Tropes used by this author include:

  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: In crossovers, Harry either almost dies from Death Eater's or Voldemort's assault or has the Wizarding Britain turn against him, either from Death Eater's takeover, or its own archaic culture affecting him, causing Harry to either run away or be imprisoned in Azkaban.
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: His Harry Potter crossover usually has Harry gain a power originating from the other half, either from an item (Sacred Gear) or a case of Adaptation Species Change (Tarnished).
  • A Nazi by Any Other Name: Harry straight up calls or refers to Death Eaters as a "group of Fascists" whenever they are mentioned or when someone reminds Harry of them.
  • Arch-Nemesis: The Dark Eaters, even under new leadership after Voldemort's death. In some crossover, those who claimed to be under Imperius were lying and managed to take over the Ministry of Magic bloodlessly, and even follow Harry into the crossover world to kill him if he chooses to escape.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Harry has what Hermione calls "saving people thing" where he cannot stay idle when there are innocents in a conflict. this is how he usually involves in the crossover's plot.
  • Crossover Couple: In his Harry Potter Crossover, Harry tends to end up with a girl from the other half, from Raphtalia to Tiamat.
  • Experienced Protagonist: Most of the Harry Potter crossover has Harry as an adult and either works as an Auror or at the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries.
  • Fix Fic: Most of his crossover has this element, usually in the form of one half of a crossover informing the other half's casts about what they know so they won't be unprepared, or one half of the crossover end up doing something at the other's setting that lets them befriend enemies from canon, causing canon allies to be involved earlier or changes tides for the better in general.
  • Mind Rape: When Legilimens is performed hastily or not carefully, the brain of the spell's target can convulse painfully before they black out. Sometimes it leaves a permanent damage.
  • Rational Fic: To an extent. Most of a half side of a crossover's canon problem tends to be solved or avoided by thinking rationally.
  • Revenge Fic:
    • Some of his Harry Potter crossovers blend "Wrong Boy-Who-Lived" & "Powerful Harry" where Harry either gains powers & allies & powers from the other half of the crossover, or leaves the wizarding world for another and has a better life there.
    • Some of his One-Shots also count as one, from Boîte de Conserve where Adam Smasher come back alive after defeated by V only to end up in Hannibal Lecter's lap to Übermensch where Nazarick easily take over Vought International as Ainz curbstomps Homelander.
  • Take That!:
    • His Harry Potter crossover tends to depict Magical Britain in a less favorable light, such as Harry getting a public backlash from a case of mass Sins of the Father after he adopts Delphi after her parentage becomes publicly known.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Harry, usually either from the lasting effect of Adaptational Angst Upgrade event or just Harry being an adult in general.
  • Truer to the Text:
    • Snape is mostly depicted as Jerk with a Heart of Jerk and Hypocrite with little to no Adaptational Nice Guy most fanfics uses on him. Heck, Quatermass sees Snape's feelings towards Lily Potter not as love, but as obsession.
    • Rather than outright evil, Quatermass' depiction of Dumbledore is that he's fully fixated on the "Boy-Who-lived" prophecy out of inflexibility or desperation.
