Apple Arcade is a subscription gaming service launched by Apple on September 19, 2019. The service encompasses all of Apple's platforms via iCloud - games are compatible across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and visionOS. Subscribers can share access with up to five others through family sharing. Apple Arcade can also be accessed via the Apple One bundle. The service also supports controller compatibility with the DualShock 4, DualSense and Xbox Wireless controllers, as well as Joy-Cons.
Games on the service are free of advertisements, in-app purchases, always-on DRM and data tracking and can be played offline. A majority of the titles are original releases, but various old games have also been released, denoted by "+" at the end of their titles. Developers cannot release their Apple Arcade games on other mobile platforms such as Android due to exclusivity agreements, note but can still offer their games on console or PC.
