This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Done to here, although if memory serves when we renamed Distressed Damsel to Damsel in Distress we left the wicks alone. I guess that after ten years and with a volunteer, following through with a wick rename won't hurt.

A Place of Particular Concern
- The episode's very first scene's is a retelling of the chaos that unfolded in the Void Between the Worlds from the previous volume's finale, this time seen from Ruby's eyes. This includes being assaulted by Neo in freefall, up to her trying to strangle Ruby from behind.
- The Jabberwalker. While the Ever After is a strange, but benign ecosystem, this dark masked creature stands out by being openly hostile and Obviously Evil. Its entire body is erratically twitching (even leaving slight afterimages), and it constantly voices its thoughts with sinister single-word sentences.
Seeking. Searching. Staggering. Stalking. Detecting. Listening. DANGER! DEATH!

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsToday, I stumbled upon this quote on the Kanye West quotes page:
No way is this kosher, and the troper who added it put something similar on the YMMV page and that was rightfully deleted, so, can this be as well?

With a vengeance.
Just moved the only Hand Holding wick, to Holding Hands, but it has 1 inbound. Good redirect? Or bad redirect?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Removed.
I don't think it's needed and the phrase "hand holding" can have different connotations (like helping someone with something).

Macron's notesRegarding the NightmareFuel.RWBY request above. There was a decision made a couple of years ago to require requests go through the NF clean-up thread first before coming here because of the scale of misuse the page has received in the past. There's a warning on the page for tropers to take proposed examples to the clean-up thread before bringing them here. It looks like that didn't happen here.
I've retroactively asked the clean-up thread to take a look at the entries to see if they're valid or misuse.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. For Trivia.Lilys Poke Madhouse:
- Move the Descended Creator example to Characters.Lilys Poke Madhouse in Lily's folder, but under Author Avatar because this isn't an acting example.
- Move the Playing Against Type example to Characters.Lilys Poke Madhouse in G's folder, but under My Species Doth Protest Too Much for the same reason as above.
- In The Wiki Rule example, change "it's" to "its" (no apostrophe).
- In the last example of the What Could Have Been entry, rewrite the second sentence to this to remove the Unfortunate Implications link, which is Flame Bait:
- However, Orchard realized this would have been interpreted as worse than it sounds and wrote the details out afterwards.
- Move the Author's Saving Throw example to the Trivia page as the trope is now made into a Trivia item.
- Remove the indentation of the Base-Breaking Character example as it's the only one of its kind.
- Remove the Lawful Neutral pothole in the Designated Hero example because it's Flame Bait.
- Move the I Don't Want to Ruin Our Friendship examples to Webcomic.Lilys Poke Madhouse because it's not YMMV.
For Characters.Lilys Poke Madhouse, in the first Ship Tease example in G's folder, change the Unfortunate Implications pothole to Pædo Hunt because the former is Flame Bait.
For YMMV.Lily Orchard, delete the Acceptable Targets examples because it's now an index.

"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."Please swap the current tree on Western Animation with this one.
- Futurama:
- Carol Miller, better known as "Mom", is the head of the massive company MomCorp who hides her ruthlessness behind a grandmotherly facade. Throughout the series, Mom effortlessly manipulates others to her own ends, notably draining Fry’s bank account to protect her oil monopoly, and using the eyePhone to brainwash people into buying the eyePhone 2. Mom even used her control over all robots to enact a plan to conquer Earth, only to relent upon reconnecting with Professor Farnsworth. In "Bender's Game" it’s revealed that Mom uses a massive farm of force fed Nibblonians to monopolize the fuel industry. When she is pulled into Bender's imagination, she is turned into the witch Momon and uses her powerful magic to attain the Die of Power. In her last appearance, Mom is revealed to be performing illegal genetic experiments to solve world problems, when Leela contracts Squidification and finds her lab, Mom captures her and uses her DNA to help solve world hunger, and then cures Leela as thanks.
- Robot Santa, the terrifying monster of Xmas, sees almost everyone on the Naughty List and conducts a terrifying yearly raid that leaves many dead or maimed. Upon judging Fry and friends naughty—save Dr. Zoidberg, who gets a pogo stick—Santa is driven back but vows to return the next Xmas. Seemingly bested in favor of Bender, Santa frees Bender and ropes him in for the rampage before revealing a threat to Bender to never play Santa ever again. Even after being dethroned, Santa is able to launch a plot of revenge after enjoying a rap with the Hanukkah Zombie and Kwanzaa Bot.
- "Less Than Hero": The Zookeeper is a supervillain who commits crimes with a pack of highly trained animals. Planning to steal the Quantum Gemerald, he causes chaos in the Museum of Natural History by having animals attack the patrons, distracting the New Justice Team long enough for him to grab the Gemerald. When the heroes corner him, he drops the Gemerald off of a balcony which distracts them and allows him to escape. Learning that Leela is Clobberella, the Zookeeper kidnaps her parents and holds them hostage so the New Justice Team will steal the Gemerald for him, and ultimately escapes with the Gemerald.
- "Stench and Stenchability": Tanya is a little girl competing with Bender in a local tap-dancing competition. Initially seeming to be a sweet girl with a heart condition, Tanya reveals her true devious nature when she breaks Bender's leg right before their final competition. When Bender still competes, Tanya tricks him into knocking himself out, winning the competition. After Bender saves her life, Tanya wins his respect with her evil nature and works with him to mug people using their tap-dancing.
Done to here, I think.

Pantheon Wick CleaningFor the Kievan Rus' page, I propose an edit on the Medieval II: Total War example:
- Kyiv is a "rebel" settlement instead of a proper faction in Medieval II: Total War with Novgorod (called anachronistically Russia) instead being the playable Rus' state, but the Stainless Steel Game Mod adds The Grand Duchy of Kyiv into the game (as well as renaming Russia into Novgorod). In both versions, the Rus' have some quality heavy cavalry and horse archers, but not much in the way of professional infantry, and true to history, the Mongols will be heading their way at some point...
Also, the Three Bogatyrs isn't alphabetized like the rest of the examples.

Children of Dievas - my webcomic about the Northern CrusadesCharacters.BloodlineManhua to Characters.Bloodline2009 to prepare for a better disambig which doesn't just repeat the namespace.
- Remove the second, duplicate WebOriginal.Fluffy Pony entry in the "Clean" section?
- Remove the first Moonlight Lady because it's already in "Cut due to Hentai"
- Change LitchiHikariClub to LycheeLightClub

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSlight rewrite (just minor pothole stuff) for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (first entry for ''JoJolion):
- Tōru is the true mastermind of the Locacaca Organization and Rock Humans of Morioh. An improbably old entity who has cultivated the Locacaca fruit and used it to experiment on and profit off of hapless victims for decades, Tōru would stalk and groom Yasuho since childhood for the purposes of both using her Stand, and disturbingly seducing her for fun. Using his organization and a nightmarish guardrail creature to murder dozens of people who stumble onto his operation over the years while coldly disposing of or abandoning his own allies when it suits him, Tōru uses his Stand Wonder of U to murder the parents of Rai Mamezuku, a reporter investigating him, and plenty of unsuspecting bystanders who get caught up in its effects. When confronted by the heroes, Tōru orchestrates the deaths of Rai, Kei and Jobin while endangering the entire Higashikata family, and tries to sacrifice Yasuho to save his own life. Tōru plans to flood the Black Market with Locacaca and sit back as its effects throw the world into chaos, leaving only himself to rise above the ashes of upheaval as a supreme being, caring only for his power base and belief that his memories will be all that is left of humanity when he is through.
- Well, made the Manhua into a redirect.
The list was fixed because Willbyr got to it first. Thanks!
