     Lilo’s Family

First appearing in "Daybreak Fantasy", they are the last of the twelve Royal Vampire clans and most wanted by the Holy Land. Lead by Last, Lilo's father, they live in hiding to protect themselves against the Holy Land and other threatening outsiders. Though having a traditional distrust of humans, they are willing to turn anyone into Royal Vampires after writing them a wish in a black envelope with a large 666 number written on it. Lilo Ai is the last natural descendant of this family.

A younger member with the Bloodline trait from Italy. Tries to understand mankind's depictions of horror stories/events and fit in with it. Also has good talent in art and is an expert in magic and illusions.

Xi Li Ou / Sellyew

Last's servant from Germany. Can't really use magic, but has no problem as Last can provide him the tools he needs.

     Ron's Family

Ye Ren/ Ron

The main character for the current series. A Level 2 middle school student who calls himself a vampire hunter. After an incident with Lilo, however, he quickly changes his opinions. Has an annoying ghost sister only a few people can see.

After the Holy Land kills her ghost sister and fatally wounds him, Ron is taken in as the new descendant of Lilo’s clan. She and Lilo then escape to Dark Tower where he had a high aptitude for magic, both wanting to know his lineage and see her sister again.

  • Berserk Button: Downplayed. He doesn't really flip out unless in a fight. See Dude Looks Like a Lady.
  • Cursed With Awesome: Like all contractors who end up Royal Vampires.
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: Rae and Riya both mistaken him as a girl. He's easily bugged by this.
  • Expy: Shares the looks and personality of Waver Velvet. After seeing a brother or sister killed, he undergoes Character Development and works more in developing his powers.
  • Heroic Bystander: Tries to save Rae from being killed by Riya.
  • The Lancer
  • Satan: Played with. He's a very nice guy and wants to be a hero despite working for darker forces. His Chinese name still translates into "Devil" and some of his attacks are pretty Satanic.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: He practically treats anyone like a normal being, whether ghosts, vampires, or whatever. Even when learning Rae is a ghost, he still sees her as a sister.
  • The Worf Barrage: Ron finally starts rocking when he gets his own abilities, including a crossbow and a black hole cannon. However, this is only used most effectively against a security golem. Afterward, his shots are either blocked, taken without a scratch, or interrupted.

  • Took a Level in Badass: In the mobile game, she is a playable hero.

The main antagonistic force that ruthlessly hunts down Lilo. They chase after anyone and anything they considered evil and don't hesitate to kill any human resistance. Their ranking and power are that of a normal Church hierarchy. Though they share common goals, several major members have different motives.

A common ability found among most members is the use of the Psyblade, which converts a person's mental conscience into a physical form of Hard Light.

     In General

  • The Dragon: To the Lady Of War.
  • Drop the Hammer: Like Leng Sha's (typically the standard issue weapon for powerful Shengdi nuns), she uses the Wave-Motion Gun to shoot herself back to her airship after falling off.
  • Manipulative Bitch: She manipulates Ash into joining the Holy Land, who is unaware of his classmate's cooperation with Lilo.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name is a pun to the number 03, the class she teaches.
  • Naughty Nun: In terms of both clothing and personality. Her later clothing borders on Stripperific and frequently spits out profanity. She also manipulates Ash into joining the Holy Land by blaming Lilo for her near killing of Ron.
  • Power Copying: Her Psyblade consumes some of Lilo's power and releases it at her convenience.
  • You Monster!: Calls Lilo this after she saves Ron's life, for she turned him into a Royal Vampire.

Posui Nangua / Pep

One of Ling Can's subordinates. Was claimed a heretic by the Shengdi in the chronological prequels and forced to wear a Power Limiter. His Psyblade allows him to create swords put two together to make a bow.

After a large off-screen battle, he questions his ideals of justice that he stuck to since childhood and leaves the Holy Land. He is then retaken by Riya, where his powers were needed again, yet labeled as a heretic. The combat trainer for Ash until his recapture by the War Maiden.

Ying Yen / Eagle

One of Riya's subordinates who is an expert in defense. He's often seen wearing a headset or has his eyes on a video game.

His Psyblade is unusual for it takes the form of a barrier rather than a blade. Over time, he makes more practical use of his Psyblade as a both and shield and sensor for nearby threats.

Hui Zhe/ Ash

Ron's classmate. Originally part of a gang of bullies, he showed care for Ron after thinking he saved him from a cult that used Last’s name. However, his new devotion to Ron leads him to join the Holy Land after Riya tricked him into believing Lilo killed his classmate. He's good at fighting to some degree but likes to improve. Has a crush on Linda.

  • Big Brother Instinct: Wants to be this to Ron, adding to the latter's discontent.
  • Cool Shades: Wears these often. Cooler later when he wears one that can see ghosts.
  • Dual Wielding: His weapon of choice is two small swords. Still needs work though.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Outside of the bully group, he does show some care for Ron. He joins the Holy Land for the sake of believing Lilo killed him.
  • I Owe You My Life: Believing Ron saved him from a cult, he takes care of the bullies in return.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Manipulated by Riya to join the Holy Land and Lilo along with his classmate.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Can't use magic, but is still a good fighter. Working on the latter.

Ling Er/ Linda

Originally of the Moon Domain, Linda was initially seen working as a custodian on the War Domain’s primary airship. She has taken an interest in Ash when welcomed into the airship.

An elite force of Holy Land warrior sent to hunt down Lilo and Ron. They are responsible for provoking a war between the Holy Land and the once neutral Dark Tower residents after one of its sorcerers gave shelter to Lilo and Ron.

  • Evil Gloating: He gloats how the Holy Land brain-jacked one of Roy's colleagues, which sets him into a fit of rage.

  • Dark and Troubled Past: Was unable to walk until the Hold Land gave her new prosthetic legs, which allowed her to fight.
  • Extra-ore-dinary: Her main power is transforming metal and throwing a massive wrecking ball chained to her leg.

  • Tragic Monster: He is one of Roy's colleagues who ended up being controlled by a Psyblade that sucks his mind to a remote location, giving the Holy Land warrior control over his body.

Dark Tower

An omniscient tower that serves a home and academy for sorcerers. Both the Holy Land and its enemies consider this structure and its inhabitants neutral territory, for they are only interested in the study of magic. The balance becomes broken, however, when the ASH unit of the Holy Land attacks, whose crimes fuel the rage of the sorcerers.
