Anger Management is a fanfiction of The Loud House.

It focuses on Lynn stealing Lincoln's stuffed rabbit Bun-Bun, then when it ends up damaged through landing on a formula Lisa made, he beats her up so badly that it hurts to walk. This embarrasses Lynn and she spends a sizable chunk of the story trying to make him angry again so they will fight again, because she wants to win this time.

Lincoln, meanwhile, is grounded for beating up Lynn, but he wants to go to a convention, so he's trying his best to be extra good so that he will be let off his grounding early.

This story has become infamous in the fandom for its mean-spiritedness, in a similar vein to The Boy Who Cried Idiot and Lincoln is Done.

Not to be confused with the series or the film.

Anger Management provides examples of

  • Adaptational Badass: Lincoln is not good at sports in canon and can even be beaten by his six-year-old twin sisters in the show, but in this story, he can beat up his stronger sister Lynn, who in canon easily beats him at boxing.
  • Adaptational Jerkass:
    • Downplayed for Lincoln. While he spends most of the fanfic being good, it's only to prevent himself from being grounded, and he is very violent towards Lynn over a stuffed animal. The real Lincoln is rather diplomatic.
    • Lynn spends the majority of the story trying to deliberately make her brother mad enough to pulverise her, just to stroke her own ego.
    • Lynn Sr., who canonically is a very nervous, non-violent man, spends the entire story being proud of Lincoln for "sticking it" to Lynn, even when he knocks her unconscious.
    • Luna, Lana, and Lincoln's school friends are impressed that Lincoln beat up Lynn and (with the exception of Luna and Clyde) they don't sympathise with Lynn for being beat up. Lana even thinks it was "awesome" that Lincoln beat up Lynn.
  • Adaptational Wimp: In canon Lynn is normally a tough sports girl who could lift her second eldest sister Leni but in this story is easily beaten by her younger brother Lincoln twice who is shown to be bad at sports.
  • Alliterative Title: Conversed when Ronnie Anne watches a show called Stellar Sentry.
  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Ronnie Anne owns an orange stuffed toy hippo named Lincoln, who was apparently in a pile of multicoloured hippos.
  • Annoying Laugh: Luan and Lynn are often described as laughing in an "obnoxious" way, as is Flip once.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Interruption: Lincoln says, "No one can spoil my fun, not even—-" and then Clyde sees Lynn and says, "Lynn!".
  • Baby's First Words: Downplayed— Carlitos says his first words that weren't an imitation of someone: "Wuv Nie Nie. Wuv Wonnie Anne."
  • Baby Talk: Lynn mocks Lincoln by saying things like "Does wittle Winky want his bunny wabbit?".
  • Backhanded Apology:
    • When Lincoln is made to apologise to Lynn, he says, "Sorry I didn't hurt you more".
    • When Lynn is made to apologise to Lincoln, she thinks, "Sorry you aren't lying on the floor crying like a baby."
  • Bathroom Search Excuse:
    • Lynn runs out of the gym in embarrassment, claiming she has to pee.
    • Lynn runs into the bathroom later to spray water on her face, but claims she needs to take a dump.
    • Later, when Lynn tries to go into Lincoln's room and Lynn Sr. catches her, she claims she was going to the bathroom.
  • Batman Gambit: Lucy tricks Lynn into thinking of a rhyme for her poem by telling her Lincoln is a better poet and making her jealous.
  • Beef Bandage: Discussed when Leni wants to make Lynn a steak for her eye, having heard of the treatment.

  • Berserk Button: Lincoln's is anyone hurting Bun-Bun. He beats Lynn twice for it.
  • Big Sister Bully: Lynn beats up Bun-Bun and teases Lincoln about it, and after he beats her up she decides to try to annoy him to purposefully make him want a rematch. Ways she does this is sneezing on him and stinking up the bathroom.

  • Butt-Monkey: Lincoln is constantly tormented by Lynn's pranks and later she temporarily gets Luan involved.
  • Call-Back:
    • Lori is working at Gus's Games 'n' Grub, which she did during "The Waiting Game", and rigs the raffle so that Lincoln wins. This is what starts the plot by allowing him to go to the convention.
    • Lincoln's "victory undies" he wins in "Undie Pressure" are a plot point— he keeps his tickets in them and then later Lynn steals them.

  • Calling Your Bathroom Breaks: After making herself sick, Lynn says she has to "take a wicked dump".

  • Cut Himself Shaving: Lynn tries to pretend that she got her injuries falling downstairs and accidentally punched herself in the eye.
  • Dark Parody: Lucy says, "Cross my heart and hope to die, as crimson tears flow from my eyes" (downplayed though, since the original poem still involves injuries and hoping to die).
  • Denied Food as Punishment:
    • As punishment for beating up Lynn, Lincoln has to not snack between meals.

  • Everyone Has Standards:
