Six Gravity

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fi1oioaamaisva3.jpg
Left to right: Kakeru, Koi, Haru, Hajime, Aoi, Arata
This six-member unit debuted under Tsukino Talent Productions in 2012. They represent the months of December-May and thus, the seasons of winter and spring. Their leader is Hajime.

Tropes that apply to the whole unit
  • Color-Coded Characters: Each member has a theme color.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Their theme color is black, with their sub-colors being blue and gold.
  • Costume Evolution: As time's gone on, their unit outfits have become more royal and powerful, to express their development.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Their unit color is black, but each of the members is heroic and trustworthy. This is especially telling in universes like Tsukihana Kagura or Zanshin.
  • Fighting Your Friend: In the stage play Urazanshin, The Six Gravity members are forced to do this to snap Procellarum out of their Brainwashed and Crazy state.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With Procellarum, their sibling unit.
  • "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: They do this to the Procellarum members when they've become brainwashed.
  • In-Series Nickname: Six Gravity is often shortened to "Gravi".
  • Meaningful Name: The unit name came from Hajime, who wanted the unit name to express that the gravity on Earth is 6 times larger than on the Moon. With the six of them, their impact on Earth rivals that of gravity itself.
  • Theme Naming: All of their last names are their representative months' poetic names.
  • True Companions: They regard each other as this. Despite their occasional petty squabbles, it's quite certain that all of them deeply care for each other.

    Shiwasu Kakeru
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chara12_2022_main_1.png
His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male December representative. A cheerful and proactive young man, Kakeru is lively and works with all his might with little complaint. Despite his Born Unlucky constitution, he is rarely discouraged and does not like to lose. He starts his day in high spirits, top form, and a full stomach. Kakeru is known as Gravi's sparkling starter, and it's become a custom that his entrance kicks off events when Six Gravity is involved.

  • Adaptational Badass: In the Taikyoku Denki Drama CD. Not that he wasn't already badass before, but the Drama CD provides him with some standout moments that weren't present in the stage play.
    • When the Big Bad of the story, Doutaku, attempts to attack Rui, Kakeru shields him and gets knocked into rubble. Doutaku mocks him for protecting Rui, but Kakeru gets in the last word by calling out Doutaku for his Dirty Coward behavior.
    • Doutaku, before fleeing, controls You and Haru's bodies to fight for him so that he can flee effortlessly. Kakeru battles You to a standstill where Arata did so in the stageplay and is the one mentioning how lame You is for being controlled.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: His father owns a lot of money and does very visible things that embarrass him. Because of this, he moved out of home, living alone and becoming attached to living frugally. Kakeru scathingly recounted the time when his father, a World Cup competitor, asked Kakeru if he was watching him on an interview. His reaction to it was annoyance that he was, indeed, watching.
  • Badass Adorable: He looks quite cute. It doesn't stop him from unleashing powerful moves that incapacitate enemies in other universes, though.
    • Perhaps the biggest example of this is his Tsukihana Kagura self. Adorable as he may be, with his braid, huge ribbon, and flower hat, one must not forget he's the suzerain of a country that deals in military might. Most shockingly? The Shiwasu family, the one he's in charge of, is in charge of search-and-destroy missions and all types of crisis management. A casual comment made by Hajime heavily implies that the Shiwasu family is only called in when their assistance is absolutely necessary.
    • To say nothing of his ZANSHIN alternate universe self. He is a Colonel, a soldier class dubbed the highest rank a soldier can achieve, second only to the Generals, whose ranks include only twelve people. On top of that, this particular incarnation of him leads the front lines, the most grueling battlefield that exists in the world. A short story posted by the official account reveals that the soldiers under his command are elites. A throwaway line from Rui in Urazanshin all but implies that Kakeru is the only reason why the front lines remain secure, which causes the Minerva side to be pushed back when he defects.
  • Big Eater: One of his main traits. He is constantly hungry, and it's joked that whenever free food is involved, he's always on the scene.
    • A Serial Escalation takes place when his alternate self as a Chinese Vampire literally lives to eat. In Taikyoku Denki, Kakeru's initially only motivated by nothing but food, causing his partner Koi to pick up the slack when Kakeru's stomach acts before he thinks.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: Serves as the little guy to almost every other Tsukiuta. man he's paired with, sans Rui. Of particular note is his 12.5 cm height difference with Koi, or his 16 cm height difference with those in the months before and after him, Shun and Hajime.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Depending on the situation, he takes up the position of "tsukkomi", the straight man, for Gravi. He and Koi generally serve as this to each other.
  • Born Unlucky: Another one of his main traits. Unlucky things happen constantly to him, with his misfortune being shortened to "anra" (unluckiness). Most common forms of unfortunate incidents include having washtubs falling out of the sky and hitting him or pitfalls opening up on the ground he walks on.
    • Of course, this aspect of him applies to even his Alternate Selves. SHIWASU, his 2P avatar, has the lowest luck stat among all the revealed characters, being a piddling 2/10.
    • The Black Rabbit Kingdom's cabinet minister Lapin admits that if anyone else were to make excuses for being late to work, he wouldn't hear it. However, he makes an exception for Kakeru due to the latter's tendency to get himself in trouble.
  • A Child Shall Lead Them: In Tsukihana Kagura, he became the youngest-ever suzerain of the Shiwasu family at the age of 5, because his father, the previous lord, disappeared to become the Kagura King.
  • Dual Wielding: When tossed into another world in Yumemigusa, he fights with two swords. When isekai'd to the Cyber World in CYBER DIVE CONNECTION, he battles using two chakrams. In Tsukihana Kagura, he dual wields two swords held in Reverse Grip.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Parsley 1, from Kurisu.
  • Everything's Better with Sparkles: A common theme with him is that he sparkles and shines. He's referred to as being "kinpika", which means "gold, shining".
  • Expecting Someone Taller: While out of earshot, a passerby in Taikyoku Denki remarks this about someone who's said to be part of the strongest species.
  • Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Though not specifically a vampire, being a fanged Gokuzoku who's fashioned after a Chinese Vampire in Taikyoku Denki, he has this vibe. He makes his selling point his friendliness.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Admits that he envies Koi slightly for being so dashing and capable. Kakeru's proud of Koi, yet his Height Angst is muddling up his feelings when he thinks about how much Koi's grown physically, in stark contrast to himself.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: A cheery and positive guy with sparkling golden hair to boot.
  • Height Angst: The absolute shortest of the male talents. He's noted to be the valley in the Gravi mountain range. This is often Played for Laughs, though there are moments this is taken seriously.
  • Horrible Housing: Before he got hired as an idol and moved into the Tsukino dorms, he lived in this. Apparently, it was moldy, had horrible signal, and was constantly on the verge of crumbling. This causes him to joyfully sing praises for what looks to be normal apartment housing when he moves into the Tsukino talents' dorm apartments.
  • In-Series Nickname: Kakerun.
  • Interspecies Friendship: In Taikyoku Denki, Kakeru and Koi have this. Though this same concept applies to all of the Gokuzoku/Jinzoku pairs, the encounter they had kicked off the plot of the world in general.
  • Little Bit Beastly: His Tanuki form in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, their Youkai alternate universe.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Kakeru" means "to run" or "to dash". It might refer to that, by December, the year has "dashed" by. In-universe, Kakeru's grandfather's name is Ritsu (立), which means "to stand"; Kakeru's father's name is Ayumu (歩), which means "to walk", and they wanted to continue the pattern.
    • Kakeru and Kurisu's official fanclub name, stella, is the Latin word for "star". Stars are a common Christmas motif, because of the star that the Magi followed. Their fanclub icon and Tsukiusa collar charm is a star.
  • Obsessed with Food: When food is brought up, he becomes a completely different person.
  • One-Track-Minded Hunger: Kakeru's stomach controls his brain. He has noted that he thinks just as much as he acts, but when food is involved, his thoughts are tossed out of the window.
    • This is also what drives him in Taikyoku Denki. Gokuzoku Kakeru believes that delicious food is an absolute justice, even offering to become a bodyguard for the teahouse simply because the food there was so good.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: In alternate universes such as Taikyoku Denki, where he is a Chinese Vampire, or Zanshin, where he is the highest-ranking Colonel in a World of Badass, he stands out as being extremely strong despite being a head smaller than everyone else.
  • Real Men Cook: He learned how to cook when he was living alone.
  • Riches to Rags: Downplayed, but the fact that his father had enough money to transform his apartment into a fairy tale castle, or come flying out of a helicopter to pick him up, is enough to attest to the mounds of wealth his family actually has. After leaving his family home, he housed in a dingy, moldy apartment that also suffered from bad signal.
  • Tareme Eyes: Never grew out of his large, bright eyes even after he was done growing.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Oden.
  • Twintails: In his cheerleader costume in Gravi and Procella's cameo in episode 6 of ProAni, he has Kurisu's hairstyle.
  • Weirdness Magnet: Due to Kakeru's unlucky nature, You sees him as this. When he and Shun, himself a Weirdness Magnet, arrive to drag him into their shenanigans, You's only response is to run and scream at them to leave him alone.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Shows up wearing a cheerleader outfit in episode 6 of TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION to represent Six Gravity, complete with Girlish Pigtails to evoke Kurisu's look. A side story posted afterwards reveals that he willingly chose to do the "joke" segment instead of a serious role, since he knew that his naturally unlucky constitution would screw him over if he went with the latter. The rest of the unit members are awed by his fearlessness.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: On the receiving end of this from Koi when he opens up about his insecurities involving his partner.

    Mutsuki Hajime
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chara01_2022_main_1_1.png
His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male January representative. Coming from the noble Mutsuki family, Hajime is known to have a commanding presence, making him stand out compared to other people. With his naturally great amount of charisma, he often ends up being the center of the group without him realizing. Seen as a "King" by many, not only because of his personal appeal, but also because he is good at taking care of those around him. He is stoic and aloof, but he will never abandon those he cares for.

  • The Ace: Noted to be skilled in athletics, academics, all while having a charming charisma that attracts people to him. On top of that, he's very kind to those under his tutelage, which makes him a role model to all.
  • Affectionate Gesture to the Head: It's his go-to way of doting on the younger members.
  • Almighty Mom: His mother, the Mutsuki matriarch, is like this. Hajime heavily respects her and aspires to be like her. It's implied that Yuki, his distant relative, has grown to resemble his mother more over the years, so he can't really go up against her.
  • Animal Lover: Is very kind to the many animals that take up their residence in the Tsukino dorms. Of particular note is Kuroda, the president's jumbo rabbit, whom he picked up. Haru bitterly notes that Hajime's always too kind to animals.
  • Asian Fox Spirit: As the Black Celestial Fox in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, the Youkai alternate universe.
  • Badass Cape: In his ninja costume in Kurenai Enishi, he has a cape with a gold trim at the bottom.
  • Badass Longcoat: His costume in any given set will usually include a kingly-looking long coat, robe, or cape.
  • Berserk Button: When Played for Laughs, being compared to a cat.
    • When Played for Drama, it's putting him on a pedestal and treating him like he's completely different from everyone else. Just about the only time this is seen is when he reminisces about a time he and Haru argued. This was caused by his desire to be seen as just some regular guy and not as a king.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Towards Yuki. When Sora(ko) is going gaga over Yuki's Hot Teacher appearance, Hajime in his Zanshin costume appears to protect her from unsavory gazes.
  • Bittersweet 17: His first drama CD has him dealing with uncertainty about the future in the end of his last year of high school. An encounter with a magical rabbit changes all of that, however...
  • A Child Shall Lead Them: In Rabbits Kingdom, he was whisked away to the castle when he was crowned as the black rabbits' king when he was still a young boy.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Serious, diligent, and powerful he may be, one thing he definitely isn't is evil.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: He's the recipient of some very strong love from a certain Demon Lord.
  • A Father to His Men: Gravi will follow him through thick and thin, no matter what struggles they will face by being on his side. Even after he is branded a criminal in Urazanshin, Gravi trusts him and Haru despite their brains telling them otherwise.
  • Fisher King: In Rabbits Kingdom, he has this sort of connection to the strength and well-being of his kingdom.
    • Though not necessarily a king of the world in Taikyoku Denki, he still serves as the crux of Yang energy, thus being the cornerstone of its existence. When he's wounded, the world starts going downhill.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Does this to Shun in Rabbits Kingdom. When Shun is Driven to Suicide and almost goes through with it, Hajime slaps him and demands to know if Shun is somehow exempt from facing his own issues, unlike the rest of the world. This stuns Shun so badly that he stops what he was doing.
  • A God I Am Not: Refuses to believe it when Shun tells him that he is just as magically powerful, if not more so.
  • Hates Being Touched: Dislikes it when others touch him without his permission.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: He hates it when people treat him differently and put him on a pedestal. This was a reason why he refused to become the student council president as a high schooler, despite many people wanting him to take up this position.
    • Character Development shows when Hajime himself wants to be the student council president for their High School AU. Haru notes that Hajime's desire to enjoy a normal high school life, even if playing a character, comes hand-in-hand with trusting that those around him won't just be Yes-Men to him.
  • It Is Not Your Time: Tsukino Empire Hajime utters something along the lines of this when sheathing his sword, not going through with killing Shun.
Hajime: You will not come to an end. ...Because you don't want things to end.
  • King Incognito: In Tsukihana Kagura. Who would expect that one of the random traveling warriors is actually a suzerain who leads one of the strongest countries in the world?
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Hajime" and "initium" both mean "beginning".
  • Not a Morning Person: He prefers sleeping in to waking up early. He's aware that he's not all the best in the mornings, but he stubbornly insists that he can get out of bed if he so desires.
  • Not So Above It All: He has shown more Adorkable moments as he's grown older and had more leeway. One of the earliest instances of this, however, is when he teases Haru for his character trait of being "glasses".
  • Purple Is Powerful: Purple is his image color. He is considered by the other talents to be the absolute strongest of them all.
  • Purposely Overpowered: Even without his position as the world's pillar, he's also simply incomparable to the remaining characters, save Shun. He exists leagues above everyone else, partially because of his very existence, but also because he puts in the hard work to keep up and never, ever stops.
  • Reality Warper: Is this, as one of the pillars of the world. Best seen in Rabbits Kingdom, where he used his power as the Beginning to basically hit the Reset Button and erase his and Shun's existences before the rest remembered they existed.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Is this in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou and ORIGIN.
  • Red Baron: Known as the "Black King".
  • Requisite Royal Regalia: Hajime and Shun, as their units' kings, tend to have idol costumes along these lines, with long coats, capes, and the most decorations.
    • Hajime's Imperial style upon entering the Heart of the World in Tsukino Empire fits more literally than anything so far.
  • Shared Family Quirks: He takes after his mother, who's apparently the strongest person he knows. He, like his mother, favors strength above everything else. He and his mother also have partners (Haru for Hajime, and Hajime's father with his mother) who are gentle and relaxed, according to his profile.
  • Super-Reflexes: He has unbelievably fast vision and reflexes to go along with it.
    • This is made to be a comedic point of his, where he can never win acchi muite hoi, a version of Rock-Paper-Scissors where the winner points a way for the loser to look. Hajime's motor reflexes make him look in the direction that the winner points 100% of the time, much to his frustration and others' amusement.
  • Supreme Chef: A very capable chef. Alongside Aoi, he's the one usually shown helping Yoru cook meals for their groups when he has the time. Tweets can have him offer to cook snacks and meals for the other members if they're feeling peckish.
  • Tall, Dark, and Handsome: One of the tallest talents. He is often seen wearing darker shades, has dark hair, and he's considered a hottie by other talents.
  • Tsundere: He is calm, aloof, and serious. The sweet dere side of his personality is often reserved for those younger than him, while the tough tsun side is exclusively for the other seniors, who like to tease him for it.

    Kisaragi Koi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chara02_2022_main_1.png
His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male February representative. Koi is a naturally friendly, amiable type of person. He is good at socializing, making him a person with lots of friends from any gender, and always encourages those who feel down. He is also described to be earnest, keeping up with the trends, and dubs himself "Your Personal Cheerleader". As a result of his naturally extroverted personally, Koi gets along very well with staff members, as well as other talents, so he has one of the largest-reaching social networks within the agency.

Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: amor
Partner: Shiwasu Kakeru (Black Juniors)

  • Ascended Fanboy: In the anime, he gets to voice a role in his favorite mecha anime.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Towards Ai. He is incredibly protective towards her, to the point of being called a siscon.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: He's the big guy, Kakeru's the little guy.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Often the go-to "tsukkomi" member of Six Gravity. He and Kakeru are typically the ones to snark at others to bring back common sense.
  • Born Lucky: Not as extreme as his partner Kakeru, but it's noted that Koi's natural luckiness helps balance out Kakeru's constant unluckiness. They both acknowledge it, too, and they believe they make for a good pair due to this.
    • His Alternate Selves also get in on it. As opposed to how Kakeru's 2P avatar has rock-bottom luck, KISARAGI has the highest, at 10/10.
  • Cheery Pink: Has pink hair and loves the color pink itself. He's a cheerful and friendly guy.
  • Divine Parentage: The twins' mother used to be a Goddess. In the family, the only one who knows is Ai, now a Goddess candidate herself. Koi and their father were left out of the loop.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Pink(head) from Arata, and Parsley 2 from Kurisu.
  • The Fashionista: Shares this position with You. Always on the upkeep when it comes to fashion, trends, and style.
  • Flower Motifs: His and Ai's crest is that of the Japanese plum (梅, ume), which is also a popular flowering plant during spring time, quite similar to the cherry blossom.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: He's the foolish one to Ai's responsible sibling. This was much more prevalent in their introduction, where he'd be bumbling around as Ai watched out for him, but it's still present from time to time.
  • Hate at First Sight: With Arata. He scathingly notes that Arata is the type of hottie who would make him want to wish that all hot people would blow up.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: He co-owns the shiba inu Korokke with Kakeru. Koi is more often associated with the dog, since Kakeru has Nakai-san, but they both very much love their shiba.
  • Hypocritical Humor: When Arata accidentally lets their identity slip to their enemy in Machine Elements, Kakeru makes note of how they were supposed to keep it secret, and Koi immediately jeers at him, calling him stupid. Shortly after, Koi is riled up by the exact same enemy, and he emphatically announces the history and strength Six Gravity has to offer... which they were also supposed to keep under wraps. Arata calls him stupid right back.
  • Important Hair Accessory: Most of his casual and idol outfits feature him with pins and clips dotting his hair. They mean a lot to him because it spells his connection with Ai.
  • Instant Awesome: Just Add Mecha!: Why he voiced a role in the mecha anime he's a fan of.
  • Interspecies Friendship: In Taikyoku Denki, Kakeru and Koi have this. Notably, this is the first time that Gokuzoku and Jinzoku have come together.
  • In the Blood: Despite all their differences, Koi and Ai are always looking for ways to help people out. They're naturally inclined to be caring, considerate people.
  • Knowledge Broker: A positive version of this. Due to his insane networking skills, he's always got new info, keeping up with the trends, and making connections with those around him.
    • Even in alternate universes, such as Tsukihana Kagura, he mentions that his personal network gives him information on the best places to sit to watch a festival. In addition to that, being in touch with his sister, who lives in a neighboring country, gives him details on things that are going on there.
  • Let Me Tell You a Story: His introductory CD starts off like this, retelling to classmate Kakeru the story behind his hairpins and his love for his younger sister and girls in general. Kakeru is having none of it.
  • Magnetic Hero: In Taikyoku Denki, this is mentioned to be his main strength. He is able to rally people up and get others on his side without even realizing it. It's different from natural, inborn charisma, but it's powerful nonetheless.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Koi" means "love". To be precise, "Koi" is used when there is a particular subject of that affection. It is more often used in the context of desire or attraction, which goes with his personal goal of being a cheerleader who supports his fans.
    • His and Ai's official fanclub name, amor, is the Latin word for "love". This is in keeping up with the February pair's general motif relating to love.
  • My Sister Is Off-Limits: Hates the idea of Arata even touching his little sister.
  • No Indoor Voice: Back when they first started dorming, he'd forget he was indoors, gleefully hyping himself up, shouting while laughing. This quickly came back to bite him in the ass when he hears Hajime coming down the hallway...
  • Nue: In Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, the Youkai universe, he takes the form of a Nue, a Mix-and-Match Critter. He wears a monkey-like mask and mane, tiger-patterned limbs, and a snake for a tail.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Pink-haired, bright, and absolutely caring for everyone. It's telling that his focus stories often revolve around cheering people up and getting them to smile doing what they love.
  • Theme Twin Naming: Koi and Ai, which, when put together, form the word for romantic love (Renai). Their birthday is Valentine's Day.
  • Too Much Alike: He and Arata are like this. It's noted that they dislike each other because they get along so well and are the common victims of Hajime's Iron Claw.
  • Trapped in Another World: Although this commonly happens to the Tsukino talents, he's the first character to get tossed into another world and another time period all alone.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Gets a pep talk like this from Kakeru when he's down in the dumps about not being able to cheer everyone up. Later on down the line, he helps Kakeru when the latter is struggling about his own insecurities.

    Yayoi Haru
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chara03_2022_main_1.png
His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male March representative. Haru is described as a relaxed and gentle young man, with a warm and welcoming personality. An older brother to two younger sisters, he naturally gravitates toward the position of big brother in Six Gravity and Tsukiuta. as a whole. Haru is responsible, so he is admired by those younger than him, and his wide range of skills means that those older than him rely on him, too. However, his tendency to make fun of Hajime, his curious nature, and his clumsy moments tend to make him the victim of amused insults.

  • Animal Motifs: Birds. More specifically, the Japanese bush warbler, the "uguisu", which is a harbinger of spring.
  • Arch-Enemy: His natural enemy is the jumbo rabbit Kuroda, who headbutts him and sends him flying on special days. It goes both ways.
  • Bad Hair Day: Occasionally subject to these, due to his thin, soft hair strands being easily tangled up with themselves.
  • Berserk Button: Sacrificing oneself for the greater good. It's only pushed in very certain circumstances with one specific person (Hajime) to whom his anger is directed. In Tsukino Empire, Haru lashes out against Hajime for various reasons, one of which is that Hajime acts too self-sacrificial for the sake of the inconsiderate higher-ups in the military. In another world, Haru also snaps at the exhausted Hajime for suggesting that Haru and Kai leave him behind to escape. Granted, those situations happened under extreme stress, but they're notable nonetheless for being moments when the smile completely slips off Haru's face.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Towards his actual little sisters and toward Hina, too. He takes on this attitude with the juniors in Tsukiuta., warmly inviting them to treat him like their own big brothers.
  • Bittersweet 17: His first drama CD has him dealing with uncertainty about the future in the end of his last year of high school. While musing about his situation, he receives a call from Hajime, who is dealing with a jumbo-sized rabbit...
  • Bullying a Dragon: Downplayed, but he willingly and happily pushes Hajime's comical Berserk Buttons. Haru's motives often vary (e.g. for a change of pace, or because he finds it really funny), but he does know that he will get his ass kicked for his impertinence.
  • Censor Box: Played for Laughs. In Sora(ko)'s video promoting their Hyakunen Aoharu universe, Shun(ko) blocks out his eyes using this and Pixellation to make Haru look "even more suspicious".
  • The Chessmaster: He's good at strategizing and planning, so his otherworldly counterparts are typically said to be planning just as much as he's on the battlefield. Others make fun of him for this, since it looks as if his alternate universes' selves have Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
  • Chessmaster Sidekick: Serves as this position to Hajime in alternate worlds. Where Hajime is in charge of brute-forcing things, Haru is tasked with strategies and making sure things go smoothly.
  • Constantly Curious: A trait of his that is carried between universes. This gets Deconstructed in both light and serious ways.
    • In the normal universe, he admits that when he were to write reports, he would get so curious going down into a rabbit hole about the thing he's investigating that he would pull all-nighters.
    • In Tsukino Empire, this is Played for Drama, as his burning desire to understand exactly what Hajime is causes him to overdo things and nearly kill himself in his curiosity.
    • In Taikyoku Denki, again, his desire to know exactly what Hajime is causes him to follow Hajime around, almost to the point of being an Abhorrent Admirer.
    • In Tsukihana Kagura, he giddily gets excited over the idea of visiting other countries to figure out the source of a mysterious incident plaguing them. He tries to mask it as a noble goal, but he lets slip that he was just purely curious about the situation, leading Koi to retort to his statement.
  • Curious as a Monkey: He retains childish curiosity even as an adult. A funny anecdote from his and Hajime's school days reveals that he'd be in oddly high spirits after pulling an all-nighter of searching things up, causing Hajime to deal to him a Tap on the Head to knock Haru out and quiet him down.
  • Declaration of Protection: To Six Gravity in Hakudou to Étoile.
  • Ditzy Genius: He's incredibly smart, has social skills, and is very capable, but he's clumsy. He can't take pictures without them getting blurred to hell and back, sucks horribly at needlework, and his cooking skills (when even allowed in the kitchen) are subpar at best.
  • Eye Scream: In Tsukino Empire, his right eye gets overclocked, blinding him in that eye. Hajime's contracted beast Genbu shares with him his own eye, but Haru wears an eyepatch to remind himself of his foolishness.
  • Head Pet: His pet bush warbler, Hokekyo-kun, likes sitting on his head.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Every single time Hajime gets pissed off at him, it's because of something Haru did to tease him. Typically, when the juniors see Haru suffering at the hands of his partner, they think that he deserved it and go on their way.
  • Hot Teacher: For the Tsukiuta. guys, he's the sole teacher character in their High School AU.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: When next to Hina. They have an almost 30 cm height difference.
  • Idiot Hair: Has three.
  • In-Series Nickname: Has multiple.
    • Back when they first started, he was called the "Playboy King" due to his natural gentlemanly attitude. This also prompted the odd title of "King of Wall-Slams" as well.
    • More commonly, there is "Harupedia", from his plentiful wealth of trivia stocked up in his brain.
    • He invites people to call him "Haru-onii-san".
  • In the Hood: His Zanshin design. Though his face is still visible, it projects an air of suspicion that would normally not be seen in the usual universe.
  • The Klutz: As mentioned above, he's very clumsy. He protests that description of him, saying he's actually just bad with his hands, but Hajime is there to clarify that's what being clumsy even means.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Haru" means "spring". Fittingly, most of his songs feature warmth and acceptance, as well as the possibility for change.
  • Megane: His glasses are his essence. His eyesight isn't actually all that bad, but he wears his glasses anyway. Hajime and Shun in particular like messing with him for being a glasses character.
  • My Sister Is Off-Limits: Absolutely loathes the idea of either of his younger sisters getting a boyfriend.
  • Nerd Glasses: He wears these, since he is one of the smartest members of the crew.
  • Number Two: To Hajime. As Gravi's advisor, he's always watching out for the others, and most other universes feature him right behind Hajime.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Has this attitude in Tsukino Empire regarding Hajime.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When truly angry, he stops talking, loses all emotion from his face, and he lacks the usual joy and cheer that he often brings to the conversation. When he and Hajime are both tense, the air around them shifts, and their juniors are clearly unnerved.
  • Punny Name: His name means spring, and he tends to play around with the meaning.
  • Shared Family Quirks: Apparently, his weird naming sense comes from his mother, who named him "Haru" because he was born in the spring. The name of Hokekyo-kun, his pet bird, comes from the sound effect that bush warblers make when rendered in writing.
  • The Smart Guy: Haru isn't always flaunting it, but he does tend to share tidbits of information whenever it's needed.
  • Tranquil Fury: As Hajime once mentioned, this is how he gets genuinely angry. His face loses all expression and he begins talking less and less.

    Uduki Arata

His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male April representative. Arata is a laid-back, unhurried person who takes things at his own pace, often compared to a cat in a sunny area. He tends to be someone who places himself at either end of the spectrum when it comes to work: he can be quite difficult to handle once he loses enthusiasm, but he displays an overwhelming ability to concentrate and talent when it comes to his interests. He goes all the way when having fun, causing him to go all-out in a way that's incredibly unexpected, given his appearance.

Voiced by: Yoshimasa Hosoya; koyomi (singing, from season 4)
Stage Cast: Taiki Yamazaki (1-3); Ryohei Takenaka (4-8); Reiki Nakajima (9- )
Tsukipro Dancer: Yamasaki Shouta
Producer: ChouchouP
Age: 27 (2023 setting)
Birthday: April 28
Height: 182 cm
Blood Type: AB
Official Fanclub: cerasus
Partner: Satsuki Aoi (Black Middle)

  • Affectionate Nickname: For the juniors, Kakerun, Ruirui, and Ikkun. His nickname for Koi, however, falls straight into Embarrassing Nickname, given Koi's visible irritation when Arata uses it.
    • He calls Satsuki Chihiro, Aoi's older brother, by Chii-chan.
    • For characters from other branches, he makes use of the already existing In-Series Nicknames for other characters: Ren-kyun for Ren, Nozomun for Nozomu, Ken-chan for Kensuke, Ryo-kun for Ryota, Mamo-chan for Mamoru, and Icchi for Ichiru.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Played for Laughs. He will beg and whine and wheedle people, often You, to accompany him to watch horror movies, knowing fully well that he is comically bad at dealing with horror.
  • Animal Motifs: Depending on the situation, he gets associated with cats, dogs, or even capybaras, which are his favorite animal.
  • Big Sister Bully: Downplayed. His older sister Yuka routinely messes with Arata. His attempts to get back at her always fail, because she always reminds him which one of them is the older one. That being said, however, he's usually the one pushing her buttons, digging himself into these situations.
  • Cherry Blossoms: His motif, and the icon for cerasus, used as the collar tag on April's Tsukiusa. The mix of beauty and sadness symbolized by the motif are reflected in his songs. He is, fittingly, the male representative of the month in which they bloom and fall.
  • Childhood Friends: Aoi's. They have been together their whole lives, and when one does something wrong, the other is right there to put him back on the right track.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: He and You are the "Pervert Pair". When they're together, they get talking about subjects so risqué that they need to get censored out.
  • Cool Big Sis: Though he would deny it, Yuka can act like this to him occasionally. She keeps a hard drive of Six Gravity and Procellarum performances to support them, and though part of it is because she adores Hajime as a hardcore fan, it's made clear that she also supports him wholeheartedly.
  • Cool Shades: As Heartbreak Red, his superhero alter ego. They were even sold as official merchandise.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: He dies in Aoi's arms in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter.
  • Doomed New Clothes: After getting transported back to the usual timeline in Kurenai Enishi, he complains that he'd only just bought the jacket which ended up stranded in another world.
  • Dreadful Musician: He's not the best musician. When playing a piano, he makes sounds from it that no one has ever heard of before, much to Koi's amusement. Aoi notes that this is dubbed "Arata Magic", and the only instrument this hasn't affected is the tambourine, which, in his defense, he plays with "godlike skill".
  • Dual Wielding: In Rabbits Kingdom, he fights with two sickle-shaped swords held in Reverse Grip.
  • Dull Surprise: His lack of emotion gives way to this when he's shocked.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Gives this to Koi, who's Pink(head) to him. His nickname from Chisa, Aratacchi, was originally seen as this, but he's warmed up to it. The one he has from being a Lovable Coward is "King of Chickens" (chiking).
  • Forgotten First Meeting: He and Aoi met Hajime when they were young. Hajime protected the pair from some bullies who had taken over their playground, patting Arata on the head and encouraging him to continue being a hero. After receiving an Affectionate Gesture to the Head from Hajime in the present day, Arata thinks Hajime heavily resembles the kid he met in the past, but...
    Arata: ...Nah, couldn't be.
  • Go Out with a Smile: He dies in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter with a relaxed, easygoing smile on his face.
  • Hidden Depths: Emptyheaded and bored-looking as he may be, he holds a genuine love for Sentai superheroes, because they help people out. His annual April Fools' joke, where he takes over the official account as Heartbreak Red, is done with the pure desire to help people out. He's surprisingly good at sharing advice and encouraging others. In addition, it's been noted that despite his emotionless looks, he's very passionate about things he cares for.
  • Incurable Cough of Death: Has this in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter.
  • Killed Off for Real: Happens to him in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter, having been inflicted with the tuberculosis that took Okita Souji's life.
  • Living Emotional Crutch: He is this to Aoi, as Yumemigusa reveals. When faced with the idea that his world's Arata could live longer if he held off on facing reality, the Yumemigusa world's Aoi struggles to cut their connection, wanting to have his world's Arata live happily.
  • Lovable Coward: He has the absolute lowest resistance against horror out of all the talents in the agency. When they run into ghosts in the Demon World in Lunatic Party, he's the first one to dive behind Hajime and boldly claim his own safety, all while shaking in his boots.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Arata" means "new". This is a nod to how the Japanese fiscal year begins in April, thus being a "new" year for change.
  • Mono no Aware: His Cherry Blossom motif tends to reflect this side of the concept - that they're beautiful as they fall. His songs are full of the tension of a youth reluctantly growing into this realization.
  • The Nondescript: His black hair, dark eyes, and blank expression make him look like this. Of course, he's anything but normal, as he's one of the wackiest talents in their agency.
  • Odd Friendship: Has one with Chisa, his fellow April representative. Despite being quite different in their appearances, they're both Cloudcuckoolanders who pursue what they like rather zealously, and their antics are unpredictable by even those closest to them.
  • Orange/Blue Contrast: With his image color being orange and Aoi's being sky blue, they give off this sort of vibe.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Heartbreak Red is just him with a red scarf and Cool Shades. He insists on being called Heartbreak Red, and he will vehemently argue that they are not the same person.
  • Red Is Heroic: Purposely invoked with his superhero alter-ego, Heartbreak Red.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Aoi's blue, and blue to You's red.
    • Arata has stated he doesn't think, while Aoi overthinks. They balance each other out as being almost complete opposites in their preferences and appearances, but they get along strikingly well. Their image colors also reflect this, with Arata being the warm color to Aoi's cold color in their Orange/Blue Contrast.
    • Lazy and lethargic, Arata is a nuisance when his oddball activities cause You grief. You is active and always up for a challenge, yet they both get along as Chivalrous Perverts who are given annoyed looks by their childhood friends.
  • Sleepyhead: Would rather doze off than do anything else, especially if he isn't interested in what he has to do.
  • Secret Identity: It's not a secret, but he insists on treating Heartbreak Red as this.
  • Sentai: The origin behind Heartbreak Red. He has always loved heroes because he thinks they're cool, so that's why he wants to be just like one.
  • The Stoic: Always seen with a blank, unemotionless face.
    • This is Deconstructed in situations where people who are passionate about their jobs think that he is making light of work due to his lack of emotion. He had to put in hard work to make them acknowledge him.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: It's said that his older sister Yuka looks a lot like him.
  • Sweet Tooth: Loves sweet things. He likes strawberry milk most of all, though.
  • Too Much Alike: He and Koi are at each others' throats constantly, but it's because they're too similar to each other.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Strawberry milk.
    • This carries on over into alternate universes. Taikyoku Denki has him, a Chinese Vampire, blissfully talk about how wonderful strawberry milk is. In Tsukihana Kagura, he's seen happily sipping down a box of strawberry milk.
  • We All Die Someday: His reaction to his eventual death in Yumemigusa.

His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male May representative. He is a refreshing young man whose smile always comes accompanied by sparkles. Very mature and level-headed, he is seen as a prince by those around him. Aoi, as the conscience of Six Gravity, is constantly watching over the group to make sure he can back them up when need be. He is a naturally diligent, serious person, which makes it hard for him to laze around and take things easy, placing him in stark contrast to his Childhood Friend Arata.

  • Animal Lover: Absolutely loves animals. Though Aoi doesn't have an animal specifically associated with him, they all gather around him when he sets up a trimming session for the pets.
    • This also applies to monsters and dinosaurs. He has always had a soft spot for even Kaiju, so he doesn't usually take it well when he sees them get taken down in movies.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: It is almost never seen, but when he gets truly angry, he's nothing short of terrifying. The only one who knows just how scary he can be is Arata, who cautions others to not piss him off.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Towards Wakaba. When he runs into her after she's done some growing up on her own, he feels somewhat lonely that someone he's seen as a younger sister has grown up so well.
  • Birds of a Feather: With Yoru. Being childhood friends to Chivalrous Perverts, having a hobby of cooking, and generally being wholesome and caring to their units has made them extremely good friends.
  • Bishie Sparkle: Audibly in the drama CDs and visibly in the anime and manga. It is brought up in Aoi's profile that his smile comes with a sparkle, and that same smile can let anything be water under the bridge.
  • Childhood Friend: With Arata, whom he's been with for much of his life. Their classes have always had them together, and they also went to the same university. In most other universes, this is also the case, and Aoi remains connected to Arata despite their differences.
  • Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: Aoi is the minder of the unpredictable Arata. When Arata is off doing his own thing, it's typically up to Aoi to make sure he gets back on track, and there are times when Aoi must act as a buffer to help relieve the negative impression Arata can impart on others.
  • Commonality Connection: With Wakaba, who also has a love for animals.
  • Delayed Reaction: In Taikyoku Denki, regarding his contract with Arata. He goes a few years before he realizes that he hasn't aged due to their contract reaching the next step.
  • Dual Wielding: In ZANSHIN. He wields a longer sword and a shorter wakizashi.
  • Elemental Motifs: The sky. His official image color is sky blue, his official fanclub name caelum is Latin for sky or heaven.
    • His soul beast in Tsukino Empire is a bird.
    • Certain designs, such as his dancer outfit in Tsukihana Kagura, feature him with wings.
  • Final Exchange: In Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter, this is his final conversation with the dying Arata.
Arata: I'm gonna... sleep for a bit. Good night, Aoi.
Aoi: Good night, Arata. Sweet dreams...
  • Forgotten First Meeting: He and Arata first met Hajime when they were young, but it seems that he doesn't remember.
  • Friend to All Living Things: The pets all joyfully gather around him when it's time for brushing.
  • Innocent Blue Eyes: He's not naïve or childish by any means, but he is incredibly good-natured and kind.
  • In-Series Nickname: Is called "Prince Aoi", "Aoi-chan" by You, and "Trimming Prince" for his love of trimming animals. As for one-off nicknames, there has been the "IRL 2D Prince" name that went floating around his college campus due to his natural princely behavior.
  • I Will Find You: In Zanshin. His setting is that he first took up a sword in order to find out where his older brother had gone after a Regret attack, as they had Never Found the Body. It's heavily implied in a later post made in the Zanshin world that, indeed, Chihiro had died from the attack, and Aoi knows in his heart that his older brother is gone.
  • Living Emotional Crutch: Arata is this to him, with this trait being heavily pronounced in Yumemigusa. His Yumemigusa world's self is unable to bear the fact that he must continue living without Arata, stubbornly holding on to prevent his world's Arata from dying, all while the idol universe Arata's life is ticking away.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Aoi" means "hollyhock", a type of flower that blooms in May. It is also the name of a festival that is held in May of every year in Kyoto. It is pronounced the same as the word for "blue", but the kanji is different. However, in the Singer Namedrop songs, his line often uses "blue" instead of his actual name. His image color is sky blue.
  • Oni: His form in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, their Youkai AU. He's still just a soft and princely Horned Humanoid.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Aoi's fed up by the constant arguing that You and Yoru are doing in Yumemigusa's Moon Chapter, he screams at them that it's not the time for them to be arguing. Arata, who's lazily trying to pull You and Yoru apart from each other, remarks that they've really gone and pissed Aoi off.
  • Orange/Blue Contrast: He serves as the blue to Arata's orange.
  • Princely Young Man: He is called Gravi's prince. He's often embarrassed by the label, and Arata teases him with it, but in the end, he does live up to the role.
  • Punny Name: One of his solos, Reincarnation, is based off of Mother's Day, a holiday that takes place in his month. Reincarnation sounds like a normal title until you realize the "carnation" in the name, as carnations are a common flower gifted to mothers on the holiday.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Arata's red. They're heavily different, as Arata doesn't think and goes off of intuition, while Aoi is constantly overthinking. They strike up a good balance between each other, as many note.
  • Reluctant Warrior: One of his main struggles in Gravi's focus version of Tsukihana Kagura is that he doesn't want to follow in his family's footsteps performing behind-the-scenes dealings.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: It's mentioned that he is incredibly similar to his older brother Chihiro in appearance and as refreshing princes. When Koi once attempted to hug Aoi from behind, he accidentally tackled Chihiro instead, and the text interface (Chihiro is displayed as "Aoi?") reveals that it's not actually Aoi.
    • This is brought up in Aoi's fourth season CD drama as a nice Call-Back. Chihiro gets mistaken for Aoi while out on the town, and the story involves him clarifying the situation to Aoi and Arata.
  • Support Party Member: In one of the alternate universes, where all of the named characters are magicians, Aoi's special move seems to invoke this position in Gravi. His Aurora Surge ability creates an aurora that heals allies and debuffs enemies. Among the named cast of over forty characters, he's also the only character who has the "debuff" attribute.
  • Supreme Chef: Less so than Yoru, who's the designated chef among the Tsukiuta. members, but Aoi also enjoys cooking and is good at it.
  • Tears of Remorse: After Arata dies in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter, Aoi sheds these. Despite all his efforts to keep his universe's Arata alive, he had to accept that Arata would die.
    • His short blurb in Zanshin notes that he shed these the first time he cut down Regret. It notes that he would no longer shed tears for as long as he lived, until he found his brother again.

Procellarum

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fi1bfapauaab_nf.jpg
Left to right: Iku, Rui, Kai, Shun, Yoru, You

Made up of members from the Kansai region who were scouted by Tsukino Talent Productions, they debuted in 2013 as Six Gravity’s sibling rival unit. Their months go from June to November, representing the seasons of summer and autumn. Their leader is Shun.

Tropes that apply to the whole unit

  • Brainwashed and Crazy: All the members, bar Kai and Shun, are briefly mind-controlled in Urazanshin.
  • Color-Coded Characters: Each member has a theme color.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Their theme color is white, and their sub-colors are red and silver.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror: Played for laughs. Because Shun is their leader, they've become naturally more resilient at accepting the unnatural things that happen around them, taking the oddities in stride. It's telling that, in an official post detailing how strong all the members are against horror, every member is either average or above average.
  • Costume Evolution: Their unit costumes were originally quite casual-looking, but more recent outfits have been more princely and royal.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With Six Gravity, their sibling unit.
  • Good Wears White: Though Shun's antics put them into questionable situations at times, each and every one of their hearts is considerate and kind.
  • In-Series Nickname: Procellarum is often shortened to "Procella".
  • Meaningful Name: Procellarum is one of the seas on the moon, a lunar mare which is so large that it is called Oceanus Procellarum.
    • Its In-Series Nickname, Procella, is Latin for "storm". This is brought up in songs such as LOLV -Lots of Love- and Tsuki no Uta. where their lines bring up the storms.
  • Seen It All: After so many years of putting up with whatever Shun makes happen, all they can really do is sigh, put up with it, and deal with the aftermath.
  • Singer Namedrop: Though they also have Tsuki no Uta. as one, this is the case with ONE CHANCE?, their first unit song. In a twist, they sing their partners' lines.
    • You sings "douse yoru wa naiteta tte". This can be interpreted in its full line ("...you cry at night"), or as its own line as "In the end, Yoru will end up crying". The official dance makes a nod to this alternate interpretation, as Yoru pouts in response to You singing that line.
    • Iku sings "namida no aji wasurenaide" ("Don't forget how your tears tasted"). It makes use of the Alternate Character Reading of Rui's name.
    • Kai sings "shun to shinaide butsukatte" ("Don't feel down, crash into it instead"). "Shun" is a Japanese Written Sound Effect for falling depressed or getting saddened.
    • Yoru sings "boku dake no taiyou ni" ("My very own sun").
    • Rui sings "hadashi ni natte kaketeiku" ("I'll run barefoot and rush on"). Instead of incorporating Iku's kanji name, it makes use of the pronunciation.
    • Shun sings "zutto futarikiri no umi ni" ("Forever, into an ocean for the two of us"). Like the line using Rui's name, this one also uses Alternate Character Reading for Kai's name.
  • Theme Naming: All of their last names are their representative months' poetic names.
  • True Companions: They're heavily protective of each other. Even if they don't seem that way, Procellarum are indeed fiercely loyal to one another.

His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male June representative. Rui possesses a natural talent for music, particularly the piano, and has participated in national and international competitions ever since childhood. He comes off as innocent and naive, to the point that Shun has (somewhat oddly) influenced his way of thinking. However, he can also do rather unexpected things whilst maintaining a straight face. He possesses a unique worldview, which appears in his creations, and he maintains nonreactive to things that would otherwise terrify people.

  • Adopted to the House: By Kai, after he ran away from home.
  • Animal Motifs: Cats. The Tsukiusa. plush toy associated with his month, June, features a cat on its tag.
  • Big Brother Worship: Always adored his older brother Rei ever since he was a kid. Even now, he loves his older brother, and they've since mended their relationship.
  • Blatant Lies: When asked which member he would be able to beat in an arm-wrestling competition? He answers that he'd beat everyone in an instant.
Iku: There's a limit to how blatant your lies can get, Rui!
  • Characterization Marches On: His initial personality was prickly and awkward, unwilling to really open up to anyone. Throughout the years, however, opening up his world and finding out what joys it really contained would lead him to make a positive change. At present, he no longer shies away from talking with people, and he happily indulges in the things he loves, especially music.
  • Child Prodigy: For piano. Early on in his life, this was a Deconstruction, as he had become so good that his parents neglected his older brother Rei in favor of him. Fed up with the Parental Favoritism, Rei accidentally injured Rui, leading to them becoming estranged. It took years of gentle support from the other Procellarum members for the brothers to reconciliate.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Has shades of this. With Shun having taught him some wildly outlandish things about the world, and his own unique worldview, Rui can range from being a Genius Ditz to a Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant.
  • Cue the Rain: In Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, he is an Amefuri-kozou, a Youkai which does this.
  • Doomed New Clothes: After they're brought back to the normal world in Kurenai Enishi, he mourns the loss of the shoes he'd only worn a few times before they were lost in the alternate universe.
  • Dull Surprise: Even when he says he's surprised by something, it doesn't show on his face and his expression remains nondescript.
  • Elegant Classical Musician: Of the piano. He is incredibly talented, and he has made friends among other units bonding over their shared love of piano.
  • Elemental Motifs: The rain. He was picked up in the rain, most of his songs are about it, and he's associated with it in general.
  • First Friend: Because of their similar ages, he and Iku were paired right off the bat. Iku coaxed him out of his shell, and Rui notes that he still remembers the first day they met because it's been so important to him.
  • Gloomy Gray: How he started off seeing the world, viewing it in a bleakly gray scenery.
  • Gray Rain of Depression: He was picked up in an alleyway, taking shelter with Yamato, with this showering down. This is also depicted in the lyrics of his first solo Rainy moment, which describes the regrets and cruelty that the rain has given him.
  • Happy Rain: The lyrics of Tear feature this theme of being happy that the rain has allowed him to meet so many things and find true joy, in stark contrast to Rainy moment.
  • Healing Hands: In Rabbits Kingdom. He can heal injuries, but he cannot resurrect the dead or heal fatal wounds.
  • Important Haircut: Done for his 2022 design above, signifying him putting his past behind him and no longer being the one protected.
  • In-Series Nickname: Nicknamed "Ruirui" by Arata and Chisa. Additionally, having taken after Shun, he has the nickname "Petit Demon Lord".
  • Introverted Cat Person: He'd rather prefer staying inside, doting on his beloved pet Yamato.
  • Family of Choice: Most of the characters have this sort of attitude towards each other, but Rui has it the most, considering how he met Kai.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: He is half-Gokuzoku, half-Jinzoku in Taikyoku Denki, much to Kakeru's surprise.
  • Mad Artist: Downplayed example. His artwork is rather... unique, to say the least.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: None of the boys are particularly macho, but this comes into play the most with Rui and Yuno. Rui is probably the softest of the boys, and Yuno is the most tomboyish of the girls.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Rui" means tears/raindrops. June is the rainy season in Japan. Hydrangeas bloom in this season, which are said to make all the rain worthwhile for their beauty. In the Singer Namedrop song Tsuki no Uta., his line uses the more usual common-noun pronunciation "namida" for "tears".
  • Non-Action Guy: Rui doesn't fight as much as the others. Even in alternate universes such as Yumemigusa, Rabbits Kingdom, and Tsukihana Kagura, he doesn't actually cut anyone down. This is averted in Taikyoku Denki, where he wields a knife, and Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, where he fights with a proper sword.
  • One Degree of Separation: His older brother Rei attended the same high school as Hajime and Haru.
  • Parental Favoritism: He was the favorite. His prodigious piano-playing skills caused a rift in between him and his beloved brother. That, coupled with the demands made of him, made Rui run away from home, hitchhiking until he met Kai.
  • Physical Scars, Psychological Scars: When he was young, he was wounded on his neck when his brother pushed him into a window, leading to a scar. It used to be covered up with a bandage or with makeup when Rui first started out. This scar has since gone away, and it's noted in his profile that his Character Development and reconciliation with his brother could have led him to free himself from his past.
  • The Quiet One: He doesn't speak very much, but it's noted that the things he says have an impact to them, lingering in the mind.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The sensitive guy to Iku's manly man.
  • The Stoic: Not exactly the most expressive guy around. Rui's usual expression is a deadpan, neutral face devoid of emotion. He can emote, but it doesn't seem that he particularly wants to.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Rui and Rei have extremely similar appearances.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Pudding.
  • White Mage: Takes up this position in Rabbits Kingdom.

His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male July representative. Kai is most known for his bighearted, lively brotherliness, making him popular among and respected by other males. He is naturally welcoming and accepting, although according to You, he can end up pampering others too much, especially Procellarum's leader Shun. As the oldest member of Six Gravity and Procellarum, he naturally takes it upon himself to watch over them all. Kai is known for being a Jack of All Trades, as well as The Reliable One.

Age: 29 (2023 setting)
Birthday: July 15
Height: 187 cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: mare
Partner: Shimotsuki Shun (White Seniors)

  • Badass Normal: In alternate universes, he doesn't have the special settings or lineage that Hajime or Shun have. Despite that, he routinely kicks some of the most ass because he's just that capable. It's telling that in the battle cards for Taikyoku Denki, Kai is shown to have the strongest stats of all Jinzoku, beating out even Kakeru.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Kai is the oldest of six siblings, so he has a habit of taking on this role for everyone. As the oldest out of Gravi and Procella, he treats all the rest of them like younger brothers, and he openly offers to let them get pampered. This is also what led to Kai rescuing Rui, who had run away from home, before they were scouted.
  • The Big Guy: The tallest and oldest member of the Tsukiuta. idols, with a build to boot. When applicable, he often wields the biggest weapons in battle, too.
  • Birds of a Feather: When on a walk with Haru, Kai notes that they're similar. Despite their differences in the types of adventures they like to pursue, they're both attracted to the idea of discovering new things.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: As an Osakan, he's rather strict on humor. He often serves as the funny guy to You's straight man, but Kai does go around marking people on their jokes if they're not good enough.
  • Bruiser with a Soft Center: As mentioned before, he's very strong. That doesn't stop him from doting on small animals and cooing over cute things.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror: This trait of his is stronger than the rest of Procellarum. It's quite telling that his resistance to horror is the highest of all the talents, save for Shun (who is at infinity). Being Shun's partner, he's the most physically and mentally prepared to weather the common trips to the Demon World.
  • Crazy-Prepared: He's always prepared for everything that comes his way. This includes his numerous permits, his many skills, and his insane treasure trove of wilderness survival information. Shun mentions that if he were to bring someone with him to a deserted island, it would be Kai or Iku.
  • Declaration of Protection: To Procellarum in Hakudou to Étoile.
  • Divine Right of Kings: The way he becomes the White Rabbits' King. Shun imparted upon him the power to become one, leading to him gaining the strength.
  • Elemental Motifs: Water, especially the ocean, being his namesake. He is accepting as the ocean, filled with love and adoration for his pals, but also incredibly powerful, capable, and has more to him than meets the eye.
  • Exceptionally Tolerant: He has an incredibly easygoing personality already, and depending on the universe, this trait might get cranked up to eleven.
    • In Taikyoku Denki, he doesn't seem the least bit perturbed that Kakeru, who's sitting in front of him, is a member of the strongest species. In fact, he sings along to the "I'm hungry~" ditty that Kakeru sings.
  • Fisher King: In Rabbits Kingdom, he is the King of the White Rabbits, serving as this to their land.
  • Gentle Giant: The tallest TSUKIPRO talent. Also a warm, inviting big brother-like guy who is welcoming and accepting.
  • Hidden Depths: Kai comments himself that he is quite the romantic. That being said, Shun also notes that Kai is dense, so he lacks any tact.
  • I'm Standing Right Here: When musing what Shun can do to help out the beach house, Kai questions just what Shun is good for, aside from being white and having a pretty face, all while Shun is standing next to him.
  • Interclass Friendship: With Shun. One of their early conversations while getting to know each other was one about their families, and Shun brought up having a butler, as well as said butler being from a family that directly serves the Shimotsuki family.
  • I Should Have Been Better: When Zanshin universe Shun is about to kill him, Kai only expresses remorse that he should have tried a little harder to make sure he didn't feel alone. Zesseikyou, the version of Shun that never experienced true friendship, only responds with confusion, scoffing at Kai.
  • Jack of All Trades: After high school, he didn't attend college but instead, helped around wherever he could. This led him to gain numerous skills and qualifications. These include a driver's license, small seacraft license, permit to deal with dangerous substances, crane license, quality foodstuffs checker's permit, home management permit, and a forklift permit.
    • He also serves as this in Zanshin, introducing himself as a jack-of-all-trades in his promotional line.
  • The Lost Lenore: He had a girl he liked as a child, but she died very young due to a disease. He's never been able to get over it and gets somewhat depressed on the day of her death.
  • Massively Numbered Siblings: He is the oldest of six, which is why he always ends up acting like the older brother/Team Dad and helping everyone else.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "Kai" means "ocean". People often note that his heart is as wide as the ocean.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: The toughest and one of the strongest talents, it's been noted from time to time that he has incredible muscles.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something: As the White Rabbits' King, he personally takes up arms to defend his land from the threats. It's noted that he's even stronger than Rui and Shun's guards Iku and You.
  • So Proud of You: Likes expressing this to the other Procella members.
  • Team Dad: Iku notes that if Procellarum were to be considered a family, Kai would be the dad. He's tough, manly, and he constantly expresses pride for his beloved unit members.
  • Tengu: In Tsukino Hyakkiyakou.

His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male August representative. You promotes an image of being someone who puts women above men, the "enemy of mankind". His words aren't just for show, either: he is quite good with women and is popular among them. He is free-spirited, stylish, and unrestrained, toying with others and not minding whether or not he causes them trouble. However, while he appears to be flashy, he possesses a strong sense of duty and is very much the Only Sane Man among the jumble of weirdos that is Procellarum. The third son of a family who runs a temple in Nara.

Stage Cast: Washio Shuuto (1-8, 11-); Kurita Manabu (9-10)

Age: 27 (2023 setting)
Birthday: August 13
Height: 183 cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: sol
Partner: Nagatsuki Yoru (White Middle)

  • Anger Born of Worry: In the Zanshin world, he treats Yoru this way, according to the informational pamphlet. Despite being a member of the research team, Yoru felt responsible when a soldier died protecting them, so he took to the battlefield. You didn't like that, acting mean to him as a result.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: In flashbacks, it turns out that he interacted like this with Toru in particular. Even now, You doesn't treat Toru with the respect he does Sou, best shown in how he never referred to Toru as "onii-chan" as kids, and "aniki" when they were older.
  • Bail Equals Freedom: In the Alternate Universe Rabbits Kingdom, he was sent to military prison after abandoning the front lines to see Yoru after the later was critically injured during the war. You spent two weeks in prison before being bailed out and freed on Kai's orders.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Has shades of this with Matsuri. She even calls him Big Bro Narap.
  • Big Brother Worship: Not like he'll ever admit it, but he admires his two older brothers, Sou and Toru. He more often expresses respect for the strict and tough Sou, while doing so grudgingly for Toru.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: He serves as Shun's contrary guard in Rabbits Kingdom, having been chosen through ladder lottery. Kai lampshades this trope by mentioning how Shun is a Demon Lord with powers beyond their wildest imagination, so there's actually no need for You to stick by Shun's side.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: The necessary "tsukkomi"/straight man character for Procellarum and Tsukiuta. as a whole.
  • The Casanova: He's quite successful at charming women, but their explicit romance ban as idols prevents him from actually going through with it.
  • Childhood Friends: With Yoru. And to a lesser extent but still very present, Mattsun.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: He and Arata are dubbed the "Pervert Pair". They brazenly talk about sexual topics in front of everyone, much to the chagrin of their childhood friends.
  • Cool Kid-and-Loser Friendship: Zig-zagged. When he and Yoru were very young, they got along fantastically, and there weren't any labels of the sort. This came to a head in junior high, when You became friends with a different group. The two rarely talked to each other at the time, but they did reconcile soon afterwards.
  • Designated Victim: Played for Laughs. Though he doesn't like getting riled up often, his position as the straight man in Procellarum makes him ripe pickings for his unit members to mess with him. Examples include, but are not limited to: getting whacked on the head as part of a game, getting teased for a misspelling, and getting his name mocked-YO!
  • Dual Wielding: In Kurenai Enishi, he fights wielding two full-length swords.
  • The Fashionista: Shares this position with Koi. They occasionally go out to shop for clothes together.
  • Fiery Redhead: His flashy red hair also calls to mind his wide range of emotions. He's outspoken and outgoing, and he's nothing short of bold.
  • Flower Motifs: The PV for Yumeito, Kimi to Boku wo Musubu, You and Yoru's fifth season duet song, designates You as being a sunflower. Sunflowers bloom in the summer and are viewed as a symbol of the sun. Young sunflower heads also track the sun across the sky during the daytime before their maturity. This contrasts with Yoru's assigned flower, Queen of the Night, which can only bloom during the nighttime.
  • Free-Range Pets: Apparently, You lets Magellan roam around, crossing streets and going shopping. Magellan once casually fit into his backpack and accompanied him to work.
  • From Stray to Pet: He met his pet penguin Magellan by turning around a street corner and running into him. Though obviously confused, You figured out that the penguin didn't come from the aquarium or didn't want to be taken into custody, so he just brought him home.
  • Henpecked Husband: Somewhat, in Taikyoku Denki. Arata makes fun of him, noting that he's been whipped by his wife.note
  • Incurable Cough of Death: Has this in Yumemigusa's Moon Chapter.
  • In the Blood: He and older brother Toru are specifically noted to take after their mother, being casual and frivolous in stark contrast to Sou and their father's stern seriousness.
  • Killed Off for Real: Just like how Arata died in Yumemigusa's Cherry Blossom Chapter, he ended up dying in the Moon Chapter.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • "You" means "Sun". As a child, his goal was to shine like the Sun, because he wanted to be the one that sparkles the most.
  • Mr. Fanservice: His costumes are often the most revealing, showing off some well-toned muscles. Even when his outfits don't reveal much skin, he finds a way around it by occasionally exposing extra skin if need be.
  • Night and Day Duo: The day to Yoru's night. In Tsukihana Kagura, their regular dances take place during the twilight, a time between the nighttime and the daytime. You represents the setting sun, while Yoru represents the moon at dawn.
  • Not So Above It All: In Tsukihana Kagura, he notices that Yoru has caught on to the weird walk that the remaining Geppaku (Procellarum) members are doing. He yells at them to knock it off... and after a brief intermission, he's walking back on doing the exact same walk.
    • When Rui, Yoru, and Kai are doing a strange group pose after introducing themselves with quite the cheesy quotes, You admits that he's unwilling to go along with the quotes, but he will join in on the pose, which he subsequently strikes.
  • One Note Chef: You is a fanatic for curry, and admits in his character profile that he's been studying ways to make curry more delicious. He doesn't seem to make anything else, nor does he care. He has dozens of spice blends, and it's implied he's still making more.
  • Only Sane Man: Despite all his attempts to come off as a suave guy who cares for nothing aside from the ladies, it becomes apparent that he can't go a day without snapping at his unit members to straighten up, calling them out on their nonsense, or making sure they're doing what they're supposed to.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red, of course. This is present in his interactions with Yoru and Arata, both the blues.
    • He is polar opposites with Yoru, his duo partner and Childhood Friend. Where Yoru is kind and polite, You is brash, tough, and aggressive. Yoru has internal strength and acts diligently, while You, despite putting on a facade of acting uncaring, is just as determined to pull things off once he's set his mind on it.
    • He and Arata are fellow perverts, but their innate natures are completely different. Arata is The Stoic whose expressions never show on his face, while You's a Tsundere whose expressions range from anger, joy, and everything in between.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The manly man to Yoru's sensitive guy.
  • Solar and Lunar: Again, he represents the sun to Yoru's moon.
  • Talking in Your Sleep: Yoru revealed that You once sleeptalked the Heart Sutra.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Curry.
  • Tsundere: Noted to be like this. For all his complaints and griping about Procellarum's weirdness, he loves them all the same. Not like he'd ever admit it, though.
  • Uncatty Resemblance: Magellan, his pet penguin, is a stylish guy who also loves eating curry. In Lunatic Party, it's revealed that just like You, Magellan's personality is an easygoing, straight man type of guy.

The male September representative. Yoru is sincere, mature, and he's a plain guy, all things considered. He dislikes doing things rashly, preparing things beforehand lest his anxiety get the best of him. He has a high level of femininity, enjoying housework and cooking, as well as having a personality akin to his own mother, leading to him being in the position of "Procellarum's Mother". Yoru is from Nara, is You's childhood friend, and despite his seriousness, can act odd from time to time.

  • Admiring the Abomination: Adores the Nordic snake summoned from the Demon World, Jörmungandr, regardless of the fact that when he was first summoned, he was a huge serpent with venomous fangs.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Kind and considerate he may be, when push comes to shove, he can tear into people. This is also present in alternate universes, where he fights physically, but even in the current idol universe, he's just as threatening, if not more so.
  • Birds of a Feather: He acts this way with Aoi. With their childhood friends being Chivalrous Perverts and having similar, gentle personalities, it's no wonder they've become close.
  • Childhood Friend: With You. And also Matsunaga Taichi, nicknamed Mattsun, who lives back in Nara.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Though he's a serious and hardworking guy, there are simply times when he... doesn't act that way. He isn't called this often anymore, but he was crowned "Idiot au naturel" (suboke) and "Nara's Airhead King" (nara no tennen ou) by You.
    • He becomes shocked over the silliest things.
    • Gives himself a case of the giggles by making an Incredibly Lame Pun using You's name, while everyone else is deadpan.
    • Gets abnormally fired up and excited whenever Setsubun, the yearly bean-tossing holiday, comes around. He revels in the thrill of making others spill secrets that they would normally hold back from saying, which confuses even those close to him.
  • Commonality Connection: With Akane, it's that they both enjoy cooking and making new recipes. They keep in touch to exchange recipes, which makes people comment that they're both just housewives at this point.
  • Cool Kid-and-Loser Friendship: Zig-zagged. Flashbacks show that when he and You were children, they didn't have these labels, and they simply got along normally. In junior high, however, Yoru recognized that You had gone to a completely different world, thus feeling awkward if he were to talk to him. With help from Mattsun, though, they got back together.
  • Determinator: Very much so, as You can attest. It turns out that his innate stubborn personality comes straight from his grandfather, whom You sees as his natural enemy.
  • Flower Motifs: The music video of his and You's fifth season duet song, Yumeito, Kimi to Boku wo Musubu, associates Yoru with the flower known as a Queen of the Night. The night-blooming cactus flowers open during nightfall, only to wilt when dawn arrives. In Japanese, the flowers are called "beauty under the moon"note , a nod to Yoru's association with the nighttime. This contrasts with You's flower in that same preview being a sunflower.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: Yoru was once lost in the mountains at night when he was young. He encountered a Mysterious Stranger who reassured him that the dark was nothing to be afraid of (You chastides him about stranger danger years later), and he still fondly remembers the man. Decades later, You and Yoru stop in said man's bed-and-breakfast on a visit to Nara, and Yoru doesn't recognize him.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Again, he is very gentle, but he will not hesitate to put a stop to whatever he thinks is wrong.
    • Played for Laughs with You. You, being the one he's closest to, receives much, if not all, of his snarking moments. When You's messing around and doing something Yoru doesn't want, a Death Glare is enough to get his childhood friend to stop in his tracks.
  • Idiot Hair: They're referred to as being his sprouts.
  • Master Actor: It's said that, with more experience in showbiz, he's started to get more recognition for his acting, which is the aspect he's excelling at.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month. Nagatsuki is a shortened form of "Yonagatsuki" (夜長月), "moon of the long night," with the first letter being written with his first name.
    • "Yoru" means "Night". This is present in his and Akane's fanclub name, "nox," which means night in Latin. In addition to this, several songs incorporate his full name, using "nagai yoru" for long night.
  • Motor Mouth: When touting the splendors of mountain yams in SCHOOL REVOLUTION! to You, he starts going on a long-winded rant about how amazing and multipurpose they are.
  • Naginatas Are Feminine: The most feminine member of the entire Tsukiuta. crew, he is seen using a naginata during battle in Tsukihana Kagura.
  • Night and Day Duo: The night to You's sun. Tsukihana Kagura has them perform routine dances during the time of twilight, which is set between their respective realms. Yoru is represented by the moon at dawn, while You is described to be the setting sun.
  • Performance Anxiety: Though this doesn't happen as often anymore, he acted this way back when they were starting out. He would get nervous, thinking that his failures would bring others down, and many other negative thoughts besides.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to You's red. A calm and thoughtful young man, he's prone to thinking much too deeply into issues, and he tends to get weak-kneed. Yoru prefers acting and taking pictures. That is contrasted with You's bold, flashy personality, which loves attention and dancing, and prefers being the one on camera.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The sensitive guy to You's manly man.
  • Shared Family Quirks: His nagging, obstinate side is something that he got from his grandfather. He doesn't recognize it as such, but You will swear upon it.
  • Siblings Wanted: Is an only child and wishes he had either older or younger siblings, having begged his parents as a child to get him some siblings. You's older brothers say they see him as a younger brother, however.
  • Solar and Lunar: The moon to You's sun. The official emojis used when Yoru manages the Twitter account typically include a moon somewhere.
  • Supreme Chef: One of his main traits. He loves cooking, and his meals are said to be restaurant-worthy.
    • In Taikyoku Denki, the peach buns of his own making are said to be one of the reasons why Kakeru joins their side in the beginning.
  • Talking in Your Sleep: Occasionally gets influenced by the scripts he reads, mumbling lines that are taken straight out of an RPG.
  • Team Mom: He is Procellarum's. They all even give him presents on Mother's Day, much to the disappointment of his own mother, who only receives one present.
  • Tears of Remorse: Cries this way, being unable to do anything save stay by You's side, when the latter passes away in Yumemigusa's Moon Chapter.
  • Tender Tears: Being a sensitive and emotional guy, he's occasionally shown doing this. Some of his songs feature lyrics that tend to mention tears and crying.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: You's curry, which is listed as one of his likes.

The male October representative. Iku is lively and athletic, preferring to be constantly in motion compared to staying still. He is the type who always looks forward and remains aware of those around him. He also exudes a natural aura of masculinity, which makes him a dashing young man who is always ready to help out. Iku is inspiring and refreshing, wanting to be relied on as much as possible. He starts off his days bright and early, ready to face the activity that awaits him.

  • Affectionate Nickname: On the receiving end of this from everyone who uses the "Ikkun" nickname with him. It started with Yoru wanting an easier term to call Iku by, since Iku-kun doesn't roll off the tongue as easily, this nickname came into existence from an offhanded comment from You. The one who uses this nickname with him most frequently, however, is Rui.
  • Animal Motifs: Bears and dogs.
    • Iku is referred to as the "Track-and-Field Teddy," his monthly logo is represented by a jack'o lantern with bear ears, and he's associated with bears in general.
    • His character in the Youkai alternate universe is an Inugami, a dog spirit. He is one of Shun's "guard dogs" in Zanshin. Lastly, in Tsukihana Kagura, his unique dance move is called "Okuchi-no-Makami", which is the deification of the Japanese wolf-dog, the Yamainu. Prior to becoming an Inugami in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, he was a normal Yamainu.
  • Back from the Dead: Near the end of Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, he is revived from his death as a mountain dog to become a true Inugami, a dog spirit.
  • Beary Friendly: Apparently, Iku's appearance was designed with the image of a teddy bear in mind. Iku is often called the "Track and Field Teddy", and his height has grown exponentially to the point where he's tall, just like a bear. He also owns a pet panda by the name of Sasakuma Ichigou.
  • BFS: Fights with one in Rabbits Kingdom. According to additional sources, the demon sword's name is Durandal, and it can only be properly wielded by those it deems worthy. When Shun was wandering the earth, he received it from a hero of the bear tribe and gifted it to Iku.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Sees Kai and Kurotsuki as his role models. Fittingly, he calls Kurotsuki by both "Kurotsuki-san" and "Kuro-nii".
  • Big Heroic Run: Does this in one of the Tsukiani episodes in order to catch up to the president and give him the plan for their concert.
  • Bishie Sparkle: It's called the "Iku-Flash".
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: As one of the Only Sane Men in Procellarum, he's a necessary Tsukkomi role to keep people in line. That being said, he's not as relentless when it comes to Rui his partner, or Yoru, so You often has to pick up the slack.
  • Came Back Strong: In Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, and the origin of his Youkai self's existence as an Inugami. Though he was nothing but a regular wild dog throughout his life, he was killed and was revived by Shun as a dog spirit.
  • Cool Big Sis: He and his sister get along, and she is supportive of him. She often buys magazines and his performances, updating him on what she liked in his special features.
  • The Defroster: For Lonely Rich Kid Rui, back when they were starting out. As Rui's partner, he's always supportive, guides him throughout their struggles, and they face troubles head-on, together. Being The Hero to Rui, Iku has become one of the reasons why Rui is no longer afraid of stepping outside of his comfort zone.
  • Determinator: If Iku sets his mind to do something, he will see it through to the end no matter the obstacles. This is a message in many of his songs, and he encourages people to join him on his journey to become better people together.
  • Dual Wielding: In Kurenai Enishi. He fights using two swords.
  • In-Series Nickname: Ikkun, which is more common, and the occasional "Track and Field Teddy".
    • At times, Ikkun is combined with the Written Sound Effect "kyun," often translated as Squee, turning into "Ikkyun". This is displayed when he makes others' hearts skip a beat with his unintentional Mr. Fanservice moments. Tsubaki's boss, Kubou Ruri, refers to him like this constantly, showing her die-hard fan nature.
  • Lovable Jock: He represents the sports aspect of October, as October is a common month for sports competitions in Japan. His main sport is track-and-field, but he's been willing to take up any sport because he loves moving his body. Iku is sports-oriented, active, and refreshing, and he is incredibly kind to people.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month. Kannaduki, literally written as "The Godless Month," is the month in which the Shinto gods leave for Izumo, causing Japan to lack gods. This is referenced in his solo song, "Lost My God".
    • Iku (郁), literally translates to either "cultural progress" or "perfume". It is pronounced the same as the word "to go", reflecting his sporty character. In the Singer Namedrop song "Tsuki no Uta", his line uses "ikutsu" (a lot).
    • When he, as a mountain dog, is named by the princess Ichiha in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, she takes inspiration from the fragrant (fukuiku) sasanqua camellias in the area.
  • Not So Above It All: In Shiawase Awase, despite putting up a feeble argument that they are not in the position to get dancing, he performs Yum-Yum!! Love!? with Reina. Spontaneous Choreography ensues, but he yells at them to stop. When everyone leaves, however, Iku admits that he actually enjoyed dancing along.
  • Only Sane Man: Shares this position in Procellarum with You, though slightly less so. Since he was raised in a normal, average family, he's got a closer link to reality than the rest of them.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The manly man to Rui's sensitive guy.
  • Shared Family Quirks: His parents were both the type to grow in height after college, and he, too, did just that, breaking past the 180 cm wall. His older sister Ichiha (not the princess, but his actual sister in the timeline proper) is also quite an athlete, joining her tennis team when she was in school.
  • Spirited Competitor: Loves a good competition. Iku is encouraging and supportive, and he is always aiming for greater heights.
  • Spirit of Halloween: Less so than Reina, the female October representative, but Iku does get associated with Halloween from time to time. One of his logo designs features a jack'o lantern with a teddy bear-like design.
  • Stock Shōnen Hero: It was more prominent when he was a teenager. Big-hearted, innocent, treasures The Power of Friendship, and he even has spiky hair!
  • Strong Family Resemblance: It's said that his sister Ichiha, who's one year older than him, is very similar in appearance to him, to the point they'd look like twins.
  • Unknown Rival: You considers Iku to be his rival as a Chick Magnet, but Iku doesn't really care.

    Shimotsuki Shun
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chara11_2022_main_1.png
His 2022 Idol Outfit
His 2019 Casual Outfit

The male November representative. Shun, who hails from Kyoto, comes from the distinguished Shimotsuki family, which serves as the western counterpart of the Mutsuki family of the east. He is bizarre and unpredictable, doing what he pleases without much thought or restraint. He tends to have a meaningful smile on him, often behaving and speaking cryptically. Shun's title is the "White Demon Lord", one which must not be taken lightly, as he is very much capable of doing things beyond normal human comprehension.

  • Alternate Self: It is theorized in Tsubaki's profile that she could very well be this for Shun.
    • The mysterious man in Rabbits Kingdom, also known as Dia, is an alternate self to him in that particular universe.
  • Asian Fox Spirit: As the White Celestial Fox in Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, the Youkai alternate universe.
  • Badass Longcoat: His costume in any given set will usually include a kingly-looking long coat, robe, or cape.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: According to his listed hobbies, Shun wields an exorbitant number of magicks, most of which would be harmful to people if they were used recklessly. He doesn't do so, because he loves humans as a whole, and he wouldn't dare bring harm to them... unless, of course, they were to treat his companions badly.
  • Berserk Button: Treating Procellarum or any Tsukiuta. member as anything less than they are.
    • One of the earliest instances of this was when an interviewer was unnerving Procellarum, demanding that they praise said reporter in order for them to write a good article for the unit. Soon after, Kai sees on television that a waterspout opened up around the interviewer's house. Shun's only response is Dissonant Serenity, musing to himself that he had gotten kinder.
    • When his alternate version treats Hajime as nothing more than an object, Shun begins screaming bloody murder, in a genuine O.O.C. Is Serious Business moment.
    • Along the same lines, the normal universe's Shun becomes absolutely pissed when he notices that not only has Zesseikyou treated Hajime like an item; treated Haru and Kai as nothing more than dirt; but lastly, that he thought to turn his beloved Procellarum Brainwashed and Crazy. That last one seals the deal, and he becomes absolutely livid.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: In most of the universes, since this aspect of him is kept consistent. He would rather laze around, eat nice things, and have a nice time watching everyone from afar as he doesn't do jack shit.
    • In Tsukihana Kagura, he is the near-omniscient suzerain of the Shimotsuki family. Said family rules over one of the countries with the richest histories, and he has mystical powers that allow him to sense disturbance all the way across the globe. What does he do when he notices things are going awry? He sends Kai, Rui, and Iku on a Fetch Quest while he uses his "imprisonment" as an excuse to do nothing.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Tends to lounge around asking Kai to bring him tea. Shun is actually incredibly intelligent, being Number Two to Hajime in academics within the entire country. Though he's graduated from school, it still must be remembered that he graduated from one of the most prestigious universities, is one of the busiest and most capable idols in the agency (again, second only to Hajime), and is a complete enigma who dabbles in White Magic, Black Magic, and exists as one of the pillars of the world.
  • Cannot Tell a Lie: As a pillar who serves as part of the world itself, everything he says becomes reality. He can't lie lest he risk altering the very fabric of the world by making a lie into a truth.
  • Cardboard Box Home: His pet demon Diablo lives in one. Only Shun knows what's inside the box.
  • Characterization Marches On: He started off reliant on those around him, actively pushing others' buttons just for kicks, and acting as if he's leagues above everyone else. This began to change when he came to learn about Procellarum and the rest of the Tsukiuta. boys. At present, he continues to tease and mess around with people, as this is simply a part of his nature. However, the main difference is that he's no longer viewing them from another plane of existence: he is actively getting involved with them, joining in on their antics, and seeing everyone for themselves.
  • Combo Platter Powers: Can do Black Magic, White Magic, Summon Magic, Stock RPG Spells that include offensive magic, Healing Hands, Status-Buff Dispel, Charm Magic, turning people into stone, and inflicting poison onto people.
  • Creepy Good: This Demon Lord isn't actually evil, but he's not always totally comforting, either. His intentions may be good, but the methods with which he does so are not always preferred.
  • Cuddle Bug: Particularly to Rui, though he gets cuddly with others as well.
  • Dissonant Serenity: Played for Laughs. No matter the wacky, crazy, abnormal adventures they're thrown into, he's often seen with a pleasant smile that causes just about everyone to freak out.
  • Don't Fear the Reaper: Shun is an extremely powerful and magical being who embodies endings and death. However, he is bright, happy, and full of love for all of humanity.
  • Driven to Suicide: His Rabbits Kingdom version cast a curse on himself so that if he or Hajime placed their hands on his neck and prayed to end it all, things would come to an end. He's hit the Despair Event Horizon so hard that he attempts to go through with it.
  • Face Death with Dignity: In Tsukino Empire, he calmly and serenely allows Hajime to bring a sword to his neck, believing that bringing things to an end would be better off for the world.
  • Fanboy: An unabashed fanatic of his fellow "King" and rival, Hajime. He keeps up on all of Hajime's appearances and has a shrine to the man in his room... literally on the floor above Hajime's room, in the same dorm.
  • Gratuitous Foreign Language: Does this every so often. It's justified, since as the Shimotsuki family child, he's a young master who's been taught numerous languages.
  • An Ice Person: Mostly associated with the element of ice. His magical powers can take any element, but he can inadvertently cause snow to fall just by getting too excited. His partner rabbit in the 2024 HARAJUKU SHOP theme uses ice-themed attacks.
  • Interclass Friendship: With Kai. The worlds they live in are entirely different, but they get along extremely well together.
  • Interrupted Suicide: In Rabbits Kingdom, he attempts to put his hands on his neck, praying for it all to end, but Hajime smacks him to the ground with an absolutely anger-filled You Fool!.
  • Intrigued by Humanity: A trait of his that is kept constant throughout the worlds, including the normal universe. He is absolutely spellbound by how flawed, imperfect, and thus beautiful humans are.
  • I Hate Past Me: Zesseikyou, the Zanshin world's version of him, is essentially past Shun if he didn't open up and "lower" himself to be like mortals. Shun absolutely detests him, displaying unforeseen violence that shows just how angry he is.
  • Light Is Not Good: In the Zanshin world, he serves as the final boss, fittingly for his Demon Lord character.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, his family name is the classical/poetic name for his month.
    • The kanji for "Shun" means "falcon", and written differently, it can also mean "season". In the Singer Namedrop song "Tsuki no Uta", his line uses "shunkan" (moment), instead of his actual name.
  • Mobile Shrubbery: His pet demon Diablo lives underneath a cardboard box. Diablo loves trying to get shipped to different places, often ending up in stage venues or shipping areas.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In Rabbits Kingdom. Realizing that his innocent desire to live like the fleeting lives he watched from afar is the reason for Dia's incomplete existence is this. The knowledge that he had a hand in Dia becoming a homicidal maniac on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge hollows him out into an Empty Shell only capable of repeating apologies.
  • Mystical White Hair: A supernatural existence. The only other one who has snow-white hair and skin just as he does is Tsubaki, which tips you off to the idea that they're not quite normal.
  • Never the Selves Shall Meet: In Kurenai Enishi. Two Shun's exist in the world, but the youkai, despite recognizing who he is, are better off not acknowledging idol timeline Shun as existing, lest The End of the World as We Know It come about.
  • Not Me This Time: When a moon-viewing festival causes Procellarum to sprout rabbit ears, Shun utters this in the resulting pandemonium.
  • Otaku: Is this for Hajime. He, Tsubaki, and Uduki Yuka are Birds of a Feather in their common support of their favorite Idol Singer Hajime.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: And how.
    • In Taikyoku Denki, when Doutaku has incapacitated Hajime and Kai, he becomes enraged with a quiet anger which sends off energy that immediately scares Doutaku and causes him to run away.
    • In Rabbits Kingdom, his My God, What Have I Done? moment and subsequent Driven to Suicide action is a clear sign as to how guilty he feels and how desperate he is to righten his mistake by killing himself. This is a stark contrast to his typical fun-loving, cheerful behavior.
    • In Tsukino Empire, Shun's desperation to reach everyone who is fighting outside in his and Hajime's stead causes him to trip and fall. His pitiful behavior serves to highlight just how much he treasures his friends and how terrified he is of bringing harm to them.
    • In Urazanshin, when the normal universe's Shun sees that Zesseikyou has taken control of Procellarum and treated his fellow seniors horribly, he is Suddenly Shouting in an unprecedented rage. Later on, when he hears what Zesseikyou did to Hajime, he's straight up screaming I'll Kill You!, and Kai has to hold him back.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: The current universe's Shun hates his childish self found in Zesseikyou, who caused absolute mayhem in Urazanshin in a desperate plan to stabilize his universe. He doesn't want to acknowedge that version of himself, nor does he want to accept him.
  • Purposely Overpowered: Since he's one of the existences holding nearly every world up.
  • Reality Warper: As one of the pillars of the world, he is this. It's more pronounced when it comes to Shun than Hajime, since he uses his powers willy-nilly. According to Shun himself, his and Hajime's existences are so special that if they were to exist in every single timeline, the overall balance of the universes would collapse.
  • Really 700 Years Old: He is this in the alternate worlds Rabbits Kingdom, Tsukino Hyakkiyakou, Tsukino Empire, Taikyoku Denki, and Zanshin, where he came into existence as the very world itself.
  • Red Baron: Known as the "White Demon Lord".
  • Requisite Royal Regalia: Hajime and Shun, as their units' kings, tend to have idol costumes along these lines, with long coats, capes, and the most decorations.
    • This gets taken even further in Tsukino Empire as the second prince of the world.
  • Sealed Good in a Can: Though his setting is played up like this, it's ultimately subverted in Tsukihana Kagura. Shun is the leader of the Shimotsuki family, which leads the powerful and mysterious Geppaku, so he must be sealed deep within the confines of the territory to prevent his power from slipping... but it's not fun, so he constantly slips out to play, eat snacks, and mess with his group members.
  • Sheltered Aristocrat: Had never been on a train before leaving to join Procella. He comes from an old, powerful family.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Played for Laughs, for Hajime. He uses crystal balls to peer at what Hajime is doing in his spare time.
  • Weirdness Magnet: The biggest example. The closer to Shun one is, the closer to weirdness one will be.
  • We Really Do Care: When he thinks that he shouldn't be bothering others as much, he declares that he'll be stepping away from Kai. This causes Kai reassure him that they'll never leave him, stating that all of Procellarum thinks the same.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: The struggles of his Rabbits Kingdom, Tsukino Empire, Taikyoku Denki, and Zanshin selves in particular.
    • Intrigued by Humanity, his Rabbits Kingdom self would descend to the mortal world of the White Rabbits, wanting to become one of them.
    • Tsukino Empire Shun didn't want to bring the world to an end. And without an end, he himself wouldn't die, lingering in the center of the world, waiting for his other half Hajime to kill him.
    • The Chinese Vampire version of Shun in Taikyoku Denki is good as immortal. Though he doesn't particularly dislike life itself, he would prefer not to burden his partner Kai with such a concept... though despite what Shun seems he wants, his heart doesn't lie. Their contract receives an upgrade, and they share each other's lifespans forever on.
    • In Zanshin, he has gone millennia without true companionship. Zesseikyou becomes twisted and desperate for someone to linger with him, thus causing him to drag people into his world to play.
  • You Are Not Alone: In Tsukino Empire, he is reminded of this when the whole gang shows up in the center of the world, as Astral Projections of themselves.
    • This also happens in one of his dreams, where he notes that everything in his dream is in a White Void Room. Kai calls out to him, making him realize that he's no longer all by himself.
  • You Wanna Get Sued?: Often has to be reminded not to say the brand name for his favorite ice cream, Häagen D*zs.

L-R: Wakaba, Chisa, Ai, Yuki, Hina, Kurisu

The female counterpart to Six Gravity debuting in 2012. Like Six Gravity, they represent December to May. Composed of Goddess candidates who started off as Goddess candidate students, they live on the moon. Unlike their male counterparts, whose main jobs are solely as idols, they also work under Goddesses on their moon to generate spiritual energy to keep their moon society up and running. They are represented by flowers. Their leader is Yuki.

Voiced by: Hisako Kanemoto
Stage Cast: Onishi Nayu
Producer: Satsuki ga Tenkomori
Age: 23 (2023 setting)
Birthday: December 25
Height: 150 cm
Blood Type: B
Official Fanclub: stella
Partner: Momosaki Hina (Flower Juniors)

The female December representative. Kurisu has been nicknamed a pure and petite "Princess", known for her frank and un-sugarcoated manner of speaking, although at times unrefined. While she comes off as uptight to most, she is actually quite weak to criticism and is easily moved to tears. She exerts great effort into becoming a goddess and actually managed skip grades, becoming the top scorer among the first years during the entrance exams. After graduating from Diana Academy, she has become a Goddess candidate.

  • A-Cup Angst: Much to her consternation, she remains quite flat. A good way to get her comically annoyed is bringing it up.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Nicknames Kuga Ichiru, "Chiru", during their time going up against each other to see who would get voted for the second years' PR representative in Hyakunen Aoharu. In return, he calls her "Hijiri", something she deems to be new and refreshing.
  • Childhood Friends: With Tsubaki.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Her most common hairstyle.
  • Didn't Think This Through: It seems that putting an adhesive ingredient into an invention dubbed "poison" wasn't the best idea.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: For Kakeru and Koi, "Parsley 1 and Parsley 2", respectively.
  • Friendly Rivalry: Has one with Matsuri, her fellow Mad Scientist.
  • Grade Skipper: Skipped grades to enter Diana Academy.
  • Height Angst: Among all the talents, she remains the shortest alongside Tsubaki, at 150cm. She gripes about it multiple times, noting somewhat woefully that she's at least a head shorter than everyone else.
  • Insistent Appellation: Played for Laughs with Kakeru, her fellow December representative. Though he occasionally calls her Kurisu-chan, she would rather prefer he call her Kurisu-sama, which he does without complaint.
  • Insufferable Genius: She's a genius who can back up her claims of being one.
  • Mad Scientist: An inventor who loves creating new things. The reason why she's a "mad" scientist is because her product names don't always seem very safe...
Kurisu: If you drink some, you'll be the owner of a sexy body in no time. I call it "Adult Woman Go-Go Poison!"
  • Meaningful Name:
    • "Kurisu" comes from the Japanese pronunciation of "Christmas" (kurisumasu).
    • "Hijiri" means "holy", and is the kanji character used for words related to Christmas.
    • Kakeru and Kurisu's official fanclub name, stella, is the Latin word for "star". In Christmas, a star symbolizes the North star that guided the Magi to the infant Christ. There are also several stars present on their fanclub motif.
  • Never Bareheaded: Always seen with the aforementioned wire accessories, ribbons, hats, or any combination of them.
  • Noblewoman's Laugh: Occasionally does this.
  • Saving Christmas: Lends a hand in CYBER DIVE CONNECTION to help the gang do this.
  • Significant Birth Date: It's Christmas.
  • Teen Genius: A genius who has dabbled in technology and inventing ever since her appearance. It hasn't been specified whether or not she's always been a prodigy, but her skipping those grades wasn't for show.
  • Token Mini-Moe: The shortest of everyone affiliated with the agency, tied only with Tsubaki.
  • Tsundere: Prickly and easily riled up. However, she does genuinely care for those around her, and she has a grudging respect to her rivals.

    Hanazono Yuki

Voiced by: Asami Imai
Stage Cast: Tachibana Rii
Producer: Machigerita
Age: 25 (2023 setting)
Birthday: January 22
Height: 169 cm
Blood Type: A
Official Fanclub: initium
Partner: Kisaragi Ai (Flower Seniors)

The female January representative. True to her being the quintessential Yamato Nadeshiko, Yuki possesses a diligent, virtuous disposition, as well as a queen-like aura. Possessing both intelligence and beauty, she has been acknowledged as the candidate closest to becoming a goddess. She is also stern on herself and on others, as she does not like slacking off. After graduating from Diana Academy, she has become a Goddess candidate under Bakuro Shuka.

  • Benevolent Boss: Works under one. Despite Bakuro causing her numerous stresses, it's clear that she wants the best for Yuki, giving her a speech that makes her realize she must Dare to Be Badass.
  • The Clan: Yuki is a distant relative (a second cousin, in fact) of Six Gravity's Mutsuki Hajime.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Pun intended. She has warmed up considerably to the other members aside from Ai compared to her introductory CD, as evidenced by her shifting away from calling them with their last names, and referring to them by first name.
  • Elemental Motifs: Snow or ice. It's in her name, as well as her songs.
  • Fire/Ice Duo: She represents the calm, reasonable ice when contrasted with her boss, Bakuro Shuka, who is the aggressive and freespirited fire.
  • Hot Teacher: In the High School AU Hyakunen Aoharu, Sora(ko) giddily gushes over her lovely figure and wonders whether or not they're both humans.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: A good deal of her internal strife as a student, and as a Goddess candidate, is that she has been burdened with many expectations of what she should be by those around her. However, she simply wants to be seen as herself.
  • Lady of War: A capable fighter who was raised in a branch family of the Mutsukis, she trains in the dojo to help out the Goddess who has employed her. She also acts as the Kendo Club advisor for Hyakunen Aoharu, because she also wants to make use of her fighting skills.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • "Hanazono" means "flower garden", and "yuki" means snow. More broadly, because January is both the beginning of the year and yet a winter month, she has both a name referring to cultivation and growth (especially in warmer seasons) as well as a name meaning "snow" because it is still winter. Since snow is pure and freshly fallen, this can also represent January.
    • "initium" means "beginning".
  • "No More Holding Back" Speech: After her realization talking with Ai, she realizes that views from those around her have influenced her thinking. Having decided not to let it hold her back, she returns to work a changed woman.
  • Not So Above It All: Though she's hardworking and serious to the core, she's open to teasing Hajime for things he did in the past. She is one of the few people who can get away with it scot-free.
  • Odd Friendship: Yuki muses that despite all their differences, she and Ai get along very well.
  • One-Steve Limit: Wakaba's last name is romanized as "Yuki", but the kanji for it reads "Yuuki".
  • Proper Lady: High-class, resilient, and poised.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: Her long black hair is noted to be a key trait of hers.
  • Snow Means Love: Her songs. In particular, Harari and Rikka Nadeshiko.
  • Universally Beloved Leader: To Fluna. Ai, Hina, Chisa, Wakaba, and even Kurisu respect her.
  • Yamato Nadeshiko: Her very character. She has the traditional background, long black hair, and the mature, diligent nature to boot. This is also exemplified in her very first song, Rikka Nadeshiko.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: When Ai is down in the dumps about being unable to help out her Goddess, Yuki reassures Ai that just being there is enough.

    Kisaragi Ai
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/02_ai_19_1.jpg

Voiced by: MAKO
Stage Cast: Mai
Producer: Nijihara Peperon
Age: 25 (2023 setting)
Birthday: February 14
Height: 168 cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: amor
Partner: Hanazono Yuki (Flower Seniors)

The female February representative. Ai is an easy-going, gentle person, the type who prefers to make peace with others rather than get into disagreements, making her weak when it comes to arguments. She is kind and affectionate towards others, unable to ignore pleas from others. She also looks after her older twin brother Koi, whom she loves dearly, and is loved in return. After graduating from Diana Academy, she has become a Goddess candidate under Nogami Zen.

  • Aloof Leader, Affable Subordinate: The affable subordinate to her boss, Nogami Zen.
  • Big Brother Worship: Though she does get exasperated by his antics from time to time, she considers Koi to be her eternal hero. This stemmed from their childhood, where he helped her overcome her fear of others by introducing her to his friends and bringing her outside.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Ai herself doesn't touch upon it, but it's mentioned multiple times that her chest stands out as a plus factor to her attractiveness.
  • Delicate and Sickly: How she used to be as a child.
  • Divine Parentage: Her mother used to be a Goddess. Her physical weakness as a child was implied to be because of her half-blood status being unable to withstand the power, but it also inspired her to become a Goddess herself.
  • Following in Relative's Footsteps: Her mother gave her hope when she revealed to Ai that her weak body was because Ai had inherited more Goddess power than her brother. Feeling incredibly moved and realizing there was something she could do, Ai began to harbor a dream: to become a Goddess like her mother was.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The responsible to Koi's foolish. It's made quite apparent in her introductory CD, where she cautions Koi to stay safe and make sure he has all his belongings before going out.
  • Good Parents: She has nothing short of praise for her parents. Ai treasures her mother, a former Goddess who inspired her, and her father, who loves their family despite the secrets they keep.
  • The Heart: A relaxing presence to all who meet her. It's said that just being around her heals the soul.
  • In the Blood: It's stated that despite their differences, Ai and Koi have an innate desire to help others and make them happy.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Like all of the male representatives, her family name is the classical/poetic name for her month. She is the only female representative to share her last name with the month's male one, obviously being because she is siblings with Koi.
    • "Ai" means "love". In particular, "Ai" is used for a form of love that is affectionate and empathic, with the desire to treasure. This is in line with her end goal of becoming a Goddess to help people.
  • Pink Means Feminine: It's her image color and her unit color. She is also extremely caring, gentle, and considerate.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Pink-haired, soft, and sweet.
  • Sweet Tooth: She thinks that sugar is the best nourishment for someone who's tired. She and Koi also bond over their favorite candies.
  • Theme Twin Naming: Koi and Ai, which, when put together, form the word for romantic love (Renai). Their birthday is Valentine's Day.
  • Twin Switch: Koi used to dress up like Ai when they were kids to get more snacks.

    Momosaki Hina
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/03_hina_19_1.jpg

Voiced by: Rumi Ōkubo
Stage Cast: Momoka (1); Kawakami Eriko (2-)
Producer: Yuuyu
Age: 24 (2023 setting)
Birthday: March 3rd
Height: 157cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: ver
Partner: Hijiri Kurisu (Flower Juniors)

The female March representative. Hina is gentle, taking things at her own pace. She seems unreliable due to her shy personality. Despite that, she has a resilience that few can match, and once she has set her mind on something, she will see it through to the very end. She is a diligent worker whose tagline is "Never give up!" Often a victim of her partner Kurisu's antics. After graduating from Diana Academy, Hina became a Goddess candidate student under the Mad Scientist Okuri Ramune.

  • Bait-and-Switch Comment: When Hina's boss is trying to convince her to go along with her experiments, Hina seems as if she's accepting... but immediately shuts her down.
Hina: Sure, if you’d have me! ...Is something I’m definitely not going to be saying, all right!?
  • Big "NO!": When Kurisu drags her out of her room, regardless of the fact that Hina is still in her pajamas and hasn't washed up.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: She acts as the Tsukkomi to her wacky boss, Okuri.
  • The Chew Toy: For Kurisu's experiments. Occasionally gets dragged into the scuffles that Kurisu causes with Tsubaki, too, according to her profile.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: Her very first introduction to the series within the drama CDs is clinging to Kurisu's door and falling down when she forgets to step away from the door.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Hina doesn't really know what she wants to be as a Goddess candidate. She doesn't have a goal, and it causes her to almost spiral into negativity...
  • Determinator: But after a Rousing Speech from Kurisu, she's back on her feet, realizing that her indecisiveness could actually inspire others.
    • This is also noted in Kurisu's introductory CD. When Hina is dragged into doing dance practice for Kurisu's song, Hina actually learns all the dance moves before leaving, despite having to practice over and over.
  • Extreme Doormat: Downplayed in her introduction. She's unwillingly roped into the schemes that Kurisu causes, though it's less that she's so weak, and more that Kurisu is a force to be reckoned with.
  • Flower Motif: Peaches.
  • Flowers of Femininity: Associated with peach flowers, and some of her songs feature a flower motif.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: The tiny girl when standing next to Haru's huge guy. They have an almost 30 cm height difference, so this is expected.
  • Mad Scientist: Not one herself, but she notes that she has a curious connection to them. First, her partner Kurisu, and now her boss, Okuri Ramune.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Momosaki contains the letter for peach (momo). Hinamatsuri, also known as Girls' Festival, is the holiday she was born on, and it is associated with peaches because it often happens around the time peach trees bloom.
    • Hina, while also referring to Hinamatsuri, can also mean "baby chick". This is incorporated in her lines in the unit songs.
  • Never Bareheaded: Always seen wearing ribbons to tie up her ponytail.
  • Odd Friendship: Somewhat, with Reina. Despite being complete opposites in personality, they often chat about their wacky partners.
  • Plucky Girl: A diligent and hard worker. She often hesitates, and she loses her way, but she will always reach a goal that she has set her mind on it.
  • Shrinking Violet: Tends to lose confidence in herself, and she stammers a lot.

    Togawa Chisa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/04_chisa_19_1.jpg

Voiced by: Ai Nonaka
Stage Cast: Kagura Chitose
Producer: ChouchouP
Age: 25 (2023 setting)
Birthday: April 6th
Height: 165cm
Blood Type: B
Official Fanclub: cerasus
Partner: Yuki Wakaba (Flower Middle)

The female April representative. Lively and full of energy, Chisa is always bounding around to try and find something fun to do. She is proactive and bubbly, and she loves events, so she likes pumping things up. Chisa enjoys giving others nicknames, and it's easy for her to strike up conversations with people due to her fun-loving personality. After graduating from Diana Academy, she has become a Goddess candidate under Setta Sumire.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Others call her Chisachii.
  • Benevolent Boss: She and her boss get along swimmingly, and they often go out to shop together.
  • Book Dumb: With Wakaba when they were students.
  • Cherry Blossom Girl: The "sa" letter of her name is the letter for cherry blossoms. It is her Flower Motif, she was born in springtime, and it encompasses most of her songs.
  • Cherry Blossoms: Like her fellow April representative, she's associated with cherry blossoms. She is particularly fond of them because the Goddess who appeared among the cherry blossoms in her childhood was so dazzling to her and inspired her to become that way.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Much like fellow April representative Arata, her mind is often in wonderland. She's unpredictable, wacky, and motivated by fun.
  • Comical Overreacting: It's one of her traits. Wakaba notes that the things Chisa overreacts to are so out of left field that Wakaba herself can't predict what'll set her off and what won't.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: It's noted in her profile that she's slightly clumsy and a bit of an airhead.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: One of her goals. Judging by her rather... artistic result when preparing for their High School AU, she might not be all the way there just yet.
  • The Generic Guy: Touched upon in her introductory CD. She's not a genius or especially skilled in anything, which makes her mope a bit.
  • Genki Girl: One of the biggest examples among the girls.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Togawa contains the letter for rabbit, referencing how she leaps and springs about like a cheery rabbit.
    • Chisa means "thousand cherry blossoms". According to her profile, she was named that way because her parents wanted her to grow up a graceful young lady.
  • The Nicknamer: It's listed as one of her hobbies, and she has one for each of the boys. In order: Kakerun, Hajiking, Koikku, Harusame, Aratacchi, Aoi-chan, Ruirui, Kai-nii, You-nii, Yorurin, Ikkun, and Fallen Angel of the White Darkness.
  • No, You: This is how Chisa and Wakaba argue, calling each other insults while claiming the other is the same insult.
  • Odd Friendship: With her fellow April representative, Arata. Despite being completely different in personality and appearance, they get along great as fellow April Fools. Their vibes and wavelengths match to a tee, getting hyped up together over some of the most meaningless things.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Like Arata, her alternate identity is very tellingly her. She wears sunglasses, a scarf... and not much else.
  • Plucky Girl: Despite her worries about her normalcy, she's quick to pull herself out of a funk. Even when faced with a tough time, she resolutely stands up to it, and she always comes back.
  • The Prankster: She loves messing with others. The most common victim is Hina.
  • Secret Identity: She fashions Heartbreak Lady to be this. Believing that Heartbreak Red (Arata) alone can't help women, she joined him in his Sentai hero act.
  • Something Person: Her not-so-Secret Identity as Heartbreak Lady is this.
  • Think Happy Thoughts: When about to spiral into negativity wondering what she's actually good at, she shakes herself out of it, realizing her good point is how quickly she can get back into a positive mindset.

    Yuki Wakaba
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/05_wakaba_19_1.jpg

Voiced by: Yumi Uchiyama
Stage Cast: Miku (stylized as Mik)
Producer: Nem
Age: 25 (2023 Setting)
Birthday: May 20th
Height: 167tm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: caelum
Partner: Togawa Chisa (Flower Middle)

The female May representative. Gallant and courageous, she is a refreshing young woman who loves sports. She enjoys moving her body and being active, so when she was in school, she would run around helping other sports clubs with their activities. Because of her personality, she'd often be tasked with the job of leading others, and she thrives in positions that make use of her proactiveness. After graduating from Diana Academy, Wakaba has become a Goddess candidate under the Goddess Midousuji Akira.

  • Aloof Leader, Affable Subordinate: Her boss is cold and calculating (though only on the surface), while Wakaba is nothing like that. This caused her a bit of grief in the first year of her job, however, since Wakaba didn't think she was actually helping.
  • Book Dumb: With Chisa, back when they were students.
  • Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: To Chisa. She's been with Chisa long enough to know that she actually can't understand her best friend thoroughly.
  • Commonality Connection: She gets along with Aoi as fellow animal-lovers and being confused by their partners' odd moments.
  • Compliment Backfire: Somewhat, after sparring with Kai for Hyakunen Aoharu. She mentions that fighting him is like fighting a bear, much to his confusion.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Around fluffy, cute pets.
  • Delayed Reaction: When her boss mentions that her son has fallen ill, Wakaba is in the middle of her next sentence before processing what her boss actually said.
  • Dumb Jock: A downplayed version. In a call with her mother, she starts off happily talking about her recent achievements in sports, and when her mother asks about her test grades, Wakaba's excitement dwindles... before sobbing that she has been on the usual decline in her grades.
  • I'm Standing Right Here: Before meeting her boss, she feels absolutely terrified, having heard the rumors. Wakaba laments her own situation before wondering why she was given such a frightening boss when her grades were just as bad as Chisa's, all while Chisa is standing next to her.
  • In the Blood: Her family is very sports-oriented, with her grandfather running a karate dojo. Her father and mother are also athletes.
  • Late for School: How her introductory CD starts off.
  • Lovable Jock: Athletic and multitalented, she's a nice girl who always seeks to help out wherever she can.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Although "Yuuki" itself doesn't mean anything, it is a homophone of the word "courage," which fits with her headstrong and confident personality.
    • "Wakaba" means "new leaf". This fits the nature theme going on with her partner Chisa, whose name contains the letter for "cherry blossom," as well as Wakaba's own theme of being a spring representative.
  • No, You: An old post shows that this is how she and Chisa argue. They sleep it off, and they're back to normal the very next day.
  • One-Steve Limit: Wakaba's last name is romanized as "Yuki", but the kanji for it reads "Yuuki".
  • Passionate Sports Girl: Very much so. She can excel in track, ball games, swimming, skiing, and ballet.
  • Scholarship Student: She got into Diana Academy through a sports scholarship.
  • Tomboy Angst: As a kid, she felt frustrated when she was called an "otoko-onna," or a tomboy. This led her to get defiant, determined to become a Goddess just to prove that person wrong.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She used to think that dresses and skirts weren't for her, but after getting encouragement from her unit members, she started gaining enough confidence to proudly state that she loves what she loves, regardless of whether or not it suits her.

Seleas

L-R: Akane, Matsuri, Yuno, Mizuki, Reina, Tsubaki

The female counterpart to Procellarum debuting in 2014. Like Procella, they represent June to November, and are the sister rival unit to Fluna. They began as Goddess candidate students at Selene Academy, but upon graduating, they became Goddess candidates who live on the Moon. Procellarum's main jobs are as idols, but Seleas also work under their respective Goddesses to generate energy that maintains their moon society. They are represented by stars. Their leader is Tsubaki.

Voiced by: Rina Sato
Stage Cast: Saito Chihiro
Producer: Yuyoyuppe
Age: 26 (2023 setting)
Birthday: June 25th
Height: 171cm
Blood Type: A
Official Fanclub: pluvia
Partner: Himekawa Mizuki (Star Seniors)

The female June representative. A refreshing young woman who is confident and gallant. Multitalented in both studying and sports, she caught the eyes of many a student in her all-girls' school, treating them all with princely mannerisms. Mizuki is her best friend, and though Yuno is often swung to and fro by Mizuki's fun-loving side, they are close enough to confide in each other their secrets. After graduating from Selene Academy, she has become a Goddess candidate under Ogura Sui.

  • Boyish Short Hair: Has maintained this throughout the years.
  • Bridal Carry: Can do this to Rui. It's implied that she can do it to Issa, judging by her offering to do so.
  • Cue the Rain: Yuno is known as an ame-onna (Rain Lady), and she calls forth rain just by stepping outside.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Gushes over adorable accessories, coos over frilly items, raves about ribboned clothes, and overall has a huge love for cute things in general.
  • Designated Victim: Of Mizuki's pranks and jabs, as well as her own Goddess' machinations.
  • Determinator: She acknowledges her weaknesses and strengths as being all part of who she is. Yuno is unwilling to let anything get her down, least of all her own self, so she wants to be the best side of herself she can be.
  • Eating Lunch Alone: Not because she doesn't have any friends, but because she's too cool that other girls would rather watch from afar.
  • Fairytale Motifs: What her third season song, Märchentic is based off of. The title means "relating to a fairy tale" or "fairy tale-like", referring to her desire to be a Princess Classic swept off her feet by a Prince Charming.
  • Following in Relative's Footsteps: Her mother is a current Goddess, which made her extremely busy, but Yuno still loves her just the same. Yuno aims to be a Goddess just like her mother.
  • Happy Rain: She doesn't dislike the rain, because she loves the moments when the rain clears up.
  • Height Angst: Didn't want to get any taller than she already was. When her height capped at 172 cm, she was beside herself with joy.
  • Kind Hearted Cat Lover: Appreciates Yamato, Rui's cat.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Downplayed. Though she's not extremely manly, and neither is Rui extremely effeminate, this can be used to describe her and Rui's positions as the fellow June representatives. Yuno is physically the toughest of the girls, while Rui is one of the physically weakest of the guys.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Terase contains the letter for "illuminate, shine". This is a nod to her goal as a Goddess, which is to serve as the clear sky that cheers people up after the rain.
    • Yuno itself doesn't mean anything, but it sounds similar to Juno, the Roman goddess for whom June is named.
  • Meido: Puts on a maid outfit when it is mistakenly delivered to her dorm room.
  • Raised by Dudes: Well, just one. She was raised by her stern, tough-faced father, which rubbed off on her personality being a gentlemanly and diligent one.
  • Rays from Heaven: Wants to be like this as a Goddess. She wants to be like the blue sky that clears up people's clouded feelings.
  • Tea Is Classy: She enjoys tea parties with Mizuki on her breaks. Yuno loves these moments, which are girlish to her, so she always looks forward to them.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She is a huge fan of cute things, getting absolutely excited whenever she lays eyes on one. Yuno is attached to the idea of loving what she loves. She recognizes that, though she may seem incongruous with her cutesy things, she shines best when she is in her element.

    Himekawa Mizuki

Voiced by: Shizuka Ishigami
Stage Cast: Sakura Karen
Producer: Hitoshizuku×Yama△
Age: 26 (2023 setting)
Birthday: July 10th
Height: 168cm
Blood Type: A
Official Fanclub: mare
Partner: Terase Yuno (Star Seniors)

The female July representative. Mizuki is an intelligent, poised, and mature young woman who comes from a rich family. Because of her status as The Ojou, she must always make sure that she always remains flawless to those who perceive her. That being said, however, when among Seleas, she would rather do away with that stiff nonsense and just have fun. She has a playful side and loves teasing her friends, especially her best friend Yuno, but it's all in good fun and they trust each other heavily. After graduating Selene Academy as its student council president, she became a Goddess candidate student under Kunugi Hana.

  • The Ace: Widely considered incredibly capable, smart, and hardworking to boot.
  • Alice Allusion: The theme of her third season solo, Dramatical Hunter, has this in the lyrics. It describes Alice, chasing after the fleeing rabbit, and getting lost in Wonderland. Curiously enough, because of how the lyrics refer to the singer as the rabbit, it seems that Mizuki is singing as the rabbit itself.
  • Beneath the Mask: As a Himekawa family member, Mizuki can't let her emotions show on her face, lest she get manipulated by people who seek to use her position to their advantage.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Has the largest chest in Seleas. Going off a comment she made to Yuno, it seems she's proud of her bust.
  • Camera Fiend: Has shades of this in her introductory CD. She takes pictures of fellow students out of nowhere, charmed by how lovely they looked.
    • One of her songs, Glorious Memories, is her singing about how much she loves taking pictures.
    • In Hyakunen Aoharu, she begins going into depth about her preferences for picture-taking, saying she has too many lens to count.
  • Drama Queen: Jokingly acts this way multiple times. Whether it comes to finishing her work or triumphantly noting how much her boss has made subordinates flee, she revels in playing up drama just for fun.
  • Elemental Motifs: It's not as present as it is with Kai, but it's there. A part of Mizuki's name can be homophonous with water. Several of her songs, such as Sunset, Reset. and Dramatical Hunter feature the theme of standing by the beach side.
  • Family Honor: Has this for the Himekawa family, a powerful conglomerate family on the Moon which has produced several Goddesses. As one of her monologues states, however, she feels stifled by how often Moon residents see her as nothing more than her name.
  • The Gadfly: Loves messing with people. Her typical victim is her beloved Yuno, but she will happily joke around and play with anyone who's in the area.
  • Heroic Lineage: It's been said that Goddesses have come from the Himekawa family before her.
  • Hidden Depths: She's not all too keen on being seen as nothing more than her title as a Himekawa family member. That is why she heavily prefers being around Seleas and being an idol on Earth, because they don't care about her family name.
  • Large Ham: Downplayed, since she only does so occasionally. She's very passionate when playing something up.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Himekawa features the letter for "princess". She is known as the Himekawa family's princess, also referring to her Proper Lady status, and she also mentions that Yuno treats her just like a princess.
    • Mizuki's name is written for the letters of "purity/beauty" and "hope," but "mizu" is also homophonic for the word water, referring to the July general theme of mare, meaning ocean.
  • Meido: According to Akane's introductory CD, Mizuki wears this at the cultural festival. It's the same one that Yuno tried on for her CD, and Mizuki mentions that she had it delivered from home.
  • Not a Morning Person: It's downplayed in comparison to other characters, but she would rather sleep in, especially on her days off. This is contrasted to her partner Yuno, whose daily morning activity is going for a jog.
  • Ojou: Is this. She is high-class and proper.
  • Proper Lady: Always keeps herself dignified, poised, and respected to maintain the position of her powerful family.
  • The Social Expert: She serves as a moderator who helps smooth the relations between her and her strict boss.
  • Student Council President: Of Selene Academy when she was a student.
  • Trademark Favorite Drink: Black coffee that perks her up in the morning.
    Motomiya Matsuri

Voiced by: Yuka Ootsubo
Stage Cast: Arakawa Mashiro
Producer: UtataP
Age: 25 (2023 setting)
Birthday: August 18th
Height: 164cm
Blood Type: B
Official Fanclub: sol
Partner: Asagiri Akane (Star Middle)

The female August representative. She is an avid inventor who enjoys tinkering and has made strides in inventing since she was young. Often The Stoic whose face is a blank expression, this is simply her energy-saving mode. When she hits festival mode, she acts like a total Genki Girl, full of energy, bursting to the seams with enthusiasm... until she runs out of steam, having to go back into energy-saving mode again. Highly dependent on Akane, her partner, who also makes sure she lives like a proper human. After graduating from Selene Academy, she became a Goddess candidate working under Jinnai Masami.

  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Acts like this to You. Matsuri pokes fun at his songs by repeating them word-for-word, nags at him for food, and is a general whiny nuisance. They get along, though, and they tease each other good-naturedly.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Matsuri acts as the wise guy, the "boke" to a lot of the pairs she's in. Most often, this happens with her talking cat-shaped tablet Nebutan, as well as her fellow August representative You.
  • Bungling Inventor: Shifts between this and Gadgeteer Genius when the situation calls for it. There are times her inventions turn out to be a success, but there are times when her creations go absolutely haywire, like in Reina's introductory CD.
  • Big Eater: A glutton who often asks for food. She likes festival foods, but she also enjoys Akane's meals.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Highly excels in building gadgets and machines. That is contrasted with her lack of motivation for just about anything else, including actually taking care of herself.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: An extremely skilled inventor who made money on patents even before the series proper. Her expertise in inventing is matched only by her oddities and her quirks.
  • Child Prodigy: In her internal monologue, she mentions that she has always been surrounded by adults as she experimented, implying this.
  • Festival Episode: A part of her introductory CD is like this.
  • Fireworks of Love: Some of her songs describe the burst of fireworks as a revelation that love is blooming.
  • Friendless Background: It's revealed that she didn't have friends her age until becoming part of Seleas due to her immersing herself in research, so she had built Nebutan to keep her company.
  • Friendly Rivalry: Has one with Kurisu, her fellow Mad Scientist.
  • Fury-Fueled Foolishness: Played for Laughs. When she's in an addled state due to hunger and Nebutan's snarking comments pissing her off, she becomes desperate and oddly emotional, shedding tears and sobbing over the very idea that Akane doesn't make her curry by hand.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Matsuri's many inventions have received praise. She builds things that she needs, whenever she needs it, seemingly without any effort at all.
  • Genius Ditz: Matsuri is focused only on her inventing. She is absolutely brilliant with the machines she creates, and her inventions are of great help to many people. However, she's incredibly clumsy when it comes to every other aspect of her life, being unable to cook, clean, or even wash her back herself.
  • In-Series Nickname: Occasionally called "Matsurin". Also referred to as the "Gluttonous Devil" by You.
  • Mad Scientist: Seleas' very own.
  • Maneki Neko: The shape her robot cat Nebutan takes. In a half-asleep state, she calls him a Tanuki, which he takes offense to.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Motomiya is written with the letters "origin" and "palace". The former could reference how she is an inventor, being the original creator of all sorts of machines.
    • Matsuri is the word for "festival", while the second letter in her name is placed there in order to make it a proper name. Her name being homophonous for festival, of course, represents how her shift in personality revolves around festivals.
  • No Social Skills: Awkward in situations that she's unfamiliar with, including her workplace as a Goddess candidate.
  • Sleepyhead: Tends to oversleep past her alarms. In her introductory CD, it's revealed she snoozed right through one of her exams, making her attend makeup classes.
  • That Cloud Looks Like...: A donut to her, apparently.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Akane's homemade curry.
  • Trash of the Titans: She sleeps on top of a pile of junk and half-finished inventions.

Stage Cast: Watanabe Kasumi
Producer: John
Age: 25 (2023 Setting)
Birthday: September 11th
Height: 159cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: nox
Partner: Motomiya Matsuri (Star Middle)

The female September representative. A gentle and bright young woman who loves her family. Akane is very household-oriented due to her parents being away for their jobs most of the time, so she has become extremely skilled in taking care of housework. She has two younger twin brothers who cause her much grief but she loves them all the same. Her partner, Matsuri, is much like her parents, so Akane can't help but take care of her as well. After graduating from Selene Academy, she became a Goddess candidate under Kimura Seira.

  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Her younger brothers Keita and Yuuta are like this to her. She complains that they used to be so cute, but as they grew older, they started nagging her about all sorts of things.
  • Children Do the Housework: How she grew up. Because her skilled scientist parents were often away from home, she became responsible for handling the housework in her family. She enjoys doing housework, so it's no skin off her back.
  • Commonality Connection: With Yoru, it's cooking and housework. They exchange notes and preferences on recipes, and it causes people to ask if they're both housewives.
  • Cool Big Sis: Though Akane struggles to be respected by her little brothers, it's clear that she strives to be like this to them. Even though they cause her a good deal of stress, she knows that they're curious to know how she's doing as a Goddess candidate, so she happily regales them with stories.
  • The Cameo: In episode 9 of ProAni, she performs her song "Sepia" at the event with Growth and ZIX.
  • Designated Victim: Of Matsuri's inventions.
  • Elemental Motifs: She is most often associated with ears of rice in her lines for her unit songs. As someone who sings mostly about nature themes, this paints her as somewhat of a Nature Lover with an appreciation for grains.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: Cooking is one of her best skills.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The responsible sibling to her younger brothers' foolish siblings. Best exemplified in how her brothers led her into a haunted house, knowing fully well that she hates horror.
  • Guardian Angel: Matsuri claims that Akane is her own personal angel, praying to her to make curry for the starving Matsuri.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Asagiri means "morning mist". Although this clashes with her fanclub name "nox" which means night, it likely signals what comes after the nighttime, when dawn begins.
    • Akane is rendered in Hiragana. Although the typical writing for Akane is 茜, a shade of red often used to describe the morning dawn, it can also be written as "morning sound," which also ties into her theme of being the dawn after the nighttime.
  • Performance Anxiety: She dislikes going up in front of crowds to perform plays, wondering what she'll do if she screws up. This isn't present in her activities as an idol, however, since she claims she goes through meetings and can record herself doing it beforehand.
  • The Reliable One: Acts like this when it comes to her nuclear family dynamics and somewhat in Seleas.
  • Supreme Chef: Loves cooking and is extremely good at it. Matsuri's favorite of Akane's dishes is her curry.
  • Team Mom: The reason why Mizuki assigns her the position of performing the Moon's empress. It's because she acts like a mom.
  • Trickster Twins: Her little brothers.

Producer: takamatt
Age: 23 years old (2023 Setting)
Birthday: October 3rd
Height: 155cm
Blood Type: O
Official Fanclub: athletic
Partner: Tendouin Tsubaki (Star Juniors)

The female October representative. A perky and cheerful Otaku who absolutely enjoys digging deep into her interests. Reina is heavily invested in subcultures, loves scrolling the timelines, drawing, and many more hobbies that are typically associated with otaku culture. Still, she is passionately dedicated to her Goddess work, and she often goes about trying to help people wherever she can. Though she's often exasperated by her partner Tsubaki's behavior and statements, they're extremely close. After graduating from Selene Academy, she has begun work as a Goddess candidate under Andou Miyu.

  • Asleep in Class: Often did this as a student because she'd stay up late livetweeting anime.
  • Birds of a Feather: With Tsubaki, her partner. Being intense fans for their faves and fortune-tellers who love the way fate works, they understand one another deeply.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Acts as the necessary Tsukkomi for Seleas as a whole. More frequently, though, she acts as the Tsukkomi to Tsubaki and her boss Kubou Ruri when in their Otaku modes.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror: Played for Laughs. As Tsubaki's partner, she is naturally subject to some crazy accidents. When she muses to Hina that sometimes she has no choice but to put up with Tsubaki blasting away a mattress and blowing stuff up, Hina is just shocked.
  • Cosplay Otaku Girl: She hypes up the idea of cosplaying for Halloween.
  • Cute Witch: She gives off this air in general, even if it's just as a theme. For her Black Cat Witch self, she's an actual witch.
  • Cool Old Lady: The Goddess she works under is a combination of this and a Granny Classic. Having been inspired by her boss, Reina aspires to be like this.
  • Cute Bookworm: She enjoys touring bookshops and happily shares books with her friends.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Reina's very first idol costume was nearly all black. Her Black Cat Witch outfit has a heavy dark-colored base. Meanwhile, the girl wearing said costumes is a sweetie who adores encouraging others to love what they love.
  • Delayed Reaction: When she meets up with Tsubaki and her otaku friend, Reina wonders aloud where she's seen said friend before... Before Tsubaki explains that her otaku friend is her boss. Reina freaks out accordingly.
  • Fairytale Motifs: Her Black Cat Witch self also makes an appearance in Shiawase Awase, having traveled to the current timeline in order to find out what happiness truly means.
  • Fortune Teller: Dabbles in this. She doesn't actually put too much stock into it, but she just loves the unexpectedness and the thrill of dealing with stuff that comes up.
  • Genki Girl: Bubbly, sweet, and bursting to the seams with what she loves.
  • It Is Not Your Time: On the receiving end of this in Shiawase Awase.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Ichisaki contains the letter for "ground, earth". Her lines in some group songs and her image color, brown, reference her association with the dirt upon which plants grow.
    • Reina itself doesn't mean anything, using the word "rei" which means beauty, and "na," which doesn't have a meaning. However, putting this together with her last name's first few syllables: "Ichi" and "Rei" together form 10, the number of her month.
  • Motor Mouth: When she's raving about her faves, she is unstoppable.
  • Near-Death Experience: In Shiawase Awase. An incredible amount of energy is required to travel to other worlds, and she, with Tsubaki, begins to feel the backlash from doing so several days after dropping by. Luckily, the guys are there to make it a near death experience.
  • No Indoor Voice: Sometimes lets the voice inside her heart slip when she gets too excited. Said voice has no cap on volume, and Tsubaki has to personally inform her that she's being too loud.
  • Odd Friendship: Shares one with Hina, who's quite different from her in personality and interests. Despite their differences, however, they share a Commonality Connection in how their partners are sometimes way too much for them to handle.
  • Otaku: A subculture fiend, she prides herself on being a maiden who loves subcultures and is loved by subcultures in turn.
  • Otaku Surrogate: Acts this way, being someone who stays up late at Otaku O'Clock, livetweeting the anime she's watching, and engages in drawing, cosplaying, and all sorts of hobbies.
  • Perky Goth: Gives off this atmosphere. Most of her casual clothes and idol outfits feature a dark theme, especially her first idol outfit. She's a cheerful and fun-loving sort of gal who is always eager to help out.
  • The Social Expert: A social butterfly whose knowledge of subcultures is rivaled by the number of topics she can bring up depending on the conversation. It's noted in her profile that she's a great chatter, and she doesn't fear talking with anyone, no matter how scary they are.
  • Spirit of Halloween: The biggest example of all the characters in the agency. Reina is heavily invested in Halloween and excitedly gets worked up for it whenever the. time of the year rolls around. She is more associated in Halloween than her fellow October representative Iku, with a majority of her songs containing references to Halloween or Samhain.

    Tendouin Tsubaki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/11_tsubaki_19_1.jpg

Voiced by: Sumire Uesaka
Stage Cast: Hiramatsu Kanako
Producer: Kikuo
Age: 23 years old (2023 Setting)
Birthday: November 11th
Height: 150cm
Blood Type: AB
Official Fanclub: albion
Partner: Ichisaki Reina (Star Juniors)

The female November representative. A mysterious young woman who seems to hold more answers than she lets on yet spawns more questions herself. Tsubaki adores freedom above all else and despises being tied down. She speaks cryptically, in riddles, but that seems to be a form of how she expresses her love. A whimsical yet dignified young woman, she is rarely seen unnerved about the odd things that happen around her, which tend to be a lot. Her bond with her partner Reina is a strange but deep one. After graduating from Selene Academy, she became a Goddess candidate working under Kubou Ruri.

  • Achievements in Ignorance: Tsubaki's introductory CD has her building a kotatsu. She removes a mysterious beast from the contents of the D.I.Y. package and... promptly puts it into the kotatsu, which causes them to merge together. The completed kotatsu becomes capable of roaring.
  • Acquainted in Real Life: Her Otaku friend who's been stanning a Tsukiuta. boy with her for years now? Actually her boss.
  • Alternate Self: Heavily implied to be Shun's in her profile.
Apparently, she is "the same individual, yet different existences - just one of the possibilities which exist" with Shun of Procella.
  • Birds of a Feather: With Reina. As fellow Otaku Surrogates in their own ways, Tsubaki is quite similar to her partner. They get along wonderfully, and Tsubaki's profile even notes that she's pretty gung-ho about the idea of cosplaying with Reina.
    • She and her boss are very similar, as she herself attests. Tsubaki feels that they have quite the kinship because of their occupations as Fortune Tellers and because they don't talk more than what's necessary. As it turns out, their relationship has more to it than meets the eye. They are actually fellow Otaku who are exceedingly intense fans of Tsukiuta. boys: Hajime for Tsubaki and Iku for Kubou.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Acts as the Boke due to her constantly odd behavior with Reina.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Fittingly for her ambiguous existence, Tsubaki directly addresses the audience several times in her introductory CD. When she contemplates the beauty of multiple stories which intertwine, creating multiple paths according to their wills, she asks someone if they find it just as interesting as she does. This "multiple stories" deal with intertwining plots is the exact sort of stuff that TSUKIPRO prides itself on, so one could even see it as Tsubaki asking the listener if they find the series amusing.
    • Tsubaki even brings up the concept of Tsukiuta. in that same CD. When she talks to herself about how November doesn't have many holidays to promote itself with, she straight out calls November her representative month to advocate for.
  • Childhood Friends: With Kurisu.
  • Chucking Chalk: Blasts an eraser at Reina to get her to wake up in class. It instead blows up a hole in the wall.
  • Comically Missing the Point: When she launches an eraser at Reina and subsequently opens up a hole in the classroom wall, she thinks to herself that her mistake was in not doing it quietly, conveniently forgetting that her original goal was to just wake up Reina.
  • The Comically Serious: Due to her many Achievements in Ignorance, Tsubaki tends to be the source of a great deal of humor without even intending to.
  • Creepy Good: Much like Shun, she's enigmatic and somewhat precarious to be around. Still, she cares heavily for Seleas, adores what she loves genuinely from the bottom of her heart, and will support everyone in their pursuits. It's telling that her end goal is to be a Goddess, a being on the Moon who assists both societies' people alike.
  • The Dreaded: Played for Laughs. Ayumu's Hyakunen Aoharu CD has him brightly looking forward to joining the Literature Club. When he steps into the room and sees a petite, white-haired girl with red eyes, he books it.
  • Dull Surprise: Her typical reaction to surprising things.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: She has one for Ayumu from ROCK DOWN. It's "Ayumin".
  • Fortune Teller: Extremely skilled. Her fortunes apparently have a 100% success rate, but the only issue with them is that they're so hard to decipher. According to her, she simply divines messages that come to her from the radio waves that are sent down to her.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Looks to be like this with Shun. He's a full 32 cm taller than she is.
  • It Is Not Your Time: Receives this from the boys in Shiawase Awase, whereupon they help out to bring the girls back to their timeline.
  • Lady of Black Magic: Despite her appearance, it seems that her specialty is in offensive magic. She plays up this attitude to great effect.
  • Large Ham: When she hams up the Witch persona, it scares even Reina.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • The first two kanji letters of Tendouin (天童) mean cherub, or gods masquerading as children. This goes with her questionable existence, brushing on the topic of who, or what, she really is. Additionally, the "heaven" letter of her last name goes along with Reina's last name having the letter for "earth".
    • Tsubaki means camellia. Camellias tend to bloom in late fall, which is when November rolls around, and is her representative month.
  • Motor Mouth: Speaks incredibly quickly when she's raving about the charms of idols and in particular, her beloved Hajime-sama in Shiawase Awase.
  • Mystical White Hair: One of the two talents who has pure, snow-white hair. She and Shun are the only characters who have been confirmed as having magical powers in the normal timeline.
  • Near-Death Experience: Happens in Shiawase Awase, alongside Reina. The fairy tale world's Tsubaki and Reina exhausted a great amount of energy to make their way to the normal timeline, and they're just about to run out of their remaining life before the boys show up to prevent it.
  • Never Bareheaded: Often seen with a ribboned headband or ribbon. Her 2019 unit outfit features her wearing a hat.
  • Online Alias: "Hajime-sama's Godlike Stannie Camellia Soul".
  • Otaku: For Hajime. She, Shun, and Uduki Yuka are three known members of the Hajime fan club.
  • Otaku Surrogate: Judging by her behavior, Tsubaki is meant to represent the Tsukiuta. fans on Twitter who deck out their rabbits, meet up with their mutuals in real life, purchase each others' merchandise, and completely change in personality when they're gushing about their faves. She was once noted to have been in the exchanging area during one of the Miracle Moon Festival performances, trading merchandise with other fans.
  • Red Baron: The "White Witch".
  • Rule of Three: When she is convincing Reina to put up with the oddities going on, she repeats a certain phrase three whole times. The last time, she notes to an audience that she has said it thrice that day.
  • The Stoic: Consistently seen with either a mysterious smile or with a deadpan expression.
  • Token Mini-Moe: The shortest of the talents alongside Kurisu. Unlike Kurisu, however, Tsubaki seems perfectly fine, if not amused regarding their height.

Animals

     Kuroda

His normal rabbit form
His human form in CYBER DIVE CONNECTION

Voiced by: Takaya Kuroda
Stage Cast: Ayukawa Taiyou

A giant black rabbit owned by the president of Tsukino Talent Productions, Tsukino Mikoto. Kuroda frequently escapes from his owner, and it's during these escapades that he runs into Hajime and Haru, Arata and Aoi, and Kakeru and Koi. These days, he's often seen on Gravi's floor, having made Hajime's room his home.

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Wears a blue collar with a star on it.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: He's quite dedicated to Shiroda. Unfortunately for him, she's not interested. Or, according to a comment made by Shun... is she?
  • Arch-Enemy: With Haru. Kuroda and Haru get along horribly with each other, and it's even worse when he's in human form, since their scathing remarks to each other are a rally of passive-aggressive insults.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: A platonic version with Haru. It seems that his headbutts are actually a form of appreciation and love for Haru. Likewise, Haru is rather fond of the black rabbit, as long as he's not in the vicinity to get the life knocked out of him.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: "Kuro" means black. Kuroda is a black rabbit.
  • Henpecked Husband: Downplayed. In addition, he's not Shiroda's husband, but he seems to give off this vibe when he complains that Shiroda will get extremely upset with him when being lenient with Hajime and Shun in CYBER DIVE CONNECTION.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: With Shiroda. She is extremely tiny, especially when compared to the extremely large Kuroda.
  • In-Series Nickname: The "Black Bullet". This refers to how he runs like a bullet when he headbutts Haru in the stomach.
  • Large and in Charge: Known as the leader of the animals, he's also the biggest and the tallest.
  • Nearly Normal Animal: Of the Largely Normal Animal variety. Can clearly converse with Shiroda and seems to have human-level intelligence.
  • Stout Strength: He's one hefty rabbit, but he has enough strength to send a fully grown man flying with a single headbutt.
  • Talking Animal: Shifts between this and Nearly Normal Animal depending on the situation. When promoting things such as the anime's second season or their ROCKOOL summer festival, Kuroda actually has a voice. In the typical universe itself, though, he speaks in Visible Silence.

Others

Siblings, Friends, Managers, etc. - all non-idol characters connected to the idols of the Tsukiuta series.

     Kanade Tsukishiro

     Dai Kurotsuki

     Uduki Yuka
Uduki Arata's older sister.

     Satsuki Chihiro
Voiced by: KENN

Satsuki Aoi's older brother.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Chii-chan. It originates from his and Aoi's mother, who called him that as a kid. Due to force of habit, Aoi occasionally still calls him that, much to his embarrassment. Arata and Yuka also call him that.

     Minaduki Rei

Rei at work
Rei as a child
Voiced by: Shouta Aoi

Minaduki Rui's older brother. A former high school classmate of Hajime and Haru's, Rei is currently working as a doctor. Though he and Rui had a bumpy relationship in their childhood, they've since mended their relationship and get along, supportive of each other's careers.

  • Big Brother Instinct: Rei has this for Rui, especially after they reconciled. They don't exchange many words with each other, nor do they have much time to spend with each other, but Rei definitely cares about his little brother. He visits their stages whenever he can, and as shown in Rui's focus episode in Tsukiani 2, Rei made the time to help Rui with an important concert.
    • Rei wanted to check out a stage early on in Rui's career, likely to support him. His facial expression was scary, implied to be because he was frustrated that it felt awkward for him to be there.
    • One of his biggest goals while studying to become a doctor was to fix Rui's scar.
  • Black Sheep: His relationship with his family is somewhat like this, despite Rei not being entirely against music any longer. Instead of going into music, he's instead become a part of the medical field.
  • Disappointing Older Sibling: Seen as this regarding music. Rui's introductory CD has Rei scathingly talk down on himself, as despite him attending a top-class high school, it meant nothing in a household centered around music and music alone.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Had this regarding Rui's piano skills as a child. He's grown out of it.
  • Labcoat of Science and Medicine: As a doctor, he wears this at work.
  • Megane: One of the ways to tell him apart from his brother.
  • Parental Neglect: Received this well into his teens, apparently. Because he wasn't as much of a Child Prodigy as Rui at the piano, he never received acknowledgement from their mother despite being a top student in an illustrious high school.
  • Shared Family Quirks: When Rei dropped by for one of Rui's birthdays, he helped out with eating the pudding cake. They note that he might be fond of pudding, just like Rui.
    • After another somewhat awkward birthday party, Rei and Rui deflate after the conversation finishes, claiming that they were so tense that they had gotten tired. Rei also seems to use "Ikkun" for Iku, just like his brother.
  • The Un Favourite: Was this in his family.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Sought out his parents' attention.
  • You Remind Me of X: Mentions that Rui's effortless genius reminds him of someone in his grade. He's all but namedropping Hajime.

     Haduki Sou
Haduki You's oldest brother.

     Haduki Toru
Haduki You's middle brother.

     Kannaduki Ichiha
Kannaduki Iku's older sister.

     Mattsun

     Mikaduki Yuzuru
Original character appearing in the anime and Yumemigusa. An actor starring in a play with the middle pairs.
     Koutarou (black)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pic_18_4.png
played by: Yuuya Tomonaga

Original character appearing in Kurenai Enishi. A tengu who accidentally brings the idols into another world. The Red and Black versions of the play featured different versions of the character. The Koutarou of the black side is a soft, elegant, self-doubting young man who serves as a reflection of Aoi.

  • Apologises a Lot: His defining trait. He blames himself for everything, because others say his cursed.
  • Doorstop Baby: Was taken in by Taroubou after being left at the Tsukino Shrine as a baby.
  • Oblivious Adoption: by brothers, at least. It's never revealed who/where their parents are, and Kurotenko probably isn't the only one who has a hard time believing that the baby Taroubou showed up with is actually his brother.
