  • In the Action League NOW! episode, "Big Baby'', a cranky Big Baby has climbed to the top of a coat rack with Quarky in his hand, and in order to calm him down and save Quarky, the League must change his diaper.
  • Happens in an episode of American Dad! when Steve and his friends go to see a horror film that (according to its viewers) is so scary that people who are watching it must wear diapers due to the constant accidental urination that happen during its viewing.
  • Arthur:
    • Happens from time to time with Kate, since she is the title character's baby sister. note  Arthur and D.W. have normally managed to avoid it, but manage to deal with it in "Is There a Doctor In the House?" when they resolve to help out their parents, who are sick with a cold. "Staycation" comes after this episode, so they'd dealt with it before.
    • Binky's adopted baby sister, Mei Lin also gets a diaper change in "Big Brother Binky", the episode that introduces her character.
    • In the tie-in book Arthur's Reading Trick, the person who teaches Kate the least amount of new words has to be stuck with the task of changing Kate's diaper. In the end, Arthur uses a trick to get Kate to say the word "diaper", causing D.W. to lose the bet.
  • Blue's Clues: In "The Baby's Here", Steve says there's going to be a lot of change now that Cinnamon is born, including his diaper, which Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper are seen changing.
  • Bluey: In "Baby Race", Bandit is seen changing the diaper of his then-baby daughter Bluey. Being a new father at the time, the smell makes him gag.
  • Bobby's World: In "Bobby's Last Stand", Bobby is trying to earn some money to buy the X-15 Super Saturating Soaker hose. At one point in the episode, Martha is about to change the diapers of Jake and Al, when she is interrupted by a phone call. Bobby decides to change the babies' diapers for Martha in the hopes of earning at least some money from it, and does so by putting them on each other's bottoms.
  • Codename: Kids Next Door has one in its first season with a villainous baby, Mr. B. After going into a short tantrum about being called a baby by the KND, he accidentally wets himself and has his client and mother proceed to changing him in front of the KND as they introduce themselves.
  • An episode of Cow and Chicken features the titular characters trying out for their School's Sumo-Wrestling Course. The way in which the students are put in mawashis are treated like a diaper change.
  • Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: In "Daniel Sits on the Potty", Daniel and Miss Elaina accidentally walk in on Mrs. Tiger changing Margaret (Daniel's baby sister), much to their disgust. Miss Elaina doesn't even understand that babies wear diapers and has to have it explained to her.
  • Dexter's Laboratory has one scene of this when Dexter and Dee Dee accidentally transform every adult into babies. Dee Dee has to change her dad's diaper, which she had no problem in doing.
  • The Donald Duck short "Modern Inventions" has a scene where Donald decides to mess with a futuristic robot nurse maid styled like a baby carriage. Donald eventually get more than he bargains for when the robot puts him in a diaper, which Donald laughs off.
  • In the Ed, Edd n Eddy episode, "Hand Me Down Ed", a boomerang has strange personality effects on the show's characters. Its effect on Eddy makes him motherly and causes him to think that a suitcase used for their scam is his infant son, named "Casey Jr.". As he changes Casey's diaper, he inadvertently makes Ed dispose of the scam they were going to pull.
  • In the short "Every Dog's Guide to Complete Home Safety" which follows a safety obsessed dog who has been adopted by an accident prone family, features a scene of the dog getting diapered when he tries to stop the baby from crawling away.
  • In the Ewoks episode "Rampage of the Phlogs", at one point the Duloks have to change Nahkee's diaper. Gorneesh asks for volunteers, but all the other Duloks immediately leave, forcing him to perform it himself.
  • Happens from time-to-time in Family Guy, which comes as no surprise since Stewie is a baby and Joe is a paraplegic. One of Peter's attempts at changing Stewie's diaper is so epically bad that it traumatizes Stewie, as Peter apparently put the diaper inside Stewie. What horrifies Stewie even more that in order to get rid of it, he'll have to poop a diaper into a diaper, stating that it is this kind of logical paradox that gets you sent into another dimension.
  • The Fairly OddParents!:
    • It started utilizing scenes of this nature once Poof made his debut. Additionally to up the level of his stupidity, Cosmo began wearing diapers as well.
    • Before the series' change, one episode featured the Crimson Chin taking care of his girlfriend's baby niece that feature many jokes relating to this trope.
  • Fantastic Max has a few of these scenes throughout the series due to the titular character being a baby himself.
  • One episode of the new Gerald McBoing-Boing series feature Gerald messing with a mother and her kid by imitating the sound of a crying baby. Gerald's joke however give him more than he bargains for when the mother starts treating him like a baby, complete with diapering him as well.
  • An episode of Grossology features this in one of its episodes. However being the kind of show it is, it's NOT pretty to say the least...
  • In "The Puppy Badge" from Hey Duggee, Duggee's nephew Duggly is visiting and soils his nappy early in the episode. Fortunately, Duggee has his puppy badge and is able to take care of it.
  • The Horrid Henry episode, "Horrid Henry Changes a Nappy" revolves around the title character being forced to change his infant cousin, Vomiting Vera's nappy when she comes over for an unexpected visit. Henry has never changed a nappy before, so he gets help on how to do so from Moody Margaret and Sour Susan, the latter of whom is experienced at it thanks to her baby sister. Since Henry doesn't dispose of the dirty nappy and leaves it within Vera's reach, the outcome is not pretty.
  • Parodied on an episode of Kaeloo, where Stumpy is practicing babysitting. He asks Quack Quack if he can change his diaper, and in the end he winds up putting it on Quack Quack's head.
  • HBO's The Little Lulu Show features an episode where Lulu has to change Annie's baby brother's diaper (which she says she does on a daily basis.) She later uses them to get back at Wilbur, Tubby, and the boys for pranking her.
  • The Looney Tunes short, "A Mouse Divided" has a scene where Sylvester changes the diaper of a baby mouse that a drunken Delivery Stork delivered to him and his wife. Because Sylvester tries to eat the baby mouse at first, he pins a leaf of lettuce on the baby mouse before putting him in a sandwich.
  • The Loud House:
    • At one point in the episode, "Two Boys and a Baby", Lincoln and Clyde have to change Lily's diaper. They use Lisa's radioactive contamination glove box to protect themselves from Lily's dirty diaper as they change her, and Lincoln is left to dispose of the dirty diaper with a fishing pole. Unfortunately, Lily's dirty diaper accidentally hits the ceiling fan and makes a mess of Lily and Lisa's room (which, thankfully, isn't shown to the viewers).
    • In "The Green House", Lincoln changes Lily's diaper and tosses the used one to Lisa so that she can use it to convert to electricity.
    • In "No End in Bite", Lynn changes Lily's diaper but uses a page from Lucy's book since they're out of diapers.
    • In "Any Given Sundae", Lily invokes this by deliberately soiling her diaper so that Lynn Sr. will pull over to change her and she can get ice cream from the gas station.
    • In "The Crying Dame", Lily's siblings steal her annoying toy during a diaper change.
    • In the parody of "The Twelve Days of Christmas", Lynn Sr. sings, "Eleven smelly diapers" while changing Lily.
  • Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has an entire episode of Goofy transforming into a baby and having the cast take care of him. The first thing they do is put him in a diaper.
  • Happens in the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic episode "Baby Cakes". When Carrot Cake does it, he does it with a father's experience, but Pinkie Pie's ends with her wearing both diapers, which nopony else wears for a short time. For extra disgust, since the characters are ponies and don't have hands, they must change the diapers with their mouths.
  • The New Woody Woodpecker Show episode, "Baby Buzzard" has a scene where Woody has to change a poorly disguised Buzz Buzzard. Since Woody forgot to buy clean diapers before starting his babysitting service, he resorts to using a piece of wallpaper as a diaper, then the parlor room curtains when the former doesn't work.
  • Happens twice with Baby Pac-Man in the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures episode, "Pac to the Future". The first time is when his mother changes him. The second is when the present-day Pac-Man has to look after him. Squicky humor ensues when Pac-Man saves his baby self from Lord Betrayus by tossing the dirty diaper at him.
  • At one point on PB&J Otter, when the Otter family is babysitting another family's baby triplets, Mrs. Otter excuses herself saying that she has to "change a poopy diaper."
  • The Penguins of Madagascar is a no-brainer when the group must change a baby's diaper which gives out humorous results.
  • In the Pinky and the Brain episode, "Two Mice and a Baby", the two titular lab mice look after a superpowered orphan baby, and at one point, they must change his diaper. They wear anti-germ suits because the baby is larger in size compared to them, and when they try using a safety pin to hold the diaper together, it gets badly bent.
  • When The Powerpuff Girls find and raise a baby in one episode, one of the things they must do when taking care of it is change its diaper. They do so, in true PPG style.
  • In The Real Ghostbusters episode "Three Men and an Egon", Egon gets hit with one of the proton packs while trying to catch a ghost. He ends up regressing younger and younger until he’s a small baby. During a discussion on how to prevent him from fading from existence, Peter and Slimer sniff in disgust and notice baby Egon needs a diaper change. Peter, Ray, Winston, and Slimer proceed to change Egon’s diaper together. This leads to the diaper being wrapped around Egon and Peter claims that "it’s perfect for a mummy".
  • When Ren & Stimpy trade places with twin babies, the kids' mother checks their diapers and praises Stimpy for "making poopies".
  • The Rolie Polie Olie film, "The Baby Bot Chase", features two alien babies that come from a Nursery in Space. The movie is filled with humor of this nature, from the parents changing the babies to even showing off a diapering robot on said nursery.
  • Rugrats (1991):
    • The first episode of the series opens up with this, with Didi changing Tommy's diaper right before his birthday party.
    • One of the earlier episodes features Didi bringing Tommy in for the class she is substitute teaching. A scene occurs where she has a student change Tommy's diaper as a parenting example but nobody is willing until the cool guy with sunglasses (a parody of The Fonz) does so. Turns out he has a baby brother at home and is quite used to it.
    • In the episode, "Baby Maybe", the babies fall for one of Angelica's tricks and intentionally misbehave to avoid being adopted by Tommy's Aunt Elaine and Uncle Ben. Elaine tries to cheer them up by moving the scheduled diaper change up from 12:45 to 11:30. During the diaper change, Tommy, Phil, and Lil try to run away. When Elaine catches Phil, she tosses his used diaper aside, which lands on the face of Ben, who assists her with the powder.
    • Dil gets his diaper changed in the episodes, "Dil Saver", "Dil We Meet Again", and "Hold the Pickles".
    • In a special episode about autumn time, Phil and Lil are seen being diapered by their mother. What she puts them in are ultra-sized diapers, which prevents them from even being able to stand up due to how huge they are. They turn back to normal before the episode's end.
  • Happens occasionally with Maggie in The Simpsons.
  • The Smurfs' refusal to change Baby Smurf's diaper is what kicks off the plot of The Smurfs (2021) episode "Diaper Daddy", when Handy creates the robot nanny Smurf for doing the task.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog:
    • In the Sonic Underground episode, "Three Hedgehogs and a Baby", Sonic gives an extremely fast diaper change to a baby hedgehog that is really a robot built by Dr. Robotnik as part of his plan to destroy Sanctuary. Later in the episode, while it isn't seen, Manic mentions to the baby that he gave him a diaper change as well.
    • In the Sonic Boom episode, "Three Men and My Baby!", Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles accidentally injure Lady Walrus, and volunteer to babysit her infant son, Chumley, until she's healed. When it comes time to change Chumley's diaper, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles try to talk Amy into doing it for them, but she outright refuses, and insists they do it themselves. They all do so themselves, dressed in space suits. Unfortunately, not long after they change Chumley's diaper, they have to change it again.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants:
    • "Rock-A-Bye Bivalve" has Spongebob and Patrick raising a Baby Scallop together. Early in it, it is revealed that Patrick noticed it needed and promptly put the scallop in a diaper. How'd he know? Because he wears diapers himself. Apparently...
    • Also in "Squid Baby", Squidward suffers a concussion and acts like a baby, when Spongebob takes him to work, it grosses out the customers when he needs to be changed.
    • In "Biddy Sitting", SpongeBob and Patrick start their own babysitting service. When they look after infant sextuplets, they change their diapers at one point.
  • On Strawberry Shortcake, when Baby Ginger Snap needs hers changed in "Baby Takes the Cake" in Apple Dumplin's Imagine Spot in which she's a grown-up, Apple first tells her to do it, then realizing it's not going to happen, does it herself.
    Apple: Please, Baby Ginger Snap, don't ever do that again.
  • The Teen Titans Go! episode "How 'Bout Some Effort" features a scene where Starfire, Raven, and Jinx take care of Gizmo, who is embarrassingly clad in nothing but a diaper. At one point, the three girls have no trouble in changing Gizmo's diaper, even cooing and fawning over him while do so, much to Gizmo's rage.
  • In the Time Squad episode focusing on Billy the Kid, the titular character himself acts like a baby, dressed in a diaper and decked out with all the toys a baby would play with. The trope is averted though as while the team helps him return to his roots as an outlaw, Tuddrussel often orders Larry 3000 (who fawns over the mentally infantile Billy as a Doting Parent) to change his diaper on a few occasions... offscreen.
  • The short, "No Deposit, No Return of the Trash Bag Dispenser" from the Tiny Toon Adventures episode, "Pollution Solution" has a scene where Elmyra diapers Plucky when he tries to tell her that she is polluting his swamp with recyclable garbage.
  • Tom and Jerry:
    • In the episode "Baby Puss", the other cats change Tom (who is being treated like a baby by his owner), but act in the manner of surgeons.
    • The duology episodes "Busy Buddies" and "Tot Watchers" both feature Tom diapering a baby.
  • The Toopy and Binoo episode entitled "Diaper Dream" revolves around Binoo being annoyed by a baby "monster" in his sleep. After trying fruitlessly to try and cheer it up, it's revealed at the episode's end that all the baby needed was this. After the baby is changed by its mother, Toopy is diapered too for comedic effect.
  • Early in Winston's Potty Chair, Winston's mom changes his diaper after Winston wakes up from a dream he has where he gets splashed by a wave at the beach. It is at this point that Winston asks his mom if he will always have to wear diapers. His mom assures him that when he's a big boy, he'll use the toilet just like his parents and his older brother, Tony.
