Tropers: Noah 1
Hello, all! I am Noah, and I was born on September 28, 1994. I created my own page in celebration of my 18th birthday. I live with my mom Julia, my younger brother Danny, and my dog Petey up in New England. I, like many tropers, have Asperger's Syndrome. Even though I am still earning my high school diploma through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS), I am also a member of Mensa. I, for the most part, am a kid in a teenager's body. I greatly enjoy cartoons and toys, and desire to become a successful cartoonist in the future.

History on TV Tropes Wiki

I discovered TV Tropes many years ago when looking up the Jumping the Shark trope. I didn't find the examples I was looking for, but I found something better. TV Tropes quickly became my favorite website, and after many years of reading, I brought up the courage to start a troper account on my 17th birthday. For my password, I... What, you really think I'm that stupid?!

As for my first order of business as a troper, I provided some much needed Wiki Magic to a sadly misunderstood and neglected work that was once chronicled here. Now, you who have stumbled across my page may very well be disgusted by the work I have expressed fanhood of, but this should be a place of tolerance and brotherhood from all walks of life. That work is: Erikas New Perfume. The page there was very bare bones, almost completely unchanging since it was launched. Overtime, I added tropes, organized them by installment, and crafted a Character Sheet with the works; tropes, descriptions, quotes, and eventually images with humorous captions. Soon after the character page was first launched, the author, a Troper by the handle of Adam C, sent me my very first PM thanking me for my efforts. We went back and forth with P Ms and became good friends. Unfortunately, one day I found the page to be completely blanked and its edit tab locked. I contacted Adam, and told him the bad news with a Big "NO!". I researched the cause of this and learned about The Second Google Incident and 5P's efforts to make the site Family Friendly. While the work may be a Diaper Fiction, it is absolutely NOT pornographic or aimed towards pedophiles. You can read all the stories of Erika Swanson here and judge for yourself, but please try to look past the Audience-Alienating Premise and judge the more positive merits. A fair warning: depending on how wish to see certain characters, I advise you to steer clear from the rest of the author's deviantART acoount. It remains my intent to see to the restoration of the page and its subpages, but I do not know how the process works beyond adding a post to the Page Restoration Petitions thread. How long does it take? Do I get only one chance? These and many more questions about the process must be answered before I can begin to write my appeal and drum up the courage to submit it. Well, that, and I'm a Ridiculous Procrastinator.

Of course, there many other things I like, mainly in Western Animation. Roughly 90% of my favorite works are cartoons. Ever since I was little, I couldn't get enough of them. As I grew, my tastes grew refined, but I outgrew very few cartoons. It helps that I discovered [adult swim] when I was in grade school. Not many Live-Action TV offerings attract me, but I am not all animation, just 94% animation. I have many ideas pertaining to my favorite series, ideas that have been influenced by my experience here on TV Tropes.

Below is but a sampling of my likes among the entertainment world:

Anime

Anime is a lot more expansive than what I grew up with. I am not as close to anime as I am with Western Animation, so I admit that I can only watch dubbed anime.

Board Games

Film

As far as non-animated fare goes, I've seen films such as Hancock, Gran Torino, and Driving Miss Daisy with my mom and greatly appreciate them. My dad also showed me the Star Wars series.

Literature

I'm kind or ashaned to admit that I'm not a very bookish person. That's not to say I haven't read anything. Below is a sampling of the books I read for school.

Live-Action TV

When hanging out with my mom, I like to watch shows such as The Golden Girls, The Big Bang Theory, Frasier, and The Waltons. As far as shows I watch on my own, Neds Declassified School Survival Guide is the only TeenNick show I watch regularly.

Music

I like a lot Classic Rock, such as The Beatles.

Newspaper Comics

Toys

Video Games

Web Comics

I normally just follow links to them from TV Tropes. With one exception, I cannot say I read them regularly.

Web Original

Western Animation

This is going to be the biggest list here despite not listing all of them.

Among many, many others.

So, that's what I have for now, but it is sure to update in the future. Yeah, I'm a dork, but I welcome any friendship and hope that the future holds good fortune.

I would say vandalize here, but the rules have changed, so just send me a PM if you want. Below is the only vandalization I got before then.

You're awesome XD ~ MSCC 93
