    The Protagonists

played by: Raineh Daze
Easily one of the more morally ambiguous protagonists, Evangeline is the centuries old vampire with more condescending arrogance than practically everyone except Rio. For some reason, she may as well still be within Mahora when it comes to power level and therefore is a lot less dangerous than her skill set would suggest. Her Acclimator is a silver cross in its normal form, activating it gives her Alter Saber's armour for whatever reason.
  • Crossover: From the same universe as Ranma and Shampoo.
  • Geo Effects: Her strength is dependent on the magic of the surrounding area.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: If she uses people's blood to fuel her magic, Mahora's protections clamp down on her even more. The end result is trading a one-off boost in strength for several hours of fatigue and a vulnerability to sunlight, to boot.

played by: Grey Star

A martial artist suffering from a curse that changes his gender depending on the temperature of water that comes into contact with him. His Acclimator becomes the replica of the Monkey King, perhaps due to his attitude to the legendary primate. Haughty and arrogant, as well as hotblooded, though he's willing to be the hero and generally a nice guy/gal depending on the form of the moment.

  • Action Girl: When in female form, Ranma definitely qualifies. So far, she has fought mechanized anthromorphic animals, punched a jet with a tornado, and flipped a rampaging Wendigo.

played by: troydenite

A haughty martial artist with a superlative level of pugilistic skill, Rio exists for only one purpose - to become the strongest in the world, and he will take any step to get there. His style, the Confrontation Beast Lion Fist, allows him to draw on the powers of said animal and crush his opponents under his heel. Or so he would like to. The thing is, most of his rivals are far harder to defeat than he would like - but no worries. He can wait.

  • Worthy Opponent: What he wishes each of his rivals to become, and what he is himself to them in turn.

played by: desdendelle

Reaper was born into a hard-working mining family in the Twin Souls clan. Four years ago, his sister Jester joined the security forces charged with protecting the clan. After a skirmish left her injured, Reaper left the mines and joined the forces in order to watch for her safety. He lost everything in the Twin Souls massacre, and barely escaped with his team to Taryd. Going on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge, he eventually managed to kill Akasha, the High Inquisitor of the Necris who was responsible for the massacre. He was surrounded by Phayder assassins, and was rescued by Zahav soon afterwards.

  • Calling the Old Man Out: he fell apart slightly into the first mission and shouted at Zahav. They have reached a compromise, though.
played by: Test Your Might

Nightwolf is one of the finest shamans in the history of the Apache tribe, both for his skill and his actions. He has long been the earthly contact for Raiden, God of Thunder. He is proud to serve the Forces of Light and defend the realm of Earth, and he is skilled at picking recruits for the Earthrealm cause, selecting Kurtis Stryker to join the fight in the Earthrealm invasion after witnessing Stryker win a battle with Ermac. Raiden sends him to Zahav to prepare him for his next mission: seal the Soulnado Quan Chi created to fuel the forces of Outworld.

  • Berserk Button: Don't tell Nightwolf that Earthrealm will fall to Shao Kahn. If you do, he'll try to kill you.
  • Dual Wielding: Carries two tomahawks at once.

played by: Mysty Glyttyr

played by: Lizard Of Aus
  • Artificial Limbs: His right hand is his Acclimator, and can be substituted for his chainsaw.
  • Idiot Hero: Doesn't know much apart from fighting.

played by: Moerin

The legendary Mesopotamian king and veteran of the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars. Wishing for a fresh start, the King of Heroes imbided a Potion of Youth and now looks like a young teenager. He's pretty much still the arrogant jackass he's always been, but not as much as he was before, although it's hard to notice. His Acclimator takes the form of a beautiful golden bracelet; upon activation it becomes a scaled-down replica of his trademark golden armour.

  • Handsome Lech: His first action after berating the rest of the team for basically not being him is to check out all of the female members.
  • Ho Yay: Is very fond of his memories of Enkidu.
played by: Oni-Lord

    Mission-Specific NPCs

A small band of teenage rebels struggling to oppose the ruthless tyranny of Dr. Robotnik and regain their lost homeland; they assist the protagonists during their first mission. Their members include Princess Sally Acorn, a chipunk/squirrel hybrid and their leader; Rotor Walrus, their tech specialist and engineer; Antoine D'Coolette, a cowardly coyote and the son of a renowned general; and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog and his pal Tails.

Dr. Robotnik
]]The cold-hearted ruler of the industrial hellhole known as Robotropolis, Robotnik serves as the main antagonist of the first mission; though rarely venturing forth from his technological citadel, he nevertheless makes his presence felt through his legions of SWATbots and other robots. the heroes succeed in thwarting his plans, but he escapes to fight another day.

  • The Unfought: The heroes never get a chance to fight him, unfortunately. The Freedom Fighters do, but it quickly results in...

Snively Robotnik
Robotnik's diminutive lackey and minion, he serves Robotnik out of fear rather than loyalty. He attacks the heroes at the climax of the mission, piloting a high-tech battlesuit before succumbing to the Blight and becoming one of the Tainted, and proves to be a surprisingly formidable foe; nevertheless, he ultimately proves no match for them and is defeated.

  • One-Winged Angel: Upon succumbing to the Blight, he fuses with his battlesuit to become a single, horrific abomination.

    Other Characters

Zahav
A mysterious entity of incredible power, Zahav is the creator of the Acclimators and thus is indirectly responsible for the abduction of the main characters from their own worlds. It seems sympathetic to their plight, calling them '[its] Knights of the Golden Phoenix', and attempts to help them in their struggles against the Blight however it can, but its true motives remain unclear. It manifests as a golden apparition of flame which resembles a phoenix whenever it needs to address the group as a whole; otherwise, it simply talks to them through telepathy.
