Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bouletbrotherss4promo.jpg
Dracmorda (left) and Swanthula (right)
"Hello, uglies."

  • Animal Lover: They have no qualms about torturing humans, but they're shown to be very protective of animals and make a point of stating that any animals/animal body parts they use for exterminations are ethically sourced and handled.
  • Bald of Evil: While they tend to wear matching white wigs, a few of their looks, most notably their Season 3 explaining-the-challenge looks, evoke this.
  • Berserk Button: Don't wear Club Kid boots (black lace-up platform boots) on their stage, ever, unless you want to be called tacky and sent home immediately.
    • Something of a queens-only rule, though, since masculine-presenting ghouls who need the extra height but can't exactly wear heels tend to get away with Club Kid boots more easily.
  • Brown Note Being: In Resurrection, the tapes that they send to the exterminated contestants, whose contents are largely just creepy footage of the Boulets, cause all those who watch them to slowly perish (with the exception of Saint, Resurrection's winner).
  • Creepy Long Fingers: They have a penchant for gloves that make their fingers look artificially elongated, as seen in their page image.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Post-Ressurrection, they're more inclined to joke around with the contestants, have relaxed conversations with eachother or affectionately complain about the Awesome, but Impractical elements of their drag.
  • Pungeon Master: Not to the same degree as the host of another show, but the Boulets do descend into pun-offs every now and then.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: While there are occasional exceptions to the rule, they almost always wear black-and-red garments in service of their vampy queer supervillain personas.
  • Single-Minded Twins: When they're in-character, they tend to mirror each other's movements and speech exactly, but when they're acting as judges Swanthula and Dracmorda will disagree with each other.
  • Stern Teacher: Sure, they'll torture you with challenges and exterminations, but they also give constructive criticism focused on growth.
  • Secret Identity: The Brothers work under stage names and their real names are not public knowledge. The couple do not appear out of drag on television or in interviews and lead private personal lives. They have stated in interviews that they are not brothers, but romantic partners.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: If a contestant fails spectacularly to meet a challenge, the Boulets will call them out in a manner that, while harsh, indicates that they truly want them to do well and are reacting out of disappointment.
  • Whole Costume Reference: Their looks for Season 2's Last Supper are directly modeled after an outfit worn by Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

    Manservants

Israel Zamora

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/74642767_2916537808375355_5255147090738420397_n.jpg
  • Guyliner: Sports a largely makeup-free face, save for a corona of black around his eyes.
  • Leather Man: When he actually does wear a shirt, his outfit is usually a spin on BLUF-style leather gear.
  • Mistress and Servant Boy: The Boulets tend to mistreat him and give him demeaning tasks, and their relationship with him is very sexually charged.
  • Mr. Fanservice: While he as a character is ostensibly there to wait on the Boulets, his real role on the show is pretty clearly in providing eye candy.
  • Only One Name: He's exclusively referred to by his first name on the show.
  • The Voiceless: He's been around for four seasons now and hasn't said a word. It's unclear whether the Boulets forbid him from speaking or he just doesn't feel like it.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: His uniform seems to be black pants, a black cap, and no top. Occasionally subverted, but only with the tightest of shirts.

Ken X.Y.

  • Guyliner: Like the other manservant, he sports a largely makeup-free face, save for a corona of black around his eyes.
  • Leather Man: He wears a leather peaked hat and only leather.
  • Mr. Fanservice: He is very pretty and is there primarily to be eye candy.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: His uniform is black pants, a black cap, and no top. Occasionally subverted, but only with the tightest of shirts.

    Season 1

Pinche Queen (9th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pinchedragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA

  • Hairy Girl: Shows off her hairy chest in drag.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: As the very first ghoul to get exterminated, she experienced the least screentime of any Season 1 ghoul.

Ursula Major (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ursuladragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

Foxie Adjuia (7th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/foxiedragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Excrement Statement: As part of their wrestler persona, The Shit, Foxie pulled this trope during the floorshow, much to the shocked admiration of the Boulets.

Xochi Mochi (6th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xochidragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: Any

Loris (5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lorisdragula.png
From: North Hollywood, CA
Pronouns: They/Them

  • All of the Other Reindeer: Many of the other queens looked down on Loris, claiming that her drag wasn't on the level of theirs.

Meatball (4th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/meatballdragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA

  • Camp: Meatball is Dragula's original camp queen, and will freely admit that she is not an "ooky spooky" drag monster like some of her fellow competitors, but rather a primarily comedic performer who occasionally veers into filth.
  • Hairy Girl: Though not as much as Ursula or Pinche, Meatball doesn't shy away from hiding her chest or stomach hair.

Frankie Doom (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/frankiedragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA

Melissa Befierce (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/melissadragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, He/Him

Vander Von Odd (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vanderdragula.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

  • Human Pet: Her Finale Glamour Floor Show featured her walking a man in a pup mask and leather harnesses on a leash.
  • Vomit Indiscretion Shot: Her Finale Filth Floor Show, in addition to being a visual homage to Divine, features Vander forcing herself to vomit, then eating it back up.

    Season 2

Felony Dodger (10th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/felonydragula.jpg
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Aborted Arc: In Episode 1's extermination challenge, she mentions that she'll be two years sober soon, and it seems as though she's developing a compelling redemption arc for herself...and then she gets exterminated.
  • Eye Motifs: What little we saw of Felony's looks all involved one of her eyes looking damaged or warped through the use of makeup or prosthetics.
  • Graceful Loser: She reflects on her elimination in a very graceful way in the Last Supper, noting that it not only motivated her to continue to improve her drag but also helped her bond with Pinche.
  • Took a Level in Badass: While she's fairly quiet in the limited time she had on the show, she becomes much more confident (and confrontational) by the reunion.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Though this trope is in effect for just about every reality competition show first-out, it's especially egregious for poor Felony, who has one confessional, barely speaks, and gets exterminated before she can establish any real narrative for herself.
    • Lampshaded by the Boulets for the Last Supper reunion episode where, while surveying the bodies of the exterminated ghouls, Drac looks at Felony's "corpse" and says, "Who the fuck's this?"

Monikkie Shame (9th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/monikkiedragula.jpg
From: Seattle, WA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Broken Bird: Claims that she's completely desensitized to any sort of pain because she'll never experience anything worse than her mother's suicide.
  • Call-Back: She gives a speech after her first extermination challenge that ends with a reference to Season 1's iconic "NOT TONIIIGHT" moment.
  • Cool Mask: Always wears a mask, even in confessionals.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Her specialty in masks is seen as this by the Boulets, as she tends to rely on the impact of the masks and not give the bottom two-thirds of her outfits enough attention.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: While the other bottom ghouls in Episode 1 are (understandably) freaked out by the "Human Pincushion" extermination challenge, Monikkie alternates between being completely stoic and genuinely excited...about being stabbed with needles.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: In Episode 2, she and James decide to put aside their differences and form a friendship, though neither of them has actually grown to genuinely like the other by that point.
  • Tempting Fate: Proudly claims that she's "not going nowhere" after returning to the competition at the beginning of Episode 2, then gets exterminated in that very episode.

Kendra Onixxx (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kendradragula.jpg
From: Riverside, CA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Break the Haughty: Claims the other ghouls won't do as well as her in the "Shock Rock and Metal" challenge because she's a better performer and they're "look queens", then gets exterminated for her look and performance.
  • Chekhov's Skill: Her veteran status, which previously just functioned within the show's narrative as a source of fun anecdotes, comes into play in a big way in Episode 2, where the paintball extermination challenge allows her to put her firearms skill to use.
  • Cold Sniper: Switches into this mode as soon as she and James turn to face each other in the paintball extermination challenge, at which point she absolutely barrages James without a moment's hesitation.
  • Verbal Tic: Ends just about every other sentence with "Am I right or am I wrong?" at the reunion.
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz: That's Onixxx with three x's.
  • You Dirty Rat!: She lets several live rats crawl all over her during the "Ghost Town Ghouls" Floor Show to amplify the perceived grossness of her The Black Death-themed look.

Dahli (7th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/queenmugdahli.jpg
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: He/Him and They/Them note

  • Berserk Button: Though James gets on their nerves in Episode 4 by mere virtue of existing, her "hey-queen slap" sends them way over the edge. Turns out, they really don't like being touched.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The fact that he was abused and controlled by his former bandmate comes up a few times, though it doesn't become the subject of his Redemption Quest until his reappearance in Season 4.
  • Deadpan Snarker: They have a deeply sarcastic, dry wit, which manifests most clearly in the quips they make for the Confession Cam when the other ghouls are acting the fool.
  • Heroic BSoD: After establishing themself as a frontrunner via high placements in the first few episodes, they freeze up the first time they land in the bottom and ultimately fail to complete the extermination challenge.
  • Relationship Reveal: The other ghouls are quick to note that his relationship with Victoria seems a bit more intimate than one might expect from a new friendship, and sure enough, the lie detector test in Episode 5 reveals that they've been hooking up behind the scenes.
  • Spell My Name with a "The": Downplayed, as his full name is "The Dahli", but the Boulets and the other ghouls simply refer to him as "Dahli".
  • The Stoner: Self-described. They also act like something of a stoner stereotype, what with their slow monotone voice and detached, sleepy demeanor.
  • Witch Doctor: He refers to his shaman character with various mystical, vaguely tribal accoutrements for the "Ghost Town Ghoul" challenge as this.

Erika Klash (6th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/erikadragula.jpg
From: San Francisco, CA
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

  • Bright Is Not Good: Erika's preferred color palettes are pastels and neons, compared to the more muted tones of the other ghouls, though the characters they embody still have an edgy and alternative bent.
  • Determinator: Though she was put up for extermination four times during her run, tying her with Season 4's Sigourney Beaver for the all-time record (for exterminations experienced, anyway), she shows incredible amounts of dedication in each challenge, only folding when she's forced to admit she doesn't think she can actually win the competition.
  • Graceful Loser: Despite their competitive tendencies, they take their extermination well and even write a letter to the final five to express their appreciation and give them advice.
  • The Heart: She has her competitive moments, but mediating conflicts and providing emotional support for the other ghouls tends to be her first priority.
  • Otaku: Erika's drag inspirations are drawn from anime and video games.
  • Robot Soldier: Her character for the "Sci-Fi Babes" Floor Show is a cross between one of these and a Sailor Moon character, who defends "cyber justice" using her various mechanical weaponry.
  • This Is a Competition: Despite their and Abhora's mutual attraction, they decide to refrain from pursuing a relationship with Abhora, citing the importance of staying focused on the competition as their reasoning.

Disasterina (5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/disasterinadragula.jpg
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Badass Boast: "YOU CAN'T FUCKING TOUCH ME, BITCH! STOP SHOOTING, I WIN!" after she absolutely barrages Erika with paintballs while remaining completely unscathed.
  • Be Yourself: Gets this critique in the first few episodes, as the judges fear that she's suppressing her kooky side to seem more monstrous.
  • Camp Straight: Disasterina identifies as heteroflexible, with her wife Ave Rose also being a drag performer as well as her creative partner.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: From her seemingly made-up accent to her bizarre looks made of random craft store supplies, her drag persona is decidedly out-there, even for Dragula.
  • Eccentric Mentor: She's a blatant cloudcuckoolander, but she's also older and more experienced than the other ghouls and frequently provides them with earned wisdom.
  • Mars Needs Women: Her "Sci-Fi Babe" is a gender-inverted version of this trope who has come to Earth to "extract human male ejaculate".
  • Old Soldier: At 50 years old, Disasterina is the oldest of the ghouls.
  • Rich Bitch: Her inspiration for her "Scream Queens" challenge look, a posh and obnoxious "aging supermodel" who delivers a hilarious monologue turning down an attempt at sending her to rehab.
  • Rockers Smash Guitars: She demolishes her guitar halfway through PMS's performance in the inaugural "Monsters of Rock" challenge.
  • Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll: During her "Shock Rock and Metal" Floor Show, she spills a bag of massive fake pills all over herself labeled "Pills First"note  and takes a swig from an unlabeled bottle. She revealed post-show that she also attached several large plastic coke spoons to her PMS performance jacket to convey that her character "does a lot of blow".
  • Screw Yourself: During the audition videos supercut in the Last Supper, we see the Disasterina character whipping her out-of-drag self.
  • What the Hell Is That Accent?: Her accent is at best a weird mishmash of various different European accents, and at worst completely incomprehensible.
  • Untranslated Catchphrase: She has a tendency to refer to her genitals as her "yumpa", a word that presumably belongs to the language of whatever Cloudcuckooland the Disasterina character originates from.

Abhora (4th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/abhoradragula.jpg
From: Atlanta, GA
Pronouns: He/Him, They/Themnote

  • Creepy Doll: They frequently incorporate mutilated baby-doll parts into their looks to amplify the eerieness of their drag aesthetic.
  • Heel Realization: Several episodes after the initial clash with Biqtch that would come to ignite much of the season's drama, he realizes that parroting his boyfriend's abusive rhetoric not only prevented him from having a genuine friendship with Biqtch, but set the other ghouls after her too.
  • I'm Melting!: Their extermination sketch is a Shout-Out to The Wizard of Oz in which a bucket of water is thrown at them and a cloud of steam materializes, leaving only Abhora's clothing and duct-tape nose in its wake.
  • Lean and Mean: He's gaunt enough to justify being assigned "Famine" for the "Four Horsewomen" performance at Wasteland Weekend, and he has a tendency to come off as bitter and rude to the other ghouls.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: Their passionate hatred of Biqtch in the first few episodes seemingly stems largely from one incident where she pulled Abhora to the side in a club and made out with them.
  • Sinister Schnoz: Almost always wears a shiny piece of tape over his nose that makes it look as though he has a bird's beak.
  • Survivor Guilt: Whenever they survive an extermination challenge, their first impulse is to wish that the recently-eliminated ghoul had been given another chance and question whether they truly deserve to stay.
  • The Resenter: Towards Biqtch, at least until they mend fences. He was extremely hostile and spiteful in his treatment of her in the first few episodes, and later outright says that he was running on "petty resentment" for Biqtch after she started doing well in the competition.
  • This Is a Competition: The other ghouls see her as distant and bitchy, which she attributes to the fact that she's devoting all the energy she has to the competition rather than trying to be friendly with everyone.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: In Episode 4, he pulls Biqtch aside to apologize for treating her cruelly and announces that he's broken off the toxic relationship that motivated him to go after her in the first place. By Episode 7, James claims that he's fully redeemed himself.
  • Villainous Underdog: Their hostile attitude leads many of their competitors to dub them the villain of the season, and some combination of the other ghouls' dislike of them and their own messy, unpolished drag leads them to assume they're doomed whenever they're put up for extermination. Despite this, they finish in a respectable 4th place.

James Majesty (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jamesdragula.jpg
From: Seattle, WA
Pronouns: Any

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Expresses concern that she might have to do something really painful for the "Wasteland Weekend" extermination challenge, like getting burned, doing a coal walk, or, god forbid, complimenting Monikkie.
  • Computers Speak Binary: During their "Sci-Fi Babes" birth scene, they rattle off some ones and zeroes to mimic a Foreign-Language Tirade before giving up and repeating "Computer noises! Computer noises!".
  • Disco Sucks: His "Shock Rock and Metal" character has a lengthy cutting-up-a-disco-ball-with-a-chainsaw moment. Becomes a Negated Moment of Awesome when he can barely slice an inch off of it before his chainsaw gets stuck and he's forced to fling it off the stage.
  • Genre Blindness: Criticizes Biqtch's Glam Rock Floor Show for looking "cheap" and "tacky", seemingly without awareness of the inherently excessive and gaudy nature of Glam Rock fashion. This prompts Biqtch to retort "It's 80s Glam Rock, what about it was expensive?!"
  • Granola Girl: She plays one of these in the "Scream Queens" acting challenge, complete with burning sage, questionable "yoga" poses, and fatal ditziness.
Scream Queen!James: (fails to hail a car) Ugh, namaste, motherfucker! (successfully hails a car) Oh, Ganache answered my prayers! (gets hit by the car) Peace...peace out.
  • Lonely at the Top: Her competitive, laser-focused ways establish her as a frontrunner with more wins than any other contestant, but it also alienates her from her competitors so thoroughly that only resident Nice Guy Disasterina is still cheering for her victory.
  • Monster Clown: Their finale Horror Floor Show is a creepy clown with sunken eyes, Femme Fatalons, and a deeply unnerving painted-on smile.
  • Narrative Profanity Filter: In Episode 6, he wears a shirt that features the Coke logo edited to read...er...another four-letter word starting with C, shoddily covered up with black tape. It's unclear exactly why, since Dragula is no stranger to profanity, though it may also be an example of Product Displacement.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Of the top three, the mean. She goes after her fellow competitors to a level well beyond that of a typical catty drag queen, to the point where some of them become genuinely uncomfortable around her.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: In Episode 2, Monikkie and they decide to put aside their differences and form a friendship, though neither of them has actually grown to genuinely like the other by that point.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Whenever a Butt-Monkey emerges within the cast (first Biqtch, then Abhora), he quickly becomes their most aggressive critic for seemingly no reason other than having a heart of jerk.

Victoria Elizabeth Black (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/victoriadragula.jpg
From: Orlando, FL
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Berserk Button: Abhora not bringing flesh-toned makeup to the "Scream Queens" challenge is this for several of the ghouls, but especially the normally-quiet Victoria, who repeatedly and angrily chides her for it.
  • Be Yourself: The main critique she receives throughout the season is that she's struggling to come out of her shell and show her true self.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Victoria is an incredibly talented makeup/prosthetics artist, but her attention to detail often takes away from her performances and makes her looks seem less "drag".
  • Fortune Teller: Plays a classic mechanical one (whose booth has been set aflame) for the "Ghost Town Ghoul" challenge.
  • I Love the Dead: Her Finale Filth Floor Show has her playing a mortician who, while performing an autopsy on a cadaver, begins passionately making out with it.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Of the top three, the in-between. She has her nice and mean moments, but she's too reserved to come off as either extreme.
  • The Quiet One: Both on stage and off, she's a much more subtle personality than the other ghouls.
  • Relationship Reveal: The other ghouls are quick to note that her relationship with Dahli seems a bit more intimate than one might expect from a new friendship, and sure enough, the lie detector test in Episode 5 reveals that they've been hooking up behind the scenes.
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: Her "Scream Queens" character, a wealthy-looking woman who repeatedly asks a nonexistent Alexa to "turn on the fire" in her cabin before calling the local park ranger and making him do it.

Biqtch Puddin' (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/biqtchdragula.jpg
From: Atlanta, GA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Action Girl: Her drag persona is inspired by the badass female video game characters she'd play as a kid like Poison from Final Fight and Street Fighter.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: In the first few episodes, the other ghouls, following Abhora's lead, deride her as a sellout pageant queen who has no right to be there, causing her to feel alienated from the cast and struggle with her drag early on.
  • Camp: Biqtch revels in campy looks, such as her alien diner waitress look, but she's equally ready to camp up disgusting or macabre topics like the murder of JonBenét Ramsey.
  • Girls with Moustaches: Since her season, Biqtch has let her moustache grow in and leaves it on as part of her drag looks, such as The Cameo appearance in the intro vignette for Season 4's "Monsters of Rock" episode, which indicates that her Finale Filth Floor Show janitor character has seemingly become employed at the Boulets' strip club.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: For her Horror Floor Show in the Grand Finale, Biqtch dons a flowing gown with long wizard sleeves, massive claw fingernails, and two red lights covering up her eyes. The stage lights are turned off when she first hits the stage, giving her the appearance of two bright red eyes on a pitch-black silhouette.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Her "Sci-Fi Babes" look is an archetypal Greasy Spoon waitress with a Southern accent and massive hair who is identifiable as an alien from her bright green skin.
  • In-Universe Factoid Failure: Seemingly didn't realize that her prosthetic for the "Ghost Town Ghouls" challenge, which resembles a heavily scarred, rotting face, wouldn't read as a drowning victim, since drowned corpses tend to bloat instead. When asked why her prosthetic doesn't look properly bloated, all she can manage is "...it popped".
  • Masochist's Meal: Biqtch exemplifies the "Filth" pillar of Dragula with her Finale Filth Floor Show: a homely janitor who mops the main stage, picks her nose, sucks on her own toes, licks a toilet plunger, eats actual hair taken from the cast's communal shower drain, and drinks the actual filthy mop water from the mop bucket kept at the venue.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Though it's never brought up on the show, she took her drag name from Bitch Pudding, a recurring character on Robot Chicken originally made for a Strawberry Shortcake parody.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Of the top three, the nice. She's diplomatic in moments of conflict, always uplifts her fellow competitors, and she even defends Abhora from James' scorn despite the former's mistreatment of her.
  • Slashers Prefer Blondes: Invoked with her "Scream Queens" look, a ditzy, slutty blonde who has no qualms about having rough sex with a stranger-turned-slasher.
  • Squee: Her reaction when Vander Von Odd was announced as the guest judge for "Wasteland Weekend" is an absolutely giddy squeal.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Her reaction to getting shot point-blank with paintballs?
Biqtch: "Oh yeah, baby, oh yeah, get my fucking ass!"

    Season 3

Violencia! (11th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/violencia_bbd_s3.png
From: Boston, MA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Big Eater: Her drag persona seemingly has a fixation with food. Her looks tend to be based around junk food, and she has an Establishing Character Moment in her first confessional where she promises to "eat the competition".
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: She gets awfully close to facing her fear of heights in the first extermination challenge, but ultimately finds herself too overwhelmed with anxiety to continue and decides to bow out at the last second. As a result, she is unceremoniously eliminated.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Violencia! refused to do the season's first extermination challenge at the last minute, making her the season's first victim and thus one of the least-prominently featured members of the cast.

St. Lucia (10th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stlucia_bbd_s3.png
From: Atlanta, GA
Pronouns: He/Him, She/Her, & They/Them

  • All of the Other Reindeer: The other competitors don't see her as being at their level, and the majority of them pick her to go home in Episode 1 purely based off of her entrance look.
  • The Quiet One: They're much more reserved than the other ghouls, though it doesn't help that they're an early out and don't get much screentime.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Despite being the second out, Saint was also noticeably very absent from the edit, which became one of his motivating factors to participate in the Resurrection special.

Yovska (9th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yovska_bbd_s3.png
From: Toronto, ON, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

  • Cool Mask: Though she does have makeup-forward looks, she prefers to wear masks in drag and considers it her Signature Style.
  • Crass Canuck: While they're the first ghoul to represent Canada, they're one of the least polite ghouls of the season.
  • Deadpan Snarker: They throw so much dry, snarky shade in the few episodes they competed in that it becomes a talking point at the Last Supper.
  • Freaky Is Cool: While the Boulets find her references difficult to comprehend, the other ghouls (particularly her Koven bandmates) express a genuine love and fascination for her bizarre drag.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: In Episode 3's extermination challenge, wherein the three bottom ghouls were tasked with picking out tattoos for each other, they remark that they're fine with getting a tramp stamp of a Dragula alum, just as long as it's not Abhora. Cut to their lower back, where, naturally, Abhora's "Ghost Town Ghoul" look has just been tattooed.
  • It Was There the Whole Time: At the reunion, she jokes that she was never actually killed and has been lurking in the background the whole time.
  • Lighter and Softer: Rather than draw on fear, Yovska's drag is meant to invoke a childlike wonderment. This is best exemplified in the "Meet Our Monsters" video where, while all the other ghouls are serving dark, edgy looks, Yovska is blowing bubbles while dressed as a cutesy albino axolotl.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Though you'd never guess it from their youthful appearance, their drag persona is 20,000 years old, and he casually introduces himself as such.
  • Visual Kei: The fantastical and exaggerated silhouettes of Visual Kei fashion serve as the primary inspiration for her "Drag Monsters of Rock" looks.

Maxi Glamour (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maxi_bbd_s3.png
From: St. Louis, MO
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Black and Nerdy: One of two Black ghouls on Season 3, and probably one of the most casually geeky ghouls in the whole franchise.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Maxi's face, if not all of their body, is almost always painted bright blue in service of their alien/elf-like appearance.
  • Meaningful Name: The Boulets acknowledge their last name as having potential for this when they introduce Maxi, as "glamour" is one of the four tenets of Dragula, though they question whether Maxi will actually live up to that potential.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Maxi describes themself as "The Demon Queen Of Polka and Baklava".
  • Otaku: Their drag is influenced by anime and video games and frequently features references to both.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives an especially brutal one of these to Maddelynn in Episode 4's "Public Shaming" extermination challenge.
Maxi: I'm Maxi Glamour, and I deserve to be here because I don't talk shit about each and every one of you when they're not in the room. I'm Maxi Glamour, and I should be here because I have not said that I don't wanna be here on countless occasions. I am Maxi Glamour, and I do make my cardboard costumes, because I have talent and creativity.
  • Shameless Fanservice Person: They're a trained burlesque artist, and, in their own words, they "love to get naked" onstage.
  • Verbal Tic: They mention Polka and Baklava so often that it starts to get on the other ghouls' nerves.

Hollow Eve (7th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hollow_bbd_s3.png
From: San Francisco, CA
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Accidental Tickle Torture: They decide to get a tattoo on their armpit for Episode 3's extermination challenge, with the assumption that getting tattooed on an area they've never stuck a needle into will be excruciatingly painful. It ends up being excruciatingly ticklish instead.
  • Berserk Button: Hollow takes extreme umbrage to the AMAB drag queens using the term "fish"/"fishy" to refer to passing as feminine in drag, noting its derogatory nature in a stereotype that the vagina has a fishy odor. They also raise their hackles at referring to Yovska as a "baby" after their elimination, believing it is belittling of Yovska's drag.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Hollow is one of two AFAB drag artists on Season 3, the other being Landon Cider. While they do not identify as a woman, nor as a standard king or queen, the world of drag and particularly drag reality television competitions is very dominated by AMAB drag artists, and their participation in Dragula is an inversion of this trend.
  • Gorn: They like to stretch, pierce, and otherwise harm their skin in their performances, such as their "Monsters of Rock" performance, in which they performed a blood ritual that culminated in needles being pulled out from their skin.
  • Insistent Terminology: They're not a queen or king, but a "post-binary drag socialist with a penchant for anarchy".
  • Motor Mouth: They're an avid ranter with a tendency to talk loudly and passionately over others.
  • Nightmare Fetishist:
    • In Episode 1, they make a point of saying they'd happily gobble down a chalice of spiders had they gotten the spider compact.
    • They also express hope that one of the extermination challenges will involve electrocution. They seem to enjoy pain in general.
  • No Periods, Period: For the "Trash Queens" challenge, Hollow wanted to make an outfit out of used menstrual products, with their storage of used tampons in the communal freezer having been a plot point earlier in the season. However, they were reportedly told by production that they could not use anything resembling blood in their outfit, leading them to instead use unused menstrual products and pour a can of tuna over themselves (which was also a Call-Back to Hollow's opposition to AMAB drag queens using the term "fish").
  • One-Steve Limit: Their full drag name is "Hollow Eve of Destruction", but they went by "Hollow Eve" on the show to avoid confusion with Evah Destruction.
  • Soapbox Sadie: They have intensely progressive sensibilities and will passionately call out even the slightest thing that doesn't align with their worldview.

Maddelynn Hatter (6th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maddelynn_bbd_s3.png
From: New York, NY
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Character Name Alias: Her name is essentially a Distaff Counterpart to The Mad Hatter.
  • Comical Overreacting: To Episode 4's extermination challenge. Considering what both she and her fellow ghouls have had to go through in previous exterminations, getting insulted and pelted with leftovers doesn't seem all that bad...yet it sends her into a full-on meltdown that culminated in what is easily the season's most memetic moment.
Clint Catalyst: But think big picture.
Maddelynn Hatter: FUCK the big picture, Clint!
  • Formerly Friendly Family: Played with. Some Noodle Incident has caused Dollya to distrust Maddelynn, and while they never show any malice to each other directly, they seem to have some serious unresolved issues.
  • Mad Doctor: Her look for the "Haunted Hospital" challenge is a sexy, bloody, murderous nurse.
  • My Nayme Is: Her name is "Maddelynn" (pronounced "MAD-uh-lin"), not "Madeline" (pronounced "MAD-uh-LINE"), and don't you forget it.
  • Noodle Incident: It's never made clear exactly what she did that caused Dollya to distrust her so much, though we do know that it involved a relapse.
  • One Degree of Separation: Maddelynn is Season 2 finalist Victoria Black's drag mother and therefore Dollya Black's drag grandmother.
  • Vocal Dissonance: She has an incredibly nasal, high-pitched voice, which, though it's not as dissonant when she's in drag, admittedly sounds kind of weird on her out of drag.

Evah Destruction (5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/evah_bbd_s3.png
From: Dallas, TX
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

  • Armor-Piercing Question: Granted, "What did you think would happen when you came on this show?" isn't an especially devastating question, but because Evah wasn't expecting such a vague first question for her interview with Disasterina, it sends her completely for a loop, causing her to fall victim to a Heroic BSoD and land in the bottom for a "cringey" interview dominated by long stretches of panicked silence.
  • Be Yourself: They're a well-renowned drag performer whose punk sensibilities and quick wit have earned them many fans, but they struggle to channel their best assets on the show, causing the Boulets to critique them for holding back/not focusing on what makes their drag special.
  • Cope by Creating: Why she does drag. She felt deeply powerless while attending a "troubled teens" facility, and she appreciates drag for the fact that she has ownership of it and can define herself through it while also using it to escape her trauma.
  • Creepy Doll: They have one embedded in her chest for her "Le Freak" look that's implied to be a Puppeteer Parasite compelling them to tap-dance.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She was kicked out her parents' house at 17 and sent to a "troubled teens" facility, which proved to be an extremely traumatic experience for her.
  • Hairy Girl: They're naturally very hirsute out of drag, and while some queens will remove their body hair to get into drag, Evah prefers to show off their hairiness. Their body hair is fully on display in their "Drag Monsters of Rock" solo look and their "Trash Queens" Floor Show where they fashioned a bikini out of disposable razors.
  • Monster Clown: Her promo look evokes this trope as an homage to her viral performance of "That Laughing Track" at Atlanta Pride 2014.
  • Negated Moment of Awesome: They seem as though they're about to launch into a compelling Rousing Speech for themself upon landing in the bottom two in the "Trash Queens" challenge...until Hollow interrupts them with their own speech.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Frequently with Maxi, who gets on her nerves but somehow always ends up working with her in group challenges.

Louisianna Purchase (4th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/louisianna_bbd_s3.png
From: Austin, TX
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

  • Candy Striper: Her "Haunted Hospital" look is an odd mix of the "cute" and "sexy" versions of this character type, with some added creepiness courtesy of her distressed garment and teddy bear.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Episode 8's extermination challenge had the ghouls search a haunted house to find invitations to the finale, which were stated to be "next to the jack-o-lantern". When Lulu makes it to the end, grabs the jack-o-lantern itself, and proclaims "I got the pumpkin!", seemingly having misheard the instructions, what should be a sad moment for them becomes oddly hilarious.
  • Flaming Devil: She embodies a glamorous, dragged-up Distaff Counterpart of Satan himself for the "Halloween Haunt" challenge.
  • In-Universe Nickname: Their fellow ghouls tend to call them "Lulu" or just "Lou".
  • Late Coming Out: She didn't discover drag, or even start living openly as a queer person, until she was 36 years old.
  • Leg Focus: Her looks tend to feature a lot of leg, and she pinpoints her legs as an essential part of her drag in the "Trash Queens" interview.
  • Multiboobage: Their character for the "Le Freak" floorshow has a set of triplets.
  • Rousing Speech: She frequently gives these to ghouls experiencing their Darkest Hour upon being put up for extermination, reassuring them that their drag is important and they have what it takes to stay in the competition.
  • Team Mom: They're the oldest contender, and they're very sweet and quick to comfort their fellow ghouls when they're stressed.
  • The Vamp: Several of her looks invoke this trope, but especially her "Supervillains" floorshow, an evil, sultry dominatrix clad in all black.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: Because of the severe homophobia they experienced growing up, they consider their relationship with their family, and their hometown by extension, to be outright irreparable.

Dollya Black (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dollya_bbd_s3.png
From: Orlando, FL
Pronouns: She/Her

  • At Least I Admit It: Invoked when she criticizes Maxi for talking shit about her under their breath, since she actually confronts people directly if she has something bitchy to say to them. Subverted almost immediately, though, when Madd and Hollow reveal that Dollya has actually been talking about them behind their backs.
  • Brutal Honesty: She terms her bitchy tendencies as this, claiming that she's just being authentic and that her competitors can't handle her honesty.
  • Drunk with Power: She zigzags between this and Comes Great Responsibility after finding the Key of Life and Death, ultimately landing on the latter in deciding to save herself rather than target a competitor.
Dollya: If I have to put someone up for extermination? Um, that is a mighty big question to ask. At this point, I've had relationships and arguments with multiple people, [...] I wanna say that I would be fair with my judgment, unless they piss me off, and then I might just fucking throw them under the fucking bus.
  • Formerly Friendly Family: Some Noodle Incident has caused Dollya to distrust Maddelynn, and while they never show any malice to each other directly, they seem to have some serious unresolved issues.
  • Generation Xerox: Played with. Her run is similar to Victoria's in that she made it to the finale and performed very well but ultimately lost, but she won more challenges and got into a lot more fights than her mother.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Her "Operating Theatre" character with a massive leech for an arm is, per the backstory she provides, the result of an Evilutionary Biologist applying LEGO Genetics to a human woman and a leech.
  • Hates Being Touched: Her only concern with Episode 8's extermination challenge - navigating a rotting, abandoned haunted house in complete darkness - is that she might be touched by a scare actor. Naturally, she does get touched. Several times, in fact.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: She's openly hostile to about half the cast, but the moments where she reaches out to Maddelynn make it seem as though she actually has a heart of gold or Madd is her Morality Pet...until Episode 4, where she calls Maddelynn "the source of all evil" and notes that she was just trying to get Madd to stop talking shit about her.
  • One Degree of Separation: Dollya is Victoria Black's drag daughter and therefore Maddelynn's drag granddaughter.
  • The Strongman: She performs a gender-inverted version of this for the "Le Freak" challenge who uses her tits to perform feats of strength.
  • You Dirty Rat!: Her "Trash Queens" look is quite literally a filthy, grimy rat queen who hoards trash.

Priscilla Chambers (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/priscilla_bbd_s3.png
From: Asheville, NC
Pronouns: She/Her note

  • The Alcoholic: Her character in the "Dungeons and Drag Queens" acting challenge is a bumbling, hard-drinking elf bard that slurs her speech heavily.
  • And You Thought It Was a Game: For her Haunted Hospital Floor Show, she presents a post-childbirth half-human half-cow look complete with a prop fetal calf. When the Boulets praise her for her prop crafting skills, she reveals it is an actual chemically preserved stillborn calf. She later revealed on social media that she actually brought two stillborn calves with her for the show.
  • Appropriated Appellation: In her local drag scene, she's often called a "trash queen" pejoratively, but she embraces the premise of the "Trash Queens" challenge as an opportunity to reclaim the term and define for herself what it means to be a "trash queen".
  • Dramatic Unmask: The succubus that she portrays for her Finale Horror Floor Show looks very pretty and somewhat unlike Priscilla, at first...until she removes her full-face, Latex Perfection mask to reveal an eerie, bloody, decidedly Priscilla-esque mug.
  • Hard Work Hardly Works: The root of (at least some of) her disdain for Dollya. She campaigned very hard for DragulaWorldnote , with the hope that doing so would show her dedication to the show, so the fact that Dollya doesn't even care about DragulaWorld and still got cast on the show irks her to no end.
  • Lower-Class Lout: Her drag persona is a trashy, tacky, filthy working-class woman. She even maintains a "drag trailer" instead of a drag house just to drive the point home.
  • My Country Tis of Thee That I Sting: Her "Supervillains" look is an Evil Counterpart to the all-American superhero archetype, representing her perception of America as more villainous than heroic.
  • Nailed to the Wagon: Wherein Dragula itself is the wagon. She was in the throes of addiction when she applied, and went sober just so she could compete.
  • Shout-Out: When faced with her first Extermination Challenge, she asks "Can't I just lip sync for my life?"
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: While she had shown some disdain for Dollya previously, she suddenly becomes extremely hostile toward her in Episode 7. She does apologize and make amends in the following episode, but it's still odd to see the normally sweet Priscilla lash out at Dollya so ferociously.
  • Vulgar Humor: Priscilla was the filth queen of Season 3, from her Meet Our Monsters look where she affixed cigarettes to her body as if they had been burnt onto her skin and then stuck several lit cigarettes directly into her mouth, to the above mention of her bringing two chemically preserved stillborn cattle fetuses with her for the Haunted Hospital Floor Show.

Landon Cider (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/landon_bbd_s3.png
From: Long Beach, CA
Pronouns: He/Him

  • Call-Back: He references Season 1's iconic "NOT TONIIIGHT" moment in the "Dungeons and Drag Queens" skit.
  • Camera Abuse: The "Dungeons and Drag Queens" floorshow ends with his elf barbarian smugly swinging his mace at the camera.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Landon is a cisgender woman and Dragula's first drag king competitor. Because drag reality competition shows are largely dominated by drag queens, Landon is the Ur-Example of both a drag king contestant and a drag king winner.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: In Episode 8, guest judge Rachel True remarks on how odd it is that she, as a heterosexual woman, is attracted to Landon, a lesbian woman, even though he is in drag as a sexy wolf-man. Priscilla, herself a woman attracted to men, and Swanthula, a gay man, are similarly enamored with him.
  • Exotic Equipment: His character for "Le Freak" has three penises of varying size.
  • In-Universe Factoid Failure: His portrayal of a mad super-genius in the "Operating Theatre" challenge might have been a bit more effective had he not spelled "intelligence" as "inteligence" on his book prop.
  • Mr. Fanservice: His drag persona has a penchant for nudity and a very handsome mug, and he jokes that "all the gay boys want to suck [his] sock". This was exemplified by the "Halloween Haunt" Floor Show where he presented a buff, hairy, popper-sniffing, werewolf leather daddy that was an instant hit with the judges and fans alike.
  • My Brain Is Big: His character in the "Operating Theatre" challenge conducts experiments that aggregate the size of his brain to increase his intellect, causing the grey matter to overflow from the top of his head.
  • Oh, Crap!: The first Fright Feat of the season sees the ghouls open a series of makeup compacts, one of which earns the owner a free cruise and another of which earns the owner the "opportunity" to eat a chalice full of spiders. He's visibly distressed when he opens his compact and realizes he got the latter.
  • Robosexuals Are Creeps: His Finale Filth Floor Show mines a lot of Squick factor from his unkempt pervert character's embrace of a sex doll.
  • Signature Headgear: Almost always wears a hat that reads "SHERO" in all caps when out of drag.

    Resurrection

Frankie Doom (4th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/frankieresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Los Angeles, CA
Original Appearance: Season 1 (runner-up)

  • Badass Cape: She incorporates one into her Witch Floor Show that, by her account, is made of over 20 yards of fabric, to give the look a dramatic and imposing feel while also remaining true to the Grand High Witch Whole Costume Reference.
  • Dramatic Unmask: At the beginning of her Witch Floor Show, she holds a mask with a standard (if somewhat cartoonish) glamour mug in front of her face, then whisks it off to reveal a deeply grotesque facial prosthetic.
  • Feral Vampires: Her Vampire Floor Show is her imagining of "the first ever vampire", a primal, decidedly feral bat-woman hybrid.
  • Sinister Schnoz: The prosthetic she wears for her Witch Floor Show has a very pronounced, hooked, warty nose, as is typical in depictions of the Grand High Witch in particular and Wicked Witches in general.
  • Wanted a Gender-Conforming Child: She notes that her family was unreceptive toward her drag career largely because of their hopes that she'd turn out more masculine.
  • Whole Costume Reference: For her Witch Floor Show, she pays homage to Anjelica Huston's Grand High Witch in The Witches.
  • Wight in a Wedding Dress: Her Ghost Floor Show is an homage to La Llorona clothed in a simultaneously very ornate and very grimy wedding gown.

Kendra Onixxx (4th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kendraresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Riverside, CA
Pronouns: She/Her
Original Appearance: Season 2 (8th)

  • Face Your Fears: In a club performance after Season 2, Kendra did fire-breathing stunt that went seriously wrong, leaving her with second degree burns on her face. For her Ghost Floor Show, she proves that she has recovered physically and emotionally after the incident by doing the very same fire-breathing stunt that injured her previously.
  • Hollywood Voodoo: Her Witch Floor Show look incorporates various forms of tribal-looking garb and mystical symbols to evoke a Voodoo practicioner who, when she's not concerned with more Witch Doctor-ly pursuits, has a penchant for violence, death, and curses.
Kendra: You will see this bitch in Africa, ripping people's hearts out, delivering babies, chopping they motherfuckin' head off, and cursing bitches!
  • Looks Like Orlok: For the Vampire Floor Show, she starts off with a more conventionally glamorous Classical Movie Vampire look, then gradually peels parts of her get-up off to reveal a bald, grotesque creature much more reminiscent of this archetype.
  • Skeletons in the Coat Closet: Her character for the Witch Floor Show wears a distressed impala skull as a headpiece, which serves to both complete her homage to African religions and give the look an eerie, morbid quality.

Loris (4th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lorisresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 1 (5th)

  • The Cameo: During their interview for the Ghost Floor Show, it's suddenly revealed that Loris has begun dating Honey Davenport from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 11.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Loris' skills at crafting outfits out of latex is above and beyond, but their focus on flaunting their unique talent ends up detracting from the ability of their looks to fit the categories.
  • Dressed All in Rubber: Loris prides themselves on their skills in making outfits out of latex.
  • Plague Doctor: Their Vampire Floor Show initially gives the appearance of one of these, clothed as they are in a Hazmat Suit and the archetypal Plague Doctor mask, before ripping it off to reveal that they themself are the plague.
  • Sinister Scraping Sound: Loris decides to incorporate an angle grinder to make a sparking light show for their Vampire Floor Show.
  • Two-Faced: Of the Janus variety. Their Witch Floor Show has a standard, semi-glamorous mug on one side, and a shriveled, green-skinned, white-eyed, beastly face on the other.
    • Their ghost look is of the standard variety, split between a woman experiencing suicidal ideation and a male demon that feeds those suicidal thoughts, functioning as a metaphor for depression.
  • Verbal Tic: They shamelessly exploit any opportunity afforded to them to affirm themself as "that bitch", even referring to their Witch Floor Show as "that witch".

Priscilla Chambers (4th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/priscillaresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Asheville, NC
Pronouns: She/Her
Original Appearance: Season 3 (runner-up)

  • Disposable Sex Worker: Deconstructed with her Ghost Floor Show, where she embodies the ghost of a murdered prostitute as a tribute to the oft-overlooked trans women of color who experience fatal violence while performing survival sex work.
  • Reptiles Are Abhorrent: Her Witch Floor Show heavily incorporates a taxidermied alligator (with various parts being worn on her head, as a "chin fascinator", and everywhere else you can imagine) to evoke both an association with the swamp and an association with the mystical.
  • Swamps Are Evil: Her Witch Floor Show depicts an evil witch who resides in a swamp, lurking menacingly in the water and feeding on the swamp fauna.

Victoria Black (3rd)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/victoriaresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Orlando, FL
Pronouns: She/Her
Original Appearance: Season 2 (runner-up)

  • The Ace: Victoria evidences throughout the special that she is perhaps one of the most technically skilled Dragula contestants ever, demonstrating mastery in makeup, garment construction, special effects, prosthetics, and even building her own sets. The Boulets strongly imply that the only reason she didn't win is that it'd be unfair to stick her back on a regular season because she'd win it easily.
  • Call-Back: She explains that her Ghost Floor Show was the ghost of the cadaver she used as a prop for her Finale Filth Floor Show on Season 2.
  • Creepy Long Fingers: She uses "finger extensions" sculpted on a cast of her own finger to amplify the creepiness of her "bog witch" character for the Witch Floor Show.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Despite the critiques she received on her original season, Victoria is still plagued with her fixation on prosthetic mastery, which lends itself to an inability to "drag up" her looks.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Her Witch Floor Show character has a completely bare chest, which she attributes to the character being very primal and alienated from society rather than deliberate sexiness. Whether it leans more toward fanservice or Fan Disservice depends on whether you're into greenish, rotting flesh, though.
  • Poster-Gallery Bedroom: As she discusses how she and her husband are massive Dragula fangirls, the viewer is treated to various close-up shots of a wall in her room covered entirely in signed posters from Dragula alums, including some from Vicky's own season, to hammer the point home.
  • Resigned to the Call: Victoria admits that she only agreed to appear on Resurrection to display her art and expertise to the world and would rather not actually participate in Season 4, as she feels she is so on the top of her game that it would not be fair to compete against a new cast of ghouls. The Boulets end up agreeing.
  • Snakes Are Sinister: Her Witch Floor Show incorporates an actual live snake that presumably serves as a Familiar to Vicky's witch character.

Dahli (2nd)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dahliresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: He/Him & They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 2 (7th)

  • Better to Die than Be Killed: He clarifies that he threw his extermination challenge on Season 2 because he felt that it would be better for his then-fragile sense of self to leave on his terms rather than suffer the emotional toll of being eliminated.
  • Nature Spirit: Their Ghost Floor Show is a tree spirit with a tangled web of butterfly-covered branches growing out of its body.
  • Redemption Quest: He admits that he gave up during Season 2's extermination challenge and clarifies that he regrets this decision immensely and wants to redeem himself from it.
  • The Stinger: After all of the ghouls (save for Saint) are killed by the Boulets' killer video tape and the credits roll, Dahli is seen suddenly coming back to life.

Saint (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/saintresurrectionpromo.jpg
From: Acworth, GA
Pronouns: He/Him, She/Her, & They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 3 (10th)

  • Bedsheet Ghost: Their Ghost Floor Show is an homage to this trope in which an actual, much scarier ghost disguises itself as one of these to blend in with trick-or-treaters. It retains the essential aspects of a Bedsheet ghost - amorphous body made of white fabric, two big circular eyes, etc. - while also keeping its other foot in the realm of pure Nightmare Fuel thanks to its Scary Teeth and pitch-black frame.
  • Fang Thpeak: Her post-Floor Show interview after presenting her ghost look is audibly mush-mouthed, implying that she left the Scary Teeth prosthetic in for the interview.
  • His Story Repeats Itself: Once again, he's faced with the challenge to create a vampire look, the very thing that got him sent home on Season 3, and must right his previous wrong to redeem himself and regain entry into the competition.
  • Macabre Moth Motif: While, by their own account, moths are something of a motif for them in general, they play up this trope especially well in their Witch Floor Show, in which they embody an ethereal, eerie witch casting spells in the dead of night while covered in fake moths.
  • Really Gets Around: That a random sampling of six Dragula contestants contains multiple of Saint's old sexual partners (Dahli has exchanged nudes with her, Frankie has had some unspecified experience with her that warrants her number being in Frankie's phone) indicates that she's gotten around quite a bit in the short time since her season.
Saint: (after hearing Frankie's very explicit voicemail) I'm a whore, so...I'm okay with this.
  • Spiked Blood: During the Vampire Floor Show lip sync, Saint dresses up as a vampire hippie, takes out a piece of blotting paper, and adds a drop of blood to it before putting it on his tongue as if it was a hit of acid. He goes from a prim and clean ethereal performance to a frenetic and blood-drenched one.
  • Took a Level in Badass: By their own account, on Season 3 they were much more reserved and insecure about their art, but since then they've developed both the skills and confidence to carry themself like a true supermonster.

    Season 4

Formelda Hyde (11th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/formeldahyde.jpg
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: He/Him & They/Them

  • Cool Mask: Another mask queen, though unlike Monikkie, we actually get to see Formelda's face out of drag.
  • Deadly Doctor: The majority of his looks draw on his fear of needles and hospitals by depicting eerie, Ax-Crazy doctors.
  • Flat Character: They're very technically skilled, but their competitors don't see them as a threat simply because their restrained personality and lack of live drag experience make them a bit dull as a drag personality.
  • Freaky Fashion, Mild Mind: His looks are genuinely horrific, with his promo look possibly being the single creepiest promo in Dragula history, but his personality is surprisingly quiet and non-combative.
  • Reality Show Genre Blindness: Masked ghouls and Club Kid Boot-wearers never make it far on Dragula, so the fact that Formelda wore a mask and club kid boots for their promo look, their entrance look, and their first Floor Show is this in spades.
    • Lampshaded in the Last Supper episode where a fan question asked if Formelda had ever seen the show before. He then revealed that the shoes he meant to wear had broken and it was either Club Kid boots or no boots at all.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: As Season 4's first victim, he experienced very little screentime.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: He reveals in his "Meet Our Monsters" video that the only extermination challenge that would make him genuinely uncomfortable is eating bugs. Guess who gets vermin dumped all over his face as soon as he lands in the bottom?

Astrud Aurelia (10th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/astrudaurelia.jpg
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

  • Break the Haughty: Becomes overly confident after winning the first challenge, then ends up in the bottom two in the very next one. It ends up humbling her pretty hard, and she descends into an anxious spiral.
  • Face–Heel Turn: While Astrud comes off as plenty likable at first, being put up for extermination in Episode 2 brings out a particularly nasty and self-centered side of them that even resident Alpha Bitch Zavaleta sees as rude and unprofessional.
  • Family Honor: She frequently brings up her relation to Dahli (it's even the first thing she says about herself in her introductory confessional) and her narrative on the show is largely about her relationship to their legacy.
  • Generation Xerox: Much like Dahli (their drag parent) on their original season, they performed well early on, began a Romance on the Set with a future finalist, had a breakdown the first time they were put up for extermination, and went home earlier than anticipated.
  • Heroic BSoD: She has a full-on panic attack after landing in the bottom two for the first time.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Dahli's reflection on her elimination implies that their passion for competition in general and Dragula in particular was inspired by the pressure that they put on them to succeed.

Koco Caine (9th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kococaine.jpg
From: Tulsa, OK
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Attractive Zombie: They're a self-described "ex-zombie hooker, current zombie stripper" who incorporates sex appeal and Bloody Horror into their drag in equal measure, naturally evoking a sexy undead creature.
  • Character Tic: They have a tendency to absentmindedly dangle their (absurdly long, bedazzled) nails in their mouth.
  • Deadpan Snarker: They have a quick wit and a love for delivering slick, sarcastic comebacks, whether to the other ghouls' faces or via Confession Cam.
  • I Work Alone: They struggle greatly to work with Merrie in the "Nosferatu Beach Party" challenge, and while part of that is Merrie's domineering tendencies, Koco is also self-admittedly very unwilling to sacrifice their drag aesthetic for the benefit of their team.
  • Pop-Cultural Osmosis Failure: Didn't realize that the "Nosferatu Beach Party" briefing was calling for retro looks because it referenced Ann-Margret and they didn't know who that was.

Merrie Cherry (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/merriecherry.jpg
From: Brooklyn, NY
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Bonding over Missing Parents: Averted. She and Sigourney both lost close family members prior to filming, but their squabbling prevented them from being truly there for each other and bonding over their shared experiences. The Boulets even mention in the Last Supper that they were expecting this trope to come into play when they casted them.
  • Break the Haughty: Throughout most of her stay, she had been a bully towards Sigourney as well as overconfident in her skills. When the ghouls are asked who should go home next after the "Monsters of Rock" challenge, all of the other ghouls say Merrie due to her performance and refusing to listen to Sigourney, who was their team's leader. Hearing this, Merrie is brought to tears and unable to give a name of her own.
  • Camp: Merrie's drag leans more towards campy comedy than Filth, Horror, or Glamour, much like Meatball before her.
  • Description Cut: When she chides Sigourney for saying "I'm gonna hope for the best" in regards to Glam Rot's upcoming performance.
Merrie (via Confession Cam): "Hope for the best"? Way to go, team leader. It's ridiculous! I would never say that. I would never say that.
[cut to a black-and-white flashback of Merrie addressing Koco in Episode 2]
Merrie: Hope for the best, darling, hope for the best.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She can be downright awful to Sigourney, but she also has a very caring and sympathetic side that is on display when she gives Jade moral support and consoles Betty when she's worried about being exterminated.
  • Large Ham: She's unabashedly very loud and dramatic, and she commands the attention of any room she's in. The Last Supper even features a very thorough montage of her yelling, falling out of her seat, and breaking out into laughter at her own jokes.
  • Leader Wannabe: Spends just about all of Episode 4 in this mode, as she refuses to cede authority to Sigourney, the designated team leader, and dominates every discussion Sigourney has with the team.
  • Meaningful Appearance: While the norm in drag is high, fancy heels, Merrie's very pedestrian slippers stand out from the pack as being so blatantly un-queenlike that the Boulets deem them her signature shoe.
  • Miss Kitty: While several of the other ghouls serve brothel-themed looks for the "Weird Wild West" challenge, Merrie one-ups them by playing their boss. As a Green-Skinned Space Babe, naturally.
  • Motor Mouth: She's very talkative, especially in comparison to some of the more subdued personalities of Season 4. She'll pipe up with a lengthy anecdote or rant given even the smallest moment of silence, and sometimes won't even wait for other people to stop talking before saying her piece.

Bitter Betty (7th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bitterbetty.jpg
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Actually Pretty Funny: Jade attempts to disparage her by calling her a "boozehound", but Betty takes no offense and actually embraces the label, citing At Least I Admit It.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Betty is completely unaware that she was in the top 3 for the Weird Wild West episode for her Dolly Parton-meets-Terminator look, a fact that she gets ribbed for in the next couple of episodes.
  • The Eeyore: Despite well-meaning objections from her fellow competitors (and the Boulets themselves, who give her favorable critiques on several occasions), she can't seem to shake the feeling that her high placements are undeserved and has a deeply pessimistic view of her standing in the competition, giving some of the ghouls the impression that she lacks the confidence and drive necessary for the competition.
  • Half-Witted Hillbilly: She often self-deprecatingly applies this trope to herself, attributing her shortcomings to the fact that she's a "hill person" who's "a little bit slow".
  • Take That!: Her entrance into the Haunted House sends up RuPaul's Drag Race's Werk Room entrance line Running Gag:
Betty: ...I'm not gonna have to say some cheesy fuckin' tagline now, am I?
    Astrud: Please don't.
  • Terminator Impersonator: Her "Weird Wild West" look is a Distaff Counterpart of the Terminator implied to be a Dolly Parton-impersonating robot that malfunctioned and became Ax-Crazy.

Jade Jolie (6th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jadejolietbbd4.jpg
From: Louisville, KY
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Ascended Meme: After coming back from the Monsters of Rock extermination challenge, Jade enters the Boudoir with a proclamation of "She's back...rolls!", referencing her memetic feud with Alyssa Edwards on Drag Race in which she disparaged the latter for having "rolls all over the place in the back".
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Her competitors seem to see her as this, with Betty outright calling her "Jekyll and Hyde". She later reveals that her tendency to alternate between confrontational and sweet is influenced by her Bipolar Disorder.
  • Crossover: Jade is the first RuPaul's Drag Race alumna to compete on Dragula.
  • Despair Event Horizon: The death of her beloved pet cat during filming renders the previously-fiery Jade sullen and unmotivated to continue, resulting in her extermination.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: She makes a conscious effort to be kind whenever possible, and the loss of her pet cat during filming hammers home how affectionate and emotional she is.
  • The Krampus: Her "Hairy Monsters" look is a dragged-up version of Krampus with long, thick locks of hair with baby-doll parts strewn through them.
  • Lipstick-and-Load Montage: She pauses her Rockers Smash Guitars moment just before the smash in the "Monsters of Rock" Floor Show to apply a layer of lip gloss.
  • Noodle Incident: Dragula makes a point of never bringing up that other drag reality competition show, which makes things awkward for Jade since she has actually competed on it and it's a big part of her narrative on Dragula. Jade and her competitors work around this by exclusively referring to it as "another show" and never actually going into specifics about what happened on "another show".

La Zavaleta (5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lazavaleta.jpg
From: Mexico City, Mexico / Brooklyn, NY
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

  • Absurd Phobia: Considering how much trauma Zava endured in their youth, you'd think they'd cite something more scary than The Cat in the Hat as their greatest childhood fear.
  • Catchphrase: "Life made me this bitch".
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She's dealt with a lot of hardship in her life and is still traumatized from the death of her sister.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: After the events of Episode 5's cauldron, in which their bitchy tendencies very much came to a head at the expense of the other ghouls, they extend a genuine apology to Sigourney and Jade and walk back their bitchy persona.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: She dealt with some serious trauma in her youth, but she rationalizes it as having made her a stronger and less emotional person, which makes her very hostile to people feeling sympathetic towards her.
  • Freudian Excuse : Zava has been through lots of trauma in her life as well as the death of her sister, which may give her an explanation for her bitchy behavior.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: They can be rude sometimes, but they also comfort HoSo during Astrud's BSOD, help Betty talk through her frustrations with Jade, and they're even a former preschool teacher.
  • Lesbian Vampire: She and Saint play up this trope in their "Nosferatu Beach Party" performance, which sees Saint seducing Zava with pool toys and culminates in her feeding on Zava in a very suggestive manner.
  • Lovable Alpha Bitch: Though they play up their bitchiness as much as possible in the first few episodes and rub some of their competitors the wrong way, by the latter half of the season the other ghouls have all grown quite close to them and don't want to see them go home.
  • Robot Soldier: Her "Weird Wild West" look envisions Emiliano Zapata as a mechanized freedom fighter, complete with a massive Arm Cannon.
  • Sexy Cat Person: Their performance of their Bloodier and Gorier version of The Cat in the Hat in the "Hairy Monsters" challenge evokes this via the costume's assless chaps-shaped fur pattern and their suggestive dance moves.
  • Shout-Out: She calls Sigourney out for talking shit about her by quoting Nicki Minaj's infamous "Miley, what's good?" moment at the 2015 VMAs.
  • Sissy Villain: The evil satanic priest they portray in "Exorsisters" is the epitome of Camp Gay.
  • Spicy Latina: She's very proud of her Mexican heritage, and her looks are just as sultry as her personality is abrasive.

HoSo Terra Toma (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hosoterratoma.jpg
From: Seoul, South Korea
Pronouns: She/Her & They/Them

  • Appropriated Appellation: HoSo is Korean slang for "Little Fag" (호모 소년 Homo So-Nyeon).
  • Asians Eat Pets: Invoked in their Finale Filth Floor Show, an ironic embodiment of just about every anti-Asian stereotype in the book that culminates in them ripping meat out from the interior of a taxidermied dog and eating it raw.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's normally a sweetheart, but, by her own admission, she "gets really mean when she's angry". She proves this in Episode 5's cauldron, in which she demonstrates a previously-unseen mean streak, disparaging everyone else's looks while claiming hers deserved more recognition.
  • Big Red Devil: Their "Summoned Demons" look has all the hallmarks of a classic red, horned, moustachioed demon, with a twist - they're also a sharply-dressed lawyer who will draw up a contract for your Deal with the Devil.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Korean is her native language, and she occasionally speaks Korean and incorporates Korean characters into her looks.
  • Deliberate Values Dissonance: Their Finale Filth Floor Show is a grotesque exaggeration of racist stereotypes of Asian people in American culture. They show up on stage in a face mask that they rip off to reveal buck teeth and rodent-like features, and they perform a variety of stereotypically "Asian" movements before eating a fake dog.
  • Foreign-Language Tirade: Briefly slips into her native Korean when complaining about her low placement in the "Ghostship Glamour" challenge.
  • Moth Menace: Her "Hairy Monsters" look is a massive, terrifying moth-human hybrid with huge claws, a horrific face, and the neon coloration of a Rosy Maple Moth.
  • Reluctant Monster: They describe their "Hairy Monsters" creature as a sweet, innocent being who "just wants to play but scares all the children away".
  • Shout-Out: Her re-entrance line after being put up for extermination in Episode 5 references Drag Race contestant Dida Ritz's entrance line.
    HoSo: Bonjour, ladies!
  • Youkai: HoSo describes their drag as "Drag Youkai", drawing inspiration from all sorts of East Asian mythology and spiritual belief.
  • Voice of the Legion: HoSo's posessed teenager character in the "Exorsisters" acting challenge alternates between this voice when the demon is in control and her natural speaking voice when the teenager is in control.

Saint (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sainttbbd4.jpg
From: Harlem, NY
Pronouns: He/Him, She/Her, & They/Them
Original Appearances: Season 3 (10th), Resurrection (winner)

  • Always Second Best: Fears he's getting this treatment after continually placing high but failing to secure a win.
  • The Bus Came Back: Though they were eliminated early on in their original season, as the winner of the Resurrection special, Saint was given the opportunity to return for Season 4.
  • Call-Back: Per Word of God, all of her Finale Floor Shows reference previous looks of hers: Glamour is the wife of the boat captain from the "Ghostship Glamour" challenge, Filth is the vampire from Resurrection pre-bite, and Horror is the one who rendered her mime from the "Killer Clowns" challenge unable to speak.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Saint is great at playing ethereal, slow-moving characters, but doesn't really do much else. The Boulets start to call him out on it after a while.
  • Enemy Mime: They portray a monstrous, tortured mime cursed by their evil tooth fairy character to be perpetually silent in the "Killer Clowns" challenge.
  • Lesbian Vampire: She and Zava play up this trope in their "Nosferatu Beach Party" performance, which sees Saint seducing Zava with pool toys and culminates in her feeding on Zava in a very suggestive manner.
  • Masochist's Meal: His Finale Filth Floor Show has him scooping and eating (fake) cat poop out of a litter box, culminating in a shot of his face covered in brown liquid.
  • Our Angels Are Different: For the Summoned Demon Floor Show, Saint references their drag name by presenting a terrifying and bloody fallen angel.
  • Resigned to the Call: When the Boulets ask the cast if they would want to participate in a future Resurrection or other season, Saint is the only one who does not raise their hand. When pressed, she says that she has spent the last 3 years competing on Dragula and is ready to move on.
  • Set Right What Once Went Wrong: His first time competing in a vampire-themed challenge on the second episode of a season did not go well, but the amount of growth and competitive know-how he gained between Seasons 3 and 4 enabled him to avoid the mistakes he made the first time and actually win Season 4's second-episode vampire challenge.
  • Smoky Voice: They improvise a chain-smoker character in Episode 6 (and briefly revisit it in Episode 7) whose voice is severely scratchy.

Sigourney Beaver (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sigourneybeaver.jpg
From: Chicago, IL
Pronouns: She/Her

  • All of the Other Reindeer: She's looked down upon by the other ghouls for having a comparatively "mainstream" style of drag and not embracing filth and horror.
  • Bonding over Missing Parents: Averted. She and Merrie both lost close family members prior to filming, but their squabbling prevented them from being truly there for each other and bonding over their shared experiences. The Boulets even mention in the Last Supper that they were expecting this trope to come into play when they casted them.
  • Catchphrase: "For free?" in Episode 1, though some of her competitors see it as more of a Forced Meme.
    • She also gets some mileage out of "What a time."
  • Crippling Overspecialization: She's extremely good at serving Glamour, but struggles with Filth and Horror.
  • Determinator: She survives four exterminations to get to the Finale (five if you count the Haunted House in Episode 1), making her the record holder for most exterminations survived in Dragula history. And she was grieving the death of her recently-deceased mother the whole time. Seemingly nothing can hold Sigourney back.
  • Distaff Counterpart: She's Dragula's first cis woman drag queen, and she uses the platform to talk about the discrimination that cis women experience in the world of drag and how hard she's had to fight to get the same opportunities as cis men drag queens.
  • Ice-Cream Koan: Evoked when she uses a bizarre variant of the "life gives you lemons" adage to console HoSo after Astrud's elimination.
Sigourney: Sometimes, life gives you a bag of shit, and you have to make it work, or you end up covered in shit.
Koco: No, girl, you light it on fire and you throw it at your enemy's front door. I'm not keeping a bag of shit, honey!
  • The Igor: Her character in the "Exorsisters" acting challenge evokes this trope via a hunched, nasally-voiced assistant to Zavaleta's Sissy Villain.
  • Mad Scientist: The primary visual reference for her Finale Horror Filth Show performance, a scientist mixing up and drinking her own chemical concoctions.
  • Mini-Me: She gives herself one made of styrofoam named "Sigarette" for the "Killer Clowns" challenge that wears an exact replica of her outfit and makeup.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: When she introduces herself in the haunted house, Merrie actually mishears her name as "Sigourney Weaver".
  • "No More Holding Back" Speech: After a whole season of having to put up with her alt-drag credentials questioned, HoSo's insinuation that she "doesn't have Dragula in her blood" opens the floodgates for a passionate speech from Sigourney about the exclusion of cisgender women in drag.
  • Rise of Zitboy: Sigourney's Finale Filth Floor Show sees her in a gorgeous sheer robe and glam hair, as though she's about to have a luxurious night in...until she turns around to reveal a face full of acne, which she pops to reveal oozing slimy pus that she eats.
  • Sheep in Sheep's Clothing: Her distant but polite manner leads several of her competitors to believe she's trying to manipulate either them or the show's editing - or, in their words, "play a game" - but she reveals in the reunion that she comes off that way because she's trying to cope with her mother's death.
  • Tear Off Your Face: Her Finale Horror Filth Show has her Mad Scientist character drinking "chemicals" before she begins to peel away the skin on her face, revealing blood underneath.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: She's enthusiastic about having the opportunity to work with her Glam Rot bandmates at first, but after Merrie steamrolls her and Jade and Betty fall to petty bickering, she changes her tune, growing to resent her bandmates and avoiding them to spend time with the other team whenever possible.

Dahli (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dahlitbbd4.jpg
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: He/Him & They/Them
Original Appearances: Season 2 (7th), (Resurrection (runner-up)

  • The Bus Came Back: Dahli was given a second chance at the competition after their performance in the Resurrection special, despite the fact that, since Saint technically won Resurrection, you'd be forgiven for assuming we'd never see them again.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The mother of all Dark and Troubled Pasts - he's a former member of Blood on the Dance Floor who was abused by Dahvie Vanity. The experience is an endless well of both guilt and trauma for him.
  • Girls with Moustaches: While he typically embodies masculine characters in drag with the help of his signature moustache, the "Exorsisters" acting challenge requires him to play a suburban mother...who, naturally, also ends up wearing the signature 'stache.
  • Hot for Preacher: The only time they see Zava as a sexual prospect is when she's portraying her Camp Gay priest character in "Exorsisters".
Dahli: Zava's gay priest is, I think, the very first time that I've been like...'it's hot'. Why is it hot? What's wrong with me?
  • Innocent Fanservice Non-Binary Person: He's very good-looking out of drag, and he tends to be very physical and naked in drag, but he claims that his performances aren't meant to be sexual and finds it strange that people are attracted to his drag character.
  • Looks Like Orlok: Their "Nosferatu Beach Party" look is easily the most Nosferatu-esque of the bunch, with the bald head, monstrous face, Creepy Long Fingers, and hunched stance of an Orlok-inspired vamp.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: He blames himself for Astrud's breakdown, theorizing that, by constantly encouraging Astrud to apply for the show, he unwittingly fostered her competition-obsessed mindset.
  • Only Sane Man: Often, given their drama-avoidant nature, but especially during Episode 5's cauldron. While everyone is at each other's throats, they're trying to talk the ghouls down and give them reassurance, and when that doesn't work, they just stare straight into the camera and say "The fuck is happening?"
  • Redemption Quest: He wants to redeem himself from his BSOD-turned-Shocking Elimination halfway through his original season, in addition to his history with BOTDF, by winning Season 4.
  • The Runner-Up Takes It All: Was first runner-up for Resurrection behind Saint, but was ultimately offered a spot on Season 4 anyways and ended up beating out Saint in the finale to win the whole season.
  • Sinister Minister: Their upbringing as a Jehovah's Witness inspired the Finale Horror Floor Show look of an emaciated zombie priest, describing it as being taught that they would starve without believing in the church's gospel.
  • Sixth Ranger: Though Dahli woke up in The Stinger for Resurrection, his participation in Season 4 was kept secret to the point that he was not featured in the "Meet Our Monsters" teaser video and all of Episode 1.
  • Team Mom: While the Season 4 cast is full of abrasive personalities that are constantly butting heads, Dahli never engages in drama, and in fact often helps the other ghouls resolve their differences. They're also very kind, friendly, and non-judgemental, even in confessional.
  • Visual Development: Dahli's style has evolved significantly since season 2, becoming more defined and shifting away from femme. Dahli themselves acts more lively than they did in season 2 and generally looks to be in a more physically and mentally healthy place.

    Titans

Yovska (10th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yovskatitansminipromo.png
From: Toronto, ON, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them
Original Appearance: (9th)

  • Crippling Overspecialization: Yovska is great at high concept looks that play on childlike concepts. However, she's not a performer in a cast of performers and it sends her packing early.
  • Living Toys: Her promo look is a human-sized teddy bear who, upon the removal of its outer lining in the face and chest area, is revealed to be a creepy animate skeleton.
  • Pumpkin Person: Their "Halloween House Party" concept is a pumpkin-headed creature who also sports a pair of pumpkins on their chest in lieu of tits.
  • Sinister Sweet Tooth: Her "Wicked Witches" look combines creepy skulls and a mutilated face with candy-related imagery, causing it to come off in equal measure as saccharine and creepy.
  • Wearing a Flag on Your Head: Their entrance look is rendered in the colors of the Canadian flag, referencing their Canadian citizenship, complete with a teensy little Canadian flag affixed to their hand.

Kendra Onixxx (9th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kendratitansminipromo.png
From: Riverside, CA
Pronouns: She/Her
Original Appearances: Season 2 (8th), Resurrection (4th=)

  • Bald of Evil: In contrast to Abhora's witch, who was forced to go wigless due to the "Baldness Curse", Kendra's witch is intentionally bald, which, combined with the glittery body-paint applied to her head, gives her wicked voodoo witch an otherwordly and creepy quality.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Well, purple-skinned, but her "Sci-Fi Horror" look is a bratty teenage alien girl who looks more-or-less human save for her magenta skin.
  • Frankenstein's Monster: Her "Halloween House Party" look bears the classic visual traits of The Monster (that is, uneven green skin and a zombie-like gait) in addition to a spiked collar, leather suit, and rectangular afro that give it a sort of leather butch edge.
  • Technician vs. Performer: Kendra is regarded as one of the best live performers in the franchise, but her runways just can't compare to the attention and detail of her competitors. This sends her home.
  • Valley Girl: Her "Sci-Fi Horror" look is a self-absorbed, materialistic teenage alien girl who chews out a family member over the phone for not letting her go shopping with "Grandmother Bitch"'s money.

Erika Klash (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/erikatitansminipromo.png
From: Queens, NY
Pronouns: She/Her and They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 2 (6th)

  • Bat People: Their "Halloween House Party" look is a bat-human hybrid with a humanoid body, but the wings, facial features, and fur of a bat.
  • Determinator: Erika returns as queen of the Fright Fest and dominates when it comes to elimination challenges.
  • Green and Mean: Her "Wicked Witch" look, in typical Erika fashion, has a variety of bright colors in its palette that contrast with the character's evil nature, with the skin being almost entirely a sickly bluish-green.
  • Our Hydras Are Different: Their "Sci-Fi Horror" look is an homage to King Ghidorah, a three-headed superpowered alien reptile that they describe as a "space Hydra".
  • Sinister Schnoz: Her evil candy-witch look for the "Wicked Witch" challenge prominently features a prosthetic of a massive, thoroughly hooked nose.
  • Sinister Sweet Tooth: Their "Wicked Witch" character is an evil, candy-loving witch whose outfit is covered from head to toe in little candy decals.
  • The Stoic: Erika cannot let herself have fun during this season, and never finds her comfort. Unable to let go and enjoy the ride, she bottoms twice before going home in the fourth episode.

Abhora (7th, originally 10th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/abhoratitansminipromo.png
From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: He/Him, They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 2 (4th)

  • Angelic Abomination: His "Sci-Fi Horror" look is a biblically accurate angel meshed with some sort of Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror entity, combining the stereotypical angel eye-rings and wings with gross deformations and broken chains symbolizing the terror of the unknowable.
  • The Bus Came Back: After being eliminated by group vote in Episode 1, they're brought back immediately at the beginning of Episode 2 as a "treat for them, trick for [the other ghouls]".
  • Completely Off-Topic Report: Abhora repeatedly gets thrown into the bottom with the same critiques: his looks are artistic, fashionable and creative, but they fail to actually fit the prompts of each challenge. He's eliminated in the very first episode because his take on an "iconic Halloween costume" couldn't even be identified by the judges. He then dresses as a "biblically accurate angel" (which is mistaken for a clown) for the Sci-Fi challenge, and as a cheerleader for the Prom Queen challenge, the latter of which sends him home again.
    • Dramatic Irony: He claims his Halloween look was meant to be an alien, which would have been a more appropriate choice for the later Sci-Fi challenge. Instead it meant he would be repeating himself to be an alien for the Sci-Fi challenge, leading to his angel look instead. The look he wore into the boudoir on the first day was also much closer to a prom queen than his cheerleader look.
  • Dramatically Missing the Point: In nearly every challenge, he misses the prompt. First, he got eliminated in the first episode when his "Halloween House Party" look couldn't be identified as an alien. Then, two episodes after Abhora was reinstated into the competition, his "biblically accurate angel" look didn't fit the Sci-Fi Horror challenge and he just barely survived being eliminated. Eventually, Abhora gets sent home again after his cheerleader look in the "Zombie Prom" challenge failed to fit the theme.
  • Dogged Nice Guy: Abhora is very attracted to HoSo, who has made it clear to him that she doesn't reciprocate his affections. Nevertheless, he seems incapable of getting over her and constantly dotes on her while laboring over what her platonic expressions of appreciation for him really mean. It gets to a point that other competitors are confused whether HoSo really is leading him on or not.
  • Informed Species: Their "Halloween House Party" look was apparently meant to be the Flatwoods Monster, but it's so un-reminiscent of both the Flatwoods Monster in particular and any monster in general that neither the Boulets nor the other ghouls can tell what it's supposed to be. Though, Kendra stated that Abhora said they were supposed to be an alien pretending to be a human that was pretending to be an alien for halloween.
  • Jealous Romantic Witness: Whenever HoSo, the object of Abhora's attraction, and Astrud are shown expressing affection for one another, expect a cut to Abhora sulking, rolling his eyes or staring in disbelief.
  • Love Makes You Dumb: Abhora was a major contender in his original season, but their affections for Hoso take a toll on them. As a result, they become the only competitor to be eliminated twice.
  • Not Good with Rejection: Simply seeing HoSo and Astrud happy together in the previous episode's cauldron causes them to spend the entirety of Episode 3 in a depressed haze, constantly self-deprecating and struggling to even summon the energy to participate in the challenge.
  • Sinister Schnoz: Abhora's Signature Style is his bird beak-esque nose.

Melissa Befierce (6th)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/melissatitansminipromo.png

From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, He/Him
Original Appearance: Season 1 (runner-up)

  • Catharsis Factor: He looked forward to beating Astrud up during the Wrestling challenge. Astrud hoped the challenge would bring them closer together. It didn't.
  • Cope by Creating: Episode 3 brings the reveal that his husband left him no more than a week before the season began filming, and while he's struggling greatly with the breakup, he's using the competition as a way of distracting himself and channeling his intense emotions into his creative expression through drag.
  • Decapitation Presentation: Her promo look is a high-glam femme version of Jesus Christ, in homage to her iconic Finale Filth Floor Show of a castrated nun, and during her "Meet the Monsters" segment, she brandishes the severed head of that very nun.
  • Garden Garment: His "Wicked Witch" look reveals from a shiny green overcoat to a bodysuit and shoes covered entirely in bright, colorful flowers.
  • Green Thumb: The character she embodies in the "Wicked Witch" challenge is implied to have some sort of dominion over nature, with her costume being heavily adorned in flowers, leaves, and other nature-inspired elements.
  • Heroic BSoD: When Melissa ends up for elimination, she calls out the other ghouls for being two-faced and causing most of the drama this season, as well as most of them not taking accountability for their actions. She eventually snaps, leaves the cauldron and bursts into tears, needing to be calmed down by production. As a result, she decides to leave the competition.
  • Rule 63: His "Sci-Fi Horror" look is a yassified version of the Yautja from Predator, still recognizable as a grotesque alien but covered in pounds of rhinestones, makeup, and other such hyper-feminine accoutrements.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Up for elimination, Melissa breaks and calls out her remaining cast for the drama this season. With no one taking accountability, she storms out of the Cauldron and ultimately chooses to go home.

Astrud Aurelia (4th/5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/astrudtitansminipromo.png
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 4 (10th)

  • Always Someone Better: Despite placing high multiple times, Astrud failed to win a single challenge, losing out to Victoria (twice), Melissa, and Evah respectively.
  • Can't Catch Up: Astrud is talented, but by the time of the semi-final she is the only contender without a win. Knowing a double elimination is on the line, she dithers but ultimately accepts her elimination.
  • Character Filibuster: In Episode 3's cauldron, despite placing high, Astrud goes on a rambling tangent about how she feels unrecognized by the judges that leaves the other ghouls visibly annoyed. Her self-importance and over-elaboration are underscored ironically by the "Star-Spangled Banner" playing in the background as though she's giving some sort of powerful speech.
  • Crippling Overspecialization: Astrud is an imaginative scaly who shows off a range of looks, but her performances onstage are all the same. It sends her home.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: Their "Sci-Fi Horror" look incorporates eyeballs of a variety of colors and sizes distributed all over their body to further the Cosmic Horror of their character.
  • Jealous Romantic Witness: Whenever HoSo, the object of Astrud's attraction, and Abhora are shown expressing affection for one another, expect a quick cut to Astrud looking at them with a disturbed expression. Astrud is also quick to pick fights whenever anyone attempts to cheer Abhora up from his depressive moods, especially HoSo.
    • Never My Fault: Despite this, Astrud refuses any involvement in the drama with HoSo and Abhora, claiming that she's been dragged into it against her will and unfairly blamed by her competitors for causing tension. Her reasoning for never trying to hash things out with Abhora is simply that there's nothing going on between them.
  • Lizard Folk: Her drag persona has evolved from an edgy punk human woman to some kind of humanoid lizard, and even when her looks aren't explicitly reptilian, she uses angular makeup and yellow contact lenses to give herself a lizard-like appearance.
  • Proud to Be a Geek: She's a very big fan of Dungeons and Dragons, so when the challenge comes up, Astrud is more than happen to explain everything to possibly know about the game to the rest of the cast.

Evah Destruction (4th/5th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/evahtitansminipromo.png
From: Austin, TX
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them
Original Appearance': Season 3 (5th)

  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Evah is a strong actor, but the Boulets realize that if she doesn’t have an interest in the challenge prompt, she’s bound to under-perform. Her inconsistent record sends her home just before the finale.
  • Genuine Human Hide: Her character for the "Wicked Witch" performance is a witch who harvests human body parts for her own nefarious means, and her customized shoes, which deliberately resemble severed flesh layered over rhinestoned viscera, reflect this.
  • Hot as Hell: Their "Halloween House Party" look is a genderfuck devil who, upon removal of their Conspicuous Trenchcoat, is clothed in nothing but sexy black lingerie. They accompany the sexy look with an equally raunchy performance.
  • Living Emotional Crutch: Abhora becomes increasingly mopey and downtrodden as Astrud and HoSo get closer, to the point where he struggles to even motivate himself to continue in the competition. Evah — as Abhora's drag mother — is repeatedly shown perking him up and reassuring him whenever he's down and seems to see it as her responsibility to constantly rescue Abhora from the depths of despair even when it distracts her from the competition since no one else will.
  • Robot Maid: Their "Sci-Fi Horror" look is a cutesy blonde Robot Girl in a maid outfit who, judging by the blood-splatters on her apron, seems to have somehow become a Murderous Malfunctioning Machine.
  • Sinister Schnoz: Her "Wicked Witch" look is a murderous, menacing witch with a very large and prominent hooked nose.

HoSo Terra Toma (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hosotitansminipromo.png
From: Seoul, SK
Pronouns: She/Her and They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 4 (runner-up)

  • Cannot Spit It Out: While she thinks she's made it clear they're Just Friends, she's accused by other competitors of leading Abhora on because she won't just tell him she has no interest in him, and (platonically) love bombs him whenever he's visibly depressed by or jealous of her affection for Astrud. When the first challenge calls for a vote, HoSo passionately argues against eliminating Abhora because of their relationship. When Abhora is eliminated for the second time — in part because their competitors were sick of the love triangle — HoSo claims in confessional that she wishes she had a chance to resolve it first... after 5 episodes of this dynamic going in circles with no sign of letting up.
  • Cat Folk: Her "Wicked Witch" character is a cat-human hybrid witch with furry feline features on a humanoid figure who seemingly uses her magic to hunt mice.
  • Cyborg: Their "Sci-Fi Horror" look is an homage to Calne Ca as seen in "Bacterial Contamination" made of equal parts human flesh, robotic appendages, and HoSo's signature tumor-esque alien growths.

Koco Caine (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kocotitansminipromo.png
From: Phoenix, AZ
Pronouns: They/Them
Original Appearance: Season 4 (9th)

  • Achievements in Ignorance: Knew nothing about D&D and yet won the D&D challenge hands down.
  • Arm Cannon: They incorporate a massive detachable cannon into their Sexbot look for the "Sci-Fi Horror" challenge that they fondle and hump during their racy Floor Show.
  • Femme Fatalons: Their nails were so long that they couldn't use the fountain pen to vote (mind you, Koco was already having to maneuver their massive breastplate to get close enough to the table) so, in a very hilarious and clever moment, Koco nixes the pen and dips their nails in ink to write. It goes about as well as you think it would.
  • Hooker with a Heart of Gold: When Melissa is having her breakdown and is considering leaving the competition, Koco still gets up and leaves the Cauldron to go give her comfort and support.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Fittingly for a horror-drag artist who often embodies vampy, menacing killers, they sport bright red contact lenses in their confessional look.
  • Removing the Rival: Mentions to other contestants during the D&D challenge that pieces of her look turned up missing before the floor show. By the time of the Wrestling challenge, she brings up during judging that she suspects someone of trying to sabotage her, as many of her pieces have disappeared or been found damaged. However, several competitors note that she doesn't take care of her equipment either, with her even spilling her drink all over her breastplate in the same episode.
  • Sexbot: Their "Sci-Fi Horror" look combines their hyper-femme buxom aesthetic with skimpy silver garments meant to evoke "the future of sex work" via a sexy android.
  • Sexy Whatever Outfit: Their "Halloween House Party" look is a trashy partygoer dressed as a sexy mummy whose bandages do very little to cover up their curvaceous figure.
  • Shout-Out: Their "Wicked Witch" look incorporates white alligator-textured leather in homage to the lyric in Beyoncé's "Formation" about "albino alligators".

Victoria Elizabeth Black (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/victoriatitansminipromo.png
From: Orlando, FL
Pronouns: She/Her
Original Appearances: Season 2 (runner-up), Resurrection (3rd)

  • The Ace: Victoria's developed quite the reputation as a Dragula powerhouse since her season, to the point where multiple other Titans cite her as the one person they didn't want to compete against and Melissa even jokingly threatens to quit the competition upon seeing her walk in.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Her "Sci-Fi Horror" look is an alien parasite that has taken over a human woman's body, causing her to gain an arm, sprout massive teeth everywhere, grow a huge mouth on her torso, and have all her flesh either die or come to resemble raw muscle.
  • Call-Back: Victoria fell short of a Sci-Fi Horror win on her first season for not going draggy enough, with the Boulets saying she should have at least stuck some lashes on her alien. This time on the Sci-Fi challenge Victoria has two full sets of lushious lashes on and makes sure the camera sees them.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Subverted on two counts, as Victoria isn't part of the Love Triangle in question or initially even interested in approaching it. However, when she's given the choice of who to put in the bottom after winning the Zombie Prom challenge, she chooses competitors with some of the harshest critiques for the week — Abhora and Astrud. She admits that being able to curb the tension in the boudoir is a satisfying perk of her decision.
  • Parasite Zombie: Her "Sci-Fi Horror" look is an homage to The Thing (1982) depicting a grotesque, toothy creature that takes over a human woman's body, rendering any remaining human parts grey and lifeless in the process.
  • Pumpkin Person: Her "Halloween House Party" look is a pumpkin-headed creature whose wig can be removed to reveal pumpkin guts and seeds inside of her head.
  • Worthy Opponent: From the very moment she steps into the boudoir, all of the other Titans both respect and fear Victoria, seeing her as their biggest competition.

    Season 5

Onyx Ondyx (11th)

From: Philadelphia, PA
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Ass Shove: To flout her Filth credentials, her "Meet Our Monsters" segment involves her talking about her history of "shoving things into holes"... including a lit firework.
    • In the end, she views the fact that she held back and didn't do more of this as part of the reason why she was up for extermination in the second Floor Show, especially given the Boulet Brothers' comments about not seeing Onyx's brand consistently included.
  • Parasitic Horror: Her "Terror in the Woods" look is an old dame in a dress with tall, sculpted shoulders... one of which comes off to reveal a parasitic growth. Her backstory involves being banished to a rotting house in the woods after developing this parasite, but the Boulets take points off for how little that seemed to translate on the stage.
  • Punny Name: When meeting the other ghouls, she has her name can be taken as "on ecstasy, on a penis."

Satanna (10th)

From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

  • Establishing Character Moment: Not five minutes into everyone gathered around the fire after making it through the woods for their first Fright Feat, she says, "Let's cut the shit. Who's going home first?"
  • Fairy Sexy: Her "Terror in the Woods" look gets read for being more of this and less "scary fairy." It ends up putting her in the bottom two.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Almost pulls this after being told she's up for extermination in the Ghosts of the Gatehouse floor show.

Jarvis Hammer (9th)

From: Atlanta, GA
Pronouns: He/Him (in drag)

  • Distaff Counterpart: One of two AFAB drag kings competing this season.
  • Graceful Loser: At the conclusion of the first Monsters of Rock challenge, Jarvis is eliminated in a shocking sudden death lip sync challenge. Being the first contestant ever to have their death announced with the Boulets and the rest of the contestants present, he takes the opportunity to pay his respects to the Boulets, say goodbye to the other contestants and caps it off with a sincerely affectionate See You in Hell. The speech receives applauses from the cast. In their podcast, the Boulets also express approval for Jarvis' conduct.
  • New England Puritan: His "Terror in the Woods" look is a murderous ghostly Puritan resurrected by a rising tide of modern Puritanism. On Instagram, he gave the character a backstory that involved being accidentally raised by, and inevitably repelled by, a young lesbian couple.
  • Shout-Out Theme Naming: The name is an homage to both Jarvis Cocker, lead singer of Pulp, and Hammer Horror flicks.
  • Silly Spook: Jarvis is described as the ghost of a Seventies lothario "possessing the body of an infuriatingly tiny woman."

Anna Phylactic (8th)

From: Manchester, UK
Pronouns: He/Him, She/Her, They/Them

  • Bee Afraid: In keeping with the pun of her name, her Meet Our Monsters look has a heavy bee motif.
  • Punny Name: A take on "anaphylactic shock," which she says she adopted because she wants to leave everyone breathless.
  • The Quiet One: Her perception as this by the rest of the ghouls eventually leads to a minor blowup about how she's not less serious as a competitor just because her personality isn't on 24/7.

Jay Kay (7th)

From: Brooklyn, NY
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Back from the Dead: They were originally the first one out, but returned the next episode. Subverted in which they lasted a few more episodes before being eliminated again.
  • Rule of Drama: The Boulets admit they had to go find if Jay Kay had submitted an audition tape after seeing La Zavaleta, of all people, call them "the most annoying person in Brooklyn" on Instagram.
  • Sad Clown: After weeks of getting it from the other ghouls, he finally tells Cynthia that he uses humor and shade to try to keep some distance so that others don't see the parts of himself he hates.
  • Self-Abuse: Their "Trash Can Children" look is a serial masturbator, complete with a gigantic right arm and a lot of... byproduct.
  • Scout-Out: Their "Terror in the Woods" look is a Girl Scout who had a really bad accident with Smores.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Gets this reputation among the ghouls, much to their own confusion and consternation.

Cynthia Doll (6th)

From: Kansas City, MO
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Dude, Not Funny!: Doesn't get the full force of this, but does get critiqued in the "Trash Can Children" floor show for ending up somewhere in a comedic middle ground with her meth addict look - not pushing far enough into Crosses the Line Twice, leaving it somewhere uncomfortably close to making fun of a real problem in the queer community.
  • Mushroom Man: Her "Terror in the Woods" look is a giant mushroom person akin to Matango.
  • Shout-Out: Her name is an homage to the doll Angelica always carried around on Rugrats.
  • Wring Every Last Drop out of Him: On their podcast, the Boulets reveal they worried that Cynthia was having a breakdown during the first Fright Feat, which involved walking through the woods at night, getting attacked by masked men with tasers, and having a bucket of blood hurled on her. Then, they realized she was doing an overly dramatic death scene, complete with lifting her head back up to check before putting it back down, before getting up and continuing the challenge.

Fantasia Royale Gaga (5th)

From: Miami, FL
Pronouns: She/Her

  • Big-Breast Pride: Fantasia takes pride in her bosom. At the start of the first Fright Feat, she even looks down at her breasts and asks, "Are you ready, girls?"
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Was a fugitive on a bad warrant and eventually had to go to jail. As a black trans woman, her incarceration was rough.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: While her name never made it on air, Fantasia is enough of a veteran of the drag scene that the Boulet Brothers have made reference to her multiple times during the competition, including asking Coco Kaine if her breastplate during the Titans wrestling challenge was an homage to Fantasia.
  • Shout-Out Theme Naming: In addition to taking her last name from Lady Gaga, her first name is an homage to Fantasia Barrino, Season 3 winner of American Idol.
  • The Oldest Profession: Fantasia also speaks on her past experience as a sex worker, which is why she throws herself into the "Pleasure Planet X" challenge.

Blackberri (runner-up)

From: Houston, TX
Pronouns: She/Her, He/Him

  • Final Girl: Her "Terror in the Woods" look is meant to be the final girl of a slasher flick who made it out of the woods, still tangled in her sleeping bag and run through with skewers (that still have marshmellows on them).
  • Girls with Moustaches: Another bearded queen, Blackberri proudly rocks her facial hair.
  • Sexbot: Her "Pleasure Planet X" look is a voluptuous sex droid with Dalek blaster titties.

Orkgotik (runner-up)

From: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Pronouns: Any

  • Food Slap: Deliberately spills their drink on Jay Kay in the Cauldron while all the ghouls are making a toast, right after the two have gotten in a fight over Ork's Floor Show look. It doesn't improve matters between the two.
  • Nature Is Not Nice: Their "Terror in the Woods" look is a park ranger who's been taken over by a parasite, with giant centipede-like arms. In an Instagram story, Orkgotik twists the script by talking about how there's not really a similar figure to a park ranger in their part of South America; the closest equivalent, in their eyes, is somebody trying to impose violence upon nature.
  • Punny Name: Their name is short for "Orca Gotica," or "Gothic killer whale" in Spanish, which explains the recurring black-and-white motif.
  • Reality Show Genre Blindness: Defied. They're read by Mike Flanagan for taking a big risk by wearing a mask and club kid boots on the Dragula stage... but the rest of the look is so good, it manages to work.

Throb Zombie (runner-up)

From: Boston, MA
Pronouns: They/Them

  • Auto Cannibalism: As part of the "Terror in the Woods" runway, Throb's redneck cannibal puts a sausage through their fly, clearing representing a dick... then rips it out, bites off one half, and lights the other half like a cigar.
    • And again with their "Trash Can Children" look, an old-school ice cream vendor who is selling... big bloody scoops of their own viscera. And they can't help but take a lick.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The other AFAB drag king competitor for the season.
  • Hillbilly Horrors: Their "Terror in the Woods" look is a redneck cannibal with a bloody hook hand and a sack full of body parts.
  • Macho Camp: Proudly gives Niohuru X lessons in the more ridiculous aspects of masculinity, which help her to win the "Ultraviolet Ultras" floor show.
  • Shout-Out Theme Naming: Meant to be Rob Zombie "with a little extra thrust."

Niohuru X (winner)

From: Los Angeles, CA
Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them

  • Asian Fox Spirit: Her "Terror in the Woods" look is a hulijing that walks in with a suitor's severed head on an umbrella and a hand fan made out of a face. It wins her the top spot for the week.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: Her "Drag Kaiju" look has a massive, articulated tail that is instantly compared against Fantasia's snake look from the previous challenge. However, issue with articulation means that she can't move on stage, having to be carried over by crew members for the "demolish the city" part of the floor show. She then has to be wheelbarrowed in by Throb for the judges' critiques.
  • Seductive Spider: Done in maybe the most horrifying way in the "Trash Can Children" challenge, complete with visible vagina. On her groin. And pregnant belly. And face.
  • Weak, but Skilled: By her own admission, Niohuru does not have much experience in performing on stage or doing lip syncs. However, through preparation and drive, she still aced the challenges involving these skills. During the judgement segment of Episode 3, she reveals that she has done live lip sync only three or four times before, leaving the Boulets impressed at how well she performed in the challenge.
