Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a Life Simulation Game based on the Hello Kitty franchise developed by SUNBLINK in collaboration with Sanrio, and is available exclusively on Apple Arcade.

This game contains examples of:
- Antifrustration Feature: If the player gets stuck in a spot they can't easily get out of while exploring, the game will automatically teleport them out of it.
- Ascended Meme: The title stems from a famous joke in the South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft", where Butters says that the then-nonexistent game was the only one his parents allowed him to play.
- Character Customization: The player can choose to be a canine, a feline, or a bird during the Character Creation screen, with different options for fur patterns, noses, and beaks depending on what they choose. This can be changed at any time in Tuxedo Sam or My Melody's shops.
- Character Title: Being a Sanrio property, Hello Kitty's name is featured in the title.
- Cooking Mechanics: The player can use the kitchen set in Hello Kitty's shop to make a variety of dishes that can be eaten by the player or given away as gifts to other characters to increase their friendship levels.
- Deserted Island: The player and Sanrio characters venture to one in hopes of restoring it to it's former glory. It turns out it isn't completely deserted, however, as the characters discover that the Nul populate the islands and befriend them.
- Fetch Quest: The Sanrio characters give the player quests that require them to retrieve and bring them items for various reasons, such as Badtz-Maru asking the player to gather materials to craft a water balloon for him so that he can start a prank war with My Melody.
- Fitness Nut: Pochacco talks a lot about fitness and can be seen at the center of the resort doing stretches at all hours of the day unless interacted with.
- Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: While the Sanrio villagers appear fully clothed, the player can choose not to wear pants.
- It's Up to You: Downplayed Trope. While the player is tasked with almost everything, such as retrieving and crafting items for the characters, decorating, and so on, the player can set characters as their companion once they reach Friendship Level 2, and these characters will assist them in performing various tasks, but it will still be up to the player to complete it.
- No Hugging, No Kissing: Averted; Dear Daniel appears as a visitor in the game and is explicitly stated to be Hello Kitty's boyfriend. One of the conditions for attracting him to the island is that the player decorate a house near the resort so that he can be close to her.
- Sprint Meter: The player character can climb the sides of certain mountains, but their stamina bar depletes quickly, making longer climbs more difficult.
- Super Drowning Skills: While the player character cannot drown, they cannot even approach the water's edge without the game reminding them that they need flippers to swim. They have no problems swimming after completing the quest to obtain flippers, however.
- Warp Whistle: The player can activate and use various mailboxes located through the world to teleport to different areas, saving them the trouble of having to go there by foot.
