Some rules for this edition of the Elimination Game:
- Scorekeeper picks the theme. Please keep it reasonable because the last thing we need is drama. That is to say keep it from being political, NSFW, franchise-specific (crossovers can work if well-known and broad enough, and with a readily available list to choose from) or with obtuse specifications.
- The game begins with at least twenty-five entries, depending on the scorekeeper's discretion. One entry per post, and up to two posts per poster unless 48 hours have passed, then anything goes until there are 25 entrants. Wait at least two posts before posting a second entry.
- At the nomination phase, a maximum of two entries from the same franchise can participate at any given round, and if at all only one such entry per person. In the event that the theme can be restrictive, this rule can be relaxed as per the scorekeeper's discretion.
- You are not required to nominate an entry in order to participate.
- All votes add one point to an entry, and take two points away. Those points can be distributed however you wish, so long as there is one -2 or two -1s. No exceptions!
- Invalid votes must be edited within two scorekeeper updates in order to count.
- Any entry that reaches zero is eliminated. Scorekeepers send them off with an evil message [[evil:like so]]
- Space your votes between at least five other peoples' votes, unless 24 hours have passed with not that much activity. In any context, no doubleposting.
- If the host makes a post stating the intent to tally, they have up to an hour to do the tallying. Otherwise the post will be null and void and the round shall proceed.
- If there's no update for 48 hours, the game can be safely called off or taken over by a willing participant. Scorekeepers must temporarily transfer duties to a different poster if they can't do so for a while.
- The one entry remaining wins!
If it's been 24 hours since the last game and the waitlisted troper hasn't posted, it's free game.

Okay, I will like to potentially suggest something that I would community consensus on before the next round.
Since we now have 25 rounds in this game, I kinda want the next round to be an all-winners round where the winners for all of the rounds so far shall participate in this round together. However, in doing so, there pretty much won't be any nominating in this round since the nominations are kinda there by default.
If too many people object to this, I can do some other theme, but for the time being, I would like to hear people's thoughts on this. And perhaps if y'all are fine with it, perhaps there can be something to the Battle Royale from Hunger Games Simulation where we have an all-winners round every 26 seasons.

I kinda object to the theme right now, since the game would be kinda messy and somewhat unfair, as characters would be competing with places, vehicles, and corporations. As for characters too, individual winners would be competing with pairs.
Given that we have loads of rounds focusing on individual characters, if the all-stars round was just focused on them, I wouldn't object to the theme though, but we would have to wait approximately 6 more rounds before we can do such.

I think that in this kind of game, where players have an active part in eliminations, having a "Battle Royale" round might sound biased due to all the entries not following a theme other than being the winners of the previous rounds.

I kinda like the concept of having a round with one entry from all previous rounds each, but maybe a "second chance" round between entries that didnt win might work better. It would still leave options for the nominations and mean that this rounds winner would not automatically be an entry who won before.

Yeah, I was thinking it would just be everybody who was in a game, but ultimately couldn't win. They could range from first boots to runner-ups who nearly won at the end. I wouldn't exactly allow any winners even if they lost within a different round (such as Tails and Edgeworth/Phoenix).

Like my previous round I ran, if we get more than 25 entries before the 48 hour mark, then I'll allow for more entries, but nobody is getting a third entry unless the 48 hour mark has passed. If anybody makes a third entry before the 48-hour mark (in which I'd highly suggest looking at the timestamp in this post to know when 48 hours have passed, and not try to make assumptions), then that entry will not count.
