If anybody would be so kind as to explain what the scene is that led to Courage's ascension, I need to know what the specific video is, so I can replace the link.

Here's a draft. I'll post it on the Pantheon within 24 hours if no one objects:

• Haman Karn’s preference for her Qubeley brings Aila nasty memories of piloting her former Qubeley Papillon and being mind-raped by the Embody System. Given how hellish Aila’s past was thanks to her former MS, she hates Haman’s MS with a passion and seeks to join the GUAG Robot War Division in order to destroy it.

Yeah I guess when I made it I thought that there would be people who didn't play Lords of Shadow and didn't know Gabriel was turned into Dracula but you got me thinking and well I guess I will take down the Dracula portion sense people can easily put two and two together with the profile set up

Interesting proposal. Badass Angster has been nothing but redirect. However... remind me one thing. Aside of Ieyasu, who else does Mitsunari craves revenge on? His tirades against 'those who oppose Hideyoshi' isn't exactly revenge material, but more like his gigantic reverence/worship to Hideyoshi. Unless he's the type of guy who considers "Voicing an 'against' opinion to Hideyoshi means slighting Hideyoshi thus all of Mitsunari's beating on them means revenge against Hideyoshi"...

Not to mention Mitsunari's vengeance quest is capable to be stopped as The Last Party shows, he stopped thinking about vengeance, so he doesn't have a complete hold over that. However, the fact that he's currently the 2nd most popular BASARA character now may hold merits. I thought that it would be more proper to give Mitsunari a seat about how he... uh... 'worships' Hideyoshi to the point of... you know. Reverence God or something...? But does that even has a trope...?

I was basing Mitsunari's promotion off of his portrayal in 3/Samurai Heroes. In that game, his vengeance against Iyeyasu was all consuming. It was frequently pointed out in game that he hardly eats or sleeps since his campaign began. Even more ridiculous, if you follow his Blue Path, he'll turn the same level of vengeful rage against Masamune Dante, who simply insulted Hideyoshi. Something like "Hideyoshi's forces are in poor sorts these days". And yet he goes after him with the same abandon that he did for Iyeyasu.

Though you do bring up an important point, at how the second half of his character is little more than devotion to his fallen master. It is a bit debatable.

Considering that SB 4 is coming and Mitsunari is taken off from the times he's still serving Hideyoshi, picking him as Revenge Before Reason replacement before Sasuke will only make him eligible in a way of temporarily. I'm trying to get him a seat that will last forever for his characterization.

Let's see, as far as the reverence goes... Psycho Supporter? Do we have a God for that one? That would sum up Mitsunari well enough, encompassing both 3/SH and the upcoming 4...

Good question. But another question is where that would be. It's not so much of an emotion, is it?

Moving houses have been a pretty common practice so if Mitsunari would change house, that's fine.

He probably would be in Mentalism or Philosophy house.

I searched every house it might be in, and we're in luck. I would say Psycho Supporter for the House of Mentalism. Should I do the honors or you?

I'm not sure if being a crybaby counts as a Tender Tears. I thought Yayoi's main draw is how she is a crybaby, and knows it, but even knowing so, she'd still never back down. Does that count as Tender Tears?

Tender Tears imply kindness and sensitivity, and that is her major characterization and distiction behind her crybaby tendencies (please reread the article for Tender Tears); however, your line of thinking is more Plucky Girl (which she is, just like every other Pretty Cure heroine out there).

I know this sounds more fitting to the main Trope Pantheon page discussion, but... any other Precures do you think deserving to get in?

There's Miyuki Hoshizora/Cure Happy for the For Happiness and the Earn Your Happy Ending tropes (this Pantheon), Mana Aida/Cure Heart (not sure about this one because her series is still far from done) for Heart Beat-Down (Love Pantheon), and Erika Kurumi/Cure Marine for The Fashionista (Personal Appearance Pantheon). That should keep us busy.

And if Innocent Flower Girl is not taken, Tsubomi Hanasaki/Cure Blossom can count (she could name the meanings of tons of flowers after beating down a monster of the week). Although as of current, the strongest candidate to enter next would be Setsuna Higashi/Cure Passion/Eas for Becoming the Mask...

Hulk is already God of something, might be Unstoppable Rage, while Asura is more specifically a combination of Unstoppable Rage and Roaring Rampage of Revenge.

I'm stunned that Asura hasn't turned his sights on Kyubey yet. The thing's mission is to transform girls into freaks and then go to horrific lengths to make them cry.

I say again: cry. Asura HATES crying. And he has a daughter with a fair amount of power behind her. Just the idea of something like Kyubey existing should be more than sufficient to put Asura on edge.

Yeah, ain't no way Asura wouldn't go Destructor mode on Kyubey immediately after hearing of his activities... especially once he leanrs of Madoka and Homura's own suffering at "his" hands.

... I wonder what those three's first meeting (Asura, Madoka and Homura) would be like.

Likely happen through Mithra. It's stated right on the Magic Pantheon that she's friends with Madoka, and is probably at the very least civil with Homura. I mean, even Homura'd find herself hard-placed to mistrust her. So naturally, Mithra would want to introduce her father to her two friends. Asura'd probably approach the two of them with pretty much the same attitude as he does anyone who is not his family: curt irritation.

Then, blissfully unsuspecting, the topic turns to how Madoka and Homura came to enter the Pantheon.

Asura goes Six-Armed Vajra and wrecks his way through the Pantheon of Mentalism to find the little white Mephistopheles and mash it into paste before it can lay a paw on Mithra. He does so, but much to his fury, the thing regenerates. So he tries again, this time in Mantra. Doesn't work. So he goes Six-Armed Mantra, which again, ends in failure. He's about to take it up to Destructor, when Yasha makes the mistake of trying to talk him out of it. So Asura turns his sights on him. In the end, it takes Yasha, Augus, Ryu, Akuma, and Kyubey's solemn word that he will never pursue Mithra to bring Asura's rampage to a stop.

The last paragraph sounded way too Looney Tunes-esque...

Really? In what way? I tried to make it as Asura's Wrath-esque as possible. Just think of it as:

Asura busts down the door, a shard of it whipping by Kyubey and coming dangerously close to impaling him. He doesn't even flinch. Kyubey looks over at Asura, who is seething with fury. Kyubey asks if there's anything he can help Asura with. Cue Asura's theme.

Six-Armed Vajra beats up Kyubey until Asura can Burst. Doing so, he smashes Kyubey into a smear. Kyubey appears behind him, telling Asura that it is futile, because he has many bodies. Asura decides that since punching Kyubey didn't work, he's not at a high enough level, so he takes it up to Mantra. Battle in Mantra-mode, Burst. Kyubey is destroyed again, reappearing seconds later and asking why Asura is so mad at him anyway: he didn't do anything to wrong him. (Hit the B button for "Shut up, Kyubey!") Whether you hit it or not, Asura takes it up to Six-Armed Mantra and obliterates Kyubey, the alien reappearing yet again. All this time, the whole freakin' Pantheon is crumbling, gods are running for cover. The fight is escalating due to Asura's refusal to back down: what Kyubey's done is beyond forgiveness in Asura's eyes, and by thunder, the weasel will ANSWER for what he did. Even if the Pantheon is destroyed along with it. Fight in Six-Armed Mantra-mode, Burst. Kyubey is all but vaporized by Asura's punch. He appears behind Asura yet again, telling him that the universe would have collapsed long before Asura was even born had he not done the things he did. Asura has a flashback of Chakravartin, telling Kyubey that there is NO excuse for what he did, and no universe that runs on suffering deserves to exist. Revealing the mantra reactor on his chest, he prepares to become the Destructor. Cut to Madoka outside as seething clouds of Mantra blot out the sun and everything begins to shake. She is horrified and thinking that it's her fault this is all happening. Reaching for her bow, she prepares for the worst. Suddenly, a glowing blue blur shoots past her. As she watches it zoom towards the Pantheon of Mentalism, the first few notes of Yasha's theme play...

Guy and Domon already got their portfolios and Archer was the one who originated the term.

While Heero Yui is certainly more well-known, I'm very tempted to nominate Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, from Noblesse, for the position of God of Stoicism, either to rule as co-deity or just blood-field Yuy out of the picture XD

Or if not, at least put him under "Allies" or "Acquaintance" or something XD

The agreement on the main pantheon discussion page was that she take Sakura's place*

as goddess of Magical Girls, since that's more or less her position even in-universe as of the ending, and we usually try to keep in-universe deities with specified domains in those domains, albeit sometimes narrowed down a skosh. I'd do it myself, but am not familiar enough to do her justice.

Try modifying his profile a bit and we'll see. The thing is, Sasuke's obsession for revenge is just plain legendary. And logical or not, revenge is still revenge...

Though if he does eventually get better and ACTUALLY abandons revenge, then he can take Mikagami's place.

Does anybody know which one came first? The newer one should change her area of dominion, prove that she is somehow relevant enough or uniquely different enough to stay, or leave.

Venus isn't the goddess of serenity, despite the name; she's called the Maiden of Serenity because that's her title in Exalted canon. Her actual purview includes serenity, but also peace, love, friendship, and pleasure. It's serenity not in the sense of a single emotion, but in the sense of those things in life that bring peace, love, and affirmation.

Title in canon=/= title in the pantheon. Dennis the Mennace is not a god of slingshots in canon, but just a kid. If the title from canon doesn't fit into the pantheon, change the title to fit the pantheon so that it isn't a redundancy.

Except that Dennis the Menace isn't a god at all in his canon. Venus is. In addition, all of the other Maidens retain their canonical titles; I am of the opinion that Venus should as well, for consistency's sake.

Adding flavor text to Venus's profile clarifying her position is an option. I've actually been meaning to do that for a while, but never got around to it...

I point you to the Life And Death pantheon, where we have about five or six gods whose in-universe title is "God of Death" by changing the title to more character-trope specific ones. I am, in fact, advocating a change for ALL the Exalted to fit our trope-based dominion title theme.

Apples and oranges. That's a case of five or six gods all having identical titles and similar roles, as opposed to the Five Maidens, whose titles and roles are diverse enough to begin with that no two of them are in the same House (except for the Main House and House of Prophecy, and even then, they're given a single profile there.) And are you trying to tell me that Journeys, Serenity, Battles, Secrets, and Endings aren't tropey?

I also point to Dream, Death, and Despair of the Endless, all of whom have the same titles as in their canon.

Okay, so don't change them all, I admit that may have been going too far as a suggestion. But that doesn't change the fact that "Serenity" conflicts with Antimony's pre-existing dominion. Death gets to keep her title regardless because we made it clear that there's a heirarchy of dominion in the area of Death- the rest are aspects of her. I direct you now to the Weapons section, where there are two gods of BFS; the best known wielder, and the wielder of the biggest one. Make a case why they should share a title that way.

Technically, they don't share a title. Venus is the Maiden of Serenity; Antimony is the Goddess of Serenity. (Granted, that's a fairly small distinction.)

Looking at Antimony's profile, her version of serenity seems to involve tropes like Emotionless Girl and The Stoic, while Venus is more about pleasure, love, friendship, peace, and the like. Maybe add flavor text clarifying the distinction (like maybe Venus is the House of Emotion's chief representative of positive emotion, to counterbalance the influence of Despair and the Chaos Gods?) Or perhaps rename Antimony as the Goddess of Stoicism, assuming that that position isn't also already taken.

Alright, then how about him being the God of Magnetic Heroes since he literally and figuratively is one? He wants to befriend everyone at his school and he has the power of magnets at his side. Or what about a rank for him that utilizes the fact that he can use the 40 Astro Switches to fight Zodiarts?

Oh and thanks for the suggestion about the Academy thing; I added his Kamen Rider Club as one of the clubs.

Why not have him the God of Good is Dumb or Idiot Heros? We know he's lacking in intelligence.

Also, I'd add or alter it to point out that "Space is Awesome" is another interpritation of his phrase... or just leave it untranslated.

I think Idiot Heroes went to Beat. Good Is Dumb is vacant though.

None in the Heros and Villians section, and thats really where you'd expect it to be

Maybe give Naruto the story (in Sasuke's description) that Naruto finally succeeded in bringing back Sasuke into the god of Emo? (assuming that Sasuke still qualifies to be emo, that is.)

Nah, revenge beyond reason does fit Sasuke right now, its just Screentime Hog doesn't and the profile is a bit too negative.

Also, Kishimoto himself has pointedout that Naruto and Sasuke are like Yin ang Yang, when one grows, so does the other, so the fact that Sasuke got a few arcs to boost his power and move the plot along after Naruto got a technique that could OHKO Sasuke with ease is now even less of a qualification for "Screentime Hog", especially seeing as the only other focus he got after that was the Kage Summit, and that involved both him and Naruto

EDIT: Examples of this negativewriting: Sasuke doesn't think the world revolves around him (one of the things in his portolio), he just thinks Konoha is pretty ungrateful for not recognising Itachi's sacrifice (he's probably loco in the coco though), His "With Great Power comes Great Insanity and Asshattery" could loose that last bit all together, he's never stolen credit from any shinobi, and the screentime hasbeen justified, so those can be eliminated

And it gets worse in his description. He's not getting revenge for the Uchiha anymore, Sasuke wants to slaughter Konoha because he thinks they all conspired for Itachi to kill the clan, and should all be sad about Itachi's sacrifice... or at least, thats what can be pieced together (again, he's probably crazy), a post that has Jin Kisaragi appaled at his "asshattery" is just over the top.

Hence why I want to change it. Sasuke is evil right now, but this is almost outright character bashing.

That's an interesting case. I can go with that. Don't forget to add the fact that he goes to the Food Pantheon every now and then to get milk. XD

He didn't attain as much as fame as Yuno does. I'm personally against him succeeding taking over. However, I do accept him attempting to take over from Yuno with indefinite.
