try to rescue her from the underworld. He didn't just hate Kagutsuchi, he sliced him into bits in his rage. Many deities and volcanoes emerged from his corpse
- Dumuzid and Adonis, Divine Example of Being Weaker In Adaptations: a case of Greek syncretism, Adonis is an adaptation of the Canaanite version of Tammuz/Dumuzid. In Middle-Eastern lore Dumuzid/Tammuz was a major deity, the main consort of Ishtar and a god of shepherds, fertility, growth and decay. His Greek version of Adonis isn't a god, but merely a mortal if a strong and attractive one and is somewhat pushed around by deities interested in him

- The Dothraki, Divine Far-Eastern Invaders OR Divine Riding-Centric Cultures (Hall of Conquest and Conquerors)
- Reasoning 1: the Dothraki are Essos barbarians based off the original Mongol hordes, albeit The Theme Park Version. Found in the eastern portion of an eastern landmass, they're horse-loving invaders who are a constant threat to the Free Cities of Essos, and not dismissed as a threat by Westeros either.
- Reasoning 2: The Dothraki live and breathe horses and don't let you forget about it. They worship horse-gods, and talk about practically everything in terms of equine metaphors. And changing the word from Khan to Khal isn't fooling anyone, either. They even refer to what we call "doggy-style" as "horse-fashion", and most will have sex in no other way.
