- In Memoriam: Done in the credits of the series premiere and eulogizing former Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, who died in October 11, 2021.
- Ink-Suit Actor: Alex looks a lot like a cartoonified Jon Jon Briones. Averted in Expedition.* Late Export for You: The series was not exported to Japan until October 1, 2023... almost an entire YEAR after the show debuted in North America and well after the first season concluded.
- Playing Against Type:
- Alan Tudyk is well known for playing comedic or villainous roles, plus the occasional animal sidekick... and he ends up cast as OPTIMUS PRIME of all characters.

- Role Reprise:

- In the Italian dub, Alberto Angrisano, Antonella Baldini and Dario Oppido reprise their respective roles as Optimus Prime, Elita-1, and Megatron from Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
- The Latin American dub sees Gerardo Vásquez return as Megatron as he has done numerous times in the past. Víctor Hugo Aguilar also returns to voice Optimus after portraying him in the War for Cybertron trilogy, and Alfredo Gabriel Basurto voices Bumblebee again as he did in RID2015.
- The Hungarian dub is a mix of voice talents of the live action films and various cartoons. Imre Szélyes has played Optimus Prime in all but Transformers (2007), Prime, Robots in Disguise (2015) and Cyberverse. Megatron's Ferenc Borbiczki played the role in all but the fourth live action film, Prime and RID 2015. Bumblebee's Péter Szokol returns from Prime, RID 2015 and Cyberverse. Soundwave brought back his live action film series voice, András Faragó.
- The Japanese dub once again brings back Tesshō Genda as Optimus Prime and Shigeru Chiba as Megatron. Ryōhei Kimura is also brought back as Bumblebee from Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Bumblebee, and Transformers: Cyberverse, along with Ryōka Yuzuki as Elita-1 from Transformers: Animated, Fairouz Ai as Arcee from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Yoji Ueda as Wheeljack from Transformers: Cyberverse, and Setsuji Saito as Starscream from the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
- Short Run in Peru: The first four episodes of Season 1's second half were released on an Indian streaming service two weeks prior to their release on Paramount+
- Spoiled by the Merchandise:
- Grimlock and Shockwave appearing in the show was spoiled by art on the back of the first wave for Deluxe Class toys. Though Grimlock had already appeared in the Retraux flashback.
- Jawbreaker's eventual alt mode of a dinosaur was spoiled by his warrior class toy.

- What Could Have Been:
- Deleted scenes for "Warzone" would've revealed that Starscream was the one who freed Shockwave from cryostasis through having Ravage steal him a remote to deactivate the pod with, following up on the ending of episode 8 in the process. They were cut for time purposes.
- The storyboards for the season 1 finale show that it was originally Tarantulas who joined in on Swindle and Hardtop's Dynamic Entry. He was swapped out for Soundwave in the final product.
- Mae Catt indicated at TFNation 2023 that Nova Storm was originally meant to be Thundercracker, but a higher-up vetoed making the character female. It's clear little was changed beyond the name and color scheme, since Nova Storm has Thundercracker's traditional partnership with Skywarp and sonic boom powers.
