* InsurrectionistInheritor: Part of the reason Ellamaria caught Roald's attention when they first met was because she was the first person willing to call him out on ignoring the suffering of his people, which he was admittedly ignorant about because at the time he was surrounded by sycophants who downplayed the troubles of the Kingdom for their own benefit.

The capital of the Kingdom of Misthalin and a major location in VideoGame/RuneScape. Varrock Originally known as Avarrocka. is currently ruled by King Roald Remanis III. The city is also a major travel hub for merchants, artisans, diplomats and adventurers. Numerous locations of interest also exist within the territory of Varrock such as the Champions' Guild, Cooks' Guild and Museum, though perhaps the most important of these would be the Grand Exchange. Varrock is currently the largest city available for Freemium Non Members and is one of the largest cities in the game.

Located just north of the east bank the Varrock Museum first came to be at sometime during the Fourth Age. The ground floor is dedicated to cleaning and displaying artifacts from the Dig Site. The first and second floor is dedicated to the history of Gielinor, with the exhibits being in chronological order of each other. The basement of the museum is the natural history section of the museum.

A art critic currently evaluating the art in Misthalin, in particular Varrock. He dreams of opening an art gallery in the museum and doesn't appear to be too popular with the people in the museum.
----
* ArtsyBeret: He's an art critic, artist and he wears a beret.
* TheBard: Appears to enjoy sharing poetry, which technically makes him this trope. He even shares a verse from the poem La Beauté by Creator/CharlesBaudelaire.
* EffectiveKnockoff: He can make copies of paintings and even provides you with some to hang in Guildmaster Tony's Office.

A archeologist that can be found cleaning artifacts on the Varrock Museum's ground floor with Marius Giste. He plays a major role in the Dahmaroc Distractions and Diversions Shattered Heart, mainly by explaining what the player is to do and by giving them a "Statue collection bag" Though Marius Giste can also give the player one., which is used to store the "strange rocks" collected during the Distractions and Diversions minigame.
----
* BritsLoveTea: Appears to like tea, which is unsurprising since the game is British in origin.
* DrinkBasedCharacterization: Barnabus's favorite drink is apparently Iron beerWhich may be a reference to Irn-Bru. which is apparently made with iron tools such a pickaxe and knives which were likely meant to represent archeology Which at the time were the closest things to archeologist tools a free-to-play player could get..
* ThoseTwoGuys: Is always with Marius Giste, in fact talking to one of them will usually lead to the other joining the conversation.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Well drink, but according to the Cryptic Clue Fest III his favorite drink is Iron Beer.

A powerful mage from the Second Age. He was caught up in a battle with another mage Presumably the elf Rhiannon. for runes, which were at the time of limited supply. According to the archeologists Barnabus Hurma and Marius Giste he lost the battle Though if he did battle with Rhiannon as implied in conversations with the elf Auron Ithell then it would of actually have been a draw. and was turned to stone and cursed to spend eternity with the thing he loved most, which was apparently to gain knowledge and skill in new disciplines.

Many aspects of Dahmaroc's story also coincide with a human boy mention in the history of the elf mage Rhiannon, which is told by the elf Auron Ithell. This has led many players to suspect; and not without good reason, that Dahmaroc is the human boy from the story and that Rhiannon is the one that turned him to stone, interestingly it also implies that he turned Rhiannon into a golden statue.
----
* LivingStatue: His statue briefly comes to life when reassembled.
* MagicStaff: Is shown to have had a staff, which presumably was used to preform magic like most other in the game.
* NotQuiteDead: Briefly comes back alive once his statue is reassembled and is portrayed in a negative light in the elf Auron Ithell's story Assuming that Dahmaroc is the same boy that Rhiannon befriended before their relationship soured and they fought..
* PimpedOutCape: He enchanted the Completionist Cape.
* TakenForGranite: Was turned to stone after getting in a WizardDuel for more runes.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Possibly with the elf mage Rhiannon.
* WizardDuel: Participated in one of these.

The Varrock Museum's Information Clerk. She can give players a map of the museum and provide information on the exhibits and Kudos. Evidently she also has knowledge in the Crafting, Hunter, Mining, Prayer, Slayer and Smithing skills, which she apparently learned from her father.
----
* EasyExp: She gives players experience in the Crafting, Hunter, Mining, Prayer, Slayer and Smithing skills based off of how many Kudos the player has.
* UselessItem: The map Mabel gives the player can be considered this, since it's nothing more than a map of the museum which the player already has as part of their World map interface.

He also plays a major role in the Dahmaroc Distractions and Diversions Shattered Heart, mainly by explaining what the player is to do Though Barnabus Hurma does it the first time. and by giving them a "Statue collection bag" Though Barnabus Hurma can also give the player one., which is used to store the "strange rocks" collected during the Distractions and Diversions minigame. After players rebuild the statue for the first time he provides the player with the means to build a replica in their player-owned house.
