Rejecting a video already gives the uploader an automatic PM telling them why the video was rejected (if a reason was filled out)

I was told to come here to make change requests for the Video section.

Request: Can the "Featured" attribute not be chosen by the uploader but decided by the votes? So the best-rated video will be featured instead of whoever uploaded last (assuming that most users click this option because it's free).

I guess I can switch off the featured option if I remember to do so. That's not really something I pay attention to while watching videos

I feel like the two videos for WandaVision Episode 1 "Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience" should be merged into one with one video taking the tropes of the other. Especially since both are called "Oh, Arthur, stop it".

Per the Surprisingly Realistic Outcome cleanup thread, almost every video listed for that trope is misuse and should be deleted. Listed below is the analysis:

  • Videos without markup are total misuse that should be summarily deleted.
  • [awesome] marks valid examples we don't need to touch.
  • idea marks invalid examples with SRO as a secondary trope, meaning we only need to remove the trope instead of deleting the video outright.
    Video Examples
  • Nigel Cannot Fly Anymore - Rio 2: At the end of the first film, Nigel was flung into a plane's rotors, shredding his wing feathers. While it was treated as Amusing Injuries at the time, the sequel reveals that this has caused Nigel to permanently lose the ability to fly. Such an injury would realistically have killed Nigel and severely damaged the rotors, so the relative realism isn't enough. It's also a Career-Ending Injury shoehorn.
  • The Alnus Hill Massacre - Gate: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why modern armies no longer use swords and shields... Everyone knows modern armies would utterly decimate medieval ones. Nothing subverted.idea
  • You redtagging me? - Bosch: Legacy: Bosch heads to his house in Hollywood Hills where he's told by a LA City engineer that his residence needs to be closed since the foundations have some damage from a minor tremor last night. Bosch is warned that his house needs to have the foundations fixed or have it demolished and remodeled. This example is just a Plot Twist and isn't set up for a subversion to be jarring, so it doesn't count.
  • Rejected security clearance - Bull: Taylor Rentzel's security clearance application to assist the DEA as an analyst/contractor was not considered because of her earlier association with a wanted criminal hacker in a previous TAC case. Taylor didn't disclose it officially since she met the hacker off the books, but she was cleared off previous criminal charges related to it. Even so, the DEA is still concerned by her previous association. Everyone knows criminal association severely damages your credit. Nothing subverted.
  • I Thought They Couldn't See Us - Tuttle Twins: (The video doesn't have a description, but it's about Benjamin Franklin teleporting the protagonists to a household to show off his new fireplace model, only to have the family there freak out from them suddenly materializing.) This example contains both Science Fiction and a character reaction, instantly disqualifying it.
  • Gumball smacks into the water - The Amazing World of Gumball: Gumball smacks into the water because of how high he was instead of diving into it. The diving board wasn't labeled "Too high" for nothing! No public pool would host such a blatantly unsafe diving board in the first place, so it isn't realistic enough. It's also a Soft Water subversion shoehorn.
  • Liberty Spider-Man Ad - Advertising: Doug was lucky the spider bite only hospitalized him. Liberty Mutual does this all the time with their ads. Nobody expected that spider to grant Doug powers.
  • The Real Jungle Book - How It Should Have Ended: Really Bagheera? You really think a pack of wild wolves would just raise a helpless infant human to be like one of them? HISHE is known for making one Deconstructive Parody after another. Not surprising at all.
  • Dirt Road Anthem in Real Life (no source provided): Per comedian John Crist, the lyrics of Jason Aldean's Dirt Road Anthem describe him committing a number of crimes so blatantly that he would get his ass arrested in real life. The cop is not impressed by his "It's country music" excuse. Deconstructive Parody, not surprising.
  • Craig In Icy, Cold Water - The Great North: When Craig refuses to get rescued by Beef after his boat sinks and chooses to stay in the freezing, cold water, he eventually pass out from the cold since his immersion suit isn't going to keep him warm forever. Nobody thought it would. It's realistic, but it isn't surprising enough.
  • No Longer A Pirate - The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists: When The Pirate Captain is discovered to have been pardoned by Queen Victoria, he is automatically disqualified from being Pirate of the Year and is also stripped of his Pirate career. Pirates didn't have such ceremonies historically. While it's not fantastic enough to be impossible, it's implausible enough to fail the realism test.
  • Bribing a cop - Fargo: Showalter tries to bribe a cop after getting pulled over, which makes things bad for him. Character reaction involved, disqualified.
  • He's Not Alright - Family Guy: Peter destroys the Caddyshack Gopher with a missile launcher, but the Gopher does not get away and it becomes serious rather than harmless 80s fun. Family Guy is cynical enough for us to expect such a Plot Twist. Not surprising.
  • Muscles Too Huge - The Fairly OddParents!: Jorgen may now have extreme muscles, but they're too huge for him to reach his face when his cat scratches it. Getting muscles that huge involved Applied Phlebotinum, instantly disqualifying this example.
  • Bart gets a heart-attack - The Simpsons: What else did Bart expect after consuming a large quantity of sweets? Consuming sugar like that isn't going to lead to a heart attack. It'll only build up problems that make it more likely to have heart disease many years later. Bart could only have died that fast if it was sugar poisoning, note  which the episode doesn't suggest. The Artistic License – Medicine disqualifies this entry.
  • Raining Jellybeans - CN City: As Dexter and Bloo learn the hard way, jellybeans are much more harmful than water in terms of rain. Science Fiction technology made the jellybean rain, disqualifying it.
  • Miss Whoops and Mr. Nervous - The Mr. Men Show: Mr. Nervous tries to help Miss Whoops by loaning her his glasses, but this fails because they have different prescriptions. The Mr. Men are anthropomorphized blobs, making them too fantastic to count.
  • "A Healthy Dose Of Reality" - The Amazing World of Gumball: Sorry Anais, but kissing frogs won't turn them into princes. The anthropomorphized creatures in this show are too fantastic already.
  • Salem makes a vet faint - Sabrina the Teenage Witch: This is what happens when an animal speaks in front of a human. Talking animals are already too magical for SRO, not to mention the character reaction.
  • Summer Is Over - Ed, Edd n Eddy: Sorry Eddy, but you can't change the weather no matter what. Ed, Edd n Eddy is too cynical for us to expect Eddy to succeed in changing the weather, so it doesn't count.
  • "She's dead!" - Archer Dreamland: Lana may have died in Archer's coma dream, but said dream is based on reality. Adventures in Comaland is already too fantastic to count.
  • Marge Inhales Fumes - The Simpsons: Marge combining a bunch of cleaning chemicals with no gas mask inevitable causes her to breathe it in and knock her unconscious. This show is full of gags like this one, so it's not surprising in-context.
  • Hunter's Identity - The Owl House: With no proper identification outside his tattoo or his coven garbs, Hunter's fellow coven mates aren't going to take him seriously — assuming he's a Loony Fan with a temporary tattoo. The most high-profile positions require absolute identification methods beyond your physical appearance, and because Hunter has always been known as the Golden Guard (since almost no one ever sees him without his mask beyond Kikimora) they won’t see him as their superior. Especially since his Magic Staff (his main form of ID) is in Luz's possession. Character reactions, unqualified.
  • Dead Space 3 - Look Both Ways! - Dead Space 3: Stasis only works on one object at a time. When you slow down a single truck on a highway full of them... Well, "oops" is one way to put it. Logical Weakness for Time Stands Still shoehorn.
  • Mr Burns' Flying Monkeys - The Simpsons: Mr. Burns unleashes his winged monkeys on Homer and Mindy when they ask for room service. The monkeys promptly fall out of his window and plummet to their deaths, as monkeys are too heavy to fly with wings that small. Deconstructive Parody that isn't surprising due to this show's cynical nature.
  • Peter Skips Dialysis - Family Guy: Peter decides to be a no-show for a dialysis treatment, only to pay for it dearly. Skipping crucial medical treatment has severe consequences. Nothing subverted.
  • Lynn Pukes - The Loud House: Lynn eating a bunch of cheese while stalling from going on the roller coaster and riding a cow that tries to shake her off gives her a severe case of indigestion. Valid. It's surprising because people in cartoons often come up perfectly stable after incredibly shaky experiences, realistic because dizziness causes disgust, and it's an outcome. [awesome]
  • Shaving Will Be Fun - The Fairly OddParents!: Timmy tries to shave, but hilariously cuts himself. Realistic, yes. Surprising, no. This example is a ZCE.
  • Ghost Trick - Ghost Trick: Here's what happens when a helmet travelling at the same speed of a frickin' BULLET hits ya right in the face! Nobody expected anything different.
  • Blu Tries To Kiss Jewel - Rio: When Blu (who is socially awkward and had been told of a "dating service" by another bird named Pedro) attempts to kiss Jewel, she immediately brushes him off and angrily states that they just met. Anthropormized animals and character reactions. Not qualified.
  • JP Working at Digital City - Craig of the Creek: JP takes Mark's uniform and tries to cover his shift at work, reasoning that his height lets him pretend he's old enough. Nicole immediately complains to the manager for allowing a child to work there and Mark is fired because he hasn't been to work in five days due to being stuck. Valid. The example sets people up to believe JP would cover for Mark, only for Nicole to immediately report him. [awesome]
  • CWACOM2 - My holograms! - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2: When it comes to companionship, holograms are no match for the real thing. Especially in this case. Such holograms are already too Science Fiction to count.
  • Bleeped - Big City Greens: Bill comes to the conclusion he can't control Cricket's cussing no matter what, and has him realize he's old enough to make his own choices now. Calling the Old Man Out causing a downplayed Heel Realization shoehorned into SRO.
  • Purple Guy cutscenes - Five Nights At Freddys: Well, Ennard CERTAINLY didn't take into account that his disguise with a dead person's skin would eventually rot. Eugh... The animatronic wearing the skin was already too fantastic to count.
  • Moloch turns his head around - Spooky Month: Pump tells Moloch to spin his head around to prove to Skid he's possessing Dexter. When Moloch tries, he instead breaks Dexter's neck, killing them both. Demonic Possession is too magical to count by default.
  • Way of the House Husband - The Way of the Househusband: If this were a less wholesome series, those women would've all started violently chucking items at Tatsu while screaming their heads off! Character reaction, unqualified.
  • Who R Zoo? - SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob repeatedly sneaks into the animal enclosures at the Bikini Bottom Zoo, which in real life, is not allowed. This setting is too fantastic to count by default.
  • No Joker Immunity for you - Robot Chicken: After the Joker gloats of his inevitable escape from prison after being defeated, Batman decides to settle things legally, leading to the Joker receiving the death penalty Deconstructing Joker Immunity is just deconstruction.
  • NY Doesn't Like Bitsy's Face - Central Park: While the mayor is willing to go with Bitsy's plan to sell Central Park to her, he points out he won't be able to make that deal if she's the most disliked person in New York and people won't support the idea of her buying it. Being disliked makes large purchases harder. Nothing subverted.
  • Max and 99 Disclose - Get Smart: Even top secret spy organizations dedicated to saving the world from evil in a comedic parody have an HR department. The HR department is just a part of the comedy, making this video a ZCE.
  • Healin Good Precure - Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure: When Nodoka asks her parents to let Asumi, a literal spirit who was born a few days ago with no place to stay (And trying to hide it), to let her stay at their house for a while, the first thing they ask about is whether she's a runaway, how long she'll be staying, or whether her parents are okay with it. It's understandable that parents would be worried about their child bringing home a random stranger and whether said stranger's family knows that their child is missing. Nodoka manages to make up a cover story to assuage their worries, and they do believe it. Asumi's spiritual status makes this video too magical to count, even disregarding the subjective character reactions.
  • The Stop-Time-Clock - Dick Figures: Red freezes time, not realizing that it freezes himself also. Logical Weakness for Time Stands Still shoehorn.
  • "I'll go first!" - Nitro Rad: James makes an effort to get plenty of other YouTubers to appear as guests on a Roundtable discussion. He then proceeds to ask what amounts to around 15 people about any games they've been playing recently. It goes about as well as you'd expect. This conversation wasn't scripted, so it lacks the elements necessary for a subversion-based trope like SRO.
  • Facing a Chess Master - Central Park: Paige is worried that if Molly loses a game of chess, she'll hate the game forever. When Molly loses to Constantine, Paige feels horrible for her loss, but Molly points out that she knew she was going to lose since she's going up against a chess master, and she continued the match because she wants to see how he would beat her and declined to have a draw with him because she wouldn't learn anything from it. Character reaction, unqualified.
  • I'm Really Sick Now - Central Park: Cole pretends to be sick so he can stay home and stop his mom from killing any rats. But because Paige is actually sick, his exposure around her causes him to catch her cold and get sick for real since he didn't taking any precautionary steps to keep himself healthy. No explanation for why it's surprising, so it's a ZCE.
  • Clifford parody - Robot Chicken: Why you shouldn't have a GIANT dog for a pet. I was under the impression that the Square-Cube Law excludes giant dogs…
  • Home Alone parody - Robot Chicken: Why you shouldn't just go to sleep right after setting up deadly traps in your house. Nobody would have set up those kinds of deadly traps in the first place.
  • Home Alone parody - Family Guy: The movie, but with competent robbers. From the general tone of Family Guy, nobody expected anything different.
  • Escaping Their Pursuer - American Dad!: In "Downtown", when trying to escape their pursuer, Haley hits their pursuer with a car, but despite getting hit, she gets back up like nothing happened and chases after them. But she's still human so she can't catch up to a car and she gets tired from running. Okay? What else would anyone expect?
  • Toy Story - Toy Story: "Not a flying toy." Anthropomorphized toys are already too magical.
Once the videos are all handled, please remove the Reality Ensues entry from Videos Needing Review, upon which we'll finally be done with dewicking that disambig.

Analysis of what I didn't get the last time, with markup remaining the same:

    Remaining Videos
  • Crispin's Supportive Parents - The Great North: After Crispin came out as gay to his parents, his parent had a brief time processing their feelings, and then they show their support by launching illegal fireworks on their front lawn, which resulted in them accidentally burning down their mailbox and being fined thousands of dollars. Open-Minded Parent deconstruction shoehorn.idea
  • Visualize Your Success... - The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part: When Emmet worries about his brainwashed friends and Lucy, Rex tells him not to worry about them and imagine his success in taking down the entire palace with the Master Breaker power, which frees Batman, Lucy, Benny, Unikitty, and Metal Beard from their brainwashing, while they praise him. When it actually happens, though...the real result isn't pretty. Both too fantastical and too psychology-based.idea
  • BFS Problems - The Owl House: When Luz opens a witches fashion magazine that transforms her appearance into a warrior with an enormous sword on her back, she ends up falling over due to the weight and size of the sword. Too magical.
  • Lex learns Flash's identity - Justice League Unlimited: While in Flash's body, Lex takes the opportunity to learn his secret identity...some guy, he doesn't know. Body Surf is too fantastical to count in the first place.idea
  • Just Ducky - Tom and Jerry: After getting rescued from a near-drowning experience, Tom gets sick. Truth in Television, as pneumonia is frequently found in near-drowning victims due to lingering water in the lungs. The way Tom is rescued involves too much Toon Physics to count.
  • Prince Pondicherry's Palace - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: A chocolate palace would not last long in India, as chocolate melts in hot conditions. A chocolate palace is already far too fantastical to count.
  • Is It a School Night? - Bob's Burgers: After successfully reuniting a father and his daughter together, Bob realizes he did all of this during a school night and Gene has a big test tomorrow that's worth half his grade and it's already past midnight. Plot happens, ZCE.
  • The Tower - Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor: Turns out trying to take out a group of huge orcs while tied and unarmed isn't a good idea Plot happens.
  • Family Guy - Family Guy: [Deconstructed] Peter Griffin attempts to dive into a vault full of golden coins in a similar fashion to a certain cartoon duck. Turns out there's little to no difference between hitting a hard pavement and diving into a wide pile of coins. Pooled Funds deconstruction shoehorn.idea
  • Beta Prank War - Bob's Burgers: For stealing their iguana, the Beta decides to prank the Alphas. Unfortunately, their pranks places them on probation with Dean Dixon. Actions have consequences, not surprising.
  • The Magic School Bus - The Magic School Bus: Sorry kids, but that's how the courtroom works. Too much Hollywood Law to count regardless.
  • Totally Spies! - Totally Spies!: Kyle Katz is WAY smarter than the average villain in this cartoon. Plot happens, ZCE.
  • The Most Popular Girls in School - The Most Popular Girls in School: Rachel learns the hard way of why you should never carry your luggage in a garbage bag. Actions have consequences.
  • Spiderman Homecoming - Spider-Man: Homecoming: Spiderman trying to web swing but reality ensues when there's nothing to web onto. Logical Weakness shoehorn.
  • The Simpsons [ToH III (King Homer)] - The Simpsons: Scene from The Simpsons, Treehouse of Horror III: "King Homer". In this parody of King Kong, Homer (playing Kong) escapes from his shackles and goes on a rampage through the city. He finds Marge and tries to scale the building but when you eat solely humans, that doesn't translate into a good health. Too fantastical per the Square-Cube Law.
  • Power Puff Girls - The Powerpuff Girls: The Mayor of Citiesville explaining to the girls that stopping a bad guy who stole $400 does not give them the right to destroy millions of dollars worth in city property. Destructive Saviour shoehorn.
  • The Other Guys - The Other Guys: The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson in 'The Other Guys' try to make a dramatic jump off a building and end up just falling to their deaths. Nobody expected anything else.
Once these are done, the Reality Ensues wick can go.
