Varrock Standard

The capital of the Kingdom of Misthalin and a major location in RuneScape. Varrock note  is currently ruled by King Roald Remanis III. The city is also a major travel hub for merchants, artisans, diplomats and adventurers. Numerous locations of interest also exist within the territory of Varrock such as the Champions' Guild, Cooks' Guild and Museum, though perhaps the most important of these would be the Grand Exchange. Varrock is currently the largest city available for Non Members and is one of the largest cities in the game.

Naturally, there will be spoilers here, some of which may be unmarked. Proceed only with utmost caution. You Have Been Warned.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cooking_guild.png

Also known as the "Cooking Guild" and "Chefs' Guild", the Cooks' Guild is a guild for players that have reached at least level 32 Cooking. The guild has many resources that help with or deal with cooking.

    Lloyd the Head chef
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/head_chef.png
Despite his name, rarely actually cooks heads.

The Head Chef of the Cooks' guild and leader of the "Cooks, Apprentices and Kitchen Experts Society". He gained the position in the "Cooks, Apprentices and Kitchen Experts Society"; after the previous one retired due to an incident with a "wild pie", by presenting his invention cheesecake with the help of the player. Ironically he no longer cooks and has people cook for him. He also sells the "Cooking Cape".

  • And Your Reward Is Edible: He rewards the player with some cheesecake after completing his quest Chef's Assistant.
  • Bizarre Taste in Food: Kind of justified since he only recently invented cheesecake and as such is seen as odd.
  • Pimped-Out Cape: Wears and sells "cooking capes".
  • Supreme Chef: A requirement for one who is the head of the "Cooks' Guild" and wearer of a "Cooking Cape", though he doesn't cook any more.

    Romily Weaklax

A family baker, from the North.

A baker of pies. He sells pie and other pie related items. Players can also get tasks from him which involve baking pies and giving them to him.

  • Shout-Out: He apparently a reference to a baker from "Norths Bakery", who sells pies outside the Jagex offices.
  • Supreme Chef: He bakes pies.

Gertrude's Family

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screen_shot_2022_07_06_at_125437_am.png

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/caleb_3.png
A well dressed nobleman.

The eldest of the three sons of nobleman Dimintheis Fitzharmon. He is featured heavily in the quest Family Crest. In the quest the player tries to get his piece of the family crest, which he agrees to after the player helps him make a fish salad. Despite not being a member of Gertrude's family he lives in her house.

  • Blue Blood: He's a nobleman.
  • Everything's Sparkly with Jewelry: Wears a gold necklace.
  • Magic Enhancement: He can enchant the "Family Gauntlets" which are a reward at the end of the Family Crest quest much like his brothers.
  • Supreme Chef: Thinks of himself a s this based off some of his dialogue and he may actually be this, but the player never actually sees any of his work.

    Fluffs
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fluffs.png
A friendly feline?

Gertrude's pet cat for nearly a decade. She is originally met in the Lumber Yard in the quest Gertrude's Cat, where the player is supposed to find her and return her to Gertrude. During the quest though the player finds out she has kittens which must then also be retrieved.

  • All Women Are Lustful: Through the use of an amulet of catspeak some dialogue from her in the now removed Varrock Rat Pits shows that she has shades of this.
Fluffs: Oh would you ever quit worrying, I come down here to watch the fights all the time.
Player: Really?
Fluffs: Oh yes, it's a great place for catching a bit of tail.
Player: Ummmm, ok. I'll leave you to it then.
  • Good Parents: Cares about her children and will even attack the player if she feels that they've been mistreating them.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: Before their removal players could see Fluffs in the Varrock Rat Pits and speak to her with an amulet of catspeak, where she doesn't seem to recognize the player.
Player: Hey, aren't you Gertrude's cat?
Fluffs: What's it to you?
  • Sapient Pet: Like all cats, Fluffs is fully sapient, you just don't find out until you get a amulet of catspeak.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Fish and milk can be given to her.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Doogle sardines, which are raw sardines seasoned with doogle leaves.

    Fluffs' Kittens
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kittens_7.png
They look lost.

The offspring of Fluffs and; for at least a few, Bob The Jagex Cat. They play a role in the quest Gertrude's Cat and at the end can be bought by Gertrude. See Pets for more on the player's pet cat.

  • Cute Kitten: What they are.
  • Disappeared Dad: Their father is unknown, though at least some of them are likely the offspring of Bob The Jagex Cat; much like the one players adopt, though he's still absent from their lives.

    Gertrude Fairweather
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gertrude_7.png
A busy housewife.

A kindhearted woman who lives just outside the city walls of Varrock. She is the wife of Walter Fairweather, the owner of Fluffs and the mother of Kanel, Philip, Shilop and Wilough. She plays a role in the quests Gertrude's Cat, A Tale Of Two Cats and Rat Catchers. Players who complete the quest Gertrude's Cat can receive a pet kitten from her.

  • And Your Reward Is Edible: Among other things completing the quest Gertrude's Cat has her give the player some stew and chocolate cake.
  • Hands-Off Parenting: She pretty much tells the player this is how she's been raising Shilop and Wilough.
"Well, I generally let them do what they want, so I've no idea exactly what they would be doing."
  • Housewife: She's stated to be one in both the Varrock Census and in her examine text.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Raised Bob The Jagex Cat, Fluffs and kittens, which after the quest Gertrude's Cat she will begin selling them to the player.

    Kanel Fairweather
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kanel.png
A playing child.

One of Gertrude and Walter Fairweather's children. Along with Philip he appears to be the youngest of his four siblings.

  • Baby Talk: Speaks this way, which is most notable during the quest Gertrude's Cat.
Player: Hello there.
Kanel: Hel-lo?
Player: Have you seen Fluffs?
Kanel: F-wuffs?
Player: She's your mummy's cat.
Kanel: Cat?
Player: Right. Bye Kanel.
Kanel: Me?

    Philop Fairweather
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/philop.png
One of Gertrude's sons.

One of Gertrude and Walter Fairweather's children. Along with Kanel he appears to be the youngest of his four siblings.

    Shilop Fairweather
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shilop.png
One of Gertrude's sons.

One of Gertrude and Walter Fairweather's children, he's often with his brother Wilough. Most interactions with Shilop show that he's a very rotten kid despite what his mother Gertrude thinks.

  • Boisterous Weakling: If the player tries to talk to him after Gertrude's Cat you get this exchange.
Player: Hello again.
Shilop: You think you're tough do you?
Player: Pardon?
Shilop: I can beat anyone up!
Wilough: He can you know. (The boy begins to jump around with his fists up. You wonder what sort of desperado he'll grow up to be.)
"Well, I generally let them do what they want, so I've no idea exactly what they would be doing. They are good lads, though. I'm sure they are just watching the passers-by in Varrock Marketplace. Oh, to be young and carefree again!"
"I didn't mean to take it! I just forgot to pay."

    Walter Fairweather
The husband of Gertrude and father of Kanel, Philip, Shilop and Wilough.
  • The Ghost: Mentioned, but has yet to appear in game. Justified because he's a traveling merchant.
  • Intrepid Merchant: The Varrock Census states that he is a traveling merchant.
  • Took the Wife's Name: For reasons unknown Walter took the Fairweather name after marrying Gertrude. We know he took her name because Gertrude's two sisters share the family name and in the Alternate Universe featured in the quest Dimension of Disaster Gertrude remarries after Walter's death with her new husband note  taking the name as well.

    Wilough Fairweather
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wilough.png
One of Gertrude's Sons.

One of Gertrude and Walter Fairweather's children, he's often with his brother Shilop. Most interactions with Wilough show that he's a very rotten kid despite what his mother Gertrude thinks.

  • Boisterous Weakling: If the player tries to talk to him after Gertrude's Cat you get this exchange.
Player: Hello again.
Wilough: You think you're tough do you?
Player: Pardon?
Wilough: I can beat anyone up!
Shilop: He can you know.

Museum

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/varrock_museum.png

Located just north of the east bank the Varrock Museum first came to be at sometime during the Fourth Age. The ground floor is dedicated to cleaning and displaying artifacts from the Dig Site. The first and second floor is dedicated to the history of Gielinor, with the exhibits being in chronological order of each other. The basement of the museum is the natural history section of the museum.

    In General
  • Encyclopaedic Knowledge: Aside from the Museum Guards and children, everyone in the museum is shown to be quite knowledgeable in their respective fields.

    Art Critic Jacques Netis
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/art_critic_jacques.png
Jacques Netis - a slightly pompous art expert.

A art critic currently evaluating the art in Misthalin, in particular Varrock. He dreams of opening an art gallery in the museum and doesn't appear to be too popular with the people in the museum.

  • Artsy Beret: He's an art critic, artist and he wears a beret.
  • The Bard: Appears to enjoy sharing poetry, which technically makes him this trope. He even shares a verse from the poem La Beauté by Charles Baudelaire.
  • Effective Knockoff: He can make copies of paintings and even provides you with some to hang in Guildmaster Tony's Office.

    Barnabus Hurma
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/barnabus_hurma.png
Barnabus is the bald one.

A archeologist that can be found cleaning artifacts on the Varrock Museum's ground floor with Marius Giste. He plays a major role in the Dahmaroc Distractions and Diversions Shattered Heart, mainly by explaining what the player is to do and by giving them a "Statue collection bag" note , which is used to store the "strange rocks" collected during the Distractions and Diversions minigame.

  • Brits Love Tea: Appears to like tea, which is unsurprising since the game is British in origin.
  • Drink-Based Characterization: Barnabus's favorite drink is apparently Iron beernote  which is apparently made with iron tools such a pickaxe and knives which were likely meant to represent archeology note .
  • Those Two Guys: Is always with Marius Giste, in fact talking to one of them will usually lead to the other joining the conversation.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Well drink, but according to the Cryptic Clue Fest III his favorite drink is Iron Beer.

    Curator Haig Halen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/curator_haig_halen.png
Curator of the museum.

The curator of the Varrock Museum. He plays a role in numerous quests and over saw the construction of "The Stormbreaker", which can be used to take players to "Anachronia". He can also sell the "master quest cape" to players.

  • Fictional Document: He's the author of A History Of The Saradominist Church, which can be found in "Abbey of St. Elspeth Citharede", though unfortunately it can't be read.
  • High-Class Glass: Wears one and appears to be of high-class.
  • Pimped-Out Cape: Wears a "master quest cape".
  • Shout-Out: To Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with the "It Belongs in a Museum" achievement, which players can be completed after speaking to the curator after gaining at least 50 kudos.

    Dahmaroc
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/statue_of_dahmaroc_varrock_museum_completed.png
A statue of an ancient man.

A powerful mage from the Second Age. He was caught up in a battle with another mage note  for runes, which were at the time of limited supply. According to the archeologists Barnabus Hurma and Marius Giste he lost the battle note  and was turned to stone and cursed to spend eternity with the thing he loved most, which was apparently to gain knowledge and skill in new disciplines.

Many aspects of Dahmaroc's story also coincide with a human boy mention in the history of the elf mage Rhiannon, which is told by the elf Auron Ithell. This has led many players to suspect; and not without good reason, that Dahmaroc is the human boy from the story and that Rhiannon is the one that turned him to stone, interestingly it also implies that he turned Rhiannon into a golden statue.

  • Living Statue: His statue briefly comes to life when reassembled.
  • Magic Staff: Is shown to have had a staff, which presumably was used to preform magic like most other in the game.
  • Not Quite Dead: Briefly comes back alive once his statue is reassembled and is portrayed in a negative light in the elf Auron Ithell's story note .
  • Pimped-Out Cape: He enchanted the Completionist Cape.
  • Taken for Granite: Was turned to stone after getting in a Wizard Duel for more runes.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Possibly with the elf mage Rhiannon.
  • Wizard Duel: Participated in one of these.

    Mabel Malore
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/information_clerk.png
A lady with lots of information about the Museum.

The Varrock Museum's Information Clerk. She can give players a map of the museum and provide information on the exhibits and Kudos. Evidently she also has knowledge in the Crafting, Hunter, Mining, Prayer, Slayer and Smithing skills, which she apparently learned from her father.

  • Easy Exp: She gives players experience in the Crafting, Hunter, Mining, Prayer, Slayer and Smithing skills based off of how many Kudos the player has.
  • Useless Item: The map Mabel gives the player can be considered this, since it's nothing more than a map of the museum which the player already has as part of their World map interface.

    Marius Giste
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/barnabus_hurma.png
Marius is the bearded one.

A archeologist that can be found cleaning artifacts on the Varrock Museum's ground floor with Barnabus Hurma. Players may show him items discovered in the museum while cleaning and occasionally have them put in a display case on the ground floor of the museum. He''ll also buy any found jewellery found.

He also plays a major role in the Dahmaroc Distractions and Diversions Shattered Heart, mainly by explaining what the player is to do note  and by giving them a "Statue collection bag" note , which is used to store the "strange rocks" collected during the Distractions and Diversions minigame. After players rebuild the statue for the first time he provides the player with the means to build a replica in their player-owned house.

  • Effective Knockoff: He hells the player make a replica of the Dahmaroc statue.
  • Those Two Guys: Is always with Barnabus Hurma, in fact talking to one of them will usually lead to the other joining the conversation.

Palace

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/varrock_palace.png

The main diplomatic and military center of the kingdom of Misthalin, as well as the residence of the king and queen.

    King Roald Remanis III
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/king_roald.png
Varrock's resident monarch.

The king of the kingdom of Misthalin. He is known to hate the land of Morytania due to seeing Lady Elizabeth; the woman he was engaged to, murdered by a Wyrd during a hunting trip, as shown in the Return To Canifis novel. Currently he is married to Queen Ellamaria. He plays a role in numerous quest most notably the Shield Of Arrav.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Is called Rollie by his wife Queen Ellamaria and he in turn calls her Ellie or pumpkin.
  • Blamed for Being Railroaded: He yells at the player and threatens to have them executed for killing the guard dog Cerberus note  which protected the holy well of the river Salve, said river prevents the evil of Morytania from crossing into the kingdom of Misthalin. This is all required in the quest Priest In Peril.
  • Cool Crown: As to be expected of the king.
  • Famous Ancestor: Aside from his royal ancestors, he is also a descendant of Tarrlo Remanis, one of "The Elders of Avarrocka".
  • The Good King: Downplayed, since despite being for all intents and purposes a competent and well liked ruler there are still groups that would like him gone due to his hesitance towards the conflicts with Morytania and perceived lack of standing with the Church of Saradomin.
  • Henpecked Husband: When he criticizes the garden the player grows for him in Garden of Tranquility, Ellamaria kindly gets him to reconsider his opinion by slapping him across the face.
  • Royal Blood: Inherited the throne from his father King Roald Remanis II.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something:
    • He's credited with renovating the Varrock Museum, the creation construction of the Grand Exchange, the Misthalin Training Centre Of Excellence, the Beacon Network and incorporating Edgeville into another part of his kingdom.
    • Once he learns that the vampyres of Morytania may have found a way to cross the Salve and are preparing for a full-scale invasion, King Roald immediately orders that his forces prepare to be mobilized to the border, while punishing his incompetent advisor by ordering him to personally go to Paterdomus as well.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Figuring that Ellamaria's combat skills would be wasted if she was forced to stay in the palace, he gave her the idea to take up the identity of the Raptor so that her accomplishments could not be used by the nobility to weaken the royal family's influence.

    Queen Ellamaria Remanis
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ellamaria.png
Queen Ellamaria of Varrock.

The queen of the kingdom of Misthalin. She is know to be difficult to work with and is usually unpleasant, she even intimidates her husband at times, despite the obvious love they have for each other. She's apparently also respected in the Warriors Guild, having been a former adventurer before becoming queen.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Is called Ellie or pumpkin by her husband King Roald and she in turn calls him Rollie.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Ellamaria may be a bit harsh on her husband, but in Dead and Buried she makes it undeniably clear that she really does love him, and that although she never wanted to be queen, she loves Roald more than she hated the prospect of a life of luxury and politics.
Player: Then why did you marry the king?
Ellamaria: Because I love him! His beard, his nose, that tremor in his voice when he tries to sound confident that only I know is there...
  • Cool Crown: As to be expected of the queen.
  • Insurrectionist Inheritor: Part of the reason Ellamaria caught Roald's attention when they first met was because she was the first person willing to call him out on ignoring the suffering of his people, which he was admittedly ignorant about because at the time he was surrounded by sycophants who downplayed the troubles of the Kingdom for their own benefit. Roald responded to Ellamaria's ranting by asking her what he could do to make things right, which in turn caught her attention.
  • Pet the Dog: Following Bianca's execution for treason and attempted regicide, Ellamaria had her buried outside of Varrock, then sent Aster the location of their sister's grave, telling them to "do with it as they will".
  • Rags to Royalty: A Downplayed Cinderella style example, she was a barmaid at the Blue Moon Inn before she married King Roald according to the Wise Old Man.
  • Rich Bitch: Is known to be hard to work with, unpleasant and likes to talk down those she sees as beneath her. At least part of it is an act to attract less attention and mislead people by making them underestimate her. Her true persona is far more affable; she apologizes to the player for her rudeness after they learn her secret.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something:
    • Owing to her former days as an adventurer, Ellamaria is quick to defend her husband during Murder on the Border after dark beasts infiltrate the fort, killing all three of them by herself.
    • Dead and Buried reveals that Ellamaria is the real identity of the Raptor, meaning she's strong enough to kill dragons, demons and the like for breakfast. The reason she needs a disguise in the first place is because she doesn't want Roald's reputation to suffer by being upstaged by a commoner, which would be seen as a sign of weakness by the nobles. By hiding her identity, she can go outside the palace and make a real difference not just in Misthalin but the rest of Gielinor.

    Reldo Trimmly
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/reldo.png
Reldo the librarian.

The Librarian at the Varrock palace, and a key figure in several quests involving Varrock itself. He also rewards players with "Varrock armour 2" after completing the Medium Varrock Achievements. In Desperate Times, he's revealed to be a fake identity created by Charos. See RuneScape character page for more on Charos.

  • Cosmic Plaything: While it has almost certainly been Retconned, the God Letters state that Zamorak has a habit of tormenting him by arranging for "accidents".
  • Bookworm: As to be expected of a librarian, he often reads ancient tomes and is considered one of the most learned humans in Gielinor.
  • Fictional Document: He's the author of "Colossi & the Time Of Colossi" and "Reldo's Ages Seventeenth Edition", both of which are rewards in the Kerapac Track.
  • Magic Librarian: With the reveal that he's actually Charos a legendary enchanter.
  • Photographic Memory: Downplayed, in the novel Return to Canifis it revealed that he can cite anything he's ever read, but has a hard time with remembering the images in books.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He's the starting point of the Shield Of Arrav quest, which leads into at least half a dozen other quests, including lore-important ones like Ritual Of The Mahjarrat. He also plays a role in The Lost Tribe, the first Dorgeshunn quest.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: He's a librarian, often does research and wears glasses.
  • Walking Spoiler: With the revelation that Reldo is, in fact, Charos.

    Sir Ehntor Prysin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sir_prysin.png
One of the king's knights.

One of King Roald knights, though he only got his position and own room due to being a descendant of the famous hero Wally. He is very vain, likes to brag about his ancestry and occasionally claims other people's achievements as his own, as such it's known that at least some of the other residents note  in the castle don't like him. It's known that he's had at least two children, though his eldest son died in a jousting match.

  • Ancestral Weapon: Before a update Sir Prysin was the caretaker of the Silverlight, a legendary sword used by his ancestor Wally to slay the demon Delrith.
  • Blue Blood: It's implied that he is one since he gained his position due to his ancestry.
  • Inadequate Inheritor: According to to Sir Prysin this is what happened to him.
"I once sought to claim Silverlight. The spirits cared not for my inheritance, and judged my worth. I was found wanting."

Misc. Characters

    Draul Leptoc
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/draul_leptoc.png
This looks like an angry, aggressive man.

A lord and the father of Juliet Leptoc. He had a small role in the quests Romeo & Juliet note  and Defender Of Varrock. He also had a small role in the Return To Canifis novel where he allowed the use of his mansion for keeping the victims of the Wyrd attacks, though he himself does not appear. On September 21st 2010 his character was removed from the game, but is still listed in the Varrock Census suggesting that he may reappear again at sometime.

    Dororan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dororan2.png
A dwarf on top of the world.

A dwarf poet who's in love with Gudrun, the daughter of the Gunnarsgrunn chieftain Gunthor. Unfortunately he believes he stands no chance with Gudrun due to his life as a poet, so he enlists the player for in the quest Gunnar's Ground. After the quest Dororan and Gudrun can be found living in a manor south of the "Grand Exchange", where Dororan requests help in engraving jewelry.

  • Crazy Enough to Work: After chieftain Gunthor denies Gudrun permission to court a outerlander, Dororan makes a poem called "Gunnar's Ground" to try and change Gunthor's mind. It works.

    Gudrun Gunthorsdottir
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gudrun.png
The chieftain's daughter.
After Gunnar's Ground quest.

The daughter of the Gunnarsgrunn chieftain Gunthor. She desires to leave her village for a suitor, but is unable to due to her father. She gets her wish after the completion of the quest Gunnar's Ground and can then be found with Dororan living in a manor south of the "Grand Exchange".

  • Amazonian Beauty: A barbarian and quite beautiful.
  • Fiery Redhead: She's a ginger and Dororan states that she has fiery spirit, though players don't really get to see it..

    Juliet Leptoc
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/juliet_9.png
A tearful damsel, maybe I can help her?

The daughter of Draul Leptoc and one of the central characters of the now removed Romeo & Juliet quest. During the quest the player tries to help her by getting her to drink a Cadaver potion causing her to enter a coma and appear dead. The player then leads Romeo through the crypt she's at, but seeing his girlfriend; how he thought was dead, wake up causes him to flee. Much like her quest Juliet was removed from the game on September 21st 2010, but it's heavily implied that she's still a canon character with the appearance of her Alternate Self in the Dimension Of Disaster quest.

    Layte Aubury
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aubury.png
Runes are his passion.

A master wizard from the Wizards' Tower and owner of the aptly named "Aubury's Rune Shop", where he also offers free samples of Air and Mind runes for players. Aubury; however, is mostly visited by players who wish to go to the "Rune Essence Mine," where he teleports the players.

    Romeo Gontamue
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/romeo_4.png
Rather dense and soppy looking.

The descendant of Laris Gontamue; one of "The Elders of Avarrocka", and one of the central characters of the now removed Romeo & Juliet quest. As to be expected the quest has the player try to help Romeo and Juliet get together. The events of the quest lead Juliet to fake her own death much like in the original play and Romeo not realizing that Juliet was actually still alive; just in a coma, ends up fleeing the crypt they're at after seeing her wake up thinking she became a ghost. Luckily for Romeo he managed to find a new love in the form of Juliet's cousin Phillipa, much to Juliet's ire. Much like his quest Romeo was removed from the game on September 21st 2010, but it's heavily implied that he's still a canon character with the appearance of his Alternate Self in the Dimension Of Disaster quest. Another variant appears in the quest Gower Quest, though some of his dialogue suggests that he may in fact be the same Romeo.
