Pantheon / Weapon Placement

Go To

The hall is a gallery of different sheathes, holsters and other means of holding weapons. For those looking to find a place to store their weapons, go here. The deities here specialize in placements and storage of weaponry. It seems dull, but is pretty useful overall.

Greater Gods

    Valstrax
Valstrax, Dragon God of Shoulder Cannons (Barufaruku, Valphalk, Sky Comet Dragon, The Argent Comet, Despair on Mercurial Wings, Crimson Glow Valstrax, Comet of Doom, Star of Despair)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1497441257284.png
Crimson Glow Valstrax
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Its Hunter Guild Icon
  • Theme Song: Silver Winged Scarlet Star (Rise ver.)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: The Fastest Flying Monster and is Too Fast to Stop, Co-Flagship of Generations Ultimate, Signature Move: Around the World, Shell-Shock Silence, Stance System Long-Range Fighter with Dragon Element Barrages and extending Razor Wings, Took a Level in Badass as Crimson Glow Valstrax.
  • Domains: Dragons, Falcons, Jets, Speed
  • Size: 2,675.47 cm - 2,675.47 cm
  • Allies: None.
  • Rivals: Glavenus, Deviljho, Rajang, Bazelgeuse, Teostra and Lunastra.
  • Enemies: Nergigante, The House of Air-Based Travel, Liopleurodon, Molag Bal
  • Avoids: The Houses of Science and Machinery and Technology
  • Opposed by/Opposes: The Monster Hunters
  • Every now and then during the day a passing god may come across a red comet way off in the sky before fading away. Though this wasn't thought of as much a string of monthly incidents involving airborne vehicles and frequent flies colliding with a crimson fireball. By now you can see where we're going with this. But savvy digression aside, the case didn't come onto full force until a sighting was turned in by Ruby Rose and Tenya Ida: After finishing a friendly race they decided to take a break near a lake and while staying there they saw something quickly dive into the waters, grab some giant fish, and took off once more heading to parts way beyond. Later, when a team of Monster Hunters and other gods are sent to go after it the Court of Gods was not too long after visited by the culprit themselves, bits of pieces of what were Shoulder Cannons in tow. Seeing the message it was sending another spot in the Pantheon was soon filled.
  • Valstrax, the Sky Comet Dragon's physiology is just bizarre. Now, most monsters just go ahead and fly by flapping ones wings, nothing too out of the ordinary there. As one can tell Valstrax is not most monsters. Its chest takes in and pressurizes air, not unlike a plane, and moves it to its large Shoulder Cannon-like wings to ignite through Dragon Energy. The wings themselves are less about the membranes are more just shaped like giant claws and can point in different directions for different purposes. Pointing the boosters backwards allows it to not only fly as normal but also use its wings as impale-a-man sized spears while pointing them forwards makes room to blast opponents with the Dragon Element either as a barrage from or to discharge an explosion to anyone too close for their own good. With this mind it makes this Elder Dragon not only fast as hell but also versatile with the Stance System it has going on.
    • True to its name its Signature Move, Around the World, has Vastrax rocket off into the sky and circle its opponent before crashing down like a comet where afterwards is left vulnerable to catch its breath. Its enemies should be quick to differentiate this from the Elder Dragon simply fleeing, lest they be in for a very nasty surprise in the form of a dynamic reentry.
  • In an effort to understand it more, various members in the House of Science have been wanting to get their hands on the Sky Comet Dragon to get a better grasp at how it works. While the Hunter's Guild is also interested in researching the Elder Dragon, they have it a point that such research doesn't dip into any cruel or malevolent purposes and made the point very clear to some of the more loonier members in that House. Even still, Valstrax makes it a point to avoid them whenever it can.
  • This is a monster meant to stand, or rather soar beyond the Fated Four, the Generations' Flagship monsters. It is for this reason it has a very heated relationship with the Cutting Wyvern, Glavenus and by extension its Heralds due to making up the three other members of the quartet of monsters. On the chance these two clash is a sight to behold for it is nothing short of a spectacle of fire and dance between clashing blades.
  • To satiate its hunger for the bountiful bioenergy of Elder Dragons, Nergigante has added Valstrax to its large list of prey. Though it hasn't made any substantial progress on hunting it due to it seeing little reason to stick around when the Extinction Dragon nears and simply just flies off when the going does get tough. This isn't to say Valstrax backs off when it so much as gets a scratch, however. Seeing the Extinction Dragon covered in Dragon Element flames is to be expected in some of their tussles. Funnily enough, the range of measurements between the two monsters have Valstrax the the bigger of the two Elder Dragons.
  • Valstrax weak to the Fire, Thunder, Water, and Ice Elements which is four out of the five elements excluding the ones that come from games outside of mainline Monster Hunter. Typing isn't everything, however. The real weakness lies in its intake chest where damaging it enough while taking in air will blow up in its face, opening up a weakness. That, and Valstrax is too fast for its own good. Anything outside of giant landmark, food, or foe, is something it cannot pick up on with its excellent eyesight while flying and it ultimately leads to accidentally crashing into them. Though not as dangerous as an Elder Dragon who boiled an entire sea by being in it, its still not anything to sneeze at.
    • Though the Pantheon isn't exactly what one would call safe, the House of Air-Based Travel are weary of Valstrax and feel like they have to watch the skies a bit more often now. All too often has the Elder Dragon tussled with the Cids and Meta Knight in order to keep it at bay yet this silver bird of prey remains a persistent and vindictive threat.
  • And speaking of watching the skies this is a lesson that should be well learned, though in this case the lesson may be of little help. Its one thing if you see a bird of prey comes swoops down and picks up its prey, its another if you hear the bone-chilling boom of nature's version of a jetfighter fly by and take whatever it saw back to the skies it calls home. Such is the case with Liopleurodon when its querry was about to land in the jaws of death only to fall into another set of them. The encounter was brief, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it, but it was enough for the prehistoric terror to not like them.
  • Ask around the House of Pantheon/Musicality for the request of a "Hidden Track" and say it's name and you'll get treated to this cover of its theme. You won't regret it.
  • In the grand scheme of things Valstrax's speed pales to some of the other gods running about, king of them being the two Flashes and Reverse Flash. As a result, there has been talk on "improving" the Elder Dragon through some added adjustments. More powerful thrusters, added armor to survive such increased speeds, eyesight implements to get a better read on everything, stuff like that. Talk of forcefully installing cybernetics people and animals isn't all that uncommon in the community of crazed scientists and other flavors of vagabonds but the topic of doing so on the Argent Comet has started to pop up a lot. A good enough reason to not get tangled with the House of Science and all the more reason to avoid the House of Science, really.
    • On the less technological and more into fantastic side of things The Dreaded Daedric Prince Molag Bal has made his interests with Valstrax clear. Well known in his ranks are the Daedric Titans, hulking dragons corrupted into the service of the Lord of Domination. He sees this Elder Dragon as an opportunity for something a change of pace given how much of a different beast it is (pun not intended). Molag Bal also believes it's also an opportunity to create something especially atrocious.
  • A previous name it went by, Valfalk, is both the combination of the English word valor and the Japanese word of falcon (farukon). The latter half of Valstrax's name may have some reference to the strix owls where they fed on things such and blood and were overall bad omens. Or it just sounded cool. Either way this does not stop people from comparing to something out the the pharmaceutical industry, however.
  • Recently, a far stronger version of this creature, known as Crimson Glow Valstrax with permanently glowing red wings and red illuminated parts on its body has been reported in many new territories in the Old World of the Monster Hunter Universe. It didn't take long for reports of its presence to arrive in the Pantheon, with the Crimson Glow Valstrax raining down ferocious power upon the Houses and wrecking them in its passage. Hunters were commisioned to stop it and drive it back to its temple, which they succeeded at. For now many have researched how exactly this mysterious creature's powers work and what caused its mutations that give it its signature glow.

Intermediate Gods

    Red Genesect
Red Genesect, God of Backpack Cannons (The Paleozoic Pokémon)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/5eb79a913e7853e04a7250c73bff50a2.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The orange light on his cannon
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Gender: Genderless (identified as male)
  • Ability: Download
  • Moves. Techno Blast (Normal), ExtremeSpeed, Blaze Kick, Signal Beam
  • Portfolio: Cyborg of a Fossil Pokémon, Backpack Cannon, Bug-type, Steel-type, Slasher Smile, Weaponized Animal, Red Speedster, Flight, Bad Boss, Fish out of Temporal Water, Not Evil, Just Misunderstood, Heel–Face Turn
  • Domains: Bug, Steel, Fossils, Cannons
  • Allies: Ash Ketchum, Kabutops, X-23, Bandit, Tinker and Pirate, Charlotte E. Yeager, John Connor, The "Uncle Bob" T-800, Cyrax
  • Rivals: Rexie, Bruce
  • Enemies: Ghetsis, Viktor, SKYNET, The Cybermen, The Radiance
  • Conflicting Opinions on: Mewtwo, N Harmonia
  • Opposes: The Grand United Alliance of Machines
  • Opposed by: Exandshadow, The Pantheonic Time Police
  • Fears: Any god with fire powers
  • An ancient predator from 300 million years ago, Genesect, alongside four other, was revived from their fossils by Team Plasma, and in order to create the ultimate weapon, turned their bodies mechanical and attached a giant cannon on their back. It didn't work as hoped as the Genesect Army broke out and with the guidance of the Red one, went on to find their home, which they eventually managed to do after some rather violent behaviour.
  • Genesect are normally purple, but the leader of the Genesect Army is a shinynote , and lives up to the stereotype of red; he is one of fastest flyers in the Pantheon in his High-Speed Flight Form. He likes to try and outspeed Lightning McQueen in races after noticing their "red speedster" archetype, and when he wants proper air tries to out-fly Rainbow Dash. All of this is entirely for fun.
  • Red Genesect doesn't feel particularly comfortable around Mewtwo. Not because he finds Mewtwo dangerous for his existence, but because the Mewtwo in the Pantheon is not the one he got to know. He's not sure what to think of N either, as while he is a good-hearted figure who loves Pokemon he opposed the creation of Genesect as he felt it was hindering their natural potential. However he heartily agrees with blasting at Ghetsis, who sees him as nothing but an unfeeling weapon...more than even his views towards Pokemon in general.
  • Notably the only Pokémon confirmed to be a Cyborg, though what a "natural" Genesect would look like is an unknown. Some have speculated Genesect is a modified Kabutops because of their similar physique, both coming from 300 million years ago and Kabutops being an arthropod. Neither of them know and the Team Plasma member/s who brought Genesect to the modern world aren't talking. What is certain that back then, the primal form of Genesect was an apex predator. The Red Genesect is known to compete with Rexie and Bruce to prove he's the apex predator of any era. Since sharks predate Genesect, he's a lot more experienced in fighting Bruce than Rexie, which is more a matter of personal enjoyment than pride.
  • Feeling like a Fish out of Temporal Water, the Red Genesect prefers being in the Hall of Prehistoric Beasts, and sometimes the Mesozoic Beasts to prove his era's supremacy. He doesn't spend much of his time in the Arthropods or Insects Halls as you'd think, though the fact the Radiance's Hate Plague doesn't care if he's an ancient bug or modern is part of why. Upon hearing that the Herd dealt with defrosted prehistoric creatures, the cyborg arthropod wondered if some natural Genesect may have survived so long by being frozen.
  • Bemoaning being out of time, the Red Genesect soon found someone to bond over it with Madame Vastra; she feels out of place too, having come from another period before the age of man. Eventually the two bonded enough that Charlotte E Yeager took notes and decided to transfer partnership over to her. The Red Genesect is still a friend of the carefree flyer as he enjoys wizzing around the sky with her. Additionally the Red Genesect is good friends with X-23 and the Weaponized Animals collectively known as We3. The reasoning for the latter is obvious; he is also an unwilling weaponized animal. It's also the main reason he scoffs at Dr. Evil. For X-23 she's a clone that was weaponized, which strikes a chord with the Red Genesect.
  • Even though the Red Genesect has a giant cannon attached to his freakin' back, he only uses to fire Techno Blast. His other moves are ExtremeSpeed, Blaze Kick and even Signal Beam is shot out of his claws. Dr. Evil seems to be interested on attaching "friking laser beams" on the backs of insects. The Paleozoic Pokémon thinks that's a bit weird, but it does come off as more dignified than Destroyman's weapon placement.
  • Do NOT give him orders unless you want him to blast you into oblivion. He does whatever he wants, and no one will get between him and his goal. One time, Viktor tried to speak with him, thinking that he had joined his "Glorious Evolution". Genesect tried to blast Viktor, making it very clear that he never intentionally became what he is now. He doesn't care for the GUAM's claims he became superior to his prehistoric template either.
  • With the failure of their dealings with Diancie, the Cybermen decided they'll try to cut up the Red Genesect so they can figure out how to cyber-convert Pokemon. This idea naturally horrifies the Red Genesect, and with the Death Is Cheap nature of the pantheon they also want to Cyber-convert the Paleozoic Pokémon himself. Cyrax was also horrified given his background and decided to help him fight off the Cybermen.
  • SKYNET also plans to take the Red Genesect for itself, hoping to make Pokémon Terminators through his design and forcibly convert him into one of its soldiers. John Connor holds a different interest; his kid self thinks he's really flippin' cool, and his adult self thinks he'd be great help against evil robots. The Red Genesect prefers the former's sentiments, but if evil robots do bother him John can count on his help. The heroic T-800 was interested in the Red Genesect for his cannon and the two ended up bonding over discussion on firearms.
  • Is opposed by Ted Wiesen due of his abyssal luck in regards to shiny Pokémon. All of Ted's attempts to catch Genesect have ended with either Genesect running away or Genesect chasing Ted out of the house of weapons. This is entirely on his end, and Genesect's only real pet peeve is the Hall of Fire and Heat. Sure it's his only weakness, but it's double weakness and that terrifies him. Residents there called him a hypocrite as he used Blaze Kick to put his Genesect Army in line, but the Paleozoic Pokémon has stated that's a part of his life he regrets.
  • Isn't liked by the Pantheonic Time Police, since he keeps trying to bust into the House of Time and Temporality in order go back to his home era of 300 million years ago. They keep telling him no and pulling him back to the present because being there would mess with the timeline, but the Red Genesect thinks they're full of hot air. The Third Doctor was reminded somewhat of the time a bunch of eco-extremists tried to go back to prehistoric times, but as the Paleozoic Pokémon lacks their ambitions and just wants to see home again he got off with a scolding.

  • Superior: Monty Oum
  • Allies: Roman Torchwick, Felix, Stain, Prince Hans
  • Odd Friendship with: Jack of Blades
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Cinder Fall, thanks to An Offer You Can't Refuse
  • Rivals: Sephiroth
  • Enemy Mine: with Magneto
  • Arch-Enemy: Blake Belladonna
  • Enemies:
  • Abhorrent Admirer to: Ichigo Momomiya
  • Deeply Fears: The Meta
  • Feared by: Nui Harime
  • Evil Counterpart to: Yang Xiao Long. Both are love interests for Blake Belladonna, and their respective semblances both store up energy to be used for attacks. However, Yang is much more morally upstanding than he is.
  • Upon taking the mantle of High Leader of the White Fang, Adam was granted ascension by the Court. Stepping into the House of Weapons, he was assigned the title of God of Unorthodox Sheathing, much to the chagrin of fellow weapons deity Blake Belladonna.
  • Immediately upon his ascension, Adam was greeted by a man who acted like a father to him. Of all the humans, this one was the only one he could come to respect. When Adam learned how this man ascended, he was silent for a while out of respect. Adam has promised never to harm this particular human.
  • Once word of his ascension got out, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang rallied their allies against him. He has caused so much pain in their lives (the last two, in particular, given both his relationship with Blake ended terribly and Adam cutting off Yang's arm) that they dedicated themselves to stopping his reign.
  • Once, while searching through the House of Weapons, he stumbled upon his old ally Roman. However, their relationship has become a bit strained due to his complete hatred of humans. They still stick together, for the time being, noting that they have a mutual enemy in Ruby’s allies.
  • Eventually, he met back with Cinder and rejoined her side, remembering how she traded him Dust and Lien for his life and loyalty. He begrudgingly goes along with her, knowing that otherwise, his life is forfeit.
  • Often, he is compared to Felix, due to both being willing to betray those working with them to gain their own advantage. When the two finally met, they acknowledged those similarities. Allied together, Adam began pitting himself against Felix's greatest enemy, Lavernius Tucker. He still eventually plans to betray the betrayer, since he can’t stand the idea of working with a human like Felix.
  • As for the Meta, the other of the BGC's greatest foes, Adam doesn't want to get too close to him as he considers it too much of a risk. He plans to kill him just like every other human, but the Freelancer honestly isn't on his radar that much as neither of them have anything the other wants.
  • Adam himself is deeply feared by Nui Harime. She has heard from sources about that time he cut off Yang's arm. Since a similar fate has been done to her, she doesn’t want to relive the trauma. Whenever Adam sees the girl, he just smirks and draws his sword as she runs away.
  • Once went looking around the House of Philosophy for any new potential allies. While he was there, he ran into "Hero Killer" Stain. Initially, the two struck a bond due to their similar appearance and twisted moral sense. Stain warned Adam of two of his greatest enemies. Izuku and Todoroki, as well as some "kid who can run really fast". Stain and Adam struck up a deal that they’d hunt down each other's enemies whenever they are seen.
  • Adam's animosity with Lavernius Tucker has drawn the collective ire of his allies on the Reds and Blues, leaving several more instances of people who want Taurus out of the pantheon as soon as possible. Adam, for his part, can't wait to slaughter them all, and they've fought several times before.
    • Not that it will help Adam get away from Locus, who is not keen on seeing his former ally Felix joining forces with someone equally morally twisted, and is harder to get away from given Locus's camouflage.
  • Due to comparisons between the two, Adam is commonly pitted against The Beast, also known as Prince Adam. Despite holding a similar place in their respective narratives, and Adam originally being a follower of Beast, they are on complete opposite ends of the moral spectrum. Beast absolutely hates Taurus, believing that he dragged his name through the mud. According to Prince Adam, Taurus is a disgrace to the name due to his extremism and brutality.
  • Once, while shooting target practice at the House of Weapons' gun range, he ran into a man who dressed a lot like him. Both were taking some time to train their marksmanship to further their own goals. He soon learned this man’s name was Ren Amamiya. After talking for a while, they learned that fashion sense aside, they had almost nothing in common. Adam was especially appalled at Ren's ideas of saving humanity, when he had every opportunity to rule over them. This difference in view caused Ren to have Adam removed from the gun range, claiming that an extremist like Adam shouldn't own a gun. Now, when the two cross paths, bystanders are likely to witness the greatest Death Glare in the history of the Pantheon. Due to this, Ren is trying to convince the rest of the Phantom Thieves to change his heart, be it through Mementos or if he develops a regular Palace.
  • Adam once stumbled upon Sephiroth while wandering through the House of Shape. The two crossed swords, but their fight ended in a draw. They tried to fight three more rounds, but each ended in the same result. They continue the routine whenever they see each other, developing a lasting rivalry between the two that will only be settled once a victor is decided.
  • At one point he was going through the House of Costumes in search of some new clothes, after seeing that his main rivals in team RWBY had changed their outfits while travelling through Mistral. While he didn't find anything, he ran into another man wearing a white mask named Jack of Blades. The two hit it off due to their similar masks and formed a bond. They'll occasionally hang out in the House of Food.
  • Due to aligning goals (that being revenge against humanity), Adam has partially allied himself with Magneto. However, their alliance is merely temporary as Adam's extremism goes to lengths even Magneto finds uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Adam hates Magneto deep down and is planning to kill him later: as far as he's concerned, Magneto's a human with a Semblance, that's all. Plus, Magneto reminds him of a red-headed woman allied with his enemies, due to their remarkably similar power set, throwing more fuel onto the fire. Only time will tell where this alliance will end and how.
    • With Zonda and the Seven, however, they didn’t even bother trying to ally with him. While at first, they had little issue with his way of doing things, currently as far as they're considered Adam is just some lovestruck thug. And they are not oblivious to the notion that Adam's after all humans, powers or not. At best, Zonda says he's impractical. At worst, Teseo is trolling him by making constant jabs at the fact he's just swooning over his ex all across the continent rather than actually cultivate a revolution for Faunus. Sometimes other members of the Seven join in on berating Adam, which ticks him off even more.
Teseo: "Ur never gonna have her bro, even with the power of God and anime on ur side."
Desna: "I've not seen a heart so dark and so far from starlight in quite a while."
Asroc: "Hmph. There's an utterly bitter taste in this dish. Perhaps there's no saving it, unless I leave this Faunus in the oven a while longer."
  • He was wandering through the House of Beasts, specifically the Anthropomorphic sector, when he stumbled upon a skilled mech pilot named Viral. Initially, the two struck a bond due to their shared hatred of humans and their desire to see them act as subservient to their races. However, one day, Viral decided to side with the humans and vowed to protect them. This has caused disillusionment in Taurus towards Viral. Unable to understand why Viral chose to protect "the naked apes", Adam once again set off in search of allies, until...
  • After breaking off with Viral, he stumbled upon a girl with feline features named Ichigo Momomiya. Maybe it was the kitty ears, but he couldn't help but find her adorable. Mistaking her for a Faunus, he watched over her. While she doesn't return the sentiment, Adam doesn't want to see any harm befall her. Even if she isn't a Faunus, she’s close enough in his eyes. Ichigo, however, does not reciprocate the adoration, understanding Taurus as violent and dangerous. She has appealed to the Court of the Gods to file a restraining order against him.
  • "The Faunus are the dominant species of this planet. We're better than humans. We have everything humans have and more. Humans shouldn’t just fear the Faunus, they should serve the Faunus."

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Theme Songs: "From Shadows", "This Time", "Nevermore" (this one in particularly plays every time Adam Taurus approaches her), "BMBLB", "Worthy" (anytime she and Yang are being romantic)
  • Symbol: Her personal symbol, a purple flower.
  • Weapons: Gambol Shroud (sword-pistol hybrid), its blade sheath, and a ribbon
  • Alignment: Neutral Good with Strong Chaotic Leanings
  • Portfolio: Teenage Faunus Ninja Catgirl, hitting with a sword that's also a gun and its sheath, black-wearing females who are on the side of good, wearing a large black bow that hides her cat ears, dark haired, broken girls, showing a warm and icy personality, running away from her problems
  • Domains: Weapons, Combat, Cats
  • High Priestess: Paine
  • Superior: Monty Oum
  • Allies: Team RWBY (Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long (her girlfriend)), Team JNPR (Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie), Ichigo Momoya, Taokaka, Lulu, the Beast, Belle, Sun Wukong, Son Goku, Kairi, Kuroka, Mikasa Ackerman, Zelda, The Monster Hunters, The Vivid Team, Rexxar, Felicia, Ike, Geralt of Rivia, Black Panther
  • Mentor: Kazumi Sawatari/Kamen Rider Grease
  • Arch-Enemy: Adam Taurus
  • Enemies: Roman Torchwick, Cinder Fall, Neopolitan, Gaston, the Psycho Rangers (particularly Psycho Black), Megatron, Amon, Nine, the Phantom, Reaper, Yuuki Terumi(Especially as his true self, Susanoo)
  • Opposes: Raven Branwen
  • Sometimes is seen in the House of Knowledge, catching up on a book series called "Ninjas of Love". For some strange reason, when others try to read the series, there's no copies. From what others have heard, the series is nothing but filth but with nice katanas.
    • It was during one of Blake's visits that she encountered Belle, who also enjoys some reading. Blake also got to know her husband, Adam aka The Beast. There was a bit of an awkward moment since the Beast's name and appearance reminded her of her old boyfriend, Adam Taurus. And let's just say that compared to Belle and Beast, their relationship wasn't good.
  • She is friends with Sun Wukong, in which he reminds her of a Faunus friend of the same name, personality, and even weapon.
    • In a similar vein, she is also friends with Son Goku.
    • Blake actually thought she heard Sun in the Pantheon. When she investigate the source, she found out it was actually Sting Eucliffe. She was perplexed how Sting looked a bit like Sun and had the same fashion sense.
  • Was not happy when Roman Torchwick ascended, and it was made even worse when she found out they'd be in not only the same house of the Pantheon but the same section as well. Though Blake realizes this would give her a good opportunity to keep an eye on Torchwick, though not to the point of exhausting herself (to her team's relief). Thankfully, with the introduction of the Blunt Weapons sub-section and then the Weaponized Tools sub-section, Torchwick was moved there. Still, sharing the same section with Torchwick's boss Cinder displeases Blake to no end.
  • Despite that her being a Faunus is supposed to be a secret, many in the pantheon already know. It doesn't help that she does show cat-like behavior including loving fish. Some have sworn they saw her sleeping in an empty box. They haven't said anything, waiting until she's comfortable to reveal it herself.
  • As a cat Faunus, Blake is nervous around any and all deities she identifies as canine, like Hachiko, Krypto, and Clifford. Unfortunately for her, many of them seem to be very affectionate with her which cause her to perch herself on high places. Jake doesn't elicit this reaction from her, as he doesn't often act or look very much like a dog.
  • Spends a surprising large amount of time around Kuroka, who to many people looks a lot like some sort of long-lost sister. Blake on her part tolerates the nekomata and her teasing, saying it's no worse than Yang's puns. However, she does appreciate Kuroka's presence as one Cat Girl to another.
    • Some like to joke that Kuroka is Blake and Yang's daughter from the future. Blake usually responds with a heated blush and bids a hasty retreat.
  • Most of the Red vs. Blue deities have a good relationship with Blake - the biggest exception being Doc, who upon hearing her voice ran in fear, saying it reminded him of a mad doctor he met once. She gets along well with Church especially, as they both tend to play the Only Sane Man.
    • Pities the Meta, who had his entire personality eroded by Sigma. She sees it as quite similar to how Adam undermined her own confidence in herself. However, she will fight him if need be.
  • Was in mourning of her creator's passing. She was very happy to see him ascend.
  • Is noted to sound like Zelda and Annie Leonhart in Japanese. While she gets along with the former, she is wary of the latter.
  • Has started to oppose Reaper, witch others believe is because she is reminded of Adam Taurus,
    • Blake has also made enemies with both Amon and Megatron. This is because both of their back stories, being fighters of equality but losing their way, reminds her all too much of the White Fang and their descent into violence.
  • There are some in the Pantheon who aren't happy when Blake left her team after the fall of Beacon by the White Fang and Grimm. Especially when dealing with Yang who lost an arm for her. Some consider her a bad friend while others are understandable as they believe she thinks she herself is to blame for the tragedy.
    • despite that, the majority of the pantheon are still happy when Blake and Yang became an Official Couple.
  • Don't worry, despite her title, she's not pistol-whipping the next guy that says 'Shenanigans'.
  • Please, do not call her Noire. Blake will own up to liking dirty books, but knowing some people think of her as a downright pervert bordering on succubus has struck a wrong chord with her.
  • Blake was mortified when she received the news regarding the ascension of her former lover turned Arch-Enemy Adam Taurus, moreso in hearing that they'd be in the same exact section of the pantheon. She gathered her allies to immediately expel him from the pantheon. And with the fact Blake and Yang are now dating , she became more determined to do it
    • Similarly, she was somewhat relieved when she recently began traveling with a Pro Huntsman named Qrow Branwen. Alongside the protection and guidance he offers, she feels more like a part of the family, in regards to Yang and Ruby, and is looking forward to finally traveling the world as a unit.
  • Recently came under the tutelage of King T'Challa, the Black Panther. Their mentorship started after both discussed the issues their respective peoples have faced as minorities in their worlds, with Blake viewing T'Challa's work as the king of Wakanda as similar to her father Ghira's old role as the head of the White Fang, but on a much larger scale. Aside from combat training, Blake and Team RWBY have been personally invited to Wakanda by T'Challa himself, where they engaged in several weapon testing experiments that fused Dust and Vibranium together to... mixed results.
  • Blake has recently formed a friendship with Mikasa Ackerman, due to them both being fighters who swing around buildings and come from a race who are discriminated against. That said, Blake is somewhat disturbed by Mikasa's Undying Loyalty to Eren, because it reminds her of the way she used to behave towards Adam. And both of them are refusing to discuss a timeline discovered by Wiz and Boomstick in which Mikasa found Blake loitering with a book in a village that was supposed to be evacuated before the Titans showed up, and accidentally provoked Blake into attacking by shooting her book out of her hands. According to them, Blake won, but lost an arm in the process, and had to fight the Titans by herself.
  • Due to the Fall of Beacon Academy, Team RWBY has been left Incompletely Trained in general, which is not a very good spot be in considering how dangerous their upcoming battles will be. However, a very convenient opportunity for training for this team has been opened up thanks to the arrival of the heroic Kamen Riders of Build, who themselves are a tightly-knitted four-man team and have overcome all adversaries and horrors to create a whole new world. With their success leading to their ascension into the Pantheon, each member of RWBY has been taken under the wing of one of the four Kamen Riders to help each girl evolve and grow as an huntress and, as an whole, a team to be prepared for what's to come. And while the two having a different teacher and student respectively in a different regard, Blake has become protege of Kazumi Sawatari/Kamen Rider Grease in more personal circumstances.
Kazumi: By the way, have you ever considered learning how to be an idol? Cuz, I know a perfect someone who-
    Blake: No.
    Kazumi: Worth a shot.
  • Recently confessed her feelings for Yang, which were reciprocated. To say that she was overjoyed would be an understatement.

  • Annoyed by: Mara, Beavis and Butt-head
  • To some, John Harnet is just a man in his late 20s working as a postman who also happened to fund a series of indie movies titled "Destroyman", of which he stars as the titular character. Although exasperated by the demanding customers from his postman job, he remains to be a cheerful man brimming with politness despite his job as an assassin... which isn't the case. In reality, he's actually very crazy, enjoying murder as much as he likes fighting dirty. An old trick he tries to pull is attempting to shake hands with his opponents where he electrocutes them.
Destroyman: "We're both fighters, aren't we? Not killers, at least for now. This is a sign of sportsmanship, that we respect each other before and after the fight. Good luck."
    • And if someone does fall for his trick he gets sent into hysterics.
Destroyman: "Ahahahaha! This is great! Is this guy an idiot or what? Is this a joke? You fell for the oldest trick in the book! Ahaha! Oh man! You are something. This is the best. Man, you really crack me up. I...I think this laughter's going to kill me. Seriously! I think I might really die from laughter! Ahaha...It hurts. Someone help! Oh God! Oh...oh shit. Ehehe, I thought I was gonna die there. For real."
  • His ascension came when several Houses reported charred corpses scattered throughout entrances, cause of death either from lasers or electrocution. It didn't take long for Travis to recognize that it was Destroyman's handiwork, and manage to intrude upon his attempts at tricking another deity with his superhero persona. A rematch soon followed, not quite the same level of respect for each other as Margaret Moonlight, which ended with Destroyman being cut in half. Again. Not even a week later the same grizzly scenes occurred once more (this time the murders take place not too long after one another), and while Travis was out temporarily in his place was his (self-appointed) Herald, Shinobu. While nearby Travis' temple, she fought with what appeared to be two Destroymans. One, a Jerkass hiding his true colors under a much more opaque facade and a Jerkass period. The outcome was still the same, though.
    • This time, Destroyman woke up in the House of Life and Vitality and was greeted by the Court of Gods. According to some eye witnesses who weren't blasted to hell, they managed to observe him while fighting and all pointed out the really weird places he puts his weapons. Often, the codpiece gets mentioned the most. With that said, they all offered him a chance to ascend for that aspect despite some obvious protests from Travis. Sure, he can't really pull off his tricks that much anymore since many deities here aren't that stupid, but he'll find a way. He came back from be bisected, after all.
    • Sure enough, the now completely robotic superhero has come back from dead now being mass-produced into an entire army of unlikable assassins pricks.
      • Destroyman's ascension had the added effect of being able to swap between being normal or New Destroyman. Although he prefers his non-bisected self, he admits his other self is much more dangerous. Infamously so.
  • Other than being called an "annoying prick" by the Crownless King himself, he has met with other assassins from Santa Destroy. And they aren't that positive either. Margaret Moonlight sees him as Travis if he tossed out any sort of standards he had out the window, especially with the more vulgar half of New Destroyman. If you ask Henry, the assassin is pretty much past the standards he has set and wouldn't want to be associated with him. Charlotte didn't have a positive opinion of him or his "shit-awful" superhero costume.
  • His Faux Affably Evil personality combined with his superhero persona as an assassin got on the bad side of the House of Heroism. Before his ascension, he actually tried to pass off as one during one of his hits. It went well at first, but Link ended up detecting his true nature with the Master Sword and was quickly driven out. It turns out his hit was to Izuku Midoriya, which instantly gaining ire from his allies not even going over his little stunt along with his choice in using a superhero theme as an assassin. Destroyman hopes to end them all one day, especially Link for ruining everything. But even if that was a failure, he did manage to catch the Space Pirate Felix's attention as a result. Both being very much sadistic hired killer had to earn a team up even if sometimes they don't get along that much. Doesn't stop the Blood Gulch Crew and Felix's former partner from being enemies with him, however.
Felix: "'Destroyman'. Again, whatever happened to normal fucking names?"
Red Eyed!New Destroyman: "That's a lot of built-up anger from just a name. But, I have to ask. Are you still sore over Lo-"
    Felix: "Don't. Start."
Blue Eyed!New Destroyman: (laughs) Alright, we'll keep your little history out of this. Won't hear a goddamn thing about that guy."
    • Destroyman has a similar relationship with Kano was made after he first met him while aiding Felix. He proved to be pretty crucial in the moment when he attacked Cassy Cage and Jacqui Briggs while she was dealing with the Black Dragon. Granted, he didn't hit them since they heard his little warning but it gave enough time for Kano to get away. This didn't exactly sit well with all of Kano's enemies from his universe, not that Destroyman cares.
    Destroyman: "Kang, what's-"
    Kano: "'Kano', ya bloody prick."
    Destroyman: "Whatever, my mistake, anyways..."
  • He gets criticized by his fellow deities concerning his weaponry, but for what you'd think. It isn't about the questionable placement of them. No, it's the fact that his weapons are powered by an SFX Converter meaning he has to call them out if he wants to activate them. This also means his attacks aren't that hard to telegraph. Even as New Destroyman, who's capable of better mobility such as actual flight and more abilities like shield projection, it's still a feature in his gear. It could just be chopped up to him being a Large Ham.
  • One day, he heard a bunch of comments about a god with "a dragon dick". A trip to the House of Personal Appearance solved his mystery as it was Zorc Necrophades. Not wanting to be outdone, he got to work on improving the power on the Destroy Buster. Basically, it's a dick measuring contest. Such a thing hasn't gone unnoticed by Mara, Beavis and Butt-head, who waste no time in making many, many dick-jokes which quickly got on his nerves at the rate they went. Not so much as the perversion aspect of it (come on, he knew what he was doing), but more of how old it got really quickly.
  • "You're as good as dead."
    • Destroyman: “Come and get some, punk. Hahahaha!”
    • New Destroyman: "We're going to kill you twice over!"

  • Suspected Mentor To: Beatrix Kiddo/The Bride
  • Rival: Revy
  • Conflicting Opinion on: Walter White
  • Opposes: If you're a corrupt military officer (due to the death of his wife and daughter) or a drug dealer (due to the death of his girlfriend and the maiming of his hand), then you're high on his shit-list.
  • The Mexican underworld knows of his exploits. A man clad in the garb of a mariachi carrying a guitar case full of weapons have carved a path of destruction through Mexico's various drug pushers and drug dealers - including his own brother. All for vengeance. And the man only known as El Mariachi has come to the Pantheon.
  • Before going vigilante, Juanito was a guitar player in a mariachi band. Then his girlfriend is murdered and he gets a bullet in the hand. It's said that Beatrix Kiddo scrimped notes on him on how to perform a Roaring Rampage of Revenge. The Bride has not yet commented on the claims.
  • Now that his hand is restored following his ascension, El and his bandmates, Lorenzo and Fideo, have reformed the band. They are a popular act within the Pantheon. Just don't go threatening innocent women while El is playing, lest you shall be on the unfortunate end of a guitar-assisted bitch slap.
  • Ezio Auditore and Kenshi Takahashi both can understand very well where El is coming from. After all, Ezio lost his family to the machinations of the Templar-backed Borgias, while Kenshi lost his lover to the Red Dragon. Through this shared tragedy, does El make two new friends.
  • As it turns out, the guitar case full of weapons isn't the only thing El has up his sleeves, pun intended. To honor two of his comrades who died whist fighting Bucho and his gang, El also has two spare guitar cases of which has two submachine guns hidden inside, while the third is a rocket launcher. And that's not counting the guitar which doubles as a machine gun. To quote Revy:
Revy "Where does he get all this shit?!"
  • Not to say that Revy finds El annoying. Far from it, the deified gunwoman of Lagoon Company is actually a fan of his work. Revy has seen the carnage left in his wake, and she is actually inpressed, especially when it comes to his shotgun.
  • He also has an admirer in the form of the Lovelace maid, Roberta. It also helps that her young charge, Garcia, is taking guitar lessons from El. While El is put off by her bloody past as the 'Bloodhound of Florencia,' he sees that Roberta is trying to redeem herself, hence the role as Garcia's protector.
  • Aside from Roberta, Frank Castle is a fan of his work due to their shared similarities, which is why El got his start as his follower. Both men lost their families to violence; Frank's because they witnessed a mob hit, and El due to a vengeful General Marquez. Like Revy, The Punisher admits that El has a wicked talent with that sawed-off shotgun of his.
  • Interestingly enough, both El and his herald, Galgo, could pass as twins. It wasn't because of their shared likeness that got Galgo his current gig as El's herald. Galgo was recommended to the post by Barney Ross' avatar, of which El whole-heartedly accepted.
    • Even more interesting is that El is sometimes mistaken for Don Diego de la Vega, better known as Zorro also due to the likeness of one of Zorro's many avatars. Zorro, on the other hand, is a fan of El's music. His methods in dealing with drug dealers...not so much.

  • Former Enemies: Students of Hanzou, Hebijo and Gessen Academies
  • Opposes: The House of Commerce, Royalty, and rich people and upper class in general (especially Eliza and Neil Reagan)
  • Unknown Opinions of: Murasame
  • Originally, some of the gods decided to amuse her and ascended her as the Goddess of Bean Sprouts (and trust us, she is obsessed with them to the point you cannot question it). However, when others noticed that she tends to plant her humongous broadsword into the ground to the point where she uses it as an attack technique, some gods decided to actually take her ascension seriously. She didn't mind.
  • Due of living her entire life in the slums, and having her parents die so that she can live with little bit more fortune, she hates rich people. To her, they are heartless bastards who don't deserve their fortune. However, after meeting Ikaruga, she started to mellow down, but still dislikes them unless they can proof to her that they are good people and care about those below them (like Perrine, who's actions to rebuilt her homeland honestly shocked her).
    • Good way to get her trust even if you are from the upper class is to proof that you came from either the lower class or the middle class. Flynn for example, has avoided provoking Yomi even if samurais are part of the upper class of his world due the fact that he was dirt poor back in the days.
    • However, one person she absolutely despises is Lysandre. Not because he is rich, oh no. But because he would only allow the rich to enter his ideal world. Needless to say, she is ready to storm the House of Hatred to get his head.
    • Oddly enough, she doesn't really mind living in poverty that much. She would gladly donate everything she has if it means making sure one less person would starve. In fact, she sometimes goes around Pantheon in order to "advice" people to tone down on their "luxurious" life.
  • Some say that she practically stole Guts' arsenal of weapons. For the most part, she doesn't seem to mind, though some gods wonder if in order to differentiate herself from Guts, she upgraded her sword to have an in-built chainsaw inside it.
  • Is surprisingly good chef, even if her cooking can be on the cheap side (like cooking wild grass).
  • She seems to be a fan of Norse Mythology, as noted with her Theme Naming of her Ninja Arts, though no one has asked her to confirm that fact.
  • Became fast friends with Eve Santaclaus after finding out that Eve used to be homeless and makes her money by helping people celebrate Christmas. This only improved when Eve found her bean sprout delicious. Since then, Eve has talked to Yomi about good people rich and poor who she's given gifts to and set up parties for, in hopes of helping Yomi get past her hatred of rich people. Time will tell how well this works.

    100th Panzer Battalion

  • Domains: Armored Vehicles, Enemies, Units
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Opposed by: Virtually every single deity from the "Girls und Panzer" universe
  • An independent Panzer Battalion attached to the 91st Infanterie Division during the D-Day invasion, the 100th Panzer Battalion was one of the few German units to possess armored vehicles and be deployed near the American landing beaches. The only other German armored unit in Normandy at the time of the invasion was the 21st Panzer Division, which was deployed around Caen, near the British sector. Whilst originally a training unit, the battalion was made fully operational in late 1943, in anticipation of an Allied invasion of France.
  • Their armored vehicles consisted mostly of the Sturmgeschutz III Assault Gun, better known as the StuG. These were Panzerkampfwagen III hulls which housed a casemate that mounted either a short-barreled 75mm howitzer for use as an Anti-Infantry or Anti-Structure weapon (in the case of earlier models like the Ausf. A), or, alternatively, a long-barreled 75mm tank gun that could serve as an Anti-Vehicle and Anti-Armor weapon, particularly against US tanks like the M4 Sherman and M5 Stuart. Compared to tanks like the Panzer IV, the StuG was much cheaper to build, thanks to its simpler construction, most notably the lack of a turret. However, because of this lack of a turret, the vehicle was also forced to move to face the target it's engaging at all time, making its weak side and rear armor vulnerable to attacks by anti-tank weapons or other enemy tanks. And, being based on an obsolete tank design, it's armor was rather mediocre by 1944, making it vulnerable to even Allied light tanks in a tank-on-tank engagement.
  • During the 101st Airborne's drop into Normandy and advance to Carentan, the 100th Panzer Battalion would engage the American paratroopers, as well the Sherman and Stuart tanks of the 4th Infantry Division supporting them, during several skirmishes, at Vierville, in and around St. Come du Mont, near a rail bridge on the Douve River, and at the Chateau Colombieres. During these battles, the Battalion was attached to both the German 91st Heer Infanterie Division and the 6th Fallschirmjager Regiment. Whilst the battalion and the units it was attached to fought hard to contain the Allied advance, they suffered heavy casualties in the process, with the battalion losing 6 StuGs and a Panzer IV Ausf F. Eventually, the battalion was dissolved as a unit and replaced on the front by the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division, which utilized the Panzer IV Medium tank.
  • Following the German Heer Infanterie's ascension and subsequent deployment in the Pantheon, requests were made by the German infantrymen to provide them with additional reinforcements, particularly armored vehicles like tanks or tank destroyers. Fortunately for them, most of the German infantrymen present in the Pantheon were from the 91st Infanterie Division, the very same unit that the 100th Panzer Battalion had been attached to. Thus, given that there was already a prerequisite catalyst available in the form of these German infantrymen, it was decided to ascend the 100th Panzer Battalion at full strength, Sturmgeschutz III Assault Guns and all.
  • Upon their ascension, the battalion was granted the title of Unholy Unit of Fixed Casemate Vehicles, due to their primary vehicle, the StuG Assault Gun, having it's main armament placed within a fixed casemate on its hull, rather than having a turret. Immediately, most of the unit is sent directly into combat against American, British, and Soviet troops found in different parts of the Pantheon, with the battalion's Sturmgeschutz Assault Guns proving to be effective against lightly-armed infantrymen with no anti-tank weaponry. What's more, like the Panzer IV Medium tank, the Sturmgeschutz III was relatively cheap to produce and easy to maintain, allowing these armored vehicles to be deployed in significant quantities.
    • Due to their status as a former training unit, and a number of the battalion's crewmen being specialized in handling other German tanks such as the Panzer IV, a handful of the unit's best crews were assigned to other armored fighting vehicles available to the Germans in the Pantheon. Most of these were the aforementioned Panzer IV, particularly the Ausf. G and Ausf. J variants chosen for mass production. Some, however, were given the privilege of crewing the Tiger I Heavy tank, which was also available in the Pantheon in more limited quantities.
  • In support of both the Heer Infanterie as well as other units like the Waffen-SS, Valkyrie Jager, and Schutzvollstrecker, the 100th Panzer Battalion, in both their original vehicles as well as the ones they had received following their ascension, have been deployed throughout different fronts, theaters, and sectors. These range from the hedgerows of Normandy, to the flaming battlefields of Eindhoven and Hell's Highway, War-Torn Berlin, the Italian countryside, the North African Theater, and even the Invasion and Occupation of the Principality of Eylstadt. Aside from frontline deployment, many of the battalion's vehicles have been deployed to help guard important headquarters, bases, and facilities behind the frontline, namely the temples of various high-ranking officers and their close allies.
  • Whilst the StuGs prove to be an effective threat, compared to other German tanks like the Panzer IV or the Tiger I, which both featured thicker frontal armor and a turret, the StuG was relatively lightly armored, lacked a turret, and, most of all, was very much vulnerable to the same Allied anti-tank weapons that could take out the former two. And with the presence of deities with science and magic-based powers like Steve Rogers and Izetta, these Assault Guns and their crews could easily be tossed around like ragdolls or beaten to a pulp.
    • What's more, several of the American deities that the battalion ends up fighting in the Pantheon are those that the unit had fought back then as well, particularly Staff Sergeants Matt Baker and Joe Hartsock, who themselves have destroyed at least seven of these Assault Guns during their tour in Normandy through various means. The methods in question have included: dropping grenades into the commander's hatch, targeting their side and rear armor with AT weapons, and having friendly tanks destroy them. Others deities who have fought the Sturmgeschutz Assault Guns include members of Easy Company, who have encountered the vehicle numerous times from Normandy to Belgium. The most notable of these encounters was by Lt. Harry Welsh and Pvt. McGrath, who managed to knock out one such vehicle during the German counterattack on Carentan, by firing on the vehicle's vulnerable underside.
  • In addition to the threat of infantry, the battalion also has the additional threat of Allied tanks to contend with. In particular are the crew of the M4A3E8 "Fury" as well as the rest of its platoon composed of similar M4 Sherman tanks. Being veteran tank crews with tanks whose guns are capable of penetrating a StuG's armor at any range, the 2nd Armored Division tankers easily tear through their ranks, forcing the Germans to use defensive ambush tactics to fight their opponents. Yet another threat that the Panzertruppen are forced to contend with is Allied air support. The most notable of these are the Battlehawks, who field various fighter-bombers and ground attack planes capable of reducing their Panzers to scrap with a single strafing run.
  • Unsurprisingly, thanks to being part of the Nazi war machine, they and their actions are vehemently opposed and condemned by the deities from the Girls und Panzer universe. That said, the girls of the Anglerfish Team as well as Maho Nishizumi have taken an interest in the very StuG Assault Guns that the Panzertruppen have deployed against the Allied Forces. Again, this is because they're remarkably similar to the vehicles that they use, save for the fact that the German ones fire live rounds while their's only fire practice rounds. Not to mention that the girls themselves have likely played through or at least heard of or watched the very game in which the Panzertruppen were featured in.
    • At some point, the Panzertruppen themselves had accidentally gotten entangled with both Oarai and Maho during one of their tankery matches, accidentally forming up with them on the assumption that they were friendly German tanks. Unbeknownst to the German tank crews, one of the deities involved during this particularly tankery match was the crew of the M4A3E8 "Fury". The latter, Wardaddy in particular, noticing the Balkenkreuz on their Assault Guns rather than the markings of the girls' schools on them, immediately ordered his loader Coon-Ass to load a live AP round and engage the bogies. The end result was a classic ambush and subsequent Curb-Stomp Battle that resulted in at least two knocked out German StuGs for no one harmed. And, unsurprisingly, the girls got mad at Wardaddy and his crew for almost blowing their heads off in a supposedly "neutral" zone of the Pantheon.
    • Notably, unlike several other German armored vehicles like the Panzer IV, Tiger I, and Ratte, the Sturmgeschutz III is not on display in The Great Treasury's Vehicles Depot, with it being exclusive to the 100th Panzer Battalion's possession, with new units being produced by the Nazis in one of their many factories scattered around German-occupied territories. Yukari Akiyama is rather disappointed by this, since she was hoping to give yet another impromptu lecture about the vehicle to any visitors or Allied soldiers who frequent that location.
