Is it just a personal decision that I'm ready or is there a specific number of well-written examples I need to make to qualify?

Hi fellas. It's me again. I wanted to ask you if you can give me again the link that directs me to the mods to ask them if I can regain editing rights again. There's an upcoming film I would really want to contribute to its main page here.

By the way, here's another try.

A Headscratcher for the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid film:

  • After Greg, Rowley and Manny escape from the three teenagers and roll down to Greg's lawn, Manny wakes up and tells Susan that Greg took him and Rowley to the Serpent Road just like she had forbidden him. How did Manny realize this? He was asleep when Greg and Rowley took that road as a shortcut.

@ Meet the Robinsons

    Mr. Willerstein and Coach
Voiced by: Tom Kenny and Don Hall
The faculty judges at Lewis's science fair.
  • Cool Teacher: Mr. Willerstein helps encourage Lewis to enter the contest in the first place and is happy for him when he succeeds.
  • Everybody Calls Him "Barkeep": Coach is a gym coach who's real name is never revealed
  • Eye-Obscuring Hat: Coach's baseball cap covers his eyes.
  • Gym Class Hell: Coach orders one boy who's invention he doesn't like to run twenty laps around the gym.
  • Misplaced Kindergarten Teacher: Coach isn't very qualified to be judging a science fair instead of teaching gym, something Willerstein lampshades.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: They give Lewis a second chance to show of his memory scanner after it initially malfunctions and plunges the fair into chaos.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Coach is stern, muscular, and irritable while Willerstein is polite, scrawny, and timid.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Willerstein is a bespectacled science teacher.
  • Smarter Than They Look: Coach looks and acts like a stern Dumb Jock, but does make a couple of intelligent observations and questions. He himself lampshades this after asking why Lewis wants to access his memories of a particular day.
Coach: You didn't think I was paying attention, did you?
@ Cheating Death: Those That Lived The quote feels like it should have another comma or do and be in a different tense, but it was written that way.
  • Felony Misdemeanor: President Orion, the "tubby tyrant," makes it a capital offense to call him fat.
  • You Remind Me of X: Sociopathic Hate Sink Bronze tells Augustus that he reminds Augustus of himself. Augustus's reaction is a sign of how much much Character Development "The Cavalier Career" has undergone since his victory.
Only a few years ago Augustus would have beamed in pride to hear such a thing from Bronze. But not anymore. Suddenly the idea of being like Bronze was legitimately terrifying.
@ Cheating Death: Those That Lived Ensemble Dark Horse
  • District 7's first two victors, Fir and Pliny, are both Doomed by Canon and don't even appear in every District 7-centered chapter, but both are extremely well-loved characters. Pliny's popularity comes from her humorous Heavy Sleeper traits, friendship with Duke from District 12, and Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing victory. Fir's Pungeon Master dialogue and interesting interactions with her Parental Substitute and Jack (who she mentors to victory) make her pretty popular.
  • District 5's first two victors, Shunt and Isobel, are both dead by the 40th Hunger Games but are both pretty highly-rated victors. Isobel's popularity comes from her unnamed combat skills, how she's the original leader of the Second Rebellion, and her attempt to assassinate Snow. Shunt (an aspiring fantasy author) charms a lot of people by being a Gadgeteer Genius with good night vision who imagines his games as a fantasy story where he's the main character as a coping mechanism and worries about whether he's the good guy.
  • District 4's last victor, Ron, only appears in two chapters, but might be their best-liked victor due to the tragic backstory behind his volunteering and the memorable scene where he uses an unpopular collaborator as a Human Shield.
  • Mercy's Friend to All Children personality and how she takes it into the arena with her make her a lot more popular than the average victor to only appear in two chapters (and in one, she only has a cameo appearance).
@ The Hunger Games

The story has a decent amount of Satire and Black Comedy, although it's just as likely to emphasize the gruesomeness and tragedy of the Hunger Games.

@ Mars Attacks!

  • General Decker blazes away at the Martians, Guns Akimbo style, even after being shrunk to the size of a mouse. He's unsuccessful, but it's still pretty cool.

@ Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

  • The two Bit Part Bad Guys in the opening scene who get into a drag race with some teenagers (and the teenagers themselves, for some) make the scene pretty entertaining for most fans, whether they like the movie as a whole or not.

Hotel Mario: Trivia

  • Fan Nickname: French Youtube Poop fans sometime refer to CD-i Bowser as "Boswor" because of how weirdly his name is pronounced in the game's French dub.

Madness Combat

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: The protagonists' "wanted" posters list crimes such as arson, murder or kidnapping, along with petty things such as public urination, smoking or being ugly.
  • Bizarre Alien Reproduction: The people in Madness Combat cannot reproduce biologically. The only way is via mass cloning machines, which brings the question on how they started existing in the first place.
  • Hypocritical Humor: The AAHW has "wanted" posters for the protagonists for various crimes, despite the AAHW itself being a criminal organisation.
  • Immediate Sequel:
    • Starting from the sixth episode, almost every episode starts right when the previous one ends. Aggregation is a little exception since it starts about a minute before the end of the previous episode, Inundation.
    • There isn't any time skip between any episode of the Deimos Adventure mini-series.
  • One-Gender Race: There is no women among Madness Combat characters. And while characters often use masculine pronoun (though singular "they" is sometime used), have masculine names and can have masculing attributes like beards, Word of God says that they don't really qualify as "men" either. They are their own things.

Animator VS Animation: character (Purple)

  • Staff of Authority: As a king, he wields a staff made of wood and stone to show his authority in the village he rules.

^ When you can repeatedly post examples and no English errors are found in them.

  • Personality Powers: Befitting a Manipulative Bastard who's spent centuries tricking people into horribly one-sided deals, Kenjaku's Innate Technique allows him to commit Grand Theft Me and take someone's powers, identity and memories for his own use.
    • He later consumes Mahito and gains the ability to to distort and manipulate the human body, reflecting his desire to "optimise" humanity.

^ This violates Example Indentation in Trope Lists because you can't have only one example at the second level of indentation (2 asterisks). The first example should be moved down to the second level along with the other one, like this:

  • Personality Powers: Kenjaku
    • Befitting a Manipulative Bastard who's spent centuries tricking people into horribly one-sided deals, his Innate Technique allows him to commit Grand Theft Me and take someone's powers, identity and memories for his own use.

@ Ghostbusters: Afterlife
  • Lucky and her friends invite Trevor to take a break from the grunt work at the restaurant and hang out on the mountain top with them.
  • During the Time Skip, Winston (who started out as just a blue collar Sixth Ranger out for a modest paycheck) has becomes a happy CEO and Family Man. He looks back on his humble origins fondly, and pays the rent for Ray's bookstore while expressing belief that his old friend will turn it into a success someday.
@ Ghostbusters: Afterlife
  • Bloodless Carnage: When Shandor gets bisected, there's no blood or gore to speak of.
  • Gate Guardian: The final act reveals that Egon spent the ten years before his death using proton packs to force back hordes of evil spirits whenever they try to get through a dimensional gateway in Shandor's mine. Even after his death, he leaves behind several automated proton packs that continue to render the gateway impassable.
  • I Own This Town: Ivo Shandor founded Sumerville a hundred years before the events of the movie and owned almost every store in town, as well as the local mine. Unknown to his workers, he was less interested in mining minerals than he was in hollowing out the mountain to turn it into a temple for a God of Evil.
  • Lingerie Scene: Lucky's bra is seen for a second as she changes into the Ghostbuster coveralls. Trevor certainly isn't complaining.
  • Police Are Useless: Repeatedly zigzagged. The sheriff and his men are somewhat justified in arresting the kids after they accidentally destroy half of Main Street, but they also mock Phoebe's claims that the kids were chasing a ghost even though said ghost was flying around in plain sight. Later, they leave the jail (which has lots of confiscated weapons inside) completely unguarded, but this is likely because they are trying to protect the town from rampaging ghosts.
@ Ghostbusters: Afterlife
  • When Callie chews out her son for letting Phoebe get into trouble, Mr. Grooberson (who is standing right in front of Trevor and is also secretly involved in encouraging her ghost-busting ambitions) initially thinks Callie is talking to him.
@ The Court Jester
  • Forgotten Fallen Friend:
    • Poor Fergus is never mentioned again after it's revealed that he was tortured to death.
    • On the villain's side, the king seems to forget about the assassination of his three closest advisors pretty quickly.
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: Gwendolyn repeatedly threatens her handmaiden Griselda. However, when her father threatens Griselda, Gwendolyn says that she'll throw herself out the window if he tries it.
  • I Just Want to Be Badass: Hawkins' first scene establishes that he desperately wants to be a soldier in the Black Fox's group of freedom fighters, but he gets relegated to baby-sitting the infant heir to the throne.
  • Karma Houdini: Roderick, an abusive father and Dirty Old Man who ordered a Ruling Family Massacre, doesn't seem to suffer any worse punishment than the loss of his crown.
  • Screw the War, We're Partying: Hawkins dresses up as the Black Fox and performs a musical number during the middle of the rebellion against Roderick to entertain the Black Fox's soldiers. They enjoy the show, although the Black Fox himself doesn't.
  • Vine Swing: Jean's first scene has her swing into the Black Fox's camp on a vine.
  • Wanted a Son Instead: Jean admits that her father, who raised her to be a Tomboy, probably wished she'd been a boy.
@ The Court Jester

@ The Court Jester

  • The scene where Hawkins and Jean pose as a half-deaf old man and his mute granddaughter to sneak past a patrol. They do a good job of both fooling and frustrating the Mook Lieutenant questioning them. At one point, they make him repeat himself several times, until finally he's screaming at them.
Captain of the Guard: Ask the girl if she's seen a group in the forest.
    Hawkins: Huh? What's that? What?
Captain of the Guard: Ask the girl if she's seen a group in the forest.
    Hawkins: What do you... what?
Hawkins: There's no need to holler, sir, for I hear very well, indeed.
  • The "Outfox the Fox" music number has some good gags in it, but the best of them is the Bait-and-Switch moment at the end where it turns out that Hawkins isn't the Black Fox, but is merely a low-ranking follower who borrowed the Black Fox's costume behind his back.
  • The rigged knighthood trials, all the way through. When Hawkins is required to climb a stone wall in full armor, the king's goons throw him over the wall. When he's required to fight a wild boar, they put him in a pit with a puny piglet.

@ Encanto

  • Unreliable Expositor: When they describe Pepa's wedding, they make Bruno out to be a lot more sinister than he really is.
  • Unreliable Expositor: Camillo remembers Bruno as being taller and more imposing than he actually is. To be fair, he was a little kid when Bruno left, so Bruno may have really seemed that big to him.

Hi fellas. While I wait for a response from the mods, let's try again.

Two tropes for Diary of a Wimpy Kid:

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Manny, at least a bit. While he still annoys Greg and taunts him that he can't be grounded due to being three years old, he shares one of his chocolates with Greg while trick-or-treating and lets Greg and Rowley use him to get more candy.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Rowley comes off as this when he joins the school newspaper and publishes the Zoo-Wee Mama! comic strips despite them being originally Greg's idea, unfairly earning him fame and popularity. While one can argue that Greg wasn't a good friend to him because he broke Rowley's arm, Greg was right to call him out for copying his ideas instead of coming up with something original like he had suggested him. In the original book, Zoo-Wee Mama! was an idea of both Greg and Rowley, so at least Rowley had some ownership of the idea in that version.
